(A/N) Thanks to the answers I was given in the reviews. I have a general idea of how to approach the Volume 5 portion of this story. Also there are going to be some diversions from canon in this story for Volume 5. Some will be minor and some will be major and I can't wait to get to those points.
Chapter 73 Report

Cinder spent several weeks fighting the Grimm for training, after she made good progress on her recovery. Every one of Cinder's attacks has managed to destroy the Grimm with a great deal of intensity. With a good number of them being enhanced with her powers as a Maiden. As Cinder was training, Salem was nearby to observe Cinder's training and noticed that there was a lot of emotional drive behind each attack. Each time stopped to take a moment of rest since her training started. A single image plagued her mind that drove her to train even harder with her powers.
"DIE, YOU BITCH!" A distorted voice said that Cinder remembers all too clearly before she went continued to fight against the nearby Grimm.
Every Grimm that Cinder kills, she imagines that its Ragna that she is killing. The image of seeing Ragna laying down dead beneath her. As a charred corpse fills Cinder with a sense of resolve to make that imagination a reality. She knows that he has a great power within, as she also knows that Salem doesn't want her to do anything that will put Nu at risk of being killed. But Cinder has a plan to deal with this command. For if Ragan and Cinder were to ever cross paths and he was to attack her. Then she would have no choice but to defend herself.
"I see your training diligently with your powers Cinder." Relius said as he entered the room after Cinder killed another Beowolf Grimm
"Relius, seeing you here empty handed doesn't bode well for you. I hope you're not trying to convince me to let you be in Salem's graces after failing a mission you volunteered for." Cinder said in a mocking tone
"On the contrary, myself and Ignis had just arrived and were on our way to her. It was merely a coincidence that I ran into you while you were training. Do you know where she is at this moment?" Relius asked causing Cinder to take him to Salem
It didn't take the two long to get to Salem. The both of them arrived at the room where they had their meeting and Salem is simply sitting on a table in from of a crystal ball. Sitting in a position that shows that she's waiting on a report from her subordinates. When both Cinder and Relius entered the room. Salem turned around and saw the both of them.
"Relius were you successful in your retrieval of the Silver-eyed girl?" Salem asked in a commanding tone
"No ma'am, I was unable to get the girl due to some unforeseen complications and a few cautionary measures." Relius answered causing Salem to sit back down in a disappointed way
"You have assured me that her capture was guaranteed. Hence why I allowed you partake in the retrieval of the Silver-Eyed girl." Salem stated to Relius causing Cinder to have smirk
"The complications come in the form of Ruby Rose's guardian and travel companion." Relius said which had slightly gotten more of Salem's attention before he continued to speak
"Capturing the girl was honestly easy. Though one of her travel companions is Jin Kisaragi, the one who wields the Power of Order. The young man is much stronger than anticipated and there was a small chance that he could have used it. If he had, it would have made things much harder. Making things worse is that Qrow Branwen entered the equation. If I'd have fought them further, I would have had to use my full strength. It's clear that the girl is strong, but she is still weak compared to myself. If I'd have used my full strength, capture would have been impossible because I'd have ended up killing her. Because you made it clear that she is not to be killed, I figured returning empty handed is more preferable than telling you I killed her by mistake." Relius explained to Salem while she sat silently before speaking
"Your sense of caution is understood Relius. Though you've overestimated your skills at capture. You did present some interesting information. I see now that we have to deal with the one who wields the Power of Order. A fact that can be quite useful to me." Salem said before Hazel entered, the room which had gotten everyone's attention
"Ma'am, I apologize for returning like this, but me and Tyrion have failed in capturing Ragna the Bloodedge." Hazel said making Cinder smirk even more
"It appears that for being disappointed, I'm two for two. What happened to have caused you and Tyrion to fail in the capture?" Salem asked in a demanding tone and is fully prepared to reprimand him
"We were in the process of capturing him. But there was interference from someone that made it impossible." Hazel reported to Salem
"From his allies?" Salem asked
"He did travel with a team, but they weren't the problem. The problem was the single individual that appeared. The individual that appeared is Hakumen himself." Hazel said which had gotten more of everyone's attention before he continued
"He made quick work of Tyion by cutting off his arm and tail in a single stroke. I had no choice but to get us to safety. Though before I left with Tyrion in tow, I do know one thing for certain. He was there to kill Ragna and I don't know how that encounter ended." Hazel finished reporting causing Salem to think for a moment before she spoke up
"It seems the wild card has made its move. Unfortunately, there is too much we do not know yet." Salem said before she noticed her crystal ball had a glow. Upon seeing this, Hazel left the room while Relius and Cinder stayed in the room. Once the crystal ball stopped glowing, Leo Lionheart's face appeared while Dr. Watts was in the background.
"Hello Leonardo, do you have something to report?" Salem asked the headmaster
"Yes your grace, it is quite a substantial report." Leonardo said before Watts stepped into view
"This creature is still quite fascinating, Relius it is so good to see you again. Cinder, I see that you've recovered." Dr. Watts said before he had a deadpan tone directed towards Cinder
"Why don't you spar against me, you'll see how much I've recovered." Cinder responded before Salem raised her hands to quiet the both of them
"Give me your report Leonardo." Salem said before the Headmaster spoke
"The location of the Spring Maiden has been found." Professor Leo told Salem
"Is that so, well done Arthur. If I'd have known that you would have expedited her discovery. I would have sent you out there much sooner." Salem told Arthur
"As much as I would love to take credit for this. I'm afraid neither of us can't take credit for this. The information practically fell in our lap." Dr. Watts said causing Salem to look at Professor Leonardo expecting an explanation
"You see, Qrow Branwen arrived recently and believes that the Spring Maiden has taken residence with his Sister's tribe." Professor Leo told Salem before Cinder spoke
"Is the girl with him?" Cinder asked
Yes, Ruby Rose was in attendance along with her friends." Professor Lionheart answered before Cinder asked another question but with more visible anger on her face
"Is Ragna there." Cinder angrily said as her eyes started to glow with rage
"No, Ragna was on his way here with his friends as well. Unfortunately, they had a run-in with Hakumen and was adamant on killing Ragna. We do not know whether or not he's dead or alive." Professor Lionheart answered
"It seems Hazel's story has been confirmed, I don't suppose anyone can easily survive an encounter with the White Void. Though stranger things have happened in the world . Is there more to report?" Salem asked
"Yes, I've learned about the Black Beast, the true history regarding the Six Heroes. Along with the Nox Nyctores and the Three Azures." Professor Lionheart told Salem before he started to explain everything he's learned from Qrow
(White Fang's Headquarters throne room)
For several weeks after the Fall of Beacon, Adam has been imprisoned and under constant watch by many members of the White Fang. After his imprisonment has ended, Adam spent a great deal of time doing intense training so that he will not only prove his worth as a leader to the White Fang and by extension the Faunus. But also prove that he's superior to the Hero of Vale Jin Kisaragi and show the world a true hero. Despite the punishment from Sienna Khan and him being a now infamous figure. Adam still has many supporters within the White Fang and if all goes well. Then the White Fang will have a major ally and will be in a position to make a stronger impact on the world.
"I do not like repeating myself Adam, the White Fang will not attack Haven Academy." Sienna Khan, the leader of the White Fang told Adam
"High Leader Khan, I beg of you to reconsider." Adam said in a pleading tone to Sienna Khan
"You should beg for my forgiveness and be grateful that your punishment isn't more severe. Your actions at Beacon have caused the fall of the CCT Tower and brought global communications to a halt. While also making the White Fang a bigger target than before. Your actions have done more harm than your misguided belief that the Fall of Beacon was a victory." Sienna Khan explained to Adam in a frustrated tone
"High Leader, I know that there have been some problems. But to follow your beliefs, there were bound to be some consequences before we got the outcome we hoped for." Adam told Sienna Khan
"What do you think my beliefs are then Adam?" Sienna Khan asked in a curious tone
"Your belief is strength, to show the humans that the Faunus are strong and will not stand idly by and take their relentless attacks anymore. While also establishing our unwavering conviction. To do what must be done for our survival and to show we are a force to be reckoned with." Adam explained to Sienna Khan
"I was one of the first people to suggest violence where its necessary. To demand our acceptance in the world. I will not allow humanity to push us down without the Faunus pushing us back. But the fall of the Academy crosses a line and now we are at risk of a war that we cannot win. Because you justified humanities campaign against the White Fang." Sienna Khan said before the guards started to be visible afraid and everyone in the throne room heard clapping
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA." A voice laughed causing Sienna Khan to jump away from her throne and was visibly on guard. A few seconds later, they all saw a large muscular man clapping and laughing. Adam recognized the man as the Mad Dog Azrael.
"Wow and I thought Ironwood was full of it." Azrael said as he approached the guards.
"How did you find this location!?" Sienna Khan asked causing Adam to approach Azrael
"I brought him here, who better to show you strength than the Mad Dog Azrael. A man even the Military of Atlus are afraid of." Adam told Sienna Khan before she looked at him with anger
"You have the gall to bring a human to this location. An action that is grounds for you to be executed." Sienna Khan stated to Adam before Azrael spoke up
"Listen, it's clear that you're not really pleased with him now. But since I came all this way, you might as well listen to what I have to say. Who knows, it might be more informative than you think." Azrael told Sienna Khan
"You better make it quick, the longer you stay here. The less of a chance you have to walk away from here alive." Sienna Khan stated to Azrael
"Heh." Azrael chuckled before he grabbed one of the guard's spears and bit off a piece of the blade and spit it out to prove a point
"Not even good enough to be a back scratcher." Azrael said before he started to speak further
"The reason I said that your full of it, is because I've been misinformed. Adam told me that you are a warrior willing to do whatever it takes for the good of the Faunus. Yet from what I've heard and from what I've seen, that couldn't be any further from the truth. I'm not fighting for a noble cause, I don't have a noble purpose or a grand mission. I just like to fight, the stronger my opponents are the better. The difference is that I know what I am, yet you do not know what you are or what you are trying to get." Azrael explained to Sienna
"You and Adam don't know what I want." Sienna told Azrael before he spoke up
"Let me guess, you want humanity to fear the Faunus. To demand respect from us humans. But you never thought any of your actions through. You're a cub that's pretending to be an alpha. I'm a human who loves a good fight and even I can see that." Azrael said which visibly angered Sienna
"How dare you!" Sienna Khan yelled before Azrael continued
"You see, I've done my homework on the White Fang. In the beginning, the humans did fear you initially but now. The White Fang are seen as terrorists but more of an annoyance in the grand scheme of things. For example, your infamous to certain parties in Vale. But those that fear the White Fang now, are usually just small businesses that don't serve the Faunus. Yet to the ones with real power, you're all seen as an annoyance while they treat those they believe to be beneath them like trash. Especially but not limited to the Faunus." Azrael said before he continued to explain
"You have never made a big impact in the Kingdoms that truly needed it. For instance, Atlus is a Kingdom that has nobles that believes they're better than everyone. Many of them consider the Faunus to be beneath common people as well. Yet not one noble actually fears the White Fang. In the past, your group would kill executives and nobles. While also steal from major Atlus businesses. But after a few months Atlus will recover and act as if nothing has happened. Instead of building your forces and attacking them again. You just go somewhere else thinking you did something. You attack the weak, while give the illusion of strength to the ones with real power. PATHETIC." Azrael explained further to Sienna
"Your suggesting that the White Fang needs to start a war that we cannot possibly win." Sienna stated to Azrael
"Sometimes, if you want to make the impact you're seeking. A war will be best option, especially when your diplomacy has failed. Besides, the White Fang has already started the war with their activities. But as it stands, it will be finished by the terms of us humans. You want the humans to fear the Faunus into acceptance. But us humans are stubborn and petty with a good memory." Azrael stated before he continued
"Us humans have a tendency to respond to fear with aggression. If you want proof, then look at the increased attacks against the Faunus because of their fear of the Beast of Remnant. If humanity fears the Faunus like you want. We will just bide our time and build our strength. Then when the Faunus are at their most vulnerable, that is when we will strike. The Faunus has been mistreated, but do you honestly think that us humans will forgive and forget what the White Fang has done so easily?" Azrael explained causing Sienna to think for a moment
"I see your point, but you and Adam are asking for a cooperation where we share all of the risks. Adam told me of the humans he's worked with. You all come and go as you please and we know nothing about any of you. How many more risks and losses must we take for you and your groups empty promises?" Sienna Khan asked Azrael
"I understand your grievance, which is why we only require one more thing from you. If you aid us in the attack on Haven. I will promise you something that you never thought was possible." Azrael said which got more of Sienna's attention
"If you aid us, then you have my word that you will not only be granted a true Kingdom. My associates will also take measures in the fall of a Kingdom." Azrael told Sienna
"Really, then what Kingdom will that be?" Sienna Khan asked
"This Kingdom has many technological advancements, yet many nobles within that Kingdom believes that they are better than everyone. Because their Kingdom is literally floating over the world. This very Kingdom is the root of most if not all of the despair brought to the Faunus. Help us with the attack on Haven, I will promise you, the fall of the Kingdom of Atlus." Azrael told Sienna causing her to think about the promise and what is being asked

After being told everything that Leo Lionheart learned from his meeting with Qrow. Salem spent a few seconds thinking and processing everything that she has heard. A good portion of it is stuff that Salem didn't really care about or already knows. The Aura Weapons real name being the Nox Nyctores was interesting but the name held no real significance to her. Salem knew that both Ragna and Nu each holds a half of the Black Beast's soul but was intrigued to learn that they have the Life Link. Which explains why Nu felt it when Ragna was in danger during his fight with Hakumen. The thing that truly intrigued her, was the information regarding the Three Azures.
Salem suspected that there was more to the Power of Order than what she was told by Terumi. Though to be told that there are other variations of the power that was able to make short work of the small army of Grimm intrigued her. Salem's caution of Terumi was well warranted, but now the headmaster's report confirms it.
"Interesting, it seems you have learned much from Qrow's report. I have a mot to think about regarding the long term. But for the moment, do you know where the location of the Branwen Tribe?" Salem asked the Headmaster
"Yes ma'am, but you must hurry. It won't be long before Qrow is at odds with the Council and he plans to find another way to . . . ." Professor Lionheart said before the Seer Grimm used its tentacles to strangle the Headmaster
"Leonardo, do you remember the day we first met? I remember, you used to be so afraid but now your brave. I remember everything you've done for me. Just don't forget everything I can do to you." Salem said before the Seer released the Headmaster before she turned to Cinder and Relius
"Cinder, I want you and your team along with Relius to meet up with Arthur snd go to the Branwen Tribe. Make it clear that the survival of her tribe depends on whether or not we get what we need. Once Spring is under control, give me an update so Hazel will get an update from Azrael regarding the White Fang before he returns." Salem made the command to Cinder
"Understood." Arthur Watts said before he was stopped
"Not you Arthur, once your business is finished with the Branwen Tribe. You need to return here. Tyrion needs a new tail and arm." Salem told Arthur
"What happened for him to lose them in the first place?" Dr. Watts asked in a tone that is a mix of surprise and curious
"Let's just say that the White Void will cut down anyone in his way. Tyrion is still alive, but he still needs treatment." Salem told Dr. Watts
"I understand, I will provide immediate treatment upon my return." Dr. Watts responded
"good." Salem responded before communication was cut off
"Ma'am, I apologize but I'm afraid unforeseen circumstances will prevent me from participating." Relius told Salem which had gotten her and Cinder's attention
"What kind of circumstances would prevent you from assisting the retrieval of the Relic? Don't forget, you still need to make up for your failure in retrieving Ruby Rose." Salem told Relius
"It's a special project that will be very beneficial to you in the long run. Though its currently incomplete. Enough progress has been made that is ready for your observation. I would very much like for you to see it later." Relius briefly explained to Salem
"Very well, I will humor you and see this project of yours. I hope for your sake that its worth my time." Salem told Relius
"I can assure you it is. Though the numbers will not suffer for it. If Cinder makes a detour, an associate can be recruited to aid in the mission. He exceptionally strong and intelligent and will prove to be a great asset to the retrieval of the Relic.' Relius told Salem
"Who is this associate of yours?" Salem asked in a curious tone
"His name is Bedman, he did some work with Terumi and myself and though he is not one of your subordinates. He is still exceptionally useful." Relius answered causing Salem to think for a moment
"Very well, give the coordinates to Cinder so she can retrieve Bedman." Salem commanded
"Yes ma'am, I will also give a letter that will be given to Bedman to ensure his cooperation." Relius told Salem
"Good, oh and I also want you to assist Dr. Watts in Tyrion's treatment." Salem told Relius further
"Understood, I was actually hoping for an opportunity to assist the good Doctor with Tyrion's recovery. It is pleasant for me to be in the presence of intellectuals." Relius said before he left the room
"Your free to speak your mind." Salem told Cinder noticing her mood
"We have power, you have an army of Grimm at your command. We are strong enough to take what we want by force. So what's the point of the long game, why deal with the recruits. Why keep certain people alive and why trust Terumi, when we see that he's keeping secrets?" Cinder asked
"Never underestimate the usefulness of others. You will be amazed at what can be acquired when you work with others. Take Leonardo for example, he was once one of Ozpin's most trusted. But now, he is eager to please me under the hope that I spare him." Salem said before she lightly chuckled before she continued
"As for Terumi, I know full well not to trust that Snake. I remember the days of the Black Beast and when the Six Heroes dealt with the it. Though despite gaining worldwide renown, Terumi still proceeded to betray his allies. Whenever I inquire about his reason for the betrayal. His answers are consistent but feels hollow. Someone like Terumi doesn't stick around for as long as he does without keeping a few tricks up his sleeves." Salem explained to Cinder before she explained even further
"You will get the power I promised you Cinder. But don't ever believe for a moment that having power makes you invincible. If Ruby Rose learns to harness her gifts of the Silver Eyes. Then you will be in grave danger and there is only so much I can do to aid and guide you." Salem told Cinder before continuing
"As for your other inquiries, Ragna still has half of the power of the Black Beast. Terumi has been quite forthcoming regarding the Beast and I intend to harness its power. As it stands, Nu is still my best chance to claim the power of the Black Beast. Which why I would very much prefer it if she is keep her alive even after she claims the other half. Leonardo's report did prove to be informative, Which is why Jin Kisaragi's live capture will be a priority as well." Salem explained further causing Cinder to bow before she left as well.
"Yes ma'am." Cinder said as she was leaving before she was stopped by Salem
"Cinder, I suspect that Nu might want a change in scenery so take her along as well. Once everything with the Branwen Tribe is finished, she is to return with Dr. Watts. The order still stands, Nu is not to be harmed." Salem stated causing Cinder to bow once again before leaving
(The Branwen Camp)
Ragna spent a good deal of time walking around the Camp. As he was walking, he found a good number of the older Tribesman looking at him with admiration and respect. Yet he also quickly noticed the younger members of the tribe get away from him as quickly as possible. Making it clear that the Tribe is aware of the infamy regarding the Beast of Remnant. He was tempted to leave the Camp and make his way to Haven, but Raven made many good points.
He has no idea of how long it will take for him to Haven Academy. Because Ragna has no idea of his exact location. Which makes it difficult for him to figure out a good route to Haven. Making things worse is that he has no idea of what Cinder or Terumi is planning. Cinder's announcement mentioned Mistral and the trail leads to Haven. The two people who attacked Ragna made it clear that they are associated with Cinder and Terumi. Which gives Ragna the idea that he's on the right track. Though how much time he has, is something he does 't know.
"Enjoying your tour of the Camp?" Vernal asked s she approached Ragna
"Yeah, there is something real cozy about being around a lot of stolen goods." Ragna sarcastically responded causing Vernal to shake her head
"You know, if you would stop labeling us as bandits for a minute and look at this community as a whole. You'll see that not only this will be a good fit for you. But you'll be able to understand that there is a lot more to us than what we've done." Vernal briefly explained to Ragna
"Oh really, from what I know. You guys lie, steal, and kill just to get what you want. With no regard for who gets hurt in the process. How many how many villages got ruined because of everything you've done?" Ragna asked in a bold tone
"We do whatever it takes to survive, even if the world and the law doesn't understand that. Besides, that have done things much worse than what the Branwen Tribe has done. Have you seen what the SDC do to the Faunus? I've heard that some of their workers burn the SDC brand on the Faunus to show ownership. We've done some less than pleasant things, but there are lines we would never cross. We treat each other like a family, therefore I would give my life for my family without hesitation." Vernal explained further to Ragna
"I see that you trust your family and by extension Raven. The thing you should know about trust, it is a two-way street. So can you say Raven would do the same for you and the Tribe? Or is she the type of person to put others in the line of fire before herself?" Ragna asked Vernal causing her to be visibly upset before she spoke further
"She'll do it without hesitation, wouldn't you do whatever it take to protect your family?" Vernal responded causing Ragna to be upset this time before she spoke further
"We can go on for hours about the Tribe and your misguided views of it. But I know that Raven can convince you much better than I can. If you knew half of what she knows. You'll see that trusting Raven is the best decision you can make, which reminds me." Vernal said before she brought out her Ring-blades
"Plan on locking me in a tent again?" Ragna asked
"Since we can't go on any raids because of the agreement between you and Raven. I have another idea that will help liven things up. You see, if your going to be a part of this family. We need to know what you can do in a fight." Vernal told Ragna
"If I don't humor you?" Ragna asked while mentally prepared to act
"Then this will be quick." Vernal said before she threw her Ring-blade at Ragna
Reacting quickly, Ragna immediately grabbed his sword and deflected the thrown Ring Blade. After the weapon was deflected. Vernal jumped high into the air to grab her deflected Ring-blade and fired at Ragna while she was high above him. Ragna started to block each of Vernal's shots with his sword and the moment she landed. Ragna started to run towards her while blocking the shots. As Ragna was getting closer, Vernal started to move back to avoid being in Range of Ragna's sword attacks. Once she moved further back, Vernal tossed her Ring-blade at Ragna again but with a plan in mind.
The moment Ragna deflected the Ring-blade, Vernal leaped over Ragna while catching her Ring-blade at the same time and stood close to her. With both weapons in hand, Vernal used the dust within her weapons to generate a thunderblade and tried to cut Ragna's torso. Predicting what Vernal was trying to do, Ragna jumped backwards away from Vernal and used the gun function within his sword to blast at Vernal and landed a direct hit. As a result, Vernal was knocked back by the blast and Ragna proceeded to do a follow-up attack against Vernal
Seeing Ragna coming, Vernal quickly rolled to the side and managed to move out of the way of Ragna's attack. While she had the chance, Vernal started to fire at Ragna which kept him at bay and gave her the chance to get back up. Once Vernal stood back up, she made a motion to toss her weapon at him again. Realizing the plan, Ragna proceeded to quickly get close to Vernal and attack her at an intense speed. The relentless assault prevented Vernal from tossing her weapon. Which forced her to fight Ragna in close range.
Vernal was able to hold her own against Ragna's constant attacks. Though slowly but surely, she was starting to get overwhelmed and overpowered. After blocking another one of Ragna's attacks. She jumped away from him and tossed her weapon at him while firing. After the Ring-blade was deflected, Vernal went to regain her weapons. Only for Ragna to transform his sword into its scythe form and he tossed it. Vernal was able to barely able to block the attack, but she was unable to reclaim her weapon as a result.
Immediately after landing, Vernal tried to regain her stance. Yet she was unable to prevent Ragna from delivering a quick attack with his scythe causing her to fall. Before Vernal could do anything further. Ragna was able catch Vernal's Ring-blade and proceeded to aim at Vernal and is prepared to fire at her.
"Enjoyed the show?" Ragna asked before he turned his head to see Raven
"Indeed, there's not that many people who can hold their own in a fight against Vernal. Which makes for a very entertaining spar to watch." Raven told Ragna
"If you like this, then just imagine what I'll do to . . . ." Ragna started saying before he noticed one of the Branwen Tribesmen carry a young woman. When Ragna took a better look, he recognized the young woman as someone he knows. Especially since the last time he saw her. Thy didn't part on good terms, especially since they fought each other.
"WEISS!" Ragna yelled as he ran towards the Tribesman who was holding her. When he got closer, Ragna saw that she was unconscious but was furious at both the sight and the coincidence
"What the hell is this Raven?" Ragna yelled as he took up a stance
"Before you get the wrong idea, we didn't capture her or anything. Remember that airship that crashed not too far from here? We went to check it out and the Heiress was the only survivor. Out of a sense of decency, we couldn't just leave her alone for the Grimm." Raven explained causing Ragna to calm down but still be on guard
"What do you plan on doing with her?" Ragna asked
"We don't normally deal in extortion but seeing as though the Heiress is a special case. The tribe will make the arrangements for her to be returned to Atlus. Though you know, this presents us with an interesting opportunity." Raven stated which confused Ragna before she continued
"It will still take a good deal of time before we can make the arrangements to have Weiss returned to Atlus. Making things harder is that the border of the Atlus Kingdom is closed." Raven said got more of Ragna's attention
"The Atlus borders are closed?" Ragna asked
"Indeed, though to be honest I'm not surprised since the General has been calling back his troops. Which means he's preparing for something big." Raven told Ragna
"How did you know about what's going on with the General? What about this opportunity that you've mentioned?" Ragna asked in an impatient tone
"For your first question, you don't survive as long as I have without learning about what's going on in the world. As for your second question I was getting to that. Since its clear arranging the return is going to take some time and that your still cautious of us. You can look after the heiress since its not only clear that you know her. But is also concerned about her well-being. You can make sure she doesn't do anything reckless and keeps out of trouble. While we make the arrangements, since our agreements of no raids is still in effect. Are we agreed on this little arrangement Ragna?" Raven asked after explaining the situation
"Alright, but when she wakes she can walk around as she pleases. She won't be locked up like a prisoner and I will keep her out of trouble." Ragna stated to the Tribe Leader. He wasn't pleased with the current situation. But if agreeing to this not only appeases Raven and keep Weiss safe, along with maintaining his chances to get to Haven quickly. This was worth the risk
"Splendid, I will talk with Vernal about a few things. You've made a good decision Ragna." Raven said before she went inside her tent with Vernal. Moments Later, Raven drank some tea with Vernal and got themselves settled within the tent
"So tell me Vernal, what do you make of Ragna so far?" Raven asked
"For starters, the guy is impatient and has a lot of stubbornness. Not to mention that he is constantly on guard. But seeing as though he sees us as bandits, its not too surprising that he would be on guard with us at all times. But from our fight, I see that he's been trained and is a lot stronger and more skilled than he looks. I hate to say it, but if the fight went on for a bit longer. I'm certain that there's a good chance that I would have lost. Keep in mind that this is all with him holding back, especially from what you've told me. I think he's strong enough to fight against you Raven." Vernal explained to Raven
"All the more reason for him to be a part of our family. If he joins up with Qrow, then he will most likely be another one of Ozpin's soldiers. Which will in turn be a waste of his potential." Raven told Vernal her thoughts on the situation with Ragna
"He seems determined to fight against the ones who orchestrated Beacon. Why not just let him?" Vernal asked
"Because I don't think Ragna fully comprehends what he's walking in to regarding Salem. Especially since that woman can't be killed. Making things more complicated is that there is a very real chance that Salem has her sights set on the power of the Black Beast. With the Heiress being here. That means time isn't on our side and the chance to recruit Ragna is slowly slipping away. Assuming there are no other surprise guests coming, I'd say we still have a decent chance to recruit Ragna to the Branwen Tribe." Raven explained to Vernal as she thought about what to do next.

After spending a good deal of time on the ship. Yang felt refreshed to finally get off the boat with her motorcycle Bumblebee. As she looked around, she knew that she has a potentially long journey ahead of her. But the brawler is determined to proceed with the journey. Both equipped with her new arm, fully supplied and a special someone who will have her back and is willing to go with her. Despite having a very severe case of being seasick.
"UGH." Makoto groaned as she started to approach Yang
"Feeling any better, or do you think you'll need a full hour to relieve yourself?" Yang asked in a joking tone
"Not funny, I was doing fine until those waves started to hit the ship and did all that rocking. I'm just glad that I didn't ruin my new outfit." Makoto said as she looked over her outfit. Which consists of brown jeans and a brown and black tank top that exposed her stomach with long black stockings.
"True and it's not like we'll be near the ocean anytime soon. Especially since we have the wonderful road where we can ride Bumblebee." Yang proudly said as she showed off her motorcycle
"Assuming we find a road we can ride on. Otherwise, it's the wonderful forest for us. Where we can spend a lot of time camping out under the stars. This has me nostalgic for the days me and the others would go camping. we would tell all kinds of stories and do our best to prevent Noel from cooking. It wouldn't work of course and we ate her food. But the memories were always nice." Makoto explained as she was reminiscing her pleasant memories with her friends
"Yeah, I would sometimes go camping with Ruby sometimes too. We have a lot of making up to do." Yang told Makoto
"She's your sister and she loves you, making up would be easy. Getting to her though is going to be a problem. Thank goodness we're well supplied, especially since the nearest store from here is a couple of days away." Makoto told Yang
"Then let's get going." Yang told Makoto before they started their journey

Relius spent a good deal of time working on the experiment that required a great deal of his time and attention. The good news is that he was able to make a great deal of progress and there is no impending deadline that was slowly coming up. Unfortunately, the project was progressing much slower than Relius preferred. As a result, the very thing that Relius is working on will not be ready until at a much later time. Making things worse is that the Puppeteer is the only one who could work on the project because of his expansive knowledge of magic. Both Dr. Watts and Litchi are skilled, they would need a lot of training to properly work with magic. Especially since they are only capable of aura.
"I'm curious about what you want me to see regarding your project Relius." Salem said as she appeared behind Relius
"I can assure you ma'am, it will most certainly be worth your time and the wait once its finished." Relius said as he stepped aside and showed Salem what he was working on. Which had the appearance of a small eye. Before Salem could question anything, Relius started to speak.
"Do you remember everything you were told of what happened at the top of the tower at Beacon?" Relius asked
"Indeed, one of the highlights aside from what Ragna has done to Cinder is that Terumi had cut off his arm before it was regenerated." Salem answered
"When I arrived, I had Ignis retrieve the arm and after looking it over. There is some bits of energy of the Black Beast within the arm. Though Ragna himself already regenerated his new arm and restored the lost energy. The arm that we recovered still has remnants of the Black Beast's power. Therefore, I decided to do some experiments with it and found a way to repurpose it." Relius explained to Salem which intrigued the woman
"Interesting and how did you repurpose the power of the Black Beast?" Salem asked in a curious tone
"I extracted the Black Beast's power from the arm and managed to convert it into an eye. The process of fine tuning it is taking more time than I would like. The end results will be very much worth the wait. The finished product will have the power of the Black Beast. The amount is still miniscule compared to what Nu and Ragna has. Though the eye is given to someone with some aspects of power. The power of the Black Beast will adapt and amplify the power of the user." Relius explained further to Salem impressing the woman even more
"Your right Relius, this is worth my time and the wait. When do you think this eye will be finished?" Also who did you have in mind to have this eye? Salem asked
"At this point, its hard to say when it will be finished. I still need to refine the energy so that it will be potent and safe to use. As for who will use it, seeing as though Cinder already has the power of magic thanks to her being the Fall Maiden. Along wit the fact that she only has one eye thanks to an attack from Ragna. I believe she will be ideal to have the eye, but as things stand she is not ready for something like this. Even if the eye is complete." Relius explained further to Salem
"I see, until further notice, I want the development of this eye to be your top priority." Salem instructed Relius
"I understand, oh and the eye will be called the Kuro Eye. Once both the eye and Cinder is ready. She will no doubt be immensely powerful." Relius explained further to Salem
"I look forward to the end result." Salem said before she left

I would like to give a shout out and thank you to GM9000 for the idea regarding Ragna's arm. I had to alter it, but the concept helped me out greatly so thank you.
Also, the reason the eye is named the Kuro Eye. Is because it is Kuro is the Japanese word for black and the eye is made from the extracted Black Beast energy from Ragna's arm that Terumi cut off. One other thing, the Kuro Eye will not be used yet in Volume 5 or volume 6 of this story.
It will be confirmed very soon on the fate of Sienna Khan. For now, I know what will happen (seeing as though I'm the author) you guys ae welcomed to guess if she agrees or not and whether or not Adam kills her. I still plan on handling Adam differently from RWBY canon.
