Mount Justice

In the briefing room of Mount Justice Batman, Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Red Tornado were briefing the team on their next mission.

"This past fourth of July five ice villains staged simultaneous attacks. Mr. Freeze, Icicle Jr., Killer Frost, Captain Cold, and Minister Blizzard were all easily apprehended. Perhaps too easily." Batman explained as the five images of the criminals floated above them. "Cold and Frost were immediately sent to Belle Reve Penitentiary a federal prison designed to house super-criminals. The seventeen year old Icicle Jr. was sent to a juvenile facility. Mr. Freeze to his usual cell in Arkham Asylum. But Freeze petitioned the court to be legally sane and Junior sued to be tried as an adult. As a result both await transport to Belle Reve which seems to have been the goal all along."

Batman then walked towards Superboy and Miss Martian. "I'm sending the two of you in to find out why."

Aqualad then stepped up. "Who inside the prison will know their true identities?" he asked.

"No one." Batman answered. "We can't be certain the prison staff isn't compromised."

Wonder Boy then stepped up. "Um, Batman will I have a role in this mission?"

"Yes. Wonder Boy Our plan is to capture the Terror Twins who have been on a rampage across thee states, Superman and Martian Manhunter will lure them into a warehouse where you and Aqualad will be waiting to put these on them." Batman explained.

Red Tornado then walked up to Aqualad and Wonder Boy handing them power inhibitor collars.

"Power inhibitor collars… cool." Trevor muttered.

"Ugh, what about the rest of us?" Supergirl asked.

"The rest of you won't be needed for this mission." Batman said.

"Okay." Supergirl didn't seem too down.

"So when do we start?" Trevor asked.

"Now." Batman responded.

"Ready Wonder Boy?" Aqualad asked.

"Born ready!" Wonder Boy walked out in his new suit.

New Orleans

"This is Cat Grant reporting live from New Orleans historic French Quarter. Where the Martian Manhunter and Superman are in mid-battle against the so-called Terror Twins. Who have been on a three state rampage through the south." Cat Grant reported as the two threw the twins down into the storage facility.

The Twins shrugged off the daze from the crash and picked themselves up. Little did they know two individuals from behind slapped power-dampening collars around their necks.

"Hey!" Tommy was about to fight back, "That don't feel right."

Trevor managed to put Tuppence in a bind as the collar began to work.

"My strength… But I done just gone toe to toe with Superman." Tommy groaned through the pain and lack of powers.

"Congratulations." A shadow from the other side of the room spoke out, "It's more quality time than he's ever given me." The two figures stepped out to reveal M'gann, and Connor disguised as Tommy.

M'gann looked at him for a moment and looked over at Tuppence.

"Got your inspiration, sister Tuppence?" Connor spoke in a thick southern accent.

"I believe I do, Brother Tommy." M'gann said as she morphed into Tuppence.

"Somebody tell me what's going on?" Tommy asked, confused.

Batman walked up behind the two of them slapping inhibitor collars on their necks. "It's simple. They're under arrest."

"So what should we do with these guys?" Trevor asked as he kept Tuppence bound.

"We'll keep them locked up in a secure location until further notice. Take them away." Batman ordered the two of them.

Aqualad and Wonder Boy hauled the twins away to Miss Martian's ship.

"Get ready you two." Batman said as Connor and Megan got into position on the floor. The authorities were on the way.

After a few moments, the police arrived to haul out Connor and M'gann while Aqualad and Wonder Boy kept the real Terror Twins out of sight.

On board the Bioship Wonder Boy and Aqulad kept the Terror Twins hidden but the two of them were really starting to be a real pain.

"Ah heard about you kid. Wonder Boy, more like Boy Wonder ripoff." Tommy spat.

Having enough of their talking Wonder Boy walked over to them pulling out his sword and aiming the tip directly at the mouth of the male sibling. "You keep this up I'm gonna get angry and you wouldn't like me when I'm angry."

"Ooh so scary. You're such a cutie." Tuppence giggled.

Wonder Boy responded by hitting Tuppence in the back of her head with the hilt of the sword. "Don't call me cute, ever again."

"Wonder Boy, leave them be, we're close to our destination." Aqualad ordered.

"Yes Aqulad." Wonder Boy reluctantly complied taking his seat.

The Bioship arrived at the coordinates of the undisclosed location provided by Batman. Hoisting the twin, Tommy off his knees, Wonder Boy kicked him out of the ship, and onto the ground. "Ow. That really hurt."

"Oh man up, Tommy, you just went toe to toe with Superman." Wonder Boy hauled him back and pushed him forward.

"Alright alright." Tommy groaned.

Aqualad walked down with Tuppence in tow to their prison.

"He's quite the lil go getter?" Tuppence said rolling her eyes.

"Well done you two Aqulad stand by for further orders." Batman ordered.

"Batman, do you have anything else for me? I want to help." Wonder Boy said eager to assist.

"No," Batman replied. "You've done your part for this mission Wonder Boy, now go home. I'll call you if there are any changes."

Wonder Boy sighed. "OK, see ya Aqualad."

Trevor Family Penthouse Washington

Arriving at the penthouse Trevor, he took a deep breath through his nose and exhaled with a smile on his face.

"I'm home now! Hey mom, dad." Trevor arrives back to see his parents packing several bags.

"Umm… What's all this?" Trevor asked, throwing the bag containing his suit onto the nearby couch.

"We're going on a vacation to the lake!"

"And c'mon kiddo you gonna just throw that good suit like a regular hoodie? We put blood sweat and tears into that." Steve smiled.

"Sorry." Trevor grabbed the bag, and dropped it off in his room.

"So we're going fishing? What for? Not that I'm complaining, just curious." The idea of a vacation seemed very fun but it didn't feel like the right time for it.

Diana walked over to her son placing her hands on his shoulders. "We spend too much time in our work it's time this family spent time together."

"What about the Justice League or the Team? Not to mention your job, Dad? What if we're needed?" Trevor asked.

"The Team can do just fine without you for a few days, the same can be said for me in the Justice League as well as your father and his job." Diana said.

"Besides we need to remember why we do our jobs, for times such as this." Steve smiled with a thumbs up.

"OK then, I'll go start packing up too." Trevor said went back up to his room and began filling his duffel bag with clothes, "Hey so where are we going?" Trevor asked.

"There's a good spot I know that's just outside the city." Steve said. "It's an old cabin that my family built years ago."

"Okay!" Trevor had a faint hint of excitement in his voice.

"We have lots of plans for the weekend." Diana added.

Washington

The Next thing he knew Trevor found himself in the back seat of his dad's truck, his mom in the passenger seat and his dad driving. He was dressed in a simple t-shirt, jeans, boots, and a red plaid flannel shirt.

"Hey dad, how much longer?" Trevor asked for the second time.

"Not much further now, sport." Steve smiled, his eyes locked on the road.

"Sorry, I promised Mom I wouldn't do any flying, but things are so slow on the ground." Trevor sighed as he laid back in his seat. As he sat there something occurred to him, "Hey Mom since we're on the subject I've been wondering it's clear I've inherited all your powers but will I develop unique abilities of my own?"

"I'm not sure Trevor, you have the traits of an Amazon, my powers, but I'm not sure if any powers will manifest. Only time will reveal what if any new abilities will manifest." Diana explained to her son.

"Thanks mom," Trevor looked out the window imagining other powers he could have. The idea brings a smile on his face.

"I only hope if they do they don't end up destroying stuff in our place." Steven commented.

When Trevor first developed his super strength at the age of seven he had a hard time controlling it. The inability to control it resulted in his destroying things here and there around the penthouse, school, and other places. It was a miracle his powers weren't discovered by the public. It took weeks before he finally managed to keep his super strength in check.

"I told you I was sorry for almost crushing you." Trevor huffed with his arms crossed.

"I'm not blaming you son, I knew what I was in for when I decided to marry a warrior goddess and have a superpowered kid with her." Steve replied.

"And I'm grateful that I met you and that we got married every day." Diana said then kissed Steven on his cheeks.

"Aw shucks."

Wilderness

Passing through the wilderness. The smell of pine trees whisped through the open window. It was a beautiful scent to Trevor. His Amazon side gave him a deep appreciation of nature.

Several more miles down the road, going on the dirt road for a bit longer they found their destination. A run-down log cabin that's in need of minor refurbishment, but it still stands tall and proud.

"Stevn Trevor Jr. this here cabin belonged to my grandfather. Sorry for the full name sport, but I figured this was worth the one time." Steve had pride etched all over himself right now.

"Wow. This is pretty good, and I'll let that name slide this time." Trevor was in awe.

"Alright let's get settled for the weekend." Diana said then reeled in her two boys for a group.

"OK Mom now let go." Trevor said then wiggled his way out of her grip.

The family made their way into the cabin. Upon entering Trevor noticed the interior was more dusty than rusty. The place was so dusty it made Trevor cough. "Whew, dang, this place could use a good cleaning."

"All this place needs is some love and elbow grease." Steve assured as he put his bag down at the nearby coffee table, "I'll go to the back and check the generator."

Trevor looked around and saw the interior of the cabin was still standing strong. There were several animal trophies hanging on the wall along with several miscellaneous decorations."Wow, this place is actually pretty nice." Trevor commented.

"My grandfather built this place when my dad was a kid, he'd take him hunting here every summer. My Dad talked about those days alot, and now I'm here to bring you here, Trevor."

Diana looked at the animal heads with an unsure look. "I never understood why men hang their kills on walls."

"I could take a guess." Trevor stepped up, "A display of pride. While Amazons comprised of only women the concept of showing off prowess was never needed."

"You are wise beyond your years son." Diana said.

"I just learned it from spending time here." Trevor humbly smiled as he explained.

"I see. Trevor, go collect lumber for the fire." Diana asked.

"Easy peasy mom." Trevor replied then walked out. Outside there was a stack of old logs piled up but they were still burnable, "Heh, now all that's left is to- ahah! There you are." Trevor noticed an axe, still sharp, so that's good, "Alright this is where working a day at the Kent farm pays off!"

Trevor takes a wooden block and cuts it in two. With his strength, this was as easy as chopping a cabbage with a cleaver.

As soon as he was done Trevor collected the pieces and brought them inside. "OK, I got them."

"Well that was fast." Diana was surprised.

"Superpowers." Trevor stated.

At the nick of time the moment Trevor said that, Steve got the power back on in the cabin, "Well I'll be." Diana smiled.

Steven Trevor walked from the back with a smile on his face, "You know why haven't we considered doing this yearly?" Steve asked.

"Our responsibilities?" Trevor answered.

"Right." Steven nodded.

"Still, this is awesome, we rarely spend any time together. I mean with the Justice League, the Team, and the military." Trevor said. "I just wish-"

Before Trevor could finish that sentence his communicator in his ear started beeping. "Oh man my communicator is still on, I thought I turned it off."

"Why'd you bring your communicator this is supposed to be a quiet vacation?" Steve asked a little frustrated that his son brought superhero equipment.

"Sorry, I just thought, I already left it at home. Sorry. I'll let whoever is on the line and leave it in the car, promise." Trevor left to take the call outside.

"I'm calling that a happy accident." Diana was quite pleased with the circumstance.

Outside, Trevor walked towards the nearby bench and sat down answering his communicator. "What is it?"

"Hello Trevor." Kara was on the other line.

"Oh hey Kara, what's up is something wrong, are Connor and M'gann in trouble?" Trevor asked.

"No, just wondering how your camping trip was doin."

"It's off to a decent start." Trevor answered.

"Thats good to hear." Kara replied.

"Is there something else you needed me for?" Trevor asked.

"No… I just, It's quiet around here at the cave. Artemis and Kid Flash left to get supplies, and it's just me watching Michael. Even though he's in stasis, he's not bad company. He just can't talk yet." Kara explained.

"Oh… Well, wait, you're WATCHING THE CAVE ON YOUR OWN!?" Trevor yelled at the realization. Even his parents could hear him.

"Wow, our boy's only twelve and he's already sounding like a man." Steve was proud.

"Yeah." Diana leaned in on him.

"It's okay, it's quiet so far, and KF and Artemis won't be gone for much longer. Also, you know I can take care of myself. You forget who's my cousin?" Kara assured to Trevor.

"Right… sorry," Trevor grew a little anxious to the thought, but her words dialed down the tension.

"It's fine it's sweet of you to worry about me but also unnecessary."

"Well, at least everything's okay, on both ends. Is Michael look okay at least?" Trevor responded.

"Yeah he's fine. Still sleeping of course." Kara looked over at Michael in his sarcophagus.

"Okay well, I gotta go now, Kara. Glad you're keeping Michael safe." Trevor stood from the bench.

"Thanks Trevor, have a good trip." Kara said her goodbyes, and Trevor deactivated his communicator placing it in the car.

Back in the cabin, Diana and Steve were having a small chat, "You know given how things are with Trevor. I wouldn't mind having another."

Steve was slightly shocked by the idea, but he didn't seem to mind in the moment. "It's not a horrible idea, but I doubt we could have the time for that."

Just then Trevor walked back in, "Sorry about that, KF and Artemis left Kara to watch the cave. Given Michael's silence, I guess she needed someone to talk to." Trevor explained.

"Did you put the communicator back in the car, like you said?" Diana asked.

"No, sorry, hold on." Trevor walked back out leaving his communicator in the car, then came back inside the cabin. "OK, so what's first on the To-Do list?"

"Well, I thought we could go fishing, maybe after that, we could go swimming." Steve suggested.

"Ooh definitely!" Trevor said excitedly.

The Trevor Family was now in the boat fishing for a good game. The Trevor family was dressed in bathing suits. Trevor was dressed in nothing but a pair of shorts, wielding a big spear and keeping his eyes on the water for any fish that'll take the bait.

"I'm gonna catch a big bass today!" Trevor shook with excitement.

"You know we have fishing rods, right son?" Steve asked.

"Boring, not enough thrill the Amazons don't need fishing rods to fish." Trevor rejected.

"Well I'm sure you'll understand when you're older." Steve said. Knowing fishing can be both thrilling and peaceful. "Who knows maybe when you're as old as me you'll come here with your son and do some fishing."

"Steven he's only twelve years old." Diana said wrapping an arm around her husband.

"Right, sorry." Steve apologized.

"Maybe I'll learn the value of fishing when I'm older. Ooh!" Trevor stabbed his spear into the water and pulled out a big juicy bass. "Look I caught a big one."

"Oh great job, Steve open the cooler." Diana walked up to Trevor.

Steve opened up the cooler, and Trevor shook off the bass from his spear.

"That was a big one son! Proud of you!" Steve praised.

"Thanks dad!" Trevor smiled with pride.

After a few hours of fishing the family caught much game now the family was gathered around cooking the game and retelling their son with stories.

"When I was your age Trevor my mother Hippolyta would take me hunting for a big deer."

"What would you do with the deer? I mean obviously, it wouldn't be to mount it on a wall." Trevor asked.

"We'd cut it up and me and my sisters would feast. Often we use what's left for tools and leather we made sure not to waste anything. We amazons cherish nature and made sure that a kill wouldnt be wasted." Diana explained to her son.

"Ah this is the life, this reminds me of the time I was your age son, fishing here with my Dad when I was a kid, god I miss him." Steve reminisced on his childhood as he cooked the fish on the fire. The feeling almost brought a tear to his eye. "I wish he could've lived long enough to meet the both of you."

"Knowing you Steve, he raised you right. I would've been proud to have met him we would've… Hit it off, is that the right term to use?" Diana asked.

"I guess," Trevor replied, taking a bit from a cooked fish on a stick, "Mmm ooh yeah this is good!" Trevor chewed his fish with a satisfying look.

"When we're done tonight, tomorrow we're gonna go out hunting." Steve suggested.

Mt. Justice

Supergirl spent the last few hours studying world history more out of curiosity than for her studies. She took an interesting fascination to chapters in Greek history. Eventually, she took a look into Greek mythology. She found some interesting stories that she wanted to ask Trevor about.

"The Odyssey, interesting poem. Much more adventurous than the Illiad. I Wonder

what Trevor thinks of these stories?" Kara continued reading as Kid Flash and Artemis walked into the room. Still arguing about their new friend's condition for the last few hours.

"Are you serious! You still think there's nothing mystical about our friend here?" Artemis argued.

"Girl, there's nothing mystical about a guy in a stasis pod." Wally defended.

"A 'stasis pod' that's magically repairing his mind." Artemis stated.

"You think if you use the word 'magically it'll just make be believe its magic?" Wally threw the ball into Artemis's side.

Just then the pod started rumbling from all the constant nagging from the two, "What the?" Kara instantly went to attention at the sight.

The pod started opening, and Michael dropped out, "Will you take this fight somewhere else? I'm trying to heal here!" Michael managed to break out for a moment.

Shortly after he started dry heaving, "Get me back in the pod!" He heaved again, "Back in the pod!"

Kara quickly put him back in the pod and set the pod back to normal.

"Okay?" Artemis was shocked, even Wally too, but he just kept quiet.

"Can you two love birds argue about magic somewhere else?" Kara asked.

"Fine." Both said in unison which made both of them leave.

"Please don't do that again, we need you alive and healthy when you're ready." Kara put her hand on Michael's sarcophagus, and she heard a light finger tap from the other side.

The woods was quiet, and with the bait laid out around the spot, Trevor and Steve laid under camo with an armed rifle.

"Dad, are you sure about this? I'm more comfortable using a bow, a quick and clean kill." Trevor insisted uncomfortable with using a gun.

"Son, don't worry just breathe, inhale deep, exhale, calm yourself."

"Dad, I don't-" Trevor was about to question his dad.

"Shh, look." Steve pointed at the distance where they saw a buck eating some leaves, "Keep your eye focused on the scope, hold your breath and squeeze your hand. Don't pull, squeeze."

Trevor looked through the scope seeing the buck right in his sight doing as his father instructed him, he pulled the trigger firing the gun.

The deer fell with a clean shot, "Nice aim, kiddo."

"Still would've preferred to use a bow." Trevor muttered to himself.

Steve and Trevor went over to collect their dinner for tonight. Trevor looked over the kill, he felt a little guitly given Amazons respect nature but it was necessary.

"Trevor, son?" Steve patted his sons shoulder.

"I'm fine, it's just… This felt different." Trevor looked at the gun in his hands.

"Hey, son, It's okay." Steve hugged his son, "C'mon i'll haul this up, and we'll clean it back at the cabin."

"Okay!" Trevor lit up a little in his mind. The next thing they knew the Trevor family was cooking the buck.

A few slices of Venison mixed with a few herbs, green beans, and a side of powdered mashed potatoes from the house is just what this dinner needs on this trip.

"Mom, can you tell me the story of how you became Wonder Woman?" Trevor asked.

"Trevor I've told you the story many times." Diana said.

"Please mom, please." Trevor begged.

"Well I'd like to hear it again too!" Steve added., wanting to hear the story too.

Diana laughed and then complied with her son's request. "Okay, okay. Well… my story begins in 1941, I was living my life on Themyscira when the Gods sent the Amazons a message that the God of War Ares was bringing mankind towards destruction. So my mother held a contest comprising of our best Amazon warriors, the winner would be sent into Man's world to battle Ares and Save mankind from destruction. I entered the contest against my mother's wishes and won. My mother had no choice but to send me. When I arrived in this world it was strange to me, it was polluted and filled with greed. Well… to keep this short eventually I found Ares and defeated him, though it wasn't easy the God of war was waiting for me. The battle nearly cost me my life, but I won ending World War two. After that, I joined a group of heroes called the Justice Society becoming Wonder Woman."

"I never get tired of hearing that story." Trevor said then took a bite from the venison.

"I'm glad you like it. This is really good!" Diana took another bite of her venison and polished off the bite with a sip of wine.

"Hey, could I try a sip of that?" Trevor asked.

"No." Diana refused.'

"Come on I can handle it." Trevor insisted.

"I don't doubt you can but you are still a child and I will not allow my son to partake in drinking."

"Okay then." Trevor nodded in defeat and stuck with his soda, "Dad, can you pass the gravy?"

Steve complied and gave his son the gravy.

"How about you tell us a story my son?" Diana suggested. "It would please me to hear of your recent accomplishments."

"OK." Trevor pondered for a few moments on a good story to tell and finally one came to him. His mission to Santa Prisca.

"So there was the mission in Santa Prisca, all the details were in the reports, but not my own personal input on the experience." Trevor pointed out. "I was excited, it was our first official mission as part of the team. It was hard given who was supposed to be in charge, but we managed to figure out. The big guy Bane was fighting with the cult of Cobra, he could actually block Miss Martian's mind reading it was so crazy."

"Wow, son Bane himself." Steve heard stories about him and reports from his side of the military, "What else happened? How did this team leader come to be."

"At first Robin had the mantle, but he didn't do a good job, constantly bailing without telling us. He expected us to know what to do, but I shouldn't blame him with Batman both always knew what to do but with this team, he would need a different form of skills to lead the team. We decided to go with Aqualad because he's a natural-born leader."

"What about you Trevor, don't you have any interest in leading the team?" Diana asked.

Trevor scoffed. "I don't think I'm ready for that, the others say I could one day but I think I'm still a long way off from ever becoming leader of the team."

"Wow!" Steve was shocked to this part of the story, "My twelve year old son admitting he's not ready to be a leader. A natural leader here, and that's my boy!"

Trevor chuckled a little. "What can I say I have great parents and even better mentors."

"Oh now you're just buttering us up so you can have a sip of that wine, aren't you?" Diana chuckled.

"No!" Trevor argued back. "I'm being honest."

"We know son, just pulling your leg." Steve laughed.

"Trevor I feel as if I owe you an apology." Diana admitted.

"An apology, for what?" Trevor asked., confused.

"Independence Day." Diana said, then Trevor easily pieced it together.

"Oh that." Trevor said.

"I don't know what the Justice League is so scared of. I mean what's wrong with inducting the proteges into the Justice League?" Steve asked.

"Their children, we took a vote and we can't have children in the League, what kind of message would that send to the public? It's already bad enough we're sending them on dangerous missions, there's no way we're inducting them into the league… at least until their of proper age." Diana explained.

"Ugh, covert missions." Trevor corrected.

"I know, you're not my sidekick you're my son but it still worries me that you keep going out on these covert missions alone." Diana said.

Trevor rolled his eyes. "I'm never alone Mom, I have my team beside me, and everything you both taught me."

Diana was slightly humbled to those words, her worries went away for a moment.

"Don't forget the new armor we got you!" Steve chuckled.

"Yeah thanks for that, hope to use it for real in our next mission." Trevor praised, then let out a yawn.

Diana picked up on that. "OK, I think it's time we turn in for the nightt."

"Agreed, let's get some shut eye." Steve acknowledged.

"Oh come on can't we stay up a little longer?" Trevor said then let out another yawn.

"Nope, come on sport, even superhumans as powerful as you need rest." Steve said

"Okay, okay!" Trevor reluctantly complied.

The family went back to their rooms for some shut-eye. Trevor went out like a light bulb.

Mt. Justice

'Recognised Wonder Boy B-0-5'

Trevor walked back into Mt. Justice with a sealed plastic bowl of the Venison he hunted, and the first person he saw was a blonde girl flying over to her.

"Trevor your back!" Kara cheered, "What's this?"

"This is for you, Venison steak hunted and cooked by yours truly!" Trevor gave her the meal.

Kara accepted then gave him a hug. "Thanks. It's great to have you back, it's not fun listening to Artemis and Wally argue all-day. Even Michael was fed up with them."

Trevor chuckled. "I bet. Wait what about Michael?"

"Micheal's mind is mostly healed and he's regaining some sense of consciousness, Wally and Artemis constantly arguing was getting annoying for him."

"Every time they argue is annoying." Back in the medical wing, Trevor looked over at the bickering duo. "Jeez, I just wish they'd just kiss and make up already."

"Me too, I think those two will be good together, I just wish they'd see it." Kara said.

"Yeah, anyway are Connor and Megan back?" Trevor asked.

Kara nodded, "Yeah they're in the briefing room."

"Let's go." Trevor took Kara's hand and both flew to the briefing room to see Connor and M'gann holding hands together.

"Looks like I missed something important." Trevor noticed.

"Yeah they started dating!" Kara said.

"Do Wally and Artemis know?" Trevor asked.

"Not yet, I think they're still fighting to notice." Kara nodded with a cunning smile.

"Poor Wally he's gonna be heartbroken when he finds out." Trevor chuckled a little.

"Definitely." Kara said, chuckling too.

Conner and Megan then started kissing while Trevor and Kara watched behind their backs, "Oh…" Trevor went red instantly.

"I… whoa." Kara went red just as quick.

The two stood for a moment watching as they realized where their hands were. The two looked at each other and quickly darted away from each other.

"Umm sorry about that." Trevor apologized for nothing.

"Um no no no, I appreciate it." Her words felt a sharp pain in Trevor's racing heart, "I appreciate the leftovers." She redirected the response to a more indirect answer.

"Umm, you're welcome." Trevor brushed himself back into his usual self.

"Team to the cave." Batman called the team on intercom.

Trevor and Kara were relieved by Batman's request and the two flew over to the debriefing room.

"The mission in the prison was a success, all of the prisoners remain locked up thanks to Connor and M'gann here." Batman applauded the two young heroes. The rest of the team followed with the praising.

"I'm impressed." Aqualad said

"Awesome job you two." Artemis said.

"I wish I could've been there to see the looks on those inmates faces when they realized they failed to escape Belle Reve." Wally smiled at the ideas running through his head.

"Me too." Trevor said.

"Meeting adjourned," With that Batman left leaving the team on their own.

"So what should we do now?" Trevor asked.

Just then an idea came to Kara. "Oh, how about we celebrate with another beach day?"

"Ooh yes! I'm with Kara!" Wally instantly vouched for her idea given he missed the last beach party.

"Well what're we waiting on!" Trevor cheered, "Let's go!"

The kids ran to the dorms to switch into their swimwear, and they all raced out, "Best day EVER!" Wally cried!

Kara and Trevor jumped first into the water surfing the waves like naturals while Wally raced out to fetch the grill and all the food needed for the barbecue. Meanwhile, Artemis laid a towel on the ground and pulled out a book. Miss Martian decided to sunbathe under the sun. Kaldur decided to go surfing. Robin and Conner took their jump in the water.

"Best Day ever!" Wally said with praise.

"Yeah I'll bet, Baywatch!" Artemis called Wally that name when they first met.

"This is the best day ever!" Kara cheered over to Trevor.

"It really is!" Trevor responded.

Trevor noticed Kara laughing, for a moment he felt he was in a trance like the Sirens in Greek Mythology. It was the most beautiful song he's ever heard.

"Has anyone ever told you two make a great couple?" Wally said.

"Shut up Wally!" Both said at the same time.

"This is coming from the speedster who constantly argues with Artemis?" Robin backed the kids up.

"Yeah!" Kara added.

"Seriously," Wally was quickly shot down from his remark, "Oh don't worry, Baywatch you're still faster than us when running!" Artemis chuckled to her own words.

"Yeah I feel so much better!" Wally sarcastically responded.

The rest of the team laughed it all off and continued playing.

"Hey Artemis?" M'gann called to only Artemis via telepathy.

"Yeah, M'gann?" Artemis responded.

"They really do make a great couple, but for now let them keep what they have." M'gann smiled at the two kids in their team, laughing and splashing water at each other.

"Yeah, they definitely make a great duo." Artemis realized.

The rest of the day was spent with the super kids having fun, no dangers, no worries just fun. And with Michael nearing his healing, they may have another reason to celebrate with a new member, someday.

I hope everyone enjoyed chapter 11 of Wonder Boy. Please leave a review and tell me what you think.
