(A/N) To answer a few questions I've received recently.
Hakumen was told by Jubei to stay away from Vale, while he was bringing Hakumen up to speed on everything that's been going on.
As for Tager, in a previous chapter, Kokonoe told Tager to go to Mantle for a separate assignment. While she sent Lambda to Ronin-Gai for a special assignment. Kokonoe has a better idea of what's going on than most people think. So when she saw from the White Fang's Scroll and noticed that a good number of the White Fang has plans for Beacon. She figured out the main plan.
Lie Ren's semblance will most certainly be useful against Terumi's semblance in this story. However, if Ren does that, it would leave Ren vulnerable and Terumi will be able to track him down through his aura if the fight takes too long. But if Ren uses his semblance helping someone like Jubei fight Terumi. Then it would be a different story altogether.
Ragna is capable of killing someone using just his semblance. Which is why he can't use his semblance unless his seal is removed. But he'll only removes it if he's certain that he won't kill the other person by accident. So when Ragna's fighting against a strong opponent. He knows that his semblance won't kill them. But as Ragna's semblance got stronger, he's going to have to be more cautious of who he's using his semblance against. Another thing, if Beast-Ragna, uses Aura Eater, the not only will the victim be killed. Also if Ragna uses Aura Eater to kill someone who's semblance is compatible with his aura. The that person's semblance is his to keep. Another thing to keep in mind, Ragna's killing intent also plays a major factor in his semblance being able to kill or severely injure someone.
Fair warning everyone, this chapter is going to have several intense moment. This is also the final part to the Fall of Beacon Arc for the volume 3 portion of this story.
Chapter 55 Painful Truths PT 5
(Airship crash site)
Qrow has experienced a lot of things during his years as a Huntsman. Then ever since he became part of Ozpin's inner circle. Qrow has learned a lot more than he ever thought possible. But the very events that's occurred recently, has easily surpassed what he's previously experienced. From seeing the emergence of a power that easily surpasses that of the Maidens. To learning that not only was a crucial part of history a lie. But the Black Beast has been reborn. To further add to this, moments ago, he saw Jubei fight against Yuuki Terumi. Two individuals who are the very Six Heroes from legend. Not only that, Qrow is also fighting alongside the legendary hero. There is a part of Qrow that wants to exchange stories with Jubei. Since the veteran Huntsman suspects that Jubei has a good grasp of what's going on.
After the group of veteran warriors made quick work of the nearby Grimm. General Ironwood entered the airship to get to the control panels to shut down his mechs. While he was inside, several Ursa Grimm appeared and tried to attack the group. Jubei moved in a blinding speed and made quick work of the Grimm that were in his path. Once Qrow noticed that he was near several Grimm. He quickly cut them down with Harbinger in its sword form. Glynda used her semblance to lift several Beowolf Grimm up from the ground and quickly slammed them down to the ground and was able to quickly kill them. Unfortunately, a Beowolf Grimm tried to do a sneak attack on Glynda while she was distracted. Before the Beowolf could land its attack, General Ironwood shot the Grimm and it quickly died as a result.
"I've done the manual shutdown of all my mechs in Vale and sent out a signal for reinforcements. I don't know how long it'll before help arrives. But once we do what we can here I will have to go and inform the council." General Ironwood told the group.
"Then I will get going as well, with Terumi involved anything could happen and I best not linger around too long." Jubei said before he made a motion to leave. Before Jubei went too far, General Ironwood stopped him from going further
"Wait Jubei, now that we have a chance to take a breather. W can finally have a quick discussion. Preferably about how you know Oz, and also how you know about Salem." General Ironwood told Jubei
"With everything going on, is this really the time for this?" Qrow asked
"For as long as we've been part of this inner circle. There has been no mention of Ozpin knowing Jubei. I know that he's one of the Six Heroes. But you can't expect me to stand idly by and pretend that this is normal." General Ironwood said defending his his questioning
"Fair enough, since your all part of Ozpin's inner circle and that your all risking you're lives. It's only fair that I tell you guys of my connection to the headmaster. For starters, the reason that Ozpin didn't mention me to any of you guys is simply because I told him not to. I don't have the time to give you the full story. But lets just say that I've made some interesting enemies over the years and the less people that know of me the better." Jubei responded to Ironwood
"Then how long have you been in contact with Ozpin?" General Ironwood asked
"For a couple of years by now. With Terumi running loose, I figured that I should touch base with someone who's well-versed in things that the general population doesn't know about. I learned about Salem on my own, finding someone who's been in conflict with her was a real challenge. Eventually I came across Ozpin and the both of us kept each other informed." Jubei explained to the General with the other two listening
"Then why is it that you were fighting Terumi? He's one of the Six Heroes like you, the both of you should be working together." Qrow told Jubei
"That's another long story, but to give you the short version. Terumi betrayed all of us and needless to say it made things a lot harder for everyone. You see he . . . ." Jubei said before the group heard a loud roar. When they all looked to see the source of the roar. They see a Grimm Wyvern heading to the top of Beacon. As it was flying, large doses of liquids dropped from its body and the Grimm was formed from the liquid drops.
"Its heading towards the school, we have to go there now." Qrow said before he left
"I agree, we're going to have to deal with the Q and A later General." Jubei responded before he left as well
"I'll go and get as much as I can. Hopefully the students and civilians were able to get away from Beacon and get to the safe zone." Glynda told the General
"I'll get as many of my soldiers as I can and drive out the Grimm. Hopefully we can stabilize the situation long enough for us to figure out what the next plan is." General Ironwood told Glynda before the two went their way
(Beacon Docks)
After Makoto saved Jin from Adam, the both of them started to make their way to the docks. The two students were very exhausted and were running on fumes. Despite the Grimm trying to attack the two at every turn. The two team members fought helped each other fight off the Grimm. Every time one of them got close, Makoto would deliver a strong punch to the Grimm and knocked them back. For the Grimm that would approach them from afar. Jin would use his semblance to blast several ice shards at them.
It took the two a good deal of time to get to the docks. But once they arrived, they were greeted by a concerning sight. They both saw a lot of their friends gathered at the docks and each of them look exhausted. Some look injured while others look defeated. But when they looked further. They saw Jaune with a tearful look on his face. When they looked further, they realized the reason and it was Noel. She was laying down being looked at by several medics.
"NOEL!" Makoto yelled in a concerned tone after seeing Noel. Once she saw her friend, she ran to her friend's side, but realizes that she couldn't get too close.
"What happened to her?" Makoto yelled in a worried tone
"She was attacked, but we're still inspecting her. But we don't see any visible injuries on her body. More than likely something happened with her aura and it affected her deeply. We'll do what we can but with us having to tend to so many other people. I'm afraid that if she's not in a hospital with the proper supplies and equipment. Then we won't be able to improve her condition." One of the medics told Makoto causing her to have a more worried expression on her face.
"YOU HAVE TO DO MORE FOR HER! Please, she's my friend and I can't bare to see her like this." Makoto pleaded to the medics
"I'm sorry, we don't know what else to tell you but we'll do all we can." The medic said before she went back to tend to Noel
"How did this happen?" Makoto said in a worried tone
"I'm sorry Makoto." Jaune told Makoto in a disheartened tone with tears in his eyes getting her attention
"What do you mean Jaune?" Makoto asked
"Me and Noel went looking for Pyrrha after she ran off. But not too long after we left, a masked man came and attacked us. I tried to stop him, but he . . . . ." Jaune said before hi eyes were filled with tears and Makoto started to approach him
WHAT DID HE DO JAUNE?!" Makoto asked angrily
"I don't know, he just grabbed her haed and did something. If it wasn't for Cardin and Dr. Oobleck. We would have died. I'm sorry Makoto, I wasn't strong enough to protect her." Jaune said with tears in his eyes
"Makoto, from what the medics were able to see. Noel is still alive but she's in a coma. Do not be angry at Jaune, the fault is my own for not arriving on time to help them." Dr. Oobleck said to Makoto
"No, not Noel." Makoto said before she started to cry along with Jaune
"Where is sister Celica and Saya." Jin asked after looking around for a few seconds. When Jaune noticed the question, he started to tear up even more. When Ren noticed this, he started to speak up
"Her and Saya ran off with that mechanical doll. Sister Celica wanted to help as many people as she can." Ren answered causing Jin to get angry
"So you just let them go off on their own like that?! What were you thinking?!" Jin asked causing Jaune and some of the other students to have a guilty look on their faces
"Jin, we already had our hands full dealing with threats from all sides. We weren't in any condition to protect two people who could barely fight. We thought that she would at least be able to get to safety." Nora told Jin causing him to give her a cold glare
"You wouldn't have done that so easily if it was your family that needed to be protected." Jin harshly responded to her
"If you were so concerned about those two. Then maybe you should have stayed and made sure they were protected." Nora responded causing Jin to give her an even more intense glare
"What did you just say?" Jin asked Nora in an angry tone
"You heard me, or did you think you were too high and mighty to accept criticism Hero of Vale." Nora responded causing Jin to speak further
"So your saying I shouldn't have trusted any of you? How can you call yourself a huntress if you can't even protect a single life that you've been entrusted to save? Or are you going to use that excuse when people die under your watch!" Jin asked causing Nora to have a small look of guilt. Before anyone said anything, Jaune spoke up
"Jin, you trusted me to help protect them and I couldn't do that. I think the person you should really be mad at is me." Jaune said causing Jin to think for a second before he started to angrily approach him. As Jin was getting closer, some of the students got in the way to stop him.
"Jin calm down." Makoto said trying to stop him from getting closer
"Its not his fault Jin!" Sun said as well trying to explain the situation to Jin
"Like all of us, sister Celica is determined to help people. You couldn't expect Jaune to stop her by force." Yatsuhashi told Jin succeeding in calming him down.
"Your right, I'm going back for them. I should never have trusted any of you to look after them." Jin said before he motioned to go back to Beacon
"Jin, Beacon is overrun by Grimm, there's no way you can find them in your current condition." Bullet told Jin
"That's doesn't matter, I won't ever forgive myself if I leave them to die when I'm able to do something." Jin said before he left to go back to look for Celica and Saya.
"I'm so sorry for being weak. I should have done more than this." Jaune muttered with tears in his eyes. Before he could say anything further, Makoto placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Jaune, its not your fault. The person who hurt Noel like this, he's the one to blame." Makoto said trying to reassure Jaune
"He shouldn't have left like that, he'll only get himself killed." Coco said in a tired tone
"Any one of us would have left if it was someone we cared about." Kagura said before Jaune stood up and started to go back to the school
"Jaune where are you going?" Nora asked in a worried tone
"I'm not going to let him go back alone. I'm going to go and watch his back. Besides, Pyrrha is still out there and I have to make sure to bring her back." Jaune said causing Ren to stand despite struggling to do so
"We'll go with you, we have to . . . . ugh." Ren said before he dropped to a knee
"I'll be fine, I still have a good amount of aura left and I'm not as exhausted. I'll come back with both Pyrrha and Jin." Jaune said before he left to go back to Beacon. As all of this was going on, Blake was watching everything with a guilty look on her face
"I'm so sorry everyone, I should have done more to stop the White Fang. All of this wouldn't have happened if I had done more." Blake muttered before she started to get away from everyone. As Blake was running off, Sun noticed her and decided to follow her.
(Moments Later)
A few minutes after Jaune left the docks. He found himself fighting against the Grimm while trying to make his way to the school. What drives Jaune to get bring his friends back is both a resolve to not leave anyone behind. But another thing is guilt for failing. Jaune feels guilty for failing to protect Noel from that masked man. All this time he spent training at Beacon and he failed to protect his girlfriend. From a clear and present threat to them. Anothr thing that he's feeling guilty about is not stopping Celica and Saya from going off on their own.
It is true that they had the mechanical doll to protect them. But Jaune was asked by Jin to look out for those two. By the very person that has slowly warmed up to him. Making matters worse is that he still hasn't heard from Pyrrha, ever sine she ran off on her own with Professor Ozpin. Though there are some people reassuring him that what happened to them is not his fault. Jaune still felt responsible and is determined to bring everyone back alive and well. As Jin was getting closer to Beacon, his Scroll started to ring and when he saw that it was Pyrrha he answered.
"Jaune." Pyrrha said in a worried tone
"Pyrrha! I'm so glad to hear from you!" Jaune said in an excited tone
"Jaune, are you OK. Tell me what happened." Pyrrha said in a worried tone
"A lot has happened Pyrrha, after you left with Professor Ozpin we were attacked by the Grimm. Me and Noel left to get you but a man in a mask attacked us and did something to her. Noel is in a coma and all of us are at the docks. Tell me where you are so I can come and get you. I'm not going to leave anyone behind." Jaune told Pyrrha causing the red-haired girl to silent for a second
"Jaune, when I was with the Professor, a few things happened. I don't have to time to tell you the full story. But everyone in the world is in more danger than any of us can believe." Pyrrha told Jaune in a calm yet worried tone
"Just tell me where you are Pyrrha. You can tell me when we meet up together." Jaune told Pyrrha in a pleading tone
"Jaune, one of the members of team CMSN, Cinder is a threat to everyone. I know she's going to the top of the tower and I have to stop her with everything I can." Pyrrha told Jaune in a somber tone
"Pyrrha what are you saying!? just wait for me and we can try to figure this out together." Jaune told Pyrrha over the call in a pleading tone
"Jaune, if I don't make it back. I want you to know that meeting you, is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. You and my team has always been very important to me. No matter what happens, I want you to live a happy and fulfilling life. Continue being the best person that I know you are. Goodbye Jaune, I will always love you." Pyrrha said before she hung up the Scroll
"PYRRHA, COME ON PYRRHA! I'M NOT LEAVING ANYONE BEHIND! JUST TELL ME WHERE YOU ARE!" Jaune yelled while crying as he was trying to call Pyrrha, only for the call to not go through.
"No, come on Pyrrha, you shouldn't have to go out on your own." Jaune said in tears
(Beacon grounds)
It wasn't easy for Ruby to get back to Beacon. But thanks to the flying Grimm and another weapons locker. Ruby was able to get back to Beacon grounds, despite the process taking longer than she expected. As Ruby was going through the area, she found herself dealing with Grimm with her weapon. After a few moments, Ruby was able to notice a familiar figure at a distance. When Ruby looked further she saw her teammate Weiss. But when she has gotten a better look. She was greeted by a worrying sight. She sees Weiss, carrying her sister Yang. But what makes things concerning, is that Yang has lost an arm. Once she noticed this, Ruby used her semblance to get to the two as quickly as she could. Once she got to the two, she had a worried look on her face.
"Wha . . . what happened?" Ruby asked in a worried tone
"Ruby, are you . . ." Weiss tried to ask before Ruby cut her off
"I'm fine Weiss, but what happened to you two? How did Yang lose an arm?" Ruby asked in a worried tone
"A girl Ragna tried to help cut off Yang's arm. We gave him a choice and he chose himself." Weiss answered causing Ruby to have a shocked look on her face
"But . . . . why would Ragna . . ." Ruby said before Weiss's scroll started to ring before she answered, she saw that it was Jaune.
"Weiss, please tell me your near the school?" Jaune asked in a worried tone
"Me and Ruby are, but what's going on?" Weiss asked
"Please find Pyrrha, she said that everyone was in danger and I'm afraid that she's going to do something dangerous. She's going to the top of the tower, you have to stop her please! Noel is in a coma because of a masked man, Jin's family is as good as gone. I can't bare to lose anyone else please." Jaune pleaded over the call
"Jaune what about you? Just tell us where you are and we'll come help you." Weiss said over the call
"DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME! MY LIFE DOESN'T MATTER JUST FIND HER!" Jaune yelled over the scroll
"Don't worry we'll help her. but tell us where you are so we can help you." Weiss said before Jaune yelled before he hung up
"Jaune, JAUNE!" Weiss yelled over the scroll but to no avail
"Do you have an idea to get to the top of the tower?" Ruby asked
"I do, but we need to figure out how to bring Yang to the docks." Weiss said before a Beowolf Grimm tried to attack the two. Before it got close, a strong rifle shot pierced the Grimm's neck and it dissipated at the well-aimed shot. When the girls looked to see who helped them. They saw that it was Baiken and she quickly approached the girls
"Thanks for helping us Baiken." Ruby said in a grateful tone. Before anyone could say anything further. Baiken noticed Yang and the condition she's in.
"What happened to her?" Baiken asked in a slightly worried tone
"It's complicated, but we need help bringing Yang to the docks. Can you help us Baiken? Once I use my semblance to bring Ruby to the top of the tower. My aura will be almost gone." Weiss briefly explained Baiken
"Its worse than you girls think, the infamous Mad Dog Azrael is here at Beacon." Baiken said causing the girls to have a horrified look on their faces
"Azrael is here?" Ruby said in a surprised tone
"Ho got bored fighting me and my ally. But its only a matter of time before we run into him again. I'll help bring your teammate to the docks where she can get treatment. But we have to go now." Baiken explained to the girls
"Baiken, our friend is up there at the top of the tower. We know that its dangerous, but we can't just leave without trying to do something." Ruby briefly explained things to Baiken
"Can't leave behind your friends huh? Alright, do what you have to do. I'll bring her to the docks to get treatment." Baiken said before she grabbed Yang and started to leave
"Weiss, once I get to the tower. Get back to the docks and leave. I don't want you to be in anymore danger like this. I know your close to your limit so just bring me to the top and leave." Ruby told Weiss
"Only if you promise that we'll see each other after this. I don't anything to happen to you either." Weiss told Ruby
"Don't worry Weiss, you know we'll see each other again." Ruby said before the two started to get closer to Beacon
(Beacon)
Anger and worry is what's occupying Ragna's mind as he was running to get to his intended destination. Receiving a call from Saya was a surprise after everything that happened with him moments before. But the news that Saya told him has filled him with the aforementioned emotions. The news that Celica was hurt by a strange assailant has angered Ragna greatly. It was fortunate that Amane was there and is tending to Celica. But the fact that she was hurt and Saya was in even more danger din nothing to put his mind at ease. It was already bad enough that Cinder has established the events that put his family in danger in the first place. But anyone who would dare to attack the ones he love. Would know true despair once he's done with them. When Ragna arrived, he saw that his fears has come true. Saya is kneeling down to Celica crying for her to get better. While Amane was using his sash and enveloped Celica with a glow. Once Ragna regained his composure, he started to make his way to the small group and he's gotten Saya's and Amane's attention. When Ragna got close, Saya gave him a huge hug.
"I'm so glad that your back Ragna." Saya told Ragna before he started to approach Celica. When he looked at her, he maintained a shocked look that was clear on his face at her condition. Celica had her eyes closed and she hasn't moved a bit. It is clear to Ragna that Amane is doing everything he can to help her. But Celica being in a weakened state with no indication as to whether she was dead or alive angered Ragna as well as worried him.
"What happened?" Ragna asked trying to stay calm as much as possible despite his rising anger
"Ragna, I'll tell you but you need to stay calm and . . . ." Amane said before Ragna became enraged
"TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED! TELL ME WHO DID THIS SO I CAN KILL THEM!" Ragna yelled causing Amane to take a deep breath
"Celica came across Emerald and Mercury and tried to convince them to turn over a new leaf. But before any of us realized it, a tall slender man wearing a yellow cloak and a hood came and attacked her with a chain. From the way he talks, it sounds like he knows you." Amane told Ragna causing him to have an angry look on his face
"A tall slender man with a yellow coat. Wait a second." Ragna thought to himself before he remembered seeing a man of that description standing besides Nu before his power went berserk the way it did. After Ragna had his thought, he became more enraged at the fact that the same person that made his power go berserk the way it did. Is the same person that dared to hurt Celica
"I want the name of the bastard who did this. GIVE ME A NAME AMANE." Ragna said in a very demanding tone which scared Saya who was standing nearby
"He said that his name is Yuuki Terumi and he also says that if you want to do something about it. Go to the top of the tower since he'll be there." Amane told Ragna
"The tower, if he's there then Cinder is probably there as well. I'll make them both pay." Ragna said before he felt someone grab his hand. When he looked to see who it was. He saw that it was Celica, barely able to regain her consciousness
"Ragna." Celica said very weakly quickly getting everyone's attention
"Sister Celica!" Ragna said in a relieved tone, but what made Ragna worried is that Celica's voice sounds significantly weakened.
"Just take it easy sister Celica. Amane is doing everything he can to make sure your healed. Once he's done, you'll be good as new." Ragna said despite his voice having a mix of panic and worry for his motherly figure
"You, Jin, and Saya are very important to me. I'm glad that you all have accepted me to be a part of your family. My only regret is that we didn't have more time together as a family. But the time we all spent together and the memories we all have together. I will forever cherish them because they are precious to me. You three are my family and I love you all. . . . with all my heart." Celica said before she started to lose consciousness and Saya started to cry
"CELICA! WAKE UP CELICA!" Ragna yelled but he got no response from her. After Ragna yelled Amane checked her pulse and breathed a sigh of relief when he felt a heartbeat
"Ragna, she is still alive. Her heartbeat is faint and weak, but she's still alive." Amane causing Saya to have a relieved look on her face
"Heal her Amane, I don't want you to stop until she wakes up." Ragna said holding in as much anger as he can
"Ragna, I'll do what I can for her, but my healing abilities have limits. I can't do anything more for her than this." Amane told Ragna before he grabbed Amane by his robe and lifted him up
"Tell me you know of a way to wake her up. I wasn't here to protect her, I couldn't prevent any of this. Please, tell me you know how she can be healed. She's my family and I can't bare to lose anyone." Ragna told Amane in a pleading tone
"I'm sorry but the best thing I can do is make sure that nothing happens to her body. The fact that she's alive is nothing short of a blessing." Amane briefly explained to Ragna in a calm tone causing the white-haired student to take a deep breath and stand up
"Amane, take Sister Celica and Saya to a safe place from here. I'm going to get the bastards that did all of this. Now I know the identity of the bastard that hurt her and I'm going to make him pay. But I'm only going to tell you this once. Nothing better happen to them." Ragna told Amane with a tone full of anger and worry
"Don't worry Ragna, I know how much your family means to you. You have my word, I will see to it personally that I bring them to safety." Amane said reassuring Ragna causing the white-haired student to start walking towards Beacon. Only for his sleeve to be grabbed by Saya
"Ragna, where are you going? I don't want to lose you too." Saya said with tears in her eyes
"Saya, I know who's responsible for all of this. The ones who caused all of this and the bastard that hurt sister Celica. I don't have it in my heart to forgive them. Where I'm going, I don't know if I'll survive. Since Terumi wanted you to tell me it was him. He's likely expecting me, and I can't let him get away with this. If you don't ever see me again after this, I want you to take care of sister Celica. When she wakes up, I want her to have a smile on her face. As for Jin, don't forget that he's your older brother as well. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to ask him. He's more of a hero than I am. Goodbye Saya, live a long and fulfilling life and don't make the mistakes I've made." Ragna said before he left while Saya had tears in her eyes once again.
Once Ragna was further away, he saw Amane take Saya and a comatose Celica away from Beacon. With the intent to bring them to safety. Once Ragna was sure that was separated from everyone, he started to walk slowly contemplating everything that has happened. With his power going berserk and him killing a lot of people including Penny. To a lot of people, wanting him dead. Even being unable to help Nu knowing the true horrors she went through for the majority of her life. But the worst part about all of this, is that not only has his secrecy has hurt Yang. Who has proven to be a very dear friend to him. But the very thing he tried hard to prevent. Which is to prevent his own family from getting hurt. Has occurred and he wasn't there to protect them or prevent it.
As Ragna was walking, he was releasing a great deal of negativity that managed to attract the nearby Grimm. The moment the Grimm got close to him, they felt an emotion was unheard of for the Grimm to feel. The emotion is fear and the sight of Ragna is enough to invoke that fear. For the Grimm that were more guided by instincts, they tried to attack Ragna by leaping toward him. But the moment they got close, Ragna killed them with a single swing of his sword.
More and more Grimm tried to attack Ragna. But they were all met by the same outcome as Ragna effortlessly killed them. While paying them no attention or thought. Though upon a closer look on Ragna's face, tears were running down his cheeks. Ragna is not one to shed tears, but the pain of his family getting hurt, especially sister Celica who is truly good person. Is an exception that Ragna is more than willing to make. As Ragna continued to walk, an explosion was made and when he looked at the source. He saw that the explosion came from the tower.
"Cinder, and Terumi, those two are likely together at the top of the tower. I will make those two pay for everything they've done, they will not get away with this." Ragna muttered while he dried his tears and looked at the top of the tower with a new sense of resolve.
"How do I get up there?" Ragna asked before he heard more Grimm coming. Before Ragna could kill them, a familiar silver mechanical doll appeared and destroyed the Grimm. When Ragna looked, he saw that it was Minerva. But she looked significantly injured
"I don't know if you can understand me. But if you can, I need you to take me to the top of the tower. After that go and help protect Sister Celica and my sister Saya." Ragna said causing Minerva to go into flight mode. Once Minerva changed forms, Ragna held on to one of its handles and Minerva started to fly upward to the sky at an intense speed.

To protect the world even at the cost of their life. That is what it means to be a Huntress and Pyrrha has followed that to the best of her abilities at this very moment. For the past few minutes, Pyrrha has been fighting valiantly against Cinder, despite the new power she has recently obtained. For a few minutes, Pyrrha held her own. But when Cinder started to use her ill-gotten power. The difference between the two became clear, indicated by the powerful burst of power that was caused by Cinder and destroyed a good portion of the tower.
Despite being significantly hurt, Pyrrha did not allow this show of raw power to stop her determination. What helped Pyrrha stay determined to confront the threat is that she has no lingering regrets within her heart. Knowing that she told Jaune how she felt about him and that she is fighting for a chance to protect the world.
Once Cinder's eyes glowed, she proceeded to fire several fireballs at Pyrrha. Reacting quickly, Pyrrha used her semblance to regain her shield and moved around the area to avoid the fireballs. Unfortunately, Cinder's attacks was too fast and aggressive and after a few seconds. One of Cinder's fireballs managed to catch up to Pyrrha. Fortunately, Pyrrha was able to use her shield to withstand the fire blast and for a few seconds, she was able to hold her ground.
After Pyrrha held her ground, she threw her shield at Cinder. Though once the shield reached Cinder, she deflected it with relative ease. But after the shield was deflected, she noticed that the gears that was within the tower was floating and she realized what Pyrrha's plan was. Before Cinder could do anything, Pyrrha used her semblance to attack Cinder with the controlled gears. For a few minutes, Cinder was getting knocked around faster than she could react and after getting knocked around a bit more. She found herself getting knocked to the ground by the gears. Once Cinder was down, Pyrrha used a good portion of her remaining strength to pile the gears on top of Cinder with the hopes to keep her down.
Unfortunately, what happened next dashed away any hopes Pyrrha had at subduing Cinder. Because a brief second after being pinned down by gears, Cinder generated a good deal of energy and caused a fiery explosion that destroyed the gears and knocked back Pyrrha. The knockback Pyrrha endured was strong enough to cause her aura to flicker. Indicating that it was very close to breaking. But Pyrrha wouldn't give up and she opted to regain her shield and threw it at Cinder once again. This time though, Cinder summoned her bow and fired an arrow at Pyrrha while in the pathway of the shield. Before reaching the shield, the arrow disintegrated briefly to bypass the shield and regained its form. Once the arrow regained its form. It was able to strike Pyrrha's heel, hurting her greatly.
As a result of the injury, Pyrrha was unable to stand. She did the best she could to make herself stand up. But the limits of her body, and her weakened aura started to catch up to her. After failing to stand one more time. Cinder started to slowly approach her, with a confident look on her face.
"It's unfortunate that you were promised a power that was never truly yours. But take comfort in knowing that I will make use of it in ways you can't possibly imagine." Cinder told Pyrrha in a confident tone
"Now that is something I would very much like to see." A male voice said getting Cinder and Pyrrha's attention. When they looked to see who spoke, they saw that it was Terumi with a smirk on his face.
"Judging from the expression on your face. Can I assume that you enjoyed our little show?" Cinder asked while glowing her eyes at him
"Not bad, pretty decent by my standards. I'd give that fight between you two a 6 out of 10, too much metal." Terumi said before giving a light chuckle. After Terumi made his statement, Cinder proceeded to draw her bow and aim it at Pyrrha's chest in point blank range. After the arrow was drawn, Cinder released the arrow and it was fired. But before the arrow could hit Pyrrha, Terumi grabbed it and broke it with a grip.
"Don't tell me your doing this because you feel sorry her." Cinder said in a scolding tone
"She's a known champion who fought valiantly for her Kingdom. It wouldn't be right for someone of her reputation to die in such an empty fashion. At the very least, she's earned the right to have more people witness her death. Something we'll be getting very soon." Terumi said with a smirk on his face before Ruby was able to get to the top of the tower. Once Ruby made it to the top, she immediately armed herself with Crescent Rose and looked to find her friend.
"PYRRHA!" Ruby yelled before she used her semblance to get to her friend. Before Ruby got too close, Terumi proceeded to dash kick Ruby and managed to stop her from using her semblance. Ruby tried to counter attack with her scythe attacks. But Terumi effortlessly parried the attacks and after a few seconds. He managed to jump on top of Ruby's weapon and delivered a swift kick which knocked her to the side. After getting kicked to the side, Ruby was able to quickly recover and resumed her guard.
"Who are you and why are you doing this?" Ruby asked while pointing at Terumi while keeping an eye on Cinder who was watching the whole thing
"Is this enough people for you Terumi?" Cinder asked causing Ruby to have a shocked look on her face
"Terumi, the same Terumi that's one of the Six Heroes?" Ruby asked unable to hide the surprise in her voice and tone
"One and the same, you have a disgusting cat smell on you. So I assume that you've met Jubei. I also smell an obnoxious amount of tea on you. So you likely came across Valkenhayn." Terumi told Ruby with a disgruntled look on his face
"Your one of the Six Heroes who protected Remnant from the Beast. Why aren't you fighting alongside us or stopping Cinder?" Ruby asked Terumi trying to stay calm
"My reasons are my own kid. But I do admit that I get a kick out of seeing everyone in despair thanks to everything that happened." Terumi told a shocked Ruby before he turned to Cinder
"To answer your question Cinder, we have one more person coming and he should be arriving any second now." Terumi said before him and Cinder saw a silver metallic figure flying in the sky and another figure diving towards them. As the second figure got closer, they heard a familiar voice and saw a familiar individual
"GGGGGGYYYYYYYAAAAAAA!" Ragna yelled as he was diving towards the tower and proceeded to make a powerful attack at both of his targets. Once Ragna made his attack, Terumi took out one of his knives and was able to parry Ragna's attack with ease. After his attack was parried, Ragna jumped back and took up a fighting stance while looking angrily at Cinder and Terumi. When he took a quick glance around the area, he saw Ruby who was surprised to see him and Pyrrha who shared in the surprised look as well.
"I got you message you son of a bitch. I saw what you did to Sister Celica and I'm going to make you pay." Ragna said angrily before he turned to look at Cinder
"Don't think for a second that I forgot about you Cinder. I warned you that if you do anything to put my family in danger, then nothing in the world will protect you from me." Ragna told Cinder in an angry tone as well before he started to attack Terumi
Once Ragna started to swing his sword, Terumi started to laugh and dodge Ragna's attacks with relative ease. After dodging a few more of Ragna's sword attacks, Terumi managed to kick Ragna away. But after doing so, he quickly turned to parry Ruby's scythe attacks while laughing at the same time. After dodging a few more of Ruby's attacks, Terumi kicked Ruby away as well and quickly dodged Ragna's attacks. Once Terumi spent a few seconds dodging Ragna's attacks. Ruby joined in as well and tried to attack the sadistic man. After a few seconds were spent dodging the attacks. Terumi kick sweep Ruby and Ragna and kicked them away as he was recovering. After the two were kicked away, Pyrrha tried to attack him with her shield. But Terumi simply sidestepped out of the way and pushed Pyrrha down.
"I thought I would be impressed with each of your skills. But the truth is . . . I'm not. I admit each of you have some wins under your belt. But all this time, you've been fighting nothing but amateurs. Well amateur hour is over, your up against a pro." Terumi said gleefully to the fallen students
"RESTRICTION RELEASE!" Ragna yelled before he started to swing his sword directly at Terumi. Only for the green-haired man to catch it with his bare hands with little effort.
"I'm very disappointed in you Rags. All this time being trained by that cat. I thought you would have at least been able to put up a halfway decent fight. I even went as far as to her you mommy figure to get you properly motivated. But you still managed to disappoint me." Terumi said gleefully causing Ragna to get angrier.
Before Ragna could do anything, Terumi pushed Ragna back a small distance and proceeded to grab one of his butterfly knives. Once he grabbed his knife, he proceeded to quickly and rapidly slash Ragna all over his body in an intense speed. As Terumi was slashing Ragna, both Ruby and Pyrrha were stunned at the sheer brutality that Terumi is unleashing on Ragna. While Cinder on the other hand was impressed at the display of skill and power by Terumi. By the time Terumi was finished, Ragna is covered in bloody cuts and after a brief second, he fell down.
"Well despite how underwhelming all of this was. I have to admit that I was a bit entertained." Terumi said with a smirk on his face
"How could you be doing this to everyone Terumi? People are getting killed and they need all of our help. Your one of the Six Heroes, the people look up to you and the others." Ruby told Terumi in a pleading tone
"I wasn't really invested in that business with the Black Beast. If anything, I was indifferent to the entire thing. But there was something about it that I had to look in to. Which is why I was the one who caused Ragna's power to go berserk the way it did." Terumi said which surprised Ruby and Pyrrha but angered Ragna further
"I knew it, before I lost control, I saw Nu with someone and I had a feeling it was you. When Saya told me your description before you attacked Sister Celica. You're the reason everyone wants me dead. You're the bastard that abducted Nu from those labs." Ragna said as he was struggling to stand
"Guilty as charged, judging from that angry look on your face. I assume you managed to learn what her life was like. All those awful people who wanted to create the ultimate weapon. Guess they got more than what they bargained for with her. I'm no saint, but if you were a victim of the Murakumo Labs. You would hate the world just as much as Nu does. The visions of you was the only thing that allowed her to endure such torment. But when the visions stopped, her hope turned into despair. From that despair, grew a strong hate for the world because they allowed her suffering. You should be thanking me Rags, I helped her and gave her the chance to get her revenge and be united with you." Terumi explained causing Ruby and Pyrrha to have an even more shocked look on their face with bits of confusion
"You didn't help Nu, you took advantage of her. Your going to pay for all the lives you've ruined Terumi." Ragna said as he was standing up with a good deal of strength and rage.
"I'm not surprised you feel this way Ragna. After all, its only natural for an older brother to want to save his younger sister." Terumi said which shocked everyone including Cinder
"What?" Ragna said in a confused tone
"Didn't you understand me, Nu is your little sister. Of course she doesn't know this, because she was separated from her other siblings before any of you could remember. But she's not your only long lost relative. But why spoil things even further? After all, your just trying to save Nu just to make up for your spectacular failure to protect your brother Jin after putting him in danger when you were kids. HAHAHAHAHA!" Terumi explained which enraged Ragna
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Ragna yelled at Terumi before he tried to attack him.
"WHY DON'T YOU JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN FOR ONCE!" Terumi said before he quickly pulled out his knife and moved passed Ragna. After a brief second, Ragna's right arm flew off his body and Ragna proceeded to fall. While still remaining conscious
"AAAAAAAAAUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH!" Ragna yelled while in excruciating pain and at the loss of his right arm.
"Ragna!" Ruby yelled before she tried to go and help Ragna. Only for Terumi to simply kick her away
"You know, there is a part of me that has a respect for those that are persistent. So I think all of you deserve a reward along with some praise." Terumi said causing Ruby to give him a glare
"We don't need praise from a monster like you. The Kingdoms will stand united and fight evil people like you. You can bring us down, but we will never give up!" Ruby said to Terumi with a bold glare. Though after a brief moment, Terumi started to laugh.
"HEHEHEHEHE HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Terumi laughed wildly at Ruby which shocked Pyrrha and Cinder
"What's so fumny?!" Ruby asked in an angry tone
"How could I not laugh at what you said? I mean you're so naïve and ignorant its downright funny. You know what, I know what all of you should be rewarded with and it is the truth. No doubt your all wondering about the name of the Black Beast right. Well that is only the tip of the iceberg of lies and deceit that history has told all of you for many years." Terumi said before he continued to explain
"For starters, I've heard a lot about how mysterious Aura Weapons are and how there are books that talks about them. First true fact, those history buffs got the name wrong. The weapons of legend aren't called Aura Weapons. There real names are the Nox Nyctores." Terumi said which surprised everyone nearby
"Nox Nyctores, does that mean that we've been lied to again?" Pyrrha asked surprised at what she's learned
"Ding ding, correct answer from the renown Champion. As for the ones who came up with that name. It was the old Kingdoms that did it. Oh they had a good reason for lying about the name. But that detail will be revealed really soon. I still have to get to the important details first." Terumi said gleefully before he continued
"Next is that the Kingdoms were warned about the Black Beast a couple of years before it emerged. Unfortunately, this was during the time of the Great War. So a Beast that can threaten the world would be tough sell and the timing made it worse." Terumi said before he turned to Ruby
"Now pay attention little girl, because the next part is about that statement you made about the Kingdoms being United." Terumi said before he continued his explanation
"Once the Black Beast emerged, the Kingdoms were f course terrified. But they were divided in how to deal with it. Two of the Kingdoms wanted to kill the Black Beast. While the other two wanted to find a way to control it. The attempt to control the Black Beast was what led to the Beast Wall tactic." Terumi said which shocked everyone
"But, the history books said . . . ." Ruby said before Terumi spoke quickly and cut her off
"Wrong, the Kingdoms made that the official story just to save face. They figured that it would be better to be hated by the Faunus than by half the world." Terumi said before he focused his attention on everyone
"Now as for us Six Heroes, the Kingdoms were against us from the very start. Nine was the only one that worked hard to find a way to fight the Beast. But the little support made things much harder. In fact, each of us had our own reason for fighting the Black Beast and we weren't exactly buddy buddy. But are you all ready for what happened after the Black Beast died. Why is it, that the ones who are alive like Jubei has to be in hiding?" Terumi asked before he continued
"Its because after we dealt with the Black Beast. Most of the Kingdoms tried to kill us when they had the chance." Terumi said which surprised everyone
"No." Ruby said with a visible and disheartened shocked look on her face
"You see, the reason the Kingdoms went after us is that the ones in charge were afraid that we would be a threat to their credibility and authority. While ignoring the fact that its not anything close to what we wanted. But when they figured out that we may have survived, they decided to save face and cover tracks as much as possible. Now to be fair, not everyone in a position of power wanted us dead. But the ones that did had too much influence and fighting them could be a problem in the long run. So the ones with influence changed the names to make it look like the Kingdoms had things under control. They changed the name of the Black Beast to the Aura Beast and the name of the Nox Nyctores to the Aura Weapons. Also they left out certain details of how several influential people wanted us dead. While making it look like that we were all united." Terumi explained to everyone who were all shocked at everything they've learned. Once Terumi explained, he turned towards Ragna
"Now this next part concerns your sister Ragna. The Kingdoms were paranoid of us, but they also wanted to learn how to make the Nox Nyctores as well. So they decided to use every resource they could to locate one of Nine's Workshops. Once they located it, they stole as many of her notes as they could. It wasn't enough for them to recreate the Nox Nyctores. But they had enough to jumpstart another project. With the sole purpose of creating the ultimate weapon that surpasses the Black Beast itself. The project became named project Murakumo. Which led to the creation of the Murakumo Labs." Terumi explained which shocked Ragna despite the pain he was enduring
After hearing everything from Terumi, the physical embodiment of evil. Ruby wanted to yell and deny everything. But there is a part of her that suspected what he said to be true. Knowing that a large portion of history has been a lie to make the Kingdoms look good has disheartened Ruby. But when she knew that there are a lot of people in the world that needs help. People that are defenseless and need defenders to stand up and defend. Ruby's resolve strengthened and she stood up, giving Terumi a strong glare while her silver eyes briefly flashed.
"I don't care that our history has been a lie. I don't care that those in power will destroy lives just for their own benefit. I don't care that you take pleasure in spreading pain and suffering. What I do care about, is that I will fight people like you. I will not back down, and I will never give up." Ruby said before her silver eyes released a powerful bright light
WHAT!" Cinder yelled at the sight of Ruby's power. Before Cinder was engulfed in the silver light. Terumi kicked Ruby across her face and stopped the powerful flash of silver light. After Ruby was kicked, Terumi started to approach her with a sinister smirk
"I saw that light show back at the arena. Its useless against the Grimm Aura. But I get the feeling that its useful against something else. Judging by Cinder's look of discomfort, I'd say my hunch was right." Terumi said as Ruby tried to get up. Before she could do so, Terumi just simply kicked her down
"You know, that little statement earlier reminds me of someone else I ran into several years ago. She was decisive in her decision to protect people and now that I think about it, her hair color is similar to yours. Not to mention, the both of you have silver yes. That's right, I believe her name is Summer Rose." Terumi said which surprised Ruby
"How do you know her?" Ruby asked visibly shaken at the name drop
"What did you say?" Terumi asked gleefully
"I SAID HOW DO YOU KNOW MY MOTHER?!" Ruby yelled causing Terumi to have a sinister smile on his face
"A few years ago, I had to deal with an interesting mater and I ran into her. I could go into details about how our meeting went. But I believe you should here the most crucial detail of that encounter." Terumi said before he leaned closer to Ruby's face maintaining his sadistic smile
"The truth is, I killed your mother." Terumi said which stunned Ruby and causing her to shed tears
"What?" Ruby asked while ignoring the fact that she's crying
"I ran into your mommy a few years ago. We fought and I ended up killing her. In fact, allow me to show you how I killed her." Terumi said before he launched a chain at Pyrrha and it struck her in her torso.
"My Nox Nyctores Ouroboros has a special poison tht affects energy. If it affects the Grimm, I can control. But if it affects people that's when things gets really interesting. The poison will eat away at her aura. The only way to be saved from Ouroboros is to have your aura outlast the poison. Have someone else purge the poison out with their own energy. Or be far away from me so that the effects gets weakened. If none of those things apply, then you're a goner." Terumi said while every watched as Pyrrha struggled to fight the poison. After a few seconds, Pyrrha was enveloped with a green energy and after a moment, her body made a flash of orange and she disintegrated into an energy like dust
"Pyrrha." Ruby said with tears in her eyes at the sight of her friend being killed
"That's the effects of Ouroboros poison. So tell me, what do you think, pretty cool right?" Terumi said sarcastically to Ruby causing the young girl to shed more tears
"First my mother, now my friend. YOU MONSTER!" Ruby said before her silver eyes shined much more brightly than before. Cinder felt a great deal of discomfort from the light. But the discomfort lasted for a moment. When Terumi kicked Ruby again and topped the power of her silver eyes.
"Cinder, come over here and deal with her. I get the feeling that her little light show will cause some problems in the long run." Terumi said causing Cinder to walk towards Ruby. Once she got closer to Ruby, Cinder started to gather some energy and was ready to finish off Ruby in one move.
Once Cinder was done, she started to blast a powerful flamethrower at the silver-eyed girl. Before the flames could reach Ruby, Ragna used a good deal of his strength to run in front of Ruby and endure Cinder's flamethrower. As Ragna was enduring the flamethrower, Cinder decided to increase the intensity of her attack. Because she knows that Ragna is a true threat to her. But as the flames increased, Ragna started to walk towards her. Cinder ended up using her power as the Fall Maiden to strengthen the flames. But it didn't stop Ragna and continued going towards her.
As Ruby was watching this, she found herself being grateful to Ragna and started to think about the things that happened to him. Moments ago, she was conflicted on whether or not to forgive Ragna for what happened at the arena. But now, here Ragna is putting his life on the line to protect her with everything he's got. Where there was doubt, there is now a stronger sense of respect for her friend.
While Cinder was blasting Ragna with a powerful flamethrower, Ragna started to be enveloped in a dark crimson energy as he was approaching Cinder. What happened next surprised everyone, because a surge of energy started to take form where Ragna lost his arm at. After a brief second, a new arm was formed, and it was black as the night sky with some tints of red. After the new arm was formed, Ragna called over his weapon and made a move to attack Cinder.
Reacting quickly, Cinder stopped blasting her flamethrower and summoned her swords to try and parry Ragna's attacks. Unfortunately for Cinder, Ragna proved to be too strong and he merely broke through Cinder's attacks after a few swings. Cinder tried to attack Ragna once again, but this time, Ragna made a quick swing of his sword and was able to both destroy Cinder's swords and push her back.
After Cinder was pushed back, Ragna enveloped his sword Bloodedge with a large amount of his aura and started to rapidly swing at Cinder. Each sword swing has hurt Cinder immensely and this kept up for a few seconds. Until Ragna was enveloped in an energy that is a mix of black, red, and purple and he changed his sword to its scythe form.
"DIE!" Ragna said with his voice slightly distorted before he slashed at Cinder one more time. This time though, after Ragna swung his scythe, he proceeded to continuously absorb large amounts of aura and Cinder was stunned the entire time. As Ragna was absorbing Cinder's energy, his body was more deeply enveloped in more energy and his scythe changed shape. The shape the scythe changed into resembled that of a claw.
"YOU BITCH!" Ragna yelled before he made the final attack onto Cinder. After the attack was made, a large and powerful explosion was made and Cinder was engulfed in it. The explosion lasted for a few seconds and a few moments, the light from the explosion dissipated. After the light from the explosion dissipated, Cinder was barely breathing but looked severely injured. She lost both an eye and an arm and is barely alive.
"YOUR NEXT, TERUMI!" Ragna said before he turned to look at Terumi.
"Hehehe, now we're talking. This is my kind of fun." Terumi said in a low and sadistic tone before he proceeded to draw both of his knives. Before either Terumi or the empowered Ragna could do anything, a voice stopped them.
"Terumi, its time to go." A stern male voice said getting Terumi's attention
"Damn it Relius, you always stop me just when I'm about to have some fun!" Terumi said in an angry tone
"More Huntsmen and Huntresses are starting to make their way towards here. This includes Jubei who will be here soon. Cinder is in critical condition and it is time for us to leave. We did what we set out to do." Relius calmly told Terumi
"I guess we are on a tight schedule." Terumi told Relius before he turned to look at Ragna
"Looks like your half of the Grimm Aura mutated into something interesting. As much as I want to see how your copy of the Azure Grimoire compares to the genuine article. We have to settle this another day." Terumi said before he disappeared along with Relius and the severely injured Cinder. After everyone left, Ragna was no longer enveloped in energy and he simply fell to the ground exhausted and drained. As Ragna was losing consciousness, he started to hear a couple of voices, but was too weak to say or do anything.
"There in rough shape, Ruby has it bad. But Ragna has it worse, I can see that from here." Qrow said
"Its too much of a risk for Ragna to be here. Especially if he'll be near the people who has a lot of questions. Qrow, I'll tell you everything later, but right now we have to get things settled as best as we can." Jubei told Qrow
"Alright, I'll hold you to it. How will I be able to reach you?" Qrow asked
"Don't worry, I'll be the one to find you. Just be ready for everything you could learn, cause it's a doozy." Jubei answered
"I doubt I'll be surprised. But I have been proven wrong before." Qrow said in a pessimistic tone before Ragna fully lost consciousness

You guys have no idea how close I was to having Celica die in this chapter. But after going through previous chapters and looking at the Blazblue canon. I decided by a thread to let her live. The reason is because I wanted to give Ragna a bit of a break. Also, in the main games, losing Celica affected Ragna very deeply which played a role in what he became in the main games.
For Celica saying that she loves, Ragna, Jin, and Saya. She says it in a way that a mother says it to her kids. To Celica, it didn't matter that they weren't related by blood, because she loves them as if they were her own children. I know its obvious, but I wanted to prevent a misunderstanding.
Please keep in mind that this DOES NOT mean that Celica has main character immunity. There is still a chance that she could die. Her condition right now is that she is in a coma. The coma is similar to Amber's condition after Cinder took half of her power. Her natural magical powers is what kept her alive from Terumi's Nox Nyctores. But her life is hanging on by a thread. Even though she is still alive, her condition will still have a large effect on the characters. Such as Ragna, Jin, and Saya.
Also just to confirm, Noel is still alove. She's in a coma but her condition is not as severe as Celica's.
As for the name change in this chapter. The real name of the Aura Weapons are the Nox Nyctores.
Everything Terumi said in this chapter is true. The reason that he told the truth to everyone is because he knew that the truth would affect someone as idealistic as Ruby. Anger someone like Ragna, and make people question everything they knew.
It was a hard decision to make to have Pyrrha die. But for the sake of the story it had to be done. Rest assured everyone, she will show up in the chibi chapters along with Celica.
Also in this story, Nu is Ragna's sister. The full story regarding that will be explored much later. But for now, I am confirming that Nu is Ragna's sister. They do have one more sibling out there and to prevent a misunderstanding. Lambda IS NOT related to Ragna, Jin, Saya, or Nu.
Cinder is alive too, but she's severely beaten and lost an arm and an eye in this story. But this time it was due to Ragna. The power of the silver eyes still affects Cinder, but Terumi prevented Ruby from using her Silver Eyes power.
I will also confirm that in this story Terumi did kill Ruby's mother. From what I've read in the comments, there is a decent chance that RWBY canon might pull a fake-out and say that Summer Rose is still alive or find a way to bring Pyrrha back to life. If that happens, I will completely ignore it. When I confirm a character's death in the Author's Notes. That character will stay dead. They might show up in a flashback or something similar. But they will stay dead. Comic book stories can get away with bringing a character back to life to an extent. But I will not give that leeway to the RWBY series.
