I'm jumping the gun a bit, but I'm going to address the head of the noble families by their last names. Since I don't know the canon names that they go by.

Chapter 60 Homebound

(The Ship)

It has been several months since Blake left after the Fall of Beacon. During that entire time, she has travelled around Vale with only one focus and that is to survive. She spent a good deal of time thinking about what to do with everything that happened and what she has learned. A crucial part of history has been a lie. The Academy where she has many fond memories has fallen. While the organization that she has personal ties to has a crucial role in the destruction of her school. So much has happened and Blake needs some time and space to think about a few things. Due to various circumstances, she found herself on a ship heading towards a location that she never expected to return to. As she was looking out to the sea. Blake grabbed her bow and looked at it for a few seconds.

"Looks like I won't be needing this anymore." Blake said before she allowed the wind to blow her bow away before she looked out to the sea further.

"I see your travelling alone." A voice said that caused Blake to grab her weapon before she saw the source of the voice and it was the captain of the Ship

"Is that going to be a problem?" asked in a cautious tone while holding the handle of her sword.

"Not at all, its just that not many people travel by boat alone. Though the ones that do usually have interesting stories to tell." The Ship Captain told Blake

"Maybe some people need to be alone so they can figure things out. While being as far away from trouble as possible." Blake told the Captain

"You might be right, but I can't help but notice that you have a cautious look about you. A few friendly faces would definitely do you some good." The Captain said causing Blake to relax a little

"Everything is more dangerous than ever now. Can you blame me for being cautious?" Blake quickly responded while mentally on guard

"I suppose your right, for the past few months, I've been ferrying people to all sorts of places. Ever since the Vytal Tournament, people are afraid that the Beast of Remnant will get them. So their trying to get as far away as possible. I can't complain too much since it helps the business. Especially my ship being on that popular web video. From a few months ago. You've probably seen it, it's the video of Hakumen killing that large Grimm. He did it right here on this very boat." The Captain said proudly while getting more of Blake's attention.

"Really, well what was he like?" Blake said in a curious tone

"We didn't talk much but the best I can tell. He was a man on a mission and will stop at nothing to see it through. That much is clear just from the way he composes himself. I don't need to tell you how strong he is, that video of him killing that large Grimm already proves that." The Captain told Blake

"I see, so he knows what he's going to do?" Blake muttered in a thoughtful to herself

"I make it a habit to check in on the crew, so if your ever in the mood to talk. Just let me know and I'm all ears." The Captain said before he walked away as Blake continued to look out to the ocean. Unknown to her a cloaked figure started to look at her for a few seconds before they started to approach her. Before Blake could do anything, the cloaked figure quickly pounced on top of Blake and the cloak was lost. When Blake took a closer look, she saw that it was Tao.

"Black Cat, its so good to see you meow." Tao said excitedly to a surprised Blake.

"T . . . Tao, what are you doing here?" Blake said in a surprised tone before she was able to push Tao off of her and noticed a new look. Tao is wearing a long yellow and orange coat with a cat hoodie. Though there are several red sharp stripes along the coat similar to a tiger with red stripes.

"Well, I was heading back to my village, but meow got lost and decided to see it as an adventure while I was going back home meow." Tao said excitedly causing Blake to think for a second.

"Just so I'm understanding this properly. You don't know how to get home and decided to make an adventure of it?" Blake asked in a concerned tone

"Yep, a pretty cool idea for meow huh? I get to have fun, beat up some Grimm and bad guys. All before I get to go back home meow." Tao said proudly causing Blake to pinch the bridge of her home

"How is it that she was able to travel to Beacon in the first place. I'm not really in the mood for company. But if I leave her alone like this, then it'll cause some problems for her." Blake thought to herself with concern for Tao

"You know Tao, since its been months since we last saw each other. How about you stay with me for a while. You can make for some good company and I can . . . . er keep you out f trouble. After I figure a few things out, I can help you get back to your home. How does that sound Tao?" Blake asked in a concerned tone

"Meow, I get to hang out with my friend. Your not my team, but your still my friend meow meow meow." Tao said excitedly while Blake ended up with a longing look on her face.

"Friends, maybe I don't deserve any." Blake thought to herself before she looked out to the sea again.

(The House)

It was another day at Yang's home, and so far nothing exciting has happened. At this point, Yang has gotten used to the new norm and even though Makoto has stayed with them for several months at this point. She has gotten used to things as the new normal very quickly. As she was watching TV with Makoto, Taiyang came into the living room with an excited look on his face.

"Ladies, look what came into the mail today." Taiyang said happily to the girls getting their attention

"What came in Dad?" Yang asked in a curious tone while her and Makoto looked at a large box

"I was going to pull some strings, but before I even had the chance to say or do anything. General Ironwood was already on top of it and it came in the mail for you." Taiyang said before he opened the box and they saw its contents. When they looked at it, they saw a robotic arm of high quality and design. When the girls looked at it, they saw that something special.

"Can you believe it, the General already had his top scientist working on it. Top of the line Atlus tech, not a lot of people can get this stuff." Taiyang said proudly to Yang

"This is incredible, just think of the things you can do with this." Makoto said sharing in the moment with Taiyang

When Yang looked at the arm, she was reminded of the circumstances of how she lost her arm in the first place. There is a good deal of fear from the memory of what happened. Yet there is also some anger from that day as well. Ragna is the focus of Yang's anger. But the focus of her fear is in Nu herself. From what her uncle Qrow has told her, Nu is a lot stronger than what the world has seen from the tournament.

Being able to wear an armor that makes her stronger and having a semblance that lets her summon swords is already bad enough. But having a second semblances that alters gravity makes her more threatening. Its unheard of for someone to have a second semblance and if the young girl can do that. Then who knows what else she's capable of. Especially since she's able to defeat both Qrow and Professor Goodwitch. The thought of fighting someone that strong makes Yang exceptionally worried. Which makes her hesitant to wear the new arm.

"Are you OK, aren't you going to try it on?" Taiyang asked in a concerned tone

"I will dad, I just need a minute." Yang said as she was looking at the new arm

"I understand, lets go Makoto, I could use some help tending to the garden." Taiyang said before he left

"I'm here if you want to talk about it." Makoto said before she left

(The Forest)

Ruby and her friends have been traveling for a couple of days at this point. So far they have dealt with a handful of Grimm but it was nothing that they couldn't handle. As they were traveling, it was agreed that the ones to handle the map will be done in shifts and this time it was Jin's turn, much to Nora's frustration.

"Ugh Jin, can we please stop to take a break. We've been walking non-stop since this morning. The only time we stopped is when we had lunch and even them you gave us a time limit of 5 minutes." Nora said to Jin in a frustrated tone

"Anima is much larger than the map can accurately describe and we are in a race against time. I won't have us lose time because your legs wants to slack off like you tend to do Nora. Besides, this can be a good workout for your legs instead of your mouth." Jin quickly responded causing Nora to get angry

"What did you say ice boy! How about I give my legs a workout by kicking you're a…" Nora angrily responded before Ren cut in

"NORA!" Ren quickly said before Nora gave him a death glare causing Ren to back down

"Here we go again." Ren said calmly yet in a slightly embarrassed tone

"I wonder how long they will argue for this time?" Ruby asked in a concerned tone

"If we're lucky, for at least five minutes. If not, then we can be grateful that their noise will keep us on high alert." Ren said sharing in Ruby's concern

"Jin, according to the map, how much further do we have to travel to the next town?" Ruby said hoping to change topics

"We're a couple of days away, it's a small village but it will make for a good rest stop. If we maintain this pace, we can get there in one day instead of two." Jin said causing Nora to groan

"Ugh come on Jin, I get it. You want to get things done as soon as possible. But we don't have your kind of stamina. We to rest like people instead of machines." Nora said with a good deal of anguish

"You have enough to complain so you can keep walking." Jin said slowly getting frustrated

"Remind me again, why did we agree to let Jin handle the map for us and lead us." Nora said in a tired tone

"Because none of you knows how to read a map and maintain a sense of direction." Jin quickly responded

"Come on Jin, I know that I've gotten us lost a couple of times. But I do know for certain that the next town is Shion." Ruby quickly answered

"Then tell me Ruby, how long did you think it would take for us to get to Haven?" Jin asked in a curious tone as they were walking.

"Oh um two to three weeks, I was hoping that it would take a couple of days for us to find an airship." Ruby said causing everyone to have a surprised look on their faces

"Your kidding." Jin flatly said trying to hide his surprise

"OK maybe three and a half weeks. I grew up on a small island I've never been this far from home." Ruby confessed before Jin started to laugh much to everyone's shock.

"I don't know whether to laugh or cry at what I've heard. Besides, I've had experience so we should be . . ." Jin said before everyone saw the remains of a recently destroyed Village. At seeing this, everyone quickly made their way to the Village in search of survivors. After a few seconds, they saw a man laying down unconscious.

"It's a Huntsman." Ruby said before the group went to him

"Who attacked this village." Ren asked in a concerned tone

"It was bandits, we held them off as best as we could, but they were too much for us. Then the panic started to set in and the Grimm weren't far behind." The Huntsman struggled to say to everyone said

"Ruby, use your semblance and see if you can find help, I'll carry him and catch up. While Ren and Nora keep watch for anymore nearby Grimm." Jin commanded before Ruby started to get ready to run

"We don't know if he'll make it." Nora said in a concerned tone

"We have to try, we need to do that much at least." Ruby said in a concerned tone

"Everyone, he's dead." Ren told everyone causing them to look at the huntsman with a shared grieving look.

"Damn it, more lives that should've been saved." Jin muttered before he punched the nearby wall

"Should we bury him?" Nora asked before Jin spoke up

"He fought to defend this Village and he deserves a proper burial. You all go on ahead, I'll catch up after I bury him." Jin told the group

"But its not safe here Jin. I don't like it either, but more Grimm or bandits could come back and we'll be in danger." Ren said causing Jin to give him a glare

"I made up my mind about this. You two will go on ahead. After I bury this Huntsman I'll catch up. Unless your willing to stop me." Jin said before he grabbed the Huntsman's body aand proceeded to bury him.

(The Schnee Manor)

The time that Weiss spent within her home in Atlus can be best described by one word, lonely. Weiss's has made some friends that live in Atlus, but the current circumstances that she's in prevents her from doing anything that she wanted to do. Unable to do anything, the best she can do is wander her home thinking about everything that happened at Beacon and with what Jin has told her. Before he left to do what he must do.

"Everyone." Weiss muttered as she looked out the window thinking about everything that happened and with what she's learned. Before she started to walk through her home deep in thought about a few things. As Weiss was walking, she was worried about everyone that was at Beacon during its fall. As she was walking, she cam across a surprising individual.

"Hello Weiss." Tsubaki said suddenly surprising Weiss

"Tsubaki, I'm glad to see that your back here at Atlus safe." Weiss said to Tsubaki in a relieved tone

"Thank you, but to be honest, I'm more concerned with the state of Vale. I didn't want to leave, but my family insisted on it. Not to mention that everyone is on edge." Tsubaki told Weiss

"What are you doing here?" Weiss asked in a curious tone

"I came here with my father to support him. Our fathers are in a meeting with the General in your father's study. Jin's father is here as well, the only thing I know is that they are talking with the General." Tsubaki briefly explained to Weiss

"Why would the General be here talking with my father and Tsubaki's and Jin's father?" Weiss asked in a curious tone

"Well isn't this a pleasant coincidence, the heiress of the Yayoi family visiting our lovely home. While my darling sister is out of her room for a change." Whitley said happily while making himself known to the girls

"There must be a good reason for you to be in a cheery mood. So what do you want Whitley?" Weiss said in an impatient tone

"Well I had just returned from Father's study and was told that father wanted to speak with you about something. I don't know what it is, but I recommend that you see him as soon as possible." Whitley told Weiss in a concerned tone

"Thank you for telling me, and I'll be fine with him." Weiss responded to her brother

"I'm sure you will be sister, just like Winter your strong and determined." Whitley told Weiss in a respected tone

"You seem different, you've never liked Winter. Since you have never spared a word of praise to her." Weiss asked in a suspicious tone

"True, but you can't deny her resolve. I've learned to see the positive qualities in others that's deserving of my respect. As you can see, I've grown as well as you have while you were at Beacon. For starters, you and Tsubaki are clearly on better terms with each other." Whitley told Weiss causing Tsubaki to speak up

"Whitley, you know as well as everyone else about what happened at Beacon. It is times like this that the noble families needs to be united. So that we can figure out a path forward while finding ways to help Vale." Tsubaki told Whitley

"Spoken like a true noble Tsubaki. Like my darling sisters, you have my respect as well as my admiration. Now if you'll excuse me, I must get going." Whitley said before he left to his own business. A few minutes after Whitley left, Tsubaki spoke up further.

"If you don't mind me asking, how are things with your brother It might be me, but it looks like the bond between you two are shallow. Especially with that that comment of him not liking Winter." Tsubaki asked Weiss in an observant tone

"To save me the time of giving you an explanation Tsubaki, let's just say that me and my brother aren't on the best of terms." Weiss answered to Tsubaki

"I know its none of my business, and I also know that things are complicated with your family. But I think that you should try to make more of an effort to establish a strong bond with your brother. I know you have Winter, but your brother doesn't have anyone when you stop to think about it." Tsubaki briefly explained to Weiss

"I'll keep that in mind." Weiss said to Tsubaki before she left. Before she went too far, Tsubaki spoke up further

"Also, if you don't mind me asking. How is Jin doing from the last time you spoke to him?" Tsubaki asked Weiss in a concerned tone causing the heiress to think for a second with a concerned look on her face

"Jin is doing fine, he's just out there doing what he thinks is right for the Kingdoms." Weiss answered in a concerned tone

"I see, well thank you for telling me. Wherever he is, I hope he comes back safely." Tsubaki said before her and Weiss left going there separate ways

(Several months ago)

Jin spent a good deal of time explaining to Weiss everything that happened. To say that Weiss was surprised at everything she's learned is a major understatement. There was a part of Weiss that wanted to yell at Jin for keeping secrets as well. While also putting himself in danger the way he did. But the more Weiss thought about it. The more she realized that she can't truly fault Jin or Ragna for the decisions they've made.

"Just so I understand, Ragna told you about his suspicions too?" Weiss asked after listening to everything Jin told her

"Yes he did., though he didn't initially tell me at first and asked for me to put my faith in him. I couldn't ignore the things that happned at Beacon and decided to take a risk in case he was on to something." Jin answered

"But he only told you after both of your family members were threatened?" Weiss asked further

"Yes, originally I didn't believe him since he didn't have any proof. But the more I thought about it. The more I realized that the possibility of our family being threatened." Jin briefly explained to Weiss

"How long did you know about Cinder?" Weiss asked while giving Jin a focused gaze

"Almost as long as Ragna. He told me briefly before the breach happened. I was cautious about his statement since he had no real proof. But the more I looked into it, the more I realize that my brother may have a point. After I fought in the tournament, I decided to investigate further and try to find proof. I was able to discover a connection but by then it was too late. Cinder and her cohorts fought me and prevented me from warning anyone. They succeeded, since I failed to warn the General and stop the match." Jin explained to Weiss causing her to think for a moment before she took a deep breath

"Ragna fought me and Yang to protect Nu. Who is a member of Cinder's team. If you were there, who would you have sided with?" Weiss asked while giving Jin a focused look

"I would have fought my brother to bring the girl in. Whatever his reason for defending her. She still has many crimes to answer for. If I'd have known that my brother would protect a criminal, then I would never have trusted him." Jin stated to Weiss causing her to have a concerned look.

(Moments later)

Thinking about the last time she spoke to Jin. Weiss couldn't help but be worried for his safety and about his plan of action. There is a part of her that is angry at his self destructive recklessness. But she also admires the fact that Jin won't stand around and do nothing. While the danger that Cinder represents still lingers. As Weiss was walking to her father's study, she overheard several grown men talking.

"Do you have any idea of what your proposing General. Our Kingdom is already getting backlash for your metallic soldiers attacks on so many people. The dust embargo you've imposed is only going to make the situation worse. I've warned you too many times about being heavily reliant on technology and look what happened." An older man stated to the General that Weiss doesn't recognize

"I hope that your not taking this as a chance to say I told you so Kisaragi." General Ironwood responded

"Kisaragi has a valid grievance James. Not to mention the dust embargo is doing nothing but hurt this Kingdom.' Jacques stated to the General

"Loss of profit is nothing compared to the loss of life. I'm sure your profits can handle the setback Jacques." Yayoi stated to the CEO

"I'm not talking about my company profits, I'm talking about the good of the Kingdom." Jacques stated

"We still have soldiers able to pick up where your machines left off. Just give us the word and I will call on my soldiers to provide security to the Kingdoms." Kisaragi said to the General

"I told you, I don't feel comfortable sending your PMC to the other Kingdom. Until we know full well what we're dealing with." General Ironwood said in a tired tone

"Your making aggressive use of your authority James. The council will never support your policies." Jacques stated to the General

"You all forget, I hold two seats of the Council. So there isn't much of anything your complaints can do." General Ironwood stated to the men in the room

"You made that fact clear James, just as I've made it clear that your recent policies have cost us dearly. First the Dust embargo that's costing me millions. Then your military sanctions which has greatly hindered Kisaragi's business as well." Jacques angrily stated to the General

"So this is about your business and not the Kingdom of Atlus." General Ironwood countered

"Don't twist my words around." Jacques said before everyone took a dep breath

"We've been at this for hours. We should just call it a day and get some rest. Maybe time apart will give us a chance to think on this further." Yayoi said that the other men agree with

"He's right, maybe some rest will do us some good." General Ironwood said

"Klein will show you the way out." Jacques said

"I know my own way out." General Ironwood said before he left with Yayoi. After the two left, Jacque and Kisaragi started to talk to each other

"The General is starting to lose sight of his responsibilities to our Kingdom." Jacques said to Kisaragi

"The Fall of Beacon happening under his protection is bad enough. But losing control of his mechanical army and attacking the students and civilians. I'm surprised he wasn't punished for such carelessness." Kisaragi said while taking a drink

"Not to mention the issue of the Beast of Remnant. I don't even want to think of how the General will react if he manages to find his way here." Jacques said in a concerned tone

"There have been comments of Jin's relation to the beast. But since it's a statement with no hard evidence. Its nothing more than a baseless statement. Even the girl we've taken in doesn't know what going on. For now we need to focus on the problems we're having in Atlus. Especially if the General decides to use more of his authority with less of his senses. It doesn't help that Winter is serving as the General's puppet." Kisaragi commented causing Jacques to tense up

"Don't remind me, if I'd have known that. . . ." Jacques said before they heard the sound of doors closing. When the two older men looked, they saw Weiss entering the room

"We'll discuss this another time." Kisaragi said before he left. Before he went too far, he stopped to look at Weiss.

"Saya is doing fine with us. Her metallic puppet Minerva is around her all the time. But aside from that, there has been no problems. I just thought you should know." Kisaragi said before left

"It seems your time away from home has cost you your manners." Jacques said in a frustrated tone

"I'm sorry father, I've gotten ahead of myself." Weiss said in an apologetic tone

"Can you believe that the other Kingdoms blame Atlus for what happened to Vale and Beacon. If it wasn't for Jin Kisaragi, an Atlus citizen who decided to go to Beacon. Things would have no doubt gotten worse. From what I was informed, he was instrumental in stopping the Grimm Breach and the Beast of Remnant. A little gratitude would come a long way, but they still blame our Kingdom." Jacques briefly explained to Weiss

"Nobody knows what happened because they weren't there. As for Jin, he blames himself for what happened but it wasn't his fault." Weiss responded calmly

"I supposed your right Weiss, but what's the excuse for the General? Everything happened under his protection and yet everything transpired the way they did. I supposed a good deal of all the events wasn't his fault. Not to mention the council trusts him for better or worse." Jacques stated

"I trust him, I know he's doing what he believes is the right thing." Weiss responded to her father

"Just like your sister, well I supposed someone has to. That doesn't answer to the council." Jacques said before he spoke further

"Thanks to him, Atlus is forbidden from exporting Dust with other Kingdoms. As if that wasn't bad enough, his new policies have prevented the Kisaragi's from employing their PMC's to other kingdoms and have kept them all here in Atlus. He calls it a precautionary measure until we're certain no other Kingdom will declare war. In response, the Schnee Dust Company will hold a Charity Concert in the coming weeks. To raise funds to not only support Vale. But also show the people of Remnant that we're on their side." Jacques explained to Weiss causing her to have a pleased look on her face.

"That's wonderful news, the funds that's raised will go a long way in helping Vale." Weiss said excitedly

"Yes, which is why, your going to be performing during the concert." Jacques said causing Weiss to have a surprised look on her face

'Excuse me?" Weiss asked in a shocked tone

"You were there at Beacon, defending your school and protecting the innocent. Your performance will no doubt pull on the heartstrings of many nobles and show that the Schnee family is as strong as ever." Jacques casually said not noticing how uncomfortable the suggestion is

"Are you asking me or telling me?" Weiss said knowing the likely answer

"It will make a lot of people happy and do some good for our family and Kingdom." Jacques told Weiss

"I understand father, I'll start practicing immediately." Weiss responded in a reluctant tone

"That's my girl." Jacques said before Weiss left

(The Ship)

Ever since Tao caught up to Blake, she realized how energetic Tao can be. Though Blake is understandably cautious. She is happy to see that Tao isn't too broken up over what happened at Beacon. Looking at Tao's high spirits made Blake long for the days of the Academy. The days that she would spend everyday with her team and study diligently. Even the days before the realization that Ragna has the power of the Black Beast and that history has been a lie. With so much that happened at Beacon, including the involvement of the White Fang. Blake needed to spend some time to herself. The best place for her to have some time to herself. Is for her to go home to Menagerie.

"Blake?" A voice called out causing Blake to get out of her train of thought.

"Who said that?" Blake asked in a cautious tone before she noticed a hooded individual. Once she did so, she took out her weapon and stood guard ready to fight

"Are you part of the White Fang? Did you follow me just to bring me back to dam for my punishment?" Blake said in a panicked tone

"I'm not a part of the white Fang, but I did come for you." The hooded figure said causing Blake to step back and was ready to fire. Before she could, the figure removed his cloak and the identity surprised Blake.

"Sun, what are you doing here?" Blake asked in a surprised tone

"I saw you running off back at Beacon and I thought I'd keep an eye on you." Sun Said causing Blake to tense up

"You mean you've been following me all this time? What about your team?" Blake asked in a shocked tone

"Don't worry, I told them that I'd catch up to them and I will. Just later than sooner. But they'll be fine without me." Sun said before Tao pounced on top of him

"Monkey man, its so good to see you meow." Tao said excitedly as she pounced on Sun relentlessly

"He Tao, its good to see you too. I'm liking your new outfit." Sun said as he got up and looked at Blake

"I like your outfit too Blake, it perfectly suits you nd its so much better without the bow." Sun said giving praise to the two young women

"Sun, I'm glad your OK, but how were you able to follow me all this time?" Blake asked in a tired tone

"I saw you run off, after making sure the people were safe. I decided to keep an eye on you since you were tired and worried. What's Tao doing here?" Sun asked in a curious tone

"Tao is a bit of a complicated story. But what were you planning on doing by following me?" Blake asked in a slightly frustrated tone

"Isn't it obvious, I plan on doing what your doing. Taking the fight to the White Fang." Sun said causing Blake to facepalm

"Meow, your fighting the bad guys, I want to fight them too meow." Tao said in an excited tone

"Sure Tao, we can watch Blake's back. The White Fang show up, hurt her friends, trashed the school. It makes sense that she would want to go on a rampage against the White Fang. With me and you watching her back Tao. The three of us can do anything. We can be team BST (Beast)." Sun said excitedly with Tao cheering in support

"Sun, Tao, the both of you have it all wrong." Blake said getting their attention

"I don't want to go anywhere near the White Fang. I want to go home to Menagerie, try to figure a few things out." Blake told Sun ant Tao

"Then why not try to figure things with your team or your other friends instead of going it alone? Sun asked raising a good point to Blake

"Because being away from me is the best thing for my friends. I do nothing but attract trouble to them and I don't want to be a burden to them. So going home to Menagerie, while I figure things out is the best thing for me to do." Blake told Sun

"In that case, me and Tao will go with you." Sun proudly said to Blake

"Yeah meow, we're sticking together meow meow meow." Tao said excitedly to the two

"But why?" Blake asked in a confused tone

"Even though your trying to stay away from the White Fang. There is a good chance that they'll come for you. So us Faunus have to stick together. With Tao's enthusiasm and my instincts. Your safety is as good as certain not to mention you'll have great company." Sun proudly stated to Blake

"I'm more worried about what to do at this point." Blake thought as the ship was sailing.

(The Farm)

After Oscar got finished doing his chores for the day. He decided to go and wash up for dinner. For the past few weeks, Oscar has been feeling another presence around him. He's looked around the farm to see if anything has occurred that's out of the ordinary. But so far, there has been nothing of the sort and its admittedly making Oscar a bit more nervous. Izana has been around to offer comfort and support. But he doesn't want to look as if he's lost his mind in front of her. Especially since the young girl lost her memories and Oscar doesn't want to worry her further. After he got ready for dinner, he decided to take a look in the mirror.

"I can't be crazy, I know I'm not losing my mind." Oscar said as he was looking at the mirror

"Hello, I'm professor Ozpin and your most definitely sane." Ozpin said before Oscar jumped up in shock at the sudden voice

"Wh . . . where are you, come out from where your hiding." Oscar demanded in a nervous tone

"Please calm down we have much to discuss." Ozpin said before Oscar ran off in a panic. Unknown to the both of them, the young girl with red eyes and purple hair stood by in silence and observed the whole thing.

"Whether you remain the obedient farm boy or follow the actions of your predecessor's. No matter which choice you make, all paths will fall in line with my plans." Izanami thought to herself.

(A/N)

I apologize for the very long wait for this chapter. I initially intended to have this one sooner. But personal circumstances required a lot of my time and attention. The next chapter should come out a lot sooner but that can easily change.

I know in canon, Blake and Sun fought the Grimm while on the ship. But I want to hold off on that Grimm for now. Because I have something else planned for them.

Another thing, I know that in this story Yang needs to clear things up regarding what happened with Ruby and I plan to address that soon. Also the reason Weiss is more tolerant of Jin keeping secrets after telling her everything is because Jin made it clear that if he were there he would have captured Nu. Not to mention that in a previous chapter, Jin asked Weiss if he should trust Ragna. Since Weiss remembers that and knows what Ragna did to Jin when they were kids. She regrets telling him that he should.

So read and review

Thank you
