"...come on. Where are the tacos?" Akane muttered, tapping a foot impatiently as she looked out the window.
To more or less explain what was happening, Jenny and a few of her friends came to visit from Hope's Peak for a few weeks off, and were enjoying the time spent with Ben and Co...who in turn were on vacation so they wouldn't deal with a certain rich, egotistical boy 'genius' and his attempt at a team. However before the group could enjoy the last few days, Ben and his friends were called to deal with a new incoming threat and Jenny joined in to help, so until Mai got back home...the house was being looked after by the more responsible members of the Hope's Peak group.
"It's only been fifteen minutes since Ben-san and the others went off," Naegi pointed out.
"Yeah, but those tacos looked really good…" Akane argued, "Wonder how spicy they are?"
"Yeah! Ibuki wants to get her muy caliente spice on!" Ibuki declared as she shot up from behind the couch, wearing a sombrero as she shook a pair of maracas.
"Wh-where did you get those?" Mikan asked.
"...not from Makoko's room…" Ibuki replied simply.
"Why do I get the sneaking feeling that Ibuki and Makoto think too much alike." Naegi muttered.
"Eh. Probably the hunger talking," Mondo shrugged.
"Hmm...oh! I think I found something for us to snack on while we wait!" Hina called out from the kitchen as she held up a tupperware container.
"Hina-senpai, I don't think…" Kaede began as Hina opened it up...and immediately closed it, "...what….was what censored?"
"Censored?" Kyoko repeated from nearby, sitting down reading a book.
"Just ignore it…" Byakuya muttered, currently focused on his own book.
"That...should not be possible," Kibo blinked as he entered the kitchen with Kuon.
"It's true! It really was censored!" Hina argued.
"Oh come on. There's no way you can get food…" Kuon began as he took the container and opened it...and immediately closed it the moment purple fumes started coming out, "..."
"See?!"
"What the hell was that?" Kuon questioned.
"It smelled like the Makai world's rotting demon flesh…" Zaruba muttered so no one would hear him, "Either this house is haunted...or whoever lives here can't cook for the sake of their own life…"
"Who in the hell cooked this?" Kuon asked.
"Sister…" Lambda spoke, taking the container from Kuon as she walked by. She then paused for a moment, looking between the trash and the fridge...before grabbing a sticky note nearby, writing 'Mai' on it before putting it on the container and putting it in the fridge, "She can't cook…"
"I...I don't even want to know what it's supposed to be or how she somehow made what I can only assume is Dark Matter."
"She tried to make everything spaghetti...mixed with lo mein noodles, ramen, and chow mein noodles," Lambda answered.
"I don't think even Elder Gods would dare imagine that sort of creation…hmm maybe Cthulhu," Zaruba muttered.
"That did seem very eldritch abomination…" Kuon muttered, "I think it tried to reach out at me…"
"I heard reach. Someone s-" Miu began as she walked into the living room.
"Stop it," almost everyone there spoke in unison.
"Pfft! Whatever...I, Miu was gonna go back to finding any nifty gadgets this place may have," Miu snorted.
"I don't think that's a very good idea," Kibo and Naegi muttered.
"Not with that attitude!" Miu laughed.
"Wait!" Kuon grabbed her, "I swear to god if you touch anything...I will make it so it's the last thing you ever touch."
"...on second thought, I may as well work on my own shit then," Miu muttered as she walked off, hopping onto a chair at the nearby table. She then pressed something on the straps of her backpack before a pair of robotic arms slid out, reaching into the bag and pulled out various tools and items.
"Someone keep an eye on her so she doesn't make anything destructive…" Kyoko sighed, "Less we have a repeat of the robot-octopus incident…"
"To be fair...I tried to make it so it gives massages," Miu argued, lifting up her goggles as she paused from working on something.
"I certainly didn't feel relaxed," Mikan whispered with a heavy blush.
"Hey. Least Jen was able to beat the thing down," Akane pointed, now in the kitchen as she rummaged through the fridge
"The fact you even needed saving is a problem that needs to be brought up as an argument for her to need a Babysitter." Kuon argued...before pointing right at Ibuki, "That goes for you too, Mioda!"
"Hah?"
"That 'rock' concert you held…" Kuon argued.
"I swore I felt like I had multiple viruses in me…" Kibo muttered
"Well it's not like we can keep an eye on all of them?" Naegi argued, "Especially you, you always vanish at the oddest of times Kuon."
"I have my own stuff going on, I can't be expected to be the peace keeper of the school. I swear after a month with you guys it's like you named me the town Sheriff." Kuon argued.
"Well...who else here can stop everyone, even the most odd and powerful of us with one punch." Kyoko argued.
"And what has now been dubbed the school's Monster Sextet with you, Owada, Oogami, Owari, Nidai, and Gekohara," Byakuya added with a sigh.
"You guys are pretty scary when all six of you are together…" Naegi pointed out.
"Damn right we are," Mondo grinned.
"Kuon is still the strongest though." Ibuki pointed out.
"She is right...he's as strong as Sakura-chan," Hina added, "In fact...I think they've yet to break the tie between them."
"I know better not to anger her, and she's a good sparring partner," Kuon admitted before shooting a slight stink eye at Akane, "Unlike a certain someone that pounces at me now and again…"
"Hmm?" Akane blinked, pausing from eating the giant turkey leg she found.
"You know what you did!"
"I refuse to reply."
"Stop breaking into my room!"
"Let's not fight please," Kibo spoke up as he got between the two, "We are guests here after all, so let's avoid any confrontation and not cause a mess...as usual."
"Technically we're house sitting until one of Nanaya's friends comes home," Byakuya pointed out, "But agreed...less chaos the better."
"..." Lambda blinekd for a moment as she looked around, "...Murphy has not been tempted…"
"Who?" many asked.
"Murphy's Law…" Zaruba whispered to Kuon, "It means that anything bad that can happen, will happen."
"That's a thing in America?" he replied.
"More like a thing that follows those I've formed a contract with…" the sentient ring replied.
"Ahh…"
"..hungry…" Lambda whispered, "...Mari."
"Eh? Who's M-ahh! Ferret!" Miu exclaimed when Mari hopped off her head and into Lambda's arms.
"Mink…" Lambda corrected as the mink climbed onto her shoulder, "Do not irritate her...she will cut."
"Aww I didn't know you guys had a mink," Hina cooed a bit as she and Kaede walked over.
"But...what do you mean 'she will cut'?" Kaede blinked.
"Villain named Animo...sister liberated her from his attempted creation of kamaitachi," Lambda explained as she walked into the kitchen.
"...oh Gungun would keel over if he saw an actual kamaitachi here," Ibuki whispered.
"Technically she said manu…" Naegi began before he yelped, tripping on his shoe lace a bit as he ended up face planting into the wall, "...ow."
"You okay, Naegs?" Mondo asked, looking over from the couch.
"Yeah...just...p-" Naegi began, about to pull himself off the wall...but it suddenly opened and revealed a set of stairs...that he was about to fall down, "OH GEEZ!"
"Who's turn is it to save him this time?" Kuon asked.
"I got him!" Kibo yelped as he rushed over, quickly grabbing Naegi before he could fall off...only to end up slipping on Naegi's shoelace as they fell down the stars, "Oh dear!"
*CRASH!*
"...we're okay…." Naegi and Kiibo groaned from the bottom of the stairs.
"...ugh. Mikan?" Kuon sighed.
"Oh dear…" Mikan whispered, grabbing her medkit as she rushed down the stairs.
"...secret room~" Ibuki and Akane whispered in glee.
"I smell lab," Miu spoke up as she stood up, a serious look in her eyes as her robotic arms pointed at the opened wall, "..."
"...don't even think about it," Kuon frowned before the three rushed down the stairs, "DAMN IT ALL!"
"Ugh…" Kyoko sighed as she, Kuon, and Hina followed after them, "Byakuya, can you…"
"Me, Akamatsu and Owada will be on look out…" Byakuya sighed as he put his book away.
"Thank you."
"I swear to god when I find those three…" Kuon muttered as he stomped down the stairs, moving past the groaning Kiibo and Naegi as Mikan was checking them for any injuries.
"Starting to get creeped out…" Hina whispered as she hid behind Kyoko.
"What even is this place?" Kuon asked, "From what you guys have told me, this house has Ben and Makoto the lovey-dovey couple, Tsubaki their team leader, Noel the adorable sister, Lambda the second adorable sister, Mai the normal one, the alien Rook, and then the one called Kajun who is like their version of Miu…" he looked around, his eyes adjusting as he looked for a light switch to further illuminate the dimly lit room.
"I think I found the light switch," Kyoko spoke as she felt around the wall, feeling what assumed to be the light switch before pressing it.
As the lights turned on, it showed that the room in question...like Miu said was a secret lab, complete with various tools and equipment, beakers, tubes, computers, a fridge container lord knows what...and parts of what could possibly be a new project. And right now Miu...she was busy hugging...glomping onto one of the computers.
"Oh~ I creamed and died..and went to inventor heaven~" she whispered in glee.
"You start dry humping that thing and I swear to god I will give you brain damage." Kuon sighed, "Now...where's Ibuki a-"
"WHOO~!" Ibuki cheered as she rode a large robotic arm, "This is awesome! Ooh~! I wonder if Ibuki can make a kickass guitar in here!"
"...I think we ended up stepping into Kajun-san's lab," Hina muttered, "It's like Miu's...only more clean...and more advanced."
"I'm not gonna turn to Miu...nope...don't want to risk it." Kuon sighed.
"C-careful…" Mikan said as Naegi and Kibo sat up, groaning as they held their heads.
"Ugh….my bad luck kicked in ag-" Naegi began before looking up, "...did we end up in Miu's lab?"
"No..it seems cleaner and far more advanced…" Kibo noted as the two stood up.
"Which is why I advise not to touch anything further," Kyoko immediately spoke up.
"Agreed," Kuon sighed before reaching up, stopping the robotic arm before catching Ibuki as she fell off, "Alright...where's Akane, Ibuki?"
"I think she went to go find something to eat...she smelt food in here somewhere," Ibuki answered.
"Shit…" Kuon spoke.
"Ah…" Kyoko sighed as she pinched the bridge of her nose, "...we may as well split up to cover more ground."
"Right. Some of us will go search for Akane while the rest…" looks at Ibuki and Miu for a moment, the latter of which drooling at some of the tools there, "...look after these two."
"What's that mean?" Ibuki blinked.
"It means don't touch anything!" he snapped.
"Aww~"
"...I'll...stay and look after them with Tsumiki-sempai," Kibo offered with a bead of sweat going down the side of his head.
"And since Akane is involved…" Naegi began before looking up the stairs, "Mondo, mind coming down?! Akane's gone missing!"
"Again?! Is she trying to find food again?"
"Most likely."
"Yo La-chan! You're in charge!"
"Beg p-" Byakuya began.
"Behave," Lambda's voice stated just as Mondo began running down the stairs.
"...man, Miu w-" Mondo began before loud clang could be heard, making him look to see Miu twitching on the ground with Kyoko holding onto a wrench, "...nevermind."
"She was warned of what would happen if she tried it."
"But...it...was...Kuon who said it…" Miu groaned.
"She has permission if I'm busy," Kuon argued.
"Mmm~"
"Akane! Akane where are you?!" Mondo shouted as he and the others were searching for the Ultimate Gymnast...and haven't found any sight of her, "...yeesh. How big is this lab?"
"This feels like something out of that one foriegn show Doctor Who, IE it looks bigger once inside," Kibo noted
"I want to say that's impossible, but given we came here via portal…" Kuon sighed.
"I thought it was pretty neat," Hina admitted, "I mean...we came here from Japan in just a few minutes….hey. I wonder…"
"You can't use the Plumbers' Groundbridge to get donuts whenever you want…" Kyoko stated.
"...I'll still think about it," Hina muttered, "But I was thinking more of a trip to the beach when we have more time off."
"Oh...that sounds good actually," Naegi noted.
"Please don't talk of abusing alien technology belonging to space cops…" Kuon spoke, "Last thing I want is to end up in some kind of Space Alcatraz."
"Or worst…" Kyoko added before she heard the sound of something rummaging, "...that must've been her."
"But where…" Hina began.
"Found her," Naegi spoke up, pointing to the large fridge nearby...with Akane rummaging through it.
"Mm...I know I smelled something good in here," Akane muttered as she looked around, "Weird drinks in here...no soda, orange, not even purple stuff...oh wait. There it is…"
"Oi…" Kuon spoke up, walking up behind her making her freeze, "What ya doing?" he asked with an almost happy tone, which only served to make Akane freeze up even more.
"...eh heh….hey Kuon…" Akane sheepishly chuckled, slowly turning to look at him...unaware that she was leaning on a shelf with one 'drink' on the verge of falling off.
"Ano sa…" Kuon began with a sweet smile which served to unnerve her even more, "This isn't our house, and this is a secret room." he raised up his fist with Zaruba on it as a vein could be seen pulsing on the back of his fist from the anger he was hiding, "You know what you did, hai?"
"...h-hold on. I just wanted t-" Akane began before Kuon conked her head on the head, a shiver going down from her head to her feet as she stood there motionless for a moment. After a bit...she collapsed onto her back, causing the shelf she was leaning on to shake and fall off..landing right into her opened mouth, "?"
"...oops," Kuon muttered as Akane ended up drinking its contents.
"...A...Akane-chan? Are...you alright?" Hina cautiously asked, approaching Akane slowly to check her.
"...?!" Akane's eyes shot open, becoming slit as a green tint could be seen within them.
"...oh no…" Naegi gulped as he and the others stepped back, Akane's body convulsing as she slowly got up.
First her muscles bulged out a bit as she began to grit her teeth, which slowly started becoming sets of fangs. Her nails began to grow into claws while her hair started growing longer. A tearing sound was soon heard as a long tiger tail slid out from her lower back while a pair of tiger ears poked out of her hair while what looked like whisker marks appeared on her cheeks.
"Ah...AHHHHHHH!" Akane roared out as she raised her head, the area rumbling from the force of the roar alone.
"Did she become a were-tiger?!" Mondo gawk.
"...no…" Kyoko spoke as the beaker the 'drink' was in rolled over, the female detective leaning down to pick it up, "'Experimental Beastkin enhancer. Meant to enhance a Beastkin's base powers...but if used on a non-Beastkin, it will resort turning them into a feral berserk one. Failed due to using Apoplexian DNA within the serum…' …"
"...Appoplexian...isn't that one of Ben-san's forms?" Naegi asked.
"Correct," Kyoko answered.
"...oh dear," Naegi and Hina meeped.
"Hold it...maybe I c-" Mondo began as he stepped forward, only to gag out when Akane's fist buried itself into his gut, knocking the air out of him before he was kicked hard through some equipment and landed near Mikan and Kibo.
"Ahh! Owada-sempai!" Mikan gasped as she rushed over, "A-are you okay?!"
"OKINAWA!" Monodo blurted out in his dazed state.
"No...he is not okay." Kyoko replied.
"I hate everything about this." Kuon sighed before Akane turned her attention to him.
"Grr…"
"...I think she sees you as a threat to her den," Zaruba whispered to Kuon.
"Don't you mean…"
"I know what I said...we're now stuck in the tiger's den."
"Ah damn it…"
"Not to alarm anyone, but it seems we're being attacked!" Byakuya shouted form upstairs.
"SHIT!" Kuon snapped, "What else can go wrong?!"
=Come out Tennyson! I know you're in there!= Psyphon and Billy's voices shouted.
"...great...just gr-" Kuon began before Akane ran off, "..." he looked around at the others, "Yeah no this is my job to fix I understand that…" he ran after Akane.
"Also technically your fault for making her drink it..." Zaruba added.
"I didn't think something would fall off the shelf!" Kuon hissed.
"You should've noticed…"
"You could've told me!"
"Kuon is everything…" Kibo began as Kuon ran past him, "...something happened didn't it?"
"Hai…" Kyoko sighed.
"Now listen here, half pint…Tennyson is my enemy to target..." Psyphon growled as he and his army of grunts glared at Billy and his army of robots, the two leaders of each group holding a megaphone in hand.
"Wrong! He's my enemy for ruining my life!" Billy argued as Mazuma held him up, "He humiliated me and the Vengers...on live TV!"
"Well that sounds like a you problem," Psyphon countered.
"Says the walking brittle skeleton before me," Billy frowned.
"You listen here, you twerp. I've been fighting Tennyson longer than you in the place of Lord Vilgax. Either step aside…" Psyphon began as his hands began to glow, "Or face termination…"
"Fine…" Billy began as his robots aimed, Mazuma's hand morphing into a blaster as he held up a blaster and aimed at Psyphon, "Was thinking of testing my new aging ray out on you any…"
"RAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
"...what was th-" Billy began before the head of one of his robots was suddenly crushed, "?!"
"What in…!" Psyphon began before a scream was heard.
"Boss, they-bukawk!- got Wilhelm!" Liam freaked before another grunt was sent flying.
"Tennyson is that you!? Face me y-" Billy and Psyphon began before the blur stopped, showing a snarling Akane as she glared at them, "..."
"...oh lord don't tell me it's that time of year for female Appoplexians…" Psyphon paled greatly.
"...how bad are we talking?" Billy nervously asked.
"Our pelts will line the walls of her room…" Psyphon replied.
"...Mazuma!"
"Of course Master Bi-" Mazuma began before Akane kicked her hard in the face, sending both her and Billy flying into the distance and crash into Billions tower.
"...please don't hurt us," Psyphone begged, him, the grunts and even the robots holding their arms up.
"Grr…"
"...oh ph-"
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Akane roared before becoming a blur, each of the robots being torn and broken up as the remains crashed into each of Psyphon's grunts.
"...I think I got the wrong address...good day!" Psyphon screamed as he ran off...only for Akane to leap before him, "Gah!...grr...enough!" he snapped, making Akane stop for a moment, "Do you realize who you are trying to attack, beast?! I am a servant of the great lord Vilgax...and I will not be intimidated by a…!"
"Grrr…" she grabbed his face as it gave off a squeaking sound. She tossed him up and grabbed his leg, before pivoting around and slamming him into the ground several times, each time causing ground to break apart. It seemed she finished...before slamming him around a few more times for good measure. "...puny….servant…" she growled out, spitting down at him as she began to move back towards her 'den'.
"...ah….." Psyphon squeaked out in pure...absolute pain as he laid there.
"Akane, stop b..." Kuon began as he rushed out..and saw the destruction outside, "...oh….oh wow…" he quickly shook his head to look at Akane, who stopped for a moment to look at him, "Oi! Akane stop!"
"...grr…" Akane growled out as she glared at him, bearing her fangs as she cracked her clawed fingers single-handedly.
"Really...you wanna do this?" he sighed, "Ah...even infected by weird alien stuff...you're still the same huh?"
"I think she might actually be stronger like this, so you might actually have to hit her for real." Zaruba spoke.
"Do I have to...I…" Kuon began before Akane kicked him across the face..only he stood there for a moment with his head cocked back, "...know what?" he began as he turned his head back, popping his neck as he looked at Akane, "Challenge accepted, tiger girl...so give me all you got."
"Grr…!" Akane grinned at that before she tackled into him, sending the two crashing and destroying the front door.
"What the…?!" Byakuya exclaimed as he and Kaede moved back.
"Is...is that Akane?!" Kaede exclaimed, "What happened?!"
"Long story short: found Akane in secret lab, bonked her on the head, accidentally made her drink something that made her into some sort of berserk tiger woman!" Kuon grunted as he wrestled with Akane, "So with this I say get to the secret lab downstairs!...but on the off chance things start collapsing, get the hell out of here!"
"Hai/you don't have to tell me twice!" Kaede and Byakuya answered, the latter actually nervous to see the already wild Akane act more wild..and feral as the two rushed down the secret stairs leading to Kajun's lab.
"Hmm." Kuon turned to Akane as she rushed and punched, only for Kuon to grab her hand and swing her around before slamming her down into the floor.
Kuon jumped back as she swung herself around and back to her feet. Akane swung a kick only for Kuon to block by raising his arm up, he swung his free hand and used it to push her leg down, throwing off her balance as she hobbled back a bit. Once she got her footing, she tackled into him once more, crashing through a window as they were outside once more, the currently wild gymnast swinging Kuon around before tossing him into a nearby car.
"Okay, so maybe she is stronger." Kuon groaned pushing himself up, pushing the parts of the frame that crumpled around him away.
"Grr…." Akane growled as she dug her claws into the ground, kneeling down as she began to charge straight at him, leaving claw marks along the ground as the gashes started getting deeper.
"KUON MOVE!" Zaruba shouted.
"Gh!" Kuon tensed as he quickly rolled out of the way, doding Akane's cross slash as the resulting shock wave left a large set of claw marks in the shape of an X where Kuon once stood, "...okay. I am gonna file a formal complaint to that Kajun girl for making that stuff!"
"GRAAAGH!" Akane roared as she ran right towards him, grabbing the body of one of the destroyed robots as she threw it straight at Kuon, only for him to dodge...and have to end up crashing into the Omniteam's house, destroying more of the front wall in the process.
"Alright, that's on me." he swung his arm up and used his elbow to deflect away her next swing. He spun around and used his right palm to push away her follow up. He spun around Akane before he twisted around and slammed his left elbow into her face as soon as she turned around to follow his movements. He kept up with the momentum as he spun his body around and swung a low kick which knocked her off her feet.
Akane grunted and looked up only to cough in surprise as Kuon kicked her, sending her up into the air. Kuon grunted and stretched his neck, popping it a few times as he waited. As soon as he heard the growl of her falling back down, he twisted around, before jumping and spinning around to slam a kick which connected and sent her flying into the house.
"In for a penny as they say…" Kuon sighed as Akane began pushing herself up, "Are ya done yet?" he asked, more annoyed by this point.
Akane snarled as she bursted out through the wall, shaking off all the broken wood and glass that was on her as she got into a pouncing position.
"And I ended up destroying their kitchen…" Kuon muttered.
"This girl is a lot more powerful than I realized…" Zaruba admitted.
"Don't compliment her…" Kuon sighed as he jumped to the side in time to avoid her attack. He then spun around and slammed a punch to her stomach, knocking her out of the air and tumbling along the ground, "Ok...you tired yet, Akane?"
"Grr...grr….graaaa…" Akane growled as a literal fiery aura began to engulf her, "Let Akane...tell you something...Kuon….Akane...is the strongest alpha!" she roared as the fiery aura increased in size, the ground burning underneath her as steam began to come off her muscles.
"And I'm guessing that's the Appoplexian part…" Kuon muttered before barely avoiding the punch from Akane, only to since he was sent flying from the resulting shockwave. He tumbled along the ground before stopping face first in the street, "...hah…" he pushed himself up, "Okay...I don't care what you think you are...I am done with this." he turned to Akane and motioned her to come at him, "Koi…"
Akane snarled out before leaping straight at him, leaving a small crater in her wake as she reeled her fist back, Kuon blocking in time as the force of hte punch resulted in another shockwave that broke nearly every window in the area.
"Ano sa…" he sighed as his hand gripped around her fist, keeping her in place as she struggled to break free, "You're causing a lot of trouble for the folks around here...even if they are used to living near a Super Hero." he lifted his free arm, "This...is for months of you being a pain in my ass woman!" he growled as his eyes began shining blue.
"?!" Akane tensed up as she jumped back from his throne punch...only to cry out as she was sent by the resulting shockwave and crashed into the Omniteam's house, completely destroying the front as she ended up crashing into the second floor. She groaned in pain before tensing as Kuon grabbed her leg and yanked her back down to the first floor.
"You've really pushed me...now...Seibai…" Kuon growled as his anger formed into a wolf like aura around him, which growled at her, "Do you have any excuse as for why I should show mercy?"
"I…"
"Mercy denied!" at that a powerful striking sound filled the air.
"ITAI!"
"Mada mada!"
"OW!"
"You will feel my pain! Through comical amounts if need be! Mundo Muyo!" More sounds of punching filled the air, "Are you normal yet?!"
"I...tai…"
"That's a no!"
"I don't think we should go up there yet…" Naegi spoke as the ground shook for a moment, followed by Akane crying out in pain after each tremor.
"No...no we should not…" Kaede whispered in agreement.
"Blugh…." Mondo slurred, some bandages on his head as Mikan kept an eye on him.
"Oh no...join them Byakuya. There's no way havoc and chaos would happen," Byakuya muttered to himself sarcastically, "Ugh...I should've stayed home and dealt with Fukawa…"
"You heard what you said right?" Most of them pointed out.
"How about now?!" Kuon shouted as the ground shook even harder that time.
"Kuon's really giving it to her…" Hina whispered with a cringe.
"One thing I've learned thanks to Jenny-san after what happened with Maki and Miu...do not anger women," Kiibo gulped, a sorta haunting look in his eyes, "Especially Maki."
"I think Kuon is the only one who will forever not learn that lesson." Naegi spoke.
"Guys...I think it's okay...also...I might have killed her…" Kuon called out.
"...Ow…"
"Nevermind!"
"The fact he's so okay with fighting a woman as an equal is both impressive...but concerning…" Kyoko muttered.
"I just hope I have enough supplies to tend to her wounds…" Mikan whispered in concern.
"...it's silent...Ibuki will go check," Ibuki whispered as she began to sneak up the stairs...only to be sent flying with a piece of debris hitting her nogging, "AEROSMITH~!"
"Did...she just pulled a Teruteru?" Hina blinked.
"Th-" Byakuya began before the debris smacked him in the face, breaking the lens of one of his glasses, "GAH!"
"Damn...two for the price of one," Miu muttered, currently tied up at the moment, "Also...it sounds like total hell up there!"
"Hopefully it's n-" Naegi began before a ringing went off, making the group tense up a bit before seeing a Plumbers badge nearby, "..."
"..." Kyoko sighed as she walked over and answered it, "Hello?"
=Hello? Is this one of Jenny's friends from Kibougamine?= Mai's voice asked.
"It is."
=Phew...was worried for a moment there= Mai sighed in relief =Just wanted to inform you that I'm finally free and heading back home with Tsubaki…=
"?!" the group tensed up at that.
=And hey...if you see a container with food that looks censored...that's my dinner for tonight...other than that, can't wait to meet you all finally= Mai informed before cutting communication.

"Welp...we're royally fucked," Miu blurted out.
"...wait….where's La-chan?" Hina asked, noticing Noel's sister was nowhere to be seen.
"...ahh crap baskets," Naegi realized.
"Ooh~" Akane groaned as she laid there, her muscles shrunk back down to size and the tiger ears and tail missing while she sported multiple bumps and bruises on her head and body...and her eyes replaced with swirls.
"I don't regret it." Kuon replied.
"I think you gave her a concussion…" Zaruba muttered.
"Don't regret...now where's some rope…" Kuon muttered as he looked around...and realized how much damage he caused to the house...the front completely destroyed, the first floor in shambles...and the second floor looking like it was on the verge of collapsing, "...hoo boy…"
"You really went wild in that battle…"
"Don't need any lip from you…" Kuon muttered before blinking, "..OH SHIT!"
"What?"
"I forgot about the shy one's sister and pet mink!" Kuon panicked as he began to search through the rubble, "Oi! Oi Lambda! Lambda! La-chan? Mari?! Where are you?!"
"AH!" the others panicked as they ran up from the hidden stairway.
"Oh we're so much in trouble!" Mondo panicked, carrying Ibuki over his shoulder.
"I should've stayed back at the school...but no. I get dragged into havoc and chaos whenever I hang out with you all," Byakuya muttered as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Bitch and moan later! Find the other cute one!" Mondo freaked as he dropped Ibuki.
"Blueah...frozen peas…" Ibuki muffeldly slurred as she was face first on the floor.
"La-chan! La-chan, where are you?!" Hina called out as she and the others...well, those able, searched through the rubble for the Murakumo unit.
"Kibo, please tell me you can detect her!" Naegi asked as he looked through the wreckage that was once the kitchen.
"Trying!" Kibo exclaimed, a visor over his eyes as he rapidly looked around.
"Hey, pale doll! Where the f-" Miu began before an apple was shoved into her mouth, "Mmm?!"
"Not helping…" Kyoko deadpanned.
"Damn it! Where is she?!" Mondo exclaimed, lifting up some debris as he looked around, "How did we lose a near emotionless robot girl our age?!"
"We were panicking from Akane turning into a weretiger!" Naegi argued as he rushed out the remains of the closet, "Lambda-san?! Wh-"
"Here."
"Oh geez!" Naegi yelped as the group looked outside to see Lambda poking out of some bushes, Mari resting on her shoulder, "..."
"Oh thank kami we found her…" Kaede sighed in relief.
"La-chan...why are you and Mari…" Hina began.
"I hid the moment an Appolexian was detected nearby…" Lambda answered before slinking back down into the bushes, Mari tilting her head.
"...even she was afraid of a berserk Akane," Kibo owlishly blinked.
"The only person not afraid of that...is the only thing even worse than a Berserk Akane…" Hina argued.
"A very angry Kuon…" Naegi added.
"Damn right," Kuon admitted with a snort, finishing tying up Akane "Now..let's hurry before…"
"Greetings. I apologize for Mai's absence, sh-eh?!"
"..." the group slowly began to turn to see Tsubaki standing there, gawking and sputtering in disbelief.
"I...I don't….how…" Tsubaki whispered, "HOW?!"
"...uh…" Naegi began before looking down at the bound up Akane, "We told you not to drink that weird liquid in the fridge."
"We never speak of it," Kuon added, deciding to go along with whatever Naegi was planning.
"Agreed," Byakuya added.
Needless to say….and after a long night helping to rebuild the house, carting away Psyphon and his grunts to prison, and a celebration to welcome the newest member of the Omniteam, the Hope's Peak crew was still much in trouble...mostly Akane, Miu and Ibuki. And Kajun was in a bit of trouble as well for creating that serum in the first place, and before she would receive her punishment….she, Blukic and Driba would have to examine Akane for any…..side effects.
"Someone please tell Miu why she's still tied up?!" Miu demanded as she was being carried over Mondo's shoulders.
"We're afraid of what'll happen if we let you loose here in the base," Makoto argued.
"Move...and see what happens." Kuon spoke up, his hand shooting up and grabbing a fly out of mid-air for emphasis.
"...Miu will be good."
"You better," Kyoko stated with a sigh.
"Why did they have to drag Mikan along though?" Hina pondered, pausing from eating a donut as she sat with Jenny and Sari.
"She's still technically learning about how Aliens work and their anatomy," Jenny answered, "She is technically the Ultimate Nurse, so she wants to learn as much she can."
"But why is it whenever she tripped, she'd always end up in some rather….naughty pose?" Sari questioned.
"We honestly don't know," Hina answered, "And it's rather concerning…"
"Ibuki declares we shall learn!" Ibuki declared...while being held on Mondo's other shoulder.
"Kaitoh's gonna be jealous when he learns I was in something space related," Mondo whispered as he looked around, "...Hey Ben, you said you got a friend that works on cars and stuff right?"
"Who, Kevin? Why ask man?" Ben asked.
"Was hoping to have him look at my ride," Mondo answered, "Lately my ride's been acting wonky and my mechanic doesn't even know what's wrong with it...and I make sure to keep it in top shape each day."
"Well he's out of state with my cousin-who is also his girlfriend-at college." Ben explained, "But if you want some gear heads to help you, Rook and Max built a super bike out of alien parts that can break all kinds of speed records...and go up walls...and has a parachute function."
"...you know where they at?"
"Right now? The garage most likely. They are making, and I kid you not...a Stealth Car,"
"Here, Naegi," Mondo said as he handed Ibuki and Miu to Naegi
"Woah!" Naegi yelped, nearly losing his footing from the weight before Kibo caught him, "Thanks…"
"And he's gone...don't start stuff with the nice alien cops!" Kuon called out to Mondo.
"GOTCHA!"
"Taku…" Kuon complained before crossing his arms, pointing Zaruba at Lambda, who was staring at the ring.
"Boo..." Zaruba spoke up silently.
"?!" Lambda jumped back at that, blinking in surprise, "...sentient ring?"
"Shh...this is our little secret." he replied.
"...ok…"
"Honestly my dad talked about a Hope's Peak one time...told me to stay away from it due to it being fishy," Sari admitted as she looked at the Hope's Peak crew, "I don't see why...your friends are funny and cool, Jenny."
"I'm sure he must have somehow heard rumors of weird stuff. And what he was probably speaking of, but unaware of was the secretive council of people who ran it from the shadows." Jenny replied, "But...they're gone now...and let's leave it at that."
"They dead…" Kuon blurted.
"How…?" Naegi began.
"Kyoko told me."
"I need a reliable wall of muscle sometimes…" Kyoko explained.
"Yo." Kuon added to that with a raise of his hand, "Reliable wall of muscle here."
"Which Akane likes to go after a lot," Ibuki chimed in, "Even more than Nekomaru lately."
"I never asked for the attention." Kuon replied, "Do you have any idea how hard it is to deal with a lunatic who takes being knocked out in a single bonk to the head, as an invitation to stalk me for a rematch? I swear I miss the days where I didn't have to do this all day..."
"Hmm yes and wandering around the Makai world on our lonesome was so much better…" Zaruba whispered.
"Quiet you," Kuon hissed to him before looking back at the others, "But yeah….seriously, every single day...she just comes to me for a match. During lunch; Fight me! During after class; Fight me! The sauna: Fight me! My room…take a wild guess."
"Wow…" many responded.
"So that's why you always go into the bath in a full surfing outfit…" Naegi realized.
"I wish I could say she hasn't found me while totally naked…" Kuon sighed, "...thank god she also stopped asking me to fondle her."
"Okay. We just walked right into the room...what?" Jin deadpanned from the doorway with Tsubaki.
"I miss that place some days." Makoto sighed, "Never boring~"
"Don't think about it, Makoto…" Tsubaki sighed
"Oh come on, just last week we spent an entire good Saturday morning...without a single hijink of whacky adventure. It was so boring." Makoto argued.
"Well...yes but…" Tsubaki began before sighing a bit, "Nevermind...I already put the paperwork in, and I have clearance to let Jenny and whoever she brings with her to arrive from Hope's Peak to come here, and let us come into the school in turn for a visit."
"I still say we need to test this one…" Jin pointed to Kuon, "The fact he could somehow stop what was described to me as a 'were-tiger' makes me think he's not human."
"Technically he's not…" Zaruba whispered.
"Oh please...if anyone isn't human, it's Akane...seriously the feats that woman can p-" Kuon began.
"Hey guys!" the group looked over to see Akane walking over ot them, currently munching on a giant bone covered in meat, "Mmm...seriously, why didn't anyone tell me alien food tasted good?!"
"Akane, are you okay?" Kaede asked.
"Huh? Of course I am...Makoto's nerd friend and Mikan just did some tests on me and checked my blood," Akane shrugged, "Didn't see anything weird out of that."
"About that…" Kajun began as she and Mikan walked up from behind her, "We did find something...interesting within her DNA."
"What? Like she's part alien or something?" Kuon asked half-jokingly.
"Correct."
"...come again?"
"Sh-she's right," Mikan spoke up, "We...or F-Faycott-san found bits of Appoplexian in her DNA."
"It seemed to be dormant before she drank the serum I had made," Kajun stated
"Which we have a lot of complaints about!" Makoto snapped.
"Shh. Let me explain," Kajun hushed before handing Mikan a tablet, the two moving a bit as it stretched out into a large screen showing a full bodied picture of Akane standing next to a DNA spiral, "See the strand next to her? That's how a normal human's DNA spiral is...but…" she tapped something on the screen as the DNA spiral changed to show another one, only this one had a bit of it covered in black and orange colors, "This is Akane's DNA spiral, and she does indeed have Appoplexian DNA within her...only it was about 10-15% before she drank my serum, which increased it to 75%...to the point where her Appoplexian side took control...but not to the point she grows fur."
"Wait….so does that mean Akane is technically half Rath?" Ben asked with a raised brow.
"Technically a bit, but thanks to the serum...the Appoplexian part of her DNA is steadily rising up a bit so it would show more."
"...that…..that actually explains a lot," Kyoko blinked in surprise, breaking her stoic appearance for a moment.
"No…" Kuon replied.
"The fact she has a bit of a short attention span…" Naegi began.
"No…"
"The fact she likes to fight a lot…" Kaede added.
"No no no…"
"The fact she can pull off stuff like climbing to the top of Kibougamine," Kibo added.
"No no no…!"
"And the fact she likes to eat...a lot...or is that just her?" Hina pondered.
"Nope...Rath likes to eat a LOT, so it's probably normal for her then," Makoto added, "...wait. She's not gonna be prone to anger attacks, is she?"
"U-Unless you provoke her like Faycott-san's assistants," Mikan answered.
"Observe," Kajun said as she poked Akane with a needle.
"?! YEOW!" Akane yelped before snarling, her tiger ears and tail coming back as she glared at Kajun, "The hell was that for?!"
"A test," Kajun answered simply, "Once your Appoplexian DNA settles in, the violent outburst won't happen as much, but…" she paused as she looked at Akane's ears and tail, "You will be considered a Beastkin since those will be permanent."
"...wait…" Akane blinked, calming down as her tiger ears and tail vanished, "So I'm part Ap...appo...I'm part space tiger?"
"I refuse all of this." Kuon spoke up.
"Kuon…"
"Nope! I refuse I say!" Kuon dramatically declared.
"I'm with him...she was annoying enough before," Jin muttered.
"...I'm not hungry…" Akane whispered.
"Eh?" Kuon and Jin blinked at that as Akane dropped her piece of meat, her hair shadowing over her eyes for a moment.
"Akane?" Hina and Mikan spoke, a concerned tone in their voice
"I...I think I need some time to….think," Akane whispered, walking back through the doorway she came through, "I'll be in...whatever bedroom is in here...let me know when you guys are heading back home."
"Even when violent and part alien...women are still an oddity," Zaruba muttered.
"...is….she gonna be okay?" Ibuki asked.
"Honestly...I think she's going through some things," Tsubaki answered, "She did recently learn she's part alien."
"It is some rather heavy info to go through…" Kibo added.
"...hey, Ben?" Makoto spoke up.
"Yeah, babe?"
"Mind taking Naegi and the others back to the house? Me and Jenny are gonna try and talk to her."
"...yeah. That sounds like a good idea…" Jenny nodded as she stood up, "Kuon, you're coming too…"
"Why me?!" Kuon complained.
"Honestly...with how much she comes after you, I think she likes you a lot..and trust you enough as a friend," Jenny answered.
"If she calls constantly attacking and stalking me friendship...we need to have an intervention." Kuon replied.
"Can bring it up once she's calmed down...maybe," Makoto muttered as the three walked off, "See ya when we're done, Ben."
"Yeah…" Ben nodded, "Tsubaki, you mind…"
"I'll tell Rook and Max to send Mondo back to our home," Tsubaki stated, "Though if he's working with them on something...it might be a while."
"Fair..." Ben shrugged as he, Lambda, and the rest of the Hope's Peak crew began to walk off.
"Are those three even gonna get through ms. meat head's thick head?" Miu asked as she and Ibuki were being carried by Kibo.
"I'm betting by the end it results in her trying to fight Kuon again…" Ibuki muttered.
"If that happens and chaos ensues, it's on you and your girlfriend Tennyson…" Jin frowned as he began to walk off.
"I don't know...words can be powerful once you reach out to someone," Naegi stated.
"I agree with the optimist." Ben smiled.
"Ugh…" Akane sighed as she was crouched down in the corner of an empty room, a depressed look in her eyes, "Mmm…"
"Akane?" her ears twitched as she heard Makoto's voice, followed by the sound of the door opening up, "You okay?"
"...go away…" Akane whispered as she lowered her head.
"...damn. She really is depressed," Kuon muttered as he, Jenny and Makoto walked in.
"It's..pretty surprising yet concerning," Jenny admitted as they walked over, "Akane, are you sure you're okay?"
"...pfft! Of course I am!" Akane grinned as she stood up, "I mean, I just learned I'm part Appoplexian and...oh hey! I got it right! Points for me!" she laughed...which started to become forced at this point as it began to die down into a sigh, "It's not even funny...and no...I really am not."
"It's a lot to take in, ain't it?" Makoto asked as she put a hand on her shoulder.
"It is...and honestly it explains something to me…" Akane whispered, looking down at her reflection in the metal floor, "When I was a kid, I always felt...like the odd one out. It doesn't help I lived in a very poor area where people died frequently...it's why I never made friends or learned anyone's names except my siblings'…"
"Siblings?" Jenny repeated.
"Yeah...I'm the eldest sister to a lot, but my step-mom and dad….I kept praying they change, but they never did….I don't even know about the rest of my family on their sides of the family, especially from dad…" Akane continued, "...Not that it bothered me...I lived in a crappy place filled with crappy people...only time I was able to get some form of sleep was in the library because it had air conditioning, free water and a bathroom to use. For food...I made sure to find what food I could for me and my siblings...even going as far as to fighting people for their food. When I was old enough, I took some part time jobs to help bring money into the place since my parents were unemployed...and the fact a bunch of people would attack me, calling me a freak of nature...now I know why that is...I'm not even fully human..."
"..." Kuon said nothing as he paid close attention.
"...these men that often came after you...did they do anything...inappropriate to you by any chance?" Makoto asked, already not liking where this was going.
"Dunno...all I know is that my step-mom's boyfriends often gave me massages and had me do weird jobs for them, like serve them food while not wearing any underwear," Akane answered, "Then there's the guys that would grab my ass when I took up a part-time job as a waitress...don't know why they did that...must've tried to get rid of a fly."
"...y...you do realize that's sexual harassment, right?" Jenny pointed out.
"Sexual what?"
"...oh dear…." Jenny whispered as she and Makoto looked at each other in concern and worry.
"...did you get your little siblings out of that hellhole?" Kuon asked, finally deciding to speak up as he tried to calm himself.
"Yeah…" Akane answered, "While I was still a waitress, this old guy kept bothering me and kept telling me I had an amazing body...turns out he was a gymnastics coach and he offered to train me in gymnastics...I took his offer up and once I made enough money, I managed to buy a place for me and my little siblings to live...then I got accepted into Hope's Peak, so the nice elderly couple living next door agreed to look after my siblings for me until I graduated and got a well paying job to help keep things steady...heh...what am I saying?" she forced a chuckle out of herself as she crouched back down, "Who's gonna hire a freak like me now…?"
"..." Kuon walked over and tapped his fist on Akane's head, making her look up at him, "You're an idiot...but that's not anything new." he sighed, "But you're a good sister, and a good person. So what if you're a little bit weird? I'm pretty sure before learning that, you never cared what others thought about you. I bet it would be easier if you stopped fighting people all the damn time, but who am I to talk? I'm here cause all my life I've enjoyed using my freakish strength to kick people's ass and not care for the consequences." he sighed, "You got a good reason to keep moving forward don't you? If so you have to get up and keep moving, even if you have to fight your way forward. But if you gotta fight, do it for someone else's sake is what I believe in."
"Yeah...like your siblings," Makoto added as she put a hand on Akane's shoulder, "Trust me...I know what' it's like to group up in the very poor part of town where you're basically treated like garbage...and I know how important family is to someone, and you Akane? You really care for your little siblings if you are willing to go through all that for them."
"You're a very nice person, Akane," Jenny added as she walked over, "To be honest I was a bit nervous around you given your...wild personality, but past that...I see a really good person who just wants to do right for her family...and hey. Maybe your siblings will like the fact that their big sister is part space tiger…"
"...heh...yeah...you might be right about that…" Akane gave a small chuckle at that.
"I mean given how genetics work...so are they…" Kuon blurted out, "And given how you said you have a step-mom...maybe the Appoplexian part of you is from your actual mom's side of the family."
"...yeah...maybe…" Akane whispered before frowning a bit, "But that would mean I'd have to talk to dad...and I doubt he gives a rats ass about me…"
"You could just grab your siblings, bring them here, unload them on the nerds and have them test 'em…" Kuon argued, "Probably be easier, more fun and revenge on the one who made the weird juice that started this whole mess." he smirked.
"...yeah. Maybe I will once I'm free and able…" Akane smiled a bit as she stood up, "Heads up though...one of my little brothers is a biter."
"Yeah I'm sure they are also like you…" Kuon sighed at that, "But not my problem…" he shrugged.
"He's right; it'll be Kajun's." Makoto smiled.
"Isn't that a bit much?" Jenny sweatdropped.
"Don't you recall the slime monster she accidentally created?" Makoto countered.
"...touche," Jenny whispered.
"She sounds like Miu when she causes trouble," Akane laughed a bit.
"Which is very often," Kuon added, "Lest we forget the robot-octopus….or her attempt at recreating Mogera from Godzilla and it went berserk."
"Well yeah...but didn't Garo take care of that last one?" Akane asked as they began to walk off.
"That Miu girl tried to recreate Mogera?" Makoto blinked.
"She did...but she ended up making the Showa era look," Jenny sighed, earning a look from Makoto, "...We had a Kaiju movie marathon beforehand….we prayed. Prayed Miu not to recreate Mecha Godzilla or Mecha King Ghidorah."
"...I would've liked to see Garo fight them," Akane muttered with a light blush, "...Hey guys?"
"No f-" Kuon began before Akane pulled him, Makoto, and Jenny into a hug.
"Thanks...I guess I needed to hear that…"
"Great," Kuon sighed, accepting that this was happening.
"Oh just take the hug, you grump," Jenny and Makoto whispered to him as they hugged Akane back.
"Mm…" Kuon muttered as he hugged her back.
"So...who's hungry? I think I smelled something from what I assumed is the cafeteria," Akane said as she released the hug.
"I think Ben's grandpa is cooking something," Jenny guessed.
"..."
"Nope...We're eating back at their place," Kuon interjected.
"Oh...eh. Fair enough," Akane shrugged, "Weird enough, it kinda smells like what was in that container in the fridge before we found the lab."
"The all-noodle thing," Kuon explained to Makoto.
"Ohh...I think that was a Chimera Su Genesis Bak Choy," Makoto noted, earning a look from him, "Turns out, the stuff Noel makes? She somehow makes actual extraterrestrial cuisine with just human foods. Her mousse is actually one meant for Petrosapiens."
"Not even gonna ask."
"And funny enough...she doesn't taste her own cooking," Jenny added.
"Isn't that supposed to be the point of cooking?" Kuon asked.
"She's stubborn on it," Makoto noted, "Plus, we just can't get her to do it because no one wants a Noel with teary eyes. It makes ya feel like you've one a horrible sin...like kicking a little puppy that doesn't attack squirrels and lets them cuddle up with 'em."
"I can attest to that," Jenny added.
"Less talky, more foody!" Akane laughed as she walked ahead of everyone else.
"And she's back to her normal self," Jenny smiled.
"She better not try to pounce me…" Kuon muttered.
"Oh you big baby," Makoto giggled a bit, "...Hmm...Though, it makes me wonder something…"
"Oh now what…"
"What if, deep down, the Appoplexian part of her was more or less testing you...as a possible mate?" Makoto whispered.
"A possible...what?!"
"Alrighty, let's get going, Akane-chan! Plus, I can share some tips for those ears and tail for when they're permanent!" Makoto beamed.
"Wait, wait, wait! What do you mean by that!?" Kuon exclaimed.
"That's nice of ya, Makoto!" Akane beamed, "Hey, when I do bring my little sibs, can ya make sure I get a recording of what happens if my lil' bro gets all bitey?"
"Is that really neccesary?" Jenny asked with a sweatdrop.
"It is entirely neccesary!" Makoto and Akane laughed.
"Seriously, wh-?!" Kuon began.
"Maybe you're better off ignoring it, Kuon. In my opinion, it'd be simple to roll with it. Makai Knights are to start families early after all~" Zaruba chuckled.
"Not you, too…" Kuon muttered under his breath.
"I'm just saying, I'd like to not fall into another eternal sleep. Though that would mean I'd be stuck with your kid...Can't be worse then sleeping for a few generations…" Zaruba spoke.
"I can't believe this is a conversation we're having…"
"You would not believe the odd conversations I've had." the talking magical ring responded with.
"Oi…"
"...So let me get this straight…" Byakuya began as Ben and the others were back at home, "Akane...as in Akane Owari, AKA...the school's most wildest, battle happy, and food hungry girl...is part Appoplexian…AKA a race of tiger-like feline aliens that are anger-prone, battle happy, and food hungry?"
"Yep," Makoto replied.
"And those ears and tail from earlier will pop out at times when she gets upset until they finally remain a permanent part of her appearance, right?" Hina asked.
"Eeyup."
"...Ugh...and just when I thought there wouldn't be any more chaos in my life…" Byakuya sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose, "I can already feel the dent forming in my wallet just to help feed her…"
"I don't see how that's my problem," Akane muttered, pausing from eating a large plate of food nearby.
"It is for me!"
"Man, you are grouchy…" Sari muttered.
"He is the heir of the Togami name," Kyoko replied.
"That more than explains it then," Sari noted.
"We've been trying to get him to ease out of the douchebag part of him," Ibuki admitted from nearby.
"Well maybe I...know what? Not even gonna try and bother," Byakuya sighed as he went back to his book.
"It's true. We really have been trying to get him to open up," Jenny whispered to Ben and the rest of the Omniteam, "Sometimes we need Kuon to….convince….coerce…" she muttered, trying to find the right word to say.
"Kidnap to get him to come along?" Tsubaki guessed.
"Do you have a better idea? We'd love to hear it." Ibuki argued with an innocent smile.
"Well, I can relate on dealing with the pressure of inheriting the family business," Sari noted, "When my dad got kidnapped by Megatron, I had to take over the business and, even with Bumblebee helping me with parts of it, it was nothing but stress." she frowned, "At least until Powell took over with shady deals behind my back. Really glad dad fired him after we rescued him."
"..." Byakuya said nothing as he lowered his book slowly, "So...there is someone here I can relate to…"
"Hmm?"
"My father had an assistant that was an utter suck up...but only so he could try and steal the company, the inheritance, and mother out from under us…" Byakuya stated, "Only difference after I made my own fortune? I had him fired and blackmailed from all forms of businesses."
"...You mean blacklisted, right?" Makoto asked.
"...Yes. To coin a rather….ugh...Crude phrase...do not mess with the rich kid."
"Amen to that," Sari grinned as she sat down.
"Yes….hmm….tell me. What do you know of OOParts?"

"Well, this ended up being a wild two days…" Ben muttered, "We basically fought a space Mecha Godzilla…"
"HMM?!" Akane nearly gagged on her food at that.
"Dealt with a robot ghost, came back to see the house destroyed...learned one of our former classmates is part Appoplexian…"
"Mmmm," Akane nodded before going back to eating.
"And Byakuya already made friends with the new girl," Ben finished.
"Are we just gonna ignore the whole 'Space Mecha Godzilla' part?" Kuon asked.
"I would since its body is being rendered for other things," Jenny shrugged, "And I refuse to share pictures from my memory banks because it was nuts."
"Yes...very much so," Makoto agreed.
"Let's just relax with what days we have left for our vacations," Tsubaki sighed as she decided to sit down, pulling out a book from her purse as she began to read it.
"What's that?" Noel asked, pausing from grooming Mari with Lambda.
"A book I bought while Jin and I were in England," Tsubaki answered, "It's on the legends of King Arthur."
"Oh you mean like the movies and stuff, sword in the stone, all that stuff like the Disney movie?" Ben asked.
"More or less, but this is more akin to the source material," Tsubaki answered, "Right now I'm on Excalibur, the sword of kings."
"I think one of our teachers brought that up in foreign culture class," Hina noted.
"Anything good?" Noel asked.
"I don't think what you're looking for...and what's in these stories is your type, Noel," Tsubaki replied knowingly.
"Mmm~" Noel pouted as she puffed her cheeks up a bit, "Fine...I'll just get to writing my poem based on Naegi-san and Kirigiri-san."
"Beg pardon?" Naegi and Kyoko blinked at that.
"Noel, no….and no for Jenny and Kibo either," Tsubaki stated.
"Please don't…" Kibo begged, already blushing as he and an equally blushing Jenny tried avoiding looking at each other.
"...Oh they got it so bad," Makoto whispered to Ben with a grin.
"...I will not be denied!" Noel declared as she ran off, leaving a confused Mari and Lambda.
"Noel/Vermillion-san, no!" Jenny and Kibo yelped as they gave chase.
"Noel Vermillion, yes!"
"She's gotten bolder in her romance poems since you two started dating," Tsubaki sighed, looking at Makoto and Ben.
"We know…" the couple sighed at that.
"Let's catch her before…" Mai began with a sigh before the sounds of a horn playing 'La cucaracha' blared outside, "?"
"Hey guys!" The group looked out the window to see the Proto-Truk skid to a halt, the window opened to see Mondo in the driver's seat, "Check it out!"
"...You didn't st-"
"Nope! They're with me!" Mondo grinned as Rook and Max poked their heads out.
"Oh relax...It's all on the up and up...except maybe the stereo system due to local noise pollution laws," Max muttered.
"We have been ruminating on some possible upgrades for Mondo's bike after we fix it up," Rook added.
"...I'm done with today," Byakuya sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, trying to force back the migraine.
"Same…" Tsubaki sighed.
'It'll probably be a while before we're trusted to watch someone's house again…' Naegi thought as a mental bead of sweat went down the wide of his head.
