The next morning, Midoriya rubbed the fog out of his eyes. It was six am. He should get up and get a quick run in before Uraraka came looking for him. Maybe just-

"Wait." He gasped, bolting upright. "We didn't- did we- Kacchan?!"

Bakugo was fiddling with his anklet. "Shut up. Don't say it like we fucked or anything."

"I thought it was a dream-" Izuku breathed.

"A nightmare." Katsuki corrected. "And we have a roommate."

Midoriya slipped his legs out from under the blankets and looked out the blinds. Bakugo stood up and put his hand over Izuku's to close the blinds.

"What?" Midoriya asked.

"Unless you're looking at the window to find a way to sneak out- shut it. We have a roommate. He's still asleep." Bakugo said, pointing to send Midoriya back to his bed. The green haired boy sat on his bed, obediently, and waited. Katsuki continued. "I don't know what this anklet does-" He began, voice down low.

The other teen moved and shifted the covers somehow further over his head. Katsuki spoke in a hushed voice. "We need to get these anklets off first."

"They don't come off." Came a familiar voice from the furthest bed.

The newcomers exchanged shocked glances. Midoriya rushed over as their roommate sat up. "Shoto?!"

Todoroki rubbed his eyes. "Yeah- wha- Midoriya!" He was fully awake now.

"THIS is your work-study?!" Katsuki asked, almost offended.

Now Todoroki looked confused. "SO THAT'S what Aizawa Sensei told the class, hm?"

"I guess." Izuku shrugged. "Maybe he'll cover for us, too."

"We're not staying." Bakugo said, crossing his arms. "Todoroki. How do we get out of here?"

Shoto was up, now, at his dresser, pulling out a shirt. He had been sleeping in just boxers. "Hell if I know. Behave? Fake it? Throw a tantrum? Nothing's worked. It's been a week for me and I'm exhausted."

"But the quirk erasure bands-" Midoriya began. "They come off somehow, right?"

Shoto pulled his head through the top of his shirt. "Dunno. I have two for both my quirks."

They grew quiet as footsteps came ever closer.

"Staff. Get up." Todoroki warned.

It was just a man in white scrubs. "Todoroki, you're gonna miss your chance for the med line." He said, before looking at Bakugo and Midoriya. "You two, welcome. I heard that we got two new intakes late last night. You're welcome to go and grab breakfast after vitals. All you have to do is wait in the med bay. You'll see a row of chairs and that's where you can take a seat. Nothing scary- just blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Weigh-ins are every Tuesday, but you'll need a starting weight today for your first day. Feel free to address me however you'd like- first or last name. I'm Nozomu Tanaka."

"Thank you." Midoriya bowed.

"Yeah." Bakugo grumbled.

The three teens got dressed and departed to go find the med bay and Shoto left to go and get his meds. It was so far just a mood stabilizer and an anti-depressant. He didn't intend to stay on them, but they already increased his sentence by a week after learning that he was cheeking the pills. Now they made him lift his tongue and poke through his cheeks. It was obnoxious.

I gotta warn the others not to make my mistakes. He thought. And if I remember correctly, Bakugo is planning to run away.

Shoto tried that, too. It's not that the residential was so horrid that he had to run, he was just a regular ol' flight risk. Todoroki used to run away all the time as a kid. Now he didn't even do it consciously- it was called "dissociating"- where your mind is somewhere else and your body reacts in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn. He chose flight. Every fucking time.

"Midoriya, Izuku?" read a nurse. The teen raised his hand and was gestured over. "Heels against the back of the scale, please." She read his weight. He was down two and a half kilograms from what Aizawa had recorded on their school physical, which was completed only a month ago:

"Suspicions of an eating disorder.
No food wrappers found in dorm,
student reported missing in cafeteria by
staff and peers."

Was written in Aizawa's handwriting on the photocopied form that the female nurse read. She called for Bakugo and allowed him to look at his weight. Izuku knew that they had clocked his eating habits if they allowed seemingly-normal-Katsuki to see his weight, but not him. When all vitals were taken, the boys walked up from their lodge, across the campus through a set of back doors, to a different building called the "Health Lodge".

"That sounds creepy." Bakugo said, hands jammed in his pockets, following Todoroki, but walking faster every time Midoriya got 'too close' in his opinion, forcing the third teen off the sidewalk and to walk on their heels. "Like a front for stealing my kidneys. Who just calls a building the "Health Lodge"?"

"I guess." Shoto shrugged. "There's the Hope Lodge and then there is Healing and Health Lodges, too. They make up the only places that we go to around here. The dining room is in Health, across from our rec room. Art therapy is in Hope, and Group and individual therapy is in Healing."

They made it with the group to Health Lodge and filed in for breakfast. It was decent, which Katsuki wouldn't admit. Izuku felt nervous and didn't eat for a bit. Shoto ate what he was given in silence. They had omurice, which was okay in Bakugo's opinion. However, the chefs always put the kanji characters for self love on them, which Katsuki said was "repulsive." He wiped the offensive ketchup off of his and sat frowning at the fact that the other teens didn't really care.

From there, the adolescent boys walked to the Healing Lodge for "Morning Meeting." Bakugo was NOT excited.

A licensed counselor named Tohru introduced herself to all 6 or so of the boys. She gave them her first name to try and build trust with the boys. Izuku was quick to take his binder and a pen and sit down beside Shoto. They looked up after filling out their daily goal chart to see Katsuki being walked through the door by a staff member. The scene played out in Midoriya's imagination of what must have happened, but finally Bakugo took a seat on the other side of Todoroki, and looked over to see what he was supposed to be doing.

"What the fuck is a goal sheet?!" Katsuki exclaimed, exasperatedly, under his breath. He looked at Midoriya. "What, Deku?" He asked, particularly bitterly.

Izuku shook his head and lowered his voice. "Did you get caught doing something?"

"I went to take a piss." Bakugo responded. "I'm flying low so fuck off and don't blow my cover. I WILL get outta here."

"Gentlemen," Came a voice from behind the teens on the couch. They jumped. "How are our goals coming along?"

They exchanged "Oh shit" faces at eachother and collectively exhaled. Shoto spoke up.

"I'm at an eight for safety and a six for mood. My goal is to write letters to my family today during room time." Todoroki answered, reading the last bit directly off the lines on his page.

"That's great, Shoto." Tohru praised. Todoroki looked genuinely happy to be recognized. Katsuki rolled his eyes.

Back at U.A., Kirishima paced the hallways. He was late for class and had already searched for Bakugo in his room, which was missing some of his clothes and toiletries. Kaminari came up from the stairs.

"No sign of him at breakfast, either." The statically-quirked boy panted as he closed the doorway to the stairs. "And we should scram before Mr. Aizawa-"

"Before Mr. Aizawa, what, GENTLEMEN?" Shota asked, coming out of the elevator. They remained silent outside Katsuki's door. "Hm?" He pushed.

"Nothing." Kirishima replied. "-sir."

"We know we're late." Denki began. "But-"

"No 'buts'." Aizawa frowned. "To my office."

"But-" Eijirio panicked. "Bakugo's missing."

"He is not." Aizawa said. "You may write a statement on why you decided to enter another's room without permission and you may also detail why that plan involved doing so at half past seven, when school begins."

The boys sighed. BUSTED.

"But-" Denki now atttempted.

"Okay, one 'butt'. Sore butts. OFFICE, gentlemen." Aizawa sighed.

The boys sighed in reply and followed to the rear-end's despair...
