(A/N) I'm going to switch away from the main story for a couple of reasons. The main reason is that after looking at the main drafts I have for volume 4 of this story. It looks like I'll be finished with volume 4 much sooner than I thought.
The second reason is that this will give me a chance to implement a relaxing chapter and give you guys a break from all the drama of what's currently going on. While also giving me a chance to present you with something until the main chapter is ready, either the main story or a side chapter that is canon to the story. I do miss writing chapters where the characters can just hang out with each other. But given everything that's going on with the characters in Volume 4, the hang out chapters won't happen until the story gets to Volume 5.
A couple of quick warnings, for starters the chibi chapters will not be as long as my usual chapters. The second heads up is that comedy is not one of my greatest strengths and I'm always open to tips and ideas.
Gag Chapter 1
(Intro Video)
"It is important for many veteran Huntsman to get in touch with the community. Therefore for your current project. You will all need to an intro video." Professor Port told the entire class causing everyone to cheer
"WAHOOO! We get to do something cool in this class and show off how amazing we are." Ruby said excitedly before Professor Port continued
"Each team can do a video that introduces each individual or the entirety of their whole team. The intro videos will be due next week, and they should not last longer than 5 minutes. So I hope that you all give it your best shot." Professor Port said before class ended
"Yes, we will finally have a chance to display the style and finesse that team RWBY is fully capable of. No team will be able to compare to us." Ruby said in a competitive tone
Oh please, team JNPR have more variety and style than any of you. I mean come on, we have a world champion. That's bound to present some pizzazz and style." Nora said with a lot of energy
"Besides, I happen to have a lot of skills and confidence in my directing skills. For I happen to have a very artistic eye." Jaune said with confidence
"Then was your bunny pajamas an artistic choice Jaune or are you trying to bring back onesies as new style?" Yang said causing Ruby to snicker
"Your both beat, if anyone has a talent for presentation its . . ." Bullet said before Bang suddenly jumped in
"YES! A chance to introduce the school to the noble protector Bang Shishigami. I shall present a video that is worthy of praise. For I am a protector of love and justice and I refuse to bring down the name of a noble profession." Bang said with a lot of enthusiasm
"Told you." Bullet said confidently while giving a smirk to Yang
"Presentation means nothing without talent, and it just so happens that we have some experience directing the little younglings of Atlus stage play." Makoto said confidently
"Wasn't Tsubaki the main one in charge of that play and we just helped her occasionally?" Noel asked causing the others to snicker
"Not helping our case." Makoto quickly said
"Oh really, then what about the brothers who fight each other all the time?" Ruby said before a dustcloud of Ragna and Jin fighting came by
"There's no way your directing this project Jin!" Ragna yelled while in the fighting dust cloud
"Like your grades, it will be nothing but disappointing!" Jin said while in the fighting dust cloud
"Well that just means, it will be a fair challenge." Makoto said with confidence
"This will also give m a chance to do my poetry." Noel said with enthusiasm
"Maybe we should just stick with intros." Makoto quickly said
"Alright then, let's have our video showing next week here in class. Then we'll prove how incredible team RWBY is." Ruby said in a confident tone
"Your on!" Makoto, Bullet, and Jaune said before they left
(One week Later)
"Alright everyone, I'm glad to see that you all have your intro videos. Now lets start with team RWBY's intro video." Professor Port said before he started team RWBY's intro video
(Team RWBY's Video)
"We are team RWBY, named after a jewel because each of us have style and substance." A female voiceover said (which is obviously Ruby)
"Ruby." Ruby said as she used her semblance to dash into the screen leaving behind a lot of rose pedals.
"Weiss." Weiss said as she started to jump in using her glyphs
"Blake." Blake said before she jumped in through the shadows with her sword in hand
"Last but not least, Yang. Blasting to the scene with an explosive entrance." Yang said as she burst in but her explosive blast destroyed the background of the set.
(Next Cut)
"And I'm Yang, showing that I'm too hot to handle." Yang said oblivious to the background being on fire
"WEISS PUT THE FIRE OUT!" Blake yelled before Yang chuckled nervously
"Um, at least it was a dynamic entry." Yang said awkwardly before Weis started to yell
"Yang, we told you a dozen times that you need to watch it with your entries." Weiss said scolding her teammate
"But you have to admit that it was still pretty cool." Yang said with some confidence
"It's still too much, besides we told you to cool it with the puns." Weiss said arguing her point
"My puns are pure gold and will most certainly add to the charm and appeal." Yang said arguing with Weiss
"Since sis is doing that, I have a few ideas I want to use for my entrance." Ruby said before a three way argument occurred.
"Ugh, thank goodness for editing." Blake said before the video ended
(The classroom)
"Ruby, please tell me this is our imagination and you didn't forget to edit the video." Weiss said in an awkward tone
"I didn't forget to edit it, I just never got around to cutting out certain parts." Ruby said in an embarrassed tone
"UGH!" Weiss said embarrassed at what was shown
"Well look on the bright side ladies. Your entry video stood out to everyone. Now team JNPR is next." Professor Port said before starting team JNPR's intro video
(Team JNPR's intro video)
"Are you ready for a dynamic team that has it all. Then get ready for team JNPR, a team that's unlike anything you've seen before." Nora announced with a great deal of enthusiasm before she continued
"First we have Jaune, our charismatic leader armed with a sword and shield. Who knows how to take a beating and shrug it off like its nothing." Nora proudly stated in the video
"Wait what?" Jaune asked in a confused tone in the video before Nora continued as the video announcer
"From being able to outrun a rockslide like its nothing." Nora stated while Jaune was running
"AAAAHHHHHHH!" Jaune yelled while trying to outrun the falling boulders that were getting closer to him
"Capable of beating all forms of dangerous creatures with his hands tied behind his back." Nora proudly said while Jaune looked at the Grimm nervously while the Grimm looked at him with a hungry look
"Um . . . help." Jaune said only to be mauled by the Grimm while yelling in pain
"To looking really good in a dress." Nora said before the video showed Jaune in a dress
"This dress does look good on me." Jaune said in a happy tone
"I'll be sure to thank your sisters after they get a copy of this video." Nora said to Jaune
"WAIT NORA!" Jaune yelled before it was cut to Nora herself on the screen
"Secondly we have Nora, the most thunderous girl any of you will ever see. Who can bench five of herself." Nora said as she was doing several bench presses
"Who is also rocking an amazing hammer that crush any creature in the world." Nora said in the video while Nora herself looked at the Grimm with a big grin while the Grimm looked at Nora nervously. Before they proceeded to get smashed by Nora herself. Before it cut to Ren
"Then we have Ren, who is an awesome ninja and can do all sorts cool flips and tricks." Nora announced in the video while Ren looked at an obstacle course.
After seeing the obstacle course, Ren proceeded to quickly maneuver around the obstacle course. Though the course was more challenging than expected, he was able to clear it. After he cleared the obstacle course, Nora started to speak up in the video.
"See, he has skill, agility, and amazing moves. That obstacle course was childs play wasn't it?" Nora asked Ren
"Well actually . . ." Ren said before the video cut to Pyrrha
"And saving the absolute best for last, is Pyrrha Nikos. Who is a world champion and is the perfect combination of beauty, strength, and brains." Nora said as Pyrrha started to destroy the various Grimm that showed up on the video.
"Witness the amazing skill and finesse she displays as she decimates the Grimm and look good while doing it." Nora said with enthusiasm
"Thank you Nora." Pyrrha said in the video in a humble tone
"YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK!" Nora yelled in the video
"Sorry." Pyrrha quickly said in an apologetic tone before the video cut to the team name
"Team JNPR, no need to see the rest cause you've seen the best." Nora announced in the video before it ended.
(The Classroom)
"That intro video was wonderful, it has such dynamic passion my words can't do it justice. I like it, I expect nothing less from the team that has my favorite students." Professor Port said praising the video
"I'm glad you like it Professor, your praise makes it worth all this pain." Jaune said before everyone sees that he's in a body cast.
"If you like that Professor, just wait until you see the other ideas I have." Nora quickly said
"NO!" Team JNPR quickly yelled causing Nora to pout
"Well up next is team BLST, ooh I wonder what this will be like." Professor Port said before he started Team BLST's intro video
(Team BLST's Intro Video)
"I am Bang Shishigami, leader of team BLST and a protector of love and justice." Bang said after he made his entrance
"Bullet, the destructive member of team BLST." Bullet said in the video as she punched her fist to her hand. After Bullet spoke, it cut towards a slim figure with cherry blossom pedals falling around the person. Who is also wearing a pink robe and is holding a pink parasol.
"Presenting the most fabulous and stylish member of team BLST. Who graces the stage and the battlefield. I'm 17 years old and single. A hobby I'm passionate about is dancing especially with elegance. My favorite color is pink with purple being my second favorite color. My name is Amane Nishiki and don't you forget it." Amane said before he winked at the camera
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING, JUST INTRODUCE YOURSELF NORMALLY!" Bullet yelled at Amane
"Yeah if I had to cut down on my speech you need to cut down on your entrance." Bang spoke up to Amane
"You can't expect me to cut down my elegance and style for the video. I refuse to deny the audience my splendor." Amane said defending himself to Bang and Bullet
"Not only is it too long, but you're also acting like a diva. This is just like you spending 2 hours on your make-up again." Bullet argued to Amane
"Can you blame me for wanting to look good for the cameras. I must be prepared to give the world my radiance." Amane said with a good deal of confidence
"Meow, can it be my turn now?" Tao asked popping into the camera
"No Tao, we're just going to have to start all over. Cut the camera." Bang said before Tao proceeded to bring out her claws
"Tao not literally, come back I'll do it." Bang quickly said before the camera cut off after it fell to the ground.
(The Classroom)
After team BLST's video was finished, the entire class gave a silent yet awkward look at team BLST. Bang tried to maintain a confident smile. Tao looked clueless at what happened and enjoyed the video. Amane looked happy at the fact that his intro was played and Bullet simply pinched the bridge of her nose in embarrassment.
"Do you know what the sad thing about this is? It was either this, or the numerous other attempts where Tao forgets her lines. Or Bang becomes a stuttering wreck who's camera shy." Bullet said which surprised everyone
"Well, Amane's elegance did bring a certain appeal to the video. I wish Tao did a bit more but overall I like it." Professor Port said in a happy tone
"Told you my entrance would help the video." Amane happily said
"Now we present team RJNN's video." Professor Port said before he started the video
(Team RJNN's Video)
"Makoto Nanaya, the brawler." Makoto said before she threw some punches in the video
"Noel Vermillion, the gunslinger." Noel said before she proceeded to fire her guns at several directions and did a pose with Makoto
"Jin Kisaragi the . . . ." Jin said before Ragna tackled him and some punches could be heard in the background
"THAT'S FOR TAKING THE LAST SLICE OF PIZZA JIN!" Ragna yelled
"BE FASTER FOR THE FOOD NEXT TIME BROTHER!" Jin said while more punches could be heard
"Ragna the Bloodedge, I'm the . . . ." Ragna said before Jin froze him and kicked him to the side of the screen
"This is for losing my favorite book brother!" Jin yelled while punches could be heard in the background
"Keep better track of your stuff crybaby!" Ragna yelled while the punches were being made
"We're team RJNN." Makoto said in an embarrassed tone while Noel awkwardly laughed to ease the tension
(The Classroom)
"We did over 28 takes and at the end of it all. That was the best one we could make." Makoto said in an embarrassed tone
"Sir, are we going to be graded on this?" Weiss asked in a nervous tone
"I never said that this would count towards your grade." Professor Port said which relieved half the class
"These video's will be viewed by the Headmaster so he can see the team dynamic you all have." Professor Port said which surprised everyone
"WHAAAAT!" Some of the students yelled
(Professor Ozpin's Office)
"What do you think sir." Professor Goodwitch asked Ozpin after he watched the last of the intro videos
"Honestly Glynda, these are a lot better than I expected and its much better than our recruitment video from last year." Professor Ozpin said as he drank his coffee
"Ugh, don't remind me, half the faculty still refuses to do another one unless we're near the fire department." Professor Goodwitch said while watching the videos
