A/N: another hot bite...
Shelby comes back
So Grandma never got better, and as her health declined at the hospital I kept losing fights. I was the champion and now I am getting thrashed. My heart just wasn't in it anymore.
Then Grandma died, and I came home with Mom and Dad. I needed a break from all of that. My fame was not going to make me feel any better. After the funeral Tori and I crashed on the couch. "Hey, Shel?" Tori said tearfully. I looked over at her. "She knew we loved her right?"
"Yeah, Tor I think so," I answered.
Tori picked up the pillow Grandma had made and hugged it to herself. "I really miss her."
"Me too," I whispered back and we just sat in the living room remembering all the fun times we'd had with Grandma.
A couple of days later, Tori and I went out to the mall. I was in a sort of disguise, and so was Tori, because she looks exactly like me.
"You need to get yourself a cute girl to be with and get over that one you are so hung up on," I said to my sister.
"Yeah, easy for you to say." She said to me sitting at a table at the food court Then I saw Liz and Jade's oldest sister Fallon at the mall. Tori completely freaked out when she saw them.
"Girl, what is your problem?" I asked my cowering sister.
I don't want Liz to see me. I mean what if it gets back to Jade?"
I laughed. "Come on, be serious. Did Liz even know you existed?" I asked, then reached for my disguise and pulled off my hat and sunglasses. Then I wore my hair like Tori typically did.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Leading by example," I said and I got up and walked over to Liz and Fallon. "Jade?"
Liz stopped and looked at me for a second. "Wrong West…" She said then took a better look at me. "You're that kid that transferred to Hollywood Arts from My old school."
I smiled, "Yeah,"
"My sister hates you." She said with a chuckle.
"Or loves her…" Fallon mumbles to herself looking down at her phone.
I rolled my eyes as Tori does sometimes. "Trust me she lets me know daily."
"She talks about you more than she talks about Beck." Because she is in love with my baby sis. I know it. I mean she came to our house a few days after grams funeral crying to Tori… except it was me. She took Tori's pillow and cried into it utterly ruining it. She was lucky I was pretending to be Tori. I had done it a couple of times when all her friends were over… If Tori was having a depressive episode and wanted to stay in her room because Jade did something to her, I would pretend to be her.
Trina would look at me and narrow her eyes and she would never say anything, just walked away and went to Tori who hurt because of unrequited love. Then, because of me, Tori always seemed to bounce back.
"Uh… is that a good thing?" I asked
"Let's just say, you must live in her imagination…" Liz said and Fallon groaned. "Get it? It's that song you sing."
Behind me, I heard Tori begin to laugh. "I rolled my eyes… Anyway, I guess you shouldn't tell her I said hey…"
"No worries, she would love to hear you mistook me for her." Liz teased, and Fallon snorted behind her phone.
"See ya, kid," Fallon said and took her giggling sister toward a shop. I turned to face mine.
"What was the joke?" I asked her.
"Cause you know that if you live in your imagination, Tomorrow you'll be everybody's fascination" Tori sang, and I smirked.
"Oh, I can see why you liked Liz. She is so corny." I said and sat across from her again.
She smirked and took a sip of her groovy smoothie. "So… what was that supposed to teach me exactly?"
"Fuck if I know," I said flicking a fry at her. She gasped and flung one back at me. I laughed and just went back to eating, I wasn't about to waste my money. "At least we know that Liz knows who you are, and Jade can't stop talking about you."
She sighed and her smile left her. "Whatever… What'd you think of Andre?
"I want that boy's body…" I said and whined a bit knowing that Tori had reached her limit and needed the subject changed. "But he literally doesn't know I exist… as your sibling."
"Too bad you finished school early…" Tori said with a pout. "You could come out and go to regular school with me and Trina."
I shrugged. "Regular school is not it for me, I am thinking I'm gonna take up conditioning again to go back out in the ring."
"What? NO!" Tori said… "I like having you back!"
"I didn't say I was going to leave right away." I attempted to appease her.
"We won't be able to pretend to be each other anymore now," Tori said.
"Why not?" I asked.
"You're going to bulk up." She said.
"So? You could bulk up with me." I said, then she laughed and laughed. I shook my head. "Oh well, when we're eighty and I look forty, don't be mad at me because you look eighty."
She stuck her tongue out at me. And a laugh bubbled up out of me. She is the only person in this world that can do that. I love my twin.
