(A/N) I've received a few questions about how I plan on handling Adam in this story. I have several ideas on how to handle him and a fair heads up, a good number of my ideas is one of the diverting points I have planned. Also, the Volume 3 portion of this story will have several diverting points from the canon. So I wanted to remind you guys of that.
Chapter 38 The Post-Breach

Jin found himself waking up in a location that is filled with a great large space of emptiness. With the clearest sky high above his head. Within the location, silence filled the air. There is no sense of fear or tension. Just nothing but plain silence with no tension behind it. When Jin looked around the area, he saw nothing but a vast emptiness that matches the silence that he is surrounded by. After he looked around for a good deal of time, Jin proceeded to walk forward guided by nothing but his instincts. After he kept walking for a few minutes. Jin came to a sudden stop as if he was supposed to do so. After Jin stopped walking, all of his senses told him to look up. When he did so, he saw an interesting sight.
The sight that Jin saw, is a large figure that greatly resembles a large satellite with large red wings. Jin couldn't describe what he's seeing right now. But the only thing that he knows, is that he is seeing a being of great power. Though Jin is seeing the powerful being, he doesn't feel threatened. The feeling that Jin has is that he is being observed, as if a message is trying to get to him. After a few seconds, Jin could hear a voice in his head. When he looked around, he couldn't find the source of the voice. Yet, he was able to hear the voice as if the person is right next to him. Jin came to the conclusion that the voice holds a great deal of significance and decided to put his attention on listening to the voice.
"The Power of Order, The Azure Grimoire, The Eye of Blue. You have awakened to the Power of Order, one of the three Azures. You must protect the balance and the lives of the world." The voice told Jin in an informative yet soothing tone. After a few seconds, an image of a lone figure appeared in front of Jin. The figure has long white hair and is wearing a faceless white mask. While wielding a long sword that is radiating with power like the figure.
"In time your path will cross with his. He will guide you in the proper direction for you to use your power properly. He can be trusted for your guidance." The voice said before making the figure disappear before showing three other figures.
One of the figures is a hooded individual wearing a yellow cloak with black markings. The face is barely visible, but what is clear is that the individual has sharp yellow eyes. When Jin looked at the individual further. It was as if he's looking at a powerful individual that is composed of nothing but pure evil. An evil that must be destroyed no matter what, who must never be allowed to succeed.
The second individual is a female with pale skin and gray-white hair. Though what made her stand out even further. Are the red lines that appears on her face and her arms. The pale woman is also radiating an aura that is sinister yet is all too similar to the Grimm.
The third individual has the appearance of a young woman. But the young woman in question has an empty look on her face. She has long purple hair and have red eyes. Which makes her stand out even further, is that when Jin looked at her further, its as if he's looking at death itself.
"Despair, destruction, and death you must be wary of these three beings. Be prepared, for they will make their move in due time. You and the others who will fight against these three and their differed ambitions. Will be tested beyond all measure." The voice told Jin while looking at the three figures. After mustering a great deal of his strength, Jin was barely able to muster the words to ask a question.
"Who . . . are . . . . you?" Jin asked the entity. After Jin asked his question, he found himself being enveloped in a bright light that is similar to the power he used during the breach.
(The Medical Room)
After having the strange dream, Jin suddenly opened his eyes. When Jin quickly woke up, his body was briefly enveloped in a pure white light before it dissipated. Jin felt both his aura and his body fully restored. As if the events of the Grimm Breach didn't happen. After he opened his eyes, Jin raised himself up and quickly realized he as in the same room within the Medical Wing of Beacon.
When Jin looked around the room, he saw Jaune and Noel sleeping on different chairs while their holding each other's hands passionately. When he made a motion to move, he felt another presence and when he turned to see who it was, he saw Weiss, resting her head on his bed. With the clear indication that she hasn't left his side. She was accompanied by Celica and who is also close to Jin's bed and asleep as well. Across from Jin's bed, he saw Tsubaki sleeping on the chair as well. When Jin noticed the people who were in the Medical Room with him, he made a small smirk before returning to his stern face. Jin then proceeded to shake Weiss waking her up.
"Weiss." Jin said as he was shaking her while trying to wake her up. After a few seconds, Weiss slowly moved her head before she realized that Jin woke her up.
"JIN!" Weiss said with a burst of energy that woke up everyone in the room. When Weiss quickly realized what she did, she cleared her throat and quickly composed herself.
"Hey buddy, I'm glad to see that your awake. You had some of us worried for a while there." Jaune said in a happy tone
"I told you too many times to stop calling me . . . you know what. Since you stayed here your welcomed to call me that Jaune." Jin said to a smiling Jaune. After he spoke to Jaune, he found himself taking a look at Noel.
"I'm surprised that you're here Noel. What brings you here?" Jin said after giving Noel a quick and focused gaze
"Well, me and Makoto have been visiting you for a while Jin. Like Jaune said, you had a lot of people worried we wanted to your OK. Besides, being here was the only way to make sure nobody cried." Noel said causing Weiss to get defensive
"I didn't cry Noel, I was just very tired because I didn't get any rest. Besides, at least I wasn't saying please wake up for a few minutes every day." Weiss said in a defensive tone while pointing at Jaune
"Um . . . . you can't prove that Weiss. My wonderful and kind girlfriend Noel can back me up right?" Jaune said in a pleading tone to Noel
"I don't remember him saying that stuff Weiss. But he did pace back and forth in the waiting room though." Noel said causing Jaune to have a shocked look on his face causing everyone to laugh
"Come on Noel, you didn't have to tell them that." Jaune said in a surprised tone
"Don't worry Jaune, I'll still love you no matter what." Noel said before she kissed him
"I'm glad to see that your awake Jin. I don't know how I would take it if something ended up happening to you." Tsubaki said in a soft and happy tone to Jin. After she spoke to Jin, she took a quick look at Noel and noticed that her eyes are blue. But this time, Noel's blue eyes, are glowing slightly which has gotten more of Tsubaki's attention
"Noel, is there something wrong with your semblance? Your eyes are blue and they're actually glowing. I don't recall your semblance acting like this before." Tsubaki said bringing attention to Noel's eyes.
"Huh, let me check for a second." Noel said before she looked at a nearby mirror. When she looked at the mirror she saw that her semblance has been activated. but this confused Noel, because she knows that she hasn't activated her semblance and most likely it activated on its own. Which hasn't happened before. To add to the confusion, her blue eyes is glowing a light shade of azure blue. Which is another thing that didn't happen before. After Noel saw this, she was able to return the color of her eyes back to emerald green, but it required a good deal of effort on her part.
"Are you OK Noel?" Jaune asked his girlfriend in a concerned tone
"I'm fine Jaune, thank you for worrying about me. This hasn't happened before, but its probably just a one time thing." Noel told Jaune reassuring the both of them
"The last thing I remember is feeling exhausted. How long was I unconscious for?" Jin asked everyone
"You were unconscious for 8 days Jin. After you destroyed all of the Grimm with that power. You just fell down, as if you had no aura or strength left." Weiss told Jin answering his question
"After you were brought back, you were on the news for a whole week. Almost all the students are talking about how powerful you are and how the Grimm never stood a chance. But there are a lot of people that's wondering what that power was." Noel told Jin giving him more details
"I barely remember using that power. I don't even know what that power is or how I was able to use it." Jin said voicing what he remembers from what happened
"Don't worry about that bud, your safe and sound and that's all that matters." Jaune told Jin
"Yeah, I'm glad as well Jin." Weiss said in a gentle tone
"Well, we should all probably go, we have to let the doctors know that Jin is awake. I doubt your too injured but don't push yourself. I'll still be around if you need me." Celica said before she left out with Tsubaki, Jaune, and Noel.
"Noel!" Jin called out to Noel getting her attention before she left
"Yes Jin." Noel said after Jin called out to her
"Thanks for coming and . . . . I'm sorry." Jin said before muttered something
"Hehehe anytime Jin." Noel said with a smirk before she left with Jaune
"Did he try to apologize to you?" Jaune asked Noel in a low tone
"He did, I told you guys there's good in him. After all he's best friends with my boyfriend which is you Jaune." Noel said to Jaune in a low tone
"Yeah and just you wait Noel. I'll get him refer to us as the blonde duo soon." Jaune said with enthusiasm
"Well knowing him, its best to take it one step at a time." Noel said agreeing with Jaune as they were leaving.
"Thank you Jin." Weiss said to Jin in a grateful tone
"I did what I was supposed to do and that's protecting the people. Actions such as that should not require much praise." Jin told Weiss
"But a lot of things would've been worse if it wasn't for you Jin." Weiss said before she took a deep breath
"Me and my team, along with team BLST and the two Professors spoke with the Headmaster a few days ago. Professor Ozpin did commend is for doing our best and for staying alive in a dangerous mission. But we were also reminded that we failed to stop Roman from what he was planning. No one is blaming others for how things went down. But to be honest, I still feel bad about it. If we were stronger, we could have been able to stop the train and prevent a lot of the destruction." Weiss told Jin in a somber tone
"You regret how things happened, so the question is what are you going to do about it?" Jin told Weiss which slightly caught her by surprise
"What do you mean?" Weiss asked in a curious tone
"There is a consistent connection between guilt and regret Weiss. For example, you feel guilty for the things your father has done with his various business practices. Now your making it your mission to set things right. This is a very similar situation, you feel guilty for not being strong enough to be able to prevent the Grimm breach. So what will you do with your feelings of regret and guilt? Will you learn from this and get stronger to ensure it doesn't happen again? Or will you wallow in self pity and ignore any possible improvements you could make? At the end of the day, the choice is yours Weiss." Jin told Weiss causing her to think for a few seconds before she spoke
"I'll learn from everything that happened Jin. If not for my sake, then for the sake of the ones who suffered. I owe to them to better myself, being a Huntress is the path I chose. So I must do the best I can to live up to that." Weiss said to Jin with a tone that is filled with resolve
"I know your capable of it Weiss, if you allow your failings to blind and consume you. Then you will deny your own capabilities." Jin told Weiss
"Hehehe thank you Jin." Weiss said before she leaned forward and gave him a kiss. Almost immediately after Weiss kissed Jin, a knock came at the door startling Weiss and Jin. When the both of them saw who knocked at the door. They saw that it was General Ironwood who knocked.
"Hello Ms. Schnee and Mr. Kisaragi, I hope I'm not interrupting anything." General Ironwood said to the both of them
"It's fine General." Jin said giving General Ironwood to go further into the room. When the General entered, both Jin and Weiss noticed that he's holding a small box. Judging from the decoration of the box, both Weiss and Jin suspect that there is something significant inside.
"First, I want to say that I'm glad to see that you are still well. I know that being on a medical bed isn't a comforting detail. The fact that your alive, means that your recovery is very much within possibility." General Ironwood told Jin.
"Thank you General." Jin said while making sure not to give a hint or a tell that he knows that General Ironwood is part of an inner circle that knows about the Maidens and the threats that are after them.
"Now for the second reason I'm here. I have seen the footage, and both read and heard of how you singlehandedly saved Vale from the Grimm that breached Central City. Not only did you take action while a Kingdom was in danger. But you displayed a power that saved everyone. After speaking with the council of Vale, and to the Headmaster of Beacon. We've all agreed to award you with this." General Ironwood said before he presented Jin with the highly decorated box. After Jin received the box, he proceeded to open it and both Weiss and Jin was amazed at what they saw.
"This is one of the Kingdom Medals of Honor and Service. It's only given to people who has done an exceptional service for the Kingdom. There is one for Vale, Mistral, Atlus, and Vacuo. It's rumored that only a very small handful of people have earned these medals." Weiss said in an impressed tone causing the General to chuckle
"Your correct Ms. Schnee, it is quite rare for someone to have been able to earn these medals. But to the best of my knowledge, Jin is the youngest person to have been properly awarded the Medal. This is a truly incredible honor Mr. Kisaragi, congratulations." General Ironwood said to Jin in a tone that is filled with approval
"You honor me General, but I merely did what anyone would do in my situation." Jin told General Ironwood in a humble tone
"Your too modest Jin, your skills and feat is something that is worthy of praise. After all, for the past week the media is hailing you as a hero and I fully agree with that notion." General Ironwood aid maintaining his proud tone
"You've earned it Jin." Weiss told Jin reassuring him
"Thank you, General Ironwood." Jin said as he gratefully accepted the medal
"Due to the recent circumstances, as well as your recovery. We can't hold a proper ceremony for us to present you with the Medal. Though I can assure you, a lot of influential people both from Vale and Atlus will know of what you've done for the people. As of now, you have officially earned the title as The Hero of Vale. Who knows, if you get those medals from the other three Kingdoms, then you'll be granted the title Hero of Remnant. Get some rest, I have no doubt that you'll need it." General Ironwood said before he left the Medical Room
"Jin Kisaragi, The Hero of Vale. Saying it out loud feels really natural don't you think. Congratulations on being awarded the medal." Weiss said in a proud tone
"I suppose it does." Jin said while looking at the medal while in deep thought
"Just think, if you do earn the other four medals. Then your title will change to The Hero of Remnant." Weiss said maintaining her earlier tone
"You being given the title of Hero, I never thought I would live to see the day." A voice said which has quickly gotten the attention of both Weiss and Jin. When the both of them saw who spoke. They saw that it was Ragna and were surprised that he came by. While knowing that he hasn't visited Jin in the past.
"Ragna, what are you doing here?" Weiss asked Ragna
"Is it that hard to believe that I want to visit my brother while he's in here? Besides I want to speak to him about a few things, preferably in private." Ragna told Weiss
"Its fine Weiss, this relates to something I told you before you went out on your field mission. Besides even he knows not to try anything while I'm here." Jin told Weiss while having a focused gaze on Ragna
"I understand Jin, I trust you. Congratulations on the medal once again." Weiss said before she left. But before she left the room, she gave Jin another kiss before leaving. After Weiss left, Ragna started to approach his brother and started to speak
"Jin Kisaragi The Hero of Vale is teamed up with Ragna the Bloodedge. That sounds surreal saying it out loud." Ragna said to Jin making an effort to make casual conversation
"All of a sudden, the Blonde Duo that Jaune proposed doesn't sound so bad." Jin said to Ragna causing him to lightly chuckle. After a few tense seconds. Ragna decided to speak once again
"I saw how you used that power to destroy the Grimm when they breached Central City. Though a lot of people have questions about what that power was. It doesn't change the fact that you saved a lot of lives. Though I do have my problems with that General, he's right in that you've earned that medal and title." Ragna told Jin voicing his thoughts on the situation
"Do you think Cinder had something to do with this?" Jin asked Ragna causing him to groan in frustration
"I spoke to Yang about what happened. They caught Roman in the act and there were nobody else at the train. So anything that can be traced to Cinder is likely destroyed. Its also safe to say that Roman isn't talking. Otherwise she would've been arrested by now. So as of now, we still have no absolute proof that she's up to something." Ragna briefly explained to Jin
"Did you try confronting her again?" Jin asked Ragna
"I didn't want to provoke her into going after Celica and Saya since she knows about them. So I didn't confront her again since I didn't want to push my luck. I tried using the breach as an excuse to have Sister Celica and Saya leave, but it didn't work. Also since I want to make sure that they don't panic. The only ones that know about Cinder and the danger our family is in are me and you. Unless you told your girlfriend something." Ragna explained to Jin causing him to pinch the bridge of his nose. At the fact of Ragna figuring out that he's a couple with Weiss
"Before her field mission, I asked her if I should trust you. While I made sure not to give her a lot of specific details. To give you the short answer, she said that I should trust you since she sees that you care about people in your own way." Jin answered Ragna
"I see." Ragna said before he started to lean back on the wall while thinking about the past. Being able to talk with Jin without either of them wanting to fight the other has a nice feeling to it that Ragna doesn't want to admit. With that nice feeling comes with the thoughts of what if. The thoughts of what if their feud never happened. Could they recover from what happened and move on. The problem is that too much time has passed and Ragna wants to bury the hatchet, but do it in a way that will let the both of them vent their own individual frustrations.
"Listen Jin, I know working with me on this wasn't easy. So . . . thanks for helping me with this. I know that we're doing it for Sister Celica and Saya. But . . . . does us wanting to tear each other apart have to continue? I know that our falling out isn't something that can be forgotten easily. But it doesn't matter that it started, what matters is that it needs to end. We see a lot of things differently and handle things in different ways. But do you think that we can be on the same page regarding this?" Ragna told Jin causing the both of them to think for a few minutes. After the minutes have passed, Jin started to speak.
"Once a year starting next year." Jin said quickly getting Ragna's attention
"I know that too much time has passed between us. To a point that mere words won't be enough for us. But we tend to communicate with each other better when we fight each other. So how about this, we fight each other at the end of each year starting next year to see who's stronger. Then by the time we graduate, we'll know for certain who is stronger between the two of us knowing we gave it everything we have. It will give us a good way for us to vent our frustration and prove ourselves to each other." Jin explained to Ragna his idea
"Hmm an annual end of year fight to see who's stronger and to vent until our graduation. Alright, I can get behind that Jin. But don't become a crybaby when you lose, because remember that this is your idea." Ragna told Jin in a confident tone
"I have better grades than you brother. So being able to beat you in a fight will only confirm how superior I am to you." Jin said in a confident tone
"Hmph, I see that your delusional, so I'll let you get some more rest so you can come back to reality." Ragna said before he left. Before Ragna left the Medical room, he looked at Jin on the corner of his eye and made a hidden smirk.
"Get well soon, little bro." Ragna muttered in low tone that's unheard by anyone before he left.
(The Warehouse)
Cinder is thinking about a variety of things at the moment. One of the things she's thinking about is the immediate future for her plans. The loss of the Malachite Serpent, along with the Abnormal Grimm isn't what's on her mind. What is on her mind is the mystery of how the students knew where to go to find Roman. Not to mention another mystery, Roman was clearly told to not bring in the Grimm until a certain point in time. Roman's actions have been done prematurely, which bothers Cinder greatly. Though the loss of the Malachite Serpent can be recovered as long as they have Azrael. The fact that they lost an important asset bothers her greatly.
A third thing that bothers her is the newfound power that Jin has displayed. Cinder is fully aware of the power that she's seeking which is the other half of the Maiden power. Though what caught her off guard is the power that she saw Jin use which is unheard of. The questions keeps piling on Cinder's mind and their not letting up anytime soon. Though as she was deep in thought, she also questioned what kind of power Ragna has. Since every time she sees him fight. He proved to be a very powerful individual who is a threat to her plans. Since he knows that she's up to something but is unable to do anything without proof. The saving graces that she has is the threat against Ragna's family Celica and Saya, along with the fact that Ragna doesn't know anything. Though to make the mystery of Ragna deepen, is that the only thing she knows is that he has a power that is similar to Nu's.
"Honey I'm home!" Hazama yelled in a mocking tone quickly getting Cinder's attention.
"What's with that look Cinder. I thought you would be happy to see me after a long day at work. I have to go back in a few hours, so a happy look would come a long way." Hazama said maintaining his mocking tone
"There are a few things I need you to clear up Hazama. Because of a few interesting events that happened a few days ago." Cinder said in a frustrated tone
"Really, then speak your mind and tell me what troubles you." Hazama said gleefully knowing what Cinder will say
"Those kids knew to go to Mountain Glenn. Roman is many things and careful is one of them. Only the White Fang members, Azrael, Roman, and those he trusts knew about that location. So how is it that those kids knew to go there?" Cinder told Hazama in a demanding tone
"Oh there's a good explanation for that. But I think that you have a lot more to say." Hazama told Cinder before she continued speaking
"Roman was able to cause the Grimm breach, but he did it early and was able to draw in the Malachite Serpent. What bothers me about that detail is that he did it prematurely. As if he knew to cause it the moment those kids arrived. Not to mention that Azrael was nowhere to be seen. We both know that if Azrael was around, he could have dealt with those kids and the Huntsman and Huntress easily. Yet he was mysteriously absent. One last thing Jin Kisaragi had a power that I have never seen or heard of before. You need to explain all of that Hazama." Cinder told him in a demanding tone before Hazama continued
"Oh, all of that can be explained really easily Cinder. You see, I leaked the information about Mountain Glenn and told Roman to cause the Grimm breach the second someone comes to stop him. As for Azreal, I told him to stay away until further notice and not to interfere." Hazama told Cinder in a casual tone causing her to summon her dagger and point it at Hazama's neck
"Do you have ANY idea what your little stunt could have cost us?" Cinder said in a furious tone. After Cinder spoke, she saw both Mercury and Emerald approach Hazama from behind
"Give us one reason why we shouldn't kill you for this you snake." Mercury said ready to attack in a frustrated tone
"You betrayed us, we should kill you where you stand." Emerald said while pointing her weapons at Hazama causing him to chuckle
"Oh calm down, you guys act as if I did it on a whim. Even though it doesn't look like it I thought it through. I can tell you guys, or you can get beaten to a pulp." Hazama said calmly before he spoke to explain himself
"Ever since the start of the new term, I had a nagging feeling that those kids would try something. Ever since they interfered with the White Fang at the Docks. So for a while I decided to play it by ear. But when those kids decided to investigate the White Fang as well as other activities. I realized that I had to do something, since it was clear that none of you were going to do anything. Ultimately, my plan was to take advantage of their initiative so that things will be easier for us in the long run. For starter, I leaked the information so that I could get those kids on a trail that was quite honestly expendable. Then I told Roman to get the train ready for both the Grimm and the Malachite Serpent. Then after that, I made sure that Azrael left to make sure that the White Fang were able to get way so that no members were lost." Hazama explained to Cinder in a calm tone
"What were you hoping to accomplish by doing this Hazama?" Cinder asked while still on guard
"Like I said Cinder, I wanted to take advantage of their initiative. Two things had to happen to ensure that the plan goes well. The first thing is to make sure that either General Ironwood or Ozpin had a victory. So that the Vytal Festival will have no reason to be canceled. The second was to make sure Roman was taken alive. After you were caught in the CCT Tower, I knew that the chances for Roman to be taken alive would increase. So once that Crime Boss was captured, Ironwood would keep him locked up in the Atlesian Airship. Which is great for us because he is behind enemy lines. Losing the Malachite Serpent is a pain, but it was able to weaken both of Vale and Atlus forces. So when we make our move, things will be easier. Not to mention the cherry on top, Ozpin has been discredited and the Council doesn't trust him. As for Ironwood, he's allowed the victory to get to his head and will likely let down his guard to certain threats. So when we take action, I have no doubt that he'll be making careless decisions in the aftermath. Which will be VERY beneficial for us for when we have to deal with Atlus in the long run. So overall I'd say that this gambit was a success." Hazama exp further to Cinder, causing Emerald and Mercury to look at each other briefly before bringing their attention back to Hazama.
"Did you take into account of something going wrong Hazama?" Cinder questioned Hazama while maintaining her focused gaze
"That's the best part about this Cinder. Almost nothing could go wrong with this plan. No matter how you look at it, the enemy forces would get weakened. We would have a good understanding of the Kingdoms strengths, so we can prepare countermeasures. Not to mention that whoever gets credit for this would get careless. If you want an example, look at the army that Ironwood brought. He honestly thought that the army would intimidate us. All he did was challenge us, so it would be appropriate to meet that challenge and put him in his place. As I keep telling you Cinder, arrogance and carelessness comes at a high cost. So if anything, you should be thanking me Cinder. Or do you want me to prove to you that I'm someone you don't want to cross?" Hazama told Cinder finishing his explanation of his plan and why he leaked the information.
After Cinder heard the full details, she hated to admit it but Hazama has made several good points. Though Cinder and her team were unable to do anything regarding the students that kept interfering with the White Fang and her activities. She was able to see how Hazama was able to plan for lot of things properly and created a very favorable outcome. By expertly placing information and giving orders that made the preferred outcome a reality. An outcome that will benefit things both in the short-term and the long-term. The problem is that Hazama planned and did all of this behind her back which makes him untrustworthy. Tempting as it is for Cinder to use this as a chance to discredit him for their mutual boss. She can't argue against the results, but this will still need to be reported to her when they update her on the current situation.
"One last thing, a student name Jin Kisaragi used a power that I've never seen before. Do you know what it is?" Cinder asked Hazama
"Oh I know full well what it is. Trust me when I tell you Cinder, but the appearance of that power came as a surprise to me as well. What you should know is the power that Jin used makes him very dangerous to both Nu and Ragna. But I would prefer to give the rest of details to our mutual boss. But don't worry, I'm bringing in Relius to help us out with things." Hazama said to Cinder causing Mercury to wince at the name
"The same guy who turned one his kids into a weapon? Making the other kid hate him with a passion?" Mercury said causing Emerald to elbow him
"The very same, he'll stick around to make sure that other surprises doesn't screw things up for us." Hazama told the small group of three causing all three of them to back away from him

"Oh I'm pretty confident in my chances Cinder. Before I forget, I'll be leaving in a few days on official business on Ironwood. But I'll be able to come by for the main event. So until further notice, you can refer to me by my true self." Hazama said with more of a sinister tone
"Then I'm looking forward to seeing you work, Terumi." Cinder said to Terumi
"What will we do about Jin if we end up fighting him? That power he used is still powerful and we don't know how to deal with it." Emerald said voicing her concerns about the situation
"I agree, the news keeps calling him the Hero of Vale. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up seeing merchandise about him soon." Mercury commented
"Then you leave Jin Kisaragi to me." A voice said causing everyone to look at the source. When everyone saw the person who spoke. It is a young male Faunus with red hair and black clothes. Though what made him stand out further is that his face is covered with a mask that is similar to the Grimm.
"I was wondering where you were Adam." Terumi said in a slightly curious tone
"Jin Kisaragi is granted the title of the Hero of Vale. So that makes him the hero to the Humans. When our revolution begins, I will fight the hero to the Humans and kill him. After I kill Jin, I wonder how quickly Humanity will fall into despair." Adam said with passion in his voice
"That's what I like to hear, in that case your welcomed to try." Terumi said before he started to leave. Before he went too far though, he turned and looked at Cinder
"After we give our mutual boss an update, I want to tell you an idea I have for your plan. I'll give you the full details later, but let's just say that it'll involve turning the entire world against Ragna." Terumi said with a sadistic smile that Cinder soon shared in
(The Farm in Mistral)
Oscar Pine is a humble Farmhand who enjoys his work with a humble attitude. Though he knows that the work of a Farmhand can be quite exhausting at times and also doesn't provide the finances of a Schnee. He understands its importance and does the best he can to ensure that he performs his tasks with the work quality that he can be proud of. However, there is a part of him that has a strong desire for more. He wants to experience the world and even though he takes pride in his work as a Farmhand. Oscar has a strong desire to be something more than a Farmhand. As Oscar was doing his chores which is part of his daily routine. He noticed his aunt at a distance. But what made her stand out a bit is that she is with a little girl that Oscar could barely see.
"Oscar!" Oscar's Aunt called out causing the young man to get to his aunt and the little girl. When Oscar got closer, he saw that the young woman has long purple hair. What made her stand out further is that she has sharp red hair that compliments her purple hair. Yet when Oscar looks at her further, he can't help but feel that there is an emptiness within her that Oscar can't describe.
"I came across this young woman while I was out running errands. She was passed out and she doesn't remember anything, not even her name. Since the nearest town and Village is too far from here. I decided that we'll take her in until she gets back her memories or someone who knows her comes along." Oscar's Aunt told Oscar
"Um . . . what if neither of those things happen?" Oscar asks in a concerned tone
"Then we'll deal with those situations should either of them occur. Who knows what will happen, so let's hope for the besty." Oscar's Aunt told Oscar before she spoke to the young girl
"Do you want to come inside?" Oscar's Aunt ask the young girl
"I . . . . want to look around here for a bit if that's OK?" The young woman asked
"Its fine, me and Oscar like this scenery as well so we tend to get mesmerized in it from time to time. Just don't go too far out there. Me or Oscar will come and get you a little later on." Oscar's Aunt said before her and Oscar went back inside the farm. After looking around and making sure that she was alone. A tall purple cloaked figure appeared besides the young woman. After the purple cloaked figure appeared, the young woman's red eyes started to glow and she started to speak.
"Terumi, I've found the one who will be next in line to be Ozpin's reincarnation." The Young Woman said out loud in a low tone
"Wow that happened much sooner than I anticipated. I thought you would be able to make contact in a few more months. Though I can't be surprised considering your capabilities." Terumi said over the mental link
"How are things proceeding on your end Terumi?" The young Woman asked
"There were a few bumps along the way. But for the most part, everything is proceeding as we hoped. I had to deal with a few meddling kids and a very arrogant woman. But that's another can of worms I'd rather not open. How is Phantom doing over there? I was afraid there might be some interference from Rachel when I had her get Azrael away from that cat. But so far I haven't heard a peep from that damn Vampire." Terumi told the Young Woman
"Phantom is fine with me, so far there have been no problems on my end. She will fulfill her role by assisting me until further notice." The Young Woman told Terumi
"Well that's good to hear. Is there anything specifically you need either me or Relius to do? The main event will go down soon and I would very much like to get as much taken care of as possible." Terumi asked the Young Woman
"The both of you are to continue your role until further notice Terumi. Do not deviate from this task, or else things will become quite difficult in the future. Even if your in a situation that involves the three Azures, and both halves of the Grimm Aura." The Young Woman instructed Terumi
"Well that makes things simple for my job. What do you want me to do about Salem?" Terumi asked
"As I said earlier, continue your role involving her. I predict that she will prove to be quite useful to us." The young Woman told Terumi
"Hehehehe I understand perfectly, Izanami." Terumi said before the communication ended and Izanami's red eyes stopped glowing and Phantom disappeared.

A fair heads up, the character that appeared around the end of this chapter. They WILL NOT show up again until this story gets to the volume 4 portion of RWBY at least. I have a good reason for having them appear in this chapter. But that is a MAJOR SPOILER so I have to keep it a secret.
For Ragna and Jin's talk in this chapter, don't expect the brothers to be best buddies with each other anytime soon. Since it has been established that the both of them see a lot of things in different ways. While also have opposing ways to solve a problem. At the core of it though, the brothers ultimately want the same thing. They just choose to go about it in VERY different ways. The talk between them, as well as Jin's idea was a way to help them mend things. It won't fix everything, but it's a huge step for the both of them.
Also in case anyone gets concerned, the brothers will still have many reasons to fight each other so that will not end anytime soon. But there will be less hatred between the two and a bit more of a high-spirited rivalry. I want to give a hint for things to come for the brothers, but I don't want to spoil things.
This chapter concludes the Volume two portion of this story. I know I said that the next chapter is going to be a side chapter. But for all intents and purposes, that chapter will be the start of the Volume 3 portion of this story. Once its uploaded, I'll update the description that this story is on Volume 3. Thank you to everyone for following this story and sticking by it. I really appreciate it and I fully intend to give the story the best quality I can deliver.
One more thing, Terumi will have a crucial role in Volume 3, so he will appear in the Volume 3 portion of the story. Also to prevent a potential misunderstanding, Neo and Azrael are still alive.
