Authors Note : Time jump wise this is going to be it until later on. Brooke did have the baby. And Peyton will be giving birth in a few weeks.

I love my son. And by extension I love Brooke and Peyton. But they haven't lived their lives figured out who they are where they are headed and yet they are to be responsible for two babies? It's just I did the right thing. I wish I had someone to guide me back then. Karen thought to herself. As she finished up at the cafe for the night.
Brooke was awaiting Lucas and their daughter. She was back in her hospital room.
She would go searching for them herself but her body was too weak.
Lucas soon entered the room and in his arms was their daughter.
Brooke breathed a sigh of relief. At the sight of them.
(What happened?) Brooke asked.
Lucas carefully handed their daughter to Brooke.
(Your parents attempted to take her. Saying that they were better equipped to handle it.)
(They said you are on you're own Brooke. They aren't supporting you anymore.) Lucas explained.
