Dolores finished with a twirl of her red skirt and a curtsy. She gave her tío a warm smile and he returned it. He was presented with a cluster of Queen Anne's Lace. Regulus, too, was given some and it helped continue the braided crown he was slowly forming on his head.

Let your canvas be blank

Regulus's lips quirked into a very faint smile as he fixed his gaze on the sheets of music. His mind was empty with all, but the chords that he was playing. No thoughts of his brother disappeared momentarily. There were no spirits of his parents staring not so subtly at him in disapproval. They would think that he was wasting his talents on some phoney royals. However, he thought that they embodied the role of royalty immaculately as they showcased the view and perception of royalty very well.

Bruno smiled as well. He could also clear his mind when doing visions. But more recently, it was to be an exercise to calm himself and process all of his anxieties. It helps him improve his mental state and how he gets through each and every day. He could better ignore the people who say horrible things to him and the other less-liked family members.

Just be frank

Even if others think that what you have to say is rank

The Latino man raised his hand to his mouth to stifle a deep, belly laugh. He was already those things, blunt and the bearer of much bad news on a regular basis. Essentially, she was saying, 'just be yourself' and that was warm and comforting even though the way she said it was quite humorous.

The Englishman was disappointed that Bruno had stifled his laugh. He'd wondered if he laughed as loudly as everyone claimed Latinos to be. He wanted to see and hear it. The one thing that he had learned was that they were kind and hospitable, and the small group around him were testament that they held their reputations up well.

Like sour milk we've drank

"Um, gross!" Bruno exclaimed. The girls giggled. Regulus had to glance at the man briefly. Since when? "Pepa had tricked me and ended up drinking it." Regulus hadn't had it since he was always served by House-elves and had gotten the best food. Yet, Sirius had been served spoiled milk more than a handful of times by Kreacher.

You're someone we'd all like to flank

This just showed how well Bruno was being treated now because he was smiling again. He thought of always being squished by his hermanas. Or between brothers-in-law or even being surrounded by his sobrinos like he was now, having them all in front of him.

Regulus looked down at the ever-growing group of girls sitting in a circle around the piano. It made him feel like they were acting like a buffer between him and the rest of the house.

We know at times that you have sank

Into a metaphorical one-hundred foot tank

An involuntary shiver made its way down Regulus' spine. He thought of his decades' old experience in a secluded lake. It was one of his darkest periods of his life and he subconsciously swallowed, hyper-aware of the thick scars that criss-crossed his throat and much of his body.

Bruno was taken back to all of the times that the villagers had deeply humiliated him and how it further ruined his reputation in the Encanto.

We think that people sometimes need a spank

An amused sticker escaped Bruno's lips as he imagined young Sofia spanking one of the residents of Encanto. Maybe, the guy who blamed him for the inevitable death of his wife from Cholera. He also felt awkward with the image of a young girl spanking a grown man.

Regulus shuddered at the thought of his parents and Death Eaters being smacked by her. At least, his parents were dead and Lord Voldemort was gone.

Or a decent prank

A wide grin made Bruno look years younger as he recalled the many pranks he's pulled on his sisters and sobrinos. He felt slightly sympathetic towards the people Camilo would pull pranks on. He'd inherited it from himself.

All Regulus could think of was Sirius. Pranks were an innate part of him and if the grin was to go by, those two would get along fairly well in that aspect.

For they haven't given you any genuine thanks

In these modern times, who thanks others anymore? Okay, well, the Disney Girls have thanked him profusely already. He is certain that since the beginning of working on this song, he's been thanked more times in his life.

People are more prone to thank him now that he has been seen for who he actually was. It's been awkward, but also nice at the same time. A warm feeling comes over him when people are being real.

We plead that tour staircase will have shrank

The staircase had grown significantly smaller over the past half of a decade. There were people to open up to and he felt an impressive improvement in his well-being as well as others around him.

When people have raised your rank

The flower crown in his hair made him feel as if that had happened. Though the people helping him make it is also a contributing factor. They treat him as though he is royalty, extra grace, extra respect, extra warm hospitality.

Regulus knew what it meant to have an elevated rank in social status. Unlike the people he grew up with, the Disney Girls were genuine in their actions and were not lying with their kindness to be elevated through their connections.
