(A/N) A quick heads up, there's going to be some intense moments in this chapter that will not be for everyone. Also, this chapter will be Adam's debut into the story that is not a brief appearance with a line or two. You guys are welcomed to tell me how I handled him in this chapter. Because I plan to handle Adam differently than in canon.
Chapter 52 The Struggle PT 2
(The grounds of Beacon)
It didn't take long for the Grimm to overwhelm the school and attack the students. If The students were able to avoid the savagery that is the Grimm. Then they have to deal with the brutality of the White Fang. Making the situation more chaotic, is that the mechanical Atlus soldiers decided to shoot at the students. The very same people that they were supposed to assist and protect. While all of this was going on, a shroud of darkness and roses enveloped a small area and two people emerged from it. The two people are both Jin and Valkenhayn. After they emerged, the both of them had saw in good detail the chaotic destruction that was caused by those that manipulated the circumstances.
"Damn it Cinder, I have to get to the Headmaster." Jin said as he drew his sword after he did so, he turned to look at the elderly warrior
"What will you be doing?" Jin asked before he slashed a small Beowolf Grimm
"I must return to my initial duties Mr. Kisaragi. As I've said before, my master is handling this conflict from a different position and its my proud duty to assist her in that regard." Valkenhayn said before he made his way to the portal. Before he entered, he turned to Jin
"Listen Jin, Celica was able to heal your body but not your aura. As you proceed, you will not be at full strength. So it's imperative that you be careful from this point on." Valkenhayn warned Jin before he went through the black shroud and disappeared
After Valkenhayn disappeared, several Atlus soldier mechs started to point their assault rifles at Jin. Once they fired, Jin proceeded to deflect the bullets with his Yukianesa and was able to freeze the bullets. Once he was done, Jin used his semblance to send the frozen bullets at the soldiers and destroyed the soldiers. But quickly found himself catching the attention of several Grimm.
When the Grimm saw Jin, they each held a ravenous look in their eyes and proceeded to charge towards him. Before the Grimm got too close, Jin was able to skillfully avoid their attacks and managed to freeze the Grimm with the slashes of his sword. After the Grimm were frozen, Jin destroyed the frozen Grimm with his semblance and used the broken chunks of ice to destroy the nearby Grimm.
"I have to get to the school before Cinder does. It's clear that with everyone distracted, Cinder will go for the Fall Maiden and maintain her secrecy. I need to hurry before its too late." Jin thought before he proceeded to hurry to the school. As Jin was running, he used his scroll to check his aura and sees that it is at 65 percent.
"Fighting Ragna like that exhausted me more than I thought. I have to be more careful going forward." Jin thought before he picked up speed.
(The skies of Vale)
As Ruby was riding her weapons locker through the skies. Her mind is filled with various thoughts on the events that is still fresh in her memory. Among the moments were the most relevant to Ruby. Is the entire situation involving Ragna and everything that was said by the broadcaster. Ruby has always considered Ragna a good person despite his rough exterior. But now, Ruby isn't entirely sure what to make of him. For starters, Ruby witnessed firsthand that Ragna has a terrifying hidden power that almost killed her and her friends. Though taking a turn for the worst, she did witness Ragna kill Penny. An act that is still lingering on her young mind.
Part of Ruby wants to blame the voice of the broadcast for manipulating the events that transpired. Though she can't deny the anger she has towards Ragna regarding everything that's transpired. Not too long ago, Ragna has displayed a power that has put her and everyone else in danger. Not only that, he also killed not only her friend Penny. But also several people in the audience who had no chance of survival. Ruby knows that she needs to question Ragna on everything that happened. One of those questions is whether or not he knew he had such a dangerous power. If he did, why did he keep such a dangerous secret. But if he didn't, then how dangerous is Ragna to the world.
Though before Ruby could think on things further, she realized that she made it to the airship and had to put those thoughts to the side. Once she was close enough, Ruby umped off of the weapons locker and made it to the hull. The second she did so, several Griffon Grimm landed near Ruby and tried to attack her. Reacting quickly, Ruby was able to skillfully dodge the Griffon's attacks. After she did so, she proceeded to kill the Griffon with a combination of her semblance and scythe attacks. After the Griffon dissipated, she saw a flash of light out of the corner of her eye. When Ruby turned to see who it was, she saw Neo with a scroll in her hand and made a playful wink at her.
"Oh no." Ruby muttered before Neo proceeded to attack her
Reacting quickly, Ruby managed to block a lot of Neo's attacks with her scythe. After blocking for a few seconds, Ruby jumped back away from Neo and fired at her. With little effort, Neo was able to block the gunshot with her umbrella and proceeded to resume her attacks against Ruby. For several minutes, the two girls were fighting against each other at an intense speed. With neither side slowing down against the other. After parrying another hit from Neo. Ruby tried to land a direct attack against the agile girl. Only for her to shatter into pieces and for Roman to fire a blast from his cane. Unfortunately for Ruby, she was given a direct hit from Roman's cane blast.
"Well if it isn't little red, we just keep running into each other. You know, I hate to admit it, but I'm actually glad its you I'm dealing with and not big red." Roman said before he fired at Ruby, causing her to avoid the gun blast by leaping to the side.
"I saw the recording and heard the entire broadcast. I did warn you that your failure would come back to haunt you. As for big red, to think he was the Black Beast this entire time. I know I'm an incredible criminal, but even I would have a hard time lying to the world about the infamous beast. So it kind of makes you think about who are the real criminals doesn't it little red?" Roman asked Ruby in a mocking tone causing the young student to get angry before she pleaded with the Crime Boss to stop his plan.
"Roman, we need these ships to fight against the Grimm. Without them, Vale won't stand a chance and the Kingdom will fall." Ruby said trying to plead with the Crime Boss
"That's the plan." Roman said before he fired at Ruby again. After Ruby dodged the blast once again. She found herself parrying several of Neo's relentless attacks. After Ruby blocked a few more of Neo's attacks. She skillfully moved to the side and had gotten out of the way of Roman's blast. Unfortunately, Ruby couldn't move fast enough was given a direct his of Roman's blast and was knocked back as a result.
"I am amazed that you're still fighting for your Kingdom. I admit that its honorable, but a little stupid. The Kingdoms lied to everyone about a threat that almost destroyed the world. The White Fang hate us humans because of how the Faunus were treated. While the Kingdoms stand by and let all these awful injustices go on since it doesn't bother them. It's sad, but it looks like you'll die for nothing." Roman stated before he made a move to fire at Ruby. Only for her to fire Crescent Rose and propel the scythe to knock away Roman's cane. Neo tried to attack Ruby since she was still close. But Ruby was able to narrowly dodge an attack and was able to activate Neo's umbrella. Which forced her to be pushed off the ship by the force of the wind.
"NEO!" Roman yelled in a concerned tone before he aggressively attacked Ruby
"This Kingdom is screwed, everything your doing is . . . ." Roman said before Ruby yelled cutting him off
"SHUT UP ROMAN!" Ruby yelled before she used her scythe to propel herself forward and swung at Roman. The crime boss was able to avoid the initial scythe swing but was hit with the follow up attacks by Ruby.
"I don't care if you shove our mistakes in our face. I don't care if you brag about being able to hurt people. But I will keep fighting and I will NEVER GIVE UP." Ruby yelled before she aggressively fought Roman with her weapon skills and her semblance. After a few seconds, Ruby was able to land several attacks against Roman. Causing the Crime Boss to be staggered and lose his footing for a second. Though after a brief second, Roman regained his composure.
"You have a lot of bravado little red. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter. Because I will do what it takes to sur. . . . ." Roman stated before a Nevermore Grimm ate him. Before the Grimm could attack its next target, Ruby used her semblance to cut the Nevermore legs and brought it down. Not wanting to take any risks, Ruby followed up by cutting off its neck. After the Nevermore neck was cut off, it dissipated.
"Now I have to go and figure out how to land this thing." Ruby said before she dodged to the side after noticing another large nevermore Grimm dive towards her. Ruby avoided the attack, but the Grimm crashed into the ship and caused the airship to dive out of control. Causing Ruby to jump off the ship and make her way to Beacon.
(Beacon grounds)
It didn't take Ragna long to make it to Beacon, thanks to Minerva. Though he would have preferred to be closer to the school itself. Given the large number of Grimm that Minerva had to maneuver around during the flight. Ragna was glad to make it to where he is at all. He also knows that as long as Beacon is within walking distance. Then he would just have to hurry and make it to the school. Since he has a good idea of what Cinder's destination is. He just hopes that he's not too late to stop her.
"Go and help Sister Celica and my sister, I can take care of myself from here." Ragna told Minerva before the metallic doll flew away. After Minerva flew away, Ragna started to make his way to the school.
Before he got too far, he noticed several Atlus mech soldiers point their assault rifles at Ragna. Once he noticed this, Ragna proceeded to charge towards the soldiers and destroyed them before they have the chance to shoot him. After destroying the soldiers, he noticed several Grimm making their way towards him. A good number of them are Ursa while the rest are Boarbatusk Grimm. Before they got close, Ragna proceeded to quickly dispatch the Ursa Grimm that were closest to him.
For the Boarbatusk Grimm, Ragna used his sword to launch one of them into the air. After he did so, Ragna smashed the Grimm to an Ursa and managed to knock it back into some of the Ursa Grimm. Before Ragna could proceed further, he noticed one of the Boarbatusk Grimm charge towards him. Once the Grimm got close, Ragna proceeded to deliver a powerful downward slash at the Grimm and killed it in one move.
"I don't have time for this, RESTRICTION RELEASE!" Ragna yelled releasing his seal and managed to destroy a good number of the Grimm in one move. After the Grimm were destroyed, Ragna proceeded to make his way towards the school before more Grimm decided to show up and stop him.
(The streets of Vale)
Glynda Goodwitch has experienced many things from her years of being a Huntress. Initially, she thought that everything she learned from being part of Ozpin's inner circle could not be trumped. Unfortunately, the previous few hours has shown how wrong she was in the worst way. First, she saw Ragna take the form of a beast and killed as well as injured so many people. Then the broadcast came up and not only managed to bring so many people into a panic that was able to attract the Grimm in large numbers. But the broadcast also said that the world has been lied to about the Black Beast's name.
The stern professor made a mental reminder to question Ozpin about these things. But right now, her and Qrow are dealing with a more immediate threat in the form of Nu. When Nu said the same words Ragna says. Glynda also felt a familiar surge of power and if its similar to Ragna's power in any way. Then both her and Qrow are in for a dangerous foe.
Qrow has spent a few seconds fighting against Nu in close quarters. Qrow's weapon is in its scythe form and he fought against Nu at an intense speed. Unfortunately for Qrow, Nu is exceptionally skilled with her many swords and found herself putting Qrow on the defensive. After a brief moment, Nu was able to kick Qrow away but found herself creating a shield made out of swords to protect herself from Glynda's attacks. After Glynda's energy blasts was blocked, Qrow tried to attack Nu while she was distracted.
Nu was able to notice Qrow out of the corner of her eye and was able to skillfully dodge each of his attacks. After dodging Qrow's attacks, Nu jumped back and made space between the both of them. After she did so, Nu summoned a circle under Qrow that was radiating energy. Qrow tried to move, but found his movements severely slowed down. When Glynda saw this, she was slightly surprised at this ability but didn't wast time thinking about it. Before Nu could attack, Glynda used her semblance to fire several energy blasts at her. Though just like before, Nu was able to block the energy blasts. After the energy blasts were deflected. Nu summoned a portal in front of a slowed down Qrow and fired a barrage of swords at the veteran Huntsman. Once the sword barrage ended, Qrow's was knocked back a good distance. With his aura flickering for a few seconds indicating that he's close to his limit.
"Hehehe, its not often I use my second semblance against someone. The both of you truly are strong." Nu said in a sadistic tone to both Glynda and Qrow
"She . . . . has a second semblance." Professor Goodwitch said in a surprised tone before she fired a barrage of energy blasts at Nu
Out of reflex, Nu was able to summon numerous swords to stop each of the energy blasts with a great deal of precision. After the energy blast were stopped, Glynda used her semblance to gather all of the debris in the area and formed a spear with them. Once the spear was formed, she threw it at Nu with her semblance. Before the makeshift spear got too close, Nu reacted quickly and summoned a circle beneath the spear and slowed down its movements. After the spear's movements were slowed down. Nu jumped on it and ran in Glynda's direction. Once Nu got close, Glynda fired several energy bolts at her. Nu was able to jump over Glynda and managed to summon a large sword in Glynda's direction. Reacting quickly, Glynda managed to form a barrier to block the giant sword attack. When the attack reached Glynda, she was knocked back and the barrier that was formed from her semblance broke. Her aura flickered for a few seconds, but like Qrow she was still able to fight. Before Nu acted further, she had a satisfied look on her face before she turned to look at the direction of Beacon.
"I know where my dear Ragna is. I must be reunited with his so we can be one with each other. Hehehehehe HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Nu said in a sadistic tone to the pair before she burst in a sadistic laughter
"Your not going . . . ." Qrow said before Nu summoned several large swords at both Qrow and Glynda. The pair quickly moved away from the giant blades. But in doing so, the space between the two became significantly larger.
Once the large space was made between Nu and the veteran pair. Nu summoned a gravity circle beneath her and formed the swords that's behind her into a pair of wings. After she did so, Nu proceeded to use a good deal of her strength and leaped far into the air and managed to go a great distance.
"Why do you think she's going back to Ragna?" Professor Goodwitch asked Qrow in a tone that is mixed with curious and concerned
"I don't know but judging from the fight she put up with us earlier and the way she acted when she knew where he is. Its safe to say that Ragna is in more danger than the both of us were a few minutes ago." Qrow said before the both of them fought against the oncoming Grimm with their combined yet diminishing strength
(Beacon Docks)
Once the airship made it to the docks, all the students inside immediately sprung into action. The moment the students went outside, several Ursa Grimm made their way to the large group of students. The moment the Ursa were seen, Flynt blew into his trumpet and blew the Ursa back making space between the two. When a different group of Grimm were seen, Noel transformed Bolverk into a minigun and her along with Coco unloaded onto the Grimm group and was able to destroy them in a matter of seconds.
The next hoard of Grimm were Beowolves this time. Once they got close to the group, Neon another member of team FNKI like Flynt. Quickly skated by and froze the legs of the hoard of Beowolf Grimm. Before the Grimm could break out of the ice, Bang, Nora, Yatsuhashi, and Makoto proceeded to quickly kill the partially frozen Grimm. After the hoard of Grimm were dealt with, several Beringal Grimm appeared and made their way towards the group.
Once the group noticed the Beringal Grimm, Leo stepped forward and used his semblance Lion Roar to stun the Grimm for a brief moment. This moment was all that was needed, since both Sol and Ky made a single slash of their swords and proceeded to deal with the Grimm in one fell swoop.
"I noticed that most of the Grimm are gathering at the school. It'll be tough, but we need to go and defend the school. At least until everyone who can't fight are evacuated." Kagura said with everyone agreeing with him and the all made their way towards Beacon. Before they made it too far, Jaune noticed Minerva arriving to reunite with Celica and Saya. Getting curious, he decided to go and check on the two.
"Minerva, this is a request and order from me. No matter what happens please look after Saya." Celica said before she decided to try to run off. Only to be stopped by Jaune
"Sister Celica, where are you going?" Jaune asked in a concerned tone
"A lot of people are still hurt out there. I have to use my abilities to help them however I can." Celica to Jaune in a determined tone to help people
"Sister Celica please stay close to me. Jin wanted me to look after you and Saya and I won't let him down." Jaune said trying to stop Celica from going
"Jaune, I've been in conflict before and I can handle myself. Besides, just as you, Ragna, and Jin have a need to protect the people. I have a need to heal people and I can't stop myself from doing so. Minerva will look after Saya, so I know for certain that she'll be protected." Celica told Jaune in a reassuring and kind tone
"But . . ." Jaune started to say before the both of them heard the sound of clapping. Once the both of them turned to see who was clapping at them. They saw a slender man wearing a yellow coat with black markings. When Jaune squinted his eyes, he saw sharp green eyes. Before, Jaune could question anything, he noticed that Celica had a look of pure fear and caution on her face.
"Such an admirable and noble statement from you Celica. Maybe if your sister wasn't such a pain in the ass and had gotten some of your qualities. Things wouldn't have ended as badly as they did." Terumi said after he stopped clapping slowly and got into view
"It . . . . can't be." Celica said in a cautious and nervous tone
"Well, isn't that any way to treat an old friend? I mean, I know that the witch bitch and that cat hate me as much as I hate them. But can we at least pretend to be polite and civil?" Terumi said in a teasing tone to Celica. When Terumi made a move to approach them, Pyrrha fired a rifle and narrowly missed Terumi on purpose making the warning shot clear. When Terumi looked to see who fired. He saw Pyrrha and she was with the students that arrived at the Beacon docks.
"What were you intending to do to them?" Pyrrha asked ready to attack the potential threat
"I just planned to give them a thorough detail on how royally screwed they all are. Seeing all this despair and destruction. My associate did a wonderful job, due in no small part from me of course." Terumi said gloating to the students
"You're one of the people who set up all of this?" Sun asked in a surprised tone
"Of course, I didn't do it alone mind you. But I am very proud of my work. Seeing so many bright futures dimly put out. By the very horrors that's practically next door. So many people honestly thought that the Kingdom or at the very least the school would be a safe have from the Grimm. Well they needed a reality check and I'm the person who was willing to cash it." Terumi said to everyone gloating in the negativity he's feeling
"Who are you?" Coco asked causing Terumi to have a quick glance at Celica
"I know that you've told them about how your related to the witch and the cat. So how about you tell them who I am. Its only fair seeing as though I've worked with your family a long time ago." Terumi told Celica
"There is a lot my sister hasn't told me about her experiences with the Black Beast. But both her and Jubei made it clear that this man is not to be trusted. This man's name is Terumi Yuuki." Celica said causing some of the students to look surprised
"Terumi Yuuki, the same Terumi that's one of the six heroes?" Pyrrha asked in a surprised tone
"In the flesh, well now that we're introduced. I supposed its time to get to the entertainment. I'm a little bored and time isn't the only thing I plan on killing tonight." Terumi said before he made a sinister chuckle
"What do you mean?" Coco asked knowing the likely answer
"Well I intend to do to you what the Grimm are doing to a lot of people. But don't feel too bad, its more preferable than what Rags would've done if not for the Hero of Vale." Terumi said before he made a sinister smirk
"Screw this!" Nora yelled before she fired her grenade launchers at Terumi. With a bored look on his face. Terumi managed to kick the launched grenades away from him and they exploded from a distance. After the grenade exploded, Terumi did a brief stretch and made a sinister smirk
"Let's dance." Terumi said sadistically before the students started to fight him
Some of the students were able to get to Terumi sooner than the others. When Neptune and Scarlet got close. The both of them tried to attack from two different sides. Unfortunately, Terumi was able to easily dodge the attacks and after doing so. He proceeded to kick the two away from him. After Neptune and Scarlet were kicked away, Ren tried to attack him using his speed and agility. This proved to be ineffective, because Terumi was able dodge Ren's attacks with relative ease.
Once Terumi noticed Nora, he managed to push Ren away and was able to avoid Nora's hammer attacks. After avoiding Nora's attacks, he managed to land a cross kick at both Nora and Ren since they were nearby. After the two teammates were kicked, Bang proceeded to aggressively attack Terumi. Unfortunately, Bang was unable to land a hit and after Terumi avoided another hit. He managed to punch Bang in the stomach and did a flip kick to knock him back.
Both Bullet and Makoto tried to attack Terumi from two different sides. Terumi though has managed to block both of their attacks and proceeded to kick the both of them in the stomach before he did a split kick and knocked them away. Sun got close and tried to attack Terumi with his gun-chucks. Unfortunately, Terumi paid Sun no attention as he effortlessly blocked each of Sun's gun-chucks attacks. He then turned his weapon to its staff form and tried to attack Terumi further. But the green-haired warrior managed to dodge the staff attacks and managed kick Sun across his face and knock him back.
Not wanting to take any chances, Kagura generated several razor winds and threw them at Terumi. Seeing the attacks coming, Terumi proceeded to breakdance and used his feet to redirect the energy of the razor winds and managed to launch himself into the air. Before anyone had the chance to fire at him. Terumi managed to land a dive kick on Kagura and caused a shockwave as a result.
After landing on Kagura, Terumi skillfully moved out of the way to avoid Yatsuhashi's sword attacks. After the sword attacks were avoided, Terumi managed to land several kicks against the large student and was able to push him back a bit. Arslan of team ABRN got close to Terumi and tried to hit him a strong aura force palm attack. Terumi on the other hand managed to gleefully deflect her attack by grabbing her arm and moved it out of the way. After the arm was moved, Terumi tightened his grip and managed to break Arslan's arm before kicking her away.
After kicking Arslan away, Jaune made several sword slashes against Terumi with the hopes to at least land a couple of hits. Unfortunately, Terumi managed to dodge each of them and after dodging one more. He managed to kick Jaune's shield away punch him in the face before kicking him away. After a brief second, Terumi was able to catch Jaune's shield and threw it at the group of students that were coming for him. The shield managed to hit Leo and stunned him for a second. Before Ky and Sol got close, Terumi proceeded to make a jump kick at Ky. When Sol was close, he tried to land a few sword attacks. But him not being at full strength allowed Terumi to dodge the attacks and he elbowed Sol in the stomach. After the attack, Terumi jump kicked Sol away from him.
Another student named Roy Stallion of team BRNZ tried to attack Terumi. He initiated the attack by throwing some of his saws at the sadistic warrior. Terumi dodged the first saw that was thrown and kicked away the follow-up saw. After Terumi kicked the saw away, Roy was able to recover one of his saws and tried to attack Terumi in close quarters. Terumi managed to dodge Roy's attacks with little effort and eventually decided to block one of his attacks. After blocking the attack, Terumi decided to grab Roy by his neck and effortlessly lifted him up while facing the students that tried to fight him.
"Do you think you've won, we'll find a way to stop people like you." Roy said while struggling to break free of Terumi's grip. When Terumi heard Roy's words, he turned to the dark-skinned student and made a smirk before talking.
"I'm savvy enough to acknowledge that possibility. So someday maybe I will be stopped. But not today and most certainly. . . . not by any of you." Terumi said before he turned to the other students. Before Terumi spoke further, he tightened his grip on Roy's neck and after a split second. The sound of bones snapping could be heard by everyone nearby. When Terumi released his grip, Roy's body fell to the floor. Making the indication clear that Terumi killed him. When everyone saw Roy's lifeless body, a some of them has a look of pure fear in their eyes. While others are wondering how they can continue on. After Roy's body fell to the floor, Terumi kicked Roy's corpse to the other students before he resumed his smirk
"So . . . anyone else want to be next? I'm still bored and I refuse to believe that beating all of you is honestly this easy." Terumi said before he started to slowly approach everyone causing them to step back. With some of them shielding Celica and Saya along with Minerva
"Everyone we need a plan, attacking him isn't going to cut it." Sun said in a worried tone
"Anything we do against him isn't going to even faze him. We need an opening so we can escape." Coco said in a cautious tone while looking at Terumi
"Everyone, all of you go on ahead. I know that I can't beat him, but I should be strong enough to give all of you a chance to get away from him." Bang said before he stepped forward ready to face Terumi.
"I'll help you Bang, the two of us should be able to buy them more time to escape." Jaune told Bang in a determined tone
"NO JAUNE!" Noel yelled in a worried tone
"YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" Pyrrha yelled as well
"I'M NOT LETTING YOU DO THIS EITHER BANG! WE NEVER LEAVE ANYONE BEHIND!" Bullet yelled out as well
WE CAN STILL TAKE HIM!" Sun yelled out as well
"I am prepared to give my life to protect those before me. If I am to die to protect my friends and comrades. Then it is a death that I will be proud of in the next life. Jaune go and fight with them. This sacrifice will be my own and you can still live on." Bang said ready to fight Terumi
"How honorable, the sacrificial lambs decided to step to the butcher. I don't sense any negativity from either of you so it must be resolve you both have." Terumi said before he started to approach the two. When Bang and Jaune saw Terumi coming, the both of them maintained their guard and was prepared to fight to the death. So their friends could get away to safety and continue protecting the people and defending the school. Before Terumi got too close, he looked around for a few seconds and made a smile.
"I was wondering when you would show up." Terumi said before he brought out his butterfly knives and stood on guard. As if he has felt a familiar yet powerful presence. After a brief second, a short figure wearing a yellow coat appeared before the students and dashed towards Terumi. When Terumi and the short figure clashed, they created a powerful shockwave of aura that was strong enough to push back everyone that was nearby. When the shockwave ended, everyone has gotten a better look at the short figure and some of them realized who he is.
"Jubei!" Sun yelled out in a surprised tone causing everyone to look at amazement that one of the Six Heroes has come to help them against Terumi
"All of you get going, none of you are any match against Terumi." Jubei said causing Pyrrha to speak up
"Sir, with al due respect we can still help you fight and . . . ." Pyrrha said before Jubei turned his head to give her a serious glare
"JUST GO! You'll only get in the way if you try to help me fight him." Jubei told Pyrrha in a serious tone causing the tall girl to nod in agreement.
"Yes, Cat Person is going to beat up mean green guy." Tao said in an excited tone causing Bullet to cover her mouth
"This isn't the time for that Tao." Bullet told Tao
"We'll go, just be careful Mr. Jubei." Jaune said with the thought that Jubei has the situation covered
"Jubei . . . . Ragna has. . . ." Celica said before Jubei interrupted her
"I have a good idea of what happened with him. All of you get to safety, and don't worry about me. I've been wanting to kill this snake for years. Besides, my wife would kill me from beyond the grave if I die by this bastards hands." Jubei said while focused on Terumi before everyone left.
"Looks like its just you and me cat. You have no idea how long I've waited for a chance to kill you." Terumi said before he managed to push back Jubei and launched a green chain at Jubei.
Reacting quickly, Jubei was able to avoid the green chain but had to jump back as a result. After space was made between the two, Terumi proceeded to repeatedly launch his green chains at Jubei. Causing the short Faunus to both dodge and deflect the chains with ease. After a brief second, Jubei dashed towards Terumi and the two of them fought against each other at a blinding speed. Each of the attacks had clashed and sparks were flying. Jubei with his sword and Terumi with his knives. After parring another attack from each other, the both of them managed to push each other back.
"I told you a long time ago that you have no idea how screwed you were. I hope you haven't forgotten that detail in your old age." Terumi said in a gloating tone to Jubei.
After the statement, Terumi launched his green chain at Jubei in a quick speed. Seeing the attack coming, Jubei waited patiently for the chain to get close to him. Once it did, Jubei used his sword to propel himself over the green chain and ran on the chain and got closer to Terumi. Before the slender man could react, Jubei managed to kick Terumi across the face. Which managed to stagger him to the side away from Jubei.
"I haven't forgotten those words Terumi. Just like I haven't forgotten the fact that you have a lot of lives to answer for. Like that young boy you killed earlier." Jubei said in a bold and angry tone before he drew his second sword
"Haku may have been late to the party, but you're a much bigger pain in the ass. I can't remember the last time I used Ouroboros. So I guess its fitting that I use it to kill you, old friend." Terumi said before he summoned his green chain that had a snake like appearance
"I know for a fact that you couldn't have done this alone. So rest assured that once I'm done with you, your partners are next. I know all about Salem, but I wonder how much about the past you told her. Aside from that detail the broadcast told the world." Jubei said before both him and Terumi clashed against each other and fought furiously
(Beacon Entrance)
Blake felt conflicted splitting up with Weiss moments earlier. She knows that the heiress can handle herself and that they can cover more ground like this. But with everything that's going on, anything can happen and that's what scares her the most. Among the unexpected events, are the arrival of the White Fang and the sight of them bringing the Grimm to the school. It is clear to the young student that everything that happened has been carefully planned out. The timing of the broadcast that coincides with the White Fang's arrival. All of this can't be a coincidence. Especially with what the announcer knew of their failed mission. In addition to that, the fact that the announcer of the broadcast knew that the Aura Beast's real name is the Black Beast and it will return in the form of Ragna.
Blake didn't know how to feel about everything she learned about that announcement. She knows that Ragna is a good person and is someone that she has a great deal of respect for. But if he truly is the key for the Beast to return. Then how will she approach him from this point on. Not to mention, did Ragna keep all of the facts about the Black Beast a secret. Blake thought for a few more moments of how the world has lied to everyone. But quickly pushed those thoughts aside. She knew that she had to give Ragna a chance to explain himself. Besides, as far as being able to keep secrets, Blake knows that she has no right to judge anyone for keeping secrets from people.
As Blake was going around the school, she found herself quickly dispatching the Grimm and the members of the White Fang. Once she got further, she managed to come across a large hole that leads directly to large room that's been destroyed. When Blake took a closer look. She noticed a familiar face and figure that she didn't expect or want to see. She saw a tall man with red hair, but what made him stand out further is the mask he wears. When Blake saw him, she felt a rush of memories and quickly realized that he saw her.
"Hello my old friend." Adam told Blake in a calm tone
"Wha . . . . what are you doing here?" Blake asked in a surprised tone after seeing Adam. While looking at Adam, she cautiously stepped back while Adam started to walk forward.
"You plan on running away again Blake? I see that the cowardly humans have started to rub off on you. Now your misguided sympathy has turned you into a coward just like them." Adam said before he started to increase his walking speed
"Adam, what have you done?" Blake asked before she started to draw her weapon
"I have done what was always necessary Blake. I have finally started the spark of Revolution and as Beacon falls. Many of our kind will see that it is our time to rise up and fight." Adam said before he killed a Grimm that approached him with a swing of his sword
"Adam, this isn't what I wanted for us! I wanted equality and peace, I didn't want this chaos and destruction! All your doing is making things worse for everyone and leading the Faunus down a path where there is no turning back from." Blake said trying to plead with Adam
"What you want are nothing more than delusions and false dreams. What you want is IMPOSSIBLE FOR US! But I see that I was careless in allowing your concern for the humans to delude your sense of reality. But do not worry, there is a way for you to return to your kind. But first, you must be punished for your betrayal to our noble mission. I will destroy everything you love and hold dear. So when you truly have nothing, you will be built up again your sense of reality will be cleansed. You will see that us Faunus are superior to the humans and will come to understand that. You won't die, but you must be punished for your betrayal and cleansed of your delusions." Adam said before Blake charged towards Adam and clashed swords against him. Blake did the best she could to hold her ground against Adam. But Adam managed to slowly overwhelm her
"I will not run Adam, I won't let you do this." Blake told Adam in a defiant tone
"You will run Blake, and you will be punished. The flames of the revolution will spread throughout Remnant. Beacon will just be the first to fall to the spark." Adam said before he managed to trip Blake and kick her back a small distance.
Blake was able to recover but found herself at a disadvantage against Adam. She tried to fire her pistol at Adam. But the swordsman blocked the gunshots with his sword with relative ease and started to glow. After a brief second, Blake stopped firing at Adam and tried to resume her close quarters fight against him. She skillfully tried to attack Adam with speed and precision. But Adam managed to hold his ground and both blocked and parried each of Blake attacks.
After a moment. Adam went on the offensive and started his aggressive attacks against Blake. Even though she was being pushed back, Blake was able to maintain her guard and block each of Adam's attacks. This kept up for a few minutes, until Adam glowed and released a strong attack that was able to break Blake's guard and knock her down as a result. After Blake was knocked down, she tried to get back up, but Adam held his sword to her.
"I told you Blake, your punishment is inevitable." Adam said before he made a move to stab Blake. The young student closed her eyes getting ready for the injury but before she realized it the stab never came.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a white sword blocking Adam's sword from stabbing her. When Blake looked to see who saved her, she saw that it was Jin that stopped Adam's attack. After seeing Jin, Blake was able to stand up and recover her weapon. But after she did so, more White Fang members started to surround them.
"There's still enough time for you to get away from here. I can handle this much easily Blake." Jin told Blake while holding his ground against Adam
"But Jin you can't . . . ." Blake said before Jin raised his voice
"DO IT, OR DO YOU WANT TO DIE!?" Jin yelled causing Blake to think for a second
"Jin, thank you." Blake said before she ran off. One of the White Fang soldiers made a move to go after her but Adam yelled out
"Let her go, she not important at the moment. I have an even better prize." Adam said proudly before he jumped back and made space between him and Jin
"What we have here is an individual that represents the very thing we're fighting against my White Fang brothers and sisters. We need witnesses, because this will be the day that I bring down Jin Kisaragi the Hero of Vale. Or should I say the Hero to the humans? Because he is no hero to our kind, after all he came from Atlus. The very kingdom that is the symbol of our oppression." Adam stated causing the nearby White Fang members to cheer for him
"Yet from what I'm seeing right now. I just see a bunch of terrorists that's willing to kill the innocent and the guilty. You say you represent the Faunus, but all you've done is make the people fear the Faunus. By taking part in all of this destruction, the White Fang has painted a target on the Faunus's back while continuing your own delusions of justice." Jin stated to Adam while he was on guard
"It was no delusion that the humans have oppressed the Faunus for many years! It was no delusion that humans have allowed the Faunus to die due to the Black Beast! It was no delusion the humans have lied to the world over a name. You humans are the ones who are delusional, and your time is at an end. Your kind will do more than respect the Faunus, they will learn to serve us." Adam stated passionately causing the nearby White Fang members to cheer loudly before he continued
"I have the strength to do what's needed. I will unify our people with no compromise. The Faunus will be led to salvation and we will regain our lives." Adam stated causing the White Fang to cheer much more loudly
"our delusions of grandeur is much greater than I thought. It's clear that you have a large following within the White Fang. I bring you down, then it will no doubt deal a severe blow to you terrorists." Jin said before he started to approach Adam
"Then let us see what you can do Jin Kisaragi. None of you are to interfere under any circumstances. This false hero to the humans needs to die at the hands of true justice. By the blade of a true hero." Adam stated before he approached Jin as well
The second the two got close to each other, Adam drew his sword and proceeded to slash at Jin. Reacting quickly, Jin was able to block Adam's sword attacks and after doing so. He created several ice shards and blasted them at Adam. Unfortunately, Adam was able to destroy the ice shards and after doing so. He proceeded to fire his gun at his target. Jin was able to deflect the gunshots with his sheath after he did so. Jin proceeded to throw his sword and sheath at Adam.
Not wanting to take any chances, Adam knocked Jin's sword away with a swipe of his own sword. Then he fired his gun at the sheath and was able to knock it away as well. After Adam knocked the sword and sheath away, he saw Jin quickly run towards him. Adam made a move to deliver a strong slash against Jin. But before the sword attack got close, Jin was able to materialize Yukianessa and block Adam's sword attack. After Adam's attack was block, Jin managed to kick Adam in the chest and knock him back a small distance.
"A lucky hit Hero of Vale, but don't get ahead of yourself. I've seen you fight against the Herald of the Black Beast and I know for certain that you're not at full strength." Adam stated to Jin
"I don't have to be at full strength to be able to bring you down." Jin told Adam in a confident tone
"Arrogant, just like the rest of your kind. But let's see how long you can keep up such false bravado." Adam said before he fired his gun at Jin.
When Jin noticed Adam firing his gun. He instinctively cut the ground and made a small ice wall to block the gun shots. Once the gunshots stopped, Jin destroyed the ice wall nd sent them towards Adam. This time, Adam dodged the ice wall debris and proceeded to dash towards Jin. Once the two got close, the both of them clashed blades against each other. Each staring the other down with a strong sense of resolve.
(Beacon Plaza)
When Nu arrived on the grounds of Beacon, she looked around at all the destruction and mayhem that she was present for. But the sight before her did not faze her one bit. Because only one thing has occupied her mind and she knows where the focus of her thoughts are.
"Hehehehe I know where you are Ragna, now nothing can stop me. You will soon be mine forever." Nu said before she quickly went forwards at an intense speed.

First allow me to confirm that in this story, Nu has two semblances. I have repeatedly gone over the lore of RWBY regarding semblance and there was nothing that was said about it being impossible for a character to not have two semblance. So I decided to allow Nu to have two semblances in this story. The first semblance is summoned swords which is self-explanatory. The second semblance is gravity alter, Nu can summon a gravity circle and gravity within that circle is altered. The gravity can be heavy or light but it ultimately depends on Nu.
For Ragna's semblance Aura Eater, the reason he's gained so many abilities in a short time span is because of Nu's presence. While Ragna is close to Nu, his own power actually gets stronger.
Ragna would have been able to eventually develop the new abilities such as power copy and memory steal on his own over time. But with Nu being at Beacon and the both of them having the Grimm Aura, it managed to speed up the process greatly. Once there is a lot of distance between the two, Ragna won't get the power boost.
