Chapter 18: The Cr*p Hits the Fan
Maria made it back to the base mere minutes before Damien, and before she could talk to Casper and Logan, he had called an emergency meeting. Damien's news shocked everyone except Maria. Amestrian soldiers were in Egmuridcu and, quite probably, Yoxeqa. At the news, Maria and Casper made eye contact across the table, and when she mouthed, 'We need to meet,' Casper's eyes widened, and he inclined his head slightly in response. Then, much to Maria's chagrin, someone mentioned that she had been to Yoxeqa earlier that day. All eyes fell on her.
Maria cursed silently, "Yes, I went to Yoxeqa. I cannot be sure if the military is there yet or not. A few individuals looked like they might be military, but I can't be sure. I was trying to be inconspicuous and stop by the town for a quick look around. I would say that we need to proceed with caution on that front."
Maria paused before she continued, "That being said, maybe I should go and scout the area between here and Yoxeqa tonight. I can take Logan with me," she glanced at Logan, who sat next to Casper, "and I could look for any potential military scouts. Since I've been to Yoxeqa today, I would recognize anyone I saw in town."
Damien gave Maria a long steady look and then nodded. "Sounds like a plan, Maria."
All the while, Casper maintained a neutral face and bumped Logan's knee under the table to stop him from drawing attention. The young man was fidgeting and glancing between Casper and Maria, something Damien was sure to take note of.
Maria's response meant much more to them than the rest of the rebels. To the rest, her vague answer would sound like a precaution with a solution to a potential issue. Given the real reason she went in the first place, Casper smiled inwardly. He hoped for good news. He also hoped her answer would divert any suspicions Damien might have about the military in Yoxeqa, or at the very least, divert his attention by trusting them to take care of it.
After the meeting, Damien excused himself and was soon outside the door to the small cell. All of his plans had been turned sideways since the two alchemists came to their base. He had no intention of showing his doubts to the rest of the rebels. At first, Damien thought he would be able to use them as a shield and had maintained that plan with the Drachma soldiers. Yet, after their escape and the onslaught of soldiers in the area, he was not sure it was worth it. Even more so, Mustang made him angry. Emotions he loathed and mocked in others boiled under his skin every time he saw the man. Damien wasn't sleeping as memories of the disappointment of his mother and father, and fear of his sister plagued him. Damien's hand rested on the doorknob, and then, taking a deep breath, he pushed open the door.
When Damien entered, Mustang stood quickly, but a dizzy spell had him collapsing. One knee hit the floor, and the shock had Mustang biting back a groan. Even if the rebel's doctor had treated his knees after the rebel's abuse, falling on one of them apparently exacerbated the injury.
Despite the pain, Mustang shifted, placing himself between Damien and Edward, who had jerked forward on seeing Damien but flinched when Mustang fell.
Mustang grimaced. Crap, even if we've had more food recently, I shouldn't stand that quickly.
Edward's pride flared in irritation when he registered Mustang's move, but suddenly he was reminded of being pulled away from an unconscious Mustang, and the resounding shot of a gun echoed in his head. Even if he learned later that it was a blank, the memory quelled the spike of pride. When Damien smirked, darkness crept around the corners of Edward's eyes as memories of his drug-induced hallucinations reared their heads.
Edward wanted to curse; the mere presence of this man was now enough to make him shake? A cold sweat steeled over him. After all, the last time he had seen Damien, the man had been shoving him back in the room with a very much alive Mustang. Not to mention he was still partially drugged at the time.
Damien stared down at the two, "you should know that there are soldiers in Egmuridcu. If there are any in Yoxeqa, we'll soon discover them."
Mustang tried to keep his face neutral, and Edward gaped slightly, causing Mustang to wince and Damien's smirk to widen.
"Don't think that will help you, kid."
"Hey, who are…."
Mustang quickly reached over to grip Edward's ankle, which was the most reachable piece of Edward and squeezed.
Edward's head whipped toward Mustang, and Damien's smirk only widened, "Yes, you shouldn't antagonize your captor when you're restrained and hungry, I assume."
Edward winced.
"We'll take care of them, just like before, and if need be, you," he said, looking at Edward, "will be the one to help us get them to back off."
Both Mustang and Edward felt the room grow colder, and Edward shivered.
Damien merely turned and walked from the room.
Once he was gone, Mustang shifted so he could lean against the wall once more. Edward glanced at Mustang and bit his lip. Mustang's eyes were closed, and he was pinching the bridge of his nose.
"We'll think of something if our new friends' extraction plan doesn't happen in time."
Edward only nodded at Mustang's words as silence settled over the room.
Maria, Casper, and Logan met in Casper's room once more. They were more than aware that Damien was visiting Mustang and Edward, but they could not go and cause suspicion.
"One night can't be enough to throw the whole plan off, right?" Logan asked, looking between Maria and Casper.
"We can't interfere with Damien tonight. If he… harms them… I'll go in and remind him we need them in good condition so they can be used against the military – while I don't want them hurt, we're getting them out tomorrow. We have to assume Damien is suspicious. So, the next time he goes to sleep, we act." Casper tried to reassure Logan and then turned to Maria, "What happened in Yoxeqa? Damien is even more agitated now that the soldiers are closing in. We need a plan."
Maria smiled, "And we have one."
Her grin widened at Casper and Logan's looks of surprise.
"I really like that, Hawkeye. She's quite shrewd, and we have a plan that might just work to get the two alchemists out and help save those more sympathetic toward not betraying the country."
Maria quickly explained how she found Mustang's subordinates and their conversation. Logan briefly protested his part, especially when it came to leaving Casper and Maria to theirs, but Casper quickly told Logan that he and Maria would take care of themselves, so he should take care of himself.
Once Maria finished her story, Logan, still surly about his part, turned to Maria, "So that's why you suggested that you and I go out to scout the area?"
"Yes, and now that we're sure Damien knows about the soldiers in Egmuridcu, and because someone had to mention that I went to Yoxeqa," Maria muttered the last part and continued determinedly, "it will be even more important that we meet with her to tell her we're helping the alchemists escape early tomorrow and make any adjustments we might need to the plan."
Logan nodded, and Casper sighed, nodding with a small weary smile.
"I think this might just work." He said with a sigh, "So, you two should get ready for your scouting duty. Given the circumstances, it will be a long night and an even longer day tomorrow, especially since we'll need to extract them early while Damien is still asleep."
Casper looked to Maria, "Do you think Hawkeye will agree?"
"I told them we wanted to extract them tomorrow or the day after. I think she'll be worried due to the plan being pushed to the early morning rather than the evening, but I think she'll also agree after telling her Damien is aware of the soldiers in Egmuridcu. He'll only be more on guard going forward, and waiting any longer will give him more time to prepare countermeasures to save them, which will make extracting them, even for us, more difficult."
Casper nodded, rubbing his temple, "Planning is why I asked Damien to join us, and he's done the job well." Casper huffed derisively, "Now it's backfiring."
The room fell silent, then Maria stood, looking at Logan; she motioned for the young man to follow her. They left, and Casper continued to think. Eventually, he stood. Leaving the room, Casper meandered the halls, casually making sure Damien was, in fact, in his room. Once done, he slipped into the kitchen. Maria and Logan would be in a few hours, and while initially, the plan was for Logan to take the key when he went to get them, a subtle doubt kept nagging at Casper. What if Damien gets up earlier than expected? What if he comes up with a plan tonight and decides to take security measures early tomorrow?
Casper huffed because it was very much like Damien to wait to inform others moments before a plan was to be enacted, giving explicit instructions and only telling each person their part of the plan. It worked, and according to Damien, it meant if one part failed, the other parts would not necessarily be exposed. He'd done it before, particularly when it dealt with capturing the two alchemists. Yet, compared to his other plans, he always seemed to act even more quickly when it came to those two.
Hawkeye took a deep breath as she plunged into the forest. She had made a hastily thought-out excuse for going on patrol and was granted permission with pitying eyes. While not on the ground, General Armstrong was apparently overseeing the entire movement, or she had usurped it with terrifying authority since she was the queen of the north, even if Yoxeqa was not Briggs.
Everyone knew Team Mustang was anxious to find their boss and youngest member. But it irked Hawkeye a bit that they took it with pity. The General had been on a call with the Colonel in charge and had quickly granted her permission. Hawkeye was displeased but grateful as she would use anything she could to help her ensure Mustang and Edward's safety from the rebels and the military if need be.
As she traveled south, she kept her eyes open for the field and a place to stay out of sight. While she was on patrol in her assigned area, and they had spread out these areas, there was still quite a bit of overlap given that not only had two state alchemists disappeared, but an entire recon group had been wiped out by Drachma soldiers. The entire operation was moving one careful step at a time.
When Hawkeye found the field, she walked its perimeter and found a tree to sit in, above eye level, where she could see the field and even further south.
And so, she waited.
Only half an hour later, two people came to the edge of the field from the opposite side. Hawkeye looked down her scope first, ensuring that Maria was one of the two individuals. Then she skimmed the rest of the treeline before jumping to the grass below.
Meanwhile, Maria and Logan stood by the edge of the clearing, peering into the darkness, and it was Maria who first saw the head of blond hair descending from the tree. While it initially shocked her, she was also impressed.
In seconds Hawkeye had approached them, and they moved into a tighter knot of trees to avoid being seen.
"How are things on your end? Are Mustang and Elric still okay?" Hawkeye was quick to start the conversation.
Maria hesitated momentarily, "I was unable to visit them because almost as soon as I returned, so did Damien. Unfortunately, he found two of your soldiers near Egmuridcu and eavesdropped on them. He knows the military is here and hopes to use Mustang and Edward as shields."
Hawkeye grimaced as Maria continued, "So, we would like to proceed with the plan tomorrow morning. The earlier, the better. Do you think most of our plan can remain intact?"
Hawkeye considered the possibilities for a moment. "I will still need to return to base with the story of meeting Logan." Hawkeye looked at Logan.
Logan nodded, "Yes, I can maintain the story that I wasn't happy about the group being a rebellion, and…," Logan looked nervously between the two women and began to ramble. "I know that the story was for you to have "convinced me" to be an informant since I already wanted to leave the group, and if I were new, then I would not have as much knowledge about the base, but I could still have at least some knowledge, especially if I were given a tour recently?"
Logan hesitated, "I think I should give you at least a rudimentary drawing of the base now, as a show of faith, but with the promise of more information. We could make it that I was running away, and you convinced me that just running away wasn't the right choice, that I should seek to do something to stop them, and I agreed to help you rescue the prisoners?"
Hawkeye shook her head slowly, "It is a good idea to have you draw a map, even if rudimentary, but I would never send someone I believed to be a novice…." Logan started to protest, but Hawkeye held her hand up to silence him. She stressed her next few words, "I would never send someone I believed to be a novice, especially one who was trying to run away, back to the enemy base to complete a delicate operation. The story is that you are new to the group. You would not have access or the knowledge, let alone the experience, to help prisoners escape."
Hawkeye continued, "We should stick to the story that you went back for more information, to grab it quickly, and leave again early in the morning before most people were awake. Then, you can show up with Mustang and Elric, much to everyone's surprise. So, you should grab something. I'm assuming you have that ready?"
Hawkeye turned to Maria with a questioning look.
Maria grimaced, "I didn't think of that. I'll grab some of the documents from the meeting room when we return and get them to Logan."
Hawkeye took a deep breath, nodded, then turned back to Logan, "The military will expect the information. So, be sure to bring it, even if you can't help Mustang and Edward."
Logan and Maria's eyes widened, but Hawkeye continued, "The information will help the military, and while I would rather Mustang and Edward be safely out of the other rebels' hands as quickly as possible, think of bringing the information as the bare basics of the plan. The information can help the military save them if it comes to that."
Hawkeye continued, "I cannot guarantee the military will wait for you to return. They very well may begin to mobilize as a precaution in case you defect back or – if something goes wrong. If you ran away once, you might run again."
Logan made a face, and Hawkeye almost laughed, "The military is not so trusting."
"Neither are the rebels," Maria muttered.
Logan's lip twitched, "Only after Damien…."
"Back to the topic at hand," Hawkeye was all business again, "The most important part is for you, Logan, to maintain that you were running away, met me, and after talking to me, gave me the hand-drawn map, returned and grabbed documents on the interior of the building. Then, in the morning, you were so worried no one would not believe you, you brought Mustang and Elric too. I can't very well tell them that Mustang gave you a message. As, in all likelihood, a new recruit would not have met the prisoners."
Logan nodded, and Hawkeye turned to Maria, "And you, after you get the documents to Logan, what will you do?"
Maria's eyes narrowed, "I'll be working with Casper to back up Logan's escape with Mustang and Edward. We'll also try to convince a few people to leave due to Damien's recklessness with Drachma. I know a few people already who would listen without necessarily giving a warning if told to leave quietly, but…."
"But there are no guarantees they won't set off an alarm."
Maria shook her head sadly at Hawkeye's words, "No, there are none."
"Be prepared for the scenario where the military raids before you're ready," Hawkeye warned.
Hawkeye pursed her lips and then looked at Logan once more, "I suspect that the military leaders will be upset and may think me foolish for letting you go back. So, if anything happens to me, you'll see Havoc instead. He's tall with short spiky blond hair, blue-eyed, and almost always has a cigarette in his mouth. He looks lazy, too. He won't have the same posture as another military personnel."
Logan nodded, but then his eyes widened for a second, "what if we also said that while I was leaving, I overheard the rebels talking about finding the soldiers in Egmuridcu? Since we told you about that anyway tonight, that might also help with the story about me really being willing to help. Will that help convince the military leaders? It could explain why I went north. I wanted to avoid the patrols between Egmuridcu and the base since they're more concentrated now."
Hawkeye straightened and considered it momentarily, "Do the rebels know about the military presence in Yoxeqa?"
"They suspect it…." Maria informed.
Hawkeye nodded grimly, but her eyes shone, "It will help. Between the map of the base and the information that the rebels know about the military in Egmuridcu, it may help. It is still not ideal. The brass will still think I should have brought you in because you're still a risk for letting the rebels know about the military in Yoxeqa…."
"Could you just say that we… the rebels suspect it, but I still went north to avoid the patrols to the south."
Hawkeye just smiled grimly, "I'm still most likely going to be reprimanded, but most of the military personnel know I am here to save Mustang and Elric first. You're going to have to assume that the military will want to move the moment they see the documents you bring, especially if you have Mustang and Elric in tow." Hawkeye breathed deeply, "What do you know about the patrols? Did they double?"
Maria shook her head, "they sent out a few more people but not quite double. The patrols are concentrated near the compound, but we now have a few scouts closer to Egmuridcu with radios to confirm if they see any movement."
Hawkeye nodded, then smiled, "I can use that. You said they had a meeting? Would a new recruit have been at that meeting?"
Maria and Logan nodded, realization dawning on their faces.
Hawkeye continued, "Then, you wouldn't have overheard it, but you would have been in the meeting and known about the soldiers in Egmuridcu and the changes to the patrol routes.
"Right, which means that part of my cover story is closer to the truth…," Logan marveled.
Hawkeye smiled and, producing a small notebook and pen, handed it over to Logan, "I'd say it's safe to assume a runaway rebel wouldn't have pen and paper, but I would. How about that map?"
Logan chuckled and began to draw a rough sketch of the compound, noting the locations of the kitchen, living quarters, and where the prisoners were. "We're all pretty tightly in one location. Even new recruits would know where the prisoners are since they're so close to the general living quarters."
"Makes sense, more people moving about in the area, in general, serves as eyes to watch the door."
At Hawkeye's observation, Maria nodded, "After their initial escape, that was the idea."
Hawkeye jerked, "Wait, initial escape?"
Maria blinked, and she and Logan shared a look.
Maria sighed, "That's right. I was so preoccupied with contacting you to make a plan to help them that I forgot to mention it." Maria's gaze met Hawkeye's, "I mentioned their condition last time, right?"
Hawkeye nodded, grimacing at the memory.
Maria continued, "Well, the injuries…"
"You mentioned drugs too…" Hawkeye interrupted, her voice tight.
Maria winced, "Well, all of that was Damien's response to their attempted escape. They made it out but were caught again. Initially, they were only given water every day or so, but Casper recently convinced Damien that giving them water every day wouldn't be a problem, and we've snuck in more food too. Damien is normally almost emotionless, but he was furious that they slipped out. I think he doesn't like it when things don't go to plan. He reacts badly."
Logan added, "Hardly anything hasn't gone according to his plans, so we don't see it often. I think the only things that haven't gone to plan are those dealing with Mustang and Edward. It makes them a sore spot for Damien," Logan looked at Hawkeye once more, "it's the reason why getting them out as soon as possible is all the more important."
Maria nodded, "especially now that he discovered the soldiers in Egmuridcu."
Hawkeye listened carefully, but her concern about the 'punishment' was her primary concern. Maria, recognizing the pained expression on Hawkeye's face tried to reassure her.
"They've recovered some. I wasn't there, but for the most part, it amounted to fists and… well, Mustang received the most physical injuries." Maria shifted uncomfortably, "They didn't exactly physically harm Edward…."
"That's still not comforting," Hawkeye ground out. "What did they do?"
"The drugs… Damien had some hallucinogens," at Hawkeye's incredulous look, Maria quickly added, "And I know it's not good. It's the very reason why I cannot follow Damien anymore. But look, right now, they're well enough to joke around. The last time I saw them, Edward's first response was to ask me about food. If I had been anyone else, they would have been suspicious of the kid's reaction, like he was expecting someone, but Mustang did his best to cover it."
Hawkeye nodded, "Fine. As for suspicion, I should get on the move again. I'm supposed to be patrolling and must be back shortly."
The three said their goodbyes after Hawkeye reminded them to be careful.
As Logan and Maria left, Hawkeye glanced over her shoulder and gritted her teeth. Damien was back, and he had discovered the soldiers in Egmuridcu. They had a plan, but even the best-laid plans did not survive battle, and considering Damien's apparent state of mind, according to Maria, Hawkeye was growing more concerned about the plan's success.
Hawkeye prayed that the Colonel and General Armstrong would agree with her 'decision' to let the kid return to the base.
They would probably oppose it.
Hawkeye knew that despite the map and information about the rebel's new knowledge, it would still not completely assuage those in command for her negligence in not bringing in Logan. Still, it was the best plan for getting Mustang and Edward out of there and an excuse for Logan when he would show up with Mustang and Edward in a few hours.
As she walked away, worry gnawed at her as her thoughts turned to what Mustang and Edward had experienced already. Learning that they had already attempted to escape once and were recaptured and, in essence, tortured made her blood boil, but she also worried for the young Edward Elric.
He's barely been in the army for one year, and he's only thirteen! Hawkeye bit her lip, and her hand rested unconsciously on the gun at her hip. You'd better be taking good care of him, Mustang!
At the first light of dawn, everything began to move.
The military would not wait, Damien would not wait, Mustang would not wait, and neither Hawkeye nor Logan were ready.
Hours before, once Hawkeye returned to camp, she immediately went to the Colonel's tent and reported her discovery. As suspected, the Colonel was unhappy, and General Armstrong was as cold as ever. Hawkeye carefully laid out her reasoning, giving over the map, telling them what she learned of the rebels' new scouts due to their recent discovery of the soldiers in Egmuridcu, adding that they suspected soldiers in Yoxeqa as well, and then a bit about the conditions of Mustang and Edward. While still reprimanded for not bringing in the young man due to flight risk and the risk that the young man would tell the rebels he met her, Hawkeye argued that since the young man was to meet her in a few hours at best with the new information, they could have just as much time as the rebels to be ready.
Hawkeye was dismissed and told under no circumstances was she to leave her tent until the Colonel and General decided what to do with the new information. Hawkeye left with only a salute. She was well aware that, given the circumstances, not having her guns taken or having an escort was already the best she could hope for. Any sign of resistance could tip things unfavorably for her. So, she complied.
As she walked to her tent, she only prayed that Logan and Maria could successfully help Mustang and Edward escape. At the very least, once they were out, they could make their way toward Yoxeqa and meet up with the military.
Around the same time, Maria and Logan returned to the compound safely and without suspicion. Casper met them at the entrance, where he was sitting with one of the other rebels, a middle-aged woman named Sarah. She had been with them from the start. Of all the rebels, Sarah was the most devoted to their goal but also the most likely to question Damien's methods. Her husband had been killed in one of the skirmishes to the south, and she had strong opinions about all the bloodshed due to the wars the military instigated. While she had not protested taking the prisoners, she had begun to show discontent once they were recaptured and their subsequent treatment.
Casper and Sarah had been chatting while waiting for Maria and Logan to return. Casper proudly but quietly informed Maria and Logan that Sarah was ready to help and that he had given the key to Mustang, just in case anything went wrong between then and their morning escape.
"I just can't shake this feeling that Damien was too calm. But we can't watch their cell, or we'd make someone suspicious, even if not Damien." Casper mused while Logan and Maria took seats across from him and Sarah.
The others agreed. Even with Sarah's input, they could not be exactly sure who would not sabotage their plan. "Too many of our comrades are either intimated Damien or despise the military enough that there's no knowing what they'll do if you inform them. It's bad enough that Drachma is now involved, but while most don't like Drachma, they still want to do something. You'll need to get those boys out before you go off warning anyone."
Casper sighed, "That's the plan."
Sarah was the only person Casper could be sure of, and even then, he had been cautious when starting their conversation. Once the conversation started, however, he received an earful about his recruitment of Damien, "that man was a wild card, and even if he's got a knack for planning, he has no scruples." Once the dam was loose, Sarah had railed. After all, Casper was the one who recruited her, and she trusted him more. Casper was glad when Maria and Logan returned, saving him from another long tirade.
But now, Sarah picked up where she had left off, much to Casper's chagrin. Sarah sniffed indignantly, "Those military people are scum, but Damien has proven himself even worse. I don't even know why you brought him. Sure, he was impressive at first, but everyone he's recruited can't be trusted. If you tell anyone, only tell those you brought on, but not the ones who follow him, like Jimmy. The poor man is practically smitten."
Casper gave Maria and Logan a wry smile when their askance glances caught his gaze. Maria inwardly chuckled, amused that, at the very least, someone else had been able to berate Casper.
"I don't know why you didn't tell me sooner," Sarah huffed.
Casper groaned, "We were keeping a low profile."
Sarah sniffed indignantly again, "And here I was trying to figure out if you were still smitten by Damien. I was going to talk to you tonight anyway, given the most recent meeting, and here you are already planning a rebelling in a rebellion under my nose."
Casper sighed, and Logan repressed laughter. Sarah was not someone to cross, after all. She also tended to mother Logan, much to his displeasure, which is why he avoided her as much as possible.
Maria and Logan left Casper and Sarah soon after. They gave Casper sympathetic looks as Sarah started up another tirade. They were going to grab the documents and prepare to help Mustang and Edward at first light, now only a few hours away.
And so, once first light did come, an order went out in the military camps. They were to gather and raid the compound once everyone was in place. If the young Logan was already moving, they could meet the boy along the way, either inside or outside the compound. They reasoned that the rebels knew they were in Egmuridcu, and if the young new recruit thought they only suspected the military in Yoxeqa, then reasonably, the rebellion's leaders in all probably already knew. The mission took top priority, according to Armstrong, and sentiment would only get in the way.
They had to act before the rebels could bunker down. They could not guarantee the young man would succeed in bringing the information. It was best to be prepared to infiltrate once the information was in hand. On the other hand, if the boy were even a moment late, whether because he was unsuccessful or because he had defected back to the rebels, they would be able to act quickly and before the rebels could further prepare.
On the other side, Damien rose early, worry gnawing at him due to the proximity of the soldiers in Egmuridcu and potentially Yoxeqa. They would need to confirm whether there were, in fact, soldiers in Yoxeqa, but for now, he had to secure the Flame and Fullmetal.
Damien muttered aloud, "What is the best way?"
A smile distorted his face, "The best way is to separate them, and if Edward were harder to reach," Damien's smile grew. "Well, that would upset Mustang and turn him into a stumbling block to the military. After all, would Mustang quietly allow himself to be rescued if Edward were still hostage?"
Damien gloated at the thought of Mustang refusing to leave. The hit from Mustang after they had separated the two alchemists throbbed momentarily.
After all, the plan with Drachma was for Mustang to be their hostage while Edward was to be the rebel's hostage. Retaining Edward and using him against both Mustang and the military was best, especially if the military decided to act. It was better to be prepared before the crisis than after they were already surrounded. After all, Edward was Mustang's weakness, and the boy was too young to use Mustang against him to the same degree when the military was involved.
So, at first light, the military began to move as stealthfully as possible to surround the compound as Hawkeye, worriedly gnawing her lip, led a small contingent to the drop-off location.
At the same time, Damien called for Jimmy and set off toward Edward's cell. Logan and Maria, who were just leaving Maria's room to go to the two alchemists, drew back while watching the two men's backs in dread.
Well, that's it for this one! I've been editing and re-editing this one for a while. I hope it wasn't too boring given all the planning taking place.
There'll be some more action next time around!
