As the Boiling Isles is shrouded in darkness and people have gone into hiding, leaving those who can defend themselves go off against the Night Creatures, who've marked much of their territory around the Titan's Corpse, there are those who have found this invasion quite beneficial, as at Blight Industries, the Isles most popular Company for Security and Weaponry, business has been rising up in sales on inventions specialized in defenses for territory. Blight Industries very own Odalia Blight find this to be the best thing that ever happened to her and her business.

She was a woman with a curvaceous build contrasted by the sharp features in her face, her mint green hair in a bun, lighter green on the top layer and darker on the bottom layer, much like her eldest children, but with lighter streaks across the top, and she usually wears wears a violet blouse with a white petticoat that has a triple interlocking orb pattern, navy pants, and gray heeled boots, and she accessorizes with a necklace with a pink, oval gem that matches the one Amity used to wear, purple lipstick, and golden earrings.

She had found the Invasion of the Night Creatures beneficial because it allowed her to sell a lot more products to wealthy investors and anyone else desperate for protection. Of course, this also meant working her husband, Alador, twice as fast to keep up with sales and inventing newer products. As of now, they getting one of their newest inventions ready for one of their annual private, which she found fortunate enough to still be able to do. Their experimentation in Abominations was the main flux of their company and how they work with the material got to more industrial than when the originally started.

"What's the status on the prototype?" She asked her husband, who was tinkering on a huge mech of an Abomination...or at the very least what looked like an Abomination with armor plating strapped around its body. When it came to this sort of stuff, Alador was considered to be the greatest abomination creator of the era, but even he had his limits in what he can work with.

"Just about done." He responded. "And ready for the presentation tomorrow."

"Yes...about that, we're going to have to reschedule." Odalia said.

"Why is that?"

"The expectations of our company are growing. People are growing more desperate for their protection and are looking towards us to help them achieve." She explains as she gestures to the Abomaton. "They are expecting these things to go against creatures that were literally hooked up from the guts of Hell. Creatures that can use magic all on their own We can no longer simply put on a show. We need our products to be exceptional."

Alador looked at his own creation and replied "Well, if improvements are to be made, then the rescheduled event should take place in about...several weeks?"

"You get a SINGLE week, Dear." Odalia immediately replied, but before Alador could say anything back, his wife stopped him and continue "Now before you panic, I have taken the liberty into making your work easier."

She then brings out a scroll and unravels to show the blueprints for an entirely improved Abomaton soldier. Alador looked at the prints with awe, as he never thought of making these sort of ideas into his creations, and they would work perfectly...perhaps too perfectly. Looking through the blueprints another few times, he carefully saw through the advanced weaponry, mobility and intelligence it would be fitted with to make it the most powerful sentient weapon his company had ever developed. There were even some things he wasn't sure that they had at their disposal at the moment.

"Now, you need not worry about materials. I've managed to get a hold of what we needed for the upgraded model. Trust me, when this is finished, it will work to its maximum potential."

Alador continued to think about it, and was worried he might even do too good of a job of integrating all this into product. Not only that, he then asks "What about how we were going to demonstrate this machine of ours? Don't get me wrong, this would be the greatest creation we ever developed, and it would make us a fortune. But if what you say is true, and we successfully put all this into the Abomaton, and show it the rest of the Isles with the demonstration we had planned...Well, I'd be lying if I said I was worried about our daughter's safety.

Originally, once the beta model was completely, they would have done demonstration of its prowess in combat with their own daughter, Amity, as their little tester. It would've been just a show to make their creation look good enough to buy. But this would be the real deal and they may accidentally be putting their daughter in danger if they were to put her against their own creation. Odalia would not have been worried the first time, as her daughter would've pulled through for the sake of the company. But she knew her husband was right; they needed a different plan. And that is when the Matriarch of the Blight Family smiled mischievously.

"Oh, I already have an alternative planned." She said. "Just get to work on the improvements and I'll take care of the rest." She began to walk away while saying "Trust me, dear husband...this will work out beautifully for all of us."

Alador knew that his wife wasn't the best of character, and that's putting it very mildly. Most of the time, however, she was clear of her intentions. Whatever she had planned, he hoped she was being honest with him. But as he got back to work, he failed to notice that Odalia pulled something out. A mask, a pale white Victorian ballroom mask featuring a prominently rounded forehead and ending in a thin, pointy chin, displaying an ominous evil smirk on its face. There was tree branch running down the left side of its temple, Where the right eye should be, there was just a gaping hole while the left eye, looking to be scowling, was cracked below it, looking like the eye was crying. Odalia found the mask a few months ago, sometime even before the Belmont arrived to the Demon Realm. When she had taken it, it was as if a vast force had entered, expanding her knowledge of the mystic arts and science until it reached heights she never could've imagined. That knowledge came in handy when the Boiling Isles became a place of darkness and caused her company to grow. Whatever the case with the "seemingly small trinket" that she thought it was, even she had to admit that she never felt power and wisdom like this before...and she only desired more.

Little did she know the true significance of the mask, and the terrible force that laid within it...

"Only after did we return dealing with the Revenant of Grant Danasty, did things start to get interesting back at the house." Luz wrote as she glanced over to Eda and her now vampiric sister. "Lilith Clawthorne had made a miraculous return from the dead, standing before us, reborn, a vampire. And what was most surprising to me was that she was able to utilize the abilities of Glyph Magic from the Order of the Ecclesia, an ancient and 'buried' organization, originally meant to be like the Brotherhood of Light, but fell into Darkness when their leader had corrupted himself in a all-for-nothing attempt to revive Dracula. Ecclesia's greatest living weapon, Shanoa, was able to unlock the secrets of her organization and bring forth new powers with the glyphs tattooed around her body. Lilith is almost a spitting image now of how Shanoa once looked, but her newfound abilities can be proven to be quite dangerous, even to herself."

Luz quickly tilted her head to right without even seeing the fireball she just dodged. Eda and Lilith were at each other's throats with how they were facing each other's magic abilities. King and Hooty tried to get themselves out of the way with King hiding behind Luz as she continued to write.

"The relationship between the Clawthorne Sisters has stayed about the same, it seems. The moment Eda saw Lilith in her own house, she nearly lost it. And Lilith, no longer her old self, surprising indulged Eda in her reckless behavior. It was obvious, that due to her new biology and powers, and the fact that the darkening smog continued covering the Boiling Isles, Lilith had little control over herself. She needed guidance, which both I and Eda can provide...assuming I could ever pry the two off of each other."

Then the house shook with a big flash on the inside. When it was over, the sisters were covered in a whole bunch of bruises and burn marks, breathing heavily while still taking a stance against each other.

"...Want to call it a tie? Dear Sister?" Lilith asked. But Eda, stubborn as she was, said "Not...by a longshot. Next time...you're going down."

Clapping her book close, Luz got up from the couch and said "Okay, enough. Eda, if Lilith is going to be staying here, then you can't keep doing this. You're going to have to help her."

"She is NOT staying here!" Eda yelled out. "It was bad enough when she went all 'Emperor's Bitch' on us, getting me captured and you nearly killed in the process! But now look where that got her! You're really gonna allow the very think your family specializes in slaying to just come by and make herself at home?!"

"I'm not exactly overjoyed myself about the accommodations either, sister!" Lilith yelled back. "But I wouldn't be here if I did not require your assistance!"

"I could see being undead hasn't taken away your ability of talking fancy. But you want MY help?! I've spent my life covering for you, and for what? You wasted yours following a madman like a blind fool and got stuck like a pig by Zobek!" The younger sister silently growled like a beast, but in her mind, she felt nothing guilt. Belos promised her so much, and it was all a lie, a ruse to finally off her sister and apparently her when she outlived her usefulness. It never left her mind, that horrid memory. And to be stuck like this, it only made the pain match, inside and outside.

"Wait, what?!" Luz asked, that last part getting her full attention. "I was aware that you wouldn't talk about it, but it never occurred to you that it would've been important to hear that Zobek was the one who did her in?!"

"I'm sorry, Luz." Eda said calmly. "Must've slipped my mind, knowing it all happened so fast and the fact that I was about to PETRIFIED at the time!" That last part she screamed in Lilith's face.

"ALRIGHT!" Luz yelled out before facing her own mentor. "Eda, as a vampire, Lilith is not in the right state of mind. She will require blood as sustenance and proper training of her new abilities and magic. Only we can safely provide that for her and ensure that she could be a trusted ally."

But Eda, stubborn as she was, crossed her arms and said back "Give me a good reason as to why I should."

"Because...Zobek brought her back to life for a reason of his own. It'd be better for everyone if she were kept here where she'd be safe. Not to mention, if she were to go out on her own, she'd go on a feeding frenzy and use her powers destructively."

Such thoughts made Lilith worried for herself. She was considered one of the greatest of witches that was an inspiration for others who desired the best opportunities granted to them by the Emperor's Coven. Now, she was reduced to a monster who couldn't even control her own urges for power. Had it not hurt already, it would've pained her to see how she has reached a critical low in her life as she looked down at her hands with sharp nails.

"And besides...you and I both know what it's like to be cursed." Luz growled at Eda, catching her off guard. And Eda considered that to be a low blow. Were it not for the fact that she had people who helped her with her curse so that she had mastery over the beast and with the capabilities of still using magic, she would've been captured or killed a long time ago. It was clear to her now that she was in the position as her own benefactors, able to help her sister with her own curse. Seeing that Luz was right, she gave out a sigh.

"Those were three good reasons, but okay..." she said.

And that is when Hooty came through the door with a piece of paper in his mouth.

"Heya, Luz! Your Hexside pals sent a message for you! Hoot hoot!"

Dropping the semi-soggy letter into Luz's hands, she unravels it and reads it to herself carefully before rolling it up and putting it away.

"I have somewhere to be right now. Gus and Willow need my help with something important." She said as she motions the sisters. "So either you two work together and improve upon each other's skills, or we'll just continue this discussion later." As she gets herself ready to leave, she turns to her little demon friend who was still cowering on the couch. "King, make sure this place is still standing by the time I get back."

"Yeah, you can count on me Luz!" King said anxiously as Luz left, slamming the door on her way out. King was left along with Eda and Lilith glaring at each other, looking ready to continue their brawl and King wasn't exactly sure what to do here. "Yeah...this place is gonna be destroyed."

The letter that Luz had gotten had told her to meet Gus and Willow in front of the school. Since the breakout of the Night Creatures, the Semester at Hexside has been canceled for the safety of the students and staff. Yet there still seems to be some activity going on inside, according to Gus, who was looking into. Making her way to the steps, Luz could see her two friends right by the entrance, looking very serious about something.

"Gus, Willow..." She greeted them. "What has happened?"

"We got some bad news, Luz." Gus says as he pulls out a flier and gave it to Luz. She looked at with a bit of shock as she saw that it was wanted pictures of her two best friends. Yet, they never did anything besides...getting associated with her.

"You two have a bounty?"

"It's most recent." Willow replies. "Someone is attempting to scare us with this, so that they could use us to get to you."

Luz then asked "Well, how did you figure that out."

"Because Amity's the one who brought us up on it." Gus answered. "She contacted us a few days ago, saying that she couldn't leave her home, that her parents were keeping her and siblings busy with their own kind of academic work. But she hasn't stopped at her own training in combat and Devil Forging."

Luz nodded, listening with her curiosity peaking at what Amity has been up to. She had hoped that leg wound of hers also healed up nicely.

"And her family has been selling people 'hope' in a ways. Methods of securing their through Abomination-based devices and weaponry." Willow continued.

"You guys have technology here?" Luz asked.

"More or less." Gus said. "Blight Industries, Amity's Family's Company, is the main producer in and experimenters in the stuff. Strangely enough, her dad's not Coven Head though."

"Amity believes that her family may have been the ones to put up the bounty on us."

"Why would they do that?"

Willow answered hesitantly "...See, Amity's mother, Odalia, she's often wanted her daughter to make the best choices in life..."

"And by the best, I'm guessing you mean the choices she decides are the best."

"Yep." Willow said. "Like cutting me off and turning into a huge jerk. If it weren't for you, we never would've regained our friendship."

"And that's why Amity believes her mother put up the bounty." Gus followed. "Odalia may have found out about Amity being affiliated with us, especially you."

"She wants Amity to stay away from bad influences, and because you're 'The Great Belmont'..."

"That makes me the worse." Luz finished. "Okay...this woman has obviously reached new low that doesn't count by her standards. We should see Amity about this."

Gus replied "That's...easier said than done, Luz. Blight Manor has been fortified ever since the beginning of the outbreak."

"Amity's only ever been able to contact us a few times. Just to let us know that she's okay." Willow continued. "But even with our training, we can't even get close, let alone get pass their security."

"Maybe you guys can't...but I'm going to assume Odalia would be willing to have a talk with me. Afterall, she wouldn't be doing this if it weren't for me."

"I'm not sure about that, Luz." Willow said. "Amity's mother is also CEO of her family's company, she's smart and knows how to get what she wants."

"And no doubt what she wants right now is for you to come to her." Gus added.

"Yeah. Well, better than you two having to deal with more than just Night Creatures biting at your heels." Luz said as she begins to walk away. "Let's head to Blight Manor and talk with the woman."

Although hesitant, Gus and Willow went along with Luz's 'plan' and headed to Amity's home.

"This is gonna be a disaster, isn't it?" Gus asked. To which Willow replied "When is it not?"

Speaking of whom, Amity was practicing her sword in play in a training room built by her father. Since she wasn't allowed to leave the house during this time, her parents kept her busy by having her study and continuing her practices in Devil Forging. The leg wound she suffered left it a bit stiff, but at least it healed properly. Yet she hadn't seen any of her friends for what felt like months, and she wished to know what was going on with Luz, Willow and Gus. She was lucky to have stayed in contact with them, but upon hearing that Luz barely survived fighting against Belos left her shocked and made her isolated herself from the rest of her family.

"...Dad." She said without turning around, but knowing Alador was at the door. "What did I say about touching the swords?"

Don't ask how, but Amity did managed to get her hands a few more weapons before the Isles went to heck. And her father's been left curious by the elemental properties that some of the weapons distributed.

"S-Sorry, Amity...but these weapons are unlike anything I've seen." He stated. "If you could just let me study them, perhaps I can reverse engineer the magical properties within them and even retrofit them into some of my-"

But Amity pointed her sword to her father and said "Never in a million years will I allow you to do that, dad. Just. Drop it."

"...Okay...Sorry, dear." And with that, the Blight Patriarch headed back upstairs. His relationship with his children was strained at best, and he's been meaning to fix it, but...work keeps him busy. And Amity loved her father, but she knew things are not the same as they used to be as she melancholically jabs her sword into another target. All she wants to see her friends right now, but that does not seem possible...yet.

Back at the Owl House, Eda and Lilith weren't exactly improving on working together. While Lilith decided to take up the company of Hooty, displaying her own 'natural' control over the glyphs of Ecclesia, Eda was readying about them in one of Luz's journals. What irked her a bit was that she wasn't able to access the power as Lilith is able to now, and it left her curious.

"Bile sacs have different spell phlegm sloshing around together." She explained. "That's how witches are normally able to cast spell circles and do a lot of other forms of magics. We have glyphs of our own, but their minimal, rare and work differently from the ones tattooed around Lilith's body."

"Is that why you're not able to do what she can do?" King asked, pointing to Lilith outside, where she was having a little bit of fun with the ice glyph magic that she demonstrated before.

"I think someone must've tampered with her natural magical abilities that are included in her bile sac. That someone being obviously being Zobek for when he turned her into a vampire."

"But why?"

Eda replied as she tapped the page in the book "According to Luz's journal, some demons are able to use glyphs too, that it's power originated from the Night Creature. Ecclesia, at the end of its age, was developing a greater, much more glyph, that is said to kill even its user upon activation. If Lilith has access to that, given her current condition, it wouldn't destroy her, only leave her weakened. And it would only take moments before she can recover and access it again."

Even King was a little surprised at this as he listened carefully and took some glances to outside the house.

"I'm willing to bet...Zobek ressurrected Lilith so that she can be a living weapon of mass destruction for the Creatures of the Night." Eda finished

"And the more power she discovers, the more that's bound to happen." King said.

The two then heard thunder and lightning being struck outside the house as they turn to see Lilith demonstrating a lightning glyph, Vol Fulgur, which she uses to carve a statue in the likeness of Hooty as a swan. The house demon enjoying that very much.

"Whoahahaha! I bet even Eda couldn't do that! Wow!" Hooty let out, and Eda's eye twitched.

"I want to take offense to that..." She said before sighing. "But...Luz was right. Lilith's power is only gonna keep on growing and she'll get corrupted by if we don't help her to control it."

"But how?" King asked. "She's got access to it and you don't."

"Victor once gave me a basic understanding of the glyphs and how counteract with them. If I can just match Lilith's level of power..." She then brings out her own combat cross. "...or bring her down to mine, we'll be good."

"But Eda, she's getting more powerful now. Maybe even more powerful than you!"

Eda fought back twitching again. "Try to have faith, King. I'd rather be killed by Luz if we mess up the house than get almost killed by my own sister, again."

And with that, the Owl Lady headed outside to confront her undead flesh and blood, leaving King not feeling comfortable about all this.

"This is gonna be a disaster..."

Meanwhile, the trio were making their way to Blight Manor, keeping themselves armed since its dangerous outside. But even at the pace they were going, they made excellent time as they were that far away from the residence.

"By the time I'm in there, if things get rough, I want you guys to lay low and contact anybody to help out." Luz said to her friends. "I don't know how this is gonna go in there, but I will get that bounty off your back."

"Just be careful, Luz." Willow replied. "Remember, Amity's parents are considered to be of high society with their company and all. I don't think they'd really be willing to listen to you unless it benefits them in some way."

"Oh wow. What else is new?" Luz said while rolling her eyes and then continued to Blight Manor. Just outside, she walks up the steps and knocks...then hears the sound of many locks on the door beinh undone. However, the one to greet her was an Abomination Butler, who grunts and leads Luz into the living room while holding a tray with teacup and teapot on it. Luz looks around, admiring a bit of the home of one of her friends.

"Nice place." She said as abomination butler offers Luz some tea. But she waves him off as she says "I'm good, thanks. You mind pointing me to where the Blights are?"

The butler nodded and pointed to the door the headed down to the basement. Luz headed down there and almost immediately dodged what looked to be crystalized Abomination Ooze. Standing before her was Odalia looking over as her husband works, to which the latter of the two ripped something out of whatever he was working on, yet neither of them have noticed Luz right behind them.

"Looking good so far, hon!" Odalia said. "Didn't I tell you the improvements would be a necessity?"

"I'll admit they fit and function very well." Alador grunted. "But don't you think they seem a little too le-"

"AHEM."

Both turned around and were shocked to see Luz in their home; Alador even did a double-take, knocking some things down as he stumbled to stay up.

"The Belmont..." He whimpered, but Odalia was not as phased as he was, keeping her posture as greeted the young warrior.

"Ms. Belmont...I've been expecting you." She said as Luz replied. "I bet you have...I've come to talk to you about a certain predicament regarding me and...my allies."

"Is that so?"

"It's come to my attention that an unnecessary bounty has been placed on my friends. Augustus Porter and Willow Park. Do those names sound familiar?"

Odalia then replied "Ah, yes. Certain students from Hexside my daughter had been affiliated with, yet without us knowing. It's not that I have a quarrel with them, yet I am very protective of my family its reputation. You would know about that, I believe."

"So you admit to placing the bounty on their heads?" Luz said back. "I know Gus and Willow are not threats to you or your family. I have a feeling you did it for another reason.

"It's because I knew they were allied...with you." Odalia confessed. "I simply needed your attention because there is something I needed your assistance with. We have a rather important presentation tonight showing off some new products."

Luz turns her heard over to see for herself what these new products were. The newer Abomaton robots had greater armor pieces fitted into its person, and visible gears at and arounds its limbs.

"Normally Amity helps us with these things, but she's busy at the moment."

"But I thought you said-" Alador began to say before Odalia covered his mouth.

"So how about it, Ms. Belmont? You help us with our little project and we remove the Bounty from your little friends. You need not worry about any sense of betrayal, for a Blight always upholds their end of the deal."

"Why do I feel like I've heard this before?" Luz asked herself before it came to her. "...Oh yeah, that's why. I'm afraid we're gonna have to find substantial solution to this, but I refuse to be anyone testing dummy."

"Mmm..." went Odalia, nodding. "I would've liked to have worked out this deal with you, Ms. Belmont. Shame you couldn't go along with it willingly."

And before she could react, Luz felt something sting her in the neck and she went limp on the ground losing consciousness.

Some time later, Luz finds herself waking up and is a bit drowsy, but she could swear that she's hearing cheering going on around her. Getting her head on straight, Luz finds herself in some kind of arena, where an audience filled the place and a booming voice belonging to Odalia came from above.

"So nice to have you join us, Ms. Belmont." Odalia said through a microphone. "We have a long night ahead as we welcome you back to Blight Industries."

The crowd cheers and Luz realizes that she's the centerpiece of the presentation. She reached for her whip, only to find out it wasn't on her person, neither were any of her sub-weapons.

"I'm afraid you won't be needing any those trinkets of yours. Ms. Belmont." Odalia flaunted the Morning Star in her hands as Alador then says "As you all know, we make a variety of abomination-based accessories for home security. But we specialize in weaponry, as we bring to you a glimpse of our crowning achievement..."

"The Abomoton Soldier!" Odalia finished as coming from out of the ground where the mechanized Abominations Luz saw at the Manor. Each of them were fitted with various forms of weapons, sharp, blunt, shooting, and all deadly. "We guarantee that it will defend you against any unwanted visitors! And of course, take on the greatest of threats, like the Great Belmont! Now let's see what it can do!"

Seeing the mechs take stances against her, Luz took a deep breath, cracked her neck before charging in. The Abomatons swung at her with their 'arms', but Luz dodged swiftly, flipping and moving under every one of them as she was on the other side of the arena and the Blight Creations went after. Without her whip, she had no real way to defend herself, unless she thinks fists work against these thinks. The most she can do right now is continue to dodge, putting on a show that displays the 'superiority' of Blight's machines. She just wondered how long it was going to take.

"We usually don't have a presentation as exciting as this, but since its the Isles' most wanted, we thought to bring out all our creations at once!"

At the snap of her fingers, Odalia brought sentry like weapons that began splatting Abomination goop that forced Luz to dodge lightning fast...until one of the Abomaton's got her from behind and punched against the wall. The crowd cheered and laughed at Luz taking a hit. Odalia quietly laughed evilly while Alador examined the Belmont's weapon, pulling at its chain and admiring the craftsmanship of the grip.

"I'm looking forward to unlocking the secret's of the Belmont's weaponry." Alador said. "How can such a medieval weapon be said to be so powerful?"

"It's simply a mace, Hon." Odalia retorted. "Nothing special about it. Just like its user, apparently."

That hit was enough for Luz to start fighting back, as she decides to do something nobody expected. Eyes were on her as she...brought her arms to her mouth and bit down on her wrist...hard. So hard, in fact, that it cut the skin and drew blood that started to spill excessively. The crowd cringed at the sight of it, believe that the Belmont must've been hurt worst than they thought. Even Alador was bewildered by the sight of it while Odalia's smile turned to a frown as they were both confused at what Luz was doing. It was only until Luz jumped into the air and raised her arm, that a dark, long strand of blood was seen seeping from her wrist while she gripped it like her whip and brought it down against the Abomaton just as such, blasting it back. Gasps of shock were heard around the room, especially to the Blights, at the sight of the Belmont using their own blood as a weapon; a weapon, Luz admitted, felt like it brought great disgrace to her family name...The Shadow Whip. The blood splattered into the goop of the Abomaton seems have corrupted it, as it looked to be malfunctioning before falling down in a mini-explosion, much to the dismay of everyone present.

"That's not possible...!" Odalia whispered in shock as Luz continued to fight their creations.

Alador was more surprised as he says "I don't believe what I'm seeing. The Belmont has managed to solidify her blood and turn into a weapon. Based on some form of magic I've yet to see myself! This just cries out for research, as she doesn't seem to be in pain. And she has managed to conjure the weapon so easily."

"Alador, I don't need you to analyze, I need you to bring out the rest now!" Odalia yelled at her husband.

"But that's not safe." He replied. "They could-"

But Mrs. Blight wasn't having it as at the press of a button, more Abomatons came out and surrounded Luz as Alador murmured "Oh no..."

Strangely enough, it was around this time that Amity had finished yet another training routine as was deciding to take a break when she realized that her house was surprisingly empty.

"Mom? Dad? Where could they be?" She says while looking around. And upon doing so, did she find a note and read it carefully. "...Today was the day of the show? ...They found a replacement?" And that's when she heard some commotion coming outside...to the point where the front doors practically exploded. She feared the worse and readied her sword, only to see that it was Gus and Willow who managed to breach her home's defenses.

"Gus? Willow?" She said with surprise. "Oh Titan! You guys are here! I-wait. How did you guys get here?"

"Well...it's a funny story." Gus said through heavy breathing.

Blight Manor can be seen in the distance as Amity's voice can be heard echoing throughout the woods, angrily out "WHAT?!"

After what felt like hours, Luz had fought through horde after horde of Abomatons. It was a good thing Odalia made, otherwise this presentation of hers wouldn't have roused so much attention from potential buyers. Speaking of whom, the crowd was practically screaming for blood as while the machines managed to land a few good hits on Luz, she was able to hold her own and pick them off one after another. Unfortunately, the usage of the Shadow Whip was taking its tole on her; its use was forbidden for a reason as she obviously becoming weaking due to major blood loss. It was amazing that she was still standing, but not for long as she sees the Abomaton raise an axe and swinging, and she wasn't fast enough to dodge, forcing her to block with her bare arms. The hit sent back into the wall, where a small crater formed as Luz fell to the ground. She wasn't able to recover in time as she could see the Abomaton towering over her.

"This is it." Odalia said evilly. "We get to show the might of our creations and rid this world of the Belmont!"

"Um...Dear?" Alador began to say. "Perhaps this has gone on for too long. We've already shown enough of the Abomaton's prowess and besides, the Emperor's Coven promised a great reward for her capture, not her death."

"Trust me, my love. This will be for the best. I know it." Odalia said and her husband could swear her saw her eyes lit up blue for a second."

All the while, Luz spat out blood as she looked at the giant death machine about to finish her off. When...

"STAY AWAY FROM HER!"

Blasting through the roof and riding her End Devil was Amity, looking pissed as her Innocent Devil shot beams from its eyes, setting the Abomaton's ablaze and causing the crowd to run away in panic. Amity jumped, drew her sword and sliced through the Abomaton in a split second. Putting her sword away made the whole thing explode behind her as she turned to her weakened Luz.

"Amity..." The Belmont said weakly. "...You're looking good."

"Save it for later, Luz. We need to get you to a healer!"

"No. Just...amulets." Luz points to where Amity's parents were standing, the child of the Blights glaring at them both for what they've done.

"Amity Blight, what do you think that you're doing?!" Odalia yelled out.

"Something I should've done a long time ago!" At the snap of her fingers, Amity sent her End through the floor beneath them, throwing them off their feet and managing the snatch Luz's belonging too. With them being thrown at her, Luz managed to catch the light medallion, quickly absorbing the life energy inside it and healing it wounds. Now back in prime conditions, she took her whip and looked ready to continue the fight. Amity was pleased to see that her friend was well again, but she knew they weren't out of it yet as they found themselves surrounded by Abomatons.

"Hey, Amity?"

"Yes, Luz?"

"You're with me on this, right?"

"...Always."

Getting back on her feet, Odalia glared at to the girls, more spitefully to Luz as she said "I think this presentation is just about concluded."

"Odalia, wait!" Alador called out, but was ignored.

"Take them down!"

And with that, the remain creations went after the duo all together, to which they managed to start picking them off, Iron Man 2 style. With her whip, Luz hacked away at the weak spots of the machines, wrecking the Abomatons beyond repair while Amity's cut through their armor like a hot knife through butter. Some of them tried hit Luz with spiked projectiles, only for her to dodge and tap into her shadow magic, sending exploding daggers at them, destroying them with ease.

"You see that?"

"Yeah, yeah. Nice." Amity complimented as they odds were getting to be in their favor with the number of Abomatons and weapons falling fast. But this fight was getting old for Luz as she decided to end it here and now.

"Amity?" She calls out as her whip starts to glow in a heavenly blue. "Get down!"

Amity did as she was told as Luz raised her whip and then began to spin constantly as her whip cut through the remaining enemies surrounding them; the Ultimate Light attack. And with that, it was all over. The entire place was partially destroyed and all of Blight's Creations were wrecked by two teenage girls.

"I think you should lead with that next time." Amity said.

"Yeah, sorry luv. I can only use it once." Luz replied as she retracted her whip. "It's a one off."

Meanwhile, Odalia was seething with rage, as all her work had been destroyed. All the while, she had no idea that her anger was being amplified by the relic that she carried with her as both parents went to go confront their youngest.

"Amity Blight! Look at you've done!" Odalia began to yell out. "Have you any idea how much this is going to cost us?! You are so much trouble, young lady. I swear-!"

She immediately shut up when Luz brought out her light bo staff, which extended to the point where it reached Alador's neck, and the man could feel as if its heat was increasing.

"Here's what's going to happen." said Luz. "The next time you want to get my attention, you will simply ask and you shall recieve. Otherwise, you will remove the bounties on my friends...or watch as I drain the life out of your husband."

Suddenly, Alador could feel as if the bo sunk into his throat and felt himself getting weaker by the minute. For once, Odalia was actually starting to get scared of Luz, realizing what really made her a threat in the first place.

Turning to her daughter, Odalia spoke "A-Amity! Surely, you wouldn't allow this...killer to threaten your father's life!"

"Considering you threatened the lives of Gus, Willow and her, I see no problem with this."

"Make a choice or the only thing keeping your company going will fall faster than your sales."

Realizing that she had no choice, Odalia agreed to Luz and Amity's terms. And with all that handled, Luz and Amity walked away, leaving a fuming Odalia and a recovering Alador standing there.

"Can you believe the nerve of that child of ours?" She said. "Does she think it is smart to ally herself with such a...UGH! I can't even think of what to call that Belmont Girl! They ruined everything! It would've been enough to set us for life!"

Feeling his neck, Alador looked at his wife with a serious expression, saying "And you do not seem the least bit worried about the fact that our daughter could've been hurt, or worst, by those killing machines of yours."

"That is not the point! She-"

"You said she wouldn't get involved, but you did made her get involved. And she nearly became a victim of our own creations." Alador said back. "I don't know where this content of yours is coming from, but I am going to make sure that this does not happen." And with that, the patriarch of the Blight Family took off, all while Odalia was left her corrupting thoughts and growing desires...for chaos...and the suffering of others.

"Hey guys, I'm back!" Luz said, coming through the door of the Owl House. "You will not believe the day I've had! I-woah!"

She looked to see that Eda, Lilith, even King were covered in a whole bunch of injuries that looked pretty serious.

"What the heck happened to you guys?"

"We got a little squabble after a demonstration of power." Lilith explained. To which Eda added "But we did make some interesting discoveries along the way. You'll want to hear about it."

"Well, let's talk about it tomorrow." Luz said. "It's been one heck of a day."

And with that, the Belmont and her friends rested for today. But things would only get more challenging from here on out as Odalia and Blight Industries seek to recover with a few 'special' approaching them, Zobek and the Golden Guard. But as long as our heroes grow stronger, the battles will be taken to their enemies as the progression of power moves higher up.

Chapter became too long. Had to cut a few things. Sorry.
