(A/N) In the previous chapter, Ragna's ability to be able to copy the semblance of certain people who's semblance is compatible with his aura. Further in the story, Ragna will learn the limitations and requirements of his copy ability. I chose to announce it in the previous chapters author's notes to prevent some confusion and clear things up in case there are some questions. Another requirement that I forgot to mention, is that Ragna has to know what the person's semblance is and have a general understanding of it.

Chapter 45 Much to learn

(Team RWBY's Dorm Room)

After watching the tournament match with Blake, Yang was given a scroll message from Ruby that Qrow is in Vale. Even though she was told through the scroll messages that her uncle left to see Ozpin. She was assured that Qrow will see them soon and catch up to them. Though the scroll messages that caught a lot more of her attention is the messages involving Ragna. The reason is that Yang was told through the messages and later confirmed by Weiss that Ragna ended up fighting Weiss's older sister Winter. Who is a Military Specialist of Atlus. Though what made things a bit more interesting is that during the fight, Ragna was able to copy the Winter's glyph.

Yang knew what Ragna's semblance can initially do. She was pleasantly surprised when she learned that Ragna can copy the semblance of other people. Though there's a part of her that wants to spar with Ragna as soon as possible to help him master his newfound ability. Another part of her wants to hold off on it until after the tournament. Because they are all still competing against each other and even though she enjoys a challenge, she also wants a fair fight. Though right now, Yang has her mind on much more important matters. Watching her little sister get her butt kicked by Qrow in the game soaring ninja.

"YOU CAN'T BEAT ME!" Ruby proudly declared to her uncle

"KEEP DREAMING PIPSQUEEK!" Qrow declared while playing the game. As uncle and niece were fully focused into the match. Ruby made a few clever moves in the game. But Qrow's skills and the depletion of Ruby's in game character's life bar, made it clear who the winner is.

"Oh man, first the Remnant Board Game and now this." Ruby said in a slightly disheartened tone before Yang pushed her over to take on Qrow in the game Soaring Ninja

"My turn sis." Yang said in an excited tone

"Looks like someone's eager to get their butt kicked. Who am I to turn down a chance to keep up my winning streak?" Qrow said in a confident tone before the game started

"Can you finish your story uncle Qrow, please?" Ruby said in an excited and pleading tone

"Oh yeah, now where was I?" Qrow asked his nieces

"You were telling us that something amazing happened while you were out on a mission." Yang told Qrow while playing the game

"That's right, now while I was out on a dangerous mission. I found myself fighting some Grimm that's stronger than most other Grimm. Now for a pro like myself, those Abnormal Grimm weren't a problem. But what happened next is that I came across a warrior. Now he wasn't an official Huntsman, but he was strong and has a lot of years of experience behind him. I fought this warrior for a few minutes with every bit of skill I had. Even though I was able to land a few hits in, the guy was able to win our little sparring match." Qrow said to the impressed sisters

"Wow, it's not often I hear about you losing a fight Uncle Qrow." Ruby said in an impressed tone

"So do you know who it was that you fought?" Yang asked in a curious tone

"Well I doubt either of you will believe me. But the warrior I fought is a literal living legend. The name of the person I fought a few months ago is Hakumen himself." Qrow told his nieces causing them to give him a look that is a mix of amazement, wonder, and complete surprise

"YOU ACTUALLY FOUGHT AGAINST THE LEGENDARY HAKUMEN HIMSELF?!" Ruby asked in a loud and excited tone

"Yep, I doubt a lot of people will believe me. So I figured that I should keep that little fact to myself. But since you two are my nieces and are big fans of the Six Heroes. I decided to make an exception for you two." Qrow briefly explained to the two girls

"Wow, that is so cool Uncle Qrow. In fact a few months ago, Hakumen saved our friend from some powerful Grimm." Ruby told Qrow causing the veteran Huntsman to have a brief look of intrigue on his face

"Hmm, interesting." Qrow responded

"You know, we're on our way to becoming legendary warriors too. So it'll only be a matter of time before we catch up to you." Yang said in a confident tone to her uncle

"Yeah, we're pretty much pros." Ruby said to Qrow matching Yang's confidence

"Oh really, and what makes you two say that?" Qrow asked in a curious tone to the sisters

"Have you watched the news? While you were gone, we saved Vale from the Grimm." Yang said to Qrow

"Funny, because from everything I heard and read. It was The Hero of Vale Jin Kisaragi who saved Vale from the Grimm attack after you guys almost managed to stop a train. But they don't give out medals for almost." Qrow said after beating Yang in the video game

"They do and its called silver." Ruby responded to Qrow

"Well we helped Roman Torchwick get arrested and is locked up in General Ironwood's ship. Ever since then, crime has been down. That's a win and practically a bounty mission." Yang told Qrow

"Looks like you have a lot to learn if you thought that was a win. You and your friends are acting like Huntresses but your not thinking like one. You gotta be realistic for a second, did any of you think that a handful of students will be enough to stop all crime in the kingdom?" Qrow asked Ruby and Yang

"Well when you put it that way, I kinda thought we could." Ruby responded

"Besides if you pay closer attention, then you'll notice that crime didn't go down it just stopped completely. From a certain perspective, that is not a good sign, especially since there's a good chance that someone else is calling the shots." Qrow said causing the sisters to share a surprised look

"What do you mean Uncle Qrow?" Ruby asked in a curious tone

"When your out there on the field, you have to be prepared to see the bigger picture and see things in different ways. So think about it for a second, didn't this seem a bit too convenient, Roman gets arrested, all crime came to a stop, and no mention of the White Fang. Don't you feel like that certain people aren't accounted for during this attack?" Qrow asked causing Ruby to have a sudden thoughtful look

"You know, now that I think about it. We did fight a large guy a while ago. If I remember correctly, I think his name is Azrael. I think he might have been working with Torchwick." Ruby said causing Qrow to have a surprised look on his face

"You two actually fought against the Mad Dog Azrael?" Qrow asked in a surprised tone

"Yeah, in fact he mentioned you Qrow. But it was more of a merciless beatdown than a fight. If it wasn't for Ragna, Jin, and Ragna's master, then we would have been dead." Yang told Qrow while keeping Jubei's identity a secret

"The fact that you guys encountered him and walked away is what I'd call a win. I'm not surprised that he mentioned me. You see, I was part of the operation that took him down a few years ago. Me, Ironwood, a lot of Huntsmen, Huntresses, and a lot of soldiers fought against him for hours. That SOB was tough to take down, and from what I was told we was lucky enough that he was holding back. Unfortunately, a lot of people never made it home. If someone was able to reel in someone like the Mad Dog, then their planning something big. That's what Ironwood can't get through that thick skull of his." Qrow told the sisters causing them to share a surprised look.

"Do you really know the General?" Ruby asked in a curious tone

"Yeah, I know everyone to some extent. Don't forget, your talking to a member of one of the most famous team to ever be formed at Beacon. Team STRQ made itself known in a short amount of time and I've got some stories that I wouldn't call age appropriate." Qrow said before he showed the sisters the picture of him and his team while they were at Beacon. When Qrow noticed that Yang was taking a focused look at the picture. He quickly realized the situation with Yang and her mother and took the picture away.

"But, neither of you are not old enough for those stories. So I'll tell you two when your older. Preferably when being around you two won't cramp my style." Qrow said to the sisters in a confident tone

"Forget you." Yang quickly said after she threw a pillow at Qrow. Before Qrow made a movement to leave, he had a quick thought and decided to speak to the girls further

"You know, speaking of being infamous, mind telling me about that kid Ragna?" Qrow asked causing Ruby and Yang to look at him in slight confusion

"Sure uncle Qrow, but why would you want to know about him?" Ruby asked in a curious tone

"Well, when I saw him fight that Military Specialist. I saw that he reminds me a lot of myself. Honestly I'm surprised that he was able to hold his own against her. From the way he fights, it looks like he had some training. So I have to admit that I am a bit curious about him." Qrow briefly explained to Ruby and Yang

"Well I supposed that its fine, after all we do owe you for saving Ragna from Sister Celica when he got in trouble with her." Ruby told Qrow

"But from what sis told me, it was kinda funny and makes me wish that I saw it myself. A cool fight, then some quality entertainment." Yang said before she remembered what Ruby told her

(Moments Earlier)

"Ragna you cannot keep making a scene like this. Your grades are already bad enough but causing fights in public places like this. Are you trying to make your future harder?" Sister Celica said in a scolding tone

"But sister Celica, she . . . ." Ragna said before Celica cut him off

"No buts Ragna, I care a lot about your future and I refuse to see you make things harder for yourself." Celica told Ragna

"Wait Sister Celica, I have a good reason for . . . ." Ragna started saying before Qorw stepped in

"Listen miss, I should explain myself because I'm the reason he confronted that specialist in the first place." Qrow said to Celica

"Might I ask who you are?" Celica asked in a curious tone

"My name is Qrow Branwen and I'm a Huntsman. You see I was venting my frustration about Atlas to that Military Specialist and the kid was agreeing with me. After that she attacked and Ragna had no choice but to defend himself." Qrow told Celica

"Then why were you arguing with the Military Specialist?" Celica asked Qrow

"Basically I was telling her that Atlus says they want to protect people but aren't doing a very good job. Then the kid agreed with me and she decided to attack him. Now I admit that he did provoke her a bit, but she was the adult and needed to act mature. Now the kid, er Ragna may seem rough around the edges. But he would never attack kids, would he?" Qrow asked after explaining the situation while leaving out certain details

"Hmm, is this true Ragna?" Celica asked Ragna

"Of course, I told them that they weren't doing a good job, said how weak she was and she attacked me. Now I admit that I might have egged her on, but she has that condescending attitude and there was no way I was going to let her get away with it." Ragna explained to Celica

"Well, I see why you would speak up. But you can't go around being ready to fight people Ragna. You can get in a lot of trouble and I don't want that for you. Your precious to me and I don't like the thought of you being in trouble in any way." Celica told Ragna in a kind tone

"Don't worry miss, he reminds me of myself when I was his age. So if you want, I could be a sort of a mentor to him. You know, show him the ropes that can help him stay out of trouble." Qrow told Celica in a confident tone

"Well, he was trained by Jubei, but there's nothing wrong with having another mentor. Especially One who can keep him out of trouble and teach him the things Jubei couldn't." Celica quickly thought to herself before she spoke to Qrow

"Alright I trust you, but I don't want you to get in trouble for his behalf either. By the way you don't have to call me miss, you can just call me Celica. Now I have to get going, I still want to explore the food stalls and enjoy the Festival." Sister Celica told Qrow before she left with Saya

"Thanks for the save, I really don't like it when she scolds me." Ragna whispered to Qrow a little bit after Celica left

"No problem kid, besides that Schnee had it coming with that attitude of hers. You held your own pretty against her." Qrow whispered back

"Thanks, I have to go and catch up Celica and Saya. Celica wants to enjoy the festival and I have to make sure she doesn't get lost with my little sister. Her sense of direction is . . . . pretty bad." Ragna said before he quickly left to catch up to Celica and Saya

(Team RWBY's Dorm Room)

"Helping Ragna out isn't any trouble or problem for me. If anything, it just gives me the chance to work my natural charm." Qrow said with a smirk

"Well there are a few things we can tell you about Ragna other than the fact that he really cares about Sister Celica and his little sister Saya. For starters he's had some training, from people as strong as you uncle Qrow." Ruby told her uncle

"I figured that much, the way he fights and his skills. The person who trained him has to be pretty strong and experienced. Do any of you know who it was that trained him?" Qrow asked in a curious tone causing Ruby and Yang to look at each other and nod in silent agreement

"It was Jubei that trained Ragna uncle Qrow, the same as one of the Six Legendary Heroes. I know that Ragna doesn't want us to tell anyone. But since we've always been able to trust you. There should be no harm. Just don't tell Ragna, he doesn't know you like we do." Ruby quickly said to Qrow

"Don't worry kiddo, your secret is safe with me. But that explain the skill and confidence." Qrow told Ruby

"Another thing, when we were fighting Azrael, Ragna activated his swords special function and was able to fight on par with Azrael. Even though it was for a few minutes, Ragna was strong and incredible." Yang told Qrow in an impressed tone

"Hmm, interesting." Qrow muttered to the girls but mostly to himself

"Yeah, but him being able to copy a semblance is something I didn't know he could do. Wait, that mean he can copy our semblance! Oh, what should we do if he copies my semblance? It will be bad, but also so cool. I'm so conflicted, I don't know how I feel about this." Ruby said in a slightly dramatic tone

"Hopefully he won't copy my semblance." Qrow thought to himself before he stood up ready to leave

"Well I think I've had enough of you two cramping my style. So its just about time I got going. But don't think for a second that you two are done once you graduate. Because one week out there is more than four years here. You two will go far. As long as you keep moving forward." Qrow told the sisters before he left

(The Courtyard)

After Winter tended to her business with General Ironwood. It wasn't too long until she was able to catch up to her sister Weiss. Several hours have passed and the sisters found themselves enjoying each other's company. During this time, Weiss found herself telling Winter everything that she experienced since coming to Beacon. The reason that Weiss would do so is that Winter has always been a confidant for Weiss for a long time. After Winter was able to process the information she was amazed at everything Weiss experienced, and is also fully aware of the fact that Weiss still has a lot to learn.

"Well, it certainly is nice to see that you have grown so much since coming to Beacon. Your grades and your capabilities are in top form and you've learned a few things that Atlus hasn't taught you." Winter said praising Weiss

"Thank you Winter, I'm proud to say that my skills with my semblance has come a long way since we last saw each other." Weiss told Winter in a proud tone

"You have done well since coming to Beacon. Though to be honest, it was quite amusing seeing father's face the day you left for Beacon." Winter said before her and Weiss started laughing at the memory

"Not to mention that you have started going out with Jin. I still remember the day he refused father's offer. Though it is unfortunate that Father established ties with the Kisaragi's through other means. The fact that Jin has done well for himself on his own strengths and not of his family ties. Shows that he's not the type of person who will use you for your name or money." Winter told Weiss

"Yeah, not to mention that he's earned the title as the Hero of Vale. I know its uncertain, but I believe that in time, he'll be known as the Hero of Remnant." Weiss said in a proud tone

"Then your going to have to train and get stronger so you won't end up holding him back. I admit, he has come a long way since I've seen him a few years ago. I still remember when we had that sparring match. After I beat him, I told him the points he needs to improve on and he listened. If we were to fight each other now, I have no doubt that it would be close, maybe even a draw. I saw the video of him destroying those Abnormal Grimm. Does he know anything about that power?" Winter asked in a curious tone

"No he doesn't, a lot of people keep asking him about that power and he doesn't have the answer." Weiss told Winter

"I'm certain that the answers will be revealed in time. I . . . . strongly believe that your skills and capabilities will allow you to go exceptionally far. I'm proud of what you were able to accomplish so far sister. It's a good thing that you and your friends only fought the prototypes. Otherwise you and your friends may not have faired so well." Winter told Weiss giving her some praise

"Thank you Winter, but I never thought I would deal with someone like that man." Weiss told Winter while remembering the encounter with Azrael

"It's nothing short of a miracle that you and your friends survived an encounter with the Mad Dog Azrael." Winter commented to Weiss

"Have you fought him before Winter?" Weiss asked in a curious tone

"No but I have read the records about him and his infamy. Azrael was once a soldier of Atlus. But over time he started to kill anyone he ever came across. Whether they were friend or foe, it doesn't matter to him. As long as there was a chance for him to fight someone. Not helping matters is the level of natural power he has that matches his sadism. The reports makes it clear that it took a lot of people and manpower just for him to be imprisoned." Winter explained to her sister

"I see, its scary to think about how strong he really is." Weiss commented to Winter

"Yet its amusing to think about how one of the Six Heroes was able to save all of you. There is a part of me that wanted it to be Hakumen to have saved you all. But he is fulfilling his own mission." Winter told Weiss

"Did you and the General really fight him?" Weiss asked

"Yes we did Weiss, for reasons that I can't get into, we ended up having to fight him. He was able to beat us . . . . pretty badly. But we survived the encounter and we recovered which delayed our arrival here. Though it resulted in a loss, I'm honestly glad to have fought the legendary warrior. He could have easily killed us but he chose to do so. While not holding a grudge against us for only doing our duties." Winter told Weiss explaining her encounter with Hakumen

"that's impressive." Weiss responded

"Which reminds me, how far much progress have you made with your summoning?" Winter asked Weiss

"It's the one thing I'm having trouble with. I keep practicing but I can't make any significant progress." Weiss told Winter in a frustrated tone

"Don't get too discouraged, our semblance is hereditary and only us Schnee's are able to use the glyphs. A semblance is like a muscle, the more we use it and practice with it, the stronger it gets. With the current times you need to get stronger. Especially since someone like that thug is still here." Winter briefly explained to Weiss

"You mean Ragna, listen Winter I know that he comes off as rough. But there is a lot more to him. I admit that when I first came to Beacon, I was not on good terms with him and that's putting it lightly. But during the fight against Azrael, he was willing to save me and my friends lives. So he isn't all that bad. Not to mention that he's Jin's brother, which means that if me and Jin get married. I'll have to find a way to put up with Ragna in the long-run." Weiss explained to Winter

"Let's table the discussion of marriage and in-laws for now Weiss. That thug is an anomality. I admit that he's more skilled than I originally anticipated. But I didn't expect that he would be able to copy my semblance. If he can do that, then there is a good chance that there is much more to his power. Which means that you need to get stronger if end up fighting him in the tournament." Winter said as she was summoning a Grimm with her glyph

"But while we're on the topic of that thug, there's something I need you to explain to me. Could you describe his class performance for me?" Winter asked

"Well, he's good in a fight, but his grades are . . . pretty bad, from what Yang tells me. Why do you ask?" Weiss asked in a curious tone

"Because having someone like Ragna be a Huntsman is a problem." Winter told Weiss causing her to look at her older sister with slight confusion

"Wha . . . what do you mean?" Weiss asked Winter in a curious tone

"When it comes to being a Huntsman, they represent two sides of the world. One side of the world is order, structure, and authority. While the other side is freedom, passion, and emotion. From the few minutes I've seen of Ragna in person, and from what you've told me of him from your letters. Ragna is the type of person who will what he believes is the right thing to do. But he will give no thought or concern to the consequences of his actions. Not to mention that he's the kind of person who will go against the law and authority if it means doing what he must do. To put it plainly, he represents the chaotic aspects of being a Huntsman. I believe that if Ragna becomes a Huntsman, he will do a lot more harm than good." Winter explained to Weiss her reasons about Ragna being a Huntsman is a problem

"So what is a Huntsman supposed to represent Winter?' Weiss asked

"The ideal Huntsman is supposed to represent the balance of the spirit of the law and its letter. A Huntsman and Huntress duties is to protect the people. While also maintaining and protecting the order in which the kingdoms are built upon." Winter briefly explained to Winter before she continued

"To put it plainly Weiss, Ragna doesn't belong in an Huntsman Acaademy. Him being here is a rare mix of a miracle and a mistake. You have the making to be an ideal Huntress Weiss. Which makes it imperative that you get stronger with your glyphs. But don't worry, I will help you get stronger. For as long as I'm able do so." Winter told Weiss before she dissolved her summoned Grimm

(Team RWBY's Dorm Room)

"You are not beating me this time Yang Xiao-Long!" Ruby declared to Yang

"PLEASE! Your low tier character and severely lacking skills pales in comparison to my awesomeness. Your defeat will be a most humiliating one Ruby." Yang said as she was playing soaring ninja with Yang. After a few more seconds, both combatants ended up knocking each other out. Making the gaming match between the two a draw. After the draw was declared, the sisters started to laugh at the situation for a few seconds before Yang started to speak

"We could beat each other in this game. But uncle Qrow still has top reigns over us. Since Blake and Weiss isn't playing for us to beat them. We have to get better so our dear uncle will know the taste of bitter defeat." Yang stated to Ruby in a competitive tone

"By the way, since you saw some more matches, how did they go? Did you see more cool weapons? Or were you lucky enough to see another aura weapon in action?" Ruby asked with a good deal of enthusiasm

"No Aura Weapon's sis, but I do know who will go on to the doubles round. We might be fighting against team KKMT they won their fight." Yang told Ruby quickly getting her excited

"YAY, Kagura and his team made it. Do you know which team they fought?" Ruby asked in a curious tone

"If I'm remembering right, they fought team NDGO from Shade Academy. As for the match itself, it was a cool fight and also funny." Yang said briefly telling Ruby about the match

"Aw man, now I wish that I was able to see the match. Especially if I can see more of Kagura using his large sword." Ruby said in a slightly disappointed tone

"Don't worry sis, I'm sure that we'll be fighting them in the tournament soon. When we do take them on, it'll only be a matter of time before we win the whole thing." Yang said in a confident tone while the sisters continued playing the game

"You know, we should do something fun with everyone while we still have the chance. But I don't know what to suggest to the others." Ruby said in a slightly sad tone

"I would like to do that too sis, but I think that we have to avoid casual fun time for a while with the other teams. Since the matches ended for the day, everyone else is probably getting ready for the matches for tomorrow. Seeing as though the doubles and singles rounds will happen tomorrow. Everyone will want to be at there A game." Yang briefly explained to Ruby

"I supposed your right sis, oh well at least we can have some fun together until everything is settled. But don't you and Weiss have to rest so you two can be in tip top shape for your matches tomorrow?" Ruby asked Yang

"Don't worry Ruby, I plan on getting plenty of rest after I kick your butt in this game again." Yang said in a confident tone before the sisters got back to playing the game

(The Vale Landing Zone)

For several hours, Winter has been helping Weiss train and get stronger with her skills and her glyphs. After a good deal of time has passed, it was time for Winter to leave before either of the sisters realized it. Currently the sisters are in the landing zone saying their final words since it is time for them to part ways.

"Weiss, I'm glad to see that you've made a life for yourself here at Beacon. I know that it doesn't look like it, but I'm very proud of you." Winter said as her and Weiss were hugging each other.

"Thank you Winter, I'll make you proud." Weiss said as the two were hugging each other before Winter started to leave

"Farewell Weiss and remember what we talked about." Winter said before she boarded the ship and left as Weiss was seeing her off.

After Winter left, Weiss received another call on her scroll and after noticing that its from her father. She proceeded to ignore it and tried to practice her summoning glyphs once again. As she was doing it, she was having some trouble and after a few seconds. The glyph dissipated and Weiss ended up having to take a quick breath before she left. Weiss planned to continue practicing so she'll be able to master summoning and make her sister proud of her.

As Weiss was leaving, the landing zone the statement that Winter made about Ragna still lingered on her mind. The statement is that Ragna doesn't belong in Beacon. There is a part of Weiss that wanted to defend Ragna. Due to the fact that the statement made Weiss remember how she was when she initially started Beacon. A reminder that she would have made a similar statement about the Faunus due to her being mistrustful of them. Not to mention that despite the two not seeing eye to eye, Ragna was willing to save her and everyone else's life from Azrael during the investigation.

Though on the other hand, Winter has made several good points about Ragna. For as long as Weiss knew Ragna. She sees that he embodies the aggressive aspects of being a Huntsman but not the spirit and law aspects of one. Weiss's experiences with her team showed her that not everything is as black and white as she once thought. Though for someone like Ragna, she sees a lot of the things that Winter has mentioned. The aggression, disregard for authority and the rules. Not to mention that she suspects that Ragna is hiding something. After having those thoughts, Weiss quickly shook them off and proceeded to focus on the tournament as well as a new goal. Which is getting stronger so she can be a better warrior.

(The Amity Colosseum)

"Welcome everyone to the second day of the Vytal Tournament. The matches this year is starting to be one that nobody will be forgetting anytime soon." Professor Port said to a cheering crowd

"That's right, this day of the tournament will serve as the start of the doubles round and after a brief break. Will be the start of the singles round which will serve as the final round of the tournament and the winner will be made. Today will be the conclusion of this year's Vytal Tournament. So be ready everyone, because anything can happen in these matches." Dr. Oobleck quickly said getting the crowd excited for the upcoming match as the randomizer started, after a few seconds the randomizer stopped at Kagura and Hibiki.

"The first combatants of the doubles round will be a crowd favorite and popular with the ladies Kagura. Alongside his teammate who is diligent and focused, Hibiki." Professor Port said to a cheering crowd. After a few more seconds, the randomizer stopped and two faces appears. One of the faces is a dark-skinned male with one revealing eye. The man is Venom, who some of the students recognized. The other man who's face showed up alongside Venom's. The man is blonde and is wearing what appears to be a blindfold.

"It appears that their opponents will be a pair of students from Shade Academy. Venom and his team leader Zato." Professor Port announced

"Hey I remember Venom, he was the one who beat me and Sun in professor Goodwitch's class." Neptune said as he saw the randomizer

"I'm more curious about that Zato guy. I remember Venom saying that Zato is in a completely different league." Sun said as he saw the match

"Ooh, I wonder what kind of cool what that blonde guy will have. That Venom guy is already cool with his pool stick." Ruby said in an excited tone while watching the match

"It appears that despite your attitude, you're a very skilled opponent Kagura." Venom said to Kagura as the arena was being selected

"Thanks for the compliment, but I get the feeling that there's more meaning to your words." Kagura said as he was grabbing his sword

"Your correct, it means that we can't afford to take you or your teammate lightly." Venom said as he was grabbing his stick

"A good mindset to have in your fights." Hibiki said as he was grabbing his dual swords

"Share the same sentiment against us, or else this fight will be over quickly and less rewarding." Zato said in a calm tone, after a brief moment, the arena is a mixed terrain of rocks and trees

"Hibiki, your going to have to use all of your natural skills in this fight. I can't shake the feeling that Zato has a trick up his sleeves. Especially when you see what I've noticed." Kagura said to Hibiki in a low tone

"I see it too Kagura, Zato doesn't have a shadow. Unlike his teammate who has a shadow. That could mean anything but we can't take any chances against him." Hibiki said agreeing with Kagura

"You may both BEGIN." Professor Port announced before the buzzer went off.

Before either Kagura or Hibiki noticed anything, Zato ran towards Kagura at a blinding speed and threw a single punch. Being able to react by a thin second, Kagura was able to block the punch with his massive sword. Unfortunately, the punch was still strong enough to launch Kagura back a far distance to the rocky terrain of the arena. After Kagura was launched, Zato jumped back into the forest with Hibiki following him.

"You made a mistake leading me here Zato. The forest provides me the chance to fully utilize my natural strengths." Hibiki said before he used his semblance to merge with the shadows in the forest

"The shadows may be your natural strengths. But I am the master of the shadows." Zato said as he was on guard for Hibiki

(A/N)

There might be some questions about why someone like Ragna would stand out to Winter. The reason is because it's been stated that Winter is one of General Ironwood best Huntresses. So it wouldn't be often that Winter would be able to fight someone who would be able to keep up with her in a fight. It would make sense for Qrow to be able to hold his own against her. But a student who is in his first year would stand out greatly to Winter. Especially if it's a student that Weiss told Winter about in thorough details.

The reason Winter made the statement to Weiss that Ragna doesn't belong in a Huntsman Academy is because from everything Weiss told her about Ragna from the letters. He is not the kind of Huntsman that people should look up to. Though Weiss and Ragna are on slightly better terms, it doesn't change the fact that Weiss does see some of Winter's points about Ragna.

There's no special reason but I am curious. Do you guys agree with Winter's statement about Ragna in this chapter?

As for why Ruby and Yang told Qrow that Jubei trained Ragna. It's been confirmed in the RWBY series that Ruby and Yang trusts Qrow greatly. So it would be possible for them to tell Qrow that interesting detail. As long as Ragna doesn't find out, because Ragna doesn't know Qrow like Ruby and Yang do. But Yang knows not to tell Qrow everything about Ragna.

So read and review

Thank you
