To answer a few questions I've recently received
The finale will not be 4 parts like the Fall of Beacon. Originally I wanted this to be 2 parts but from the content and story pace. The finale will have to be 3 parts. At the end of this chapter and the author's note, it will be clear on why.
For the theme that would best fit Ragna vs Cinder. It's between three themes that comes to mind that best fits.
Theme 1
Gideon's Wrath from Scott Pilgrim vs the World the game.
This theme comes to mind because both Ragna and Cinder hate each other and when they are fighting each other. They are driven by their sense of wrath and want to destroy each other. The theme is intense and fits the fight and emotional context perfectly between the two.
Theme 2
Vergil fight 2 from Devil May Cry 3
This theme is also intense and just like the game. Ragna is fighting someone who is drive and obsessed with power. Though Cinder is not as cool and strong as Vergil.
Theme 3
The 13th Dilemma from Kingdom Hearts 2
This theme fits because Ragna is fighting against a strong opponent who is not only a threat. But there is also a personal stake in it for him. The theme is also intense and it fits the fight as well.
Chapter 83 The Grand Clash at Haven PT 2
(Haven's CCT Tower)
After returning to Mistral ever since the Fall of Beacon, Baiken has kept a close eye on Haven. The reason is that the voice in the message has mentioned the Kingdom specifically and made it clear that whoever orchestrated the events at Beacon. Will most certainly target Haven. When Baiken did some investigating of her own. She noticed an interesting string of activities within Mistral. The activities involved the consistent disappearances of various Huntsmen and Huntresses. The frequency of these disappearances along with the details of the mission being kept secret made it clear to the veteran Huntress that none of this is a coincidence and that there is a lot more to this. Being warned by Tora that the White Fang is planning something for Haven affirmed Baiken's suspicions. Once she saw movement from the White Fang. Baiken took immediate action and made her way to the CCT Tower. Fortunately, the White Fang were easy to deal with just like the ones back in Beacon. However, the leader of the White Fang is much stronger and more skilled than the others.
For a good deal of time, Baiken kept Sienna at a small distance by continuously shooting at her. This lasted for a few minutes, until Sienna deflected a few more gunshots and was able to get closer to Baiken. Once Sienna was close to Baiken, she tried to attack her with her chain whip. Fortunately, Baiken's skills with her sword allowed her to parry a good number of Sienna's attacks. As Baiken was parrying each of Sienna's attacks. She slowly found herself on the defensive due to Sienna's impressive reflexes and agility. Making things worse is that Sienna decided to attack Baiken on her right side. Since Baiken would have a harder time attacking Sienna since her gun arm isn't meant for close quarters fighting.
As Sienna was landing several hits against Baiken, she noticed that her aura was slowly getting weaker. The moment Baiken noticed this, she used her gun arm to fire at Sienna to get her away. As Sienna was avoiding the gunshots, she launched one of chain blades at Baiken's gun arm and the blade landed. A brief second later, Baiken's gun arm froze and as a result she was unable to fire at Sienna. Before Baiken could break the ice, she quickly defended herself against Sienna's aggressive attacks using her sword. As Baiken was defending herself, she noticed that Sienna's attacks were getting stronger and faster.
Due to Sienna getting stronger, Baiken found it harder to defend herself. As the attacks were getting more aggressive, Baiken was on the defensive more and more. This continued for a few more minutes until Sienna found an opening and landed a kick and pushed her back. Once Sienna was pushed back by the kick. Baiken rushed towards her and landed a barrage of attack slashes against her and injured the tiger Faunus enough to cause her aura to flicker. When Baiken used her semblance to look at Sienna and saw her aura. Once she did, Baiken made a smirk on her face.
"So that's why. Your body and aura get stronger as your opponent's aura gets weaker. A semblance that's perfectly suited for a predator that's in a long drawn-out fight." Baiken told Sienna
"It's not often people can figure out my semblance. It would be a shame to have unnecessary bloodshed. All we want is the CCT Tower to fall. Take you and your friend away from here and your life is guaranteed." Sienna Khan told Baiken
"I don't know why but your tactics have changed. Though the White Fang went overboard you always did make it a point to attack extreme racists against the Faunus. So it is clear that you were promised something big if you succeeded in this mission. So what could it be?" Baiken asked which angered Sienna
"That's none of your business." Sienna said in a defensive tone
"I supposed it doesn't matter if you answer my questions now." Baiken said before she stabbed her sword to the ground and destroyed the ice that enveloped her right arm with a slam of her left hand before she picked up her sword.
After the ice was destroyed, Sienna started to aggressively attack Baiken. This time, instead of trying to defend against her attacks by blocking. Baiken decided to just simply anticipate the attack. Once Sienna got closer with her attack, she attacked Baiken with her whip. Only for the Huntress to calmly dodge it. Sienna was slightly confused but continued her attack assault against Baiken. Instead of blocking and parrying the attacks like before, Baiken continued to evade Sienna's attacks and would occasionally landed a kick and sword attack against Sienna. Baiken's attacks against Sienna were quick and they slowly weakened her.
Despite Sienna getting stronger and faster from the earlier use of her semblance. She is having a hard time landing a hit against Baiken. Even though Sienna is using her impressive speed, reflexes, and agility against Baiken. Sienna is having a hard time landing an attack against the Huntress. Even though she is attacking Baiken's blind side, a strategy that worked earlier. This time, it is not as effective as before and Baiken is dodging the attacks with relative ease.
Baiken continued to dodge Sienna's attacks until she noticed a few more members of the White Fang were coming towards them. Once the White Fang members got close enough to help Sienna. Baiken concentrated on her strength and once both Sienna and the White Fang members were in a specific position. Baiken delivered a powerful slash that was able to hit Sienna Khan and the other White Fang members. After getting hit by the attack, many of the White Fang members were knocked out. While Sienna was able to recover despite her aura flickering. After Sienna recovered, she looked at Baiken and launched one of her chain blades at the Huntress. Realizing that the blade is likely filled with Dust. Baiken quickly used her sword to cut the blade and run past it while going for Sienna Khan. Before the Sienna could do anything, Baiken delivered a flurry of powerful slashes against her and once the barrage of slashes ended. Sienna was knocked back and her aura broke.
"How?" Sienna asked in a confused tone
"The moment I realized how your semblance works. I figured out your fighting style and I knew how to counter it. For starters you relied on your speed and strength but as a result you threw away your defenses. It also helped that I focused on my aura to prevent it from getting weaker. Which makes your semblance not as effective. Now talk, what were the White Fang promised in exchange for the fall of Haven's CCT Tower?" Baiken asked in a bold tone
"I'm telling you nothing." Sienna Khan responded in a bold tone of her own
"That's fine, I'll have plenty of chances to make you talk in the interrogation room after your arrest." Baiken said before she knocked out Sienna Khan. After checking on Sienna Khan to confirm that she's unconscious. Baiken decided fight the other members of the White Fang
Lambda spent time destroying the various explosive charges the White Fang set up. Fortunately, Lambda was able to find a good number of them and deal with the attacking White Fang members with relative ease. However, Lambda used her semblance and saw that there were several more explosive charges.
As Lambda was making her way towards another explosive charge. She quickly cut down the White Fang members that tried to attack her. Dealing with the White Fang members was easy, but the problem was not knowing how much time she had before the charges were activated. Which motivated Lambda to go faster and destroy more of the explosive charges. Before she could get to the next one. Lambda used her twin swords to block and deflect several gunshots that was aimed at her.
While Lambda was defending herself, she noticed that the members of the White Fang were getting electrocuted. When they turned to see who was attacking them. They saw a masked girl with long hair who deactivated her camouflage and quickly attacked them with her lightning lash. After they were dealt with, Lambda destroyed another one of the bombs before being confronted by the girl
"My name is Ilia, I know it doesn't look like it but I am on your side. Please give me a chance to help you stop the White Fang." Ilia told Lambda in a pleading tone
"Very well, due to the nature of the attack. It is evident that time is not on our side and failing to get rid of the bombs will result in the loss of the CCT Tower. Defend me from the White Fang and I shall be able to disarm the explosive charges. Since it will be much easier for me to find them due to my semblance." Lambda told Ilia
"I understand, thank you for trusting me." Ilia said before the two did what they needed to do against the Bombs and the White Fang
(Haven's Courtyard)
Ever since Jin destroyed Adam's mask, the fight between the two has gotten more intense. Jin unintentionally found himself defending more against Adam's attacks. Instead of using his semblance for large attacks like before. Adam used his semblance to enhance his movements and slightly strengthened his attacks to preserve his aura and counter the ice Jin manipulates. Every time Jin blasts ice shards at Adam, the ice shards would be destroyed by Adam. Once the ice shards were destroyed, he would get closer to Jin and tried to cut him down. Fortunately, Jin's skills with his sword allowed him block and parry a good number of Adam's attacks. Unfortunately, Adam has proved to be as skilled with his sword and is showing it.
Every time Jin would attempt a counterattack. Adam would skillfully parry the attack and tried to attack Jin with the brief opening he has. As a result, Jin managed to defend himself against Adam's aattacks. Unfortunately, because of Adam's aggressive attacks Jin is unable to make use of the environment. Which prevents him from freezing the area and using his semblance. Making things worse is that it's clear that Adam's semblance can strength his body, while Jin's semblance utilizes the environment. As Jin was on the defensive, he noticed that Adam attempted to shoot Jin while the two were close. Reacting quickly, Jin cut Adam's gun in half and created an opening.
"Blizzard." Jin said before he made several strong ice sword waves at Adam
After being hit and knocked back by Jin's attack. Adam used his semblance to create sevral sword waves of his own while Jin used his Blizzard attack. Both Jin's and Adam's sword wave attack clashed against each other and a small explosion soon followed. Once the explosion dissipated, jin and Adam charged towards each other and they fought against each other at an intense speed. This occurred for a few seconds until Jin jumped back and froze the nearby tree with his sword. Once it was frozen, Jin used his semblance to break the frozen tree and launched a large barrage of ice shards at Adam.
Seeing the large ice shard barrage, Adam focused on evading the attack. This is what Jin wanted, since Adam unintentionally got closer to him and Jin started to aggressively attack him. As a result, Adam was forced to defend himself against Jin's attacks. This didn't last long as Jin was slowly overwhelming Adam. Therefore, Adam had to be on the defensive and tried to find an opening. Unfortunately, Jin's intense speed didn't present such a moment and after a few seconds. Jin was able to cut Adam's leg and a quick second later his leg was frozen. Once Adam realized what happened, he tried to break the ice the covered his leg. Unfortunately for Adam, Jin followed up on this by cutting his arms and a few seconds later. Many parts of Adam's body started to get frozen.
"You can't stop me Human, the White Fang will triumph on this day." Adam angrily stated to Jin
"As I said earlier, the ones your working for don't give a damn about the Faunus. Your only being used and once you've fulfilled your purpose. You'll be tossed aside and left to die." Jin told Adam
"What you say doesn't matter Human, dividing humanity by the destruction of the CCT Tower. Will allow the Faunus to our rightful place in the world. Your kind will pay for everything we've had to endure." Adam angrily told Jin while struggling to break out of the ice. A brief moment later, Jin instinctively blocked several gunshots with his sword and noticed several more White Fang members approach the two.
"Adam!" One of the members yelled before he made his way towards Adam to free him.
Seeing what the White Fang member was trying to do. Jin rushed towards him and froze him with Yukianesa. Unfortunately, the other White Fang members started to fire at Jin, forcing the blonde to be on the defensive. While Jin was avoiding and deflecting the gunshots. One of the members of the White Fang was able to break the ice that Adam was trapped in and freed him.
"What's the status of the bombs at the CCT Tower?" Adam asked as he recovered
"We can't contact anyone at the CCT Tower or our other White Fang brothers and Sisters." The White Fang member told Adam
"We heard from the others that he was accompanied by other people. There's a good chance that they interfered with the bombs." The White Fang member told Adam
"Our brothers and sisters will succeed in the mission. Right now we need to bring despair to the humans by killing the Hero to the Humans." Adam stated as the others continued to fire at Jin.
Jin spent time avoiding and deflecting the gunshots as they were being fired on him. Unfortunately, Jin is pressed for time and the White Fang knows it. Because he's outnumbered and his aura has lessened from his fight with Adam. Jin will be unable to deal with such a large number of people. While Jin was thinking of a way to deal with the White Fang members with his aura preserves in mind. A marble was launched passed Jin and hit one of the members of the White Fang. Once it did, a strong flash soon followed that blinded the White Fang members.
While the White Fang were blinded, two figures ran towards the crowd and proceeded to attack several members of the White Fang. Once the bright light dissipated, it was revealed to be both Bullet and Makoto. Before any member of the White Fang could attack. Bullet and Makoto split up and attacked several members of the White Fang.
Makoto would deliver several strong jabs and kicks to the White Fang. While also avoid the various attacks and gunfire the White Fang would try to do. When one of the White Fang members got Makoto in her sights. Makoto ran towards the intended shooter and combined her semblance and aura to create three astral image illusions in different positions. The White Fang member fired at one of the images and the bullets went through. After one of the asteroid images disappeared. The real Makoto delivered a strong attack that knocked the White Fang member towards the other members.
Bullet herself attacked the White Fang with simple but effective punches. The White Fang were more aggressive with their melee attacks against Bullet. Fortunately, Bullet easily avoided the attacks and countered by delivering a strong blow against the attacker. Due to her semblance, Bullet was getting stronger and stronger from each of her attacks. The growth of Bullet's strength continued for a few more seconds until she delivered a strong punch that launched one of the White Fang members to the crowd and a crater was made shortly after.
"You two need to go to the CCT Tower. Leave these guys to me and make sure the White Fang do not succeed. I can handle these people." Jin told Makoto and Bullet
"Why thank you for showing gratitude towards us for giving you help Jin." Makoto said in a tone with a mix of snark and sarcasm
"You act as if I needed it or asked for it." Jin responded before Adam spoke up
"I remember you from Beacon. Why do you help the Hero to the Humans? You need to see that the death of the False Hero and the fall of Haven's CCT Tower will divide humanity and give the Faunus a chance to rise above the Humans to our rightful place in the world." Adam stated to Makoto
"Do you honestly think that attacking humans the way you do is going to help the Faunus? From everything I've seen, your justifying the hate and fear the humans have towards us." Makoto told Adam
"The Humans need to pay for their hubris! They need to pay for the pain and suffering they've brought to our kind. If you want proof that the humans need to be punished, all you need to do is look at my face. Inflicted on me by the SDC themselves." Adam stated to Makoto which angered her
"You think you're the only one who suffered? I have also endured terrible things just for being a Faunus. There was a time in my life when I hated the humans. But I've met humans who showed me that there are good people in the world. I'm glad that I worked through my hate. Since I won't become a monster like you. Who will destroy the guilty and the innocent." Makoto stated which angered Adam
"If you will not fight to bring salvation to our kind. Then you are willing to help the enemy subjugate our kind and I will destroy you." Adam said as he rushed towards Makoto
The moment Adam got close to Makoto. He aggressively attacked her with no focus our strategy. Fortunately, Makoto stayed on the defensive and easily endured Adam's sword attacks. This lasted for a few seconds until Makoto saw an opening and kicked Adam away. Once space was made between the two, Makoto used her asteroid illusions and they were all directed towards Adam. Thinking quickly, Adam jumped back and once all three images of Makoto were in one spot. Adam landed a quick slash against the squirrel Faunus and it pushed her back a small distance. Fortunately, Makoto's aura was able to protect her.
Before Adam could perform a follow-up attack, Jin stepped in and blocked Adam's sword attack with his own. While Adam was focused on Jin and Makoto, Bullet landed a strong punch against Adam and it knocked him back a good distance. After Adam was knocked back, the White Fang started to shoot at the three of them. Reacting quickly, Jin created a sturdy ice wall to block the gunfire. But it was clear that Jin is getting closer to his limit, along with Makoto and Bullet.
"It's clear that you two have more aura reserves. Get to the CCT Tower and stop the White Fang. I can handle things from here." Jin told the two
"Your good, but your not that good. I can tell that your fight with that guy took a lot out of you. Not to mention your painfully outnumbered and I doubt you'll want to push your luck. Let's work together and deal with them quickly so we can stand a better chance." Makoto told Jin
"Not at the expense of the mission, which will have long term consequences that will benefit Salem." Jin responded while Jin maintained the ice-wall before it got destroyed.
After the ice wall was destroyed, the White Fang started to get closer to the group of three whith their guns pointed at them. Before anyone could do anything, a female figure in a yellow coat pounced on one of the White Fang members. A brief second later, she split into three clones and fought against the members of the White Fang. A few seconds later the three clones merged together she jumped in joy.
"Yay, I beat up the bad guys." The girl energetically said before she turned towards the group and they saw that it was Tao
"Tao!" Bullet said in a surprised tone
"Hey Bullet, I see your new outfit brings out your thighs. It might even show off your butt too just like your shorts. Makoto, Ice guy, you're here too, we get to beat up the bad guys together meow." Tao excitedly said the group
"You commenting on my butt Tao! We haven't seen each other in months and that is the first thing you say to me!?" Bullet angrily yelled at Tao causing the cat Faunus to have an embarrassed look before the White Fang got closer along with Adam.
"Another traitor to the Faunus, it makes no difference. You will die like all those who betray the Faunus." Adam said as he wielded his sword
"You and the White Fang are the ones who are betraying the Faunus Adam." A female voice said which got everyone's attention. When they all saw where the voice came from, they all saw that not only it came from Blake. But she was accompanied with Sun and many other armed Faunus with symbols that is similar to the White Fang's but significantly different.
"Matta?" One of the White Fang members said in a questioned tone
"Please, stop this before it's too late." One of the Faunus militia said in a pleading tone
"Your surrounded Adam, the police are here and the Huntsman are on their way. Surrender and this will not get any worse for you." Ghira said as more Faunus showed up while he was accompanied by Tora and the Bullheads showed up overhead the area
"Traitors, each and every one of you. You would allow the humans to go unpunished and maintain their tyranny? YOU ARE ALL HOLDING US BACK!" Adam stated to the Faunus militia
"Everything the White Fang is doing is just making things worse. Something that your enforcing by embracing your hate and rage. It's over Adam." Blake told Adam
"What about the bombs?" Adam angrily asked the White Fang member before several more people appeared. The ones who appeared are Ilia, Baiken and Lambda with a subdued Sienna Khan
"The bombs are deactivated, you can no longer destroy the CCT Tower." Ilia told Adam which angered him further
Seeing everything Adam worked hard to prepare and plan for destroyed angered him greatly. Even though he had questions as to how they knew about the attack against the CCT Tower. It is clear that Corsac and Fennec are connected to it and jeopardized things further. The anger within Adam built up further every second and now that the chance to bring down Atlus is out of reach and that he has lost. He will not go down without a fight.
"I WILL NOT GO DOWN LIKE THIS!" Adam yelled before he released a surge of his aura by activating his aura.
The Adam's aura burst surprised everyone and they were on guard for a strong attack. Jin on the other hand paid attention and saw that Adam was making an attack towards him. This time, Jin calmly waited for Adam to get close and once he did so. Jin used his sheath to block the powerful sword attack. Though the sheath dissipated as a result, Jin still had his sword and landed a slash attack that was strong enough to disarm Adam. Before the sword fell, Jin was able to grab it and help both his and Adam's sword to Adam's neck.
"Do it, like the wretched human that you are. I'd rather die as a warrior fighting to bring justice to your kind. Than to die as a helpless prisoner behind your stone walls." Adam stated to Jin
"Justice will come, but by the standards of order and not by your spiteful arrogance." Jin sad before he tossed Adam's sword and used the handle of his own sword to hit Adam on the head and knocked him out.
After Adam was knocked out, the other White Fang members started to fight against the Faunus Militia. Before Jin fought against the White Fang, Makoto spoke to him.
"Jin, me and Bullet will help deal with the White Fang. You need to check on Ruby and the others. Since something has clearly gone wrong for them." Makoto told Jin
"Something is wrong with Ruby?" Blake said before Jin spoke up
"I'll explain on the way, but the short version is that there was more to the Fall of Beacon than you think." Jin told Blake before the two ran to where the others are
"Thank you for saving me from Adam back at Beacon." Blake told Jin
"No thanks needed, just focus on the task at hand." Jin responded to Blake
(Haven's Grand Hall)
Yang spent a good deal of time defending herself against Bedman. Unfortunately, she learned that the mechanical bed that the young boy is in is a lot stronger and more durable than she thought. Making things worse is that her sister Ruby is significantly drained. It doesn't look like her aura broke and there is no visible injury. Which means that whatever Bedman did to Ruby is affecting her mind. Bang and Nora was occupied fighting against Emerald and Mercury, while the rest is fighting against Hazel.
Yang's was consistent with her attacks against Bedman. Unfortunately, Bedman's mechanical bed was quick on the defenses and proved to be just as durable. After failing to deliver several punches, Yang decided to launch several blasts at Bedman while staying close to Ruby. Only for the blasts to be blocked with ease and Bedman had a bored look on his face.
"I can read you very easily. So let me make a quick summation to the type of person you are. Your attacks are overly aggressive and you rely heavily on brute force. Which shows that you're the adventurous type. Born from a desire to see the world due to a limited upbringing. From what I've seen of your mother, It's safe to say you never had a good and stable role model. How is my summation of you?" Bedman quickly told Yang
"I don't care how you analyze me. But you will pay for what you've done to my sister!" Yang angrily told Bedman
"A protective instinct that's stronger than a typical sibling protective nature. I can assume that it's born from something like putting her in danger." Bedman said in a mocking tone
"How dare you." Yang angrily said
"Yang." Ruby weakly said as she was getting up and recovering
"Ruby." Yang said in a relieved tone as she ran to her sister
"This will be quick." Bedman said before he made a motion to attack AS Yang mentally kicked herself for momentarily letting her guard down. Before the attack went further, the mechanical arms blocked a giant white sword t hat came from Weiss's summoning.
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about you." Bedman told Weiss
"Then you'll remember me." Jin said as he ran and attacked Bedman. Reacting quickly, the mechanical arms of Bedman's bed blocked Jin's sword attack. A brief second later, the arms froze and Jin continued his attack against the young man. Only for a barrier to be formed to protect Bedman. After hitting the barrier, Jin jumped back and made space between Bedman and the others.
"Thanks for your help, but where are the others? What happened out there?" Yang asked Jin
"We ran into some trouble with the White Fang. Blake can fill you in on the rest." Jin said before Yang and Weiss looked to see that Blake entered the main hall
"Blake." Both Yang and Weiss said in a surprised tone before there was noticeable movement from Ruby
"Blake." Ruby said as she slowly turned to see her friend and the realization slowly dawned on her that the entirety of team RWBY has been reunited. At the sight of her team, Ruby started to have more energy and recovered from Bedman's nightmare theater. After a few seconds, Ruby was able to recover and she grabbed Crescent Rose.
"Are you Okay?" Yang asked in a concerned tone
"I'm fine, but we need to deal with him. This shouldn't be a problem now, since team RWBY is reunited." Ruby enthusiastically said before the main hall shook
"What's going on?" Weiss asked
"I suspect that my brother is involved in some way. Since I don't see him among you all." Jin said as he faced Bedman
"Ragna is probably fighting Cinder, one of us has to go and help him." Weiss stated as her and Jin fought against Bedman
"Ruby, can you handle things up here?" Yang asked her sister
"He just shook me up a bit. I'll be fine here, you need to go to the Vault." Ruby said before she blocked an attack from one of Bedman's mechanical arms
"Your not getting down there blondie." Mercury said as he quickly grabbed Yang's arm. As Yang was tempted to fight, she knew that she had bigger things to worry about. Which is why she detached her arm and made her way to the vault. Before she entered, another tremor shook the main hall and this time, it caused everyone to stumble. Fortunately, this created a window of opportunity for Yang and she entered the elevator to enter the vault.
"The Beast of Remnant and the Hero of Vale. Oh no." Professor Lionheart said in a fearful tone before he ran further down the hall leaving the rest of Salem's forces alone with the others.
"Great, the cowardly lion left us." Mercury said in a sarcastic tone
"We just need to hold on until Cinder gets back." Emerald told Mercury as Hazel roared
"It appears my cooperation will soon expire. It will be time for me to make my exit soon." Bedman thought to himself
"Professor Lionheart might get away. One of us needs to go after him." Jaune said before Jin spoke up
"I can catch up to him easily. Can you all handle this?" Jin asked
"We can handle this Jin, I trust you to help my team. Now trust us to handle them. This time, their outnumbered and outmatched." Jaune confidently told Jin
"I'll be back as soon as I can." Jin said as he went after Professor Lionheart.
"We got this, alright everyone Checkmate." Ruby commanded causing Weiss and Blake to attack together and go for Hazel

"Got it, come on Ren. Our training is about to pay off." Nora said before her and Ren went after Emerald and Mercury
"Last but not least, Bang, we're working together to fight the guy in the bed. It's time for Sword and Nail." Jaune told Bang
"Very well." Bang said before him and Jaune fought against Bedman
(Haven's Vault)
Ragna and Cinder spent several intense minutes fighting against each other. Behind each clash that was made between the two. Intense rage can be felt from both Ragna and Cinder. Ragna is angry at Cinder for her role in not only ruining his life. But also for setting the circumstances that allowed his family to be put in danger. Cinder's anger stems from the pain and humiliation she felt from Ragna ever since the beginning. From him discovering her actions and to the severe injuries he gave her. Though killing Nu would ensure Ragna's death. This is much more satisfying for her. Since it will prove to Ragna the superiority she has.
As the fight continued, Ragna was very aggressive in his attacks while Cinder was on the defensive. For a good deal of time, Cinder was either blocking or evading Ragna's attacks. This lasted for a few moments until Cinder narrowly avoided an attack and delivered a strong attack against Ragna. The attack was successful in knocking Ragna back, but thanks to his quick thinking. Ragna released a strong wave slash at the Fall Maiden. Realizing that she won't be able to avoid it. Cinder used her power to release a powerful fireball and blasted it at the slash wave. Once the wave and fireball clashed, a small explosion occurred and before it dissipated a weapon was thrown at Cinder. Reacting quickly, Cinder summoned two swords and was able to block the thrown scythe but she was knocked back as a result.
After Cinder was knocked back, the scythe returned to Ragna and he threw it at Cinder again while running towards her. At the sight of Ragna running towards her, Cinder created a spear and threw it at the scythe. A brief second after the weapons were thrown. Ragna's scythe and Cinder's spear clashed in the air and after a brief second. Ragna's scythe returned while Cinder's spear dissipated. Once Ragna grabbed his scythe, he transformed it into its sword form and got close to Cinder. Once he did, Cinder created a sword and clashed blades against Ragna. The clash was intense and the both of them held their ground against each other.
"You have such an impressive drive. If you had this back at Beacon, then maybe your family wouldn't have been hurt. Especially what's her name . . . . . that's right Celica." Cinder told Ragna in a mocking tone which angered Ragna further
"You . . . don't . . . . ever . . . speak her name." Ragna angrily said before Cinder's sword exploded while Ragna was close.
The explosion was strong enough to push Ragna back a moderate distance. Before he had the chance to recover. Ragna found himself defending against Cinder's aggressive attacks against him. Due to Ragna's fighting style, he was unable to avoid the attacks the way he wanted. Which is why he spent time blocking with his large sword. This lasted for a few seconds until Ragna mustered up the strength to push back Cinder with his sword and while he had the chance. Ragna released a strong slash burst as he swung his sword at Cinder. This time, Cinder didn't have the time or chance to avoid or block the attack. As a result she was give a direct hit by the attack and it knocked her back a good distance.
Deciding to change her tactics, Cinder flew into the air and proceeded to blast several fireballs at Ragna. Fortunately, he was able to defend against the fireballs by blocking them with his large sword. As Cinder was blasting fireballs in the air while flying around Ragna. He realized that as it currently stands, Ragna will be unable to hurt Cinder. If Every ranged option Ragna has will only give Cinder an attack window that she will surely make use of. While Cinder herself can only keep this attack pattern up for so long. She knows Ragna isn't stupid and is fully aware of the fact that she is pressed for time. Realizing that Cinder will not come down carelessly, Ragna decided to utilize one of his natural talents, piss people off.
"Can't say I'm surprised that your staying away from me like this Cinder. After all, you're a coward and a leech." Ragna said which irritated Cinder
"What did you say?" Cinder said as she was getting more visibly frustrated
"You heard me bitch, or do I need to repeat myself? You've done nothing but boast about how powerful you are. Yet all you did was run and hide from everyone, especially me. If your half as powerful as you think then why do you run. Unless you really are a scared little girl." Ragna stated to Cinder
"Cheap provocations, you really are an idiot Ragna. I know what you're trying to do." Cinder told Ragna
"At least I'm not a leech like you. I heard how you were able to take the original Fall Maiden's power. Which explains why your so obsessed with power. If I wasn't so pissed off at you I'd laugh at how pathetic you are." Ragna told Cinder which angered Cinder
"Who do you think your talking to like that?" Cinder angrily told Ragna
"An arrogant bitch that needs to be put down. I hate Terumi more than I hate you, but he at least walked his talk. While you on the other hand think your above it all. You can't even say you stole the power yourself. If it wasn't for your two lackeys, you would never have gotten the power in the first place. With half the power you could barely hold your ground against Jin. Then after you completed the power you stole, I gave you your injuries. Like I said, it's as sad as it's laughable. Your nothing without your lackeys, the power of the Fall Maiden, or Salem." Ragna explained angering Cinder even further causing her to radiate more energy
"HOW DARE YOU TALK DOWN ON ME LIKE THAT!" Cinder yelled before she angrily flew towards Ragna with a blade in hand. Once she got close, Cinder made a motion to attack Ragna with a sword attack. Only for him to counter with an attack of his own and deliver a strong sword attack that pushed Cinder back a good distance.
"Let me make a wild guess about certain events in your past. You had a few bad days in your life and used it as an excuse to be the power-hungry bitch that you are. What, couldn't be a member of the Crazy-Bitch Squad?" Ragna told Cinder in a mocking tone before she got even more angry
"SHUT UP!" Cinder yelled before she blasted a flamethrower at Ragna.
Acting quickly, Ragna used his large sword to block the flamethrower. This lasted for a few seconds until Cinder put more strength into the flames and Ragna was forced to be disarmed. Once Cinder stopped the flames, she smirked at the sight of Ragna being disarmed. The smirk didn't last, because Ragna quickly ran towards Cinder and proceeded to deliver several punches to her face. After delivering a third punch, Cinder gave Ragna a direct fire blast and pushed him back.
"I don't give a damn about what happened that made you like this. The moment you went after my family, you've lost any chance at mercy from me." Ragna told Cinder
"You'll pay for what you've done to me Ragna. So the feeling is more than mutual." Cinder responded before she started another flamethrower
Before Cinder could complete the attack, Ragna successfully brought back his sword and made an attack that interrupted Cinder's flamethrower. Following up on the attack, Ragna delivered another attack and this time, he was able to absorb a portion of Cinder's aura from her body. Once Cinder's aura was absorbed by Ragna, he saw several images of three females treating this individual poorly. From doing all kinds of chores to being shocked with a shock collar by the older woman. Every moment fills the individual with anger and pain. Once the images ended, Ragna's body felt a strange sensation and a brief second after feeling the sensation. Ragna reached his arm out and black flames were conjured. Causing Cinder to counter with her own flames and for a brief moment, there was a flash of flames between red flames and black flames.
"So, you've gotten my memories and copied my abilities." Cinder said as she summoned her sword
"Like I said bitch, no mercy." Ragna responded before the both of them fought against each other at an intense speed.
The two spent time fighting against each other at an intense speed. This lasted until Cinder decided to jump back and create several bow and arrows and fired them at Ragna. He quickly deflected each of the arrow. Unfortunately, this is what Cinder wanted since the arrows exploded shortly afterwards. Once the arrows exploded, Ragna stabbed his sword to the ground and maintained stable ground. Only for Cinder to extend her Grimm arm and slam Ragna to the wall. While Cinder was chocking Ragna, she used her power to burn Ragna's neck as she's chocking him. While enduring the pain, Ragna grabbed his sword and made two shots from the gun function within Bloodedge. The first shot hit Cinder, while the second shot hit the ceiling. After a brief second, a large stalactite directly hit Cinder from above.
Cinder was staggered for a brief moment and this allowed Ragna to get close with his sword in hand and proceeded to attack Cinder. Reacting quickly, Cinder created a sword and she held her ground against Ragna and the two held their ground against each other. As their blades were clashed against each other, Ragna started to slowly overpower her. After a few seconds, Ragna swung his sword upward and disarmed Cinder. Afterwards, Ragna focused his aura into his arm and quickly grabbed Cinder's face. A brief second after grabbing her face. Ragna released a stream of aura and that hurt Cinder even further. A moment later, a large explosion came from Ragna's hand and Cinder was knocked back even further closer to the edge with her aura flickering. Before she could do anything even further, Ragna stabbed Cinder in her stomach.
"Remember my face Cinder. I want you to remember this moment, so that you will know the identity of the one who killed you. Don't forget, that bastard Terumi is next." Ragna satated before he pulled out his sword and Cinder fell to the pit.
"Good riddance." Ragna said before he looked over at Vernal and checked on her. Once Ragna checked on Vernal, he saw that she was barely breathing and is quickly dying. Before Ragna could try to do anything. Vernal weakly looked at him and made a smile.
"For my family." Vernal weakly said before the life within her died out and Ragna closed her eyes out of respect.
"You can get out of the ice now Raven. Or do you still want to let someone else be your decoy." Ragna told the frozen figure before it became unthawed and Raven became freed from the ice. Once she was freed, she looked at Ragna with her eyes glowing which proves she is the Spring Maiden.
"I knew there was something special about you Ragna. It's an impressive feat to fight against a Maiden and come out on top. As for my secret, you don't look too surprised Ragna." Raven told Ragna
"Because when I heard that you had the Spring Maiden and knew about Salem. I figured that you would do what you can to keep that a secret. If you're a Maiden, you'll be a target for the rest of your life. So you'll need to keep your identity as a Maiden a secret not only to protect yourself. But also to give you ample opportunities to use the power as you please. Which required a decoy that would trust you unconditionally and without question." Ragna explained to Raven
"You've figured it out perfectly, the power of the Spring Maiden ensured that I would protect my family. Vernal knew the risks and agreed to it of her own free will. The thing you need to know about the Branwen Tribe is that we all look out for each other. Once you join our family. You will see that the tribe will protect you as our own." Raven explained to Ragna
"Then what about this plan that put all of us in danger? Including your own daughter who spent years looking for you." Ragna told Raven with a glare
"The chaos that all of you caused will grant the opportunity for me to retrieve the Relic. I had no intention of blindly following Salem as many of you are following Ozpin. Except for you, since your asking questions and staying perceptive of everything that's going on." Raven told Ragna
"Then I'm going to ask you another question Raven. How did you get the first Spring Maiden's power? Better yet, how did she die so you can get the power?" Ragna asked
"When we found her, she was scared and helpless unable to do anything. No matter what kind of training I put her through she never learned. She would be a target for the rest of her life so I granted her a mercy." Raven briefly explained to Ragna causing him to be enraged
"When I first met Weiss, I thought she was obnoxious and arrogant. But you top her by a mile you arrogant bitch. Especially when you spew that bullshit about you caring about your family." Ragna told Raven which angered her
"How dare . . . ." Raven said before Ragna interrupted her
"I'm not done! Ever since I've met you, all you've done is talk about how you'll do what it takes to protect your family. But from everything I've seen, you'll do whatever it takes to protect yourself. Vernal allowed herself to be a decoy making you're your sorry ass stayed protected. If you cared, you would never have allowed Vernal to be a decoy for you. Next let's talk about the original Spring Maiden. When it was clear that she couldn't be the ideal warrior you wanted for yourself. You took her power since it would be so much easier for you. Then last but most certainly not least, let's talk about your daughter!" Ragna yelled to Raven before she spoke with her eyes glowing
"She's my daughter, I knew she could handle it!" Raven yelled to Ragna
"THAT'S NO EXCUSE! If you really gave a damn, you would have used your semblance to get Yang away from here before we went to that trap. I would have even understood if you tried to warn Yang. But you didn't do any of that when you had the chance. When she found you after spending so many years searching, you had the gall to congratulate her. A real mother would have gotten on her hands and knees and begged their child for forgiveness for abandoning them like you did. While promising to start something new to make up for the lost time. Not congratulate them and keep the promise of a fresh start as a condition!" Ragna explained to Raven while angering her even further
"You don't know a damn thing about me! The things I had to do just to survive after facing death in the face. But your in no position to talk about how I treat my family. You act as if you have the high ground after hurting Yang. Not to mention that your carelessness placed your adopted family in danger in the first place." Raven told Ragna before he yelled
"AND I REGRET IT!" Ragna yelled before he spoke further
"Everyday since the Fall of Beacon, I regret hurting Yang the way I did. She has every reason to hate me and I don't blame her. I regret stupidly putting my family in danger and I hate the fact that I failed to protect them. I even regret putting my own brother in danger. But unlike you Raven, I don't make people get hurt in my place. As for Sister Celica, she is more of a mother than you'll ever be. No matter what I did, she would always stand by my side and see the best in me. Even when nobody else ever would. It's because of her, that I'm dedicated to protecting those who can't protect themselves. Despite the fact that I'm not the idea Huntsman. Which is why you're going to give me the Relic." Ragna told Raven before she spoke after having a realization
"You never intended to work with Ozpin. You stuck around because you wanted the Relic. So why would I help you get the Relic? Better yet, why would you even want it?" Raven asked Ragna
"You'll help me because your too scared of Salem. Like you said, being a Spring Maiden will make you a target for the rest of your life. Salem isn't stupid, she'll eventually figure out that you're a Maiden and will do whatever it takes to get you. She might even go as far as to send Terumi. I don't even need to tell you what that son of a bitch is capable of." Ragna answered causing Raven to have a look on her face that is a mix of shocked and scared
"To answer your second question, I want Salem to come after me. Because I will do everything I can to make sure she's dead. At the very least, she'll send Terumi and I want to kill him myself. I don't know whether or not I'll be able to save Nu. But the chance to kill Terumi will be worth it." Ragna boldly stated to Raven
"If you do this, everyone will hate you." Raven told Ragna warning him of the consequences
"I know, but I would rather be hated, than to see them die. So that they will move on and live better lives. If it means I'm going to suffer alone in my own hell. Then that's the choice I'm more than prepared to make." Ragna boldly told Raven causing her to have a guilty look and walk towards the vault. As Raven was going towards the vault, unknown to the both of them. Yang arrived and she listened to the whole thing barely able to hold back the tears in her eyes. After a few seconds, Raven used her powers as a Maiden to open Haven's vault and once the doors opened. The relic sat on a pedestal radiating a strange energy that Ragna was barely able to sense. Once Raven turned around to look at Ragna. There were tears in her eyes.
"Tell Yang, I'm so sorry." Raven tearfully told Ragna
"I will, but let's be honest. You don't even deserve that much." Ragna said before Raven opened a portal and left. After Raven left, Ragna made his way to the Relic. Though before he entered the vault to retrieve the Relic. Ragna heard a voice that was all to familiar to him
"Ragna." Yang said quickly getting Ragna attention. At the sight of Yang without her mechanical arm. Ragna was slightly nervous before he steeled himself for his decision
"Get away from here Yang, I don't want to hurt you. I killed Cinder and Vernal and your mother barely got away. I'm taking the Relic and getting out of here, you can't stop me from having my revenge." Ragna stated to Yang before she walked towards him
"I mean it Yang, I will attack you!" Ragna yelled as he wielded his sword. Before Yang got too close, she started to talk
"I only have one arm now, so I won't be at full strength and I don't have the strength to fight you. But before you attack me, you need to know that I heard the whole thing." Yang said which surprised Ragna
"You didn't, your mother was promised that you would be protected. But I am more than willing to hurt you if you get in the way of my revenge." Ragna said as he tightened his grip
"If everything I heard was a lie, then attack me now. I won't retaliate in any way." Yang said as she continued to walk. After a few seconds, Yang walked past Ragna as he simply muttered
"Damn it." Ragna muttered in a tired tone which Yang heard. Before she went too far, Yang started to speak
"Ragna, for what I said back at the house. I'm sorry, I was angry and hurt, but I never thought about the pain you were going through. To be worried about your family and determined to protect someone who suffered so much. Could not have been easy for you in any way. But unlike my mother Raven, you stood for something and you never put someone in harm's way just to save yourself." Yang explained to Ragna in a tired tone
"It's fine Yang, I messed up spectacularly and if I could change things I would. I still want to save Nu and I still want my revenge. But I never wanted to hurt you or my family. You're important to me and hurting you is something I never wanted to do." Ragna told Yang before she spoke further
"That friendship we had before everything went wrong. I know it's strange to say, but I really want that back." Yang said before she tearfully turned to face Ragna
"Promise me, that you will not do things alone. The next time something happens, let me help you so you will not handle things alone." Yang tearfully told Ragna
"I promise Yang." Ragna told Yang
"Before everything happened the way it did. If I was forced to choose to side with the world or side with you against the world. I would choose to stand by your side. Do you wanna know what's funny. Even while I was angry with you for what happened. There is a part of me that would still choose to stand by your side against the world. I still have the picture of you with your family to prove it. I couldn't bring myself to throw it away." Yang said as she retrieved the Relic from the sandy location from the vault. Once she has it, she started to walk towards the elevator past Ragna. Before she got closer, Ragna spoke
"Things are going to be much harder from this point forward. So if you want to cry, then do it now. I have a feeling that after this, you won't get the chance to do so." Ragna somberly told Yang before she broke down and cried at the weight of everything that happened. Both with what she's getting into and the fact that Raven is choosing herself over her daughter.
(Haven's Hallway)
It didn't feel right for Jin to have to go after the headmaster when he could help fight. But they all made it clear to him that they could handle it and that Leo Lionheart couldn't escape with everything he's done. Jin also realized that capturing Lionheart could be helpful in the long run. Since there is a chance that he could have some valuable information that could bring down Salem. Or at the very least, his capture could allow him to answer for his crimes and give needed closure to the people who are affected by his actions. As Jin was going further down the hall, he heard Professor Lionheart's voice and noticed that he was in danger within his office.
"I can still be of use to you, please." Professor Lionheart weakly said while being strangled before Salem spoke through the Seer Grimm
"Coward." Salem said before Jin kicked in the door and realized that he was too late as he saw Professor Lionheart's lifeless body on the floor. Before Jin could think further on this, he looked at the Seer Grimm and saw the image of the pale woman
"Blonde hair, cold gaze. You must be the Jin Kisaragi, the Hero of Vale. I should commend you for stopping the Grimm Breach and Subduing the Beast of Remnant." Salem told Jin
"From your demeanor, tone, and the arrogance you reek of from this Grimm. I assume you're the infamous Salem. The one who orchestrated the Fall of Beacon and is the root to many of Remnant's problems." Jin told Salem
"Cinder and Terumi have fulfilled my wishes for Beacon and achieved results I am quite pleased with. As for the problems within Remnant, you cannot blame me for everything. Humanity has been divided and corrupted long before I came into the picture. My actions has been limited to things connected to Ozpin. If it means I need to deal with those that will threaten me. Then that is simply how it needs to be. If anything you need to be more on guard regarding Ozpin." Salem explained to Jin
"What are you talking about?" Jin asked while on guard
"Ozpin has done much damage to the world as much as I have. The difference is that he's more secretive about it. By the time he learns from his mistakes, it will be too late. He even passes on and encourages the worst of his traits. Such as his arrogance, carelessness, and willingness to deceive and never learn from his mistakes to those that will follow him and the cycle of Ozpin's arrogance continues." Salem explained to Jin
"I am more than aware of Ozpin's arrogance and the traits he passes on to others. But don't think for a second that I'm going to allow him or you to hurt the world further. Your time will come Salem." Jin said before he drew his sword and froze the Seer Grimm before it shattered instantly before Jin checked on Leo and confirmed that he's dead.
"Rest in peace." Jin said in a mournful tone
(The Grand Hall)
The fight between everyone has been intensely going on for a good deal of time and everyone is exhausted. Fortunately, Ruby and her friends are in a much better position than before. Since Emerald, Mercury, and Hazel are very visibly exhausted. While Bedman looks as able to fight as before. Yet even he knows that if he has to fight everyone against him. Even he will have a hard time, since he knows full well never to underestimate his opponents.
"It's over everyone, give up and the fighting can stop." Ruby told Salem's forces causing Mercury to growl in frustration
"It's not over, once Cinder comes back. She'll have the Relic and she will stop all of you. She will not let us down." Emerald responded
"Emerald, I can see that you're fiercely loyal to Cinder. But you need to see that your loyalty is misplaced. Stop this right now before things get worse for yourself." Bang told Emerald in a compassionate tone
"You sound just like that woman back at Beacon. But just like her, your wrong about Cinder. She does care and she will see us through this." Emerald said in a slightly fanatical tone before the noise from the elevator could be heard. When everyone looked to see who would emerge. Everyone saw that it was both Ragna and Yang, while seeing that Yang is holding the Relic which is a lamp.
"They did it." Weiss said in a happy tone
"Where . . . . where is Cinder?" Emerald asked in a worried and slightly panicked tone. After hearing Emerald's question, Ragna raised his sword and showed the blood that is on it. Making the statement clear as to what happened
"I killed Cinder, you were there when I told her what would happen if she did anything to my family. Like I said, I am a man of my word." Ragna told Emerald causing her to fall to her knees and cry at the news
"Emerald, get up we have to get out of here." Mercury said as he backed away with Hazel. After a brief second, Emerald looked at Ragna with pure rage in her eyes despite the tears.
"Cinder was family and you took her away from me. I hope you've made peace with your family. Don't forget, I know who your family is and I will give you the same pain you gave me. Your sister Saya is next." Emerald angrily told Ragna
"Then I will kill you before you even get to her emerald." Ragna said before he made a motion towards Emerald before she took a dep breath
"AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHH!" Emerald yelled before she conjured up a powerful illusion that enveloped the area. The illusion was of a large pale figure and the figure screeched which distracted everyone. After the screeching stopped, the illusion ended and Emerald, Mercury, and Hazel are gone. Including Bedman, who also disappeared just as quickly.
"What was that?" Blake asked in a surprised tone
"That is a very accurate illusion, the individual that was before us is Salem." Ozpin said before Jin arrived and realized Salem's forces escaped. Ozpin took a look at Jin expecting an update
"He's dead, a small Grimm killed him." Jin told Ozpin
"Sounds like something Salem would do. As soon as he outlived his usefulness, she made sure to kill him. What he's done is unforgivable, but there was a point in time when he was a trusted friend." Ozpin said in a sad tone before Qrow went to Yang and Ragna
"You did good Ragna, thanks." Qrow told Ragna before he spoke to Yang
"What happened in there?" Qrow asked before Yang spoke.
"I'm not entirely sure, when I got to the vault I saw Ragna stab Cinder before she fell in the pit. I also saw that Vernal was lying on the ground dead." Yang told Qrow
"What about Raven?" Qrow asked
"She was gone too by the time I got there. Before Ragna fought Cinder, he saw that she left before him and Cinder fought each other." Yang told Qrow before Ragna nodded in agreement. Unknown to them, Jin listened to the conversation and he gave a suspicious glance before he noticed Weiss approaching him
"I'm glad to see that your OK, I know it's been tough for the past few weeks but at least now we can rest and spend time together. Even if it's for a short while." Weiss happily told Jin
"Thank you, but you should go and see Blake. It's been too long since your whole team has been together like this." Jin said before Weiss happily went to Blake, along with the rest of her team.
"SCRUFFY!" Tao yelled before she tackled Bang and gave him a hug
"Tao!?" Bang said as he was being hugged by Tao
"Meow, it has been so long since I've seen you. First butt pants then scruffy. Most of team BLST has been reunited meow." Tao happily said
"I . . . I'm happy to see you too Tao." Bang happily said
"Can't believe I'm saying this. But I kinda did miss this." Bullet said as she saw Ilia, Sun, and Makoto came in together
"The White Fang have been arrested, along with Sienna Khan and Adam. The police told me that once everything is settled and the Grimm activity are stabilized, they will be transferred from the large holding cells to the prisons. With the White Fang losing their leaders. They will surely fall apart from within." Ilia told Ghira, Kali, and Blake
"I am glad for that, the Faunus have been fighting among themselves for too long. But Ilia, don't forget what we talked about." Ghira told Ilia
"I know, once the round up is finished I will be in your custody until it's decided on what to do with me. As we agreed before we arrived here at Haven." Ilia said in a somber tone
"Don't worry, I will be a part of the discussion and Blake did fill me in on your circumstances." Ghira told Ilia
As everyone was talking to each other, Ragna simply looked at his sword and then he turned his attention to the palm of his hand. As he looked, he conjured a small black flame and felt some relief that Cinder has been dealt with.
"One down, one to go." Ragna muttered to himself while determined more than ever to kill Terumi
(Haven's Forest)
Hazama spent several hours watching the events at Haven unfold from a far distance. It's far enough so that he won't catch anyone's attention and close enough so that he can see everything that's going on. He is accompanied by Neo who is looking at with a bored look on her face while also anxious to deal with Ruby. Another person accompanying them is the young girl with long purple hair.
"Given that the CCT Tower is still standing and the police and Huntsman have arrived. It's safe to say that Cinder's arrogance practically gave Ozpin's crew the victory. Oh well, win some lose some." Hazama said voicing his thoughts
"I care not for the failings of Salem's lackeys. Will this interfere with your mission objective in any way? You know I barely tolerate major setbacks." Izanami asked
"Nope, if anything this ensures that everything will go even more smoothly. Which reminds me, thanks for playing your role to perfection Bedman. I know it wasn't easy for you to pull your punches. But your restraint and efforts came through in amazing ways." Hazama said as Bedman came into view
"Glad to be of help, especially if it means I didn't have to listen to that arrogant Maiden. As for the task you gave me. Everything went exactly as you predicted. Relius was right, Raven was the Spring Maiden this entire time and now the Relic is with the Ozpin's group." Bedman explained to Hazama and Izanami
"Does this mean anything in the grand scheme of things Terumi?" Izanami asked
"At this point, I see Ragna being the bigger threat than Ozpin. Regardless, this means that we have all the pieces we need to succeed. All that we need to do now is set them up the way we need to. We're going to be busy for a few hours but the end result will be worth it. Except you Bedman, you did your part perfectly and you earned your rest. But you will be needed again so expect to be contacted soon." Hazama happily told Izanami and Bedman before Neo changed into Ruby with an angry look on her face after Bedman left
"You'll get what you want soon Neo. In fact, you'll be busy tonight too, but I will give you proof that I'm a man of my word." Hazama told Neo
"What will you be doing first Terumi?" Izanami asked
"First, we need our soldiers back on the field. Salem and Cinder were prepared to toss them aside but I see a more chaotic and effective use for them. Which means we need to bust them out. The cruel police have them locked up like wild untamed animals. So they need to be freed and properly brought into the fold." Hazama explained to Izanami
"Will you require Phantom for the aide of the White Fang?" Izanami asked
"Phantom will be needed for tonight to help speed things along. Though for the breakout, what better help is there than the Mad Dog." Hazama said before he used his Scroll to make a call
"Azrael, I know your not too far from Mistral. I have something that I need your help with. If you help, you can kill a few Huntsmen and police." Hazama told Azrael over the Scroll
"Fine, I needed some action and I was getting bored of the Grimm." Azrael responded
"Excellent, you'll be taken to the desired destination in a few minutes and I will give you the details." Hazama said before he hung up
"Now let's get to work." Hazama said with a smirk

For Baiken vs Sienna Khan
Baiken is a very skilled swordswoman, the initial problem is that Sienna Khan's semblance which is called Grudge gives her the advantage in a fight that lasted a long time. Also Sienna Khan's semblance has been confirmed in RWBY Amity Arena. With Baiken's semblance, she was able to figure out what Sienna's semblance is and once she did. The fight became much easier. Since Sienna's fighting style is more agile and offensive at the cost of defense.
Ragna was never going to be a part of the Branwen Tribe. The moment that he saw that Raven would abandon her daughter and did nothing to help Yang, knowing about the trap they were getting into. Showed Ragna that Raven is a terrible mother. Which also affirms that blood is not needed for someone to be a parent.
A good example of this is Aaron from The Miles Morales Spider-man game. Even though Aaron was willing to trap Miles in a secluded location, knowing that it would put a lot of people in danger. He did it to help his nephew. I commend Miles for being determined to help people and even though Aaron was very misguided, I could see that he did love Miles despite being a criminal.
I really wanted to end the finale of Volume 5 in two parts. Unfortunately, because of the content and the pace of the story. I decided for the finale to be 3 parts. Jumping ahead for a bit, the next chapter will be the finale and a MAJOR MOMENT will occur that I am excited about. The finale will conclude volume 5 and it has a lot of significance.
