Chapter 59 A Longing
(Beacon Balcony, the day before the tournament)
Because the Vytal Festival has started and many students are either partaking in the festival. Or planning to participate in the tournament that will occur soon. It was decided that for the duration of the tournament, classes have been canceled, much to the students joy. Since Ragna and his team have spent a lot of time training. It was agreed that they spend the day just resting since the tournament is the next day.
Though Ragna is excited for a chance to fight in the tournament and take on strong fighters. He is also worried, about Celica and Saya due to the events of the Breach. Even though Jin has saved Central City and General Ironwood increased security. Ragna still feels uneasy about the future. Since Roman took all the credit for the attack, everyone is at peace and feels safe. But Ragna knows that there is more going on than everyone thinks. Making Ragna even more worried is Cinder's threat to his family.
"So much has happened in just the past few months alone. Are we in a position to have a festival?" Ragna thought to himself while looking at the shattered moon while deep in thought.
"Had a feeling I'd find you up here." Yang said getting Ragna's attention and out of his train of thought.
Hey Yang, is everything OK?" Ragna asked in a concerned tone
Everything's fine, right now me and my team decided to just spend today relaxing and resting. Since the tournament is tomorrow, there's really no point in training ourselves to death. I wasn't looking for you in particular, but I'm always glad for some company." Yang briefly explained to Ragna
"I see, well your not bad company either Yang, I wasn't really doing much, I was just thinking about a few things." Ragna told Yang in a thoughtful tone
"Oh yeah, were you thinking about how badly you and your team would lose when you fac us in the tournament." Yang said confidently to Ragna
"Keep dreaming Yang, if I can beat you in our sparring matches. Then the rest of your tem is no problem." Ragna responded with confidence in his voice
"Please, I let you win so your ego wouldn't be damaged. But since you think you can win against team RWBY. I won't have to hold back the next time we fight." Yang said with a great deal of confidence causing Ragna to snicker
"Save your excuses after you guys lose. It'll be pretty embarrassing when you guys are speechless after we obviously win." Ragna said with a smirk on his face causing both him and Yang to laugh for a few minutes
"Its nice to see that your confident at least. It'll be a bit underwhelming if I found you worried about what you'll do against strong opponents." Yang told Ragna
"Me and my team did what we could in terms of getting ready. If we come across someone who can hold their own against us. Then we'll just wing it. Unless we cheat or have the ability to predict the future. We could end up fighting anyone." Ragna briefly explained to Yang
"Say Ragna, do you have any plans for after the tournament? The Vytal Festival will still go on for a couple of days after the tournament. So I'm curious about what you plan to do. Since I doubt you're the type to study diligently." Yang told Ragna causing him to think for a second
"You know, I never really thought about that. I thought about training but even I need a break once in a while. You got anything in mind Yang?" Ragna asked in a curious tone causing Yang to smile at an idea she had
"Since this'll be our first time being at the Festival as students of Beacon. How about we just hang out and enjoy the festival." Yang suggested to Ragna
"Well since I don't have anything better to do, I don't see why not. But why just me instead of your team? I'm sure Ruby would want to enjoy the festival with you."Ragna asked ina curious tone to Yang
"I could say the same thing about you enjoying the festival with Saya and Sister Celica. Not to mention your own brother Jin. But to answer your question, I already have plans to enjoy the things this year's festival has to offer. But since she's starting to enjoy things with her team more. I figured I should hang out with a dear friend." Yand explained answering Ragna's questions.
"Thanks Yang, come to think of it, you're the ever first friend I made since I came to the Kingdom." Ragna told Yang
"Really, I Guess you're not much of a social butterfly huh?" Yang asked causing Ragna to chuckle
"Not really, I always tend to do my own thing you know." Ragna briefly answered causing Yang to get excited
"Then how about this, after the tournament. We spend a couple of hours hanging out and enjoying the festival. We need to enjoy the time we have while we're here at Beacon and I won't take no for an answer." Yang stated excitedly to Ragna making the plans for them to hang out with each other.
"Sure, but why are you adamant on this?" Ragna asked in a slightly confused tone
"Well, I supposed its because your the best friend I made since I came to Beacon. I mean, I have other friends and I consider my team to be my family. But I met you before I became friends with Weiss and Blake. Your like a brother to me and I'm glad to have met you Ragna. So I want us to spend as much time together as we can. Once we graduate. We won't be able to do as much together. So lets enjoy every moment we can." Yang said with a good deal of excitement. Before the moment could end, a laugh that likely belonged to a young girl echoed throughout the area and caused Yang to look around in confusion.
As Yang was looking around, she saw that she was in a dark place with very little light and she had both of her gauntlets on and she still had her right arm. When a brief second passed, the laughter grew louder and when Yang looked around further she saw Nu wielding her swords. At seeing Nu, Yang made several blasts at her using her gauntlets. Nu was able to avoid most of the gauntlet blasts but was unable to avoid all of them and was given a direct hit by the blast.
Once Nu was hit by the gauntlet blast, she was knocked down for a few seconds and Yang decided to do a follow up attack. Yang proceeded to leap towards Nu, with the plan to deal a powerful blow against the young girl. Before Yang could hit Nu, a single attack had hit Yang as she was in the air and knocked her back a good distance. Yang was able to quickly regain her footing and saw the individual who attacked her. The individual who attacked her surprised Yang because it was Ragna.
"Ragna, what are you doing" Yang asked before she noticed that she no longer has her gauntlets Ember Celica.
Hehehehe." Nu chuckled as she was approaching Yang
"Ragna help me!" Yang yelled before Ragna turned around and started to walk away
"RAGNA, DON'T ABANDON ME!" Yang yelled out tearfully before Nu got close and proceeded to deliver a powerful blow before everything started to be blurred white
(Yang's Room)
In a split second, Yang's eyes opened up and realized that in a split second. She was having a dream. The dream contained both a pleasant memory of her time with Ragna on the day before the tournament. Yet it quickly transitioned into a night of Nu attacking her. Yet the part of her nightmare that hurts her the most. Is Ragna walking away, abandoning her. It has been several months since the Fall of Beacon. Asie from the loss of her right arm, Yang's body has healed significantly. Though the damage done to her spirit is a whole different matter entirely.
It was bad enough that the world thought the worst of her. Due to the set-up made by both Cinder and her group. Yet things got worse when the White Fang attacked the school and brought in the Grimm for good measure. But the reveal of Ragna having the power of the Black Beast. Many portions of Remnant's history are lies, and Terumi who is one of the six heroes is the one responsible for destroying her family. All these moments and revelations have pushed Yang to the limit. But the moment that pushed Yang over the edge, was the realization that Ragna has lied to her and abandoned her.
Adding insult to injury is that the very individual that Ragna protected was the one who cut her arm off. The reality of the situation of that day makes Yang angry as well as sad. Yet the only positive thing that came from that day was that it was able to bring her and Makoto together. It was surprisingly easy for Yang to convince her dad to let her stay with them for a while. But as the months went by, Yang sees the fall of Beacon as an living nightmare that haunts her. As she was waking up, she saw that there was a note on her dresser.
"Me and your dad have gone shopping. We tried to wake you up, but you're a bit of a heavy sleeper. We'll be back before you know it. With love, Makoto." The letter said causing Yang to sit it down and go wash up.
(The Living Room)
After washing up, Yang found herself bored at the moment. Seeing as though there wasn't much of anything for her to do. She decided to just simply watch TV. Even though the CCT Tower is down, the local comm is still up and people can still be in contact with each other using the local signa.
"It has been 6 months since the fall of Beacon and though the situation has been stabilized. Beacon still remain closed until further notice." One of the Newscaster said before Yang changed the channel.
"The council has voted to ban all airship travel unless they are part of evacuation or assisting with the situation with the Grimm. Though, there has been discussions with the Atlus Council regarding additional assistance. So far things have not been progressing as many have hoped or expected." Another Newscaster said before Yang changed the channel and went to another news story.
"Tensions are high among the citizens of Vale. With many vocal civilians calling for an omission of the history documents. Due to the startling revelation of the Aura Beast name being the Black Beast. The Council has repeatedly stated that the information is still being investigated and will make the necessary updates. When new and concrete details come to light." A third Newscaster said before Yang changed the channel again and got to another news channel that has a picture of a familiar individual
"There has been no official statement regarding the individual known as Ragna the Bloodedge. Many of the police and local Huntsman and Huntresses are on high alert for the infamous individual. Ever since he displayed a frightful power that killed many people within the audience of the day Beacon Fell. Everyone is worried about Ragna since he is still at large." The Newscaster explained before the news channel went to an interview
"If that Headmaster knew about Ragna having that dangerous power. Then he should have told all of us instead of putting us in danger like that. First he sent kids to stop the breach which ended in failure and now this. How many people has to die before he gets his act together," An angry citizen said before the news got to the next interview
"There are many people who don't know about the horror of the monstrosity. Now we're being told that the monster has returned. Something needs to be done or else the entire world will live to regret it." An angry older man said before it got to the next interview
"Whether or not that voice was telling the truth doesn't matter now. But what does matter is that Ragna killed a lot of people using that power and he has to answer for it." A concerned citizen said in the interview
"Many citizens of the Kingdom of Vale is understandably worried and while there has been no official word on his current whereabouts. The council states that if anyone sees the infamous individual. They advise that they report him to either the Police or the local Huntsman or Huntress. Because Ragna is considered armed and extremely dangerous." The Newscaster said before Yang turned the TV off.

Both Taiyang and Makoto spent a good deal of time shopping for various things. Though Taiyang wouldn't admit it, he is glad that Makoto is staying with them for a while. The reason is that if it was just him and Yang. A part of him would spend a good deal of time worried about Yang. With Makoto being with them, Yang will be around a friendly face and Taiyang will have someone help around the house until Yang becomes accustomed to her situation.
"Thanks for coming with me Makoto, since you're with me. It'll give me an extra set of hands and help save me some time during this trip." Taiyang told Makoto as they were sitting down on a nearby bench to rest
"Its no problem sir, I always want to help out as much as I can and Yang needed some rest. That was my fault on that one, we stayed up all night talking." Makoto told Taiyang
"You can call me Tai, I'm not feeling old yet unlike Qrow. Besides I'm glad to see that you've gotten closer to Yang." Taiyang said causing Makoto to get a little nervous
"Um . . . what are you talking about?" Makoto asked in a worried tone
"You and Yang, I know that you and her a seeing each other now and. . ." Taiyang said before Makoto started to panic
"Look um me and her are just . . . um friends and I would never . . ." Makoto said in a panic before Taiyang cut her off
"Listen, listen, you don't have anything to worry about. I could spend an hour or two giving you the stereotypical dad lecture of what are your intentions and if you do anything to hurt her you'll regret it. But I know for a fact that Yang can take care of herself when it comes to things like this. Besides, from everything Yang told me and from what I've seen. You're a good person and I'm happy to know that you'll do good by her." Taiyang said giving Makoto his approval for her to go out with Yang
"Thank you Tai, almost nobody knows about my preference when it comes to romance. I was talking to Yang about it an she understood why I'm not ready to come out. I've been made fun of for being a Faunus for years and stuff like that doesn't really go away so easily. I'll tell people but not this soon." Makoto explained to Taiyang in a somber tone
"I understand, just know that I fully accept you for who are and I'm glad that you and Yang are together. A fair warning though, if you two are ever in an argument, don't ever say bad about her hair." Taiyang told Makoto
"Don't worry, I've noticed how much ang cares about her hair." Makoto told Taiyang before the older man started to have a serious look on his face
"You know, everytime Yang turns on the news, she always cuts it off when it brings up Ragna. I take it she's still angry with him?" Taiyang asked in a concerned tone
"Yeah, I've been wanting to talk to her about how she feels. But I'm afraid that if I do, she'll get angry and won't speak to me for a while." Makoto said causing Taiyang to think for a second
"All I have to go by are the letters. But I want you to tell me what they were like and also how things fell apart between those two. The news isn't exactly reliable and I want to get details from a reliable source." Taiyang said causing Makoto to think for a moment.
"When it comes to Ragna and Yang, the both of them were thick as thieves. If Yang wasn't hanging out with me, she was likely hanging out with Ragna. One of the reasons that they got along so well is that they have a lot in common and can relate to each other. Their both hot-headed. But they both have a deep kindness to them." Makoto explained to Taiyang
"I see." Taiyang said in an intrigued tone before Makoto continued
"For how things fell apart, Ragna had hurt Yang deeply. Ragna lied to Yang and kept her in the dark. Even during a time when the entire Kingdom turned against her because of a set-up. Don't get me wrong Ragna did stook up for her to a lot of people. Even to General Ironwood of all people and that's not easy to do." Makoto told Taiyang before she continued
"But he still lied and kept her in the dark regardless. When his lie was exposed, she gave him a chance to make things right but he refused to do so. Yang said that its because he has trust issues. But I believe that Ragna learned something and didn't know what to do or who to trust. The person Ragna tried to help and protect Yang from. Is the same one who cut her arm off and ran. I admit that he screwed up spectacularly. But he isn't the type of person to do something like that without a good reason. Makoto explained to Taiyang who listened to every word
"How would you briefly describe Ragna?" Taiyang asked in a curious tone
"Imagine a guy who is willing to do the right thing. No matter what people say or think of him. Ragna doesn't think things through at all. But he is a complicated person who will do what he believes in and protect the people he cares about." Makoto briefly explained to Taiyang before he took a deep breath and spoke
"The way you described Ragna reminds me of Yang's mother Raven. She is a complicated and troubled woman. Who always fought for what she believed in, whether it was for her team or her tribe. Ragna sounds like an interesting guy, but he has to make things right by Yang. After all, a trust that's been broken once. Is not easily repaired, especially if its by someone you saw as a brother." Taiyang told Makoto with her agreeing
"Your right, when people look at Yang, they see a strong and confident young woman. But a lot of them are quick to forget that she's a human being with vulnerabilities. She's not invincible and she can still be hurt, physically and emotionally." Makoto explained to Taiyang
"Do you think there's a part of Yang that's worried about Ragna? Especially since everyone is calling him the beast of Remnant. Despite everything that happened, they were still friends when they started Beacon." Taiyang asked in a concerned tone
"I suspect that there is a part of Yang that misses Ragna, but that is something the both of them are going to have to settle themselves." Makoto answered causing the both tof them to think for a moment.
"Well isn't this a pleasant sight." A male voice called out getting Makoto's and Taiyang's attention. When they looked to see who called out to them, they saw that it was Amane.
"Amane, its so good to see you again." Makoto said before she stood up and gave Amane a big hug.
"It makes me happy to see that you haven't lost your spirit Makoto. Well who is this Makoto?" Amane asked in a curious tone while looking at Taiyang
"This man is named Taiyang Xiao Long. He's Yang and Ruby's , this is Amane Nishiki, he a member of team BLST and is another friend of ours." Makoto said introducing Taiyang to Amane
"It's nice to meet you, I'm a Teacher at Signal Academy. Any friend of my daughters is a friend of mine." Taiyang said to Amane introducing himself
"So you're Yang and Ruby's father, its an honor to meet you sir." Amane said as he was shaking Taiyang's hand
"With everything going on, I haven't had the chance to see what happened with everyone. What are you doing here Amane? I thought you would go home and rest up." Makoto said to Amane
"The rest of my teammates left to walk their own path. I decided to stay here in the Kingdom of Vale and help as many people as I can. My semblance is useful for healing people and the Local Huntsman and Huntresses have their hands full with things going on at the school." Amaane briefly explained to Makoto and Taiyang
"That's pretty noble of you Amane, but aren't you afraid that you'll be here for a very long time?" Taiyang asked Amane in a concerned tone
"Don't worry about that, I plan to stay and help the people in Vale until everything becomes more stable. I look forward to the day when I can here more of Yang's wonderful jokes." Amane said causing Taiyang's face to light up much to Makoto's embarrassment at the realization of where Yang gets her passion for puns from
"Wait, you like Yang's jokes, looks like this is your lucky day. Since I happen to teach her everything she knows about jokes and puns." Taiyang proudly stated to Amane's amazement
"In that case, I'm sure you can spare a few Clever puns." Amane said before Makoto immediately butted in
"You know, as much as I would love to hear Tai's jokes. Yang is still expecting us and we can't leave her waiting for too long." Makoto quickly said before she started to pull Taiyang away.
"How is Yang doing, I never had the chance to see her with everything that happened." Amane said in a concerned tone
"Aside from her injury, Yang is doing fine. It's just going to take a while for her to get back her fighting spirit." Makoto quickly responded
"I see, well take care you two and give Yang my best." Amane said before he left to tend to his own business. As he was leaving, Amane was in quick thought about the future.
"It's important for everyone to be able to restore their resolve and fighting spirit. Especially since I have a feeling that things are going to become more dangerous in the future. I'll meet up with all of you soon. But right now, the people here need my help." Amane thought to himsenf as he was going to tend to his business.

Team RBAL spent several days traveling after they all left Ronin-Gai. Each of the 5 travelers are focused on getting to Haven as soon as possible and are determined to make the journey. So far, they haven't come across any major problems and after looking at the map they are confident in knowing they are going the right direction.
As all of them were traveling, Jaune realized that he doesn't know anything about Lambda aide from her name, semblance and weapon of choice which are dual gun swords. Jaune knows that all of them are focused on getting to their destination. But he also knows that while they are traveling together. They should take this time to get to know each other better. Especially since they'll be trusting their lives with each other.
"So um Lambda, its nice to see that your going to be travelling with us. I want to say thanks, I know that this is going to be a dangerous journey. But I appreciate this all the same." Jaune said awkwardly as they were walking. When Jaune noticed that Lamda didn't respond, he decided to speak further
"You know, we've known each other for a few months. But looking back on it, that's mainly by association. So I was hoping that you would tell us a bit more about yourself." Jaune said slowly getting more nervous while trying to talk to Lambda
"Well could you tell us something like where your from or something about yourself?" Jaune asked Lambda in a slightly nervous tone
"There is no relevance to you knowing about my past and my current mission. Therefore it is entirely unnecessary for you to learn about me, since it will not affect mission parameters in any way." Lambda stated s she was walking
"Truth be told, I agree with Jaune. In order for our teamwork to be more effective. We should work on ways for us to deepen our bond with each other. I believe that the more we understand each other. The more we'll be able to trust each other more easily." Bang said in an optimistic tone agreing with Jaune
"You two call it deepening our bonds with each other. Yet I see it a you two being nosy about my past and business." Lambda told Bang and Jaune in a blunt tone
"They swing and they miss." Bullet muttered which Ragna overheard
"Lambda's past is her business Bullet, if she doesn't want to tell us a thing. Then that's completely fine, since she's not hurting any of us and is going with us to get the bastards that attacked Beacon." Ragna told Bullet
"Aren't you at least a little curious about her? She shows up practically out of nowhere and expects us to let her travel with us when we know almost nothing about her. I admit that she trained with us in Ronin-Gai during the past six months. But it's stuff like this that's pretty much asking for trouble." Bullet warned Ragna in a cautious tone
"Look, we're up against people that was able to cause the Fall of Beacon and we're going to an Academy all the way in Mistral, with little to no information to go on. I hate to admit it, but I can't handle those bastards alone and I'll take any help I can get. Besides, if there's a chance that I can wring that bitch Cinder's neck and gut that bastard Terumi. I'll be ore than happy to take it." Ragna briefly explained to Bullet
"I remember what you told us about what happened at the top of the Tower. Do you really think that Cinder is still alive?" Bullet asked in a curious tone
"I don't know for certain, but I have a burning hunch that she's alive. If she is, that gives me the chance to kill her myself. If she isn't, then that means there's one less person I have to deal with. So all I have to do is focus on that bastard Terumi." Ragna stated to Bullet with a focused gaze at the mention of Cinder and Terumi
"I get that your mad, but don't let your anger affect your judgement. Me and the rest of this group fought Terumi and knows how skilled he is. If your anger causes you to lose control. Then he will kill you before you know it." Bullet told Ragna in a cautious tone
"Don't worry, I'm not that stupid. I spent a lot of time training too and . . ." Ragna said before he looked ahead and noticed that there's something going on.
Ragna decided to signal the group to stop and went on ahead to see what was going on. When he got closer, Ragna noticed a small group of farmers huddled together. Upon looking closer, he saw that they were surrounded by small monkey Grimm and they surrounded the group of huddled farmers. Ragna signaled the group to get closer and once they did. They started to speak to each other in a low tone.
"What do you see?" Jaune asked while keeping his voice low
"Several farmers are surrounded by some Grimm.' Ragna told Jaune causing the others to take a better look
"Those small Grimm, they don't look like too much trouble." Bullet commented in a tone that's ready for a fight.
"Those are the Chimpa Grimm, individually they are considerably weak. Yet as a group they pose to be a significant threat to many people. They are normally seen within forests and far from modern cities. Therefore, they are commonly known to attack Villages and farms." Lambda stated while observing the small chimp like Grimm
"I get the feeling that what you've told us is not the worst of it." Jaune stated in a cautious tone
"Aside from the Chimpa Grimm travelling in groups and being able to swarm the average person. They also have a nasty habit of calling for help. With a group as large as this, there should be at least two Beringel Grimm nearby." Ragna stated to the others.
"So basically, we need to kill all of them before they call for help and make things harder. While protecting the Farmers from further harm." Bullet summed up to everyone
"Sounds like you've got the right idea." Ragna said before he put his hood up
"Don't you guys think we need a . . . ." Jaune said before Ragna and Bullet went towards the group to fight the Grimm
"I supposed their enthusiastic." Bang awkwardly said to Jaune
"We can't rush into stuff like this without a plan. Lambda, since your dual swords are also guns, shoot any Grimm that comes out of the forest. We can't afford to be blindsided while we have to protect people that can't defend themselves. Bang, you and me will deal with any that they might miss. If the Chimpa Grimm call for help, those two are going to need all the help they can get." Jaune said with Bang and Lambda nodding in agreement before they followed the plan.
Once Ragna and Bullet made it to the area, they started to attack the nearby Chimpa Grimm. The small Grimm were very agile and decided to stay away from both Ragna and Bullet. Fortunately, the Chimpa Grimm didn't expect neither of the two attackers to have ranged options. First Bullet was able to bring several Chimpa Grimm to a large group and made a smirk when they were hurdled together. Once the Chimpa Grimm were gathered together, Bullet turned her gauntlets into blaster mode and proceeded to quickly blast the Chimpa Grimm. Some of them tried to get away, but Bullet used the booster gear that's part of her gauntlet and launched herself towards the Chimpa Grimm and was able to destroy many of them with several short-ranged blasts.
Since Ragna knows that he needs to keep his identity hidden. He is making sure that every attack he's making doesn't risk his hood being unveiled. When the Chimpa Grimm got close, Ragna quickly swung his sword at a high speed. So that the Villagers won't be able to recognize his sword. While Ragna was cautiously swinging his sword, some of the Chimpa Grimm jumped towards Ragna. Before they got too close, Ragna was able to turn and quickly deal with them in one powerful swing.
As both Ragna and Bullet were dealing with the Chimpa Grimm. Jaune got closer to where the Farmers were. Before he got close, the Chimpa Grimm tried to attack him. But Jaune was able to avoid their attacks by rolling to the side. After avoiding the Chimpa Grimm, Jaune used his sword to cut the nearby Grimm and after doing so. He threw his shield and was able to hit one of the nearby Grimm. Once Jaune's shield hit the Grimm, it ricocheted to the nearby Grimm and after that it quickly returned to Jaune.
Bang used his impressive speed to move around the area and proceeded to attack each of the Chimpa Grimm before they could react. Once Bang stopped moving, the Chimpa Grimm started to run after Bang with the hopes to kill him before he could do anything. Before they got too close however, Bang grabbed his nails and threw them at the Chimpa Grimm with impressive accuracy and the Grimm were dealt with quickly. The other Chimpa Grimm that Bang were unable to deal with tried to attack him. Fortunately, Lambda was able to shoot them before they got too close.
After a good number of the Chimpa Grimm were killed. Several of them decided to attack the Farmers while they had the chance. Bullet noticed this and decided to grab a grenade from her bag an threw it near the Farmers. Before the Chimpa Grimm got close, a barrier appeared from the grenade and surrounded the Farmers. The Chimp Grimm tried to break through the barrier by attacking it. But they weren't strong enough and tried in vain. Before the Chimpa Grimm could try further, Bullet quickly got close and proceeded to punch each of the Chimpa Grimm away before the barrier could dissipate.
Realizing that they were in danger, the Chimpa Grimm in the area decided to get away from the farmers and team RBAL. Though once a good deal of distance were made. Each of them started to make a loud screech in unison. The screech was loud enough to stun everyone nearby except for Ragna. But a few seconds later, four Beringel Grimm appeared and held a look of pure rage on their faces despite the masks.
After the Beringel Grimm appeared, two of them went for Jaune since he was the closest. One of the Berngel Grimm tried to attack Jaune with a slam of its fist. Fortunately, Jaune was able to avoid the attack and started to attack the Beringel Grimm's chest with several sword slashes. The sword slashes were enough to stagger the Beringel Grimm and it gave Jaune enough time to avoid the coming attack from the second Beringel Grimm.
Once Jaune avoided the second Beringel Grimm's attack. He threw his shield at the attacking Grimm and for a few seconds, the shield had repeatedly hit both of the Beringel Grimm's body before it returned to Jaune. After Jaune reclaimed his shield. He proceeded to finish off the Beringel Grimm he slashed previously. By cutting its legs and causing it to fall. After it fell, Jaune acted quickly and cut off its head.
Before he could do anything further. He was knocked to the side by the nearby Beringel. Before the Grimm could finish him off, Jaune used his shield to block the Beringel Grimm's attack. But the Grimm was able to hold down Jaune with its large arm and immense strength.
While the Grimm was holding down Jaune. Bang was able to notice this and quickly made his way towards the Grimm and Jaune. Once Bang got closer, he jumped into the air and proceeded to do a dive kick on the Beringel Grimm's arm. The kick was strong enough to free Jaune from the Grimm and gave him a chance to get away. Once it was just Bang and the Beringel Grimm. Bang decided to use the wrist blades that attached to his gauntlets and proceeded to quickly attack the Beringel Grimm all over its body. After a few seconds, Bang stopped his attack and the Beringel Grimm started to fall before it dissipated.
"Nice job Bang." Jaune commented to Bang in an impressed tone
"Thank you Jaune, though the praise should go to Baiken. Since she made sure to intensify my training. Now I am much stronger than before." Bang said accepting the praise before him and Jaune went to help
The other two Grimm were focused on both Ragna and Bullet. The two Grimm tried to attack the two travelers. But they learn that dealing with their intended targets is much harder than they thought. For Bullet, she continued to parry each of the Beringel Grimm's attack and in between parries. Bullet would hit the Grimm with various energy blasts and slowly pushed it back. When the Beringel Grimm made another attack, Bullet avoided the attack and delivered a strong uppercut and managed to destroy the upper half of the Beringel Grimm's body.
For Ragna, he proceeded to both avoid and parry the Beringel Grimm's attack. As he was doing this, Ragna was waiting for an opening and after a brief moment. Ragna found what he was waiting for and proceeded to jump back to avoid another one of its attacks. After he did so, Ragna used the gun function on his sword and repeatedly blast the Grimm before it was significantly weakened. After it was weakened, Ragna delivered a strong downward slash and finished it off. It didn't take too long for the team RBAL to finish off the rest of the Chimpa Grimm after the Beringal Grimm were destroyed.
"Thank you, me and the others have always had trouble with the Chimba Grimm and we didn't know what else to do. It's bad enough we have to deal with Bandits, but the Grimm makes things worse." The traveling farmer told the group
"It's our pleasure to help you sir. We were passing through and saw that you were all in trouble. In good consciousness, we couldn't turn a blind eye to your troubles.' Bang told the farmer in a kind tone
"Is there anything we can do to thank you. You have done us a great service and it would be a shame for us to part ways. Without us giving you a proper reward for your help." The Farmer told the group.
"We appreciate the offer but need to keep going. We have a long way to go if we want to get to Haven Academy and we can't stay in one place for too long." Jaune told the Farmer causing older man to have an idea
"Then this works out for everyone. Our farm isn't too far from here and the community we're a part of has regular contact with a nearby Village. From what I last recall, there's an airship that make regular stops for supplies at the Village. You'll all have a warm meal and a place to stay for the night. It's a couple of hours from here and your not going to far out of your path." The Farmer said causing the group to think for a bit
"Well, its not too far out of the way from where we're going." Bang told the group
"It will be better than camping out, and if there's a chance for us to get an airship, I'd say its worth it. At the very least, we'll get some food for the day." Bullet said voicing her thoughts
"It's not too out of the way. I say we go for it. Besides, this'll give us a chance to go over our supplies since we've been travelling for a couple of weeks." Jaune said to everyone
"Fine, we need to mov this along." Ragna said in an impatient tone while keeping his face covered
"Then it looks like your all in agreement with each other. Come on, our farm is a couple of hours away from here. Our community will be happy to help you for your incredible service." The Farmer said before him and everyone else started to walk away.

General Ironwood spent the last few months getting ready for a project to combat the threat that caused the Fall of Beacon. As he was going over the details of his plans, he started to think about what would happen when the project gets to its final phase of preparation. He knows that during the process, a lot of people will have to endure hardships for a while. The General won't be surprise if he's grown to be hated for his plans and decisions. But if it means a chance to finally put an end to Salem's schemes. Then Ironwood will embrace it and more. As he was checking in on Fria, the current Winter Maiden. With plans in both mind and motion for the one who will be next in line for the power. One of the Scientists started to approach him.
"Doctor Arvus, I'm glad you're here. Has there been an update on Celica's condition?" General Ironwood asked in a concerned tone
"There has been no changes in the past few months sir. Her condition remains unchanged and its hard to say whether or not she's stable. The only thing we know that confirms she's still alive is her faint heartbeat. But that means we have to be extra cautious with her care. If we make one mistake, she could end up dead." Dr. Arvus explained to the General in a cautious tone causing the older man to take a deep breath
"I understand, I know its hard to continue to take of her when she's like this. But I appreciate how you and the other doctors have been taking care of her for these past six months." General Ironwood said in a grateful tone
"Thank you Sir, but there is more I have to tell you." The Doctor said getting more of the General's attention
"Sir, it is true that her condition has remained unchanged for the past several months. When we gave her a deeper analysis so we can figure out how to better treat her. She radiated an energy that is different from what we've seen before. The only thing we were able to figure out is that the energy is not aura. If anything, it is similar to the energy that Fria has." The Doctor explained before handing the General the report on the energy. When General Ironwood looked over the report. His eyes widened at what he is seeing.
"This can't be, this energy is identical to magic. Like the four Maidens that's within each Kingdom." General Ironwood thought to himself before the Doctor spoke further
"There's more sir, Not only was Celica held this energy. But the location where she received her injury has also showing signs of the same energy as well. Though the power source is different, it no doubt has the same properties as the energy signature that Celica has." The Doctor finished explaining.
"So not only does Celica have magic, but there is a weapon out there that also has magic of its own?" General Ironwood thought further at the realization of what he's learned.
"Sir, if you would allow it, me and the others could give her a thorough analysis so we can better understand the power that she has. Just think of the feats we can gain, if we can replicate this power." The Doctor said before General Ironwood spoke up
"That woman is in a coma and you want to use her as a lab experiment. What your suggesting is inhumane and goes against everything Atlus represents. Jin has placed a great deal of trust in me to take care of her and assist with her recovery. So I will not betray his trust for something we don't know or fully understand." General Ironwood stated to the Doctor
"I understand sir, I meant no harm or ill intent." The Doctor quickly clarify before the General took a quick breath
"I know, just focus on making sure that she makes a full recovery. Though regarding her power, just write up a report and bring it to me if anything abnormal happens. I know it goes without saying, but this is a top priority order and must be kept between you and me." General Ironwood ordered the Doctor before he started to walk away
"I understand, if you don't mind me asking, where are you going sir?" The Doctor asked in a curious tone
"I have to make a trip to the Schnee residence. I have a feeling that an idea I have is not going to go over well with Jacques." General Ironwood said before he left

Makoto will be getting a new outfit for the story soon but not yet. When Yang gets her outfit update then that is when Makoto will make her outfit debut. Also, Even though Taiyang is supportive of the relationship between Yang and Makoto. It's still going to take Makoto some time for her to tell her friends about her being a lesbian. She does trust her friends with her life, but the problems she faced due to her being a Faunus is still fresh on her mind.
Though she holds no grudge against humans for what she went through as a Faunus. The possibility of things going wrong is still lingering on her mind.
I'm jumping the gun a bit, but Amane is going to be out of action for a while. Since he's going to be spending his time helping the people in Vale. Amane will come back to the story in a more active role like before. But until then he's not going to appear for a while. When he comes back, he will have a new clothes attire. Also, Amane isn't the only character that will be out of action for a while.
Part of the gauntlet upgrades that Bang received is that wrists on his gauntlets can now bring out wrist blades. This will give him more attack options other than his punches, kicks and the nails he throws. Also, he has gotten much better with his Nox Nyctores Phoenix Rettenjo and his semblance.
For Bullet, she has shield grenades. Which has a lot of uses such as defense or support. The best part is that it has the recharge dust that's exclusive to Ronin Gai, so the repeated uses has a lot of benefits. The drawback is that Bullet only has two.
Another thing, Even though Ruby heard as well as Ragna that Nu is now related to Ragna, Jin, and Saya. She hasn't told Jin since its something that Ragna should do himself.
The side chapters that I normally do will still happen. But given how Volume 4 is structured. It's going to be a while before I can do another side chapter. Also, I haven't forgotten about the fanservice chapter I said I will do. It will still happen but its going to take longer than I thought. But it will still be made and it will take place during volume 3.
