I already have some redesign ideas and once its time, I will give a detailed description of the character's new appearrance.
Chapter 54 Loss PT 4
(Within Beacon)
Hearing Ragna confess that he's been lying for months, fills Yang with a great deal of emotions. Of the many emotions that Yang is filled with is rightful anger. Over time, Yang has build her trust in Ragna over time and has started to see Ragna as someone who's important to her. To see that he lied to her for so long has inflicted a deep emotional wound on her. A wound that is all too similar to what her own mother has inflicted on her. Making things worse is that it was Cinder, a woman who is no doubt responsible for all of this was the one who revealed Ragna's lies. She knows that Cinder is the true threat, but the deception made Ragna a bigger priority. The only thing she can do, is stand there in silence. Contemplating on what to do, now that an important figure in her life has hurt her deeply.
"You knew that Cinder and her team was up to something and you lied to all of us." Weiss said to Ragna in a tone that is a mix of surprised and anger
"Look, the reason I lied to you was complicated. But we have to deal with Cinder right now. Can't you guys see that us arguing is what she wants?" Ragna told Weiss
"You don't get to sweep this under the rug Ragna. You knew that all of us were in danger and had an idea of who were responsible. Yet instead of telling us, you kept it a secret from all of us." Weiss said before she had a quick thought about past events
"Did Jin know Cinder was behind this? A few months ago he asked me if he should trust you and I said that he should." Weiss asked in an observant tone before she took a quick glance at Yang who was in silence while filled with anger
Ragna knew that Weiss was a very intelligent student. When Jin told him that he talked to Weiss. Ragna suspected that Weiss would bring up this question once Cinder revealed the truth. Ragna knows that he's in a lot of trouble due to him lying and keeping secrets from a lot of people. Its also to be expected that Jin would get in trouble if anyone found out Ragna told Jin about his suspicions regarding Cinder. After thinking about the Weiss's question for a bit. Ragna decided to do something as a big brother. Since he didn't want to ruin things for Jin.
"No Weiss, Jin didn't know anything. I asked him to help me and he did it. Because he wanted to see if we could try to mend things between us. I kept secrets from him too." Ragna told Weiss causing the heiress to have a surprised look on her face.
"How could you, as if keeping secrets from us isn't bad enough. But you even lied to your own brother." Weiss told Ragna in an angry tone
"You shouldn't be too surprised Weiss, if you knew what Ragna did to Jin." Yang said in an angry tone to Weiss
"What do you mean Yang?" Weiss asked in a curious tone at Yang's statement
"Ragna has a history of doing whatever he wants and he doesn't care about who he ends up hurting in the process. Lying to us and keeping secrets is par for the course for him. But his crowning achievement, is what he did when him and Jin were kids. 8 years ago, he wanted to toughen Jin up and took him to an area full of Grimm. As a result, Jin almost got killed. But Ragna showed no sympathy for almost getting his own brother killed. Jin tried to get even and the two of them started fighting each other. That moment is the reason the both of them hate each other." Yang told which surprised Weiss while angering Ragna
"How . . . . how could you do that to your own brother?" Weiss asked while remembering Winter's words about Ragna
"Yang, why would you reveal something like that?" Ragna asked in an angry tone
"Doesn't the truth hurt Ragna? Well now you know how I feel when I found out you lied and kept secrets from me. You knew what my own birth mother has done to me when I was a baby. You knew how I felt about being lied to and abandoned. Yet you did it anyways, and you expect me to just endure this pain as if nothing's happened." Yang stated to Ragna while her eyes are red
"Listen, I had a good reason for . . . . ." Ragna tried to explain before Yang cut him off
"Because we've been good friends up to this point, I'm going to give you a chance to make things right. If you do one simple thing for me, then I will listen to whatever you have to say. We will also move past this and everything will be just like before between us." Yang told Ragna in a calm tone while he and Weiss listened. After Yang made her statement, she proceeded to walk towards Nu and point at her
"This girl is a part of Cinder's team. So more than likely, she knows a few interesting things. Since she's unconscious, we can easily capture her. Help bring her to the General and I will listen to whatever you have to say. Even the reason for why you kept such a secret from me." Yang told Ragna
"It makes sense, the General is the only one who can detain her. We also don't know what she's fully capable of. So having her captured is the best thing we can do." Weiss said agreeing with Yang.
After the two girls agreed with each other, Yang started to make her way towards Nu. Before Yang got too close to the unconscious girl, an arm stopped her going any closer. When Yang looked to see who stopped her, she saw that it was Ragna. Once he was noticed, Yang's eyes started to turn red and she proceeded to ball her fist up. While at the same time, Weiss proceeded to tighten her grip on her sword. Because at this point, anything can happen between the three of them.
"I'm sorry for lying and keeping secrets from you. I know I've hurt you and even though I have a good reason for it. It doesn't change the fact that I lied to you. But I can't let you bring Nu to the General." Ragna said while he stopped Yang
"General Ironwood is the only one who can handle someone like her. You know how strong she is. We can't let her go free or else she could end up hurting a lot of people." Weiss stated to Ragna
"Nu is just a kid, you don't know what she's been through in her life. Do you think she wanted to help someone like Cinder? Besides, I don't trust the General and I know for certain that he's hiding a few secrets." Ragna responded to Weiss
"You have a lot of nerve lecturing us about trust. Knowing full well that your in no position to talk about that." Weiss boldly responded
"Ragna, is it a can't or a won't?" Yang asked in a low and angry tone
"Its both." Ragna plainly responded
"I see." Yang said before she looked around the area.
After she did so, she delivered a strong uppercut towards Ragna and he fell as a result. While Ragna was down, Weiss used her glyphs to freeze Ragna in place to prevent him from moving. After Ragna was frozen, Yang proceeded to grab Nu and the teammates managed to run away from the area. As fast as they possibly can, before anyone was able to catch up to them.
"That's not going to hold him for long. What do you plan on doing with her?" Weiss asked while the two were running
"General Ironwood can't be too far from here. First we lose Ragna, then we turn her in." Yang said before the both of them heard the sound of the ice breaking and they realized that Ragna broke free from being frozen. Before the two of them were able to go far, a weapon was thrown at the two and they were separated. When the two girls looked to see what was thrown. They saw that it was Ragna's weapon in its scythe form and it returned to him.
Seeing Ragna quickly coming towards the both of them. Weiss created a giant ice wall to keep Ragna away from them. Unfortunately, Ragna was able to destroy the ice wall with a single attack and was able to get closer to the girls. After the ice wall was destroyed, both Ragna and Weiss locked blades against each other.
"Turning her in to the General is the best course of action from this point. Why are you so against this?" Weiss asked while holding her ground
"Because that girl never had a choice to begin with. You bring her to the General, then her life is over before she even has a chance to live." Ragna argued to Weiss while locking blades with her
"So your going to ignore everyone that was hurt by her and her team?" Weiss asked causing Ragna to be able to push her back. After Weiss was pushed back, Weiss had set up a glyph. But before she could do anything, Ragna rushed through the glyph and knocked Weiss down with a sword attack. After Ragna knocked down Weiss, he absorbed some of her aura and felt the same sensation he had when he absorbed Winter's aura. After feeling the sensation, Ragna thought of an idea and summoned a glyph beneath Yang.
Once Yang noticed the glyph, she tried to move out of the way. But it was too late and she was quickly launched up the air while dropping Nu. Fortunately, Ragna was fast enough to catch Nu before she hit the floor. After catching Nu, Ragna used a good deal of his energy to destroy the ground beneath him and went underground. After Ragna left, the glyph he created disappeared and Yang fell to the floor.
"C'mon we have to catch up to those two before Ragna loses us." Yang said before her and Weiss jumped down the hole.
(Beacon Courtyard)
Jaune and Noel is facing a very mysterious individual at this very moment. The man's face is hidden behind a mask and he gives off a very intimidating presence. His earlier statement made his intention to do harm very clear to the two. So the both of them are on guard for anything that either the man or the large crimson doll might try to do.
"I am giving you one last chance to stand aside boy. I abhor wasting my time and dealing with you in any form. Will ultimately prove to be inconsequential to me." Relius told Jaune while giving him an empty look through his mask
"Your not going to hurt anyone." Jaune said in a bold tone to Relius while on guard with his shield and sword
"Very well." Relius said before Noel started to fire at the man
Reacting quickly, Relius proceeded to dodge Noel's gunshots with relative ease. After the gunshots were dodged, Jaune started to attack Relius with various sword attacks. Unfortunately for Jaune, the masked man proceeded to dodge each sword swing that was aimed at him with ease. After dodging another sword swing, Relius proceeded to kick Jaune away from him. After making the kick, Relius started to approach Noel slowly, walking at a calm yet intimidating pace. Before he got too close, Relius instinctively raised his hand to catch a sword attack from Jaune.
Jaune was surprised by Relius catching his sword and tried pull his sword away from him. Unfortunately for him, Relius's grip was too strong and he ended up throwing Jaune to the side while he was holding his sword with little effort. After seeing this, Noel turned her duel guns into a minigun and proceeded to fire at Relius. Before the shots could reach the masked man, the large crimson doll suddenly appeared in front of Relius and blocked the shots from Noel's minigun. After a few seconds, Noel stopped firing and Ignis hit Noel to a nearby wall. After Noel had hit the wall, the large crimson doll grabbed her head and proceeded to lift her up.
"Now eye of blue, show me what I seek." Relius said before he started to radiate his aura. As Relius was radiating his aura, Noel's eyes started to turn blue while she was struggling to get free. Out of the small gap between Ignis's hand, she saw Jaune trying to run and help her. Before Jaune got close, Noel reached her and out and used the remainder of her strength to speak.
"Jaune, run!" Noel said before she started to feel a painful sensation while Relius and Ignis started to glow brightly which blinded Jaune
While Noel was filled with the intense yet painful sensation. Reius started to receive several visions in his mind that was vividly clear to him. One of the images is of Tenjo while she is in disguise. Another image that Relius received is of a device that is hidden within Ronin-Gai. A third image is of an empty armor that is within a chamber that's hidden within a rose garden.
"I see, so that is where each of them are located." Relius commented before he started to receive more images
As the images was made clear to Relius, he saw Cinder within Beacon. A second image came into his mind and it was a woman and she was wearing a mask that is similar to the Grimm. The third image was of a significantly older woman with white hair laying down on a hospital bed.
"So these are the maidens." Relius commented, before he was able to get the image of the fourth Maiden. A boarbatusk Grimm was knocked in Relius's direction. Relius was able to notice the Grimm and knocked to the side. Though both him and Ignis stopped radiating energy as a result. When both Relius and Jaune looked to see who it was that knocked the Grimm over. They saw that it was Cardin wielding his mace
"Cardin." Jaune said in a surprised tone
"Another insignificant speck." Relius said while giving Cardin an empty look through his mask.
"We'll see how insignificant I am when I smash your skull with my mace." Cardin said before he started to charge towards Relius.
Once Cardin got close, he made a motion to attack Relius. Unfortunately for him, Relius simply smacked Cardin away despite the strength of Cardin's attack. After Cardin was smacked away, Jaune rushed to Relius while armed with his sword. Before Jaune got close, Relius simply kicked him and ended up knocking him back.
"There is no doubt that more insignificant being will arrive and things unpleasant. Tempting as it is to bring back the holder of the eye of blue. It would br troublesome on the long run if I do so prematurely." Relius said before Ignis let go of Noel.
Before Noel's body reached the ground, Jaune was able to quickly catch her. After Jaune caught her, Noel didn't move or wake up. Her eyes were closed as if she was in a deep sleep.
"Noel, please wake up. Don't leave me like this Noel please." Jaune said while trying to wake Noel up but it was no use. When it was made clear that Noel wasn't waking up, he looked at Relius with anger in his eyes
"What did you do?!" Jaune asked Relius in a demanding tone while holding Noel
"I suspect that she is still alive. Though forcing her to use her power before she fully awakened to it. Has put a larger strain on her body than I suspected. Regardless as such, I've gotten what I needed and I shall take my leave.
"Your not going anywhere." Cardin said once he came back from being knocked back by Relius
"I second that statement." A voice said which had gotten everyone's attention. When everyone looked to see where the source of the voice came from. They all saw Dr. Oobleck wielding his hammer.
"Another insignificant speck, though I must admit that this one appears to be an intellectual." Relius said while looking at Dr. Oobleck
"You do come across as an intellectual sort. I must admit that under most circumstances, I would love to have an in dept conversation with you. But you've hurt my students, and that is something I cannot let go." Dr. Oobleck said before he proceeded to attack Relius. Reacting quickly, Relius decided to make a large jump back to avoid the hammer attack.
"There is no doubt more Huntsman are on there way. I've got what I needed and that is all that matters. Ignis, we must depart." Relius said before him and Ignis disappeared. After the masked man left, Dr. Oobleck and Cardin went to Jaune while he was holding Noel.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for being weak Noel. Please wake up, I know you can wake up." Jaune pleaded in tears while holding Noel in his arms
"Jaune, let me take a quick look at her." Dr. Oobleck said in a soft tone before he checked her pulse and took a quick look at her eyes. When the Doctor looked at Noel's eyes, there blue but she wasn't conscious and didn't react
"Do not worry Jaune, she is not dead. But she is most likely in a coma. We must get her to a medic so she can be treated immediately. But please understand that we must be very careful with her body." Dr. Oobleck said before the three started to leave while Jaune was carrying Noel
"Cardin . . . thanks for your help." Jaune said while carrying Noel
"Don't mention it Jaune, I'm just sorry that all of this is happening." Cardin said in a sympathetic tone
"You two have fought valiantly for your kingdom and protected the people. For that, I am proud of the both of you. Though I am sorry that I couldn't have arrived sooner to help Noel." Dr. Oobleck said causing Jaune to have a somber look on his face
(Beacon Entrance)
The students have spent a lot of their time fighting off all manner of threats that were coming towards the school. The good news is that a good number of the White Fang have started to leave the school. The bad news is that the Grimm and Atlus soldiers are still coming and attacking the students. Though everyone is able to get a chance to rest once in a while. They are slowly but surely getting to their limit and help still hasn't arrived yet.
"How much longer do you guys think we can keep this up?" Sun asked everyone while taking deep breaths
"However long it takes, we can't leave this school defenseless." Nora responded to Sun
"But we can't keep this up forever, either more people come to help us. Or the Grimm and berserk Atlus soldiers start to overwhelm us. All of us are almost at our limit and some of us are running out of ammo and supplies." Bullet told everyone
"Not to mention our aura reserves. I know that some of us can recover aura quickly. But we have limits and its catching up to us." Velvet said while resting
"Even if we leave now, the Grimm would tear us apart because of how much of our strength is exhausted. So lets recover as much of our strength as we can and once all of us are in good condition. Then we can discuss whether or not we'll go or hold our ground." Kagura said with everyone agreeing. A few seconds after Kagura spoke, several large Atlus mechs appeared and started to approach the students. As the mechs were getting closer, the students armed themselves with there weapons. But were significantly exhausted and didn't look forward to fighting. Before any of them could do anything, a good number of them started to have a strong sense of fear.
"Why am I afraid all of a sudden? I know these mechs are strong but there not that terrifying." Neon said while some of the other students started to feel the same fear
"The last time I felt like this was when . . . . oh no." Neptune said after having a major realization for who is nearby
Before the Atlus mechs could do anything, a single attack destroyed them with ease. When the students looked to see who destroyed the mechs, they see a large muscular man ahead of them. After the mechs were destroyed, the muscular man started to approach everyone with a sinister grin on his face. Sun, Neptune, and Bullet recognized Azrael and they know that they are dealing with the worst possible threat.
"Everyone, we have to get as far away from here as possible. That guy is bad news and we don't stand a chance!" Sun told everyone in a cautious tone
"You know who he is Sun?" Scarlet asked while on guard
"That man's name is Azrael. He is a lot stronger than he looks and the last time we had a run in with him. We were barely able to escape." Bullet said causing the Atlus students to have a surprised look on their faces
"Wait, that's the Mad Dog Azrael. He was an urban legend back in Atlus." Flynt told everyone with Neon agreeing with a nod
"So he's a threat to us right?" Coco asked
"Yeah, but that's an understatement." Sun said to Coco
"Then let's hurry and deal with this guy." Coco said before she brought out her minigun and proceeded to fire at Azrael. As Coco was firing her minigun, she used her semblance to strengthen the dust bullets that she was using for her minigun. After a brief second, Coco proceeded to fire at Azrael. The large man just stood there and endured the firing barrage and after a few seconds, Coco's minigun stopped firing at Azrael. Once the firing stopped, Azrael brushed off his shoulder and proceeded to walk slowly towards the students.
"Not bad, that was good enough for a massage." Azrael said as he was walking
"Try not to panic everyone, but I'm all out of ammo. So if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears." Coco said while they all looked at the approaching Azrael.
"I see some familiar faces among you all. So did any of you miss me?" Azrel asked in a mocking tone before some of the students started to charge at him.
Hibiki was the first to act as he used his semblance to dive into the nearby shadow. Almost immediately afterwards, Hibiki launched from behind Azrael and tried to attack him. Unfortunately, Azrael was able to quickly grab Hibiki and slam him to ground. Yatsuhashi got close and tried to attack Azrael with a sword attack. The large muscular man parried Yatsuhashi's attack with his arm and was able to knock him back. Arslan tried to attack Azrael with a single palm strike. The attack did nothing to the large man and he ended up kicking the robed girl away.
Bang quickly jumped in front of Azrael and tried to deliver a strong punch to the man's face. Azrael managed to catch Bang's arm before it reached him. The leader of team BLST tried to use his other arm to attack Azrael. Unfortunately for Bang, the large man was able to catch the other arm and managed to squeeze both of Bang's arms. The sound of a large crack soon followed and Azrael had released Bang. After Bang fell to the ground, Azrael kicked Bang away with ease.
"Now where is the beast reborn? I know he's around here and he owes me a rematch. I'll be more than happy to fight the Hero of Vale instead. I would love to break his back again." Azrael said as he was approaching the students before he blocked a hammer attack from Nora.
After blocking Nora's attack, Azrael punched her away and continued his march towards the school. Flynt used his semblance Killer Quartet and hit Azrael with a direct sound blast. In response, Azrael clapped his hands together and blasted away everyone that was nearby. While also being able to stop Flynt from using his trumpet.
"Damn, this guy is as strong as ever. If he gets to the school" Bullet said as she was struggling to get up.
Once Bullet stood up, she used her gauntlet to fire energy blasts at Azrael. Unfortunately for her, Azrael was able to shrug off the blasts and continued approaching the school at a slow and casual pace. Ren proceeded to fire his guns at Azrael, but the large man wasn't affected and eventually Ren ran out of bullets. Sun ran towards Azrael and tried to attack him with his gun-chucks. Unfortunately, the large man effortlessly smacked Sun back a small distance.
"It's admirable for all of you to be fighting for your Kingdom. But all that means is that you'll die an honorable death." Azrael said before he started to approach Bullet and started to raise his fist.
"FU-RIN-KA-ZAN!" Bang yelled before he jumped over Azrael and kicked him in the chest. Bang was pushed back instead, but he was able to still stand against the Mad Dog
"Not only does your semblance strengthens your body. But it also heals your injuries, I was certain that I broke your arms earlier boy. But your aura flickered, your close to your limit. Why don't you run so you can save yourself." Azrael told Bang with a sinister smirk
"My legs will still allow me to stand and I can still attack with my arms. I Bang Shishigami will not run while people are in danger. If I must sacrifice my life to give the people a chance to live. Then it is a sacrifice I am prepared to make." Bang told Azrael in a confident tone
"Bang, you don't know what this guy is capable of!" Bullet yelled at Bang
"Bullet, you can still move, get as many people as you can to safety. I will do the best I can to hold him off." Bang responded while maintaining his gaze at Azrael
"Then it's clear you'll fight bravely boy. But that just means you'll die like the rest here." Azrael said before he threw a punch at Bang.
Reacting quickly Bang was able to catch Azrael's fist and managed to hold his ground. The large man proceeded to put more strength into his arm and slowly started to overwhelm Bang. But Bang still continued to hold his ground and managed to block Azrael's fist. While Bang was using his strength to block Azrael's attack by holding his fist. Bang was radiating his aura due to his semblance and something interesting happened next. While Bang was holding his ground, several markings started to appear all over Bang's body. As the markings started to appear, Bang started to be able to gradually resist Azrael's strength.
"GYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Bang yelled before he managed to muster up a good deal of strength and throw Azrael to the side. This action surprised the nearby students but they were unable to say anything in response. Due to them being very tired. Bang on the other hand was able to see where he threw Azrael and quickly rushed to him and punch him in the jaw. Azrael was staggered for a brief second before he pushed Bang back. After Bang was pushed back, the Mad Dog stood up and made a grin.
"Looks like your semblance has gotten stronger. That's good, you might be a good warm-up until I get to the beast." Azrael said before he rushed to Bang and made a move to punch him.
Bang's enhanced semblance allowed him to quickly avoid Azrael's attack and he counterattacked by punching Azrael in the chest. The Mad Dog was pushed back a bit but he was able to hold his ground. Not wanting to give Azrael the chance to attack further, Bang quickly rushed the large muscular man and delivered a strong kick that was able to knock Azrael back.
After Azrael was knocked back, Bang decided to follow-up with a strong punch. Unfortunately, Azrael threw a punch of his own and both of their fists collided with each other. The moment Bang and Azrael's fist clashed with each other. A strong shockwave of aura was made that was felt by the nearby students. Once a brief second have passed, Azrael and Bang proceeded to make rapid punches at each other. Each of their fists have collided with each other for a few seconds at an intense speed. Bang didn't know how long his semblance would be powered up, but as long as it allowed him to hold off Azrael and protect everyone. Then he would do everything he can with what he has. Azrael on the other hand was looking for a fight, though Bang's enhanced semblance wasn't enough for him to fight at full strength. It would be enough for him to get warmed up.
The clash of fists continued for a few more minutes. Until the both of them were able to land a hit against each other. The punch was enough to send Bang back a far distance. But Azrael was merely staggered for a brief second. Once he recovered from being staggered, Azrael looked for Bang and quickly found him. Bang was able to recover from being knocked back, but the markings on his body and his aura started to dim. After seeing this, Azrael quickly approached Bang and towered over him with a grin.
"Not bad for a warm-up boy. But its not enough for a real fight especially against me." Azrael said before he threw a fast and powerful punch at Bang's stomach. The attack was so powerful, Bang's aura had instantly broke and he could no longer stand. Before Bang fell, Azrael caught him.
"The Hero of Vale was able to survive this. Let's see if you can do the same." Azrael said before he started to lift him up. Before the Mad Dog was able to slam Bang down, Baiken quickly rushed Azrael and delivered a powerful slash at his arms. Causing Azrael to drop Bang. Before the leader of team BLST could hit the ground, Baiken was able to catch him and jumped back a good distance
"Baiken, my apologies but I couldn't stop him." Bang struggled to say
"Focus on recovering your aura and get out of here. Me and the others will handle this." Baiken told Bang
"Baiken, this guy is very strong. If I can . . . ." Bang said before a voice cut him off
"We know who this man is, I'm certain that we can either buy time for everyone to escape. Or he might get bored and leave, right now. Besides your in no condition to fight and getting people to safety is our priority right now." The woman said before she came into view
"Your Tensa, the woman that gave me advice from earlier." Bang said in a surprised tone
"Some of the other Huntsmen and Huntresses have already started to help the students. I'm a Huntress with some experience. So I'll back up Tenjo so she won't be alone. Don't worry, I'll make sure neither of us won't die." (Tensa) told Bang in a kind and confident tone similar to Tenjo. (Despite her being Tenjo but in disguise)
"I . . . . understand, please be careful you two." Bang said before he gathered the strength to leave
"Doesn't it bother you that he didn't see through your disguise Tenjo?" Baiken asked Tenjo
"Not really, besides we have bigger things to worry about. I'm surprised Azrael didn't attack us yet." Tenjo told Baiken while in disguise
"He's just confident in his power. Do you have a plan or idea to bring down Azrael?" Baiken asked Tenjo
"Draw things out, as things are right now there's no way we can beat him. Once everyone escapes, we'll follow suit." Tenjo said before her and Baiken started to engage Azrael
(Within Beacon)
As Ragna was running through the halls of Beacon, while holding Nu in his arms. He was filled with a great deal of worry regarding everything that's happened recently with Yang. Ragna understood the anger the Yang displayed, but was surprised at the offer to let it all go if Ragna brings Nu to General Ironwood. But there was one problem, Ragna couldn't bring himself to do it. If Ragna brings Nu to the General, then Yang would have forgiven him and let everything go. But the problem was that Ragna would have had to destroy Nu's life in the process.
The young girl went through things that nobody should have ever experienced. If Ragna turned Nu in to the General. Then her life would have been over because of the choices she's made with no understanding. Ragna knows that she's killed people, he knows that she's a threat to a lot of people. But he no longer sees a threat, he just sees a child who had no control or choice of the things in her life.
Ragna is fully aware of the fact that this would have been the perfect time to tell Yang and Weiss that his family was threatened. But he is fully aware of the fact that Yang is emotionally blind and not thinking clearly. If Ragna brings that up, then it would feel wrong and that he's using them as an excuse. Besides, Ragna kept quiet about Cinder before the threat was made. So wanted to own up to that responsibility.
While Ragna was running, he found a classroom that is still intact and decided to enter it. Once Ragna made it inside, he saw a large desk and decided to make his way there. Once he got to the desk, Ragna decided to hide Nu under the desk and was relieved that she would be well hidden for the time being.
"Alright Nu, stay unconscious until I can think of something. I get the feeling that things are going to get a lot worse from here." Ragna said to an unconscious Nu before he stood at the center of the classroom. Ragna spent a few minutes recovering his aura and before he knew it, he heard someone enter the room. When Ragna looked to see who entered, he saw that it was Yang. But the blonde brawler gave Ragna a glare with her red eyes. Besides her was Weiss and she was giving Ragna a similar glare
"Where is the girl Ragna?" Yang asked in an angry tone
"What will you do if I tell you?" Ragna asked Yang
"I will do what I have to do." Yang responded with her fist balled up
"Listen Yang, I know that your angry and I can't change the fact that I lied to you. But I can't turn Nu in to General Ironwood. I have a good reason for lying to you but you need to calm down." Ragna told Yang
"Why are you so set on not bringing Nu to the General Ragna?" Weiss asked Ragna
"It's a complicated story, but to sum things up. I've learned a few things recently and I don't trust him." Ragna answered which angered Yang further
"You have a lot of nerve to say something about trust. I trusted you, but you lied to me and hurt me. This is your last chance Ragna." Yang told Ragna with a great deal of anger in her voice
"I don't want to fight you Yang, but I can't turn the girl in. Not to General Ironwood of all people." Ragna said while he wielded his sword
"Then you made your choice, Ragna the Bloodedge." Yang said before she used her gauntlet blast to launch herself towards Ragna
Once Yang got close to him, she proceeded to hit Ragna with a few quick jabs. After getting hit, Ragna was able to block one of Yang's punches and proceeded to kick her away from him. Ragna tried to attack Yang with his sword, but before the attack could reach Yang. A glyph appeared and blocked Ragna's attack. When Ragna was knocked back after hitting the glyph. Weiss summoned a glyph and proceeded to fire several ice shards at Ragna.
After getting hit with a few ice shards, Ragna was able to muster up enough strength to destroy the remaining shards. Unfortunately, this left him open for Yang to rapidly punch Ragna. The punches were strong enough to knock back Ragna a good distance. But after getting knocked back, Ragna regained his footing and proceeded to hit Yang with his sword. Out of instinct, Ragna quickly turned around and blocked several sword attacks from Weiss. Once Ragna blocked a few more attacks, he found himself clashing swords against the Heiress. This allowed Yang to punch him to the side and after a few punches were landed. Yang made a direct gauntlet blast and not only was Ragna greatly hurt. But he also lost his grip and was disarmed as a result.
Yang tried to deliver a follow-up attack against Ragna. But he was able to avoid the attack and kicked Yang away. Once there was some distance between the two, Ragna tried to bring back his weapon. Unfortunately, Weiss knocked the weapon away and tried to attack Ragna while she was close. Reacting quickly, Ragna was able to avoid Weiss's attack and pushed her away. After pushing Weiss away, Ragna was punched by Yang and Weiss was able to land several sword attacks against him. After enduring a few hits, Ragna was knocked back a good distance and Weiss froze him once again.
This time with a good portion of his strength recovered, Ragna was able break out of the ice easily and managed to bring back his weapon. After getting back Bloodedge, Ragna decided to go for Weiss. Reacting quickly, Weiss summoned a glyph and focused a good deal of her energy towards the glyph and it was slowly growing. Once Ragna got close, he was prepared to attack her until something unexpected happened. Before Ragna could do anything, a large sword appeared above Ragna and it made a slash attack at him. The attack was strong enough to knock him back a good distance and he went through the desk. As a result, the desk was destroyed and it revealed where Nu was hiding.
"A new ability huh Weiss?" Ragna asked after recovering from getting knocked back
"Ragna, this doesn't need to go on like this. Just bring the girl to the General and we can talk about this." Weiss told Ragna
"Speak for yourself Weiss, he lied to me and kept us in the dark. We gave him ample opportunity to make things right with us. But since he won't bring Nu to General Ironwood. Then his mind is made up about the whole thing. He's prepared to fight for what he wants. So that can't go easy on him." Yang told Weiss in an angry tone while giving Ragna an intense glare
"Since neither of you are pulling any punches. Then I shouldn't hold back either, RESTRICTION RELEASE!" Ragna yelled before he started to dash towards the girls.
Weiss reacted by commanding the giant sword to attack Ragna with a downward swing. This time though, Ragna used his sword to block the attack of Weiss's summon. After a few seconds, Ragna was able to use a good deal of his strength and destroyed the summoned sword with a powerful burst of his aura that strengthened him. Once the summon was dissolved, Weiss tried to make another summon, but Ragna quickly approached Weiss and knocked her back with a sword attack. After Weiss was knocked back, Yang quickly approached Ragna and tried to attack him with a few strong punches. After being disarmed by Yang once again, Ragna managed to avoid Yang's punch and grabbed her arm. He used a good deal of his strength and move Yang's fist and after a brief second. Ragna was able to destroy one of Yang's gauntlets with his raw strength and after doing so, he pushed her back.
After Yang was pushed back, Ragna was able to call back his weapon and managed to deliver strong attack on Yang. Though a brief second after Ragna's attack landed, Yang was able to land a powerful burst punch and the two of them were knocked back as a result. As the two were knocked back, some of Yang's aura went to Ragna and some of his injuries recovered. After Ragna healed, he started to feel a good deal of power and started to generate energy that is similar to Yang's semblance. Once Ragna felt the energy surge, it was clear that Ragna had copied Yang's semblance and both him and Yang started to charge at each other.
The second they got close to each other, both students clashed against the other with the respective weapons. Ragna's sword, clashed with Yang's gauntlet and neither of them showed any signs of backing down. After a brief moment, the two of them started to fight furiously against each other. Yang was able to hold her own against Ragna. Due to both her anger and her semblance. But she was slowly but surely getting tired and knows that she can't keep this up. Ragna on the other hand wasn't doing much better. With little to no time to rest after fighting Nu. Ragna was exhausted and fighting against both Yang and Weiss made things worse. Ragna was close to his limit as well and he didn't know how much more he can keep going.
While Ragna and Yang was fighting against each other, Nu started to slowly regain consciousness. As she was getting up, some parts of her vision was blurry, but she was able to clearly make out a single image. The image was of Ragna and Yang fighting each other. Why the two were fighting, Nu didn't know. But she started to feel an emotional rage within her body. She didn't know why, but the thought of seeing someone hurt Ragna angered Nu. Could the reason be that Ragna is hers alone to kill, or that it could be some internal bond that she was unaware of. Whatever the reason, Nu decided to act with the remaining strength she had left. She summoned a sword and started to wield it, as she was going towards Ragna and Yang.
As Yang was fighting Ragna, behind him, she was able to notice Nu quickly approach them while armed with a sword. Yang is still angry at Ragna, for the lies he told and for keeping her in the dark. But seeing Nu come at the two of them triggered something emotionally within Yang. This emotion caused Yang to endure another one of Ragna's attacks. While she proceeded to grab Ragna with a good deal of her strength.
"LOOK OUT!" Yang yelled before she proceeded to push Ragna out of the way of Nu's attack. After Ragna was moved, Nu was able to get close to Yang and managed to deliver a powerful sword attack. The attack was strong enough to break her aura, unfortunately Nu didn't stop at the aura break. She proceeded to deliver a follow-up attack and made another slash at Yang. This time though, the sword attack was able to cut off Yang's right arm and knock her back. Once Yang was knocked back, she tried to get up but quickly fell unconscious. But after Yang lost consciousness, Weiss started to wake up and was slowly but surely getting up from the ground.
"DANG IT!" Ragna yelled before he proceeded to charge at Nu and attack her. Unfortunately, Nu was able to block Ragna's attack and after doing so. She managed to jump away from him and destroyed a portion of the wall, thus creating an escape route for her.
"We will settle this another day Ragna. Until then, you are not to die. You belong to me and nobody else." Nu said before she created an anti-gravity circle beneath her and got away from everyone
After Nu got away, Ragna decided to take a few quickly breaths before he turned to look at Yang. Once he saw her, Yang is very much alive. But she is unconscious and beaten. But to make things worse, Yang is without an arm and it was caused by the very girl Ragna tried to protect. Ragna made a motion to go check on Yang, but Weiss quickly rushed to where they are and stood between the two. After seeing the condition Yang was in, Weiss gave Ragna an intense glare and started to generate a glyph. Ragna wanted to argue, but he knew that given the circumstances. It would be better if Ragna didn't do anything to make the situation worse than it already is.
"Take care of her Weiss." Ragna said before he started to walk away.
As Ragna was walking, Weiss started to be filled with a lot of rage. Ragna knew that Cinder was up to something. But he lied and acted as if everything was fine. They had the perfect opportunity to bring in someone who is connected to Cinder and her plans. But Ragna chose to protect the girl because he couldn't trust the General. Ragna did everything he wanted to do and not what was best for the Kingdom. Ragna gave no thought or concerns of the consequences. As a result, not only did Nu get away but she also cut off the right arm of her teammate who is also her friend. This even extended to his childhood, in which the realization that he put Jin in danger. Just for to carelessly make him stronger, which made Weiss understand why Jin was on bad terms with his brother. Everything that Winter has warned Weiss about has occurred and this realization angered her further.
"Winter was right about you Ragna." Weiss told Ragna as he was leaving before she yelled
"YOU HEAR ME, WINTER WAS RIGHT ABOUT YOU! YOU DON'T BELONG HERE AT BEACON!" Weiss yelled angrily at Ragna causing him to stop for a moment. After Ragna stopped, he spent a few seconds thinking for a few seconds before he turned to look at Weiss with a tired look.
"I supposed your right, maybe I don't belong here." Ragna said in a tired tone before he left while Weiss started to tend to Yang

Celica has spent a good deal of her time healing the various students who were too injured to run. Even though she was worried about Saya being near her in the middle of such danger. Minerva was able to protect the both of them efficiently and everything has been going well so far. Though the both of them still see the Grimm, it feels like their activities have started to die down a bit. Which made things easier for her to heal people with her power. After Celica healed another student, they were able to move much better than before.
"I feel a lot better now, thank you." A student told Celica in a grateful tone
"Its no problem, more Huntsmen and Huntresses are starting to show up. Make your way to the docks and get out of here as soon as you can." Celica told the student before he left
"Sister Celica, you have to go." Saya said in a pleading tone
"You can go with Minerva to safety Saya, I have to help as many people as possible. Don't worry, I will be alright." Celica told Saya in a kind yet reassuring tone
"How sweet." A male said in a confident tone. When Celica and Saya looked to see where the source of the voice came from. They saw that it was Mercury and he was accompanied by Emerald
"You know, it's a bit dangerous for you to be out here. With so many Grimm around, any unfortunate thing could happen to you." Mercury said in a tone that's a mix of sarcastic and confident
"I remember you two, your members of team CMSN. Why aren't you evacuating Beacon or fight the Grimm?" Celica asked in a concerned tone while Saya hid behind her
"Let's just say that we're keeping watch over a few things. But now that I think about it, you related to the Hero of Vale and to Ragna aren't you?" Emerald asked in a sarcastic tone as well
"I think she is, a lot of people will be after her. So how about they come with us for their own safety?" Mercury suggested while eyeing both Celica and Saya
"I have no intention of either of us going with you two." Celica told Mercury
"Running into you was just a coincidence, but coming with us would be in your best interest. With everything going on with the Kingdom and your sons. It won't be too long until you become a target." Emerald said before her and Mercury started to approach the two. Before they got too close, a pink sash was swiped in in front of Emerald and Mercury. After a brief second, Amane jumped in front of Saya and Celica
"Your leg healed awfully quickly for a fatal injury Mercury." Amane commented
"I'm a fast healer." Mercury commented
"Or a very convincing liar. So tell me, do I have you two to thank for making Ragna go berserk the way he did?" Amane asked while on guard
"That wasn't us, but putting you out of commission. We will most certainly take credit for." Mercury said in a confident tone. Before Amane could fight against Mercury and Emerald, Celica stepped up in front of Amane.
"Please stay out of this, I believe I can reach the goodness within them. Just look after Saya for me." Celica told Amane in a gentle tone
"Lady, you don't know who we are or what we're capable of. Like Emerald said, running into you was a coincidence, but there are certain actions we're not above doing." Mercury said in a confident tone
"I understand that, though to be honest I'm not intimidated by you two in the slightest. If anything I have a great deal of worry regarding you two." Celica responded in a calm tone
"Oh really, like you know anything about either of us." Emerald responded to Celica
"I see that the both of you have dealt with a lot of unpleasant experiences." Celica said before she turned her attention to Mercury
"I your eyes, I see that you have endured a lot of cruelty and hold nothing but hate for many people." Celica said before she turned to Emerald
"Within your eyes, I see a fierce loyalty that's been formed after experiencing a great deal of loneliness." Celica said before she started to speak to the both of them
"It is clear to me that the both of you have been led astray. But its not too late for you two to make things right. If you want, I can think of a way that will ensure that your all given proper help." Celica said before Emerald started to have an angry look on her face
"What do you know about the things I've been through!? You don't know anything about me!" Emerald yelled to Celica
"Your right, I don't know anything. But I do know that whoever helped you did it for their own purposes. Whoever helped you doesn't care about your well being and wants to take advantage of you. I see that you have been hurt in the past. But if you can give me a chance, I can help you two. But you have to start making things right by the people you've hurt up to this point." Celica said in a pleading tone to the two
"Oh please!" A voice yelled that quickly got everyone's attention. Before anyone could find the source. A green chain was launched and it pierced Celica's chest. After the chain was retracted, Amane was able to catch her and he proceeded to wrap his pink sash around Celica to heal her. After the attack was made, Terumi started to approach the small group with a sadistic smile. Once Minerva saw Terumi, the mechanical doll tried to attack him. But Terumi simply kicked it away with ease.
"Whatever happened to you was of no consequence to any of my plans. But then you had to make your cliché feel good speech and it got me sick to my stomach. So I just had to shut you up, and the poison from Ouroboros is the thing to do it. There is a chance you might survive. But that depends on how strong your magic is. Hahahahaha" Terumi said before he turned to look at Saya and Amane. When he saw Saya, the young girl had a horrified look on her face at the sight of Terumi.
"There are a lot of things I could do right now. But you might be useful for something, since it won't be too long until Rags finds you. I want you to tell him that Yuuki Terumi did this and if he wants to do something about it. He should get to the top of the tower to find me." Terumi said before he started to walk away while laughing
"We have to go Emerald." Mercury said before he left with Emerald
"Do you have Ragna's Scroll number?" Amane asked Saya
"Yes, but Sister Celica is . . . ." Saya started to say before Amane spoke up
"I know its hard, but I have to focus my energy on healing her as much as I can. Besides, the both of you are Ragna's family and he has to know. Call him and tell him where we are." Amane said before Saya proceeded to grab the Scroll and call Ragna to tell him where they are

First I will explain Relius's semblance in this story. His semblance is called Soul Read, Relius is able to look into an individual's soul and analyze it as if he's looking over a machine. While he does this, he will be able to know everything about the person in great detail. To paraphrase a certain scientist in a help me segment, he can go bad touch on someone's mind when he uses his semblance.
Since Blazblue states that he looks at people like objects. I figured that Soul Read is the semblance that would be a good fit for him.
Without giving too much away, Noel has the Eye of Blue which is one of the three Azures in this story. Relius used his semblance to force Noel to use the Eye of Blue to find information on certain things. I won't give away everything that Relius found while forcing Noel to use the Eye of Blue. But I can confirm that he knows who and where three of the Maidens are.
Also I will confirm that Noel is NOT DEAD, but she is in a coma. Since Relius forced her to use the Eye of Blue prematurely.
In this chapter, Bang's semblance has gotten stronger. During Bang's fight with Azrael, he used his enhanced semblance called FU-RIN-KA-ZAN LV 2. It's a major power boost to his original semblance. Which makes Bang significantly stronger, enough for him to fight the Mad Dog. The problem is that with a major boost in power, Bang also ha to worry about an increased strain on his body. When Bang uses FU-RIN-KA-ZAN LV 2, several markings will appear on his body which indicates its use.
To prevent a misunderstanding, Azrael was holding back a good deal of his strength while fighting the students. He wanted to save his strength for Ragna. Also Tenjo and Baiken will not get killed by Azrael. I know I'm jumping the gun on this one. But it will be confirmed in the next chapter that Baiken and Tenjo bought the time they needed and managed to escape Azrael. Also Tenjo is still in disguise, so when she speak, she will be addressed as Tensa.
For why Ragna lied to Weiss and Yang about Jin knowing
There is a good reason that Ragna lied saying that Jin didn't know anything. Despite in a previous chapter, Ragna told Jin that he suspects Cinder. The reason is that Ragna knows that from this point on, people won't be able to trust him again. But he doesn't think it will be fair for Jin to lose the trust in a lot of people. Since Ragna was the one who went to him for help. So Ragna's idea is that he will take the entire blame and keep Jin in the clear. Part of it is from his desire to try to mend things with his brother. But another part is that Ragna doesn't want Jin to suffer for his mistakes and decisions.
As for why Ragna fought Yang and Wiess
Yang wasn't thinking clearly due to everything that happened. Ragna lying to Yang has hurt her much more deeply than Ragna knows and she was mentally and emotionally at her limit with him. The offer to turn Nu over to General Ironwood was Yang's way of giving Ragna a chance to redeem himself.
The problem is that not only does Ragna not trust General Ironwood. But since he knows in good detail of the suffering Nu went through. He no longer could see her as a threat or a criminal. He just sees a child who was forced into a life that was not of her choosing but didn't know anything else about the world.
So when Ragna was given that offer by Yang. He was forced to choose between his personal beliefs. Or his friend and duty to the Kingdom. Ragna chose his beliefs and decided to protect Nu but he also knows that he would have to fight to protect the young girl. If Ragna sees a situation that he personally doesn't agree with. The he will deal with that situation in his own way. Which unfortunately means that he will have to fight people if there's no other way. The decision for Ragna to fight Yang was NOT EASY for Ragna in any way.
I know that this would have been the perfect time to tell Yang and Weiss that Celica and Saya were threatened by Cinder. But Ragna knows that Yang wasn't in a proper state of mind and is too emotionally blind to listen to the reason for Ragna lying. Besides, there was a chance that Yang and Weiss would have found it wrong that he's using them as an excuse for his own actions and may not even believe him given the circumstances.
What I can say before the Volume 3 portion of this story ends. Is that Cinder won't be the only character Ragna will hate with a passion.
For the fate of Celica in this story, I will keep it a mystery of whether she will be dead or alive.
Another thing I will confirm is that up to this point in the story. Nu does have experience killing people.
