Our Middle

Chapter 5

Peyton soon gathered herself together. And moved away from Brooke.

(I didn't mean too. She just kept saying things. Is she okay?) Peyton asked.

(Why shouldn't I beat you're ass. And deal with the consequences later?) Rachel asked.

Because truthfully she was fuming.

(Forget about her. We need to focus on Brooke.) Haley insisted.

Peyton managed to slip out of the cafeteria without anyone noticing her.

Haley was relieved when she felt a pulse and from what she could see.

Brooke wasn't as badly injured as they thought.

Rachel had managed to get the other students out of the way.

(We aren't wasting time calling 911 and waiting around.)

(She needs medical help now.) Rachel proclaimed.

(I know that's why we're leaving in my car.) Haley replied.

The two were grateful to see Brooke beginning to wake up on her own.

(Tigger. It's us. We have to get you up and to the hospital.) Haley explained.

(Peyton isn't around.) (Don't worry about her.) Rachel insisted.

(I'm not. I couldn't care less. The baby that's all I can about.) Brooke insisted.

(I need Lucas.) Brooke confessed.

...

Peyton plastered a smile. On her face as Lucas.

Met her in the hallway.

(I didn't mean to take you out of class.) Peyton explained.

(What's going on.?) Lucas asked.

(I'm pregnant. We're pregnant.) Peyton said. Putting his hand on her stomach.

Brooke and I weren't a couple. Peyton and I weren't a couple either.

Yet here I was having a baby with both of them.

This was going to be a long talk to have with my mom. Lucas thought to himself.
