"Ahh….ahh….ahh…" Albedo panted heavily, sweat pouring from from his brow as his Omnitrix sparked a bit. He was forced to do some….ugh. Training if he wanted to face Ben Tennyson again, and honestly...he'd rather prefer working on recreating his magnum-opus the Ultimatrix rather than working his muscles, "Is this...really necessary...Modula?"
"I grew tired of the question after the first time. The answer will not alter," Modula replied.
"Plus don't wanna become a neet, ya know Al-be-do?" Hazama taunted from nearby, leaning against the wall as he twirled one of his knives.
"What is the point of all this? My transformations more than make up for my lack of combat ability…" Albedo groaned.
"Yes...in theory." Modula replied, "You can use transformations to account for your frail human form...and utter lack of combat ability. But the latter is why your transformations lack any true ability. Your effectiveness in combat stems from letting the forms natural instincts take hold, meanwhile...your better...Ben Tennyson has bested you...how many times now?" he taunted, "Oh yes...each and every time. Even when you had this Ultimate ability, your victory was due to his having to give the Omnitrix over to Vilgax, and then you lost to his droid army. Furthermore after that Tennyson was able to strong arm you into giving up the Ultimatrix, indicating...you are a coward."
"I am not a coward!" Albedo snapped as he shot up, "The situation…"
"He strong-armed you and you buckled," Hazama grinned, "Binded or not...you still gave into your cowardly instincts."
"...you're just taunting me because you lost that damn witch of yours, isn't it?"
"I'll admit...that was freaky, but really all I lost was a means of being lazy." he replied, "But I also think this could be more fun." he chuckled, "You should realize it though, you just can't beat this Ben kid as you are…" he sighed, "Your weak, a coward, and a loser. A pale copy, literally."
"Beating that out of you has been...so far...ineffective. But I guess thats just how it is, you're not of a warrior race, you're a Galvan, a race that only looks for tricks and clever angles. Humans, as weak and unevolved as they are...are a warrior species, one which has fought war amongst itself and survived in such atrocious conditions. Of course you can't beat one, your no warrior." Modula spoke.
"Of course I'm not!" Albedo snapped, "I am a Galvan...one of the most brilliant minds in the universe. I trained under...no. I'm far superior than Azmuth in every way!"
"Then why haven't you recreated your 'magnum-opus' then, Alby?" Hazama grinned.
"I'm still missing a key vital part," Albedo frowned, "A Polymorphic Crystal...and the only person that has one is Inspector 13 of Techadon...both of which are impossible to find."
"And what? You expect one of us to magically bring this crystal to ya?" Hazama asked, "Sorry but no...you want something? Get it yourself, frog boy."
"Grr…"
"Enough," Modula ordered, "Khyber has been entrusted with hunting him down. If anyone can find a Techadon Weapon Master that was given a dishonorable discharge due to letting people see them, it is him."
"So learn to be a good evil genius and be…" Hazama paused, putting his hands together before his face before he parted them slowly, "Patient…"
"...fine," Albedo sighed.
"Good little freak of nature." Hazama smirked.
"Now then…" Mondula gestured to an obstacle course, "Run through it again, Albedo."
"Aw man…" Albedo groaned.
"Well now...this is interesting," Vlad noted, looking at an iPhone, "It appears that Benjamin has vanished after a thief infiltrated the Bellwood Plumber Headquarters."
=Truly?= Alpha asked.
"Official statements from their friends claim they are on a trip of importance and should be gone for a while." Vlad added, "I wondered why the news felt slow. No big name hero to do something stupid or interesting for the vultures..."
"Truly now," Vexus noted as she floated nearby, "Interesting…mayhapes I'll give Jennifer a little visit while..."
"She seems to be in another country," Vlad stated.
"Beg pardon?"
"Yes. It seems she's...oh. If she were not an enemy, I'd praise her for being accepted there."
"Where?"
"Hope's Peak Academy."
"And that is?"
"Well only the Earth's single most prestigious academic institution, which houses young people of amazing talent. Frankly...if not for most of the teenage superhero idiots on Earth hating school...it probably would be an academy full of super powerful youngsters...hmm. Sounds like a comic book rip off when I say it outloud...but...well…"
"Given who we usually deal with…" Vexus trailed off before shaking it off, "N-envermind...but now that I know where Jennifer is….I can hop in for a 'surprise' visit when the opportunity arises."
=I wonder if there was one where I come from. Father would have been in it if there was= Alpha stated.
"Interesting…" Vlad muttered as Hazama was walking past them, "Seems everywhere these kids go...odd things happen."
"Hmm?" Vexus raised a brow as she looked at the article Vlad had pulled up, "'Thanks to the work of Ben Tennyson and his friends, Junko Enoshima had been arrested for attempted Genocide by using Hope's Peak as a means to spread despair across the world.'"
"Oh?" Hazama blinked upon hearing that, taking a few steps back to look at the article, "Really now…attempted Genocide..."
"...bored?" Vlad guessed with a sigh.
"In a way yes, now tell me where I can find this Junko girl."
"...you want her to join us, don't you?" Vexus guessed.
"Hey. If she was able to get Benny-boy's attention, then she's caught my eye," Hazama grinned.
"The article doesn't say, but I have a good guess," Vlad replied, "Given her actions, it's likely she's in solitary confinement awaiting execution. When I return to Earth later, I'll send a copy to Japan to possess an officer to get the information."
"Perfect~," Hazama grinned, "So where's the big scary masked Terminator and Vil? Was hoping to ask for where our Huntsman and his monster mutt are."
=They are currently busy= Alpha replied.
"He and Tarn left to go and talk with someone," Vexus added.
"By talk...I'm guessing conquer and/or destroy," Hazama guessed.
"Most likely."
"Ahh...and I'm guessing Sartana is busy with her own thing...right?" Hazama asked.
"It's Bingo Night," Vexus replied.
"...seriously?"
=Lady Sartana took me once. I was surprised at how dangerous the game is=
"...What? He's pulling my leg. You're pulling my leg."
=I am trying to understand how they're able to survive being dropped into a volcano multiple times in a span of three hours=
"...What kinda Bingo is she playing?!" Hazama gawked a bit, "Like what...do they try and kill one another for a complete bingo card?!"
=Oh, you've been there as well?= Alpha questioned as Vexus started cackling at that.
"...On second thought, I shouldn't have bothered to ask," Hazama deadpanned
"Careful...he learns." Vlad responded.
"Witty…" Hazama muttered...before grinning, "Says the businessman obsessed with their teenage nemesis' mother…"
"You know you're oddly not as good at mocking me on that as said teenager." he smirked.
"..just letting you know? I'll remember that kinda next time I feel...kill happy," Hazama smirked as he walked off.
"I'm already dead." he argued.
"Oh ho that's fine…" Hazama chuckled as he stopped, turning his head to look back at him as his eyes were opened, "So am I in a way~"
"?" Vlad raised a brow at that as Hazama began to walk away.
"...being honest, why do we keep him around?" Vexus asked, "All he seems to do when not out gathering information is being a...what do Earthlings call it nowadays?...oh yes...being an annoying little troll."
=I believe we need him to introduce us to this NOL he has mentioned before= Alpha answered.
"And when are they supposed to show up?" Vexus countered.
=That...I do not know=
"Regardless...I believe we should keep a closer eye on Terumi," Vlad stated, his eyes narrowed a bit as he looked at where the green haired man walked off, "He's hiding something…"
"He always seems to be hiding something," Vexus deadpanned.
"Yes, yet oddly...you can never tell what it is he's hiding," Vlad muttered, "Plus...he doesn't even seem phased by Vilgax nor the Decepticons…"
=...you are proposing an alliance of sorts between the three of us?= Alpha questioned.
"Correct," Vlad nodded, "...At least until we find out who this 'Terumi' truly is. So Vexus...Alpha, will you join me on this?"
"Vilgax is...wary of him," Vexus smirked, "Maybe...we can keep an eye on Terumi for him, and when we have something substantial...we turn it over to him."
=We would be...merely observers in the end= Alpha noted the logic.
"Exactly," Vlad grinned.
Decepticon Outpost 682
"Oh...how wonderful to be reunited with you, oh lord Megatron~!" Tarn bowed to his master as they met up with him at one of their many outposts to avoid enemies and plan for attacks in the far reaches of the galaxy, "Yes truly a historic event has marked itself in the time of Decepticons!"
"Save the bootlicking Tarn, I have much to do," Megatron spoke, "Cybertron is lost to us now. All I have left...is to find Optimus Prime and seek my revenge. After that is an accursed waiting game till the planet is liveable again."
"Yes...very true, lord Megatron," Tarn nodded as he stood up, "But worry not...I believe I may have something that may catch your interest."
"Oh?" Megatron raised a 'brow' in interest, "Tell me, Tarn...what is it?"
"It will be better to show…" Tarn stated as he turned to a doorway, "You may let him in."
Silence befell the area as the steel doors began to depart, the visage of Vilgax slowly being seen as the doors opened up enough for him to walk through.
"Lord Megatron, I present to you…" Tarn began as he stepped aside, letting Vilgax approach Megatron, "Lord Vilgax."
"Hmm…" the two growled as they stared at the other.
"So...you are this Vilgax I've heard much about," Megatron noted.
"And you are Megatron...leader of the Decepticons...scourges of the galaxy," Vilgax stated back.
"I wanna live!" a Decepticon goon shouted in fear of both world conquerors in one room, and jumped out one of the doors leading outside.
"COWARD!" Lugnut's voice shouted from outside.
"...A truly loyal soldier?" Vilgax guessed.
"Yes...perhaps too loyal at times," Megatron muttered.
"I know the feeling...though mine is a manipulative little worm by the name of Psyphon…"
"So you have the worst version of Starscream…" Megatron compared, "Sounds just as disappointing…"
"He truly is," Vilgax nodded before he decided to change the subject, "Now then...I understand you have trouble with a certain planet known as Earth...and one of its protectors."
"I do…" Megatron growled, "Optimus Prime…" he clenched a fist tightly, "No Autobot before him has ever vexed me the way he has."
"Yes...I can relate to that feeling…" Vilgax growled, his eyes glowing menacingly as he gripped his own fist tightly, "Being humiliated by that brat Ben Tennyson…suffering such losses time and time again…!"
"Heh...so I find someone who understands." Megatron chuckled.
"Yes...which is why I come to you today," Vilgax said as he began to calm down, "I am creating a Cabal...one made of those who wish vengeance on those who humiliated them. Specifically...those who call Earth...home."
"...I'm listening…"
"I had hoped to gain your interest." Vilgax chuckled.
"Mmm…" Khyber growled out, examining the ground within a darkened area as his beast sat nearby, "The ground here has been disturbed...he was out here, most likely testing some new contraption…"
"Grr…"
"I know...those from Techadon are known to be hard to find," Khyber stated to his beast as he stood up, "...all the more worth it when we find Inspector 13." he looked around once more, "The fact he failed so greatly must mean, he is ashamed and can't really go far. So he would stay on Earth, for a chance at revenge, only by bringing in the newest model Omnitrix could he reclaim his honor among his kind. But where would he hide...close to Tennyson...to study, and wait for an opportunity." he blinked, "Undertown; noisy, busy, and in plain sight. Tennyson probably wouldn't even notice him spying from the shadows."
=Hmm...interesting= a near-monotone voice spoke up, making Khyber tense as he and his beast stood ready =You analyzed that just from examining the disturbed earth before you...I guess the rumors of you are true, Khyber=
"...a spy drone," Khyber whispered, looking over his shoulder to see a floating black sphere with a red lens on it.
=Correct. This way I won't have to leave my temporary home until I gain what I need form the human Ben Tennyson= the voice stated from the drone =And if you think I will let you hunt me..let alone the person I am gathering information on…= he paused as a trio of large, faceless robots resembling armor landed before Khyber, surrounding him and his beast =That I am afraid is an error=
"Well...I wouldn't want this to be boring now would I?" he smirked, slowly pulling his dagger out, "Fine then...the outer two are mine."
=Outer…=
"My pet needs their exercise," Khyber countered as the beast pounced the centermost robot, only for it to be forced off by a barrier forming around it, "Hmm?"
=Prototypes I have been working on= the voice stated as the barrier robot stood up =Given how I have been banished from Techadon, I've had to gather as much resources as I could to create something to counteract Ben Tennyson and his team=
Khyber merely whistled as his beast changed forms via the Nemetrix into Terroranchula. It growled and tackled the robot over, its barrier activating only to no effect as the predator already has a natural resistance to the electrical energy that seemed to comprise the barrier. It growled and began stabbing its legs into its torso repeatedly before slamming its head in and ripping out a great deal of internal circuitry. After a moment, it changed once again to Crabdoser and proceeded to crush the rest of its body.
=Hmm? Another Omnitrix?= the voice noted as the drone examined Crabdozer =No….this one seems more of a imitation...one that seems to focus on intergalactic predators...interesting...= the other two Techadon Robots held their hands out, sending out a large pair of nets that engulfed Crabdozer =It would seem I'll have something interesting to examine…=
"Correction...if you come out of this alive," Khyber countered before he let out a long whistle, causing Crabdozer's eyes to become slit as electricity began to crackle off it.
The change was...massive even compared to its previous form. The new predator stood twice the size of Crabdozer, maybe even larger. The beast was an odd but amazing mixture of reptilian and canid. Its body was covered in bright blue scales all over, broken up by white spikes along its four legs...where the scales began turning a dull white, and thickened into an armored hide, as white tufts of fur sprouted from the sides of each leg. The same dull white plating formed along its back in rows, broken up by strips of matching white fur going all the way down to its wide and powerful tail, where the plating grew larger and jagged into a large pair of spikes at the tip. Its jaw lengthened into a snout, with the top of its head covered in blue scales, and its lower jaw covered in white plating ending in a spike at its chin, the tip of its nose was black like a canines nose, with its scales branching out the sides of its head like large ears, and two giant forward facing horns. It growled as the white armoring on its body...began to glow and darken into an almost gold color while its claws began shining an electric blue. Electricity crackled off it before it let out a loud howl, the electricity covering it rising up and burning the nets.
=?! Impossible...a...a Raizinogre?= the voice whispered in slight surprise =But...that is impossible. That species is long extinct=
"Yes...I went to great effort to get this sample," Khyber chuckled, "A predator that is feared by species across history. And now...it is but a form of my pet...Zero…" he spoke as the Raizinogre looked down to him, "Don't play with your toys too long."
The Raizinogre growled before pouncing at one of the Techadon Robots, one of its front claws raised up as it slashed down on it, causing it to fall into multiple pieces. The other was about to fire something at the beast before it was sent flying through a few trees when Raizinogre slammed its tail into it. The remaining Techadonrobot got up real quick as it held its hands out, its fingers opening to let out a series of energy bullets...which had little to no effect on the Raizinogre.
"Oh...that's adorable." Khyber laughed as Raizinogre pounced and bit the Techadon Robot's upper torso off, "I think he likes your toys, and it is oh so rare to find him an adequate chew toy."
=Hmm...it would appear I have made a slight error= the voice noted.
"Seems you do a lot of that," Khyber taunted, "A hunt takes time, patience. You gather all that you can before you actually go out for your prey. You're here because you never learned that. You came in without learning all you can about your prey. For that, you've lost it all."
=It was one mistake, it will not happen again=
"What...just by thinking you're smart enough? You literally failed trying that exact approach." Khyber chuckled, "Meanwhile...Tennyson is getting more and more dangerous. In Fact, I should warn you...if you anger Tennyson now that he has a life mate...he won't go easy on you and humiliate you...if a fool like you were to push him...he'd probably end you, Inspector 13."
=...explain= Inspector 13 said as the drone floated near Khyber.
"There is a saying here on Earth…'do not anger the nice ones'...and that applies to Tennyson fully," Khyber stated, "Last time you were just an annoyance, a bad day, but...given your record. You will make a mistake."
=I do not make mistakes=
"You do...because you don't understand the emotional reaction of life forms. You will do something to Tennyson's mate, use her as bait, or study her...hurt her...and when he sees this...he will snap...and end you. No deals, no beatings, just pure demise." he smirked, "But...that's illogical, Ben Tennyson prides himself on being a peaceful fighter, always disabling and never taking a finishing blow." he spoke up quickly, "Is what you're thinking. And that is fundamentally why...you will always fail. Because if you think there is no killer instincts within the boy...well then, it's always those who think the beast won't bite...who fall prey to its fangs."
=...hmm…= Inspector began to podner at that before the drone moved back, its lens glowing a bit as a holographic image of a humanoid figure in a jumpsuit appeared before him =Duly noted...now tell me. What do you truly want from me?=
"I am just the messenger. The ones who most want to see you...are far more knowledgeable to answer that."
=...and you will not leave me alone unless I comply and go with you=
"Oh, I'm the peaceful option…" Khyber smirked, "We have some individuals who are more willing to...go about it the direct way. Believe me, we don't need you alive to be useful to us. But you coming in willingly...well, I imagine that is the better option, isn't it?"
=...=
"Am I to take that as a 'yes'?" he asked, "Because...a 'no' works for me just fine as well. We've been itching to test out the many...many new forms we've acquired from our expeditions across space and to Plumber owned nature preserve planets." he motioned to his pet, "Believe it or not, I think we have something far worse for you."
=...Considering your predator-based Omni Matrix can turn your beast into one of the galaxy's seven deadliest predators...very well..= Inspector 13 nodded before the hologram vanished =We will meet so that I may comply with these 'geniuses' of yours=
"Hmm...Excellent, but also a pity," Khyber admitted as his pet reverted to its original form.
Armodrillo panted, the yellow of his armor a deep scarlet, as he stood atop a massive beast with eight legs engine in saw-like claws, several eyes with a few punctured, and its massive jaw broken along with several rows of teeth within it. He twitched before his body seemed to bulged and melt, changing back into the human state of Albedo.
"Six months ago, I had to call it off," Mondula noted, walking over, "And yet, now...here you stand atop its fallen form, the victor at last." Albedo looked over to him, still panting, "Your repeated question...do you see the answer now?"
"...I do," Albedo whispered, looking down at the fallen beast beneath him, "I thought I could simply outsmart the beast and fight it with something it could be weak against...no. I was thinking like a coward...rather than focus on simply my intellect…" he paused as he looked at his bruised hand, "...I'd have to rely on my physical prowess as well...That's how Tennyson's always beaten me. He practices with his forms while I just rely on their base instincts...meaning he knows every move I would make."
"Indeed. He, much like you now, learned the limits of what each one can do and push them past those limits," Mondula spoke, "When it is time to strike, you will now be ready for him."
"Yes, but it is not enough," Albedo frowned, looking at his sparking pseudo-Omnitrix, "A secret weapon is always needed on the chance something goes wrong."
"True," he mused, "I mean, your enemy is Ben Tennyson afterall, Vilgax's greatest nemesis."
"Yes...and like before, we are working together to insure his demise," Albedo added, "However unlike last time, I won't let him manipulate me and backstab me again."
"Yes…" Modula mused, "Well it's time we move along with our plans. Training you to be a decent combatant was but one step."
"Hmm?" Albedo raised a brow at that, "What do you mean….what else is there?" 'If it involves being rid of this accursed addiction to chili-fries...I'll more than accept what else is in store.'
"You have the physical, but now you need to work on the strategical," Mondula replied, "I've collected several video recordings of battles Ben Tennyson has been in. You are to study them and point out any moment in them you would be able to take him down in his current form on them."
"Ahh...understood then," Albedo nodded as he began to walk off, looking down at his pseudo-Omnitrix, 'Soon, Tennyson...you'll rue the day we meet again once my magnum opus is complete once more..'
"Mmm...the Aokigahara forest, Japan's suicide forest…" Hazama noted, walking through a forest filled with various trees reaching up the the sky, "So many people died here...taking their own life because they were done with life's bullshit, their lover cheating on them, or because they failed at life…." he listed before taking in a deep inhale, "Oooooooh yeah~ Such splendid despair….A real shame this place was destroyed thanks to the Black Beast...would've loved to get a place out here."
"Why am I not surprised you decided to come here of all places?" Plasmius sighed as he phased through the floor.
"So did ya find her?"
"Yes and it's a bit worse than I expected," Plasmius replied as he pulled out a folder and handed it over to him, letting the fedora-wearing green-haired man open it and see what was inside, "They introduced her to a Phobiasapien for five minutes without the mask on its head and she's been locked into an isolated ward in the mental ward of the Japan Plumbers base."
"Huh...I see," Hazama noted before grinning, "Well...should be easy enough."
"Beg your pardon?"
"Listen here, Vladdy, there's one thing I'll tell you about despair…" Hazama said as he wrapped an arm around him, "Even if you're dirven to complete grief, experience such a mind-shattering horror...or hell, be traumatized beyond belief, there is a little spark in you...one where someone as...oh say myself can help reignite with a few simple words...helping to get that flame roaring again...possibly even better~"
"...Why are you so interested in this girl anyways?" Plasmius asked as he phased through his arm, letting Hazma nearly trip up, "Unlike the rest of us, she's a normal human girl."
"Correction….she is a normal human girl that nearly caused a mass genocide," Hazama corrected as he stood up fully, dusitng himself off a bit, "As for why? Well...given that little article you showed me, I decided to look at all the information regarding her and...color me impressed. It's almost like looking at a female version of...well, me."
'Why do I have the feeling he's going to say something crazy or stupid?' Plasmius thought.
"Plus...well given the whole hero/villain schtick we're going with in this little club of ours, it should be simple really. Every Captain America needs a Bucky, every Batman needs a Robin, and every Joker…" Hazama paused, lifting his fedora as his eyes glowed a bit, "Needs a Harley…"
'Oh, I was wrong...it was crazy and stupid!' Plasmius mentally deadpanned.
"So where is the base?" Hazama asked.
"Tokyo. Well, the topmost part of it. If you want to get to her, we'll need to go to UnderTokyo," Plasmius replied.
"Great, we're gonna need the smarty, don't we?"
"No. UnderTokyo is an underground alien settlement that's been there since 797CE where the Japanese believed them to be Yokai," Plasmius explained.
"Oh? Really now…" Hazama noted with a grin.
"...What are you thinking?"
"Oh not much. Just...might send the Plumbers a Message after we 'visit' that Plumbers base in Tokyo," Hazama explained.
"And earn the ire of the others because we're trying to be discreet?" Plasmius reminded.
"Oh please...I'll leave a symbol of a teddy bear, meaning it was someone they didn't know of thanks to that stupid sister of hers spilling all the beans," Hazama snorted, "It'll just mean that Junko didn't share everything with her."
"...Noted," Plasmius whispered, his eyes narrowed as a portal opened near them, "Now come. The faster we can get this done...the sooner I can tend to this growing headache of mine form how stupid this plan of yours is."
"Oh that's just mean, Vladdy."
"D'oh…! Satsuma Mandarins!" Plasmius growled out in annoyance.
"...Pfft! D-did you just use fruit as a curse word?!" Hazama snickered at that.
"..."
"What?" he asked, only to be blasted away, "Bitch move!" he cried, flying through the forest.
"Don't question my swear methods and I won't question your sanity," Plasmius snorted.
"...fair...I suppose," Hazama's voice groaned.
In a lone room covered in padding...and many scribbled words and pictures, a white-haired, pale-faced Junko shook and muttered something to herself in a corner of it, her eyes wide as she was in a straight jacket...on top of a straight jacket while a camera focused on her.
=Prisoner Enoshima Junko status update...still the same= a voice spoke from a speaker in the room =Seriously...how's a human like her capable of causing a near mass genocide by herself?=
=She apparently had an Ultimate Talent...an analytical one that lets her think faster than everyone= another added =...and it seemed to bore her from what Ikusaba Mukuro shared with us=
=But how did that drive her to wanting to attempt mass genocide?=
=From what I understand...she wanted to prove that despair could topple hope easily by driving people into a hopeless situation=
=Seriously?=
=Yeah. She didn't expect Ben 10, though=
=Nobody expects him. It's why we have a Code Ben now for when a lot of stuff gets destroyed in a single area, right?=
=Yeah, that's...ah...I don't think we've turned this off, have we?=
=You did not= a third voice informed.
=GAH!= the first two yelped before the speaker turned off.
Junko stopped shaking for a moment the moment she heard it...the sounds of footsteps echoing throughout the area...despite the padding covering her room. Did they finally come to finish her off? Did they bring her backstabbing flat-chested sister to finish her off? Or did they bring that...thing back to further break her? Please let it not be that...thing...anything but that...thing…
"Hello~"
"?!" Junko jumped as she turned, seeing Hazama standing in the doorway, using his fedora to hide his eyes, "..."
"I know what you're thinking...you're not one of the people looking after me," Hazama stated, lifting his head up as he approached her, "No...I am your liberator...and someone to help you remind who you really are…"
"..."
"...Hmm...Ah geeze...They really worked you over…" Hazama noted, rubbing his chin in thought as he examined her, "Not a verbal response or anything...Oh~ I got an idea," he smirked, moving away from her as he reached into the doorway...and pulled in a panting Tengu-like alien as he was covered in multiple cuts before being tossed down, "See this guy? He was one of the people watching you…"
"Y...you...you s-" the tengu began before Hazama slammed his foot on one of his legs, a crunching sound being heard as he screamed out in pure pain.
"Did I say you can speak?" Hazama questioned with a grin, "How's about you stay quiet while teacher is teaching his new student a lesson?"
"...stu….dent?" Junko repeated.
"Yup," Hazama nodded as he looked at her, "You see Junko, long before we had buff guys in spandex, alien robots that can transform, women in sexy kinky outfits...and the occasional super-powered animals, there was the gentleman villain, and their all time favorite villainous act? Tying someone to a train track. It's simple, inexpensive, satisfying to watch, and most important...deadly. But here's a little beauty for the captured...even if they are tied up, there is a slight...very slight glimmer of hope that they might escape...only for soul crushing despair to hit them soon."
"Must...contact….H…" the tengu began, reaching for his Plumbers badge before one of Hazama's daggers stabbed into it and his hand, "GAH!"
"Lesson's not over, shitface," Hazama growled, his eyes opened for a few moments before he pulled out his own device, showing an image of a train track above a large shining city underground, "Now then...the Gentleman villain had these old school timebombs. Three sticks of dynamite wired to a simple alarm clock, and you know what was oh so poetic about that? Is the victim heart's a ticking in their ears as it counts down. Tick...tock. Tick...tock…" he grinned before frowning, "Nowadays we have digital alarm clocks...sure you can wire bombs to it, but it's just not the same….but wait..." he paused, holding a hand over his ear as a sound began to play from the image as the screen moved to show a teddy bear on the tracks...with the sound of a train incoming, "Oh ho~! There's the ticking sound..the sound of a train coming~! Tick...tock! TICK! TOCK!" he laughed insanely as the train began to close in on the teddy bear, "And the sound only stops….when the train hits the victim like….so."
As soon as the train hit the teddy bear, a loud massive explosion went off, destroying the train tracks and knocking the train right off the rails into the city below as the train cars fell onto various buildings.
"?!" the tengu's eyes widened in pure horror upon seeing what happened on screen, the sounds of people screaming going off as more explosions went off..most likely from any vehicles that were caught up in the chaos, "Th...those...those were innocent people!"
"Innocent?" Hazama repeated, looking down at him as Junko focused on the screen before her, "Listen...the people of ancient japan considered you guys as Yokai...and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't most yokai kill and eat people? I was just doing the people of Japan a favor...and taking out a bunch of monsters. Yes they were hopefully and had dreams and all that...but eventually..." his eyes opened back up as his bloodlust began to permeate the room, "Despair will catch up with them, ruining any chance of a happy life ever...again..because that's the truth you shitbags have forgotten...and I don't just mean Japan. Earth...the entire galaxy has forgotten this single...honest truth….the truth of despair~"
"The...wh-" the tengu began before Hazama...Terumi grabbed one of his wings and twisted it, "G-GAAH!"
"Yes...this whole world...no. This whole galaxy, Junko my dear...it's filled with nothing but lies. Lies. Lies! Lies! LIES! LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES!" Terumi declared with an insane grin, his hair spiking up as his fedora fell to the ground, all while Junko focused on both the screen and him now, "And you realized it, too, at some point, my dear, but you were forced to forget it...all because of these so called heroes getting in your way! But no...no no no no no! This isn't who you are...the real you is trapped in there, waiting to come right back out and start wrecking shit up again!"
"...d..des...pair…" Junko repeated in a whisper before the alarms began to go off, "?!"
"Oh? Now what is this?" Terumi noted, slowly turning to see a bunch of Plumber Agents in the hallway, all aiming their blasters right at him, "A welcoming committee?"
"You...what have you done…!" the leader Plumber snapped.
"Hmm?" Terumi blinked at that, "...oh~ You mean that little lesson I was presenting? Yeah...I didn't want Junko and...what was this guy's name?" he pondered, looking down at the heavily injured tengo, "...eh probably not important. Point is, I didn't want to keep my lesson to just them..oh no. I had to share with the entire base!"
"There were innocent people in there!" a human Plumber growled in pure anger, "Most of whom are our families!"
"Well they were there at the wrong time then," Terumi countered with a grin, "Such unexpected and despair-filled ends for them..not being able to see the one they loved one last time...or even send out one last message as they face their death while facing their god!...oh wait..." he 'gasped' before grinning, "I forgot...there are no gods. When you die...you just rot in the ground while your soul just floats endlessly in a blank void...with no chance of ever escaping, so if any of you guys believe in a heaven, hell...or whatever afterlife you believe in...spoilers; it ain't real~"
"...you...you're a monster…" the lead Plumber whispered with wide, horrified eyes.
"Oh I'm a 'monster'...pfft. Haven't heard that many times before," Terumi huffed before tilting his neck to the side, doding a laser aimed right at his head.
"Plumbers...no matter what happens, we cannot let him or Junko escape," the Lead Plumber ordered, his eyes narrowed as he aimed a shaking blaster at Terumi, "We can't let these...these monsters roam free."
"But...sir," a female Plumber with fox ears and nine fox tails spoke up, "What about the civilians in UnderTokyo? We need to send a team t-"
"If we don't' stop him here, more lives will end up being taken!" the lead Plumber snapped.
"Oh? A cop possibly wanting to kill someone over saving lives?" Terumi questioned as his smirk grew, "Oh how ironic...but then again, police...Plumbers...any 'law' really is pretty corrupt. All it takes is the right push…" he paused as he dodged another laser aimed at his head, "To drive someone insane with grief and anger."
"MEN, FIRE NOW!" the Lead Plumber ordered as he and his Fellow Plumbers began to fire off at Terumi, the kitsune girl seemingly hesitant in firing her shots.
While Terumi was busy dodging the laser blast and laughing maniacally at their attempts to hit him, Junko focused on the dagger stabbed into the tengu's hand, all the words Terumi told her and the video she watched swirling within her mind. Deep down she started to remember something...a feeling...no. A long need she had long forgotten about...one she wanted to enforce on the whole world by using the school of Hope's Peak as ground zero...but she was stopped by Ben Tennyson and his merry little band of hope-bringing heroes...hope. Despair...hope...despair….hope….despair...these began to echo within her mind as she felt like something was piecing itself back together.
"Come on, space cops!" Terumi laughed as he jumped over the Plumbers firing at him, "Try and hit me! Make me bleed! Give ourselves the revenge you deserve by killing me!"
"Sit, we need to retreat!" the kitsune girl shouted to her commanding officer, "It's obvious w-"
"SHUT IT! THIS THING NEEDS TO DIE!" the Lead Plumber snapped, tears of grief and anger in his eyes as he fired at Terumi in blind rage, "That train...my wife and child were on that train, wanting to come visit me at work...and this MONSTER KILLED THEM WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT!"
"So that's what it's about, eh?!" Terumi grinned, using one of his other daggers to deflect a laser into Junko's room, "That train had your wife and kid in it, eh chief?! Well guess what, you might end up joining them soon enough if you keep this shit behavior up!"
"URUSEI, BAKEMONO!" the Lead Plumber snapped, "I WILL NEVER LET YOU LEAVE HERE ALIVE!"
"...Funny you say that…" Terumi grinned darkly as he stood straight, "I'm not the one dying…"
"Nani? Wh-" the Lead Plumber began before his eyes widened, feeling the touch of metal piercing through his neck.
"Upupupupupupu…" Junko's voice chuckled from behind him, making him slowly turn his eyes to see her standing behind him...her bindings off as she held the dagger into his neck.
"B...bakana….h-" The Lead Plumber began before Junko swiftly pulled the dagger out, letting his blood spray out into the metal hallway as life began to vanish from his eyes.
"Commander!" one of the Plumbers shouted, turning to fire at Junko before she stabbed him right in the face through his helmet.
"Yes...yes...I remember…" Junko whispered, a sadistic gleeful smile growing on her face as swirls appeared within her pupils, "The sweet succulent taste of despair..the smell of people engulfed in it...the feeling of it~" she moaned out a it before swiftly turning, using the dagger to slit the throats of three more Plumbers, "I truly missed this~!"
"And there….we go~" Terumi grinned as he watched Junko going on a bloody rampage on the Plumbers. His eye then caught the form of the fleeing kitsune girl before he threw his hand out, hsi dagger hitting her right in the shoulder as she was knocked against the melta wall, "Nuh uh uh...you get to stay and watch, kitsune-onna~"
"Ah...ahh…" the kitsune girl whispered in worry, her head being forced to turn to watch Junko's massacre.
"Hehehe...hmm?" Terumi tensed for a moment, blinking as he turned his head to his left. His eyes opening wide as he felt something getting closer, "The hell is that?" his voice...honestly sounding concerned.
"Grr…" a figure in a white coat grunted as they ran across the city, his body moving with amazing speed as they passed speeding cars on the street. They suddenly jumped into the air and cleared an entire apartment complex before landing on a roof, his eyes focused on the building that acted as a cover for the Japanese Plumer HQ.
"I smell something disgusting within there…" Zaruba spoke up, his voice sounding upset, "Kuon...whatever it is...destroy it," were his only orders.
"Ah…" He drew his sword and thrust it up into the air, gold light in the form of circuit board patterns covering him until his armor fully formed in a golden flash of light. Garo growled as he lowered his sword, "I don't know what it is...but I know...I'm going to cut it down!"
"...Oh...I...actually felt that," Terumi whispered in slight worry, Junko panting right behind him as she stood above the mutilated bodies of the Plumbers...all while the kitsune girl looked on in horror, "...uh...Plasmius, mind calling out a portal? ...Like...now?!"
=What...already…?=
"Now!"
A wall suddenly dented in as something was breaking in. A sword suddenly stabbing through and cutting its way through slowly only confirmed it for Terumi.
=Alright alright, yeesh...you sound honestly spooked= he muttered as a portal formed nearby for him and Junko.
"Alright Junko dear, enough playtime. Let's get a move on," Terumi ordered.
"Aww~ But I didn't get to see my skank of a s-"
"You can do it another time!" Terumi snapped, grabbing her arm as he dragged her into the portal.
"Rah!" Garo growled as he finally broke through, "Kisama!" he shouted, seeing what was in the room, "RAH!" he roared, rushing at them with the intent to cut them down. Terumi was able to get a decent look at Garo's helmet just before the portal closed letting the knight swing and cut nothing, "Damn it…"
"Ah….ah…" Garo turned to see the shaking, terrified kitsune girl sit there on her knees, her shoulder still embedded into the wall by Terumi's dagger, "M...minna...th-they're all dead…"
Garo looked around before sheathing his sword and walking over to her, "I...I'm sorry…" he spoke slowly as his armor faded away to show Kuon in his white hooded jacket with a mask covering his face from the nose down.
"Whatever that was...it was no Horror...and not mortal…" Zaruba spoke up, "But it must be cut down...without remorse…" he frowned.
"Agreed," Kuon whispered, gripping the dagger as he slowly pulled it out of the kitsune girl, "Contact your superiors…" he spoke, getting her attention as she looked up at him "And don't blame yourself…" he added, "I promise you...I'm going to cut that monster down…" he began walking off.
The kitsune girl said nothing as she looked on at him, her worries and fear starting to fade slowly. She then quickly shook her head as she quickly pulled her badge out, "Th...This is Miyu of the Japanese Plumbers Branch, calling out to any Plumbers HQ listening. I am requesting an immediate rescue team for a bombing in UnderTokyo...and to issue a warning to all Plumbers branches on Earth."
"I really hate getting involved in this stuff…" Kuon sighed, already outside and standing on a tall building overlooking the city, "But I can't let monsters like that exist in the world."
"Oh...well you're back," Vexus noted as she and Alpha noticed Plasmius walk in, "So did Terumi get that Junko girl out of jail?"
"Yes….and I've learned something of him," Plasmius stated as he reverted back to Vlad, "Terumi...is a literal monster."
"Hmm?" Vexus raised a brow at that.
"Recall what we did to the Incurseans before they took over the Earth?" Vlad questioned her, "Well guess what...apparently he was holding back, because he killed an entire neighborhood filled with people...by bombing both a train track that was above said neighborhood, and the train that was on it when it ran over the bomb he planted there!"
"Hmm…" Vilgax noted, "I knew he was a wild card...but I also could tell controlling him will be...difficult." he grumbled as two of his tentacles wriggled around as if to demonstrate his frustration, "I am no fool. Something...inside of him is a force of primordial evil. I should know...I merged with one once. But controlling such a force...is a challenge. Anything else of note?"
"Well glad you asked. It seemed that he's not as fearless as we might believe. Something...something in Japan scared him," Vlad explained.
"Scared him?"
"I don't know...but I heard something busting down a wall in the distance of his call...and...he was panicked. Distressed, something along those lines." he sighed, "I didn't want to question it at the moment."
=So there is something in Japan even he is afraid of…= Alpha noted.
"Yes and honestly...if it was able to scare Terumi, I do not want to encounter whatever it was," Vlad admitted.
"But this is...interesting." Vilgax noted, "And...wonderful timing…" he turned to Vlad, "I was just thinking...we should prepare to...contain chaotic elements." he smirked.
"...what do you have in mind?" Vlad questioned in intrigue.
"You work closely with...supernatural phenomenon?" Vilgax asked, getting a simple nod, "What is Terumi...if not just a demon from hell?" he held his clawed hand up, "I do believe...this is your field of expertise...and have dealt with such technology that can...contain the unexplained…" he chuckled, "But...not yet, I feel he is holding out on me, something...big. When he makes his move for that...then...well...we do what our kind does best." he had one of his tentacles move in a throat slicing manner.
"...You've caught my full attention, Lord Vilgax," Vlad grinned, "But sadly...there is something I am missing from this plan."
"Hmm?"
"While yes I delve into the supernatural, there is no doubt Terumi has some sort of magical seal on him or something when he still controlled that witch of his," Vlad explained before smirking, "Luckily...I happen to know of someone who is bit of an expert in magic….but to find him...I would need Khyber's help in tracking him down."
"I'm sure the hunter wouldn't mind a foray into the...supernatural hunting grounds." Vilgax offered, "Alpha, as you are the best at...keeping an eye, do keep an eye on our little monsters...I'm sure you are interested in what data you can gain from them."
=He is...Anomalous...an unknown integer...I do not like unknowns= he spoke up =They...lead to complications. The girl is...interesting, but...I've studied her psychology...she is...amusing, but of no concern to me=
"Well trust me when I say this…" Vexus spoke up as she looked over at him, "Even if nothing is of any concern...it's best not to turn your back on it, despite what species they are. I should know…" she stated as she frowned, "I fell for that one too many times against Jennifer's mother and her human companions."
"There is also Sartana," Vilgax noted before frowning, "Where are the others?"
"The daily lessons for Albedo should be over in a few minutes," Vlad replied, looking at his watch, "As for Lady Sartana…"
"Buenos Noches, amigos!" Sartana declared as she opened the door, smoke coming off her dress, "Ah, quite the time! Alpha, the Chipotles send their regards and guacamole!"
=Thank you, Lady Sartana= Alpha thanked.
"Ahh...perfect timing," Vlad noted as he walked over, "Lady Sartana, I need to ask you something."
"Yes?"
"By any chance, did you encounter the spirit of a fellow by the name of V.V Argost?"
"Argost? Oh, that hombre!" Sartana scowled, "Really made a mess of things a few years ago. I'm sure you may recall when all those ghosts from Ghost Zone came out and went off to elsewhere, si?"
"That explains the small gap in my memory," Vlad admitted.
"The fool infused himself with a being known as Kur, the King of the Monsters," Sartana explained, "Well, not the Kur, but one from an alternate universe, but still the point remains! He upset the balance! ...You want his spirit here, don't you?"
"If you'd please," Vlad confirmed.
"...What if I say no?"
"Well what if I tell you it's so we have a contingency plan for our snake Yuuki Terumi?"
"Ah, you finally believe my warnings about him," Sartana nodded before dope slapping Vlad upside the head, "About time, you stubborn gringo!" as Vlad grumbled, Sartana took out her mystic guitar and strummed it a little while closing her eyes, "Hmm...Many a soul has joined the Land of the Dead tonight…" she strummed a bit more, "...And there he is. Answer my mystic guitar's song! Come to me and join that which was lost!"
With that, she played a strong riff on her guitar. The ground before her cracked open and a skeletal hand erupted from the ground. Another joined before they worked in unison, pulling up the skeletal form behind them, donned in a blue cloak. Blue flames erupted in the eye sockets, taking shape of the pupils of eyes that darted around the moment the crack closed up behind the skeletal being.
"What...is this place?" the skeletal being asked in Argost's voice
"The land of the living once again, Mr. Argost," Vlad spoke up.
"...Vlad Masters?" he questioned, turning to face him, "Well...This is quite the interesting surprise. I have not seen you since before my downfall all those years ago…"
"It has been quite the while," Vlad admitted, "But while I would like to catch up on the few times we have interacted, I am in need of your assistance."
"Oh?"
"Yes. You see...we-that is us in the Cabal-have a certain member that is of the supernatural...but of that of the magical variety," Vlad explained, "And we need your assistance in making a contingency plan."
"I see…" Argos noted, "And why should I help? Surely this member of your little...Cabal can't be all that bad."
"He killed people without a single remorse so that he can snap this despair-loving girl out of her paranoia-filled mind thanks to a Phobiasapien," Vlad explained, "...which scarily worked as she killed most of the Plumbers stationed in Japan."
"That explains the many new souls," Sartana whispered.
"Truly now?" Argost asked.
"Yes...which is why I propose this little idea to you," Vlad nodded.
"Hmm...Truly tempting," Argos noted, rubbing his bony chin in thought, "Well...if you want my assistance, I require two simple things…" he paused as he looked at his skeletal form, "A proper body...and a chance to end the life of Zak Saturday."
"How do you propose we accomplish the first?" Vlad asked, "I mean...ghosts are ghosts for a reason...and last I checked, this isn't a cartoon where magical items can wish away the flaws of mortality."
"Mm….yes, that is true, but…" Argost paused as he lowered himself to face Vlad face to face, "Surely this cohort of yours knows of a way if he is pushed enough."
"...Hmm. You may have a point there," Vlad noted, "Afterall he did have the spirit of a witch with him before."
"I honestly kinda miss her," Sartana admitted with a sigh, "Even if the rest of you didn't hear her, I was able to have at least some nice conversations with the senora."
"Though I do see their point," Vexus spoke, "If he is capable of controlling the spirit of a human witch, surely he may know of a way to gain a physical body."
"Well we will have to find out after he calms down. Whatever spooked him...it hasn't worn off yet." Vlad sighed.
"Noted," Argos nodded as he moved back from Vlad, "But if this Cabal is capable in helping me fuel my revenge against Zak Saturday and his family...I will more than accept your invitation, Mr. Masters."
"Fantastic," Vlad smiled.
"And, please...no making it into a chimera. I am a yeti, thank you very much."
"...Dr. Animo?" Vlad guessed.
"Animo," Argost deadpanned.
"Of course…" Vlad facepalmed.
"That is enough for today, Albedo," Modula spoke up, walking into a room as Albedo was focused on a screen showing one of Ben's battles.
"Fine. I am done with the videos for now anyway," Albedo admitted as he turned the screen off, "And I've noticed quite the few flaws in Tennyson's attacks."
"Noted," Modula said before he stepped to the side, "By the way, Khyber has returned with the person you seeked."
"Hmm?" Albedo raised a brow, turning in his seat to see Khyber walking in...with Zero dragging in Inspector 13.
"You did not need to drag me," Inspector 13 stated to Khyber.
"I said peacefully...you did not comply," Khyber smiled.
"You found him," Mondula noted.
"He tried to resist with what machines he had, but nothing against Zero," Khyber stated as his beast dropped Inspector 13.
"I do not appreciate being dropped either," Inspector 13 stated as he stood up.
"I did my job." Khyber replied, "What my prey wants...is of no concern." he smirked, "I told you...you were not very bright where it counted."
"I require the Polymorphic Crystal," Albedo stated, getting straight to the point.
"Hmm?" Inspector 13 raised a brow at that, "...You are attempting to create an Omnitrix, aren't you?"
"No," Albedo replied as he held up his 'Omnitrix,' "A stabilizer. I can transform into numerous forms, but I have a time limit. With the Polymorphic Crystal, that time limit is neutralized and I no longer fear changing back at an inopportune moment."
"I see...you wish to take out the greatest flaw in the Omnitrix with the Master Control still locked," Inspector 13 noted.
"For the last time it's not an Omnitrix. I don't need a Master Control; I just need a stabilizer." Albedo argued, "My powers are based on the energy I could copy from the Ultimatrix, but I can't maintain transformations. With this Stabilizer, I shall gain that, and...oh so much more."
"Hmm...interesting," Inspector 13 noted, holding his chin in thought, "...you've had my interest when I learned what you need my Polymorphic Crystal for, but now….you have my attention, Galvan."
"Yes of course I do...I have originality...you have a desire to copy but change it enough to be legally different…" Albedo replied.
"Careful...you're starting to actually sound like Tennyson now." Khyber spoke up.
"That Sarcasm and voice...it ignites feelings…" Vilgax growled in agreement as he walked in.
"...you had to remind me," Albedo scowled.
"...very well," Inspector 13 spoke, reaching into one of his many pockets on his jumpsuit before pulling out a red, spherical jewel with various hexagons on it, "If you are capable of this Galvan...I would like to see this project come to fruition."
Albedo nodded as he accepted the crystal. The face of his 'Omnitrix' opened down the middle and a small claw extended out. It took the crystal and retracted back inside before the faceplate closed. The device glowed before it seemed to melt into a red slime that covered his hand and solidified into a red armored fingerless glove with black detailing on the knuckles.
"Interesting." Vilgax noted.
Albedo nodded to Mondula, who simply snapped his fingers. A doorway nearby opened up before a green and black Tyrannopede emerged. Albedo glowed before his body twisted and shifted, becoming a dark brown Humungousaur with all the green replaced with red. Negative Humungousaur smirked before twisting his emblem, causing the core to come out. He pushed it back in and four metal tendrils emerged from it. They stabbed into him and dug into his body to form an 'X.'
His form began changing rapidly, his chest and back were quickly enveloped in a dark black shell. The same shell-like armor formed on his shoulders, spikes jutting from the back and shoulders, with metallic tubes seeming to fuse to his skin around his upper arms, before going down to his forearms where multiple iron shells emerged from his arms skin, seemingly held in place by these black veins. Similar metallic shells formed over his knuckles as claws grew from his fingers. His skin turned an even darker brown shade, as the same metallic shells sprouted on his upper legs, and the back of his lower legs. A spiked ball formed at the tip of his tail as well. Finally his head was covered in organic armor which took a black color and covered his eyes, nose and sides of his jaw, as a horn sprouted form his nose, and fangs from his jaw. Metallic armor framed his head behind the mask with four large horns growing from the sides of his head, and the metallic armor going down his neck.
"An Evolved Vaxasaurian? Looks different to the one I hunted," Khyber noted.
"Reworked the scenario. Far more brutal and unethical," Ultimate N-Humungousaur growled out, flexing his fingers a bit before he quickly caught the Tyrannopede in its charge, "And more capable...in dealing with its predator!"
He swung his tail at the predator, making a Shockwave on impact that sent the Tyrannopede flying through the air and crashed down on the farthest side from them. Tyrannopede snarled out as it began to get up, only to screech out in pain as it was bombarded by a barrage of missiles. The Tyrannopede groaned in pain as it struggled to get up, confused as to why its own prey was fighting it back. The beast roared out as it charged again, opening its jaw wide as it prepared to chomp down on Ultimate N-Humungousaur.
The Ultimate Vaxasaurian merely grinned as he held his arms out, catching both of the Tyrannopede's jaws before it could chomp down on him, the beast growling as it struggled to free itself from its prey's grip. He chuckled at how simple this was, before lifting and throwing the Tyrannopede into the air. As it fell, Ultimate N-Humungousaur aimed with one arm at where it was going to land...and unleashed a barrage of blasts just as it slammed into the ground. As the smoke settled, the Tyrannopede growled out weakly as it struggled to stand, attempting to roar before wincing in pain, unable to even open its jaw as blood dropped from a crack on its head and various parts of its body.
"Astounding." Khyber noted.
"Yes...impressive." Vilgax added, "Almost as amazing as the first time."
"Heh...that's but a taste I have in store for Tennyson," Ultimate N-Humungousaur stated as he changed back into Albedo, the Tyrannopede groaning as it fell to the ground, "Thank you, Khyber. This proves to be truly fruitful...in fact, I have something special for you."
"Hmm?" Khyber raised a brow at that.
"From what I noticed, the Predatrix allows your beast to turn into two of the Galaxies most deadly predators...why not add another to the ever growing list?" Albedo offered.
"...explain."
"Simple…" Albedo began, reaching into his pocket as he pulled out a vial with a green slime-like substance to it, bits of yellow, orange and red being seen within said slime, "During my off time before I joined this Cabal, I was seeing if I could recreate a rather dangerous yet useful substance, DNA and all from the beast it came from."
"...?!" Inspector 13 tensed up once he noticed the slime, "The mold of a Burakiodosu…"
"Yes...specifically that of its final stage, the one its prey the Manzadrill's call Bursuto Burakidiosu…" Albedo clarified as he looked at the vial, "Just one contact with its mold-like slime will turn its prey into a living time bomb. It's distilled for now, but…" he paused as he handed Khyber the vial, "It's enough for the Predatrix to scan its DNA. Surely enough of an award for the galaxy's best huntsman."
"Hmmm…" Khyber chuckled, "Perfect repayment."
"Excellent then."
"If you are done here, then come," Vilgax ordered as he began to step out, "I do not want to keep Megatron waiting…"
"...w-wait. Megatron? As in...the Decepticon leader Megatron?" Albedo blinked.
"So you were able to get him to join?" Mondula asked as he began to follow Vilgax.
"We...are of a similar mindset." Vilgax replied, "How can one focus on conquest, when...there is someone you want to crush?"
"Hmm...true I suppose," Modula admitted.
"...this is the fellow you mentioned?" Argost asked as he and the rest of the Cabal were at the main throne room, motioning to Hazama as Junko-the straight jackets off her as she wore her normal attire-stood near him, "...he makes me feel uneasy and annoyed at the same time."
"Oh now that's just rude," Hazama grinned a bit, "Vladdy, why didn't you tell me you invited a yeti skeleton to join us?"
"I told you he was annoying," Vlad whispered to Argost before spotting Junko, "Only now it's been doubled."
"Aww~ you say dat wike it's a bad ting~" Junko pointed in her 'cute' personality.
"Stop that," Vexus deadpanned, "Don't...don't ever do that again."
"Never, robo-bug-bitch!" Junko laughed in her wild personality, "Get used to it because I'm gonna be here a long while!"
"Joy…" the more sane and intelligent members muttered in heavy sarcasm.
"I agreed to this so you could have a pet, Hazama." Vilgax spoke, "Make sure it knows its place…"
"Can do," Hazama nodded, "And don't worry...next time she feels all kill happy, we'll just find a random town or something to spread despair."
"Just make sure it doesn't stain my floors." Vilgax added.
"D-did...did you just joke?" Hazama blinked, more shocked than anything else.
"I know one when I see one after all…" Vilgax sighed, looking at Hazama.
"H-how...how are you so good at this?" he asked.
"Please...you think you can annoy me? You're no Tennyson." the alien overlord turned his view away from Hazama.
"I think he has lost some respect when he heard you called in fear of something." Vlad taunted.
"Fear of what? I'm not afraid of anything," Hazama denied.
"Someone shut him up…" Vilgax sighed.
"Please. Y-" Hazama began before a goop-like substance covered his mouth, "MMM?!"
"Hah? Wh-" Junko began before her own mouth was covered by the goop, "Mmm?!"
=Silence procedure finished= Alpha stated, his hand shifting back from a blaster as Junko tried to pull the goop off, only to yelp she got shocked by it =You may speak now, Lord Vilgax=
"Thank you…" Vilgax stated before a Spacebridge opened up across from them, "And perfect timing too...he is here."
The others stood silent before a large imposing figure began to step out of it, letting them see it was Megatron as Tarn walked beside him.
"Well…" Megatron spoke as a few tensed at his presence, "I'm almost impressed, but given most of your group barely reach my kneecap...not by much." he grinned.
"I know...in stature they do not look like much my lord. But believe me...their abilities more than make up for their...diminutive stature. Even if some are...vulgar…" Tarn spoke, his optics looking at Hazama and Junko, "Oh goodie….it's reproduced…"
"Ugh. Don't remind me," Sartana shuddered, "That chica is as loco as the snake."
"It does smell of blood and violence...how pleasant." Megatron smirked, "But...pleasantries for another time, Vilgax...ordinarily you and I are hard pressed to get along. Our...past meetings for defining territory have...ended better…"
"We destroyed an entire continent…" Vilgax spoke.
"Yes...we were off our game." Megatron nodded.
'Ohh~ He's just as intimidating as I thought he'd be~' Vexus thought with a shiver as she looked at Megatron.
"But…" Megatron spoke up, "The prospect of getting a chance to kill Optimus Prime...let the past be the past...for now."
"Agreed." Vilgax nodded.
"I would love nothing more...then to crush all that insolent little Prime loves, like that mudball called the Earth...and those...lesser lifeform vermin...present company excluded." he chuckled to the 'humans' present, "And as I recall you have your own thorn in your side...the child with the Omnitrix. Last I heard...he gained a Cybertronian transformation...truly he is a rapidly growing pain, likewise is my own. I heard Optimus Prime slayed the ancient monster Trypticon…"
"...Tennyson...bested a Titan-class Cybertronian?" Albedo asked, "...no. There is no way…then again, there are those sidekicks of his I've heard about."
"And this is why I subscribed to the online magazine OmniNews and Bellwood's Daily Bell newspaper," Vlad sighed, phone out once more, "His team has grown since your last encounter, Lord Vilgax. They've recently added a young man going by Max Steel and a young lady by the name of Sari Sumdac…"
"Sumdac?" Megatron repeated, "Mmm...So it would seem Prime has let his little human/Cybertronian pet out of her little bird cage…"
"I've fought that nuisance Ben Tennyson before myself," Argost spoke up before looking down at his skeletal form, "It is thanks to him and Zak Saturday I've been reduced to this...this form."
"It would seem my greatest enemy...is branching out. It explains much...he is forming his own...forces." Vilgax spoke, "Meaning I was wise...to seek accomplices."
"No desire to force your way to leadership?" Megatron smirked.
"The only challenge to my authority here would be you." Vilgax argued, "Besides, I don't need force to gain compliance...likemindedness and hate...is a strong motivator for cooperation."
"And that is something we can all agree on," Vexus spoke up with a frown, "Our utter disdain for that fleshbag Ben Tennyson."
"Technically Sr. Modula, myself and...ugh. The snake has yet to face this Ben Tennyson," Sartana chimed in, "...though given time, he'll most likely join up with the Rivera men to interfere with any plans of mine."
=Then I believe that is the solution…= Alpha spoke up =Disable their key player-Ben Tennyson- and the rest will fall…=
"We do have more enemies to Benjamin in this Cabal…" Vlad noted, looking at Albedo, Khyber, Alpha and Vilgax, "The rest of us that have faced him was merely one time…"
"And yet he already left an annoying impression on us," Vexus added.
"Indeed," Argost scowled, "Question is how can we take care of that accursed child once and for all.."
"...?! Mmm! MMM! MMM!" Junko muffled yelled, waving her arms frantically as she pointed at the goop at her mouth.
"It would appear the human female has something to say," Inspector 13 finally spoke.
"...do we have to?" Vlad asked, "I already dread she's gonna say something insane like Hazama."
"I'm not going near her," Albedo stated, "I felt those daggers she was shooting at me earlier…"
=Because your current appearance reminds her of the person that foiled her schemes= Alpha stated..
"Last month's issue of OmniNews has an interview with the key players to that," Vlad noted, "He used a form called ReBoot to defeat her."
"That form!? Grah!" Vexus growled.
"Perfect. Then you're volunteering to let her speak," Modula spoke.
"WHAT?!" VExus snapped before sighing, "Fine...but only because I know hwo annoying that form is...but moment she starts spewing nonsense...Alpha dear?"
=The Silence procedure is on standby=
"Thank you dear," she nodded, floating over to Junko before ripping the goop right off her mouth.
"YEOWCH! THANKS BUT STILL OW~!" Junko whined before she was slapped.
"Talk or it goes back on," Vexus stated.
"Fine…" Junko pouted before stopping before the group, "Now here me out..after learning a bit from Terumi-sama...I had a thought. What if...we took out the original Ben 10?"
"...loco chica says what?" Sartana raised a brow.
"Here me out…!" Juko began, zipping off before coming back with a blackboard as her smart personality popped up, "In the multiverse there exists a 'prime world' so to speak, which connects the different alternative realities that span through the multiverse. In the case here…" she paused as she drew a branching tree, each path ending with a pic of Ben on it, "Multiple versions of Ben Tennyson. However...what would happen…" she paused as she erased the picture of Ben at the bottom of the 'tree', "If the prime version of that Ben Tennyson were to vanish?"
"That…"
"It would cause a domino effect that would erase all alternate versions across the multiverse." Megatron spoke.
"Therefore potentially disabling all iterations, if not outright killing them." Vilgax spoke as many looked at the two alien overlords.
"It's highly theoretical," Megatron added, "Furthermore by that logic, it's possible this Prime Ben Tennyson...has not even encountered half of you, implying we...are but a branch dimension that has crossed paths with that of other branches."
"If we were to destroy the Ben of our dimension, the resulting domino effect would wipe out all the worlds linked to it." Vilgax added.
"In short not what I want!" Both overlords snapped.
"Okay...but...what if you created something that would erase only the Ben's across the multiverse?" Junko offered.
"I have such a device already." Vilgax spoke, "It is called a Chronosapien Time Bomb. What good would..."
"Hear me out...if you were to adjust it a bit…" Junko began, erasing what was on the chalkboard before drawing pictures of Ben and the other heroes, "You could potentially erase not just those versions of Ben Tennyson...but all heroes that are connected to them."
"Undesirable…" Vilgax responded, "I don't care for heroes...I only care for finally besting Tennyson. Besides...I already considered this idea once while in my prison cell." he explained, "In my plan I intended to find the rarest of dimensions."
"Rarest?" Junko blinked.
"The one possible world...where Ben Tennyson never claimed the Omnitrix." he explained, "The idea being If I set the bomb off from there...it would erase all the worlds that do not match it. But...therein lies a problem in itself...how do I get to this dimension? Does the snake suddenly have this ability?" He turned to Hazama.
"Furthermore, would this even erase our problems?" Megatron asked, "I doubt this would affect our enemies, for their origins are not linked to this boy. In order for that plan to work, you would need to set up an event within an alternate timeline, and then activate the bomb. But...it would have to be a variation of our own reality."
"Ideally...one where Tennyson never gains the Omnitrix,"
"The Autobots never awaken from stasis on Earth." Megatron spoke.
"Danny Phantom never becomes half ghost." Vlad added.
"XJ-9 was never created and I still had my kingdom," Vexus added.
"..." Hazama just stood there, gripping the goop before he tore it off, "Gentlemen...and ladies, I believe I have the perfect solution to that then."
"...hmph. Surely y-" Khyber began.
"Upupup...teacher talking here…" Hazama scolded as he walked over to Junko, "Junko dear..mind erasing the board for me?"
"Sure thing, Mr. H!" Junko saluted, back in her crazy personality as she erased the chalkboard.
"Gentlemen..I have a little something I wish to share with you all," Hazama began as everyone focused on him, "I...exist outside of time."
"...what?" Albedo blinekd at that.
"Impossible. A being cannot…" Inspector 13 began.
"Hey hey. Did I say you can interrupt?" Hazama questioned, earning silence form the former Techadon Weapons master, "...good. Now then...yes I exist outside of time, and where I came from...oh I knew every single outcome that would happen with each reset."
"...reset?"
"Yes...a reset created by the Master Unit Amaterasu, which pretty much has control over both time...and space," Hazama explained, "If something happens that shouldn't have...say a certain grim reaper I knew died way too soon or the like...time and space reset to the point way before that event happens...this is an event called the Continuum Shift, where no matter what you do...no matter how much you try to change, the result will always be the same...an endless time loop."
"Has it happened recently?" Vilgax asked.
"Eh..no…" he muttered.
"So...something is different for you then. Which is why you are here." Vilgax spoke, "You wish to return to your properly scheduled tragedy."
"Yes and no to be honest," Hazama explained before grinning, "See...I forgot to mention what the NOl...what my boss the Imperator wants to do...they want to pull the Master Unit right out of the Boundary!"
"And how suppose do you intend t-"
"Simple...Cauldrons to help open the gate...and souls. Tons..and tons of souls to help smelt said gateway."
"I can't say I hate their style." Megatron smirked, "But...I suppose the issue is, you now lack these...Cauldrons?"
"Sadly yes, and the one with possible knowledge on it is out to kill me at the moment since she broke free," Hazama admitted, "...but...what if we used a planet as the Cauldron itself?"
"...explain."
"Of course. See if we want to make a Cauldron…" Hazama paused, drawing a circle on the chalkboard as he started putting dots on the outer rim of the circle, "We'll need special devices to act as 'nails' to help keep it together...lucky for you I know someone else who could replicate this tech from my time since he's good with both science and magic."
"I see…" most of them muttered.
"This is all interesting, but while your work is stuff of legend surely...how does any of this help me?" Vilgax asked.
"Because...if you play your cards right and follow my boss' orders," Hazama began with a grin, "You can use the Master Unit...to get what you exactly want. No Ben with an Omnitrix...no ghost boy, no Autobots...no pesky teens to get in your ways ever again…"
"Hmm…" Vilgax noted, "Well...that does seem enticing now doesn't it?"
"Almost too good to pass up." Megatron smirked.
The two evil aliens chuckled darkly making the room grow cold.
"Do we have a deal?" Hazama asked as his eyes opened slightly.
"Very well…" Vilgax spoke, "Let us...do things your way, and see if its worth the effort. Besides if this all fails...I can still eat you." he chuckled, walking off.
"...one problem with your plan though, Terumi," Vlad spoke up, earning Hazama's attention, "Benjamin and his little group will surely notice what will happen...do you have a contingency plan for them as well?"
"Oh I do," Hazama nodded, making Vlad blink, "Before I lost Phantom, do you all recall all those times I vanished on you?"
"...yes?"
"Well…" Hazama paused, pulling out a small device as he pressed a button, causing a holographic screen to pop up to show the empty void of space, "I left to go find a little something that crab Psychobos had in his lab..something not even he or the Incurseans could control…" he explained as he pressed another button on the device, causing the screen to move and show what looked like a large satellite resembling a coffin.
"...a satellite?" Albedo raised a brow.
"I sense a beast…" Megatron frowned.
"Not just a beast...a weapon that normally would destroy mountains. But now thanks to Psychobos...is now basically a planet buster," Hazama explained with a grin.
"Hmph. Surely you jest," Khyber snorted.
"Oh I'm not," Hazama shook his head, "You know that empty space I showed you?...That used to be a planet...a home planet belonging to those DNAliens..or whatever they were called."
"I see...so that is your plan then." Megatron noted.
"Yup...and before you ask; how can we control such a powerful beast?" Hazama questioned with a grin, "Simple...Psychobos tried to control it with science. No no...what you need to control this...is magic. And I mean really powerful magic too."
"Well it seems you have an answer for everything, not bad for a little organic." Tarn smiled behind his mask in a condescending manner to Hazama, "Would you like a treat?"
"Thanks, but I brought my own," Hazama countered as he took his hat off, reaching into it and pulling out a boiled egg, "Normally I enjoy a nice boiled egg with a nice hot bath, but I like to keep one in hand if I'm in a real good mood."
"And I thought he was weird before…" Albedo muttered.
'Souls...souls?! He's planning on using souls?!' Sartana thought in anger, glaring a bit at Hazama, 'That...no. He claimed he's from another timeline...meaning he's done stuff like this before….but the only way he'd be able to pull off something like this...is if he had the help of a god of death.' she realized before whispering to Vlad and Vexus, "Psst...oi."
"Yes?" the two quietly spoke as they looked at her.
"I think we need to be more careful around him now," Sartana whispered, shooting a slight glare at Hazama for a moment, "This boss of his...there's a good chance it's a god...a god of death...one willing to disrupt the balance between life and death itself."
"Like we don't have enough issues back home…" Vlad sighed, "At least we can expect what Vilgax will do next. That thing...is totally unpredictable…"
"Agreed.." Vexus whispered, "Still...with that psycho girl with him, we'll need to be careful...or else they'll be on to our little alliance."
"Si," Sartana agreed.
"Still...best gauge this for now," Vlag suggested, "If this god of death was willing to recruit a literal monster like Terumi...then we'll need to be ready for what might come…"
"I think that well…" Hazama smiled at Junko.
"Upupu...agreed," Junko grinned.
