Chapter 2: Breaking Off
Ron and his partner had been briefed by Wade concerning the sudden attack on HenchCo Industries, then boarded a jet that GJ had arranged for them. Kim herself was now in her mission gear, talking to their hacker friend about any clues he could provide them.
Ron was looking out of a side window, staring at the familiar scenery. It had honestly took him by surprise, the limitations of Team Possible in tracking these kinds of threats. He'd fully expected that Wade would inform them of what had happened shortly after Ron had committed the act… But instead they'd been contacted by Global Justice, most likely after their own investigation had hit a wall.
'Just goes to show how incompetent they all really are. …and how easy it would be to demolish them, if I want to' the blonde teen mused, recalling his little trip last night. He had made his way to the lab, to destroy anything that might be harmful to him later on down the line. More importantly, he'd retrieved a certain 'item' from there… Afterwards he'd headed to HenchCo, making sure to give them a little warning about continuing their research.
"Well… this is something…" Kim remarked, finished her little conversation with the hacker of the group. She sat down next to her blonde boyfriend, even leaning into his side.
The blonde teen's teeth clenched, forcing himself not to push her away. "What is?" he asked, keeping his voice cool and his tone light.
"This mission… I would have sworn that we'd already dealt with that whole thing enough by now. …and now we have to deal with this again? Is it Drakken this time, or maybe Monkey Fist? Hell, maybe even Electronique if she wanted to have another go at it!" The redheaded heroine sounded a little stressed out.
Any good and loving boyfriend would have pulled her closer, tried to comfort her. But, luckily for Ron… that didn't apply to him anymore. "I'm sure that we can deal with this one, easy. I'm positive that we'll be done in no time… trust me on this" the blonde monkey master assured her. He instantly regretted speaking, Kim grabbing a hold of his hand and playing with his palm.
"Thanks, Ron… you can always cheer me up!" She moved her head closer, kissing his cheek.
'I was trying to shut you up!' he fumed internally, an awkward smile sprouting on his face. "You know it! Now, what did Wade say? Did he find anything?"
Kim's happy expression turned just a bit down. "No… he didn't. The lab was completely destroyed, the only thing they found was that the head scientist that made the Attitudinator was gone…"
"Gone?" he asked innocently, making sure to stick to his buffoon persona. "Gone where?"
"They're still looking for him, but… there's so much rubble and destruction that they still haven't found anything…" she answered.
'And they never will…' He wanted to laugh at the situation so badly, but held himself in check. "I'm sure he'll turn up, at some point…"
Kim kept clinging to his side until they landed, her face and demeanor changing to her mission-mode as they walked out of the jet.
"Kim Possible!" greeted a familiar voice, the person moving closer to the two. It was an agent they'd both worked with before. "I see that you've made it!"
"Agent Du, yeah, we did… Although, I'm surprised to see you here… I thought you wanted US to look into this" Kim questioned.
"Indeed, we did… Dr. Director insisted on calling you both here, even when I stated that one of you would be enough for the task…" The young agent simply started walking, showing them the way.
"I swear… I will have some words with Betty over this…" Kim hissed through her lips. She started following the agent, Ron walking at her side.
"Don't worry about it…" Ron advised. 'I can deal with this low-level operative myself…' Ron mused, he couldn't wait to knock this idiot out.
"Fine, if you say so…", the redheaded teen smiled.
Ron could instantly recognize the face she was making. Kim was thinking of going behind his back and taking care of this little issue, like she always did. He was well aware that she'd done so, many times before. Whenever somebody had made fun of him, or hurt him in some way. Some bullies wanted to push him around? She'd made short work of them, to the point that said people turned and ran the second they saw her or Ron. She'd had that protective streak even before they'd gotten together. …and it had become even stronger, after they'd become a couple! So much so, that even the great Queen Bitch didn't dare say anything bad to him while his darling girlfriend was around.
'She thinks that I'm just a weakling that she needs to protect! But all of that will change, very soon…' the blonde boy vowed, they entered the building.
…
Now inside, both members of Team Possible could see the damage that had been done. Everything seemed to have been scorched, to the point it was unrecognizable.
Looking around they saw a few agents of Global Justice combing the area, inspecting anything that could give them an inkling about what had happened. A few workers were trying to move some of the rubble out of the way, a single dark-haired man was standing in the middle of the room and yelling at the workers to move faster.
Agent Du was the first to approach him. "Mr. Hench, I've-" the young agent started to inform, before he was cut off.
"Can't you see I'm busy here?!" the older man yelled in anger. "And I've said it already, I don't have anything to hide! But, you still use that excuse to try and steal my work! You'll hear about this from my lawyers! Both you, AND that one-eyed bi-" The man turned around mid-rant, noticing the two teens standing behind the young agent. "Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable!", his expression changed the instant he saw them.
"Mr. Hench… we came at the request of Global Justice, would you mind telling us what happened?" Kim moved to pacify the situation.
The older man cleared his throat before he straightened his tie. "Y-Yes, I suppose that there is some merit to them, if they called you over… To answer your question… I'm not sure…" The man glanced around, still looking fairly annoyed but keeping his face in check.
"You were obviously hit by someone… Or, was it some faulty piece of equipment that went out of control?" the redheaded teen asked, looking around.
"I would not let anything, other than perfection, enter my building. Even a prototype would be heavily tested, before it did…" the man said with pride. He looked around, "this was sabotage… plain and simple…"
"Was anything stolen?" the heroine asked.
"No… nothing was… It was all just destroyed… not a single thing left intact…" the man responded.
Kim stared at Hench, examining his expression. "Do you think it was an inside job, or that one of your competitors wanted you out of the way?"
"Miss Possible, I would prefer it if you refrained from insulting the loyalty of my men… There was not one of them out of place, and I've got the video to prove it… Competitors, you say? I'm the only one in the business, with enough resources and manpower. But, if you mean one of my 'customers', I don't believe it was…"
Kim shook her head, moving around the room. Everything was scorched, or broken beyond repair. Even if she didn't believe the man's words, it still made no sense for any of the villains to go after their main supplier. It would only hurt them in the long run, as the man provided them with both manpower and technology. …was it someone new? Or, were they missing something?
Ron stood at the side, listening closely to the conversation. He would have liked to laugh, gazing proudly at his handiwork. But he stuck to looking around, his 'partner' taking the time to question and analyze the evidence before she did anything… It was yet another reason as to why he was so wary of her.
'She is the only competent one, someone who could pose any sort of challenge to me…' he cackled internally. It only made her more dangerous in his eyes, he liked it.
"Ron Stoppable!", the older man responsible for the facility walked over and offered his hand. "I'm delighted that you and your partner have agreed to help me out, even though our interests often do not align."
Ron would have liked nothing more than to end the moron that stood before him. After all, he was the one responsible for that accursed device. Requesting it to be made, intending to sell it to the richest idiot that could afford it! The only reason that Ron decided to spare him the same fate as his building, was that device had freed him from his moronic self. The blonde teen ignored his hand, continuing to look around. "We're just helping out… If we can find the one responsible, then it's fine…"
The older man seemed to stare at the boy for a few moments, his friendly expression returning. "I'm terribly sorry if I've angered you at some point, but just know that I do hold both of you and Miss Possible in the highest regard!" the man responded. He moved back to his crew, ordering them to save what they could.
Ron glared at the man's back. 'This guy… he can really read people…' It did make sense, considering what his business was. It could also prove troublesome for the blonde teen. Did he notice how irritated Ron was? Was he able to guess the reason? No… if he had he would have said something, or would look more worried about him.
But if that man could notice something was different… did that mean Possible could see the same? Ron smirked to himself… No, she would never be able to tell, not until it was too late!
"Ron!" As if she could read his mind, Possible suddenly walked up to him.
"Did you find anything, Kim?" the teen asked.
"A few things… Maybe it's nothing, but-"
"Really? Like what?" Ron asked, had he messed up and left any clues?
"Well… for one thing, whoever is responsible for this really didn't like Hench all that much… I've tried to have Wade look over some things I found, but nothing points at anyone…" the redhead explained. Her Kimmunicator started going off.
"Go Wade, did you find anything?" Kim asked, she noticed the worried expression on the boy's face.
"Sadly, no… I didn't manage to find anything connected to any of our enemies, or Hench's clients… I'm actually calling to tell you about a villain attack"
"What? Who? Is it Shego?" the redheaded teen asked. She could use this as a way for her to vent, after what happened the last time they'd met. Or, was it another mission from her insane employer?
"No, it's not Shego this time…" the boy said, glancing at his screen. "You've already dealt with her before…"
"Her?" the redheaded teen asked, she was already feeling a bit worried.
…
The two teammates had returned to Middleton, having already given their short report to agent Du. They'd promised to stay in touch, letting Global justice know if they found out anything else concerning the case.
The young Possible pulled her boyfriend by the hand, both of them rapidly advancing to their next class.
The blonde boy didn't mind, this would give him the time he needed to formulate his next plan. If he could mask his feelings, and ignore his redheaded partner, it was better for him.
"Don't you find it weird?" the girl next to him asked.
'She's still talking?' He wanted to groan in annoyance, but that would be out of character for him. "What is?" the teen asked. It would be a pain if he had to explain why he didn't listen.
"The destruction at HenchCo, it came out of nowhere right after our mission. …and now this sudden attack from her, of all people…" the girl pointed out.
As much as he wanted to disagree with the redheaded teen, she did have a point. This attack had come at a very surprising time. While the normal idiots they'd dealt with in the past had always turned up randomly, this seemed… convenient, to say the least.
"Well… it does fit, and puts her close enough to where the attack on HenchCo was. Maybe she attacked Hench as revenge?" Ron suggested. If he could aim his 'girlfriend' at someone else, and take the heat off himself, he'd gladly take the chance!
"Maybe… you do have a point." The girl looked at his face with a big smile. "That's my Ron… so smart!" She instantly closed the distance, hugging his side before planting a big kiss on his cheek.
It took all of his willpower not to throw her away from him. Even if he did clench his eyes, anger burning brightly in them. "You know it" he responded between clenched teeth, a forced smile on his face.
"Now… I have a surprise for you… But, it'll have to wait until after school…" The worldwide heroine smirked and winked at the boy.
'What kind of-' Ron mused, before remembering the last surprise she'd had for him,
His face turned red at the thought. The last time she'd wanted to 'give' him something had really surprised his buffoon side. But that was to be expected from someone like her, that had finally got who she wanted to be with.
"Sure thing!" he answered quickly, making her smile.
The two teens finally entered the classroom, the teacher stopping at the interruption. "Ah, so you made it back… take your seats" the assistant principal instructed.
Ron sat down and glanced at the board, before simply looking around. Kim, who was seated next to him, pulled out her books. She glanced at him with a bit of red on her face, before looking away.
'She probably thinks I'm imagining doing that stuff with her…' While he did enjoy that kind of activity, he did have a big problem with the redhead in question. His eyes turned to the side, taking notice of a certain brunette who'd been staring at him. Finally noticing that she'd been seen, she quickly glanced away.
The futile action made Ron smirk, before he remembered something far more important. The blonde teen quickly lifted his hand, asking to be excused.
"Already?" It seemed that the older man wanted to add something, however he simply sighed and nodded his head. "Fine… just try to hurry back."
Ron rose up from his seat and walked out of the room, quickly heading to his locker. He had to make sure that everything was in order. Ron was obviously alone, as he'd left Rufus back home. The mole rat would only inform Kim, or get in his way… It was certainly more intelligent then many of the people he knew, and far more dangerous when he didn't keep an eye on it.
Arriving at his locker the blonde teen opened it, rummaging before finding what he needed. 'Excellent… still in good condition… Now, I just need to make sure I get the chance to use it' the blonde boy mused, before he sensed someone standing behind him. His instincts flared, quickly hiding the object he was holding under a spare uniform, he closed the locker.
"And what do you think you're doing?" the voice of the Queen B asked from behind him.
"Just checking something…" he replied, a bit of amusement in his tone.
"Liar! You're up to something…" the brunette accused, pointing at him.
"Mmm, I'm not sure I know what you mean… But, then again, I don't really care…" Ron was ready to head to class when he was held back.
"Do you think I'm going to just let you walk away from me?!" the girl shouted, looking furious.
"I don't see why not… it wasn't an issue before… Or, is it that you liked me calling you a bitch?" he goaded, watching as she played with something in her pocket.
"Do you think that you scared me, or something?" the girl asked, a tiny smile on her face.
"You did seemed pretty frightened, when I pushed you against the locker… Or, did you like it?" the blonde boy teased, noticing how her smile grew.
The girl suddenly pulled something out of her pocket. Very unsurprisingly, it was her phone. It seemed to be recording at the moment, and had been for some time.
"Well… look at that, the stupid little loser said just a little too much." She stared at him with a wide, toothy grin. "Now you're going to be a good little loser, and do what I say, or I will play this to-" Her words cut off upon spotting something in the blonde's hand.
Ron was now dangling Bonnie's phone in front of her, the girl glanced at her hand to confirm that he had in fact taken her device. She found, to her utter amazement, that it was gone from her grip. It had all happened so fast, she hadn't even noticed him move!
"Mmm… now what do I have here?" the blonde teen spoke to himself, approaching the girl. "I wonder how this little thing got in my hands." Ron hovered over the brunette, her body scooting backwards until her ass was pushed up against the locker.
"G-Give it back to me, L-Lose-" the girl stuttered weakly.
"That's not my name…" the boy reminded, staring into her eyes.
"R-Ron… give me my phone back…" she spoke, squirming under his steely gaze.
"Is that how you ask for something?", his grin made her glance at her feet. "I think you can do better then that."
…
The girl was quiet for a few moments, fidgeting in her spot. "P-Please… Ron… could you give me my… phone back, please?" Her eyes stared at him, a pleading look on her face.
An amused smirk sprouted upon Ron. "That wasn't so hard, now was it?" he patronized, slowly handing her back the small device.
The brunette girl grabbed the phone, her hand shaking, as if she expected him to yank it back out of her reach. She glanced at the screen, verifying that it was still recording. Her heart started beating faster as Ron moved close to her ear.
"Now… aren't you glad you followed me?" the blonde teen asked, watching her twitch. "It would be even better, if I were to bend you against my locker and fuck you silly"
Her eyes opened wide as she stared at his face, she looked more than a little shocked at his words. Ron couldn't stop his face from moving closer to her own, his lips just a breath away from hers.
"Now, wouldn't that be a nice sight to see… Little Bonnie, getting nailed by someone like me… for all the school to see…" Ron started snickering, moving a bit away from her. "Consider this a warning… next time you'll have to beg me…" His final message delivered, he moved away completely. Ron started walking back to class, he wouldn't put it past his darling little girlfriend to rush over to see where he was. 'All the more reason to move things along.'
…
The brunette girl was left alone, staring at the boy as he vanished down the hallway. Her legs finally gave out, she dropped to the floor with her back against the closed locker. Her heart was beating so loudly that she feared that it was going to burst right out of her chest. She glanced at her phone, seeing noting that it was still recording, she pressed the stop button.
"Did it…" she asked herself, pushing the play button and holding the device against her ear.
'It would be even better, if I were to bend you against my locker and fuck you silly…' The voice of the blonde teen sounded so clear, as if he was still next to her. Bonnie could also hear heavy breathing coming from the small device… it was her own.
Bonnie would need a few more minutes, before she even attempted to get up.

Classes were done for the day, both members of Team Possible on their way home from school. Ron hadn't gotten to see Bonnie again, the girl never coming back to class, not that he really cared all that much… Ron doubted that she'd do anything silly with that little recording he'd let her keep. He was still feeling good about the fear he'd seen on the Queen Bitch's face… a shame that he hadn't taken a picture of it.
"What's so funny, Ron?" his 'partner' asked, she'd apparently taken note of his amusement.
"Oh nothing… just remembered something. So, what's the plan?" the blonde deflected, hoping that she would leave him alone for the day, he still had some things to attend to.
"The plan," she smiled at him, "is to take care of my man. Until he can't think of anything else but me…" Her face turned almost as red as her hair.
It had really come as a surprise to his buffoon-side in the past. She'd dated a few other guys before him, but none of them had received more than a kiss on the cheek- if anything at all. Seeing how eager she was to try everything with him only showed how much he meant to her. "Well… how can I say no to that?" the young Stoppable replied, despite thinking the exact opposite.
The redhead hugged his arm, both continuing to walk towards her house… After all, her bed was bigger and more comfortable.
After a few more minutes the two entered the Possible home, looking around. The house was quiet, the first hint that her brothers weren't around. Ron could honestly see the potential of the twins, as inventors working for him. Even so young, they did so much already… They saw him as an older brother, even now. Maybe it was worth trying to recruit them, at some point.
"Hey, you two! Have a good day at school?" asked a manly voice.
Kim was the first one to greet the man, moving away from her boyfriend's side. "Hey Dad, are you the only one here?"
"Yes, I got off work early today so I could surprise your mother." The man took a short sip from his cup. "Don't tell her, okay? At least until I can mess it up", the older man laughed to himself. "So, how was your day Kimmi-cub?"
"It was fine… Had a short mission at the start, but we managed to finish it before our first class was over!" Kim responded with pride. She had always managed to balance school with her hobby, without either one taking over all of her time.
"That's my girl!" James exclaimed, smiling with pride at his daughter. "Now I won't keep you, but I do want to have a word with Ronald."
"Oh, okay" the redheaded teen answered, giving Ron's hand a squeeze. She told him she'd be waiting in her room.
The blonde teen was left alone with the man, James ensuring his daughter was out of the room before he focused on her boyfriend.
"So, Ronald, how are things going between you and Kimmy?"
Ron wanted to sneer at the elder's feigned interest, was he really about to try and have a father-boyfriend talk? With someone he'd known from a young age? The blonde teen recalled that none of her other boyfriends had ever gotten such talks from the man… he did seem far more approving of all of the others. But, never of Ron.
His buffoon-side had pondered it before, but simply waved it off as not being a big deal. Or, just claiming that it was because of how seriously Kim took him compared to anyone else. But now, with his mind clear of any buffoonery, he knew… James didn't approve of him being anything more than Kim's best friend. Based on both his achievements so far, as well as how he carried himself. 'But everything would be perfectly fine, if I was some pretty boy that acted all high and mighty that you didn't even know…' It was just another thing that had always annoyed him about the older man.
Not to mention being called Ronald, not Ron.
"They're great! I couldn't be happier!" Ron replied, even if he wanted nothing more than to punch the man.
"That's great to hear", he didn't look like it was. "I also wanted to talk to you about your future… Do you know what are you going to be doing after you graduate? I'm worried about who my girl is dating" he spoke, keeping his tone light.
'No, I'm not doing this' the blonde teen decided. "I haven't really considered it… When I think of something, I'll be sure to let you know…" Ron answered.
"Now Ronald… I think I deserve an answer, if I am to allow-" James began, before Ron cut him off.
"You don't deserve anything… For starters, it's not your decision. I don't have to give you any answers. Also, if you were to allow me…?" Ron shot back, a fun little idea popped into his head. "I think I'm just about done with this…" the blonde teen stated as he started to leave, heading for the door. His vision caught someone from the corner of his eye.
"Are you two done talking?" Kim asked, walking down the stairs. The girl looked very cheery.
"Yes, we are. …and so are we…" the blonde teen replied. He walked right past her, noticing her confused expression.
"What? Where are you going?" the redheaded teen asked, still failing to understand what he was saying.
"I just learned that I'm not wanted here, apparently I never was… So, I'm going to stay away" he explained, walking out the front door.
Strolling down the street had never felt so satisfying. Ron could only hope that that asshole would get in hot water, as that had been a long time coming. He knew this wouldn't last, Kim didn't care about ANYBODY as much as she did for him. She would call him, or come to him, with her answer. 'If anything… I can use this to throw her off…' he cackled to himself.
