I'm glad to see so many responses towards the conversations the characters had in the previous chapter. I don't want to give too much away, but the issue regarding Nu will be addressed in a future chapter. But I will confirm this much, both Ragna and Jin do make good points in how to handle Nu. But the problem is that they aren't willing to find a middle grounds between them and their beliefs. Especially since they are not in a good frame of mind. Ragna being driven by revenge and Jin being consumed by guilt. Not to mention the immense stubbornness they both have. The conversation in the previous chapter is a taste of what I will bring in the Volume 7 and 8 portion of the story.

There will be some interesting responses when the characters find out the truth behind Ozpin and Salem. That is all I can say without giving anything away. I will confirm this, there are several characters that knows about the situation with Salem and Ozpin. I can't confirm who because it will give a lot of things away.

To answer a quick question, Cardin is in Vale and he's OK. In fact, he will show up soon, but I'm not confirming when he will appear.

Chapter 79 Needed Details

(The House)

Makoto spent a good deal of time listening to everything Jaune has told her about what he went through and his thoughts on various situations. Once he was done, Makoto spent a few minutes processing everything she learned and found herself impressed with Jaune's mental strength. Most people would be overwhelmed by everything Jaune has been dealing with. Especially on top of everything he lost and endured during the Fall of Beacon. Especially since he's been dealing with all of this by himself. When the minutes have past and Makoto finished processing what she's learned. She started to voice her thoughts at the various realizations.

"OK, just so I'm clear on everything you've told me. First of all, you've learned that Lambda, that silent girl that's with you guys is from the Murakumo Labs. Who waas also an agent of Kokonoe who was sent to be with your group." Makoto summarized the first batch of details she's learned

"Yep, it doesn't look like Lambda or Kokonoe are a threat to us. But there is still too much I don't know about Kokonoe or Sector 7. Not to mention that if Lambda really is from the Murakumo Labs. Then I can't even think about what she went through." Jaune told Makoto

"Next, you have a strong suspicion that Hakumen is connected or related to Jin. Because of how he answered your question?" Makoto asked in a questioning tone

"I know it's ridiculous and I'm probably overreaching things a bit with this is hunch. But there are too many things about Hakumen that's similar to Jin. Saying things in a similar way he does. While their fighting styles are too similar despite a few differences. Not to mention another detail, when I asked him is he related to Jin. He answered almost immediately, without asking anything about who Jin is. Which implies he knew who Jin is, especially since he's adopted." Jaune explained to Makoto

"To be fair, when Jin earned the title of Hero of Vale, everyone knew who he was. But Hakumen confirming a connection between them is admittedly too strange to ignore. Especially since Hakumen would have no reason to lie, since we know absolutely nothing about him. But since the Legendary Hero isn't someone we can talk to at any time. We need to table the topic of "How Jin is related to Hakumen" until we can learn more." Makoto explained

"That makes sense." Jaune told Makoto before she continued to talk

"As for the situation regarding Lambda, I have a solution for that. We . . . . . do nothing." Makoto told Jaune

"Um . . . . what?" Jaune asked in a stunned tone

"Like you said, there is too much we don't know and if we tell everyone. Then it could unintentionally make things worse. Which includes but not limited to turning everyone against Lambda. Some of us will likely stick up for her. But we will still be divided which is the last thing we need if we're going to be working together. I don't like keeping secrets, but given the circumstances, we need to play it safe." Makoto explained to Jaune causing him to think for a moment

"Your right, if Lambda wanted to hurt us. Then she would have done it much sooner while we were traveling together." Jaune said agreeing with Makoto before she spoke further.

"As for Kokonoe, we need to have the same approach. I don't know anything about her, but I have heard a few things about Sector 7. Basically they are an organization that has a hand in a lot of businesses. But they tend to specialize in the field of science. If you have to be involved with them, then keep it to a bare minimum. The stories I've heard involving Sector 7 are usually top-secret stuff." Makoto explained further to Jaune

"So for now, we do nothing and just play it by ear?" Jaune asked

"Since we have no other info and have enough to deal with, then yes we do. Besides, we're not doing nothing, we know that Kokonoe is involved with Lambda so we can keep an eye on things and stay on guard until we get more information. While also preventing things from getting worse." Makoto explained the plan to Juane

"I see, thank you Makoto, I know that this is a lot to deal with. But thank you for listening and helping me." Jaune told Makoto in a grateful tone causing the Faunus to smile

"Jaune, something you should understand about me is that I always look out for my friends. So if you need help with anything, just know that I'm always available." Makoto told Jaune

"Thank you, I'm just doing the best I can. Especially since I've made too many mistakes. Like how I got into Beacon for starters." Jaune said causing Makoto to give him a concerned look

"What do you mean, I know some of the Beacon Professors can be hard on us. But that's because of their expectations of us. I do wish they would lighten up on us and our grades. But I supposed with an Academy that trains people, it comes with the territory." Makoto told Jaune before he took a deep breath

"No I mean. . . . I cheated my way into Beacon." Jaune said before he continued to talk while Makoto listened

"I got a hold on some transcripts and used it to get into Beacon. I wanted to be a hero so badly that I didn't think about anything else. Then when things happened the way they did, I realize that maybe I didn't deserve it. Which is a slap in the face to people that did work hard to get in." Jaune explained to Makoto

"Let me tell you something, don't feel bad about cheating your way into Beacon. If anything, you should see it as an accomplishment." Makoto told Jaune

"Um, what do you mean?" Jaune asked

"Back in Atlus, all kinds of rumors would be spread about a lot of the students at the training schools. Some of them true, while others are exaggerated. So let me give you a scenario that will help you feel better." Makoto told Jaune before she continued to explain

"There are three students in an Academy that got in through three different ways. The first student got in by giving certain people a lot of money and bought their entry. The second student used their family name and influence to get into the Academy. While the third student would cheat to get into the school. Now if you had to choose, which of the three would you trust with a team?" Makoto asked Jaune

"I don't know, but I supposed you have an answer." Jaune responded

"Your right I do, and my answer would be the third student. Do you want to know why?" Makoto asked

"I don't get it." Jaune answered

"Then let me explain, the first student will most likely use money to buy their way out of any trouble they can get into. Ignoring the fact that the money will run out or that not everyone will take money. The second student will get a belief that they are invincible because of their family name and won't have to work a day in their life. The third student has cheated, but they were skilled, cunning, resourceful, not to mention lucky to get what they want. Though it was the wrong way, they did utilize their skills to get past the people that deal with liars and cheats everyday. Your not the strongest fighter, but from what I've seen, you've shown skill and cleverness when dealing with dangerous threats. As far as I'm concerned, you've earned your way into Beacon through methods that's not common. Which is more than I can say for over half the stuck-up students in Atlas. So don't beat yourself up over how you got into Beacon." Makoto explained to Jaune causing him to smile at the praise

"Thank you Makoto, I promise that I won't let you down." Jaune told Makoto

"It's no problem, besides if anything happens to you. Then I'll have to deal with Noel's cooking alone and you wouldn't want that would you?" Makoto told Jaune

"Hahahahaha . . . . wait your serious?" Jaune said in a tone of slight disbelief

"Oh I'm very serious, after all cooking is one of Noel's hobbies and when she doesn't have much to do. She'll spend a lot of time cooking and come up with new recipes. It's only a matter of time until we're reunited. Since eating her food is a miserable experience. I figured her boyfriend should share in the experience. After all, misery loves company." Makoto stated to Jaune

"Well, I'm looking forward to it." Jaune nervously said

"Let's table the thought of eating Noel's cooking for now. Since I'm hoping you could help me with something." Makoto told Jaune

"Sure, what do you want me to help you with?" Jaune asked in a curious tone

"Let's just say that it involves trying to fix a friendship. Which involves getting two very stubborn people to talk. But we're going to need some extra help." Makoto said before she explained her idea to Jaune

(The House Patio)

Once everything started to calm down in the house. Ruby decided to go out to the patio once a good deal of time went past. The reason is so that the fresh air can help her process everything that she's learned and what's been happening. Learning about Ozpin's longstanding battle against Salem and the situation with the Relics made her realize that she is now part of something that's bigger than she could possibly imagine. On one hand, she is happy to be a part of something that will do a lot of good for the world. Yet on the other hand, she can't help but be worried about her friends. It's clear to Ruby that everyone is determined to help Ozpin in the fight against Salem. Yet she also sees that they are still bothered by a lot of the stuff they've learned and some of them are having a hard time accepting the details.

Another thing that also occupies Ruby's mind is everything regarding Terumi. Ruby wants nothing more than to hunt down Terumi and avenge her mother. Yet the more she thought about it, the more she realizes that her wish to avenge her mother is unintentionally making her like Ragna in terms of being revenge driven. Ruby understands that Ragna has suffered much more than she did during the Fall of Beacon. But she is also seeing that his wish to get revenge is not only consuming him, but it's also turning him against everyone. Though most of the people around are scared that Ragna might lose control again. She believes that he needs some support to ensure that he doesn't make another decision that he'll regret. Especially with his determination to save his sister Nu.

"I thought I'd find you out here." Yang said as she leaned over her sister and used her hair to play with Ruby

"Hahaha, I'm happy to see you too Sis." Ruby said as she stood up and gave Yang another hug before the sisters sat down together

"Ruby, I am sorry for how I acted before you left. I was . . . ." Yang said trying to apologize again before Ruby spoke up

"I understand Yang, a lot happened to you and I understand. I'm just glad that we're together again." Ruby told Yang in a happy tone

"Were you able to get some sleep?" Yang asked Ruby

"Nope, I couldn't sleep at all." Ruby answered

"Me either." Yang said as well

"That makes three of us, fortunately there's coffee." Weiss told the sisters before she gave the sisters a cup of coffee

"Um did you . . . ." Ruby said before Weiss spoke up

"Yes, I put a lot of cream and sugar in your coffee Ruby." Weiss said much to Ruby's delight before the three of them drank their coffee.

"I know it's been a day for you two, but I still can't believe it. We're all in the Kingdom of Mistral and in Haven Academy of all places." Ruby said in an excited tone

"That's what you can't believe, how about everything about what we've been told about magic and everything?" Weiss said as she drank her coffee

"Okay, okay, I know what you all mean. I mean all of this is still unbelievable and for us to be a part of it is just crazy." Yang told the two

"This is a lot to take in, but to be completely honest. I'm glad that we're all together again. Because I thought I would never see you guys again." Weiss told her teammates

"I feel the same way, I just wish that Blake was here with us." Ruby said before Yang spoke

"A lot happened at Beacon and Blake probably ran off. I'm sure we'll see her again someday." Yang said in a slightly hopeful tone

"Ruby, we've learned a lot of this recently, but you've been dealing with this for months. How do you feel about all of this?" Weiss asked in a concerned tone

"I'm still taking all of this in to be honest with you. I'm glad that I'm helping the world, so the stuff about Salem doesn't really bother me. But everything about Terumi is something else entirely. Not to mention the stuff about the Three Azures and the Grimm Aura." Ruy told Weiss before she continued to talk

"It was honestly hard to deal with the fact the Kingdoms in the past were conflicted in dealing with the Black Beast and that they tried to kill the Heroes. Especially with the fact that Terumi is the one who killed Mom." Ruby briefly explained

"Yeah, that snake is the reason our family is broken and he won't get away with this." Yang angrily said as her eyes got red with anger

"Don't forget what we were told. Terumi is strong enough to fight against a large group of students. He can fight on par with Jubei and this is just paraphrasing what we were told. Not to mention what he did on the Tower by like cutting off Ragna's arm. He also beat Ruby, Ragna, and Pyrrha." Weiss told her teammates

"Not to mention he killed Pyrrha the same way he killed Mom. Terumi is dangerous and I can't even imagine what else he's capable of. Not to mention everything that Ragna is going through." Ruby said which slightly angered Yang

"Yeah, everything he's going through." Yang commented causing Weiss and Ruby to give a concerned look

"Yang, are you OK?" Ruby asked in a concerned tone

"Why wouldn't I be?" Yang quickly responded before Ruby spoke further

"It's just that I know your still angry with everything that happened with Ragna and . . ." Ruby said before Yang quickly cut her off

"Look I'm willing to work with him, but don't expect me to trust him. That's all there is to it and there is nothing more to it." Yang said with anger in her voice

"I know that Ragna messed up, but you two were close back at Beacon and maybe it would be better if you would . . ." Ruby tried to say before Yang spoke up again

"I said I'm fine!" Yang angrily said with red eyes

"Yang, your eyes." Weiss said causing Yang to quickly realize what happened and went back inside

"Yang is still mad huh?" Ruby said to Weiss

"It's not surprising, they were really close back at Beacon and then things fell apart. Ragna had hurt her and that's not something that can be easily healed. So it makes a lot of sense that she's deeply hurt by what Ragna did. He did more than lie to her, he destroyed her trust and that bears a lot of pain on an emotional level." Weiss explained to Ruby

"Weiss, I noticed that you weren't as um hostile to Ragna as you normally are. Did something happen?" Ruby asked

"When I was captured I spoke to Ragna. I made it clear that he messed up, but he explained why he lied and did the things he did. A lot has happened but one of the major reasons is that his family was threatened." Weiss told Ruby

"I see, now his family is hurt and he has to deal with the fact that Nu is his sister." Ruby sid before Weiss thought of a question

"Ruby, it's clear that Ragna wants to help Nu, while Jin wants to imprison her. If you had to choose, which of the two would you side with?" Weiss asked in a concerned tone

"To be completely honest, I don't know. I mean Ragna is right that we should at least try to save her since she went through so many awful things. But on the other hand, what if Nu doesn't want to be saved. I mean for all we know she could be like Cinder. Jin can be very cold hearted at times but he does have a point. What do you thing Weiss?" Ruby asked her teammate

"Honestly, if it was Winter, I would do whatever it takes to save her. So I do understand how Ragna feels. I also know that Jin and Ragna's don't know her, but they owe it to her to try because they are family and what she went through." Weiss explained to Ruby

"What if it's the other members of your family? I mean, I know that you aren't close to them but what if?" Ruby asked causing Weiss to think about Whitley

"Other family huh?" Weiss said out loud while thinking about how things went with her brother before speaking again

"Moral Dilemmas are hard I supposed." Weiss told Ruby

"You said it bestie." Ruby enthusiastically said as she tried to give Weiss a hug with the former heiress stopping her with her arm

"I told you not to call me that." Weiss told Ruby

"But you didn't mean it." Ruby said in a teasing tone

"I will still pour this coffee on you." Weiss quickly responded

(General Ironwood's Office)

Once Jubei arrived in Atlus, the General escorted him, Winter, and the Ace Ops to his office. Potemkin tended to his other duties but was given thanks for helping Winter. Once all of them arrived in Ironwood's office, Jubei proceeded to tell Ironwood everything. From the true history of the Black Beast, the Nox Nyctores, even the details of the Murakumo Labs and the three Azures. Once Jubei was finished telling Ironwood everything. The General sat down at his desk quietly contemplating everything that he learned. Once a few minutes have passed, Ironwood spoke up.

"I see, so a major part of our history has been built on a lie because the old Kingdoms feared what all of you could do." General Ironwood told Jubei

"Yep, after the Black Beast was dealt with. The old Kingdoms tried to kill us, they failed of course but they decided to spread the false news that we worked together just so they can save face. We didn't want revenge because there would be no pint to it. Especially since we had our own problems to deal with." Jubei told the General

"So the Beast-Wall Tactic was an attempt for the old corrupt Kingdoms to see if they could find a way to control it. I can't even . . ." Marrow said before Jubei spoke up

"A lot of lives were lost that day, including but not limited to my family and friends. Don't worry, I've let go of that grudge a long time ago. I don't want revenge to turn me into a monster." Jubei told Marrow

"Along with the corruption, the Aura Weapons real names are the Nox Nyctores?" General Ironwood asked

"Yes, there are nine in total and they are powerful as they are dangerous. Though it ultimately depends on the user, so don't think that the weapon makes them invincible." Jubei told the General before he spoke up

"Do you know of a way to make the Nox Nyctores? It's clear that they are very powerful and that they can be useful in turning the tide against those who seek to destroy the world." General Ironwood asked

"I know what it takes to make a Nox Nyctores. But only Nine knows how to properly make it. Trust me, it will be better for the world if no more Nox Nyctores are made. If you knew the core requirement to make just one. You will agree with me without hesitation and before you even ask. I'm not telling you what it will take to make one." Jubei told the General with a determined tone, indicating that he's adamant on that fact

"Fair enough, though I am also concerned about the other stuff you've told me. Like for example the Murakumo Labs, the Three Azures, and the Grimm Aura." General Ironwood said

"To think there are people out there who would do inhumane experiments on people, especially kids." Vine said in a tone of disgust

"How could those labs function with none of the other Kingdoms knowing anything about it?" Elm asked sharing in the disgust

"The ones who created the Labs knows how to cover their tracks. While most of the old corruption is gone. You'll be surprised at how many people want to continue their work on creating the ultimate weapon. Which leads to a question, do you happen to know a man name Relius Clover?" Jubei asked

"Yes, he worked in the Engineering department for a few years before he left. Then a few days later, he disappeared without a trace." General Ironwood answered

"Then you need to be on guard with him at all times. Because that man is extremely dangerous. He's not only brilliant with all forms of technology, but he can us magic and is good in a fight. In fact, he's actually on par with Valkenhayn." Jubei explained which surprised everyone before he continued

"Not to mention that he's the reason the Murakumo Labs made as many strides as it did. You could say that he's the progenitor of the Murakumo Labs." Jubei said before Ironwood spoke up

"We had a monster like that under our nose this entire time!" General Ironwood angrily yelled

"Yep, he's really good at covering his tracks and he's infinitely hard to read. So whatever he's after, be certain that it's not anything good." Jubei told the General

"What about the Three Azures, can you at least tell me anything about that?" The General asked

"The Three Azures are powers granted by the God Amaterasu. The Azure Grimoire, The Power of Order, and The Eye of Blue. The power Jin used to fight Ragna when the power of the Black Beast took over is the Power of Order. The Power isn't good but it's not evil either. Its purpose is to protect and maintain the order of the world." Jubei told the General

"So in theory, the Power of Order can be our greatest aid, or our most dangerous threat." Winter said after hearing this fact

"What about the Grimm Aura, does Ragna really have the power of the Black Beast?" General Ironwood asked

"Yes, but that announcer only gave half the details. You see, Ragna only has half the power of the Black Beast. That display of power he showed during the fall. Barely scratches the surface of what Ragna can do with his half of the Black Beast's power. If you saw the things I did, then you'll have a hard time keeping it together." Jubei told the General

"This just means we have even more reasons for him to be brought here. It's too dangerous for him to be out there like that." Harriet angrily told Jubei

"Capturing and imprisoning Ragna would have done more harm than good. If you capture him and anger him even further. Then he could tap into the power of the Black Beast and very much destroy Atlus. It was a risk not worth taking." Jubei briefly explained

"I see, well you've given me a lot to think about. I do have a couple of more questions for you. A few months ago, we had a run-in with Hakumen. It's strange how after all this time he hasn't even showed up at a Kingdom. Do you know why that is?" General Ironwood asked

"It's because he was told not to come to a Kingdom unless it was absolutely necessary. Hakumen is a lot more powerful than you think and if he uses too much of his power, he could unintentionally kill a lot of people by his presence alone. Not to mention the large amount of attention it would bring, which will make his and my work a lot harder. He's still out there doing good, so don't think he's just twiddling his thumbs. In fact, I've heard that in the past few months. He's killed over 500 bandits throughout Anima." Jubei told Ironwood

"That leaves me with one last question." General Ironwood said before he spoke further

"I've heard of a weapon through various sources about a weapon called Take-Mikazuchi. Do you know anything about it?" General Ironwood asked with a bold tone

"I don't know where it is, but I do know about. It's an extremely powerful Nox Nyctores and if someone owns it. That person will have a weapon that can destroy a Kingdom." Jubei answered causing the General to think further

"I see, it seems there is a lot I have to consider. Because you're a person of interest, I can't recommend that you leave. But I will give you accommodations. Winter, make sure he is taken care of." General Ironwood told Winter

"Yes General." Winter responded before her and the Ace Ops left the room

"General Ironwood knows about Take-Mikazuchi, damn it Terumi. Now there's no doubt that you've made your move." Jubei thought to himself as he was leaving the office

"A weapon that can destroy a Kingdom. I'm sorry Tenjo, but you're not giving me many options. You need to make the right decisions, or you will force my hand." General Ironwood stated in a low tone before he started to put his plans into action.

(? ? ?)

"I should have known you would blindly follow orders. Your nothing more than a loyal military puppet." A female voice angrily said with hints of disappointment

"I could say the same thing about you and your blind loyalty to your sister, how long are you going to let her do as she please before you decide to speak up." Another female voice responded with disappointment

(? ? ?)

"You can't keep doing what you want with the belief that your always justified. It's this very arrogance that created our problems with Salem in the first place. I stand by what I've done and I'll do it again." A male voice said in a bold tone

"What you did was sneaky and you know it, you're no better than the people we've had to deal with. You don't give a damn about anyone." Another male voice angrily responded

(? ? ?)

"Did you truly do the best you could or did you allow him to die because of your own grudge?" A male voice said

"Then we have nothing more to discuss, en garde." A female voice said before she fought the male figure

(? ? ?)

"I told you what would happen if you tried to take him from me. Now you will pay for trying to separate us." A young female said with a tone that is a mix of calm and angry

"Very well, killing you would be a mercy and a relief." Another female voice said with hidden anger in her voice

(? ? ?)

"Recklessness and carelessness truly does come naturally to you. I admit that you caught me off guard the last time we fought. But my power has increased since then. So what makes you think that this will have a favorable outcome?" A female voice said

"Because this time, you have nowhere to run. This time nobody else will get in the way. This time I won't stop until your nothing more than a bloodied corpse. Let's go bitch." A male voice angrily said to the female

(The Vermillion Estate)

After seeing such strange dreams, Noel quickly woke up and was in a cold and nervous sweat. After she cleaned herself up, she started to think about those strange voices in her head. The sounds of those voices were too vivid to be a dream and to add to it, many of those voices sounds very familiar. As she was in thought about the strange dream, a knock came at the door and when she answered it, Noel saw a friendly face.

"Tsubaki, its great to see you again. It's been too long since we saw each other." Noel happily said as she hugged her friend.

"It's good to see you too Noel. I'm sorry I haven't visited you before, a lot of stuff happened and it took up more of my time and attention than intended." Tsubaki told Noel

"I understand, I'm just happy to know that your alive and well. I wish that Makoto was here. I know that she's needed in Vale and that she still sends me letters. But it's just not the same and I do miss her." Noel told Tsubaki they sat in the living room

"So much has happened since the Fall of Beacon, so it does make sense that a lot of people are affected by it. Still I'm just glad that your recovering." Tsubaki told Noel

"So what brings you here, I was about to cook some food. Do you want some?" Noel asked before Tsubaki spoke up

"I already had a big breakfast before I came here. But there is something I want to show you." Tsubaki said as she brought out a picture and handed it to Noel

"What is this?" Noel asked in a curious tone as she looked at the picture

"During a recent mission I found that picture. I can't tell you specific details but that picture stood out to me. I know a Doctor who was able to restore it as best as he could and when I saw it in it's restored form. I saw something interesting. Noel, I know that you were adopted, but doesn't a certain someone in that picture look familiar?" Tsubaki asked as Noel took a better look at the picture

"The girl in that picture looks like . . . me." Noel said in a surprised tone

"Noel, do you remember anything from your past. I know I'm asking you for a lot but I need you to try and remember something." Tsubaki told Noel

"I'm sorry Tsubaki, but the only thing I can remember is a flash of light when I try to remember anything about my life before I was adopted. I know it's not much to go on." Noel said in a regretful tone

"It's OK, but the fact that you look similar to the girl in the picture is too strange of a coincidence. Not to mention one of the young boys in the picture. The more I think about it as I looked at it, he looks just like . . . ." Tsubaki said before Noel spoke up

"That is me, and the one besides me is Jin, the other boy is Ragna and the younger girl is Saya. While the woman is pregnant with another child." Noel said in a monotone voice with her eyes changing colors to blue indicating the use of her semblance

"That's right, how were you able to tell?" Tsubaki asked in a surprised and concerned tone

"I don't know, when I focused on the picture, my semblance activated on its own and the details just came to my mind." Noel answered

"This isn't the first time your semblance activated on its own. But the fact that you've confirmed that it's you in this picture along with Jin confirms my suspicions. I think that this proves that Jin is your twin brother. I know it's a stretch, but I can't deny the possibility." Tsubaki told Noel as she was deep in thought

"So Jin and Ragna are my brothers and Saya is my sister. This is . . . this is . . . ." Noel muttered which Tsubaki heard

"Oh dear, I should have known that this would be too much for her to take in. Especially when she is still recovering from her coma. I should've waited until she was fully recovered before I showed her what I found. I should take he picture back and come back later." Tsubaki thought before she spoke

"Noel I . . ." Tsubaki said before Noel quickly spoke

"THIS IS GREAT!" Noel yelled in excitement which shocked Tsubaki

"Um what?" Tsubaki said in a confused tone

"I have a family, I mean I love my Mom and Dad very much. But it's amazing to know that I have family related to me by blood. Also it's great to know that I'm Jin's sister. All those times he was very strict and scary. Is really him looking out for me as my brother. Also Ragna is my brother as well, a lot of people have the tough on the outside, kind on the inside brother and I'm one of them. Also Saya is my little sister." Noel explained excitedly to Tsubaki with a tone of a lot of happiness.

"You're taking this . . . better than I thought." Tsubaki told Noel in a surprised tone

"I am surprised, but the fact that I have blood relatives is much better than the problems. I've known Jin for years so this is easy for me to accept and even though I've known Ragna for a few months. Despite everyone labeling him the Beast of Remnant. It feels like I'm more connected to him that's deeper than being teammates. This is so exciting for me, I can't wait for my brothers and sister to meet my parents." Noel explained to Tsubaki maintaining her excitement

"I see your point, since you already know them. It'll be easy for you to establish a bond with them." Tsubaki told Noel

"I know, there are so many things we can do together as a family. I know, I can cook for them everyday for family dinner." Noel happily said oblivious to Tsubaki's shocked expression

"Oh no." Tsubaki thought with a shocked expression that Noel doesn't notice

"AUUUGGGHHH! This is worse than anything I can imagine!" Ragna yelled after eating

"This hurts, why does this hurts me so much?" Saya asked while in immense pain

"Because we ate our sister's cooking." Ragna answered while in immense pain

"Tsubaki, you've brought this misery on us. I will never forgive you." Jin told Tsubaki while in pain which got Tsubaki out of her imagination and back to reality

"Noel, maybe you should spend time getting to know them before you start cooking family dinners. From what you've told me, Ragna and Jin are at odds with each other and things are bad with Ragna because of everything that happened. Not to mention that even though you've known Jin for years. It's mainly through school or when we're all together." Tsubaki told Noel trying to avoid the disastrous dinner

"I see your point, but the fact that I have blood relatives is pretty exciting. I know them as teammates. But now I will get to know them as family." Noel happily said

"Let's hope it doesn't involve your cooking." Tsubaki thought to herself before Noel spoke up

"Tsubaki, Mai told me about what happened at the Fundraiser. You and her should never have been insulted like that. Are you OK?" Noel asked in a concerned tone

"I'm fine Noel, my team stood by me and came to my defense. Though what was said will be considered a rumor. It won't stop people talking about me or my family behind my back. Especially when you've heard the things the other Nobles have done which is monstrous to say the least. I'm sorry but I don't want to talk about it any further." Tsubaki told Noel

"I understand, if you're not busy we can just spend time with each other. It has been too long since we last saw each other and I could use a friendly face since Mom and Dad are going to be out for a while." Noel told Tsubaki

"Sure, I would very much like that." Tsubaki happily responded

(A Room in the House)

Yang found herself in the room within the house lying down on the bed. She is in deep thought about everything that's been happening and the conversation that she had with her teammates. Yang is fully devoted to support her sister. Especially with the backup from her girlfriend Makoto. Yet the problem is that every time she sees Ragna, she is filled with rage. Ragna triggering her abandonment issues by lying and fighting her is already bad enough. Yang understands that Ragna suffered a lot during the Fall of Beacon. It was also explained to her that Terumi is the reason Ragna lost control of his power the way he did. Yang wants to let go of what happened. Yet when she tries to do so, the pain she bears, that was born from her abandonment issues. Making things worse is that it's clear to Yang that Ragna is riven by one thing and one thing only and its revenge. It would be one thing if he had a strong desire to do the right thing. Or support her sister or the others. Yet Yang sees that Ragna is blinded and obsessed with the chance to get revenge. Yang recognizes that obsession all too well and with everything that she knows about Ragna. This obsession makes Ragna a danger to everyone, including Ruby.

"I don't want to talk about it Ruby." Yang said as she heard the door opened up. When she looked to see who entered, it was Weiss who entered.

"Oh, hey Weiss, is there something wrong?" Yang asked in a surprised tone before Weiss sat down beside her

"I know your angry, but I wanted to talk to you about Ragna." Weiss told Yang

"What's there to talk about?" Yang asked with hints of frustration in her voice

"I know your angry, don't forget I fought him at Beacon with you. But when I arrived at your Mother's camp. I decided to give Ragna a chance to explain himself." Weiss told Yang

"I know he went through a lot. But him lying, fighting us, even protecting the girl that cut off my arm. I can't just let that go easily, especially when he's determined to not only save that girl. But also be obsessed with revenge. I trusted and confided in him, yet he still hurt me and is driven by revenge." Yang explained to Weiss

"Yang, the reason Ragna lied to us is that he was backed into a corner. When he learned that it was Cinder at the tower. He decided to confront her with his suspicions. To see if he could learn something that could help him find something that could incriminate her. Unfortunately, when he did so Celica and Saya were threatened." Weiss told Yang which surprised her

"What?" Yang muttered before Weiss continued

"The moment Cinder threatened Ragna's family, He realized that he couldn't be careless, because if he does, then they could get killed." Weiss told a surprised Yang

"You said that Jin told you, why would he go to Jin and not any of us?" Yang asked

"Yang, when we tried to do things our way. So many things went wrong, which includes our encounter with Azrael. Not to mention that when we went to Mountain Glenn, the Grimm Breach still happened and we all failed to stop anything. If we'd have learned about the threat, would we have helped anything or made things worse?" Weiss asked Yang before she continued

"Not to mention that Celica and Saya are Jin's family despite being distant. Ragna didn't go to Jin because he trusted him more. Ragna went to Jin because he was desperate and made them a target." Weiss explained further to Yang

"What did he tell you about Nu?" Yang asked

"The only thing he told me is that Nu went through something terrible. Which drove her to do the things she's done. Though he didn't tell me that she was his sister. But from what we were told of the Murakumo Labs. I can see why Ragna wanted to help her. Though there's a lot of things he handles poorly. I can at least understand, why he did the things he did." Weiss explained to Yang

"It just hurts Weiss, out of everyone in Beacon and my own team. Ragna was someone I grew really close to. I trusted and confided in him. When everyone was against me when I was set up, Ragna stood up for me more than anyone else would. But now that I learned that he's been lying to us, to me of all people. It feels like that the time we spent together was a lie. When he lied to me and fought against us, if feels like he abandoned me the same way my mother abandoned me when I was a baby." Yang explained to Weiss before she spoke further

"To make things worse, the reason he's traveled here. It wasn't to make up for hurting me, or to help Ruby. He's driven by revenge and is still determined to protect the same girl who cut off my arm. He may have a good reason to want to help Nu, but the pain I'm feeling. I can't just let it go when I feel so hurt." Yang explained further to Weiss

"I know he handled things poorly, but he did want to help Nu. I think Ragna knew that if he decided to help Nu, a lot of people would be against it and would see her as a threat. As for his wish for revenge. I think I can understand how he's feeling when I think about certain aspects of my life." Weiss told Yang before she spoke further

"Growing up, I've learned about a lot of the awful things my father has done. To the workers of the Dust Mines who has to endure poor treatment and conditions. Crushing smaller businesses without a shred of mercy. Even the questionable business deals that my father is likely involved with. Anyone who had a grudge against my father, would take it out on me in some form or fashion. Slowly but surely, I would start to resent my father. Which in a way turned into a desire for revenge against my father for everything I had to endure because of him." Weiss explained further to Yang before she continued

"What Ragna went through is worse than anything I can imagine. He lost control of his power and killed a lot of people because of Terumi and Cinder. As a result, the world has been turned against him and most of it wants him dead. Nobody will fully trust him and unless he's with people he can trust, he will be alone. His family is hurt and he can't get close to them. Not to mention the complicated relationship between him and Jin." Weiss explained to Yang while she listened

"Ragna doesn't think things through and tends to handle things poorly. But after talking with him and giving him a chance to explain his side of the story. I think that in his own way, he wants to protect people and prevent people from suffering as much as possible. He's the kind of person who will endure pain if it means no one else has to suffer." Weiss explained to Yang

"That does sound like him." Yang told Weiss

"When Ragna make his decisions, I think he's willing to face anyone for the things he believes in. Even he has to go against the world. If he has to go against the world, then he's not the kind of person to involve people into it. Not to mention nobody would . . . ." Weiss was saying before Yang quickly spoke up

"I WOULD HAVE!" Yang yelled which surprised Weiss before she spoke further

"If Ragna had just told me everything from the beginning. I would have stood by his side and did as he said. If he'd have told me and I had to choose between him and the world. I would have chosen him, and it's because I . . ." Yang said before her and Weiss noticed the tears on Yang's face before she started to cry

"It just hurts so much, I could have been there for him." Yang said as she cried

"I understand." Weiss said before she stood up and left. Before she went too far, Yang spoke up

"Weiss, thank you for coming to talk to me." Yang said in a grateful tone

"Anytime Yang, if you ever want to talk. Just know that I'm always available." Weiss happily said after she walked out the door. Once Weiss walked further down the hall, a familiar voice spoke out to her

"Weiss." A female voice yelled out. When Weiss looked to see who it was, she saw that it was Makoto and she was with Jaune

"Hey Makoto, do you need me for something?" Weiss asked in a curious tone

"In fact, we do. Because you are now part of operation reconcile." Makoto said before she grabbed Weiss's hand and dashed away with her, with Jaune following

(The White Fang's Hideout)

After Adam's appearance at the conference that was set up by Ghira. Many more Faunus have joined up with the White Fang. Even though Sienna Khan is still cautious of both Adam's plans and Azrael's promise. She saw that with everything going on with the Faunus throughout Remnant. The White Fang needs to be in a position of strength. Though she is against the attacks against the schools. Azrael made several good points in that with the White Fang fighting back against the humans. There was no way that the humans would take the attacks and not retaliate. For now, she'll allow Adam to run things, if things succeed then this will be a big boost for the White Fang. If not, then Sienna can regain control of the White Fang and bring Adam back under control before it's too late.

"More of our Faunus brothers and sisters have joined us in our noble mission." Corsac told Adam through the holo call.

"Good, and what about the ones who will be a part of the attack on Haven?" Adam asked while Sienna was listening nearby

"They are going over the preparations once again. While also undergoing training, we understand that a mission of such significance must be handled with care." Fennec answered

"Excellent, the mission will commence in six weeks from now. The success of this mission will not only deal another blow to the human race. But we will be put in a prime position to finally deal with Atlus." Adam told the brothers with enthusiasm

"Agreed, with the new recruits we've acquired and the Kingdom of Atlus losing support. It will give us an opportunity we can't ignore." Corsac said before his brother spoke up

"What shall we do about the Belladonna's that still seek to hinder us? Even though they don't have the support they were hoping for. There are still some Faunus who are sympathetic to their beliefs and if left alone. It could present some unpleasant obstacles." Fennec explained to Adam

"The sympathies for the humans have blinded the Belladonna's to the reality of what needs to be done. Once they see the fruits of our success, the Belladonna's along with many reserved Faunus will come around to our side. But it's essential that they do not catch wind of our plan. Do not harm them, but make sure that they do not learn of the plans for Haven." Adam commanded

"Understood, we have formed a plan with Sister Ilia to ensure that the Belladonna's will not interfere. They still have supporters from those outside of Menagerie and we must be prepared to deal with them as well." Corsac told Adam

"See to it that you do." Adam said before he cut off the communications

"I hope you know what your doing Adam." Sienna told Adam in a cautious tone

"I know that it doesn't look like it high leader. But I need you to trust me as you have done so in the past. Though it goes against your preference, the attack on Beacon was a victory in the long run. The humans now know not to take us lightly and when we succeed with our plans for Haven. We will finally destroy the symbol of our oppression which is the Kingdom of Atlus." Adam briefly explained to Sienna

"The only reason I'm going along with this is because of the statements your partner made regarding our standing in Atlus. That Kingdom has oppressed the Faunus for years and even with all that we've done. It feels like the White Fang is nothing more than a subject of gossip to the nobles of Atlus. We attack them once, they can recover what's been lost in a few weeks." Sienna explained to Adam

"I understand your concerns High Leader. But with everything that's been set up, we will soon be able to accomplish a feat that will make history. Especially with the aid of our partners who will most certainly keep their word. I know not to trust them blindly and they are merely a means to an end." Adam explained to Sienna Khan

"This better work Adam, for your sake and the Faunus." Sienna Khan said before she left Adam alone

(The House)

Even though Yang's anger towards Ragna has died down a little bit. She felt better after talking with Weiss. She has a better understanding about why Ragna did what he did. But the pain and anger she has is still there. Especially since she lost her arm indirectly because of Ragna. Currently Yang found it surprising that Makoto wanted to talk with her in a separate room. Since coming to Mistral, Yang hasn't spent much time with her girlfriend that didn't involve traveling together. Once Yang made it to the large room to see that it was empty.

"Makoto, are you here?" Yang called out but didn't get a response. A brief second later, Yang heard someone enter the room and when she looked to see who it was, Yang saw that it was Ragna.

"You." Yang quickly said causing both her and Ragna to realize what happened. Ragna tried to get out of the room, but he quickly realized that the door is closed tight and won't budge.

"Damn." Ragna muttered when he realized that he is locked in the room with Yang

(The Branwen Camp)

After everything was settled with the guests. The Camp has significantly calmed down from a lot of the excitement. Though many of the Tribe won't admit it, they are glad to know that Ragna is gone. Because despite their confidence in Raven's ability to have him join. There is the concern that if pushed towards it, Ragna could destroy the Tribe with nobody to stop him. Once everything was settled for the most part, Shay found himself with the duty of guarding the entrance.

"Those damn kids, take me on in a fair fight and they'll see how tough I am." Shay said as he was guarding the entrance. While he was in thought, he saw a group of people coming towards the Branwen Camp. Yet among the group, there were a couple of standouts. One of the standouts is a young kid who is sleeping on what appears to be a walking bed. Yet the other standout is a little girl with an eyepatch. As the group was walking, the little girl with the eyepatch walked faster and further and got closer.

"If you guys know what's good for you. Then you'll walk away before you get hurt." Shay said as he grabbed his pistol

"Hahahahaha, I can sense it. My Ragna was here, I know he was here." Nu muttered while chuckling

"I'm warning you, go away before you regret it." Shay said as he pointed his pistol

"Your in the way between me and Ragna." Nu said as she launched several swords at Shay. A brief second later, a loud scream was heard.

(A/N)

Something I've noticed about Makoto is that she is someone who is not judgmental towards people. So she will not judge Jaune for cheating into Beacon, especially since she has a tendency to look at things from a different perspective.

For Yang, I know that there has been a lot of responses towards her anger at Ragna. The reason is that even though Ragna has a good reason for doing the thing he did. He handled it the wrong way and Yang took it personally. Especially since Ragna is the indirect reason, she lost her arm. Not to mention along with the abandonment issues she has due to what Raen did. It will be much harder for her to deal with Ragna because she is hurt on a personal level.

For Noel's reaction, I wanted to try a brief subversion to how characters react to finding out someone they know is related to them. Since Noel tends to be optimistic about a lot of things, I figured that her being excited to have several blood siblings is very possible.

The visions Noel had are future events in the story. The reason she has these visions is because of the Eye of Blue and her semblance getting stronger. I WILL NOT REVEAL WHAT THEY ARE. But you guys are more than welcomed to speculate what the events are. They are also out of order but there are some hints in the details.

Volume 5 portion of this story will end soon, then this story will get to volume 6. I apologize for the Volume 5 portion of this story taking so long but there was so much I needed to go through. At this point, I have a general idea of when Volume 5 will end. Also, I'm going to deviate from canon in a major way in volume 5.

I'm curious, how am I doing with the Volume 5 portion of this story compared to canon?

So read and review

Thank you
