Machine: Clank, Cyrax, Dark Samus, Megatron, Mighty Gazelle, Monty Gator, Rocket Raccoon, Sektor, Silver Sonic

Eighteen have come to play but one will get cut at the start. WHO will be voted out first?

Man

Day 1

Brandon, Chun-Li, Daisy, Drax, Porky, Nabbit, Rick, Sackboy, and Ulala

The nine arrive at camp for the first time. Rick's got the map in his hands this time, while the former holder looks to motivate her team.

"Don't let them get to you. They're in over their heads." she says, but that doesn't stop the frustration for coming out of Drax. "Nobody talks down to my tribemates. Especially the big one. His ego is outrageous…"

"We don't have to worry about him yet." Chun responds. "I'd rather we build our camp first."

"Agreed. We don't need to be toxic one day in, even if we're frustrated." Rick adds.

"…I will compromise." Drax says, and with that the nine split up into groups for some camp work. A few others voice their displeasure of remarks in confession.

Daisy: These guys and their big egos are crazy! Will they ever realize they're in the wrong here?

Cut to Chun's confession.

Chun-Li: People come here to win money and have fun. No burden on the other team, or those on mine will stop me from enjoying my time.

The two women who just got confessionals share a scene. They're doing heavy work carrying around firewood. It's like no sweat to Chun, who's got a pile on both arms.

So what exactly's going on here?

"Doing the same thing every year burns me out. Baseball, soccer, even the Olympics can't satisfy me anymore." Daisy admits. "This is at least something new!"

"After this is all done there are friendly tournaments you can enter." We see you, Chun. "It will take time to learn but you seem like the type who enjoys that."

"Where's the fun in coasting to a win? Earning it feels so much better." Daisy responds. "Speaking of…you got any spots open?"

Chun chuckles. "You'll need to train first."

"Okay, when can we get started?"

"..You want ME to train you?"

"Just look at you, you're the strongest person on our team!" Daisy points out. "You're clear Trainer material."

"I appreciate your sentiment."

Chun-Li: I see my younger self in Daisy. Motivated, passionate, ready to take on any challenge in front of her. That's not just someone I can work with, but someone I can relate to.

That's one relationship on its way to grow, but not the only one. Elsewhere, Rick and Drax got bamboo and are having a nice walk across the shore.

"I cut through beast from within. It was one of the greatest moments of my life." Coming from Drax, this isn't surprising. "I hope that one day YOU get to experience the glory that comes with it."

"Trust me man, I've had enough glory in my life." Rick responds.

"What was your moment?"

The officer spills. "Me and my friend Hatchet escaping from cannibals." Drax gasps. "The trauma must be incredibly painful for you." Rick just shrugs. "It was more painful for them."

Oh Terminus…what a shocking arc you were.

"I'm glad they didn't eat you."

"Me too, man. Me too."

Rick: Drax doesn't have a filter on him. He could blow up whenever, but I'll make him feel at home. Nobody's going to be alienated here.

"If you were able to beat cannibals, that makes you the greatest warrior in your group." Drax responds.

"We were all warriors." At least he remembers everyone.

From a distance, the two are being watched…by one scheming Porky Munch.

"Unacceptable…"

Porky: Drax is a strong body with weak brains. How these people aren't throwing him under yet after that outburst is beyond me…

The Earthbound villian gets moving, hitting up Brandon first. The twenty-three year old farmer gives him the time of day and listens.

"You know Drax right?" Porky asks.

"..it's hard NOT to notice him." The farmer responds.

"Well I'm about to make the smartest move yet. By taking out Drax, we'll lose a loose cannon…and maybe get with the machines down the road, because these people aren't worth it." Porky really lambasting his own team.

"I don't mind the first part of that."

"That's the only part you gotta approve, ok?"

"I just did…"

Porky: Brandon's the only other smartest person here. And Nabbit if he sees it. If Drax isn't removed immediately, then this team is hopeless!

Cut to Brandon's confessional.

Brandon: I'm not a Drax guy either, but he and Chun are the strongest we have. Just LOOK at the Machines mate, are you trying to kill us?

Porky hits up Nabbit next, who's sitting down with a comically large bag next to him.

"Here's my plan: You, me, Brandon, and two more. That's five and we can take this team over!" Porky explains, but that rabbit has little reaction. "…ok."

"If that's not enough, just remember that the smaller people never win." Ok Porky, let's not get political here. "It's the simplest way we can win."

"Sounds good."

"It does? Cool. You should get to work on Sackboy. I'll get to work on Ulala…she'll be too stupid to see what's coming anyway, am I right?" Pork asks with a laugh. Nabbit just fakes a snicker. "Hehe, hilarious."

Nabbit: He has less honor than thieves do. I could steal and he'll still leave before I do.

He pulls out a crown from his bag. Wow…at least Wario waited.

Cut to Porky's confession.

Porky: I'm the next Shane Walsh…no actually I'm better! Anger issues won't get in my way!

Oh yeah, totally. Right?

Porky believes that Brandon and Nabbit are up to take power. One problem.

"I don't trust him at all." Brandon states, reading the rabbit's mind. "He came at me with 'small people never win.' Get out of here with that!"

"What a scumbag."

"Did you hear what he said about Ulala? Said she was stupid. They've never talked once." Nabbit points out, and that farmer from Ireland takes a deep breathe. "Breathe Brandon. Breath.."

Brandon: Pork's bitten off more than he can chew. When Shane built his army he treated them with respect. It's clear Porky's got none. If he goes first, he's got no sympathy from me.

Safe to say, Porky's gameplays been leaked already. That's what happens when you think you're smarter than everyone. Brandon takes this information directly to Ulala herself. "He said WHAT?"

Doesn't seem like she's a fan.

"Guys a snob. It's time we teach him a lesson. What do you think?" The young Irishman asks, and she doesn't hesitate. "I'm so sick of him. Let's send him packing."

"We're on the same wavelength."

In her confession Ulala's still upset about the situation.

Ulala: Porky's gotta have a LOT of ego to think he can just throw five people together, with some stupid masterplan. Who does this guy think he is? The Godfather? Cause he's nowhere close.

Machine

Day 1

Clank, Cyrax, Dark Samus, Megatron, Mighty Gazelle, Monty Gator, Rocket, Sektor, and Silver Sonic

The nine Machines arrive at camp, Cyrax with the map. Before they split up at all, Megatron speaks up.

"It's efficient if we all stick together for now." he says. "It will make us stronger in the long run."

"I don't see a downside." Sektor admits.

"Their team can't stack up!" Monty exclaims. "The strongest guy they got's a loose cannon."

Nobody objects this plan at the start. Megatron does go in depth about his plan though.

Megatron: As machines, we should already be on top of the strategy. Power alone can't eliminate half our cast. If I'm opposed from the inside, then I'll already have a core built. Just you wait.

The Decepticon carries a massive load of firewood like he's a bodybuilder. To his right, is none other than Sektor, who also has a mission to do.

"We think alike on the other teams extinction. That makes me want to go further with you." Megatron admits. "But we can't thrive off the two of us alone."

"What you're getting at is clear to me. There is power in the numbers game." Sektor responds.

"You and the Golden robot are the same model. Do you think we can get him to join us?" Megatron asks.

"From the little talk we had, he's up to it. Monty agreed with the plan as well. All we need is one more to hold majority." The redbot replies. "Any ideas?"

"The dark soldier is silent but could be deadly. That's not someone we'll want against us, based off first impressions alone." Megatron says.

"Time will tell if the people we choose are loyal."

Sektor: Neither of us are taking this slow. Why should we take it slow, when we need to be ahead every step of the way? By slowing down you are waiting for someone else to take your place at the top.

Elsewhere in Borneo, Rocket and Clank are carrying bamboo back to help set up a bed. Anything's better than sleeping in the dirt. Megatron's immediate pitch to the tribe had no objections, but the quickness comes up in their conversation.

"I wasn't the only one weirded out right?" Rocket asks. "Cause this guy's sketchy."

"My eyes aren't only on him, Rocket. Sektor and Monty supported his idea. If they think alike, an alliance is obvious." Clank explains.

"I'm all for camaraderie but we JUST got here and the whole teams an alliance." Rocket points out.

"He's already accelerated the pace early, which means everyone will be looking for alliances." Clank says. "We'll be ahead strategically, but nobody will be able to connect."

"If the mat chat told us anything, the social game won't exist."

Clank: Megatron's plan is questionable at best. If you're this brutal, how are you going to win a jury? It makes no sense to me.

Clank shakes his metal head. "The quick approach doesn't work long term..but we have to play by their rules to get by."

"There'll be ten alliances by tomorrow. We'll be in five of 'em."

Rocket: You'd think we'd at least take each other out to dinner first, but Megaturd throws that outta the window. These people are gonna play hard, and I bet there's already an alliance I don't know about.

Does he know?

Meanwhile, Gazelle and Cyrax carry logs by themselves. The Cyber Lin Kuei are spreading themselves out. But there's no game talk shockingly.

Instead, Gazelle's spilling some of his background to the clan member…specifically of his time in F-Zero.

"I used to be a pilot, but after that? There was no career to go to. Nobody trusted a cyborg to run vehicles anyway…but I proved 'em wrong and entered the Grand Prix myself." Gazelle explains.

"I understand the loss of a body. Luckily you turned the worst moment of your life into a positive one." Cyrax compliments. "Did they ever convince you to stop competing?"

"Never. I had my foot on the gas before, and i'll keep it on until the day I die." Nice mindset from the Red Gazelle pilot.

"Hm. Being able to track your speed and others around you, while going that fast must be a great skill to have."

"You're making me blush."

Gazelle: I'll never stop F-Zero no matter how much they tell me to quit. What happened in that freak accident was tragic. It was. But coming back for more just shows 'em how much I LOVE this!

Cut to Cyrax's confessional.

Cyrax: Before coming to Borneo, it was mission after mission. We are on a mission right now, Sektor's breathing down my neck as we speak…but mission aside, I can relate to Gazelle. We both lost our bodies because of events that shouldn't have happened. Speaking with him is a nice change from the serious nature back "home."

Before they can go on, the F-Zero vet spots Sektor approaching. "Am I interrupting?" he asks.

"We're just shooting the sh*t. What's up?" Gazelle asks back, but Sektor…doesn't even look him in the eyes. "Do either of you want to go to the well with me?" he asks, and Cyrax gets to his feet. "Don't exhaust yourself, I will go." he says to the pilot, nodding back.

"I understand. Good luck you two." he says, and the two Lin Kuei walk off. Sektor looked right past him though.

Gazelle: I know exactly what this guys doing. You're not even going to LOOK at me? How obvious are you?

When the two Cybers get far enough, Sektor brings Megatron's plan to his number one. Cyrax..is less than enthused. "He's sporadic. How can we trust someone who essentially has two alliances already?"

"It may be the only offer we can get. Denying him will only put a target on our backs." Sektor argues. "Let's not be rash about this."

"You know why I'm apprehensive." Cyrax hits back.

"If we want to take this money back to our clan, we need something." Sektor responds, not going to budge on his end.

"My you are stubborn."

"It has its benefits."

Cyrax: I'm only in this to protect myself and Sektor. I'll be on the fence forever about Megatron. Gazelle is already more trustworthy than he is from one conversation. Game isn't on his mind yet.

Ok. A lot of game already going down on the Machines tribe, but first let's tackle the Man tribe. Chun-Li and Daisy are hitting it off, Rick's trying to include Drax, and Porky's looking to make a big move already on one of the galaxy's guardians…and it's not working out cause one small remark has been spread to Ulala, who definitely won't stay quiet on this one. With challenge strength being a must at the beginning of the game, will Drax blow up his spot? Or will Porky get caught and contained? You may find out soon.

As for the Machines side of the island, Megatron's already recruiting Sektor, Cyrax, Monty, and Dark Samus. However, Rocket, Clank, and now Gazelle are getting suspicious and might already know that this plan is going down. Silver Sonic on the other hand, hasn't been looped in at all yet. Those "Metal Sonic 2.0" allegations are hitting deep, and we'll dive into that next chapter.
