(A/N) It completely slipped my mind to mention this. Along with Amane, Noel is also going to be out of action for a while. The reason is that even though she woke up from a coma. She is still recovering from what happened at Beacon and is not at full strength. Not to mention that once she does recover, she's going to spend time thinking about what she wants with her future and she'll also spend time training to catch up to the others.
There's still time for the Q & A and I will answer questions once I have a good number of questions.
Also, within the story, Ronin-Gai has been expanding territories in discretion ever since Tenjo became leader. Initially the plan was to announce the 5th Kingdom of Ikaruga in a few years. But with everything that happened, she decided to do it much sooner.
The Kingdom of Ikaruga will be a kingdom that's a mix of both humans and Faunus. Tenjo knows that the Faunus won't follow a human so easily after everything they've been through. But she has also built a good reputation among the Faunus and Most of Remnant knows that Ronin-Gai and Tenjo has a zero tolerance policy against discrimination of any kind. So with that in mind, Tenjo knows that having the Faunus trust her is going to be long and difficult, but she is willing to meet that challenge. Tenjo is a kind and generous leader, but she is far from a pushover.
To answer a couple of questions I've received
First set of questions come from Benji the Monocat
It matters because in the context of the story. A good portion of Remnant's history has been a lie. The reason was because the Kingdoms wanted the details of the past to be on their terms. While also give the idea to the public that the Kingdoms had things under control. The moment the public questions certain parts of history and realizes that many details were lies. Then the general population will turn against the Authority of the Kingdoms. Which will serve both Salem's long term plans and to a different extent Izanami's
Yang is mad because Ragna kept crucial secrets from her after growing to trust Ragna dearly. The secrecy also plays into Yang's abandonment issues And from her perspective it feels like Ragna is abandoning her. Not helping matters is that Yang gave Ragna a chance to make things right by turning Nu in to General Ironwood. But because of what Ragna learned of Nu's past and that he doesn't trust the General because of the situation with the inner circle. Ragna refused to do it because of his personal beliefs and that damaged Ragna and Yang's friendship even more.
During the fall of Beacon, Tao was fighting the Grimm with the other students.
Without giving too much away, the best way for me to answer the question is that Hakumen was away from Vale during the Fall of Beacon because he was told be Jubei to stay away from Vale.
I've noticed that there's a lot of question regarding Hakumen, rest assured everyone. Hakumen will still appear in this story again. Even though he's one of my favorite characters, I can't have him show up ever chapter and curbstomp all the villains in the story (no matter how tempting it is to do so). What I can say about his next appearance is that Hakumen will show up again much sooner than you guys think.

Chapter 63 Reunion
(The Farm)
For the past few weeks, Oscar has been hearing a voice inside his head. Initially he thought that the voice came from him being tired from working so hard on the farm. Yet after he took things a bit easier. The voice still kept going on and now he felt like he was losing both his mind and his patience. Currently, Oscar found himself in the bathroom washing himself. But as he looked at the mirror, he had a nervous look on his face.
"OK, I'm not losing m mind, I'm just working too hard and haven't gotten enough rest." Oscar said to himself as he was washing his face. Before he could leave, the voice spoke up again
"I can assure you, your not losing your mind Oscar." Ozpin said shocking Oscar even further
"Get out of my head!" Oscar said in a surprised and frustrated tone
"Given the circumstances that will be quite difficult. Now I must insist that you calm down so I can properly explain the situation." Ozpin said which surprised Oscar even further.
"How can this be happening to me? You're not real, your just a figment of my imagination." Oscar said in a lot of disbelief
"I most certainly am real, but your not normal. I do understand your confusion, I went through something very similar when I was much younger." Ozpin briefly explained in a calm tone
"I'm dealing with a voice in my head. Do you honestly think this is something I can deal with?" Oscar asked Ozpin
"I understand your frustration, trust me this isn't simple for either of us. But there is much more to this than you know. Both our aura and our souls are combined. We have a crucial responsibility that must be upheld." Ozpin told Oscar
"I'm not listening to you, voice in my head." Oscar stated in a slightly panicked tone
"Try to imagine what the head office of Haven Academy looks like." Ozpin suggested to Oscar
"I haven't even been to Haven, how can I imagine what the office looks like. I can imagine it but the only thing I see is a . . . large desk with a table and chair in the corner for guests. I also see a tea set which was a gift from . . . me." Oscar said in a tone with disbelief
"Your correct Oscar, the tea set was a gift to the man that is the current headmaster of Haven Academy. I also know this because I helped build that school. Please understand that its imperative that we make our way to Haven Academy." Ozpin said to Oscar in a pleading tone
"You don't understand anything, I never asked for any of this." Oscar stated to Ozpin
"I know, but this is an opportunity to do a lot of good for the world. I know you've always wanted more out of life other than being a farmhand. This is a chance for you to go out into the world and live up to your potential." Ozpin told Oscar
"How and why would you get inside my head and read my thoughts?" Oscar said in a surprised tone
"They're our thoughts now Oscar, like I said our souls are becoming one with each other." Ozpin stated to Oscar
"How could . . . . get out of my head!" Oscar yelled in a tone of disbelief, unknown to them, A purple cloaked figure was floating outside the window
"The connection is made but the farm boy is still in doubt. Phantom, when he sleeps give Oscar a nudge to convince him of the validity of the connection. But be discreet, Ozpin must not be aware of outside interference." Izanami commanded to Phantom
(Destroyed settlement)
Ruby and her friends have been traveling for a great deal of time. The stop at the inn has given them a chance to sleep on comfortable beds and well made foods. But now that their time at the village inn ended, they proceeded to travel on. Fortunately, after they asked around the village for a couple of hours. They have a good idea of where to go for an airship. But the problem is that not only it will require them to go a significant distance. They will also need to get past an area that brings up memories of the past for both Ren and Nora.
"So how are we looking in terms of travel time?" Ruby asked in a curious tone
"Thanks to the details given to us by the villagers. We should be able to get to an outpost in a few days if we keep up a steady pace. Though if something unexpected were to happen, then at worst the trip should take up an additional couple of weeks." Ren answered Ruby
"That's assuming that the outpost is still standing. Grimm activity has increased since the tournament and we keep coming across many destroyed villages and settlements. If its not the Grimm we have to deal with it's the bandits. We haven't dealt with any bandits yet, but given the Continent we're in. It's only a matter of time until we do." Jin explained to the group
"Come on Jin, would it kill you to be a little cheerful for once. I would ask you to be nice, but that ship has sailed." Nora told Jin
"One of us has to be realistic about our situation. If none of you acknowledges the possibility of things going wrong. Then that means none of you will be prepared for certain scenarios." Jin stated to the group as they were walking.
"From that tone, it sounds like you blame Vale for not being prepared for the Fall of Beacon. Is there something you want to tell us?" Nora asked in a bold tone
"Vale wasn't at fault for things occurring the way they did. The enemy was just a step ahead and knew what they were doing. Something I do not intend to allow twice." Jin said which caused Ruby to have a thoughtful look on her face
"What do you mean by allow twice?" Ruby asked in a curious tone causing Jin to realize his verbal slip up.
"It doesn't matter, lets just keep going. We're making good time with our travel, if we keep this up we'll get to the next Village soon." Jin stated to Ruby before she started to think about that statement a bit more. As they were walking closer to the settlement. They see a lot of destroyed structures. Though when the small group looked further, they see a single masked man with a cloaked girl.
"Does that man seem a little off, or is it just me?" Nora asked the group
"He looks like he's waiting for something. But given the state of this settlement, that's admittedly hard to believe." Ren said
"He might be aa huntsman waiting for a ship. We should see if he's willing to help us." Ruby said in an optimistic tone while Jin looked at the man with caution. It didn't take long for the group to approach the man and once they did. The masked man looked at the group. Despite his face being covered, everyone felt empty from the gaze alone.
"The wielder of the silver eyes. You have arrived here just as I predicted. Though you being accompanied by two insignificant beings and the wielder of the power of order is admittedly unexpected. This does present a good opportunity." Relius said to the group while giving them an empty look. Upon having a better look at the masked man. Ren decided to wield his dual guns and proceeded to approach Relius.
"What do you want with us?" Ren asked while on guard. After asking the question, Jin brought out Yukianesa and was on guard as well.
"Interesting, I supposed this is a good chance for me to see your skill with that Nox Nyctores." Relius said ignoring Ren's question
"Ren, do you know this masked man?" Ruby asked in a curious tone
"I spoke to Jaune before he left. He told me of a masked man and went into detail of what he did. He's the one that attacked Jaune and Noel." Ren answered which surprised the group.
"So you're the one that hurt our friends. I'm going to enjoy breaking your legs you masked creep." Nora said as she wielded her hammer
"I see, so your affiliated with that insignificant speck. He did put up a fight, but it was of no use." Relius said in a tone that has no guilt of any kind.
"You called Yukianesa a Nox Nyctores, what do you mean by that?" Jin asked while on guard
"Because that is what your weapon is. Though Yukianesa is its name, the weapon is a Nox Nyctores." Relius responded
"What do you want with me?" Ruby asked as she grabbed her scythe
"I know who you are Ruby Rose and what your capable of. My name is Relius Clover and I have been sent to retrieve you. Whether or not you come with me peacefully or by force. Doesn't matter to me, as long as your brought back alive." Relius said as the cloaked girl started to stand in front of Relius
"Your going to have to take her by force." Nora said as she stepped forward
"Like that blonde boy and your black haired friend. You are insignificant and your life doesn't matter to me in the slightest. Though I would very much prefer to bring back Jin Kisaragi, the one who wields the Power of Order. For the moment, the wielder of the silver eyes will have to suffice. Besides, I brought something that would give you reason to come with me without a problem." Relius stated as the girl walked further
"Why would I go with you?" Ruby bluntly asked ready for a fight
"Because this would be a chance for you to be reunited with your friend." Relius said before the figure removed her cloak. When Ruby looked at the person, she has a surprised look on her face. The person she's looking at is a friend that Ruby herself saw get killed in such a violent way. An individual that Ruby never thought she would see again.
"P . . . . Penny, is that you?" Ruby asked in a tone of disbelief
"A machine that is capable of utilizing aura is quite an accomplishment. I knew that it would be a shame for it to go to waste without proper experimentation. Therefore, an encounter with a dear friend would be prime for a test. Recovery and repairs were easy, now she is as the machine would say is . . . combat ready." Relius said before Penny started to attack the group.
Once Penny got close to Ruby, she attempted to attack with her blades. Fortunately, Jin was able to defend Ruby who is still shocked at seeing her friend again. Jin was able to quickly and skillfully block a good number of Penny's attacks. Everytime he noticed an opening, he tried to attack. But whenever he did so, Penny would use one of her swords to either block or deflect Jin's attacks.
After a few seconds, Penny was able to knock Jin back a small distance and proceeded to fire her sword lasers at him. Reacting quickly, Jin was able to create an ice wall with Yukianesa and block the laser blasts. As a result, the ice wall was destroyed and Jin used his semblance to launch the ice shards at Penny. Before the ice shards could reach her, Ruby ran to destroy the ice shards with her scythe.
"Ruby, what are you doing?" Jin asked in a surprised tone
"She's not herself Jin, we just have to get through to her." Ruby said before she found herself quickly blocking Penny's attacks.
As Ruby and Jin were dealing with Penny, Nora looked at Relius and decided to dash towards him. Once she got close, she made a motion to attack Relius with her hammer with the intention to take him down in one attack.
"Ignis." Relius muttered before Nora's hammer could reach him. After a brief second, a crimson metallic figure was able to block Nora's attack with relative ease.
"Meet my greatest creation, Ignis. You will soon see that she is more than a match for you two." Relius said before Ignis pushed the hammer away. After Ignis pushed away the hammer, Ignis was able to punch Nora away.
When Nora was punched, Ren dashed in and tried to attack for Relius. Unfortunately, Ignis was able to notice Ren and quickly went for Ren and attack him with her metallic claws. Fortunately, Ren was able to avoid each of Ignis's attacks thanks to his skilled reflexes. However, everytime Ren tried to attack the crimson doll. He would see that Ignis is very durable.
While Ren was occupied with the Crimson Nirvana Ignis. Nora saw this as a chance for her to go and attack Relius again. This time, instead of running towards the masked man. Nora used the grenade function in her hammer and launched herself into the air. After Nora was in the air, she proceeded to dive towards Relius with her hammer. The moment Nora's attack reached the intended target. A strong shockwave was made, and it was felt by everyone nearby. Though the moment the dust settled, Relius could be seen blocking Nora's attack with just his hand and he looked unfazed. After the hammer attack was blocked, Relius moved the hammer out of the way and was able to land a kick on the energetic girl.
"Child, you have no idea of what I'm capable of." Relius said to Nora before he quickly dashed in front of her and proceeded to deliver several quick jabs against her. Nora tried to counterattack against the masked man, but was unable to do so. Because Relius was able to either block or avoid the hammer attacks.
"NORA!" Ren yelled before he proceeded to use his reflexes to avoid the crimson Nirvana and run towards his lifelong friend.
Once Ren got close, he tried to attack Relius at close range. But Relius was able to easily dodge each of Ren's attacks with ease. After dodging several more attacks, Relius was able to quickly grab Ren's wrist and punched him in the stomach and send him back. Seeing this made Nora worried and she proceeded to run and check on her friend. Once she got to him, she was glad to see that he'll be fine. But realized the danger that all of them were in.
"I'm fine, but this man, he's a lot stronger than we though. If we're going to have a chance at beating him. We need to work together and bring him down. If we alternate between fighting him and that crimson doll. We should be able to keep him off balance." Ren told Nora the plan to fight Relius and the crimson Nirvana
"It appears the insignificant specks believe they can best me." Relius said before Ren and Nora charged towards him and Ignis.
(The Fundraiser)
After Weiss gave a heartfelt singing performance that also served as an insult to her father and the way he treats her. She found herself in the estate where her father mingled with the other nobles of Atlus. The auction occurred after the concert and recently ended. Yet as Weiss was looking around the area. She found herself staring at the item that was sold for a record amount of money. The item that Weiss is looking at is a large sculpture of Jin fighting against Beast-Ragna. The plaque on the sculpture has a description that drew more of Weiss's attention.
"Atlus's own hero fighting against the Beast reborn." The plaque read that was on the sculpture
The more Weiss saw this, the more ill Weiss felt within. The concept of the sculpture itself felt both empty and wrong. The day Ragna released his power, he killed many people in the audience that's both civilian and student. Then many students and Huntsmen tried to subdue Beast-Ragna themselves including Ruby and they were all badly beaten. Seeing this made Weiss frustrated at the artists that made this. The artist that made the sculpture chose to use a moment where many people died. Adding insult to injury is that this sculpture was sold for the most lien. Though the proceeds will go to Vale, that only make things bittersweet.
"This feels wrong doesn't it?" Tsubaki asked as she stood beside Weiss as they looked at the sculpture of Jin fighting against Beast-Ragna
"Yes it does, I know that the proceeds will be used to help Vale. But this just feels inappropriate. Like its glorifying the moment that everything went wrong. Like the artist believes that what happened doesn't apply to them." Weiss told Tsubaki her thoughts about the sculpture
"I know, that this is inappropriate. But I believe that the artist was merely ignorant when the subject was chosen. Everyday, many officials are still talking about Ragna and the moment he released his power. It put many Atlus nobles at ease to see Jin, a resident of Atlus subdue Ragna when he went berserk like that. So its to be expected that many people would glorify that when they have the chance. Not to mention that Jin has been granted the title of Hero of Vale. This is still wrong, but the nobles have always been conceited like that." Tsubaki explained before the both of them looked around the room to further prove Tsubaki's point at how conceited the nobles are.
"Of course, nobody knows the full extent of what happened in Vale. But our very own Jin Kisaragi was essential in aiding Vale during its time of need. Like with the Grimm Breach and against the Beast of Remnant." One of the nobles said
"True, but just imagine how essential he would be if he'd have stayed here in Atlus. In a few months, he would have reached a favorable rank within the military." Another Noble said before Weiss looked towards her father talking with a few other nobles
"I don't understand the full grievances that the Faunus has with the SDC. I mean, the Faunus are given jobs that most other companies wouldn't even try to do. Sure there are some danger that comes with the job. But that's to be expected when handling dust." Another Noble said during the conversation.
"The SDC has been nothing but fair to the Faunus. I believe the problem is the economic difference between the Kingdoms. I mean, can you see the common technological advancements that Atlus has compared to a Kingdom like Mistral. Sure Ronin-Gai is catching up, but that place isn't even a Kingdom." Another noble said
"Nobody asked those Faunus to move to our Kingdom. The SDC is the only business that's even willing to give equal jobs to the Faunus despite the White Fang being terrorists." Another Noble said
"Thank you for the words of praise, it sounds like that I'm the good guy again." Jacques said causing him and the other nobles to chuckle at the statements
"I see what you mean about how conceited they are. Seeing them talk about things that ultimately mean nothing is infuriating. How do you not get angry and try to tear their heads off?" Weiss asked Tsubaki
"As a noble of Atlus, I believe that I must do my part to maintain order by setting a strong example for the people. I do admit to getting tempted by my rage. But what helps me keep my anger at bay is that I do need to set an example. Besides, being here isn't so bad, because my team is with me." Tsubaki said as she pointed towards her teammates enjoying the food and drinks.
"It's nice to be with your team huh?" Weiss told Tsubaki while thinking about her own team. Before Weiss thought about things further. The both of them overheard a conversation that gained their attention.
"If Vale was so arrogant as to allow that monster to attend their school I say good riddance. If you ask me t hey got exactly what they deserved." A trophy Wife said boldly
"Honey please, now isn't the best time for this." The noble husband said awkwardly
"Oh please, you said this last night. Vale didn't have the proper defenses and made too many careless mistakes. They chose negligence and stupidity and got exactly what they deserved. Besides, if the message about the Hero of Vale being the brother to theBeast of Remnant is true? Then that explains the power the Hero has." The Trophy Wife said which angered Weiss while Tsubaki was tranquil about it
"HOW DARE YOU! A lot of people died that day. While everyone here is doing nothing but talk about the things that doesn't even matter. Like your money, or status, or your influence. I can't stop you from talking about something so pointless. But don't you DARE talk down on a Kingdom that did nothing wrong!" Weiss yelled before Tsubaki stepped in trying to diffuse the situation
"Ma'am, it is true that nobody can stop you from having such an ignorant opinion about the Kingdom of Vale. But I would advise that you keep such opinions to yourself. After all, the purpose of this Fundraiser is to raise fund with the intention of aiding a Vale, during its time of need. So it would be very inappropriate for you to make such nasty comments." Tsubaki explained to the woman calmly and with dignity
"Please, I don't need a lecture from a genetic freak like you. I know about the rumors about how selective your family is." The Trophy Wife said frustrating Tsubaki
"I must advise you further that you watch your words." Tsubaki said in a frustrated tone causing the Trophy Wife to snicker. Before Tsubaki can say or do anything further, Mai stepped in
"Calm down you two, someone like her isn't worth it." Mai said to the two girls calming them down and preventing them from doing something destructive
"Thank you Mai, I'm sorry that I almost lost my composure." Tsubaki said in a grateful tone. Before Mai could respond, the Trophy Wife spoke further
"Oh look, another genetic freak in the party. I'm honestly surprised that they let you of all people in here. Didn't you used to be a boy?" The Trophy Wife said which stunned several people that heard
"Wha . . . . what did you say?" Mai said in a shocked tone
"Oh come on, anyone who uses their brains could figure it out. The Hazuki family has a son that suddenly goes missing. Now they have a daughter that's the exact same age and has a similar appearance." The Trophy wife said which stunned people even further. When the three girls looked around, they noticed many people whispering among themselves.
"I . . . . I'm . . . . ." Mai said before Kagura stepped in with Hibiki with the both of them wearing a tuxedo.
"I heard the whole thing and I don't take kindly to people talking down on my friends or teammates." Kagura said while giving the Trophy Wife a glare
"Kagura . . . . I . . . ." Mai said before Kagura looked at her with a smile
"This doesn't change a thing, if anything. I have an excuse to compliment you on how hot you look Mai." Kagura told Mai giving a thumbs up with a smile before giving a glare to the Trophy Wife and her husband.
"You need to do something about your trophy wife. She's likely to get her teeth knocked out with that damn mouth and attitude of hers." Kagura told the husband before the Trophy Wife got mad.
"Your right and I'm sorry for her words and attitude." The Husband said before the Trophy Wife spoke further
"Who do you think you are talking to us like that?" The Trophy Wife asked Kagura
"I thought a trophy wife is supposed to look good and be quiet. So I would appreciate it if you could do one of things right. Preferably for you to be quiet and not speak a word. To answer your earlier question, Me and my team were risking our lives protecting Vale while fighting the Grimm. I dare you to face what we've seen, you wouldn't last a minute out there and that's if your lucky." Kagura told the Trophy Wife angering her further. Before things could escalate, Jacques stepped in and tried to get Weiss away.
"It's time for you to go." Jacques told Weiss as he grabbed her
"Let go of me." Weiss said to her father
"Your embarrassing the family." Jacques stated as he tried to get her away
"I SAID LET GO!" Weiss said before she jerked her arm away and unintentionally summoned a glyph. As the glyph was summoned a large white Ursa Grimm was summoned and made a ravenous look at the Trophy Wife.
"Please, I'm sorry, just don't hurt me." The Trophy Wife said in a panicked tone before the summoned Ursa dashed towards the woman. Before the Summoned Ursa could hurt her, Ky quickly ran past the summoned Grimm and was able to quickly cut it down with a swing of his sword.
"Thank you." Weiss said in a grateful tone to Ky preventing a situation from getting worse
"No need to thank me." Ky said before he turned to the Trophy Wife
"ARREST HER, ARREST ALL OF THEM!" The Trophy Wife yelled causing Ky to speak up
"Ma'am, I apologize for what happened earlier. But you can clearly see that this was an accident and it would be good if you . . . ." Ky said before the Trophy Wife interrupted
"An accident, I could have been killed! I demand that you arrest her!" The Trophy Wife yelled further
"Under what grounds." General Ironwood said as he was stepping in
"For trying to attack me obviously." The Trophy Wife said
"The only thing she did was make sense around here. If anything, you should be arrested for provoking the situation. Including but not limited to trying to bring people down." General Ironwood said before he turned to the young group
"Kagura, I'm proud that you stood up for your team. I see that you have the makings of an excellent leader." General Ironwood said before he turned to Mai and Tsubaki
"The both of you have proven yourselves to be honorable and capable. So don't let someone like her bring you two down." General Ironwood said before he turned to Jacques
"Thank you General." Mai responded
"Thanks for the party Jacques, its time I take my leave. Ky, I will see you tomorrow." General Ironwood said before he started to leave
"Do you have business with the General?" Weiss asked Ky
"Oh that's right, I've become an official licensed Huntsman and I work under General Ironwood." Ky told Weiss and the others that's nearby
"Congratulations." Weiss said before she noticed that she's receiving a glare from her father
"Will you be alright Weiss?" Tsubaki asked in a concerned tone
"I'll be fine." Weiss responded as she looked at her father
(Anima Forest)
Team RBAL have made significant progress on their plan to get to the mountain. The good news is that if they keep this pace going. They'll be able to make it to the foot of the Mountain by nightfall. Making things even better is that according to the map, there is a Village called Terabo near the outpost. If they make it to the Village, they can both rest and get supplies before they get to the Outpost and raise for an airship. As the group were walking, Lambda felt a presence and they were getting closer to them.
"Wait." Lambda said stopping the group from walking further
"is there something wrong?" Jaune asked in a concerned tone
"I feel a presence, someone is approaching us. I don't know who, but the person is very strong." Lambda said before a couple of Beowolf Grimm appeared before them. When they looked at the Grimm further. They noticed that its entirely white with some tint of light blue. When Ragna looked at this, he instinctively grabbed his sword. Because he knew that this wasn't a good sign.
"Is this a new breed of Grimm?" Bang asked before he brought out his wrist blades
"No, I've seen something like this before and its from someone I did not want to see. Weiss's sister is here." Ragna said before Winter stepped out of the shade of trees and started to approach the group.
"I'm pleased that you remember me Ragna the Bloodedge. This saves me the time from having to introduce myself." Winter said while giving Ragna a focused gaze
"Wait, since your Weiss's sister. Then that means you can listen to us, maybe even help us." Jaune said before Bullet stepped forward
"Wishful thinking Jaune, the fact that she summoned those things and is armed makes it clear she's not willing to listen." Bullet said causing Winter to shake her head
"Not entirely true, how this ends depends entirely on Ragna." Winter responded before she started to look at Ragna
"What you've done during the tournament has no doubt gotten you a lot of attention. I have been tasked with bringing you back to Atlus as a person of interest." Winter told Ragna
"If I don't go back to Atlus with you?" Ragna said while giving Winter a gaze of his own
"Then we pick up where we left off." Winter said as she drew her sword
"Bring it." Ragna said before he fired an energy blast from his sword at Winter
Reacting quickly, Winter was able to jump over the energy blast and dashed towards Ragna. Once the two got close, the both of them started to furiously fight against each other with their swords. The both of them were putting pressure to each other and neither side were backing down.
Before the others could help Ragna, the two summoned Beowolves attacked the rest of team RBAL. Bang and Jaune were occupied with one. While Bullet and Lambda were occupied with another. The young students found out to their unfortunate surprise that the summoned Grimm are a lot stronger and more durable than the usual Grimm they come across.
When the Beowolf Grimm made its attack. Jaune was able to deflect the attack with his shield. After the claw attack were deflected, Jaune jumped back and raised his shield up. Once he did so, Bang jumped off of the shield and used the gravity dust in his leg braces to perform a dive kick to the summoned Beowolf and destroyed it.
Both Bullet and Lambda spent time avoiding the summoned Grimm's attacks. When several more attacks were avoided, Bullet managed to deliver several strong jabs at the stomach of the summoned Grimm and was able to stagger it. The summoned Beowolf staggered state gave Lambda the opening to quickly cut it down with her dual swords. After a few seconds, the summoned Grimm was quickly destroyed.
"Ragna needs assistance." Lambda said casuing her and Bullet to look at Ragna fighting against Winter
Both Ragna and Winter have spent a good deal of time fighting against each other with their swords. Winter hated to admit it, but she sees that Ragn has gotten a lot stronger since the last time they fought and he was already skilled and strong back then. After the two clashed blades once again. The both of them were able to hold their ground against each other.
While Ragna and Winter clashed against each other, Bullet decided to leap towards the two with the plan to attack Winter with a single punch. Before she could get close, a large figure jumped from the forest and was able to grab Bullet. After Bullet was grabbed, she quickly found herself being slammed to the ground with a great deal of force. After Bullet was slammed, the large figure jumped back and was facing Jaune, Bang, and Lambda. Bullet was able to quickly recover and took a look at the large man. The large man that appeared is wearing large metallic gauntlet and a metal helmet. What makes him stand out even more is that he is wearing a large green coat.
"Oh no." Bullet said which got Bang's attention
"Do you know him?" Bang asked in a curious tone
"My mentor has several run ins with him. His name is Potemkin and he is not to be taken lightly." Bullet answered while keeping her eyes on the new threat
"I see that your affiliated with Iron Tager. I do not wish for this unnecessary violence to continue. Have Ragna come with us peacefully and this will be resolved." Potemkin told the group
"Never." Ragna said before he jumped back and proceeded to fire his sword blasts at Winter
Winter was able avoid the energy blasts by running to the side. As Winter avoided the energy blast. She proceeded to summon several birds and sent them to surround Ragna. The summoned birds were able to disorient Ragna and he stopped firing at Winter and found himself dealing with the summoned birds. While Ragna was distracted, Winter dashed towards Ragna was proceeded to attack him with the opening she has. The attacks were able to stagger Ragna for a second, but he was able to quickly recover and tried to attack Winter.
Unfortunately, Winter focused on being on the defensive and proceeded to avoid Ragna's attacks. Though his attacks are much faster than she anticipated. Winter was able to avoid the attacks and maintain her ground. The reason Winter is avoiding Ragna's attacks as much as possible. Is that ever since their first fight, Winter remembers that Ragna has to absorb her aura with his semblance in order for him to copy her glyphs. Before leaving for the mission to bring back Ragna. Winter has watched Ragna's fights during the tournament to prepare for the retrieval. She noticed that in order for Ragna to use his semblance, he needs to release his seal and attack the individual. Winter figured out that as long as she keeps up the attack pressure and don't give Ragna any breathing room. She'll be able to subdue him without too much trouble.
While Ragna and Winter were fighting, the rest of team RBAL were focused on Potemkin. Bullet decided to fire a blast from her Gauntlet at the large man. Though before the blast could reach him, he flicked his finger at the energy blast and it was redirected back to Bullet. Reacting quickly, Jaune stood in front of Bullet and was able to block the redirected energy blast with his shield.
After the blast was blocked, Bang started to dash towards Potemkin and tried to land an attack. Unfortunately, Potemkin proceeded to block all of Bang's attacks using his superior reaction speed. Once several more of Bang's attacks were blocked, Potemkin was able to grab Bang's wrist and tossed him briefly into the air. Before Bang could land, Potemkin proceeded to land several strong jabs at Bang before he was sent flying back.
Lambda decided to use her speed and agility to run around the large man and proceeded to fire at him with her dual gun swords. Figuring out her plan, Potemkin pressed a button on his gauntlet and used the light dust inside to create a barrier that protected him from Lambda's gun shots. After a few seconds, Potemkin predicted where Lambda would be and proceeded to quickly dash towards her and knocked her back a good distance.
Jaune proceeded to run towards Potemkin and tried to attack him with his sword. Unfortunately, Potemkin was unfazed by Jaune's sword attacks and reacted by simply punching Jaune in the stomach and it was enough to knock him back a small distance.
"This guy is pretty tough, do you have any ideas?" Jaune asked as he was looking at Bullet
"I saw him on the field with my commander a couple of times but I've never seen him fight. Tager fought him a couple of times and they always end in a draw." Bullet answered
"Then the best course of action we have is to overpower him. FU-RIN-KA-ZAN!" Bang yelled activating his semblance and proceeded to charge towards Potemkin.
Before long, two fists clashed against each other and a shockwave soon followed. After the shockwave stopped, Bang proceeded to use his increased speed to attack Potemkin from different areas. Unfortunately, Bang was unable to find a weak spot and before Bang could do anything further. Potemkin was able to quickly grab Bang and lift him up into the air. Before Bang had the chance to break free, a part of Potemkin's gauntlet glowed and a brief second later. There was a large explosion that came from the Gauntlet and Bang was trapped in it. After the explosion dissipated, Potemkin tossed Bang forward. The Ronin-Gai Ninja was able to recover, but he's visibly injured.
"It appears I must use the next level of my semblance." Bang said before Jaune spoke up
"But if you use it, it'll quickly burn through your aura. We don't even know if it'll work against this guy." Jaune said in a concerned tone
"It's worth the risk, those two are here for Ragna and we can't let them take him. FU-RIN-KA-ZAN V2!" Bang yelled before he generated a great deal aura and several markings appeared over his body
After the second level of his semblance was activated. Bang proceeded to directly attack Potemkin. The large man was able to endure the direct attack. But quickly found himself being slightly knocked back. Once Bang was knocked back, Potemkin decided to keep up the pressure and proceeded to rapidly punch him. Fortunately, Bang was able to endure the attack and after a few seconds, he was able to use his speed and get behind Potemkin. After doing so, Bang grabbed the large man and tossed him into the air as best as he could. Once he did so, he looed towards Bullet.
"DO IT!" Bang yelled causing Bullet to nod.
After Bullet nodded, she put both of her gauntlets together with both of her arms. After she did so, both of the gauntlets started to get attached to each other. Once thy were attached, a newly formed weapon was made and Bullet aimed it at the large man. After she did so, Bullet proceeded to fire a powerful energy cannon at Potemkin while Bang quickly moved out of the way. Before Potemkin could do anything, he was caught in the energy cannon blast. After a few seconds, the cannon blast dissipated and the large man stood motionless while Bullet's aura flickered.
"He's down, now lets go help Ragna." Jaune said before Potemkin started move and surprised the group.
Before any of them could do anything, Potemkin quickly ran towards Bang and proceeded to grab him. After Potemkin grabbed Bang, the large man used the yellow dust jets and started to launch himself into the air. While Potemkin was in the air, he proceeded to spin around in the air while still holding on to Bang with a powerful grip. While the large man was spinning, the fire dust within Potemkin's gauntlet and armor started to burst as he was diving to the ground while holding on to Bang.
"POTEMKIN BUSTER!" Potemkin yelled out before he smashed the ground with Bang.
Once Potemkin landed, a large explosion soon followed that managed to get the attention of both Ragna and Winter. The moment the explosion dissipated, Potemkin was still standing and among him were the rest of team RBAL. Bullet and Bang were unconscious and their aura had been broken. While both Jaune and Lambda were visibly injured but their aura flickered for a bit. Indicating that their aura is close to breaking.
"It brings me no pleasure to do this to your friends. It is clear that they are only helping you but I had to do what I needed to do. If you come with us, I will give your friends first aid before we depart. So that they will not be at immediate risk of the Grimm." Potemkin briefly explained to Ragna
"This is your last chance to surrender Ragna. Your outnumbered and clearly outmatched. As long as you continue to do the things you do. Your not helping anyone but yourself and putting yourself above the greater good. Now there is blood on your hands and all of Remnant want you dead. Surrender and do the right thing for once." Winter told Ragna causing him to chuckle.
"You don't know a damn thing about me. But since its now two against one, I have a reason to use more of my strength. A fair warning Winter, I've gotten a lot stronger since we last fought. So I can handle you two without worrying about collateral damage. June, Lambda, take care of Bang and Bullet, make sure their safe." Ragna said before he raised his right arm.
"RESTRICTION RELEASE, SECOND SEAL!" Ragna yelled before he released a large surge of power which surprised both Winter and Potemkin
"My semblance has gotten a lot stronger these past few months. So much so that a second seal was made to supress more of my power. I was saving this for the bastards that ruined my life. But now I see that you two will be a good test run." Ragna said before he clashed blades with Winter before knocking her back
(Destroyed Settlement)
Jin and Ruby spent a good deal of time fighting against Penny. The good news is that the both of them are able to hold their own against the robotic girl. The problem is that Jin is unable to land a crucial blow to Penny because of two factors. The first factor is that Penny is able to perfectly utilize her multiple blades for both offense and defense simultaneously. Though Jin is strong, his semblance and his sword Yukianesa does have limits and against someone like Penny. Those limits start to become clear in an extended fight against her. The second factor is that Ruby has spent the duration of the fight trying to get through to Penny. It frustrates Jin greatly at how Ruby could be so naïve in trying to help her friend. Whatever Relius has done, he's using the Penny as a robot and any connection the two has made is no longer relevant. Because simply put, Penny is not herself.
Ruby spent time blocking more of Penny's sword attacks with her scythe. Once Penny realized her scythe attacks were going to continuously be blocked. She proceeded to fire her sword lasers at the two. Both Ruby and Jin spent several seconds deflecting the lasers with their weapons. After Ruby deflected several lasers, she used her semblance to get closer to Penny and managed to land several hits against Penny while holding back. In turn, Penny was on the defensive and spent time blocking Ruby's attacks.
Before she could try to overwhelm Rub with her many swords. She ended up defending herself even further from Jin's close quarters attacks. With Ruby's speed and Jin's precision, the both of them were able to eventually wear down Penny and once an opening was noticed. Jin was able to freeze the bottom half of Penny's body with Yukianesa. Before Jin could finish her off, Ruby blocked Jin's attack with her scythe.
"No, something's wrong and Penny isn't herself. We can help her, I know we can." Ruby told Jin in a pleading tone
"That girl is a threat to us, whatever form of friendship you have with her doesn't matter now. Because if we do nothing she will kill us. I see that she's being controlled because she's a machine. But right now you have to forget for a moment that she's your friend. We have to destroy her before she kills us or hurt someone else." Jin stated which angered Ruby
"That's easy for you to say. You don't care about anyone!" Ruby told Jin before Penny broke out of the ice.
"How touching." Relius said getting the attention of both Ruby and Jin. When they looked at Relius, they noticed the crimson metallic doll holding up both Ren and Nora. After being noticed, Ignis threw the two on the ground while still standing over the two.
"It appears the machine isn't held down by emotional nuisances. While also performing as I had expected of her." Relius said before he started to approach the two. Before he got too close, Relius instinctively jumped back to avoid an attack from a male figure. When the male figure came into better view, Ruby smiled happily at seeing a friendly face.
"Uncle Qrow." Ruby said happily at the sight of her uncle
"Hey kiddo." Qrow said before he turned to face Relius
"Another insignificant speck, albeit one who is of considerable interest." Relius said in a calm tone while facing Qrow

For the scene and major reveals in Atlus
I've noticed in many stories, movies, and shows that when it comes to nobles. Any secret they may have very easily becomes rumors very quickly. With the secrets regarding Tsubaki and Mai, anyone who looks deeply into it will eventually be able to figure it out. Since this stuff has been confirmed in Blazblue canon, then the details will certainly make there way into the story. The nobles will either treat it as a rumor or they will make use it as a topic for occasional gossip. Besided, I'd like to imagine that many nobles within Atlus have their own secrets that also a topic for rumors. So as long as they don't make a big fuss about certain families, then their skeletons will stay in the closet.
Also, Ky Kiske is an official Huntsman and is working in Atlus for the militry. The rest of his team is also in Atlus but Sol prefers to spend most of his time away from the Nobles. The other characters that's living in Atlus right now aside from Ky and the rest of his team. Are Axl Low, and the Valentine sisters. There's a good reason I'm mentioning them but that's a secret that I'm not going to reveal yet.
For the return of a certain character
Before Relius left Vale, he made his way to the arena and recovered Penny's remains. Since she's a robot that can use aura, it would be possible for Relius to be interested. Also if Ruby knows the things Relius has done, for example to his wife and daughter. Then making Penny fight her friends will be tame by comparison.
One of the biggest complaints I've seen regarding Penny's return is that she was able to return with everything intact including her memories. Which in turn, hurts the stakes that the characters have in the show and makes death either temporary or inconsequential. So after looking at some of my concepts, I've decided to handle things differently with Penny. I still have several more surprises for the situation regarding Penny in Volume 7. But I don't want to spoil the surprises just yet. But this does fall in line with my plans to divert from Volume 7.
In the RWBY series, I've never seen Ruby fight someone she considers a friend in a life or death situation. Since seeing Penny die in a gruesome fashion affected her greatly. Both in the show and in this story. I figured Ruby would try to get through to Penny despite her being controlled by Relius.
For Ren and Nora fighting and losing against Relius. It's been established in the Blazblue series that Relius is one of the strongest characters in the series. Its even been confirmed that he can go toe to toe against Valkenhayn and that the two were rivals at one point. Ren and Nora held their ground, but against someone like Relius they never stood a chance.
Ragna's semblance has gotten much stronger ever since the fall of Beacon. So when he yells restriction release, he's able to use his semblance. When he yells out second seal, he essentially uses level 2 of his full power. The difference is that he becomes a lot stronger than before. He can also release the first or second level of his seal without speaking but it's a bit harder for him to do so. He can also still use the Bloodedge function of his sword.
I would like to give a shout-out to Unsung Senpai for giving me the idea to bring in Potemkin. Since Winter is going up against someone very powerful, it would make sense for her to bring in someone who can help. In this story, Potemkin is a very powerful character. By comparison, he's on par with Tager in terms of raw power. Also, Potemkin is a Sergeant Major in the Atlus Army. Since this is a special mission from General Ironwood and has a great deal of importance. Potemkin was more than willing to help Winter.
Another shout-out I want to give is to a story called Blazblue Alternative: Remnant by SsjSega. The story changes things up from RWBY canon while also stay true to the spirit of both series with a different style.
