Tori begs for help
I snuck down a little later after I left Shelby and Andre alone. I watched as my sister talk to this boy she thought was hot, comfortably and confidently. I wanted to be like that. Why couldn't I just walk up to Jade and be like... You're hot go on a date with me?
I sighed and headed back to my room and waited until I heard Shelby's footsteps going toward her bedroom. I followed her in and she was startled when she turned to see me. "What the Fuck Tori!"
"Shelby, can you help me?" I asked
"With?" She asked.
"Jade…" I started. She rolled her eyes. "I don't know how to talk to her, you got further with her in one night than in all of the months I have known her."
"So what do you want me to do?"
"You are going to go the only place I ever really have interactions with her anymore...school."
"What?"
I whined, "Come on! Remember when we used to switch all the time."
"We were kids… and together all the time," Shelby argued.
"You would get to spend most of the day with Andre…" I tried to entice her.
"As his lesbian friend…"
"Still… come on do you want me to die a virgin?" I stated.
She snorted. "You are not a virgin."
"Steven does not count." I pout.
"Okay okay…. It would be nice to go to school," she said… "But what's in it for me?"
"I told you, Andre…" I started. she shook her head. "My allowance?" I added and she looked at me as if I were dumb. She had endorsements. She didn't need my 20 bucks a week. Ugh… "Fine I will do your workouts?" I stated.
"Now we're talking." she said and hopped up on her bed.
I smiled and sat next to her. "Okay, here is what my day looks like…" we spent the next thirty minutes outlining our days to each other and the rules of engagement.
