TW: SH and SI attempt ***not for those sensitive to these topics, read only on a good mental health day -CSP***

Bakugo sat on his floor, sobbing. Everyone knew it was him crying, but no one wanted to do anything about it- not because they didn't care, but because they DID care about him and how he'd react was a whole 'nother game. Kirishima asked quietly for everyone to move to the common room down a floor. They obeyed, one, because that was their friend, but, two, because they weren't brave enough to do the knocking.

Eijirio rapped on the door. "Katsuki. What's up, man?"

Silence.

He knocked again. "I'm coming in." He said. Exactly two people in the entire BakuSquad knew Bakugo's dorm code- Eijirio and Denki. #6699 was Katsuki's, #6969 was Kirishima's, and #9966 was Kamianri's, mostly because he somehow STILL didn't know what 69-ing was and didn't see the joke Eijirio started with the codes, but ever since Denki learned, he was VERY excited.

Kirishima sighed and punched in the two six's and the first nine before hesitating. Finally, he punched in the final nine and found Bakugo sitting cross-legged on the floor, a knife in hand, other fist lit in flame, Todoroki-style. He looked up, tear marks on his face and a burn on his neck, sitting with a knife and open flame.

"Jesus." Eijirio breathed, leaving the door and rushing to sit down. He enacted his quirk on his hand as he reached to take it blade-first, but was eventually stopped because his hand went soft and Katsuki's flame wisped away into smoke. Kirishima knew what, or who, Bakugo was looking at: Eraserhead.

The door closed and Eijirio stood and clumsily bowed to his elder in thanks. He backed away and stationed himself by Katsuki's balcony door in case his friend was going to run.

"Give me the knife." Aizawa demanded.

Katsuki raised it to his throat and applied the lightest amount of pressure. He gulped in fear and closed his eyes. He was silent for a moment before he opened his eyes again. Shota didn't move, knowing he was supposed to treat Katsuki as a hostage and surprises don't go well in hostage situations- still- Bakugo was his own captor, too, and that queers things.

Katsuki looked down. "I- I didn't do it?"

"Drop the knife, man. It's not worth it." Eijirio whispered.

Bakugo twisted to looked at his friend. "I'LL DO IT!" He yelled, but Aizawa's scarf seized the explosion-quirked teen's wrists. "I'll DO IT!" He screamed again, trying to fight the capture.

"Enough." Aizawa declared, grabbing the weapon, and flipping it closed. "Now get your ass up." He said, pulling Katsuki to his feet. "Kirishima-"

"Yessir!" Eijirio snapped to attention.

"Bar the backdoor."

Whatever was holding Bakugo together snapped as he tried kicking and biting at the scarf. "Let me die!" He said after suddenly standing still.

Aizawa sent the full length of the scarf out to bind Katsuki and then picked up the teen and brought him to his bed.

"No! Unbind me! Stop!" Bakugo practically begged, which was unlike him. Kirishima felt himself shaking.

"You are excused to your room, Kirishima." Aizawa said. "Now."

Eijirio bowed once more and left after stealing one last look at his friend, eyes wild with madness.

For how scary Aizawa could be, he had to keep calm. He rubbed circles on Bakugo's back and shushed the boy, as the phone dialed.

"I need a miligram, intramuscular. Bring Shuzenji." The instructor told his husband.

Shota noticed slight movements from Bakugo. He looked down. He hadn't noticed but Katsuki was bleeding pretty heavily on his thighs and a slight line marked his throat, followed by a line a finger's-length, of burn blisters.

"Did you cut yourself?!" Aizawa asked, eyes wide. Of all his pupils, he never expected the self-declared-God-amongst-men-Katsuki-Bakugo to self harm.

Present Mic and Recovery Girl pushed in the door. "Live sharp." Mic announced, uncapping the needle. Eraserhead looked at his partner.

"Place it on a flat surface. Help me out here."

"Oi!" Bakugo yelled. "What's she doing here?"

"Healing your injuries."

Katsuki did not like this answer. "No! They show how I hurt." He said.

Aizawa unwrapped Bakugo and practically yawned, catching the right hook that was aimed at him. Then the left. "Stand up. Here. Next to your bed." the instructor said, gentler than a command, but still with authority. He looked at Hizashi. "Check 'im, Mic." Shota sighed, sadly.

"Pardon me." Yamada said, as Recovery Girl prepared the medicines from the first-aide kit.

"What're you gonna do?" Bakugo asked, scared and defensively.

"I'm just checking for any self-injuries." Mic replied. "A little invasive, but necessary it seems."

"Hey, Extra! I have rights!" Katsuki yelled, as his pants were unbuttoned and pulled down to his ankles. His boxers were covered in splotchy blood patches as it was revealed that he had cut X's into his hip bones and twice on each thigh. Yamada lifted the boy's shirt and looked and each arm was pulled out of the sleeves until he was sitting in his boxers.

Recovery Girl sighed. "He's going to need an oral syringe, isn't he?"

"I ain't takin' shit!" Bakugo argued.

Aizawa nodded. "So yes."

They tamed Bakugo with a shot of Ativan to his butt cheek and then pinched his nose and stroked his throat to make him swallow the wound-healer medication. It tasted strangely like flat grape soda. The wounds closed in front of them and they did a sweep of Katsuki's room for all sharps. Before removing pencil sharpeners, pencils, screws from his bed frame (and then leaving just his mattress on the floor), scissors, and the like. They also took the knife. It took two hours in which time he had cleared his head up and changed into briefs and a t-shirt and pajama pants. It was also nearing two in the morning.

Bakugo fell asleep while the team came in to search. When he woke up, All Might was in his regular form.

"You're okay?" Katsuki asked.

"Of course." Toshinori said. "But you're not."

"What happened?" Bakugo asked, followed by "What time is it?"

"You tried to kill yourself. It's almost ten am." He responded. All Might was sitting in Katsuki's desk chair. "You know, Young Bakugo- it would be a waste to kill yourself after everyone went to save you. Your life holds value."

Katsuki looked confused. "I don't want to kill myself. I'm gonna replace YOU!" He said before looking sad.

"That's the spirit- what's wrong?" All Might asked.

"It's nothing." Bakugo said.

"You can always tell me, Katsuki." Toshinori replied in earnest.

Bakugo looked up hearing his first name. "I won't do it again." He said. "I want to be a hero, not dead."

"Good." All Might said. "Let's go get you some food."
