SZ: Greetings folks. We're heading abc to Kibougamine this chapter, but…we're gonna be doing our own twist on an episode from the Despair arc of Danganronpa 3…with said arc having been vastly changed up for GSE, BUT…we didn't bring up or mention a certain incident caused by a certain bagel boy…

Z0: To be fair we mostly like…DRASTICALLY changed the landscape of the school already so how that event would play out would change…but…how will it change, in which ways…what will happen?

Z0: *Bangs Gong* And so he hungers for battle *A Rajang drops from the roof and goes literally ape-shit on everything before punching the screen*

"Ahh….thanks for helping us get ready for today's exam, Jenny," Hina whispered as she, Jenny, Kaede and Kuon were walking down the hall, "I didn't realize how long it was gonna be…"

"Neither did I," Kaede muttered, "I had to cancel something with Shuiichi just to get ready…"

"I frankly still don't get why we're doing this. Given it seemed like it was set up by the prior administration as a means of keeping control over students…" Kuon sighed.

"Well…thankfully we are reworking it this time." Jenny spoke up, "Also are you always such a downer? From how often the boys hang around you, I expected you to be more fun."

"That's different…they treat me like a free bodyguard." Kuon sighed, "Do you know how much trouble most of these guys get in alone, let alone together…?"

"...he has a fair point," Kaede admitted, "I mean just last week, Kazuichi and Hagakure were freaking out because they literally ended up poking the bear too many times."

"Gundahm tried to warn them…one of them didn't listen," Hina sighed a bit as she shook her head.

"...speaking of whom," Kuon paused as they stopped before a bulletin board with various wanted posters on it, showing an image of a small dog with the words 'alive or alive' underneath it, "Seems he sent out another missing animal case…"

"I think I heard him mention something about it," Jenny pondered as she looked at one of the posters, "'Missing my ever so faithful servant Cumulus Blitz Kura-D…must be returned or else y-and it goes into his usual bit…"

"Has he tried bacon flavored dog treats?" Kuon joked.

"Who knows," Jenny shrugged.

"Maybe we can help him look for it when we're free," Hina offered.

"Sure, I like dogs." Kuon smirked as he turned and began walking again. Zaruba chuckled at that, making the girls flinch and look around for that random source of laughter.

"...seriously where does that sound keep coming from?" Kaede whispered.

"I swear it better not be Korekiyo again…I still get shivers when he looks at me funny," Hina whispered as the three girls began to follow Kuon.

"I don't see or hear him, so maybe…" Jenny began before an explosion went near one of the school labs, "?!"

"Hah…one day…" Kuon put some stuff down before he dashed off faster then most could track.

"WAit up!" Jenny called out as they followed him, Kuon kicking the front door open as some purple smoke came out, slowly fading as they saw who was inside, "...Komaeda…"

"Eh heh….greetings minna," Komaeda greeted, sitting down on the floor with his face covered in soot.

"...Komaeda, what are you doing?" Jenny asked as she, Hina, Kaede and Kuon had deadpanned looks on their faces.

"Did your bad luck cause something to explode again?" Hina added.

"Maybe…I just came to pick up something I ordered," Komaeda admitted as he got up, "...ahh…right. Seiko-san, are you ok?"

"Hmm?" the girls blinked before they heard the sound of someone coughing, making them turn to see a girl with a sickly complexion and pale-gray hair that seemed to fan out, a mask covering her mouth as she wore a purple vest underneath the top of the school uniform.

"Oh my," Hina whispered as she and Kaede walked over and helped her up, "You alright?"

"M…mm…." she nodded a bit before looking at Komaeda, "...you!"

"Ore?" Komaeda blinked as the girl shot up to him,

"Do you have a death wish!?" she snapped. moving her mask to reveal a set of braces over her teeth while having an irate look in her eyes, "If I mixed up the wrong chemicals, it would've resulted in a pandemic!"

'Is her hair…moving?' Jenny thought, blinking as she swore she saw the girl's hair moving like tentacles.

"G-gomen…" Komaeda sheepishly chuckled as a bead of sweat went down the side of hsi head, "Iie…I'm here about the laxatives I ordered."

"Ew," Jenny, Hina and Kaeda gagged a bit.

"TMI, dude," Kuon added.

"If that boy loses any more weight he'll vanish from existence…" Zaruba chuckled.

"...I-it's not just 'laxatives'..." the girl muttered as she moved her mask back over her mouth, "To be precise, it's a Reactivator. It's a drug that increases the activity of teh intestine."

"So…like Laxative on steroids…" Kuon muttered.

"Oh he's gonna die…" Zaruba blurted.

"Oh that'll be a big help!" Komaeda beamed, "I've been constipated for so long, it's just been awful."

"Komaeda, ew!" Hina gagged.

"Seriously dude, T! M! I!" Kuon snapped before the girl hushed them.

"I need as much silence as I can!" She hissed before moving before a set of beakers and vials with various liquids in them, "I-I was busy working on something important…"

"Something important?" Jenny blinked.

"That's Seiko Kimura, the Ultimate Pharmacist," Komaeda explained, "Teruteru actually told me where to find her in exchange for a magazine once he heard my plight.."

"..." Kuon said nothing as he picked Komaeda up by the scruff of his uniform, "Oh no…you stay outside…I'll grab your dang medicine for you…"

"Well again…"

"Pardon me if I really don't want to talk this over again…" Kuon cut Seiko off, "But you realize this man has pendulous luck…if he's here you're either going to invent a cure for the common cold…or set off a biological disaster not seen since Chernobyl…and it won't be your fault 'cause it will be his after he trips and knocks all the chemicals on a wall over into the same beaker your working on…"

"...f…fair point," she muttered.

"Better do what Kuon says, Komaeda," Jenny suggested as Kaede opened the door, "We'll get your medicine for ya. Just…just stay still please."

"Please?" Kaede and Hina begged.

"Oh come on it's not…oh…" he flinched when Kuon tapped a few spots on his body before he locked up and fell over stiff as a board, "Oh…my…"

"You heard the ladies…" Kuon began, walking over to the door and placed Komaeda right against the wall on the right side of the door, "Stay….put."

"I don't think I could disobey that order if I wanted to…" he chuckled, "This will wear off right? Right?"

"Don't worry I didn't poke the nerve points too hard…" Kuon sighed, "I mean if I did you'd be in a coma like state…"

"Hahaha…that…oh dear that was not a joke…where do you learn these things?"

"Use it against me once…I can copy it…" he shrugged, "Try not to sneeze or you'll fall over."

"Eh? F-" Komaeda began before Kuon closed the door.

"We're so sorry for him," Kaede spoke as she bowed her head to Seiko, "His luck is…really random at times…"

"Good-Bad, Him-You, Big-Small, all these factors change at random…." Kuon sighed, motioning his hands like a scale to denote how altering his luck results where, "Honestly the fact this place is not burning down…is a good sign…"

"...n-noted," Seiko muttered as she carefully added a few drops of liquid to a beaker, "N-now give me a minute…I'm just ab-"

"Oi, oi…" a girl's voice called out from behind the door leading to the lab, "I know you're in there, Seiko! It's a pain to do, so you open the door!"

"...hah…" Seiko sighed as she put her equipment down, "It's already unlocked…"

"...uh…" Hina began.

"It's already finished," Seiko spoke as she motioned to a set of doors in the back of the lab, "It's on the shelf at the very back of the storage room. You can find it on the right side of the top shelf…"

"Seriously I know you can hear me!" the female voice complained as more knocking was heard, "Open up! It really is a pain knocking on the door like this."

"...just go ahead and take it," Seiko sighed as she began to walk over to the door.

She gripped the handle as she opened it up, revealing a pair of students looking on at her, one a female student with a pink snow cap on top of her short strawberry blonde hair with a green ribbon that sported strawberry at the ends around her neck. The other was a taller male student with short spikey pale-blond hair and a red coat over his school uniform with a cold, steely look in his eyes.

"You're too slow," the girl complained with a pout.

"G…gomen, Ruruka-san…" Seiko muttered as the two walked in.

"It's fine," the girl smiled a bit as she sat down in a nearby medical couch, "Now then...I was hoping to talk with you about something…" she said before looking at Jenny and the others, "Alone please."

"Eh? About wh-" Hina began as she prepared to take a step forward, only to tense when a kunai nearly missed her and nicked her cheek, "?!"

"Order…" the young man whispered, eyes narrowed as he lowered his outstretched hand, "Leave."

"Wh-?! Hey!" Jenny snapped as she stomped over, "What gives you the right t-" she began before a kunai was aimed straight at her face…with Kuon's fingers gripping the tip.

"...is there a problem?" the young man frowned, his eyes looking up to glare at Kuon.

"Yeah…I don't like it when someone pulls a move like that…" Kuon replied as he began bending the kunai with his finger grip alone, "If you got a problem…let's take it outside…"

"Mmm…"

"Mou, Sonosuke-kun~" Ruruka whined as she grabbed his free arm, "There's no need to waste your time on them. Besides, this won't take me long either…"

"..."

"I'll give you your favorite tweat~" she offered in an innocent tone.

"...you got off lucky," Sonosuke stated to Kuon, letting his kunai go as it slipped into his coat.

"...Just so you know…I'm gonna remember that," Kuon frowned as he began to walk towards the storage room with the girls, "Besides, we got something important to do."

"Okay! Bye~!" Ruruka waves to them…yet Jenny could slightly tell she was doing it in a condescending manner.

"Ooh…just what is that girl's deal?!" Jenny fumed a bit as she, Hina, Kaeda and Kuon were looking through a few shelves, "What gives her the right to talk to us like that?"

"I think I actually heard about her," Kaede spoke as she looked at a few bottles, "Ruruka Ando, the Ultimate Confectioner. They say she's able to make any sweet baked good and have it taste like heaven."

"How can someone who makes such sweet things…be so evil…" Hina gasped.

"I honestly, don't know," Kaede sighed, "Probably doesn't help, she has that bodyguard/boyfriend of hers, Sonosuke Izayoi, always following her."

"Sonosuke?" Jenny repeated.

"Hai. He's supposed to be the Ultimate Blacksmith," Kaede explained, "...which probably explains why he was able to pull a kunai out of nowhere."

"So he works in making weapons?"

"Yup."

"I can get being the kind of guy who wants to own a sword because it's cool, but that wasn't cool." Kuon grumbled, "That's not something you can just joke around with…"

"Agreed," Jenny frowned, "That Ruruka girl probably has him do it so nobody stands up to her…mmm. Getting a lot of Crust Cousin vibes from her alone."

"Crust cousins…" Hina repeated as she tapped her cheek, "...Aren't they those two rich bullies you told us about?"

"Did they hate everyone 'cause they were called the Crust Cousins?" Kuon couldn't help but smirk at the comedy potential.

"No. They think they were better than everyone because of how fashionable they were," Jenny huffed as she crossed her arms, "They also liked to pick on people just because they were poor or less fashionable than them….and I can tell that Ruruka girl is giving off the same vibes. I mean really…who wears a winter cap indoors?!" she snapped as she became red for a bit.

"J-jenny?" Hina blinked.

"I think Ruruka triggered something in her," Kaede whispered as the two stepped back a bit.

"Bingo…" Kuon spoke, finding two vials in the back, "Uh…anyone catch which color it was?"

"Hmm?" Jenny blinked, changing back to her normal colors as she looked over at Kuon, who was holding onto a pair of bottles with one sporting a glowing green liquid and the other a glowing light-blue liquid, "...I think it was the green one."

"Perfect. Then let's get this out o-" Kuon began, about to put the other bottle back before the door slammed into his face, "?!"

"Ahh!" Kaede and hina yelped as they quickly caught the two bottles, "Phew…"

"Oops…sorry," Ruruka giggled a bit as she walked in, "Now then…where is it…?"

"...where's what?" Jenny asked with a frown.

"Nothing for you to worry about, robot girl," Ruruka replied, brushing her aside as she began to look around, "Mmm…where is it?"

"...grr…" Kuon growled a bit as the door slowly moved off him, showing his brushed yet red face as his left eye twitched. He took a deep breath as he felt Zaruba tighten around his finger, "Lets just get the dang medicine and get out of here…" he sighed rubbing his nose.

"Good idea. I got th-" Kaede began as she held the green bottle.

"Thank you~" Ruruka smiled as she took it.

"Wh-?! Hey!" Jenny snapped as she stomped up to her, "We had that first!"

"Hmm?" Ruruka blinked as she turned to look at her, "...funny. I didn't see your name on it."

"Look I think there's been a Misunderstanding lady…" Kuon sighed, walking up next to Jenny, "That is what we came here for…could you just hand it over and let the expert here give you what you came for?"

"...I dunno…" Ruruka muttered as she noticed the light blue bottle in Hina's hands, "How do I know you had the medicine you actually wanted?"

"Cause I trusted someone smarter than me to keep me from making a mistake. Maybe you should try it." Kuon sighed.

"...mm…" Ruruka frowned at that, looking at the bottle in her hand…before a light smirk grew on her face, "Well see…I would, but…maybe you better check the label."

"What do you mean? We have th-" Hina began as she held her bottle up…and saw the words 'Reactivator' on it, "...oh…we really did have the right one…"

"Huh?" Jenny blinked.

"Huh? No offense Hina, but I kinda trust Jen given she has a literal photographic memory…" Kuon pointed out.

"But look," she held it up to them.

"That's odd…" Jenny muttered, "...then again, we didn't ask Seiko what it looked like…"

"See? So I was right," Ruruka smiled a bit as she turned, "Now then…unless you want to waste my time further, I need to go prepare some delicious sweets for my precious Sonosuke-kun."

"Che…still doesn't mean she has to be such a b-..." Kuon began before shaking his head, "Nevermind…let's just give the bagel boy his medicine…and never speak of why it was needed again…"

"Agreed," the girls muttered as they and Kuon began to step out…and saw a beaming Ruruka giving a bright smile to Seiko.

"Thank you so much for what I was looking for, Seiko-chan!" Ruruka laughed as she hugged her..much to the pharmacist' charging, "Just know…even if you still can;t taste my sweets, we're still the best of friends!"

"...y….yea…." Seiko whispered as she looked away, "We are…"

Ruruka just giggled as she skipped towards the exit, Sonosuke waiting outside for her with crossed arms, "Thanks again, Seiko~" she waved before Sonosuke closed the door.

"...mm…." Jenny frowned a bit as her eyes narrowed….all while Seiko gave a sad sigh as she looked down a bit.

"...hey Jen, you alright?" Akane asked, pausing from tossing a baseball up and down with her tail as she noticed an irked look on Jenny's face, "You've been silent since you and the others arrived."

"...it's that confectioner girl, Ruruka Ando," Jenny replied.

"Hah?" Miu blinked as she looked up from her magazine, "Why'd you bring up that stuck up manipulative bitch?"

"..." Kuon moved to say something from across the room but shook his head. Zaruba silently chuckled the entire time.

"So…you know her?" Jenny blinked at the wording.

"Know her? Pfft! Please…she's the biggest bitch in the school," Miu snorted, "She manipulates people with those super sweet treats of hers and comes off as all 'I'm cute and pretty so you will shower me with your admiration so I may 'share' my dewicious sweets.' Does not help she has that freakin' blacksmith ninja of a boyfriend of hers following her like a dog waiting for treats."

"...the worst thing is…she's not wrong," Kyoko sighed from her seat, "...though what did spur this on, Jenny?"

"...it's how she treated that Seiko girl," Jenny admitted, "I don't know how…but something tells me Ruruka's using the fact they're 'best friends' to let her take whatever she wants from her."

"It feels like she's also using something that happened to them as some sort of…emotional blackmail…" Kuon sighed.

"But..what does she have on her to do something like that?" Kaede asked.

"...maybe it's the fact she has braces," Hina guessed, earning looks from the others, "...what? I saw that she had braces, and I remember back when I was little, I accidentally chipped my tooth when I bit into what I thought was rock candy…had to wear braces for a few weeks…" she paused..before lightly sobbing comically, "And I couldn't eat any donuts…"

"Huh…maybe that's it…" Kuon muttered.

"I'm afraid to ask but have you ever had braces?" Miu asked.

"Don't know…never needed them, never lost a tooth unless it was natural…" he motioned with a fake punch to his face to explain what he meant.

"..."

"...what? You asked."

"...still," Jenny began with a frown, "The fact she's using Seiko's braces as an excuse to get whatever she wants from her….I can't forgive that."

"Want me to have a talk with her?" Akane offered as she cracked her knuckles, her eyes briefly going feral.

"Pretty sure if you tried, you'd be nailed to the wall by kunai," Kaede deadpanned.

"Ooh~!" Ibuki awed as she poked out form behind her desk, "Ibuki suggest we swap out one of the ingredients to her sweets~"

"And paint a target on yourself?" Miu retorted, earning more looks from the others, "..oh right. I forgot to mention that…recall who I said that Sonosuke guy followed her around like a dog? Well…a few days ago, I happen to come across them in the park…with Ruruka feeding him her food and he went and said -and I shit you not- 'dewicious sweets.'"

"Well that's not disgusting…." Kuon muttered, "But then I guess love makes my gender do the stupidest of shit…"

"True I guess," Kyoko sighed.

"Still Mioda…you try and mess with that Ruruka girl's ingredients…that boyfriend/bodyguard of hers will have some issues with ya," Miu stated to the musician.

"Well I have issues with him." Kuon spoke up as a frown grew on his face.

"...Hmm…do it and watch our local superhuman fight a ninja…" Ibuki muttered.

"That's stupid…" Miu sighed.

"I'm not saying do it…but if you do…I'll win." Kuon cracked his knuckles single handedly by flexing his fingers.

'...god damn what a badass,' Akane thought, her tiger ears popping out.

"...Did Seiko even try to defend herself?" Kyoko asked as she decided to get the conversation back on track.

"Nope," Kaede shook her head, "Probably due to the blackmail and the fact they're 'best friends'."

"Even still, she shouldn't let her use her like that!" Jenny snapped as she slammed her hands on her desk, startling the others as she turned red, "Best friend or not, you don't treat people like that!"

"GH?!" Miu and Ibuki tensed as she shot behind some overturned desk, "Angry Jenny!"

"That's the second time now," Hina whispered to Kaede.

"I think Ruruka is reminding her way too much of those Crust Cousins," Kaede whispered back to her in concern.

"..." Kuon lightly tapped his knuckles on Jenny's head, making her yelp and go back to her default appearance, "I think you're a little too passionate about this compared to before, maybe your new mood ring upgrade is making you feel stuff stronger…"

"...yeah…maybe you're right," Jenny whispered as she looked down, "...even still, I feel bad for Seiko having to deal with her…"

"...what if we helped her grow a spine?" Ibuki offered.

"...what?" Kyoko deadpanned as she and the others looked at the rocker again.

"Not literally, duh~ I mean help her stand up for herself when it comes to her," Ibuki explained, "..wait…you thought Ibuki was talking about making her literally grow a spine? Pfft! Please…she's not an alien…at least…not that we know of…"

"Well I mean, it's one thing if you stand up for someone, it's another when they stand up for themselves." Kuon spoke, "Sometimes someone you think is weak…is stronger deep down, and just needs a chance to prove it." he smiled.

"...I suppose that's true," Jenny sighed, "Still...there has to be something we can do for Seiko…"

"..maybe show her what having friends is really like?" Hina couldn't help but suggest.

"...milky donut girl say wha…?" Miu raised a brow as she and the others looked at the swimmer.

"I mean…it's clear the only people she's hung' with were Ruruka and-by extent- her boyfriend, and she seems to be a reclusive kind of girl," Hina explained, "So what if…she doesn't know how friends are supposed to act like and stuff?"

"It's not a bad idea." Kuon spoke.

"...yeah….yeah that's right," Jenny said as she began to stand up, "Maybe we just need to show her what having real friends is like!"

"Ibuki will go grab her then!" Ibuki beamed as she prepared to run off..only to end up running on air as Akane held her up by the scruff of her uniform.

"Kidnapping is not the best way to start a friendship…" Kuon sighed.

"Kuon's right," Kaede nodded, "If we're gonna try and befriend Seiko…we're gonna have to be careful about this."

"Trying to get a recluse to open up isn't exactly simple." Kuon sighed.

"True," Kyoko spoke as she closed her book, "Btu even still..if you go with this plan, at best…you'll have to try and avoid Ruruka and Sonosuke, causing any and all hardwork you did to possibly come crumbling down."

"Well we'll show her," Jenny spoke with a determined smile, "We'll make sure Seiko can have actual friends to be around with!" 'That'll show Tiff a-I mean Ruruka…'

"...hmm…" Kyoko frowned a bit, noticing the look on Jenny's face as she rubbed her hands a bit.

Seiko sighed as she left the lab, a duffle bag over one of her shoulders as the evening sun's light shone from the windows in the hallway. She had a long day of mixing chemicals and was just ready to head back to her room…but she had to deal with Ruruka again today. As much as she tries to argue with her…it seems to never get through to her….doesn't' help she keeps teasing her with those damn sweets. She just wished…she could get a chance to try and talk to her about it…

"Oh you're like uber deep in thought…" Ibuki blurted as she was walking right behind Seiko.

"?!" Seiko tensed as she quickly turned…and saw no one behind her, "...hah…long day…." she sighed as she resumed walking…unaware of Ibuki walking behind her.

"Wow jumpy~" Ibuki whispered in a surprised tone, "...Ibuki may need to be extra careful then…"

"..." Seiko said nothing as she began to step up her pace, only for ibuki to match her steps, "..." she tried to walk a bit faster to get away from the person behind her…only for ibuki to follow her still. She then began to try and run away from the excitable musician…only for her to run straight after her, "Leave me alone!"

"Wait! I'm not creepy! I'm Ibuki!" she called out, "Trust me! Everyone says I'm just weird but harmless! Oi! Matte! Come back! I will follow you to the ends of the Earth~!"

"AAH!" Seiko panicked as she quickly turned a corner, nearly tripping as Ibuki was now full on running after her.

"You are pretty fast for a nerdy type! Ibuki is impressed!"

"Y-you're lucky I'm not carrying anything volatile!" Seiko shouted as she tried running faster.

"Oh that's good…what's that mean?" Ibuki blinked as she just skipped after Seiko.

"Just please leave me alone!" Seiko begged as she turned a corner, rushing right into a dark room as she slammed the door shut, "..." she stayed silent as she listened for ibuki's footsteps, hiding underneath a teacher's desk as she panted silently, "...I…think I lost her…"

"Psst….?" Ibuki spoke sitting next to her, "Who are we hiding from? Is it the pastry girl I heard about?"

"GH?!" Seiko tensed as she quickly shot up, only to wince when she hit her head on the bottom of the desk, "Ite…!"

"Wow you are klutzy, you okay? Need an ice pack, nurses? I know a nurse, she's also very klutzy, but a sweet person. You would like her, she is very nice…but she somehow always trips and ends up in a naughty pose…so…that's a thing." Ibuki rambled, "I'm sorry where was I going? Oh right? Need help with yer noggin?"

"WHY WON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE?!" Seiko snapped as she grabbed and shook her, "What did I do to you to earn this!?"

"...Oh right! Ibuki remembers now!" Ibuki beamed, despite being shook by hte pharmacist, "She wanted to help bring you to her friends!"

"THAT'S WHY YOU CHASED ME?!"

"Who chased you?" she looked around, "Is it a creepy creeper?" she moved Seiko around, "We must have lost them, now we run!" she grabbed Seiko's hand and began dragging her off, "Friendship!"

"Ahh!" Seiko yelped from how fast Ibuki was dragging her off, not once letting go as the pharmacist tried to free her hand from her grip.

"Trust Ibuki! She knows the best of people! They are a little wild, but that makes them fun! Like a tiger girl gymnast! Or a Street Fighter boy who's super humanly strong! Or a lot of Detectives….actually a lot of them…two official ones, but like Hajime is also kinda good as one, and Kaede isn't half bad either, it's spooky…but all we do is solve mysteries so it's perfect!"

"Mmm~" Seiko sobbed as she cried small waterfall tears.

"...Something tells me Ibuki is being herself again…" Kyoko muttered as she and the others were waiting for the musician back in their usual club room..

"If she kidnapped her…Kuon is going to give her brain damage…" Jenny sighed.

"We should have sent someone less…energetic," Kaede muttered.

"...Hey, I've been meanin' ta ask," Akane spoke, causing everyone to look at her, "What's a far-ma-cest?"

"Eh?" they all blinked.

"Well…I guess you probably wouldn't know given your unique childhood…" Jenny muttered, "The short of it is…they're someone who mixes together medicine, kinda like a, well actually they are a doctor. But just for medicine."

"Huh…" Akane blinked a few times, "...Oh! So that's what those two were talkin' 'bout!"

"Who?" Jenny asked.

"Gundham and Mikan!" Akane replied, "Said I needed to see one of them." she dug in her cleavage and pulled out a slip of paper, "Somethin' 'bout needin' some medicine they make because of my half alien self."

"Medicine for your alien DNA?" Jenny blinked, "What for? I thought you were learning to control it really well?"

"I thought so too," Akane shrugged, "Apparently it's meant for some sorta balance thing. Horror-moan-all or somethin' like that…and supper-mints for vital-mens. So that's where those tiny mints come from?"

"You mean medicine for 'hormonal balancing' and vitamin supplements," Kyoko stated.

"Yeah, that!" Akane nodded.

"Wait. Hormonal balancing?" Jenny blinked, "Does your alien DNA cause your mood swings?"

"She is part Apopplexian. Given their species name sounds close to 'Apoplexy' which is a word to describe the state of being overcome with rage, is it not obvious?" Kyoko replied.

"...Okay g-" Jenny began before the door was kicked open, "?!"

"I'm back~!" Ibuki beamed before dragging Seiko over, "And Ibuki has brought back th-why are you all silent right now?"

"Did you kidnap her?! You were just supposed to ask her to hang out like a normal person!" Kaede complained.

"Well I tried…but she kept running…It was hard to ask her like that. She looked scared so I brought her some place safe!" Ibuki smiled.

"Akane…can you do the pleasure this time around?" Kyoko asked.

"Sure thing," Akane nodded as she walked up to Ibuki, smiled, and…suplexed her, leaving her bottom half sticking out of the floor, "There we go!" her tail and ears popped out, "That felt good!"

"Gh?! Wh-What in the…?" Seiko whispered, looking at Akane in surprise.

"Eh, you get used to it." Akane replied simply, "Oh, you're a farm-manatee, right?"

"Pharmacist," Jenny corrected.

"Oh, right. Yeah, I need to see one," Akane noted as he showed Seiko the note, "Somethin' 'bout me bein' half alien and all that."

Seiko looked at the note, "Y-You're part alien?" she pointed at the sky, "Alien-alien?"

"Yep! Apparently, I've got me alien tiger DNA and my little sibs are all gonna get checked later for it, too!" Akane grinned, "Mine got triggered when I drank somethin' in America. It was a hoot!"

"You fought Kuon 'till he got angry and proceeded to pummel you into a coma…" Jenny reminded.

"...You found it hot, didn't you?" Ibuki's muffled voice asked.

"I…I see…" Seiko mumbled, looking over what was written, "The awakening genes of her alien half are causing several chemical imbalances, leading to hormonal instability and deficiencies in several key vitamins…" she looked over at the others and pointed at Akane, "Wh-What is her normal diet? And her daily habits?"

"Meat, training, trying and failing to fight a superhuman, meat and training…" they all listed.

"...s-soka…" Seiko sweatdropped at that, "...I may be able to make something special just for her then…"

"Really?" Akane asked excitedly.

"You realize its medicine right?" Kyoko deadpanned.

"Hey I see how my siblings love those little gummy things…" Akane muttered.

"Those are for children…" Kaede sighed.

"So? They're still sweet."

"...maybe cut down on her daily meat intake," Seiko muttered

"...wait what?" Akane blinked at that with a look of concern.

"No-no-no-no!" Jenny yelped, dragging her back, "Easy…easy…" she tried to prevent what many feared would be a potentially violent outburst.

"I don't mean forever…" Seiko deadpanned, "I mean until I have the medicine ready. Chances are her anatomy is reacting differently to Earth meat compared to what her alien DNA's species normally eats."

"I think she shut down…" Jenny muttered as Akane just stood there, a blank expression on her face, "She's taking this better than I expected, at least better than the last time a doctor's visit told her to stop something."

"She put a guy in the hospital…" Ibuki muttered.

"Thankfully…we were already in one…" Kaede sighed.

"Ever since then we need a responsible person to accompany her to any and all visits." Jenny sighed.

"By that mean the one thing she can hope to hurt, Kuon." Hina added, "Or Sakura that one time, but Sakura said: Never again, it's like a hyper toddler…"

"...right," Seiko sweatdropped as she wrote something down in a notepad, "If that's all..then I wish you a good evening…"

"...Actually…there is something…" Jenny muttered, making Seiko pause just as she was about to walk off, "...are you…doing anything tomorrow?"

"...aside from working on that medicine, nothing else…why?"

"Duh, we want you to hang out with us." Ibuki smiled as she shot up, "Why else would we ask?" she tilted her head, "Nope can't think of another reason…I mean I hate doctor visits…always something…"

"Tell me about it…" a defeated Akane sighed, resting her head against a wall.

"So obviously we're asking you to hang out and do something fun, potentially irresponsible and rebellious…and silly!" Ibuki cheered, "You've done that before right?"

"...not interested."

"HAH?!" Ibuki gawked.

"I don't need anymore friends," Seiko muttered as she began to walk off.

"W-wait!" Jenny called out as she got before her, "We're not like Ruruka, I swear…"

"Clearly you don't know what normal friends are!" Ibuki declared blocking the door with her body, "That means we need to show you! By any means necessary!"

"Like how you chased me earlier like a maniac?" Seiko deadpanned.

"That's just Ibuki…being Ibuki," Hina sheepishly chuckled.

"She's harmless, she's got a lot of energy, but zero capacity for danger." Kyoko sighed, "Well…at least now that we took the flamethrower guitar away…"

"Ibuki still calls retrial! I deny all accusations of my burning down the teachers lounge!" Ibuki complained.

"Like before, you'll lose rocker girl," Miu muttered.

"Like you're any different?" Kyoko deadpanned, "Remember the octopus bot incident?"

"...I plead the fifth."

"This isn't America…" Jenny argued.

"I have a right to say nothing!" Miu snapped, throwing her arms into the air.

"You're not exactly convincing me here…: Seiko muttered.

"If Miu needs to do it, then you can't escape…" Miu spoke.

"L-look," Jenny spoke up as Seiko turned towards her, "We just…want to see if you're able to hang out and stuff. Give yourself a chance to see what it's like to have…well actual friends."

"Give us a chance, everyone in this school is weird, but weird means fun when everyone gets together!" Ibuki smiled.

"Hai! So why not give it a chance?" Kaede added.

"That way you won't have to stay cooped up in that lab as much," Hina added.

"..." Seiko stared at them for a moment, pondering over her options…one being Ruruka again…and the other with these…people, "...you won't leave me alone until I say yes, will you?"

"Chances are Ibuki will kidnap you again until you do, hai…," Kyoko sighed.

"..." Ibuki blinked as she was trying to sneak up on Seiko with handcuffs, "Hehehe…"

"Where do you keep getting those?" Jenny blinked.

"Magic store!" she smiled.

"...no no…I don't wanna know," Kyoko muttered as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

"What…it's a store for magic show supplies…everything but bunnies!" Ibuki smiled.

"...you borrowed those from Himiko's lab, didn't you?" Kaede sweatdropped.

"...You can't prove that," Ibuki muttered before Kaede pointed to a small sticker showing a chibi version of Himiko's face, "..." everyone then turned to her guitar case as it unzipped itself and a little black bunny with a white patch that somewhat resemble a skull on its head poked out, "Later Usagi-kun!" she hissed as the bunny slid back inside.

'...I know I'm gonna regret this…' Seiko mentally sighed, noticing some of the pleading..yet guilty looks on the girls faces, "...mou…fine…but we meet 11:30 sharp…I gotta focus on making that thing you want me for your friend."

"Yes!" Jenny cheered, "You won't regret it!"

"Hah…" Seiko sighed.

"Ibuki is keeping the bunny…" she smirked.

"So remind me why we're doing this when we could have just beat up the mean girl?" Akane asked as they all waited for Seiko the next day near the gates of the school.

"You…that's not a valid response for problems…" Kaede sighed.

"...it works for Kuon…and Jenny's friends in America." Akane argued.

"...Those are boys…they are mentally hardwired to think that works…which it doesn't…" Miu muttered.

"I don't know…you stopped making and I quote: Freaky Hentai Robots, after Kuon got upset and karate chopped the last one clean in half…then bonked you on the head." Jenny argued.

"Poor Mikan had nightmares for weeks," Hina muttered.

"Okay so sometimes violence is the answer!" Miu snapped.

"See? She agrees with me!" Akane grinned.

"Counter points…Juzo-san, my father…and Sonosuke," Kyoko listed.

"...I'd like to see what happens if you throw Kuon at em…" Akane admitted.

"Can we not?!" most panicked.

"L..let's please not bring violence into this," Jenny sighed, currently wearing her human disguise, "I just want to make sure Seiko feels comfortable around us…"

"I still say it'd be funny." Akane smirked.

"I'd see it," Ibuki added as the two fist bumped.

"Oh this is gonna be a long day," Kyoko sighed.

"Well sometimes this is half the fun of all of us getting together." Kaede chuckled.

"It doesn't always make sense but it's never boring." Hina smiled.

"Oh! I think I see her now!" Ibuki shouted

"Oh?" Jenny turned to where Ibuki was lookin, seeing Seiko walking from the school entrance towards them., "Oh it is!"

"Just for today…tolerate for today," Seiko whispered to herself as she began to approach them, "H-hey…"

"Hi!" Ibuki cheered, rushing forward and lifting her up in a hug.

"Again…" Kyoko sighed.

"We're sorry for her," Jenny chuckled.

"She's very friendly." Hina smiled as she motioned for Akane to separate them.

"Apparently it's not nice to just run up and hug people…" Akane sighed, holding Ibuki up, "I mean I don't get it, my siblings do it all the time, but they are small and adorable…this…well…it's Ibuki…"

"Hey…I am proudly a girl, so she…she is an Ibuki, thank you very much." Ibuki huffed.

"...wait…" Seiko began as she looked at Jenny, "Weren't you a robot before?"

"Hmm?" Jenny blinekd at that before Seiko pointed to her, "Oh this? Well it's something a friend of mine had made for me," she explained as she tapped her bracelet, her appearance changing back to her normal one, "See?"

"That's…amazing…" Seiko blinked.

"At first I got it so I could fit in with normal people, I was nervous about being a robot, but turns out thanks to Superheroes being so regular, instead I'm just…annoyingly popular…so I use it to hide in plain sight." Jenny explained, "That and sometimes I'm just nervous my being a super teenage android means maybe some folks won't let me or my friends into places…" she admitted.

"And yet she still wears the same outfits everyday," Miu muttered.

"...what's wrong with my outfits?" Jenny asked as she turned towards her.

"Well I get its your default, but with that human doghouse of yours, have you tried…anything else?" Miu asked, "...aside from your school uniform I mean."

"Why does that matter right now?" Seiko deadpanned.

"I mean she has a point…" Jenny muttered, "I'm an android, a shapeshifting one at that…"

"Even still!" Miu argued, "Besides, there's that school dance coming up after the exams are done, and don't you wanna look good for Kibo?"

"Eh?" Jenny blinked as she began to blush, "Wh…why bring Kibo up?"

"Duh. Bec-" Miu began before Kaede and Hina quickly covered her mouth, "Mmmp?!"

"We're getting off track here!" Kaede sheepishly chuckled.

"Y-yeah!" Hina added with her own, "Though…maybe that's a good idea…we can try some different clothes on to get ready for the dance!"

"Oh, that does sound fun." Jenny smiled, "Well…you know, in a weirdly roundabout way." she muttered to herself.

"As for you…do you not understand that she doesn't remember that day?! You can't go and ruin it. Kibo-kun needs to ask again," Kaede hissed to Miu.

"Ah sorry sorry~" Miu quietly whined.

"Mou…you can't interfere in another girl's love life, bad, very bad," Hina scolded as if talking down to a child.

"What are you three whispering about over there?" Jenny asked.

"Nothing!" Kaede, Miu, and Hina yelped as they stood straight.

"...Okay…?"

"...C…Can we just go now, please?" Seiko asked, noticing Ruruka and her boyfriend in the corner of her eye as the two sat down at a bench…well, more so Sonosuke was resting on Ruruka's lap while she fed him sweets.

"Come on then," Hina smiled, "It'll be a fun distraction. You look like you've worked yourself tired."

"It took me all morning to make her medicine," Seiko stated before pulling out a bottle, "She'll need to take these once a day. It should mellow out the other half of her DNA and make her feel more relaxed."

"Eh…really?" Akane asked looking at the bottle, "I don't get how, but it better not be too bitter…" she complained while taking it, "...huh. I don't feel any…thing…" she began to slur as her pupils began to dilate, "Woah…I feel good…"

"...Are you sure you didn't just give her edibles?" Miu blinked, waving her hand in front of Akane's face, "She's baked!"

"It contains chemicals meant to help sedate cats to keep them calm at the vet," Seiko explained

"So they are edibles!?" Miu gawked.

"Akane, how are you feeling?" Jenny asked.

"Oh I feel good…" Akane chuckled as she leaned against Kyoko, her tail lazily swaying and her ears drooping.

"Oh wow…" Hina awed, "This…could be abused by certain rude classmates if they found out…" she sighed, "Also, Kyoko, are you, like, popular with cats or something?"

"..." Kyoko glanced away.

"...can we please just go now?" Seiko sighed.

"Sure!" Jenny beamed.

"You won't regret this!" Kaede added as the girls began to walk off…with Kyoko ending up having to drag Akane.

"Nyao~"

"Hmm…" Ibuki muttered, her tongue sticking out of her mouth as she looked between two jackets, "Hmm…this…or this…? Hmm...Ibuki is conflicted."

"Just pick one already," Miu muttered, a few clothes hung over her forearm as she and the others were spread out within the clothing store they were in.

"I'll be honest. I have no idea about modern fashion," Jenny admitted to Seiko, "I was built in the 1920s, after all." she held up a tube top with 'SPICY' on it in white bold print, "Sometimes, it feels like I'm zozzled after sneaking into a speakeasy when it comes to modern stuff."

"...What did she say?" Seiko blinked.

"She says she's confused when it comes to modern fashion, comparing it to becoming blackout drunk in an illegal drinking bar during the ban on alcohol in the US," Kaede explained, earning a look from the pharmacist, "...what? I wanted to learn more about the 1920's in the states to better understand Jenny when she slips into her sayings."

"...Well she's lucky she's got friends who are hip and trendy when it comes to fashion," Miu grinned as she posed a bit.

"You wear belts and straps over your normal clothing," Kyoko muttered as she walked by.

"Hey. I wanna look sexy AF as possible," Miu argued.

"Heh…AF…" Akane chuckled a bit…currently the only one sitting down near the changing rooms.

"Oh! This looks cute!" Hina beamed as she picked out a dress that bled from a sunny yellow to an ocean light-blue, "I bet I could wear this for the dance."

"It…It's still hard to believe that's an actual thing in Kibougamine," Seiko noted.

"It's something the Headmaster has been wanting to do but kept getting denied by those old men that were involved with the Despair Bear Incident," Jenny explained.

"But thanks to Jenny, she was able to remind him and the dance is back on," Kaede added with a smile, "Some of us even chipped in to help with it."

"...Ruruka's not helping, is she?" Seiko caused, only to yelp when Jenny grabbed the iron bar holding some clothes up, "?!"

"...No….she's not…." she whispered through gritted teeth, gripping the iron bar before she let go, revealing grooves in the form of her hands now in it, and took a deep breath, "Sorry about that. Just…recalled something is all."

"...o…kay…?" Seiko blinked.

"...Oh I hope we don't have to pay for that," Hina whispered before she noticed a pale blue turtleneck, "Oh! What about this, Seiko-san? I bet you'd look cute in it."

"N…no thanks. I…" Seiko began.

"Ooh~! Here's a few Ibuki found for ya!" Ibuki beamed as she pushed a pile of clothes into Seiko's arms with the rabbit hanging on top of her head, "Usagi-kun helped picked out a few too!"

"You do realize you'll have to return that rabbit to Himiko soon, right?" Kyoko sighed.

"...Ibuki will make the best of our time with Usagi-kun," Ibuki stated, petting the top of the rabbit's head.

"That is a rather weird bunny…" Hina noted, "Strange skull mark patch aside…"

"Where did Himiko even find that bunny?" Kaede pondered.

"I dunno," Ibuki shrugged with the rabbit mimicking her, "Ibuki just saw it in the middle of a pile of bunnies labeled 'rabbits for hat tricks.'" she picked it up, "It took one look at his weird difference and oddly chill attitude for a bunny to know…he's neat!"

"Well…she is right…it's weird for a bunny to be so calm in the hands of someone so hyperactive," Jenny muttered.

"Right? It's so surreal," Hina whispered, "It's almost like the two were meant to meet…"

"Also it was the only Black Bunny, so I'm sure she won't notice," Ibuki smiled as the bunny was now resting on her head.

"...True I guess…but still…"

"H…help please?" Seiko spoek up, struggling to keep herself balanced from all the clothes in her arms.

"I gotcha," Jenny assured, creating three more arms from her elbows to take them and prevent her from falling over, "You alright?"

"Th…Thanks," Seiko muttered as Jenny quickly put the pile on top of a display shelf.

"...Maybe try just a few at a time," Jenny offered, "Pick out what catches your eye."

"...For the record, SHE…" Seiko began as she pointed at Ibuki, "...was the one who stuffed those clothes into my arms in the first place…but…good point," She whispered as she searched through the pile before taking out a few modest looking clothes, "These will do…"

"So many colors…" Akane whispered as she looked around, tail swaying lazily as Seiko walked past her into the changing rooms.

"Wow…You're still out of it," Ibuki noted, "Hehe…This could be fun~." she began spinning Akane around lightly to make the colors blur together in her eyes.

"Ibuki, please don't do that," Kaede sighed.

"But it's fun!" Ibuki argued as her rabbit was joining in spinning her.

"This is Noel and Mari all over again…" Jenny muttered as she looked around, narrowing her eyes.

"Mari's back home, Jenny," Kaede reminded, patting her shoulder.

"It's not Mari I'm worried about; it's the ones she introduced to the art," Jenny replied.

"It's not that bad…is it?" Kaede asked.

"Here's a photo I managed to take of their last club meeting that I managed to find," Jenny replied, holding up a photo of several of the animals of Kibougamine…all with notebooks and pencils with San-D looking as if they were reading from their hamster-sized notebook.

"...This looks so adorable…" Kaede replied as Hina looked.

"Ooh~They're so cute!" Hina cooed.

"Jum-P's has entire on you and Naegi and Kaede with Shuichi," Jenny stated.

"Eh~?!" Hina and Kaede exclaimed as blushes formed on them.

"Yeah, you don't wanna know what San-D's has with you, Naegi, and two others, Hina," Jenny went on.

"...Hey, wait…" Miu muttered as she looked at one notebook in the photo with her goggles over her eyes, "...me with Kazuipuki?! Ooh~! That gorilla is going down!"

"Good luck with that. I think that one is the gorilla friend of that Ultimate Female Survivalist in Akane and Ibuki's year," Jenny noted, "...Or is that the gorilla Gundham is taking care of with the ingrown toenail?"

"Why do we even have to figure out what gorilla at our school is which…" Kaede whispered.

"I can't believe she actually said that and it makes sense," Hina admitted quietly.

"Our school is 50 shades of freaky…" Miu muttered.

"Hai…" Kyoko sighed as she finished picking out a few articles of clothing, "But…it is what helps make our school feel…unique."

"Oh sure…that's easy to say…but then you remember we are haunted by monsters at night!" Miu barked.

"I mean…does that even count when we also have a masked mystery hero?" Hina argued.

"...okay, fair point."

"We've seen him out of the armor sometimes…" Kaede added.

"But…He has a hood…and moves so fast…not even Jen-chan can get a good look at him," Hina added.

"I've replayed each time I've seen him and that hood is just too good at hiding enough features I can't make a three-dimensional replica of his actual face to ID," Jenny frowned.

"Maybe he's also a ninja…" Ibuki offered, a scarf over her mouth, as she and her rabbit made a hand sign, "Nin-nin~" the rabbit lost its balance and plopped down on her head.

"That's still…a concerning mystery, but not a priority at the moment," Kyoko sighed, "Good response to when Seiko-senpai nearly fell over, Jenny."

"It's no big deal." Jenny smiled, "Just trying to be helpful is all. Plus we wanna make sure Seiko is comfortable around us."

"Comfy~" Akane purred as she was curled up into a ball in her chair.

"Well like that but less weird." Jenny smiled.

"Is she purring ironically?" Kyoko pontered, "Or is it the medication…"

"I hope this never wears off." Hina smiled, "This is the most soft and cuddly she's ever been without her little siblings~"

"It has been rather quiet…" Kaede added.

"And…us not getting into trouble for once…" Miu muttered.

"...all in favor of Kokichi nor Hiyoko not getting their hands on her medication?" Kyoko immediately asked.

"This is too much power…we should probably make sure she only takes it during bed time." Hina sighed.

"At least then it might help her sleep better." Kyoko nodded.

"How many times has she gone without sleep due to being over excited…?" Jenny muttered.

"...mmm…" Ibuki pondered as she tilted her head to the side, "...I think last time she was up for so long…it was almost an entire week…it had to take Yukizome-sensei and Mikan to get her to sleep finally…"

"...how…"

"She accidently drank a coffee Teruteru made that felt like 50 shots of expresso," Ibuki explained, "...we had to put the cafeteria on lockdown until Mikan got the sedatives ready."

"Wouldn't that have…Kuon?" Hina asked.

"Only person who could stop her without dying…" Ibuki nodded.

"...ok fair enough."

"I'm done…" the group turned to see Seiko walk out, wearing a pale dark-green turtleneck sweater and a matching skirt..yet she still had her mask over her mouth, "...I kinda like this one…"

"It's cute." Jenny smiled, "It suits you. Hmm…you really like your mask, have you considered buying multiples? You know to match your clothes?"

"I have," Seiko admitted as she held a bag up, "I need them so I don't get sick or take in any chemicals during my research."

"Oh, like goggles in science!" Ibuki noted, "They don't help when Ibuki makes things go boom though!"

"Maybe because you put in so many at once?" Miu retorted.

"...it wasn't that bad."

"You flooded the entire lab in slime-like foam…that dissolved our clothes."

"...you let her…" Seiko began in a deadpanned tone as she pointed at Ibuki, "Deal with dangerous chemicals?"

"Well they shouldn't have been…" Jenny muttered, "It was basic chemistry class…"

"Ibuki got weirdly lucky!" Ibuki smiled.

"It wasn't good luck!" most complained.

"Nya~" Akane yawned as she stretched a bit, "Hungry…"

"...maybe a bite to eat wouldn't hurt," Jenny muttered, deciding to change the subject, "You good with anything, Seiko?"

"..." Seiko said nothing as she took a deep breath, "As long…as it's nothing sweet…"

"Because of your braces, right? Miu asked, earning an elbow to the side form KAede, "Ow~ What?"

"...because of my medicine," Seiko sighed, "I….ugh it's nothing."

"Oh, well if it's important for your health, it would be nice to know so we get something everyone can enjoy." Hina offered, "I mean I like donuts, but, I know some people can't have them cause of health reasons. By the way, does anyone want to get Midnight-Donuts tonight?" she turned to her friends, "Just me, that's fine, me and Sakura-chan were gonna anyway."

"In a Hina way, she's saying it's okay if you have something you just can't eat for important reasons." Jenny muttered, "Just help so we can find something for everyone."

"Meat…." Akane yawned.

"...so….I can pick the place if I want?" Seiko cautiously asked.

"Yup," Kaede assured.

"...I…I know this one restaurant that has tea and some sugar free food," Seiko said as she began to calm down a bit, "Mind if we head there?"

"Bleck….sugar free? That's…" Miu began before Kyoko and KAede stomped on her feet, "Gh! Gr-great! That sounds great…"

"I don't mind it," Jenny smiled, "We just gotta pay for our things, and we can head there."

"...h..hai," Seiko noted as she smiled a bit behind her mask, her hair seemingly wiggling happily, almost like if a octopus was being happily praised.

"Ahh~ See?" Ibuki smiled as she slowly slid up next to her, startling the pharmacist a bit, "Ibuki knew there was a happy girl behind all that pessimism."

"...I'm surprised you know a word that advanced…"

"She does that sometimes." Hina noted.

"...n-noted…"

"This should be interesting, I like trying new foods." Hina mused as she and the rest of the girls sat at a table outside of a small restaurant, "I still have a default, so don't judge me."

"The way you process all those sweets…and still look like that…" Miu muttered, looking Hina up and down, "I hate you…"

"Hmm?" Hina blinked as she innocently titled her head in confusion.

"This seems like a nice and quiet spot," Kaede noted as she looked around the area, noting a few sakura trees planted around them.

"I often like to come here when I need to cool my head," Seiko admitted, "Especially after making an extremely difficult medicine or drug…"

'Considering she usually deals with Ruruka….I can't blame her wanting a quiet place,' Jenny thought as a waiter placed down a few cups of tea before the girls, "Oh. Why thanks."

"You're welcome, miss. Your sugar-free sweets will be done in a few," he stated before Akane's snort caught his attention, "...and our special Tortiere ported all the way from france for your sleepy friend there."

"Tortiere?" Ibuki repeated.

"It's a French-Canadian meat pie," Seiko explained, "This place often has special dishes imported from all over the world and give them out during certain days."

"Snnrrkk…Meat? Eat time now?" Akane asked in a half-awake state.

"Not yet," Kyoko responded.

"Kay," Akane muttered as she went back to sleep," Nyao…"

"...now I'm a bit curious," Seiko spoke as she looked at Jenny, "What…do you and your friends mostly do anyway?"

"Oh. We're actually a bit of a mystery solving club," Jenny admitted.

"Yup!" Ibuki beamed as she held up a flag, showing the words 'Team Hope Heart' in front of Kibougamine's symbols with chibi images of her and the others' heads surrounding it, "Team Hope Heart!"

"'Hope Heart?"

"An extension to this one group of friends she knows back in the states," Kyoko explained, "Basically we solve any mysteries going around the school. So far nothing too big to note. At least cases that won't make you…freak out…" she whispered.

"?" Seiko raised a brow at that.

"It's…best you don't know," Kaede muttered.

"You'd probably freak out," Miu bluntly stated before she felt her foot being stomped on, "GH!?"

"We end up…stumbling on some unexpectedly disturbing things." Kyoko spoke up, "So…let's leave it at; we get into nonsense. You don't strike me as the kind of friend I would willingly invite into that life."

"...fair enough," Seiko muttered, lifting her mask down as she took a sip of her tea.

"But they are fun adventures we can tell you all about them!" Ibuki smiled.

"They aren't that crazy…" Hina muttered.

"The school is haunted…by demons!" Ibuki blurted.

"?!" Seiko tensed as she nearly spat her tea out, "D-demons?!"

"Ibuki!" Kaede hissed.

"What? It's true….I mean we do have the masked knight in golden armor protecting us afterall," Ibuki muttered.

"M..masked knight?" Seiko repeated.

"Oh yeah h-" Ibuki began before Kyoko pinched her neck, "?! Nigh nigh…" she slurred as her head plopped onto the table, "Zzz…"

"It's…complicated…" Kyoko muttered.

"Really…complicated," Hina added.

"...m-maybe it's best we move onto a different topic then," Jenny offered.

"...good idea," Seiko muttered, lifting her mask back up as she put her tea down.

"...in fact, maybe I can check and see how th-" Jenny began as she got up, about to walk off before she ended up bumping into someone, "?!"

"Gh! I-I apologize miss, I…J-Jenny?"

"...Kibo?" Jenny blinked as she looked up, seeing Kibo looking down at her…before he backed away with a heavy blush on her face, "...wh-what brings you out here?"

"...N…n….no….reason…" Kibo whispered, trying his best to stay calm…with Naegi, Kuon and a few of their male friends poking out from a corner nearby, "Just…was taking a walk…j-just wasn't paying attention is all."

"...just a walk?" Fuyuhiko whispered to Kazuichi in a deadpanned tone, "Seriously?"

"What? He needed a valid reason."

"I mean…we could have gone with Kuon dragging us to a random place to eat…" Naegi offered.

"No, it wouldn't work…I never bring you guys anywhere." Kuon shook his head.

"Hey…"

"You honestly think this is gonna work?" Shuichi asked Kazuichi quietly.

"Of course!" the mechanic hissed, "If Kibo's gonna build up the courage to ask his lady love to something as important as a dance, then he needs to confront her head on and present her a gift before asking!"

"That sounds like how you usually approach Sonia," Fuyuhiko deadpanned, "And those don't work out for you…"

"Correction…they don't work for him…now in the spirit of fairness it's not a bad idea on paper." Kuon spoke up, "Maybe someone who's already got some ground in starting a relationship can make it work."

"Exactly!" Kazuichi grinned.

"Shh…Kibo's doing something," Naegi whispered, seeing Kibo trying to reach for something from the back hanging off his back.

"I uh…uh…g-got you something, W-Wakeman-san…" Kibo stammered a bit, his hand shuffling around the bag before he pulled out a bouquet of flowers, "H-here…I…I am to understand you give these to a girl in a show of affection…"

"Oh…th-that's really sweet, Kibo," Jenny smiled a bit, blushing a bit herself as she took the bouquet, "Thank you…"

"...what's h-" Seiko began before Kaede and Hina quickly shushed her, "?"

"We want to see where this goes…" Kaede quickly explained, "We ship it…"

"So hard," Hina added as the two shared a quick high five.

"...A-ano…W-wakeman-s….J…Jenny, I have something…I want to ask of you," Kibo began, taking a deep breath as he tried to remain as calm as possible, "A….as you know…th-there is a d….d…d…dance coming up…"

"Yeah…" Jenny slowly nodded.

"I…I…I was a-a-a-actually wondering if you….you…" Kibo stammered, his eyes shut as he tried to get the word out, "If you….you….you…"

"You…" Kibo began as his eyes opened up…and saw the look of confusion and concern Jenny was giving him, "..." steam shot out of his ears almost instantly as he fell onto his back.

"Abort! Abort!" Kazuichi panicked as Kuon dashed and picked up Kibo before saluting the girls and dashing away with him, "Shit shit shit!" he panicked as he and the other guys began to run, "Mission failed!"

"I told you to give him the Liquid Nitrogen cooling system…" Kuon sighed, holding Kibo over one shoulder and texting with his free hand.

"I did! He burned through all of it!" Kazuichi panicked.

"Maybe that was too forward of an approach," Shuichi pointed out.

"How else does one ask someone out?" Kuon pointed out.

"Build up to it...like normal people," Fuyuhiko deadpanned.

"Don't worry, Kibo. We'll try next time!" Naegi assured the frozen heavily blushing male robot as he and the guys turned a corner.

"...well…that happened," Miu muttered as she and the rest of the girls-minus Jenny and the sleeping Ibuki and Akane-blinked in unison.

Kyoko blinked while checking her phone, "Ah…so that explains it." she clicked the screen off.

"What happened?" Hina asked.

"I'll explain later…" Kyoko whispered.

"...ahh. Gotcha."

"...I feel like I'm missing context here," Seiko whispered, noticing Jenny just standing there as she looked at the bouquet of flowers in her hand.

"Short version: Jen-chan and Kibo-kun, both robotic people, both probably infatuated with each other due to their being similar like that, super adorable, we are trying to just watch and let things happen…but both are dumb-dumbs at this." Hina explained with a whisper, "There's actually a funny story in all this, but…save that for the long version, later."

"It's very interesting." Hina nodded.

"...Jenny, are you alright?" Kaede spoke up, snapping the robot girl out of her thoughts.

"...yeah…I'm good," Jenny assured as she turned, shaking her head as she still had a bit of her blush on her face, "Just…was taken by surprise by the sudden gift from Kibo is all."

"Aw~ You're shy over a gift from a boy, how out of chara~" Ibuki teased, "The normally outgoing Jen-chan floored by a boy~"

"I-Ibuki…" Jenny whispered as her blush increased.

"...weren't you…?" Seiko began, about to point at the musician before stopping, "...no no…probably best not to ask."

"I know when I'm needed." Ibuki smiled.

"You're getting used to breaking out of that…" Kyoko muttered.

"It only sticks for a long time if Sakura and Kuon do it…" Hina muttered.

"I think he wanted to ask you something important, but got so shy he overheated and crashed." Kyoko smiled to Jenny.

"Oh…" Jenny blinked a bit before looking down at the bouquet, "...ah Kibo…" she whispered as a small smile grew on her face.

"Well it's a step." Hina smiled.

"One of many, but yup," Kaede added.

"Ahem! Excuse me, madams," the girls looked over to see the waiter with their food, "I believe your food is ready."

"SNkr! Food?" Akane snorted as she shot up half awake.

"Yes…food time, just sit and wait, silly tiger lady." Ibuki smiled gently, patting Akane's head.

"...mmm~" Akane purred a bit as her tail swayed a bit.

"...you know, there's something peaceful about the park around this time of the day," Kaede spoke as the girls were now sitting in the park, the sky starting to become an evening orange as the sun was already starting to set in the distance.

"Probably because there's nobody else here around this time aside from the usual couple or someone walking their pet," Miu muttered as she relaxed in her seat, "...but yeah….I get ya."

"Well I find myself more relaxed in the water, but…can't argue, the sky is so pretty like this, almost magical." Hina smiled, "It's the little things. I guess we forget how peaceful things are, we used to be so stressed with having to train our talents."

"That is true…" Kaede nodded.

"At least…we can take this time to enjoy ourselves," Kyoko sighed a bit in agreement.

"Yup!" Ibuki beamed.

"Finally blew through that medicine enough to enjoy this at least…" Akane muttered, laying on her side on the grass as she nibbled on her leftover meat pie.

"Still have to take it to keep yourself in control," Seiko stated.

"Fair…"

"But…yeah…" Seiko whispered as she looked out at the evening sky, "I enjoyed myself today…"

"Glad to hear that," Jenny smiled a bit, "...hey Seiko…mind if I ask you something?"

"Hmm?" Seiko blinked as she looked at her.

"What made you decide to become a pharmacist?"

"..."

"It's fine. You're with friends here," Kaede assured.

"We're here to listen!" Ibuki beamed as she poked her head out between the.

"..." Seiko looked around hesitantly, making sure…she wasn't in the area, "...promise you won't tell anyone else?"

"Of course." Jenny nodded.

"Ibuki pinkie promises!"

"Not again…" Akane groaned.

"What? It's effective," Ibuki argued.

"Last time someone broke one of your 'pinkie promises' Ibuki…you went on a rampage around the campus to get said person who broke the promise to apologize," Miu muttered.

"Says the girl who broke said pinkie promise," Kyoko retorted, making Miu tense up.

"But yeah…we promise to keep it a secret between us," Jenny assured Seiko.

"...ok," Seiko sighed a bit as she looked up at the evening clouds, "I was always a bit….sickly when I was a kid, so I often had to go to the hospital to get treated..but honestly? I didn't mind it. It would let me get a chance to see how doctors would work with various medicines and drugs to help their patients out. Eventually something came to my mind when I was a bit older…'what if I could improve on those medicines and drugs?' I even begged my parents to get me some books on different chemicals and…a Jr lab kit to start making some medicines…all the things I needed to learn more about pharmaceuticals and such."

"So you want to help people. What's so bad about that?" Jenny smiled, only to earn silence in response, "...it involves Ruruka, doesn't it?"

"...me, her and Sonosuke went to the same schools growing up," Seiko sighed, "We didn't become friends until one day…" she paused as her hand shook a bit, "...there was this puppy that had gotten ill in my neighborhood, so I made some medicine to help heal it…it was a success….but after the puppy and its mother walked off…a car ended up running the mother over."

"Oh no…" Hina whispered as she held her hand over her mouth.

"I tried…tried my best to revive the mother…but….I couldn't save it…" Seiko whispered as she looked down, "I felt…as if I failed the puppy after saving it…that is until Ruruka came and cheered me up, saying I managed to save the puppy at least…"

'So she wasn't totally manipulative back then…' Jenny thought.

"As we waited for the rain to stop, she offered me one of her sweets, but…I told her I couldn't eat it," Seiko continued as she sighed a bit, "I felt really bad about it…especially after she came out in the rain to cheer me up…so I told myself since I couldn't eat what she made, I'd do anything for her."

"...So you felt like you owe her," Kyoko noted, earning a small nod from her.

'...And she took advantage of that,' Jenny thought with a frown, 'She took advantage at the fact she had low self-esteem…and the fact she wanted to be friends with her…'

"No offense, but that doesn't seem totally healthy…" Hina spoke up, "I get you've been 'friends' for a long time, but it just seems like she's abusing your good nature."

"N-not true!" Seiko argued a bit as she looked over, "I've done as much as I could to help her…help her with test, getting ingredients to make more of her sweets…e-even try to get a gift for her for the holidays and such…but….after we entered Kibougamine…she started changing. One day I heard her talking with someone…and that since I couldn't eat her sweets, I'd have to do whatever she says as payback…"

"Told ya…manipulative bitch," Miu bluntly spoke up, earning an elbow to the sides from both Kaede and Kyoko, "Ow~ What?"

"But...I know deep down she's still that girl that helped cheered me up on that day," Seiko stated as she smiled a bit behind her mask, "So…I just have to bear through this…"

"...Or maybe…that's who she really is," Jenny spoke up with a frown, making Seiko blink a bit, "Seiko…I'm sorry but I have to tell you this…Ruruka's not your friend."

"Eh?"

"A real friend wouldn't take advantage of your kindness and make you feel like you owe them," Jenny stated as she spoke in a serious tone, "If she really was your friend, she wouldn't make you do things you're probably not comfortable with…like using your medicine just to enhance her sweets."

"...But…we really are friends…" Seiko spoke as she looked at her, "I…I know it may seem that way, but…I know she may have a valid reason for the things she has me do for her…"

"...I know sometimes Friends can be annoying and do things they don't mean…but…I just get this feeling she is not much more cruel than you believe." Jenny spoke, "I just…if you don't believe me, just rethink things, and look at your relationship over more carefully."

"...you wanted to talk to her about how she's been acting, haven't you?" Kaede asked, earning silence from her, "...you can't, can you?"

"...I…I just…."

"Seiko-chan~"

"And cue the wicked bitch of the west," Miu whispered as Jenny frowned a bit, noticing Ruruka and Sonosuke walking over with the latter holding an umbrella over the former.

"I was wondering where you went," Ruruka noted as Seiko looked down a bit, "I was waiting for you near the school all day…I wanted to tell you that the sweets I made from that special thing you gave me came out perfectly!"

"...th-that's great…" Seiko spoke as she looked up.

"I'd ask if you want one, but…I know you can't eat my sweets," Ruruka pouted a bit as she turned, "But that's fine. I still need to save some for tomorrow anyway…the presentation part of the exam is tomorrow after all."

"It's tomorrow?!" Kaede and Miu freaked.

"Uh…duh," Ruruka deadpanned at that, "Wow...I knew you V3 kids were a bit slow…"

"Grr…" Jenny growled a bit at that, about to get up before Kyoko and Hina held her down.

"But…since I found you here…would you mind letting me into your lab so I can get a refill just in case?" Ruruka asked Seiko, earning silence from the pharmacist in response, "...mm…I thought we were friends…"

"?!" Seiko tensed at that.

"I mean…you did promise you'd do anything for me since you can't eat my sweets after all," Ruruka 'sighed' as she shook her head, "But I promise you…after the test tomorrow, I promise you I won't bug ya about your drugs for a while."

'Liar…' Jenny mentally scowled.

"...Seiko-sempai, don't. She…" Hina began as Seiko stood up.

"Ok….I'll go on ahead and get it for you," Seiko sighed as she looked down.

"I knew you wouldn't let me down," Ruruka smiled a bit as Seiko picked her bags up.

"...For all it was worth…" Seiko whispered as she looked at the girls of Team Hope Heart, "I…did have a good day with you all…"

"Now wait just a moment." Kyoko spoke up, making everyone blink, "I think things are getting tense, so how about we all call it a day, and everyone…" she lingered on Ruruka, "Head back to our rooms?"

"...Sonosuke-kun, mind escorting Seiko-chan back to school?" Ruruka asked 'sweetly' to her boyfriend, "I want to talk to these nice girls here."

"...of course."

"Hey, she doesn't need to go anywhere she doesn't want." Ibuki spoke up as she got before Seiko...only for Sonosuke to lift her up by her uniform and placed her to the side, "...wow you're good…"

"Ibuki..." Kaede facepalmed as Seiko began to follow Sonosuke, "...Seiko-sempai, please don't…"

"...gomen," Seiko sighed, looking back at them before she resumed following Sonosuke.

"...I know who you girls are, so I'll state this…" Rruuka spoke up, her sweet look gone as a frown grew on it, "Stay out of it…"

"I don't think we're gonna be doing that." Jenny replied as she glared back at her.

"Look I don't get what your part of the story is, but your actions are far from what anyone would consider friendship." Kyoko added, "This goes beyond asking for a friendly favor."

"Yeah! You're just using her to get stuff you want!" Hina added.

"Pfft…not my fault she's so naive and yearning for friendship," Ruruka scoffed, "Plus…she owes me for not eating the sweets I pour my heart and soul into…even coming up with the excuse that she'll die if she ate one due to her medicine. Can you believe that?"

"That's true," Kyoko frowned, "You don't even know of her own health conditions…it's just all about you in your mind, isn't it?"

"That's not true," Ruruka pouted, "...It's all about me and my precious Sonosuke-kun."

"You just proved her point right there," Akane spoke up.

"Uh…does she mean that Sonosuke?" Ibuki asked, making Ruruka blink before Sonosuke was suddenly tossed across the ground.

"...grr…" Sonosuke growled as he got up, a kunai slipping from his coat as he caught it before his other hand held up five separate kunai.

"I had nothing to do with this!" Naegi panicked, hiding behind a tree with Seiko.

"Don't worry about it, I just wanted to set the record straight…" Kuon smirked, cracking his neck, "This twink pissed me off…now I need to show him not to point those things at folks like me." He then tossed his jacket aside as he rolled his shoulders and stood ready to start a fight.

"Ah…I knew you got your title for a reason! You just enjoy fighting!" Naegi panicked.

"Kick his ass, buddy!" Akane cheered on.

"D-don't encourage him!" Hina yelped.

"...Fine…I will kill you…" Sonosuke began as he got into a stance, "In the name of sweets and deweciousness…"

"...and you just ruined your whole speech like th-" Kuon began before he ducked under the thrown kunai, charging straight up the the blacksmith as he punched him..only to grunt when he pulled back his bleeding hand from a dummy…made from kunai with a copy of Sonosuke's jacket on it, "Okay…that's a first…" he muttered before moving out of the way of a rain of senbon needles.

"Ninja….?" Naegi muttered.

"Well now that hardly seems fair…" Kuon grunted, avoiding another Kunai before turning as Sonosuke was about to thrust another right at him. But Kuon's hand swung up even faster as he caught Sonosuke's wrist between his index and middle finger, before the upperclassman suddenly found himself on his back from a flip so fast he couldn't register it, "If your enemy isn't put off by your having a weapon, that's the moment you should reconsider the gap in your fighting abilities." he spoke as he held his hand up to reveal the kunai in his hand before he used his thumb to push down on the tip…and snap it in half.

"?!" Sonosuke's eyes widened slightly before he jumped back, "...not bad…I underestimate you…but…in a fight…" he began as he held up a string, "Keep track of your surroundings."

"?" Kuon raised a brow at that…only to tense when he realized where the string was leading to, "...GIRLS GET DOWN!"

"Wh-" Miu began before Jenny got before her friends…and inadvertently Ruruka as her hands converted into a large shield just as Sosnouke pulled on the string, causing the kunai dummy to 'explode, sending out a huge wave of kunai throughout the area.

"Oh geez!" Naegi yelped as he and Seiko got back behind cover.

"Hph…" Ruruka just smirked as the kunai rain began to die down, not even phased as she looked out at Kuon, who was now sporting a few bleedings cuts on his arms and legs while a few kunai were embedded in his back, "Your friend may be strong…but my boyfriend knows how to use the field to his advantage."

"Still standing? Tha-?!" Sonosuke flinched when Kuon's hand suddenly palmed his face and slammed him headfirst into the ground.

"If you're ready to turn the level up…then be ready for the other guy to do the same…" Kuon spoke as his grip kept Sonosuke from moving, "I let things pass if they're aimed at me…but I just can't stand it when my friends are in the line of fire…" he stood up straight and lifted Sonosuke up with his extended hand, "Then if you're gonna put their lives on the line…" he reared his free hand up and slowly closed his fist, Sonosuke swore it looked as if an ominous glow was forming around his fist, "You are telling me yours is on the line…grit those teeth…" he punched only for his hand to pass his head as Sonosuke's eyes widened, "Heh…" he pushed him down, "I already won."

"Huh?" Sonosuke blinked, trying to get up but his arms and legs wouldn't allow him.

"..." Kuon said nothing as he just walked away, "I wanted to get a few licks in to feel better…but this is just pathetic…now I gotta replace my clothes…"

"?! S…Sonosuke-kun?" Ruruka whispered with wide eyes, quickly rushing over to him, "You..you lost?"

"...mmm…" Rururka pouted, getting up from her knees as she glared at Kuon, "Hey you! That was uncalled for!"

"..." Kuon stopped as he turned his head to give a cold glare as the look of anger made his black eyes look like deep dark voids. He stared at her for a long moment before turning away, "...Get out of my sight…"

"..." Ruruka said nothing as she lifted up Sonosuke best she could, "...y…you…" she paused as she looked back at the girls, "You'll pay for this…" she frowned as she began to drag him off, "Seiko! We need to get him to the hospital!"

"...h-hey…you d-" Naegi began before Seiko began to walk out, "..."

"H…he'll need the right medicine for his paralyzed limbs…sorry…"

"Seiko, don't…" Jenny whispered as she dismissed her shield, a sad look in her eyes as she and the others looked on as Seiko was helping Ruruka drag Sonosuke off, "..."

"...well..so much for a good day…" Miu muttered.

"I thought we made progress too…" Hina sighed.

"We kinda did…until queen bitch had to go ruin it," Akane stated, "...then again I was blacked out most of the day due to that medicine Seiko made for me…"

"Well at least now we know how crazy both of them are at least…" Miu muttered.

"Not helping Miu!" Kaede hissed.

"..." Jenny stayed silent as she began to lower her head.

"...Jen? You okay?" Ibuki asked in concern.

"Why…?" Jenny whispered, her hands balling up into fist before she punched a nearby tree, causing it to fall over, "Why can't Seiko understand we're trying to help her?! Why can't she see Ruruka's just using her!?"

"..it's infuriating, I know…" Kyoko sighed, her own hand balled up into a fist before she took a deep breath, "But…there may not be much we can do about it…"

"But…we can't just let her get away with using her like that!" Jenny argued, small tears forming in the corner of her eyes as she changed into her red color for a moment, "The fact Ruruka's just taking advantage of her like that is just…just…GRAAAGH!" she yelled out as she punted a trash can into the distance.

"...oh I hope we don't' end up having to replace that," Naegi whispered, deciding to hide behind the tree still so he doesn't end up earning Jenny's ire, "...e-eto…maybe we should get Kuon to Mikan? He did end up tanking all those kunai…" he pointed out, lightly poking out from behind the tree.

"I'm fine…" Kuon assured as he took a few steps...before he fell to a knee, "Not a word…"

"...Naegi's right. Let's take him to Mika to get mended," Kaede spoke as she and Akane began to approach Kuon, "Jenny, mind helping us?"

"...yeah….I'll try," Jenny whispered, changing back to her normal colors as she walked over..all while brushing away her tears.

"I said I'm fine, all who touch me will regret this…" Kuon grunted, trying to move, "God damn it…he coated them in stuff…I'm gonna break his teeth next time…" he muttered as Akane and Jenny helped him up.

"Next time...let me join," Akane whispered with a frown, "Damn cheap-shotting asshole…"

"That was stupid, you don't even use weapons." Jenny sighed.

"Bah…ten thousand yen I'm better with a sword than him…" Kuon grumbled as he looked upwards while blushing from shame of being unable to move, "I just prefer using my hands, at least my hands are covered in muscle so it won't hit as hard…"

"It's fine, Jenny…" Hina assured as she put a hand on her shoulder, "I'm sure we'll get it through to her one day…even if we have to keep dealing with Ruruka and her just as nasty boyfriend."

"Again, I could always pop her in the face and get her to shut up," Akane offered as she pounded her fist into her open palm, "That or me and Kuon can double team on mr. blacksmith ninja and beat his ass into the ground."

"Let's just go…" Jenny sighed as she walked ahead, "If we hurry…we can be there to give Kaede and Miu support since they're gonna be doing their presentations right after…" she paused before growling as she turned red, "Ruruka…"

"...Jen, don't let her g-" Hina began before a crash went off, "?!"

"What the…?!" Akane blinked as she and the others ran ahead, skidding to a halt once they turned a corner…and saw both Seiko and Komaeda on the ground with various papers and a pair of duffle bags on the floor.

"Ite…that hurt," Komaeda whispered, rubbing the back of his head as he got up, "...Seiko-sempai?" he blinked once he finally noticed her, "Are…you okay?"

"I…I'm fine. Just…really stressed," she muttered as she picked up one of the duffle bags just as she got up, "And in a hurry."

"Oh…fair," he muttered before smiling, "By the way, I want to thank you for those laxatives the other day. Thanks to it, it just kept coming out."

"Komaeda ew!" Hina gagged.

"Seriously what is wrong with you, man?!" Kuon snapped.

"Hmm?" Komaeda blinked as he looked over at them, "Oh…hey minna. Didn't see you there."

"Di…?!" Kuon began before he began to choke the air, almost like he was trying to choke Komaeda, "Oh..oh you…!"

"..so…my medicine worked?" Seiko asked Komaeda.

"Hai."

"...mmm~" she began to squeal a bit, smiling behind her mask as her hair began to wriggle around…before she tensed up with her hair standing up straight, "Ahh! I'll be late!" she yelped as she began to run off.

"Seiko, w-" Jenny began as she reached out to her, only for her cry to fall on deaf ears as Seiko was already further ahead, "..." she began to lower her head as she gave a small sigh…before grabbing Komaeda's arm as he was about to walk off, "What's in the bag, Komaeda?"

"Eh?"

"You're acting rather calm given its exam day…" she stated, looking up as he saw the look of anger in her eyes, "I had a really good day ruined yesterday, so you better tell us what you have in that bag or else."

"Eh?" Komaeda blinked at that, completely unphased by the glare she was giving him, "What do you mean? I'm not trying to hide anything."

"...Akane, Kuon?"

"Eh?" Komaeda blinked further before he was suddenly picked up with his duffle bag being snatched, "I swear I'm not doing anything devious."

"Lets see what…uh…what?" Akane blinked, looking in the bag as Kuon held Komaeda.

"What…what could he possibly have this time?" Kuon sighed.

"It's weird. He's got a lot of tubes and vials in here," Akane muttered as she looked through the bag, "...Hey, Komaeda. You're not secretly making drugs are you?"

"Eh?" Komaeda blinked at that, "Eto…those aren't mine."

"...eh? They're not?"

"I'm telling you the truth…besides I don't touch that kind of thing."

"...Wait…if that's not yours…then…" Jenny began as her eyes scanned the bag, "...Kuon, shake down Komaeda."

"Sh-shake down?" Komaeda repeated before Kuon turned him upside down…and began to shake him as various stuff began to fall out of his pockets…most of which being pencils, pens…a LOT of bagels oddly enough, and a remote control, "..."

"Wait...this looks like…" Hina began as she picked up the remote, "This looks like the kind of remote you use for a…" she tensed before quickly dropping the remote, "A bomb!" she quickly looked at Komaeda, "You were gonna bomb the school?!"

"...yes," Komaeda admitted, "But it was for a good cause."

"Good cause?!"

"Hai…Yesterday while you guys were gone, I saw how the V3 class seemed to freak out since today was the presentation part of the exam, so I wanted to help them out," Komaeda explained.

"So you were intending on blowing up the school?!" Jenny snapped.

"Of course….anything so they'd have a hopeful day and to catch up on their projects," Komaeda smiled like he wasn't doing this out of malicious intent.

"..." Kuon put him down and turned around to just groan.

"Oh Komaeda….why…?" Hina facepalmed.

"You…you have serious issues," Akane deadpanned.

"Hmm?" Komaeda blinked at that.

"...Wait…if this isn't your bag….that means…" Jenny began as a look of realization hit her, "...Seiko ended up grabbing your bag by mistake…"

"Get the bag!" Kuon called out, "We can deal with him later! But that is all kinds of bad!"

"Hina, call one of the guys!" Jenny shouted as she, Kuon, Akane and Hina began to run off, "We need someone to watch Komaeda so he doesn't make things worse!"

"Hai!" Hina nodded as she had her phone out.

"Komaeda, don't you dare move!" Jenny shouted.

"Eh? But I…"

"DON'T!" the three girls and Kuon snapped in unison, the volume of their voices causing him to fly into the wall.

"...eh?"

"Tch…why does this bitch have to go first?" Miu huffed, she and Kaede sitting at the sides with their classmates as Ruruka stood before a table with a few teachers and students sitting behind it..with Headmaster Kriigiri sitting in the middle.

"Rruuka Ando…you are the Ultimate Confectioner, correct?" Kirigiri asked, looking down at a clip board in his hand.

"H-hai," Ruruka nodded, both Seiko and Sosnosuke sitting nearby, "I'd like to present to you all something I made recently…hopefully it'll amaze your tastebuds," she misled as she motioned to the pastries on their plates, a sky-blue colored cream in the center between two of the pastries, "These are Sky-Blue-Heaven Days Choux Cremes! If I were to describe them, they're like sweets from heaven itself."

"More like hell coming from you," Miu silently retorted, only to earn an elbow from Kaede, "Ow…what? It's true…"

"One bite of these, and you'll be brimming with power that can make you feel as if you're flying," Ruruka continued with a proud smile, "Now please…tremble with joy at their incredible deliciousness!"

"Hmm…" Kirigiri muttered a bit as he looked down at his plate before looking to the side at one of the teachers…who was an Incursean in a purple business suit and a pair of glasses, "What do you think?"

"I have heard of Choux Cremes during my time here on Earth, headmaster," he noted as he examined his own, "The way these look..you can tell a lot of love was put into these…plus these types of pastries are not that easy to make from what I read, so this should be a treat."

"So sweet I just wanna throw up…" Miu groaned before pulling her phone out after feeling it buzz in silent mode like crazy, "What's so…hmm…bomb…in the school…panic…no don't…get everyone out now…" she read, "Wha…?"

"?!" Kaede's eyes widened at that," A…A bomb…?"

"...eh don't worry. It's probably a p-" Miu began before her phone buzzed once more, "...'it is not a prank…Komaeda's behind it…ended up swapping bags with Seiko by accident.'...of course its bagel boy's fault…"

"What do we do?" Kaede asked.

"...simple," was all Miu said as she stood up, one of her backpack's robotic arms reaching into it and pulled out a megaphone, "Ahem…"

"...Miu wh-"

"EVERYONE GET THE FUCK OUT!" Miu shouted into the megaphone, making everyone tensed up just as one of the teachers bit into their Choux Cremes, "THERE'S A FUCKING BOMB IN THE SCHOOL!"

"A-A BOMB?!" one student freaked.

"There is bomb in school?!" Gonta gasped.

"MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!" Miu shouted as multiple students began to run.

"What are you doing?!" Maki hissed to her, "This is probably th-" she began before Kaede showed her Miu's phone, "...god damn it, Komaeda…"

"Scram! Hit the bricks! This is not a joke, not a prank! A crazy student thought this would be comparable to pulling a fire alarm! Get on out of here randos and mobs!" Miu shouted into the megaphone as more students ran.

"Iruma-san, you better explain yourself!" Kirigiri shouted as he and his fellow teachers stood up, "Proclaiming a bomb threat is a-"

"Oh…" one of the teachers groaned as they held their stomach.

"Mr. Niijima?" the Incursean teacher blinked, "What is wrong?"

"My stomach…feels like it is turning inside out…"

"Wh-what?" Ruruka blinked at that

"I got no freakin' idea what that's about, swear to god, but I ain't lying, one student legit thought a bomb threat would get us a day off…" Miu spoke up before pointing to the teacher again, "One more time…No clue what that's about. Not even on my radar honestly, there is a bathroom on the way out Teach, go and use it!"

"Thanks!" Mr. Niijima shouted as he ran off.

"Oh…what else could go wrong on the…last day we need this…" Kirigiri sighed before the doors to the gymnasium were kicked open, "?!"

"Made it!" Akane shouted as she lowered her leg.

"Seiko, drop that bag!" Jenny shouted.

"Eh?" Seiko blinked at that, a blur running past her as Kuon skid to a halt near the other door, "?!"

"Oh for the love of…" he groaned, opening the bag, "It's Komaeda's alright!" he called out, "Oh kami what is wrong with that man…man got me holding a bag of explosives…"

"Just toss it out!" Hina shouted.

"Right!" Kuon nodded, reeling his arm back before tossing the bag far out the door before shutting it, "We're safe!"

"Oh thank god…" the others sighed in relief at that.

"...but…I don't get it…" Ruruka whispered, a look of disbelief on her face" How did my pastries do that…I used the right ingredients…"

"...did you?" Jenny frowned as she stomped up to her, "Or was it your 'special ingredient?'"

"What is happening?" Seiko whispered.

"You grabbed Komaeda's bag…which was full of explosives…" Hina explained, making her tense up in surprise and shock, "It's…ah…details to follow…" she sighed in exasperation, "Trust me it's stupid…"

"...f..fair e-"

"...Ando-san?" Kirigiri spoke up with a frown, making Ruruka tense a up, "What special ingredient was Wakeman-san talking about?"

"...I have no idea wh-" Ruruka began before Jenny reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a familiar bottle, "H-hey!"

"This, Headmaster," Jenny explained, "She most likely used this to 'enhance' her pastries to make them taste good….though I don't know why it caused that effect to one of the teachers…"

"Oi…ain't that Komaeda's ahem…medicine for his…bathroom issues?" Kuon asked as he walked over.

"Huh?" Jenny blinked, "...no it can't be. The label clearly says its…" she began before she noticed something…a side of the label slightly peeled with what looked like another label behind it, "...wait…" she whispered as she peeled the label off, "...it is…"

"What?" Ruruka whispered with wide eyes…before she looked over at Seiko ,"You…you tried to sabotage me?"

"Woman we just said things got switched…" Kuon muttered, "Did you just hear every other word or are you just stupid?"

"NO! I clearly read the label!" Ruruka snapped at him, "I never saw that the label was fake…Seiko must've done that to get back at me then!"

"What?!" Seiko gasped at that, "B…n-no! I didn't do that!"

"Liar!" Ruruka snapped as she glared at her, "This is payback because you wouldn't eat my sweets!" Jenny moved to say something but Kuon held his arm in front of her as he looked at Seiko.

"?! G….gr…" Seiko shook before pulling her mask down, "You should've known why I can't have anything with sugar! My medication would make me die if I did!"

"Oh of course! Use that excuse to not eat my pastries!"

"D-do you even hear yourself!?" Seiko snapped.

"How can I?! How can I even trust someone who won't even eat my sweets!?" Ruruka snapped.

"I did everything you wanted me to do, and you're blaming me for a mix up?!" Seiko snapped back.

"Well maybe you should better check your things before you give them out, you freak!"

"?!" Seiko's eyes widened at that, "...She…..she was right…"

"Who was right?" Ruruka demanded before looking over at Jenny, "...it's that tincan isn't it? She told you something didn't she?!"

Kuon stopped Jenny from saying anything as he walked up, "I would just like to start this by saying, I told you so," he smiled to Jenny before he suddenly clapped his hands right in Ruruka's face, the volume of the clap shocking her as her eyes went wide…and she fell over, "...and there we go…now t-" he began before quickly grabbing a pair of kunai aimed at his face, "...oh you want round 2?"

"You'll pay for that…" Sonosuke scowled, more kunai in his hands as he gave Kuon and the girls a death glare, "All of you…"

"Hah…okay…" Kuon sighed, "I guess I should deal with this before I upset the teachers any further…" he held his arm up as he curled his fingers into a fist, but extended two of his fingers out slightly, he then took a deep breach before punching Sonosuke in the abdomen, making him lock up…and fall over with a gasping breath, "I think he's okay…he had like a vest of throwing sharp things under his clothing to soak up most of that…"

"What did you do?" Hina blinked.

"Nothing…that was just…you know…maybe…more…of a…ehem…lethal…attack…" Kuon muttered coughing a few times, "J-just a little…just a tiny bit…like teeny-tiny…" he sweated while looking at the ceiling.

"...bad ass…" Akane whispered as her tail popped out and wagged slightly.

"...and I thought my class was rambunctious," the Incursean teacher whispered.

"..ahem," Kirigiri cleared his throat, making all the students tense up, "This has been an…eventful morning, but…" he paused as a small frown grew on his face, "Rules have been broken..so I'll need to discuss certain…things with you students…"

"...oh no…."

"...welp, nice knowing you guys...but Miu don't do detention," Miu spoke, about to press a button on her backpack;s straps before Kaede stopped her, "...Akamatsu…please let go."

"No."

"I'm too sexy and smart for jail!"

"Woman shut up before I come over there!" Kuon snapped.

"EEEK! Y…yes sir…"

"...It…it's true…" Seiko whispered, looking down at the fainted Ruruka as she shook, "You…you were never really my friend…I…I gave up so much for you…"

"...Seiko…" Jenny whispered, walking over to her before pulling her into a hug.

"?" Seiko blinked in surprise at that, "...W…Wakeman-san?"

"I wanted you to see what I meant…but not like this. I can't tell you for sure if it was all false, but at some point…Ruruka stopped being a friend, and became your tormentor. Maybe…maybe she just is wired like that, I can't say for sure. But…I didn't want you to realize it this way…" Jenny explained.

"Hmm…" Kuon sighed as they all watched.

"What did you mean by 'I told you so'?" Hina asked.

"...everyone is strong when they need to be. Sometimes it just takes extraordinary circumstances for them to show it." Kuon replied, "Even someone you want to protect…can surprise you."

"...man makes a point," Akane nodded a bit, "You can only push someone so far…until something in their head tells them 'enough is enough' before taking that action."

"..." seiko said nothing as she visibly shook, small tears forming in the corner of her eyes as she began to cry into Jenny's shoulders, feeling relieved…yet at the same time betrayed at seeing Ruruka's true nature and how she saw her.

"Ooh…this is intense," Ibuki whispered, she and the girls standing outside of Headmaster Kirigiri's office as her rabbit laid on her shoulder in equal worry, "Ibuki hasn't felt this nervous since her first concert…"

"Bah…kicked out of one place, kicked out of all of 'em…" Kuon shrugged as he leaned against the wall, "Oh…guess it's back to the underground fighting ring for me then…"

"But you tossed the bombs out the door before knocking out Sonosuke before things could get worse," Kaede pointed out.

"Yeah…but I doubt the headmaster will take kindly to nearly killing the guy," Kuon retorted, "Speaking of said prick and his 'sweet' girlfriend, chances are those two are gonna be expelled for the shit they pulled."

"But what about Seiko?" Hina asked, "She was being used by them…well mostly Ruruka but still!"

"I know, but this type of thing isn't exactly easy," Kyoko sighed, "She helped Ruruka in cheating in her studies and providing her with drugs to 'enhance' her pastries."

"Well…let's just hope he's more reasonable towards this whole topic then what I hear about the idiots in America." Kuon sighed, "I'll be fine if I'm kicked out, but I bet I can take some heat off you guys…somehow…"

"...Seiko.." Jenny whispered in worry as she looked on at the door.

"...hey don't worry, Jen," Akane spoke as she put a hand on her shoulder, "I'm sure they might go easy on Seiko…least…I hope so…"

"After all that drama, they have to consider both versions of the story." Kuon sighed.

"They better, otherwise Ibuki will be upset!" Ibuki declared as she rose a fist into the air…with her rabbit slightly raising a paw with her, "See?! Usagi-kun agrees with Ibuki!"

"Ibuki, y-" Kaede began before the door to Kirigiri's office opened, letting Seiko walk out as she had her head lowered, "...oh no…"

"What happened?" Jenny asked as she and the others approached.

"...I was expelled for providing dangerous drugs to a student," Seiko sighed a bit, "Ruruka and Sosnosuke were expelled and were stripped of their Ultimate titles for how they treated their students…and because the former was using my drugs and medicine in her sweets."

"Serves them right," Kaede frowned a bit.

"...wait…what are you hiding?" Miu asked, noting how Seiko hadn't lifted her head up yet, "You're not as upset as you were earlier."

"...w-well…turns out a group called the Plumbers caught wind of my skills in the pharmaceutical field," Seiko admitted as she looked up, smiling behind her mask, "I was accepted into an apprenticeship program to help with my research!"

"...Wait Jen ain't those your friends?" Kuon blinked.

"I think she means the Japanese branch of the Plumbers, Kuon," Jenny pointed out before smiling, "Still, that's great Seiko!"

"To be honest, I'm nervous about it, but at the same time..I can't help but be a little excited!" Seiko couldn't help but beam, "I..I honestly don't know what to say….but…" she paused as she bowed to them, "Thank you…"

"Eh?"

"Thank you…for helping me open my eyes to the truth," Seiko stated, "If you weren't there for me…the whole situation could've been worse."

"Not really…Jen could've got rid of the bomb faster," Miu muttered before Kaede grabbed her ear, "Owowowowo~"

"Not…the point, Miu," Kaede sighed.

"Again, I want to thank you for helping me….thank you…" Seiko paused as she looked back up, pulling her mask down to let them see the smile on her face as small tears formed at the corners of her eyes, "For being actual friends to me…"

"...it's no problem, Seiko," Jenny smiled back, "Glad we were able to help you out is all."

"And hey. If you're ever back in the neighborhood, why don't we hang out again sometime?" Hina offered, "Heck, maybe by then you'll have made something that can keep even Kuon calm."

"Pfft! Please…like there's a medicine that can keep me down," Kuon huffed.

"I dunno…" Akane muttered as she pulled her bottle of medicine out of her cleavage, "This stuff was pretty strong when I used it."

"That's because it was made specifically for you," Kyoko deadpanned.

"And I don't have any literal alien DNA." Kuon added.

"So you say…" several muttered.

"Oi! I am 100 percent Earth grown!"

"Well…An Earth…" Zaruba chuckled.

"You shut it," Kuon quickly hissed to the ring.

"...still," Jenny began as she looked back at Seiko, "If you're ever around and have some free time, we can hang out again and share stories."

"I'd honestly like that," Seiko smiled as she put her mask back on, "To be honest…I never thought an accident in my lab would lead to me finding actual friends…though….that honestly begs the question…"

"Hmm?" the girls of Team Hope Heart blinked at that as Seiko pulled out the bottle Ruruka had.

"Ruruka ended up taking the Reactivator meant for Nagito Komaeda, and yet he told me his problem went away," Seiko muttered, "...If that's the case….what happened to the actual drug Ruruka was gonna take from me?"

"...that's…honestly a good…" Kaede began before loud bark caught everyone's attention, "?!"

"Wh-what was that?!" Hina yelped.

"Hmm?" Ibuki blinked as Usagi-kun pointed at the window, prompting her to walk over and look outside, "...uh….guys? You happen to see any wanted signs of a dog Gungun lost?"

"...why….?" Kyoko cautiously asked.

"Komaeda found it…and its huge!"

"WHAT!?" Kuon shouted in shock, "Woman this is black magic not science!"

"I'm not kidding!" Ibuki argued as she bolted behind him and began to push him towards the window, "Look! He's riding a giant doggo!"

"Ibuki seriously…there's no way that the dog has g-" Kyoko began as she and the others walked over…only to blink when they looked out and saw Komaeda…actually riding a giant version of the dog on the wanted poster, "..."

"...so…you invented the Titan Formula…" Kuon muttered, looking at Seiko for a moment, "Hahaha…ah…oh you are Black magic aren't you…?"

"..." Seiko blinked for a moment before pulling out a notepad and pen before writing down on it, "Side effect…causes certain species of canines to grow if ingested…"

"...sh…should we stop him?" Hina asked.

"I'm…sure he's f-" Kaede began.

"The dog's chasing Kazupucki and the bum," Miu deadpanned.

"AHH HELP!" Kazuichi and Hagakure's voices screamed.

"Now hold on…we don't know for sure it's dangerous…it's just a giant puppy." Kuon argued, "What's the worst that could happen? it licks them and they smell like dog breath for the day."

"Try telling that to the steaks hanging off their backs," Miu countered, her goggles on as she spotted a pair of steaks hanging off Kazuichi and Hagakure's backs as they ran from the hungry giant dog.

"Ya know…most men need to get married to be annoyed by a woman as much as you annoy me…" Kuon groaned, "...wait…who put the st-" he paused when he heard a faint laugh outside, "...excuse me. I need to go help….then go gremlin hunting…" he muttered, opening the window before jumping out and sliding down the fire escape, "OUMA!"

"...don't worry. This is usually normal," Akane stated, noting the look of surprise on Seiko's face.

"NOT FACE! NOT THE FACE!" Kokichi's voice panicked.

"Hey boy! I got a chew toy here for ya!"

"HAH?!"

"ARF!"

"GAH~!"

"...very….normal," the girls of Team Hope Heart muttered in unison.

"...n-noted…" Seiko whispered.

"What is all that…what…" Kirigiri blinked as he walked over…just as the dog was suddenly pushed to the ground by Kuon, "I…how?"

"Don't worry…I'm just play-fighting with him, I'm not using any actual force!" Kuon called out pinning the giant dog down as he scratched it, "There we go…yeah…good dog…your a good dog…yeah…you listen just perfectly," he cheered as its tail rapidly wagged and thumped the ground causing light tremors.

"Eh heh…this was truly an eventful day," Komaeda chuckled a bit…currently trapped underneath the dog with Kokichi.

"I blame you for this failing…" Kokichi sighed.

"Now stay…stay…good…" Kuon sighed, patting the dogs nose, "Don't worry Fido…we'll get you back to normal and you can return to chewing up furniture and marking your territory in public."

"Arf!"

"Oh and thanks for bringing this one." he dragged Komaeda out, "Keep this one as a new friend!" He grabbed Kokichi and tossed him at the dog…as it caught him in its mouth instinctually, and began gently gnawing on him, as if he were a new toy.

"Ah stop! I'm not a chew t-Ahh~! Not my favorite outfit~!" Kokichi complained as the dog was now licking him, "Damn you, Kuon! Damn you for ruining my fun~!"

"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll wash the smell of kibble out of your hair…eventually." Kuon mused before lifting Komaeda up, "As for you…hmm….what would be an appropriate punishment…?"

"..." the girls looked over at Headmaster Kirigiri.

"...so long as it's nothing too bad or results in too serious of an injury…he can dish out an appropriate punishment," he responded with a sigh, "Today was a long day for me, so I'll let him and Yukizome deal with him properly."

"Wait, really?" Kuon blinked at that, overhearing the headmaster as he looked up, "You sure?"

"You did prevent a bad situation from turning worse…and got rid of the bomb and captured the original owner," Kirigiri stated, "Just be sure to try and lessen the amount of property damage if you end up in a fight."

"It was the one bomb laced with knives…" Kuon blurted, "I mean what bomb? No one got blown up, what…?!" he chuckled, "Catch!" he tossed Komaeda to the dog as it caught him in its mouth, "Hi-Ho Wanchan!" he shouted, jumping on its back and riding off.

"Is that why he's covered…" Kirigiri turned to Kyoko.

"Yes." she nodded.

"Is that why he was so quick to…" he began.

"Indeed." she nodded.

"I wondered why he was the last one invited by…them…" he sighed, "But given his abilities, I can only fear their original intent for him."

"Well…now…he's just another odd one." Kyoko sighed.

"No left you fluffy dumb-dumb! Ah you're too young to know left from right!" Kuon complained as the dog passed by the window.

"...indeed," Kirigiri nodded in agreement with his daughter.

"What are you going to do!?" Ibuki asked as they passed by again.

"Well dogs like to bury their toys in the dirt right?" Kuon asked.

"Oh dear…" Komaeda realized.

"YOU ARE TWISTED!" Kokichi shouted.

"POT MEET KETTLE!" Kazuichi and Hagakure shouted from their hiding spot in one of the trees.

"Something tells me all our new friends are welcomed after our recent changes." Kyoko spoke to her father as the others ran out to join in the nonsense, "I think Kuon himself is a good one to keep around."

"...he does help keep the nonsense in control," Kirigiri admitted.

"Yes," she nodded, "A lot of nonsense has been prevented thanks to his efforts." she looked at Kuon as he gently wrestled the dog down to let the others scratch and pet it.

"Indeed," her father nodded, "It would be a shame if he were to be expelled…but…that was when the Steering Committee was in control. Plus it would be a shame to let someone with such untapped talent go to waste."

"...so you'll be letting him stay then?" Kyoko asked.

SZ: Well…this was a bit of an enjoyable chapter…and we gave Seiko a better outcome compared to what happened in the anime.
