The fourteen girls took their places in two neat rows with space between them as their large skirts filled it in when flowing around them. Bruno was mesmerised by the pretty shapes they made. They got ready to sing the chorus.

Doña Alma es la reina y Pedro es el rey

For this chorus, Bruno focused on how their voices sounded. He noted how they had a heavier quality to their voices to symbolise how heavy of a burden a role 'royalty' has. But there was a bit of nonchalance in it as well.

Julieta es la Real la Princesa y la Presunta Heredera, Pepa es una princesa, tú eres el Cornudo Príncipe

The heaviness grew on the next lyric as they listed the triplets and Bruno visibly hunched in on himself as if the voices were pressing down on him with the weight of his part of the Madrigal Family. He'd also grimaced at how much his sisters had to carry. Their mother didn't handle her trauma very well. That was a fact.

Augustín y Félix son Príncipe Consortes

Even the husbands had to deal with extra pressure of having been married into the family, but not getting any gifts. They could relate to Mirabel to an extent. Except that they weren't expected to get gifts, but she was.

Tu sobrinos son Señores

But his sobrinos had the same pressure as their mothers, being born into the family, all but Mirabel. However, her pressure was different in that she was neglected in some ways and they would someday lead the town upon Alma's departure. He was incredibly proud of what they'd accomplished.

Tu Mariposa es la Aparenta Heredera

There it was, Mirabel's responsibility that no one caught onto after the whole debacle happened. He was aware that he wasn't supposed to have favourites, but he couldn't help it. Even when she had been a toddler, Mirabel had sought him out the most and would've continued to do so if he'd stayed and everyone knew. There was a sadness to that lyric in that it could've been figured out and Mirabel could've felt that she was a part of the family and no pain could've been caused, but the past couldn't be changed, only the future.

Casita es el castillo

This line was fun and light. Casita was a warm and safe place to stay. Better yet, it could be someone's friend, interacting with the residents by fetching the items they wanted, playing catch with a tile, helping with transportation, and more.

Los agentes de Encanto son Súbditos Reales

And here are the royal subjects, the villagers. There's always a mixed bag of people. The ones that were kind, the ones that were in the middle, and the ones that weren't kind. The heaviness had crept back into their voices.

Y la Familia Madrigal sierve la Comunidad

The heaviness increased as they all had a role to play in ensuring that the people of the village were continuously happy. They never got a break in the heat of it all.

Como los Súbditos Reales

También quieren ingresar en la familia para el prestigio

That was one of the worst things that to ensure that the people were healthy, they had to be careful with whom they married, for their town was deeply isolated and inbreeding would be susceptible to occur because of it as well as young people were to be wed early too. Everyone also wanted to get a foothold within the Madrigal Family.
