The Fire Type Sting
The Sea
In the sea a cargo ship was sailing under the night sky, when beeping devices suddenly came, from over the side. Soon the devices started to explode. "We're under attack!" A crewmember said to the rest of the crew. But it was too late. Soon water benders took the ship and threw the crew into a lifeboat. "Varrick is not gonna be happy about this." the captain of the ship said to his crew.
The Southern Spirit Portal
At the South Pole Unalaq had a large encampment around it, and standing in front of the portal was Eska and Desna. "Where is he?" Eska asked Desna. "Father said he would meet us at this location. He'll be here." Desna said to Eska as Unalaq walked out of the Spirit Portal. "Were you just in the spirit world?" Desna asked Unalaq. "Never mind that. Where is the Avatar, and the Water Trainer?" Unalaq asked Eska and Desna. "They were within our grasp. Until a dark spirit attacked them." Eska said to Unalaq.
"They're out of control." Desna said to Unalaq. "You didn't get them?" Unalaq asked Eska and Desna. "The two of them are dead." Eska said to Unalaq. Making Unalaq growl a little.
The Republic City Arena
Back in Republic City. A large crowd was watching a movie with Bolin in his Nuktuk costume, walking through the snow, followed by Naga, who had black hair dyed over her eyes, on her ears, and her legs. With Pabu colors red color was dyed to black, and his white color, minus his face, was dyed grey, riding on Naga's back. Leading the group was Grapploct, who was in a costume that made him look like he was a living water with four of his tentacles looking like waves.
Soon Grapploct led the group of a building with a large skull on it. "We are here." Grapploct voice actor said to Bolin pointing one of his tentacles at a building "We finally made it. And we wouldn't be able to do it without your help, noble water spirit." Bolin said to Grapploct. "Now we must stop the Evil Unalaq!" Bolin said to the group, as the crowd watching the movie cheared.
The next scene in the movie turned into a man that was Unalaq in the movie, with two guards near him. "The Southern Water Tribe is mine. All with the help of the Dark Spirits." Actor Unalaq said as Dragapult came down, wearing a costume that made him look like a Dark Spirit, and the holes in his fins had long spikes in them, and the two Dreepy that lived in his horn where in now in black orb costumes, with wicked smiles on the front of the orbs.
"Now with these Dark Spirits help, I will conquer the world and with my waterbending doomsday device! No one can stop me." Actor Unalaq said, making the crowd boo and throwing food at the movie screen. "Don't worry, Juji and Roh-Tan, I will end the evil unalaq's reign of terror. For I am Nunktuk, Hero of the south!" Bolin said to Pabu and Naga, as the crowd cheered.
"Nuktuk, you're not just the Hero of the South, you're our best friend." Pabu's voice actor said to Bolin. "Nuktuk-ity!" Naga's voice actor said to Bolin. "You two are the best snow racoon and arctic panda a guy could ask for." Bolin said to Naga and Pabu, hugging them. "Aww." The crowd said.
"Who's gonna fight for friends and freedom? Nuktuk." A narrator sang as Bolin rode Naga with Ginger behind Bolin and holding onto him, Pabue on the very back of the saddle and Grapploct leading them. "He's the biggest, baddest, bendingest man I know." A narrator sang as Bolin "waterbend" some water into some "Northern troops". "Who protects the icy tundra? Nuktuk." A narrator sang as Bolin high fived the group, with Pabu and Naga's hands being paper mache. "Battling Northies out there in the show." A narrator sang as Bolin "waterbend" a waterfall onto a "Northern troop".
"When Unalaq starts trouble." A narrator sang as actor Unalaq and Dragapult appeared on the screen. "He'll punch him in the mouth." A narrator sang as Bolin "punched" Unalaq's actor, and as Grapploct used Brock Break to make his custom glow, and "Hit" Dragapult. The "hit" and "punch" made actor Unalaq and Dragapult fall to the ground. "He's Nuktuk, the Hero of the South." A narrator sang as the sense turned to the Bolin, Grapploct, Naga striking a pose, while Pabu was being silly.
Meanwhile in a private box, Bolin, Lucas, Varrick, and Ginger, were watching the movie, with the man wearing their fancy suits, and Ginger in a fancy dress. "Bolin, look up there. What do you see?" Varrick asked Bolin. "I… Is this a trick question?" Bolin asked Varrick. "I'll tell you what I see-. A star being born. You're a star. People love stars. Stars tell them what to think and how to act. Bolin, have you ever tried to force a money-marmot to ride a bicycle?" Varrick asked Bolin.
"Uh… not that I can recall." Bolin said to Varrick. "Of course you haven't. You can force monkey-marmots to do anything. They've got to want to do it themselves." Varrick said to Bolin. "Right." Bolin said to Varrick. "With these movies, we'll have the support of the people, and before long, they'll persuade the president to lend his troops to the war effort." Varrick said to Bolin. "I doubt that." Lucas said to Varrick. "Come on Lucas. This is great." Varrick said to Lucas. "How is that going to convince the president." Lucas said to Varrick as he pointed to the movie screen.
On the screen Ginger in her custom, was tied up behind force to actor Unalaq but some guards. Actor Unalaq was on a throne laughing sinister, with Dragapult, and his Dreepy's floating above him in their costumes. "My evil plan is working. I've captured Nutuk's beautiful girlfriend." Actor Unalaq said as he got off the throne and placed a hand on Ginger's chin. "Unalaq we have company." Dragapult voice actor said to actor Unalaq, as Bolin came bursting into the room, riding Naga, with Pabu on Naga's head.
"Not so fast, Evil Unalaq! Oh, I will save my true love and the south!" Bolin said as he "jumped" into the air, then Grapploct came out from behind Naga. soon Bolin "landed" onto the ground and was back to back with Grapploct, as guards surrounded them. "Let's do this together my friend." Bolin said to Grapploct, as he "waterbend" a current of water at two of the guards. "Yes my friend." Grapploct voice actor said as he used Brick Break, making his costume glow, and sended the remeing of the guard flying.
"And now, your time is up." Bolin said to actor Unalaq. Actor Unalaq then waved his hand making more guards charged at Bolin and Grapploct. But Bolin and Grapploct were able to keep them back. But then Dragapult used Dragon Rush and flew around Bolin and Grapploct, trapping them. Then some of the guards throw a net, catching Bolin, Grapploct, Pabu, and Naga.
"It's no use fighting, Nuktuk. My anti-energy net makes bending impossible." Actor Unalaq said to Bolin. "And soon you will join us traitor." Dragapult voice actor said to Grapploct. "No! Please. Power… Weakening." Bolin said before he "passed out". "I'll never… join… you." Grapploct voice actor said to Dragapult. "Nuk-terrible." Naga's voice actor said. "Will this be the end of Nuktuk? Can he escape from Unalaq's trap and save the beautiful Ginger? Find out next week on the Adventures of Nuktuk: Hero of the South." A narrator as the move ended, with the crowd cheering.
"I don't see what's the problem?" Varrick said to Lucas. "That movie is. What's the word I'm looking for?" Lucas said to Varrick before rubbing his chin. "Brilliant." Varrick said to Lucas. "Definitely not that word." Lucas said to Varrick. "Ah what do you know. Bolin what do you think?" Varrick said to Lucas and asked Bolin.
"Wow. We got some major chemistry on-screen. Am I right?" Bolin asked Ginger, ignoring Lucas and Varrick. "Yeah. On-screen." Ginger said to Bolin. "But we could have great chemistry off-screen Lucas." Ginger said to Lucas placing a hand on Lucas' cheat. "No, and get your hand off me." Lucas said to Ginger, before he stood up. "Ah come on don't be like that." Ginger said to Lucas, as left.
"What's wrong with me? Are you mad because I left you in the clutches of the evil Unalaq? I'm gonna save you in the next episode." Bolin said to Ginger as Ginger stood up. "Ginger, let's work through this." Bolin said to Ginger, as she left. "What does Lucas have that I don't?" Bolin asked himself before slouching in his chair. Then Zhu-Li entered the box.
"Varrick, another one of your ships has been captured." Zhu-Li said to Varrick. "Darn it, Zhu-Li, Haven't I told you I hate getting bad news without first getting good news?" Varrick said to Zhu-Li. "Oh, well, the good news is it looks like your first movie has gotten a great reception." Zhu-Li said toVarrick. "That's old news! Let's go." Varrick said to Zhu-Li, as the two of them left. Leaving Bolin.
Republic City Police HQ
At the Police HQ Mako and Zoey were in a waiting room, with a one way mirror in front of them. On the other side of the room was Lin, the two lazy detectives that were giving Mako and Zoey a hard time, and the captain of the ship that was attacked earlier in the night.
And Mako was looking at a photo of him and Korra from the festival. Then Zoey pulled the photo out of Mako's hands, and started to crumple it. "You didn't have to do that." Mako said to Zoey. "No I had to." Zoey said to Mako, as the door opened and Asami walked into the room.
"I'm so sorry. Your entire shipment was stolen." Mako said to Asami, as Zoey threw the photo to the corner of the room. "Without that sale,I don't know how much longer I can keep my company going. What am I gonna do?" Asami said to Mako. "Don't worry. We're gonna find whoever's responsible." Mako said to Asami. "Then we can hurt them." Zoey said to Asami, lighting a fire in her right hand. "Zoey are you okay?" Asmai asked Zoey. "I'm fine." Zoey said snuffing out her fire. "Well, Chief Beifong is about to question the Captain of the ship." Mako said to everyone as he turned on a speaker.
"I know it's been a long day, walked me through what happened." Lin asked the Captain. "We were ambushed about 30 klicks outside the harbor. We never heard them coming." The Captain said to Lin. "This is the third attack this week. At about the same location." Lin said to everyone. "Yep, and smack-dab in Republic city's jurisdiction, which means another problem for us. All this stress is gonna turn old blackbeauty gray." One of the detectives said as he stroked his long mustache.
"It's gotta be Northern Water tribe. They're trying to stop supply lines to the South." The other detective said to Lin. "I agree. Is there anything else about the attack you remember? Anything unusual?" Lin said to the detective and asked the Captain. "There is one thing. The bombs exploded in a way I've never seen before. They didn't have fuses. It was like they were being detonated remotely." The Captain said getting Mako and Zoey's attention.
"Like the Bombs at the cultural center." Mako said to everyone, before he started to leave the room. "Wait, where are you going?" Asami asked Mako. "I gotta grab some evidence." Mako said to Asami, as he left and Varrick walked in. "Asami, I heard the news. I can't believe they took my fifth favorite ship in the Varrick Industries Fleet! Named her after my mom. Rest in peace, Rocky Bottom." Varrick said to Asami, annoying Zoey.
"Without the money from that shipment, Future industries is almost broke." Asami said to Varrick. "And it looks like The Chief is going to break Mako." Zoey said as everyone turned to see Mako enter the room where Lin was. "Chief, I think there's a link between this attack and the attack at the cultural center. " Mako said to Lin. "What do you think you're doing?" Lin asked Mako.
"Solving this case." Mako said to Lin, as he placed a box in front of the Captain. "Did any of the people who attacked you. Have one of these in their hand?" Mako asked the Captain, as the Captain, looked at the box, which had the picture of the guy they saw that night and the detonator. "Zoey says it's a remote detonator." Mako said to the captain. "It was too dark to see anything." The Captain said to Mako. "Mako!" Lin said to Mako. "I better go save him." Zoey said to Asami and Varrick as she left the room she was in.
"Chief. Me and Zoey don't think the people who attacked were Northern Water Tribe." Mako said to Lin. "Of course they were Northern Water Tribe. They were waterbending." The second detective said to Mako. Then Zoey walked into the room. "Just saying that their Northern Water Tribe, because they can waterbend is lazy detective work." Zoey said to the second detective.
"Was this one of the guys who attacked?" Mako asked the Captain, showing him the head shoot of the guy they saw. "No, I don't recognize him." The Captain said to Mako and Zoey. "Oh, that's embarrassing." The second detective said to Mako and Zoey. "Nice try, Rookies." The first detective said to Mako and Zoey, before laughing a little. Zoey then jumped onto the table, and bent down. "And have you two done? Eat donuts all day and do nothing." Zoey said to the detectives.
"Zoey, get down. And I want you and Mako to leave. Now!" Lin said to Zoey and Mako, as Asami and Varrick walked into the room. "Great work, everybody. Another Open and shut case for the dynamic mustachioed duo! And Zoey, such drama. You should be in one of my movies." Varrick said to everyone.
"Wait, I think Mako and Zoey might be onto something." Asami said to Lin. "Chief, I know it's a long shot, but I have an idea now we can catch these guys." Mako said to Lin. "Yeah, let's all listen to the rookie." The first detective said to everyone. "He's doing a better job than you." Asami said to the first detective. "That's not saying much. These two do less than a Snorlax." Zoey said to Asami. "Who's hungry?" Varrick asked everyone. "Enough!" Lin said, making everyone quiet.
"I don't want to heat your lame-brained rookie ideas. You and Zoey are beat cops, not detectives. Now hit the street and do your job!" Lin said to Mako, making the detectives laugh at them.
A few minutes later everyone was outside, minus Varrick. "Lu and Gang are idiots. I hate them and their stupid mustaches." Mako said to everyone. "Agree. We should go back in there and either rip them off or burn them off." Zoey said to Mako. "Forget them. What's this idea of yours Mako?" Asami said to them and asked Mako. "A sting operation. I was thinking we'd set up a bait ship, take it out into the open ocean, and capture whoever attacks it." Mako said to Asami. "Let's do it." Asami said to Mako.
"It's not that easy. For the plan to work, we need the police, and Beifong already said no." Mako said to Asami. "And thanks to Korra we can't ask the military to help." Zoey said to Asami. "We can make it work, just the two of three." Asami said to Mako and Zoey. "I don't know. I don't want to go behind Beifong's back." Mako said to Asami. "Mako, I need your help. My mom is gone. My dad is in jail. Future industries is all I have left of my family." Asami said to Mako.
"Well I don't know about Mako, but count me in at least." Zoey said to Asami. "Zoey, are you sure this is a good idea?" Mako asked Zoey. "It's not. But Those two fools will never let us be anything more than beat cops. And I'm not going to waste my time and do nothing, because they're lazy detectives. What about you Mako?" Zoey asked Mako. "I want to help you both, but this is more than a three-person job. Even with the Pokemon, this mission is too big. First of all, we'd need a ship." Mako said to everyone.
Then everyone noticed Varrick, way too close to them. "Aah!" Everyone said as he jumped back a few feet. "You need a ship I got a ship. I want in on whatever you're talking about. I love being in on plans." Varrick said to everyone. "The less you know the better." Asami said to Varrick. "Perfect! I love not knowing things." Varrick said to Asami. "All right, I'm in. Let's get these guys." Mako said to everyone. "Good now let's head to the dock." Zoey said to everyone, as they started to move.
Republic City Docks
Later that day Asami, Mako and Zoey were watching some weaponless Mecha-Tanks load up some empty craits onto one of Varricks ships. "You know I like them more when Mecha-tanks are used like this." Zoey said to everyone. "The ship's all loaded with the dummy crates. Let's get this sting operation going." Asami said to everyone.
"Not yet. We need some extra manpower." Mako said to Asami. "What about Korra? No better muscle than the Avatar." Asami said to Mako. "NO!" Zoey yelled at Asami with an angry voice, stomping her foot. "Whoa Zoey calm down. What wrong?" Asami asked Zoey. "Ah Korra she's um- out of town right now." Mako said to Asami. "Everything okay?" Asami asked them. "Yeah, yeah." Mako said to Asami.
"Quit lying Mako. The truth is we had a big fight with Korra, and she disappeared, we got no idea where she is." Zoey said to Asami. "What? Why aren't you guys looking for her?" Asami asked Zoey and mako. "Simple. I don't care. Korra didn't care about us. So why should we care about her." Zoey said before storming off. Mako and Asami then sniffed the air and noticed the smell of smoke. They looked down and noticed that there were burns in the shape of a foot coming from Zoey and leaving a trail.
"What's wrong with her?" Asami asked Mako. "I don't know. Ever since that fight we had with Korra, she has been getting mad easily." Mako said to Asami. "That doesn't sound like Zoey." Asami said to Mako. "Yeah. I'm gonna go talk to Bolin." Mako said to Asami, before leaving. "I guess I'll go talk to Lucas." Asami said as she left.
Republic City Streets
Mako then made his way to his and Bolin's apartment. When Mako got there. He saw his brother in a hot tub that took up most of the living room with Pabu relaxing next to Bolin. "Hey, Mako, what do you think? I did a little redecorating. It turns out that one of the perks of being a star. You get lots of cash." Bolin said to Mako. "Is this a marble statue of you." Mako asked Bolin, as he noticed a statue by the door.
"It's also a hat rack." Bolin said to Mako. "We don't even have hats." Mako said to Bolin. "That's because we've never had a hat rack. And now we do. Mako, you seem stressed. I think you need to take a little dipity dip." Bolin said to Mako, splashing the water a little bit. "I don't have time to take a dipity dip, okay? I'm trying to catch whoever's been attacking the shipments, and I need your help." Mako said to Bolin.
"You need my help? I don't know I'm kinda busy." Bolin said to Mako. "You're sitting in a hot tub." Mako said to Bolin. "I'm maintaining my instruments. As an actor, my body is my instrument." Bolin said to Mako. "Are you gonna help or not?" Mako asked Bolin.
"You know I recall a time when I needed your help, and you basically told me to get a life." Bolin said to Mako, as he got up. "So that's a no. What am I supposed to do now?" Mako said to Bolin. "I don't know, Mako. Figure it out. Remember? That's what you said to me. Hurts, doesn't it?" Bolin said to Mako.
Mako then started to leave the room, while Bolin sat down in the hot tub. On the way out Mako threw a ball of fire into the oven that was heating the hot tub. This made the hot tub boil with Bolin still in it, making Bolin scream. "Ow! My instrument!" Bolin said as he got out of the water.
Republic City Air Temple Island
Meanwhile Asami followed Zoey's burn trail and made it to Air Temple Island, where she lost Zoey's trail. The first place she went was Lucas' room, hoping he would know where she is. "Lucas are you in there?" Asami asked, knocking on Lucas' door. "Yeah. it's unlocked. Come in." Lucas said to Asami. Asami then entered the room and noticed Lucas rubbing his right foot, which had blisters on it. "Lucas are you okay?" Asami asked Lucas. "I'm fine just got back from another city walk." Lucas said to Asami.
"Another?" Asami asked Lucas. "Ever since Korra ran off I've been looking for her all over town." Lucas said to Asami. "Why don't you ask Dakota and Zoey to help?" Asami asked Lucas. "In Dakota's case, he and Decidueye are missing, and his other Pokemon are currently asleep after looking all day. And everytime I try to ask Zoey to help. I have to dodge fireballs. So I have to walk barefoot through the town to try and find them." Lucas said to Asami.
"Speaking of Zoey do you know where she is?" Asami asked Lucas. "Give me a second." Lucas said to Asami. Lucas then closed his eyes, and slammed his foot into the ground. "Zoey is on the beach on the west side of the island, punching a rock. So don't sneak up on her." Lucas said to Asami as he got up. "Thanks Lucas." Asami said to Lucas. "No problem. Now excuse me I have to get back to looking." Lucas said to Asami, before he started to leave.
"Actually Lucas I was hoping you would-" Asami said as Lucas went out the door, and closed it behind him. "-help me." Asami said looking at the floor and noticing a few blood stains on the ground. "What's going on with everyone?" Asami asked herself, before leaving to go find Zoey.
A few minutes later Asami found Zoey on the west beach of the island. And like Lucas said she was punching a rock, and the rock as cover in burn marks. "Zoey are you okay?" Asami asked Zoey. "I'm fine." Zoey said to Asami, as she stopped punching the rock. "Are you sure?" Asami asked Zoey. "Yeah, why'd you ask?" Zoey asked Asami. "Well you're punching a rock and leaving burn marks. Maybe you should take a break." Asami said to Zoey. "I'm fine." Zoey said to Asami, before going back to punching the rock.
"You know if you want to talk about Korra I'm all ears." Asami said to Zoey. "I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT KORRA!" Zoey yelled as she slashed the rock, leaving a burn mark in the shape of four long lines and turning to Asami. "Zoey?!" Asami said to Zoey, talking a few steps back. Zoey then just sighed. "Let's go find Mako, before he try anything he knows is stupid." Zoey said before she left. Before Asami followed Zoey, she touched the rock and noticed that the four line burn marks Zoey made had a dent into them. "What the?" Asami said to herself, before she went after Zoey.
Republic City Streets
Then after the sun had set for the day, Asami and Zoey met up with Makoo. "So how'd it go with Bolin?" Asami asked Mako. "He's not coming. What about Lucas?" Mako said to Asami. "I tried to ask him. But he left before I could ask him." Asami said to Mako. "So just to recap. It's just us and my six Pokemon against who knows what. This is going to end badly." Zoey said to everyone. "She's right. We need more help." Asami said to Mako. "And I think I know where to get it." Mako said to everyone, as he started to walk.
After walking for a little bit they made it into front of a building on the low end of the city. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Asami asked Mako. "No, but it's our last resort." Mako said to Asami. "Don't you mean our only resort." Zoey said to Mako, as Mako knocked on the door.
Then a man looked out the door. "Hey, Mako. whatever you think we did, we didn't do it." The man said to Mako. "You know that doesn't help you right?" Zoey asked the man. "What do you want?" The man asked them. "I'm not here on police business. I'm running an off-the-books operation, and I thought the Triple Threats might want a piece of the action." Mako said to the man. "How big a piece?" the man asked Mako.
Soon Mako, Zoey, and Asami were in an office where they met with the guy with the hat that Korra and Lucas met on their first day in the city. "So Mr. and Miss. Law and Order needs our help, huh? What's in it for the Triple Threats?" The man with the hat asked Mako and Zoey. "I am personal friends with the Avatar. I might be able to convince her to give Shady Shin his bending back." Mako said to the guy with the hat, earning a kick from Zoey. "Sounds good to me, boss." Shady Shin said to the guy with the hat, not noticing Zoey's kick.
"What about the rest of us?" The guy with the hat asked the group. "I've got vehicles, all brand-new and top of the line. They can be yours if you help." Asami said to the man with the hat. "I think we got ourselves a deal." The man with the hat said to everyone. Soon everyone left and made it to the docks where the boat was waiting.
The Sea
After everyone was on board the ship left, and everyone was waiting for the inevitable battle, with all of Zoey's Pokemon out. "This is right around the area where the attacks happened. So keep eyes peeled, and stay quiet." Mako said to one of the gangsters. "I agree. Keep quiet, mouth zipped, don't say a word. That's the best thing to do when you're trying to ambush somebody, which is what we're doing here, I mean, I am a gangster, after all, and-" The gangster said to Mako, but was interrupted by Mako.
"Two Toed Ping, Please." Mako said to the man. "Oh, right. So what's it like dating the Avatar? And being the Avatar's sister." Ping asked Mako and Zoey. Zoey then growled and grabbed Ping. "Ping get out of my sight or I'll throw you overboard." Zoey said to Ping. "Don't be like that. I gotta know, baby." Ping said to Zoey. "That's it I'm throwing him overboard." Zoey said as she grabbed Ping's legs and was about to throw him overboard.
"Zoey, Ping, stay focused! And Zoey put him down." Mako said to Ping and Zooey. "But he's annoying." Zoey said to Mako. "Oh come on? Why are you so weird about it? If I was dating the Avatar, and she was my sister. I'd tell you all about it." Ping said too Mako and Zoey. "Please let me throw him overboard." Zoey said to Mako. "No. There's nothing to know. I broke up with her. And Zoey told her to get lost." Mako said to Ping.
"You broke up? And you told Korra to get lost?" Asami asked Mako and Zoey. "Actually I told her to leave before we were forced to arrest her." Zoey said to Asami, putting Ping down. "When did this happen and why didn't you two tell me?" Asami asked Mako and Zoey. "I did. I told you we had a fight." Zoey said to Asami. "But why didn't you tell me it was that bad?" Asami asked them.
"I don't know." Mako said to Asami. "Yeah, Right. You broke up with the Avatar. Like that happened." Ping said to Mako. "Hey, Shady Shin, Viper. Mako says he broke up with the Avatar." Ping said to Shin and Viper, wh where a few metter away. "Sure he did." Shin said to Ping. "Yeah, I did too." Viper said to Ping. laughing and clearly thinking that Ping was joking. "Can I throw him overboard now?" Zoey asked Mako. "All right, would you guys knock it off and do your job?" Mako said to everyone, as they all stopped laughing and got back to work.
Republic City Streets
Back in the city. Bolin was filming the next part of his movie, with Ginger being held down by Orbeetle. With Orbeetle wearing a dark spirit custom that made him look like a jellyfish, and "using'' four of his costume tentacles to hold Ginger down. Then a giant fake drill came down, and got under Orbeetle. Bolin was standing on the edge of the screen with Grapploct in his custom next to him. And Lucas behind the background. "And action!" the director said to Bolin.
"Forget about me. You must capture the evil Unalaq before he gets away." Ginger said to Bolin, as Orbeetle moved the drill closer to Ginger with one of his costume's tentacles. "No! I'll never leave you." Bolin said to Ginger. Then Grapploct moved like he was saying something, but he wasn't. Then Grapploct jumped up and used Brick Break, and knocked Orbeetle back. But since Orbeetle was a Bug, Psychic type it didn't do too much damage. But Orbeetle still had to act like it did a lot of damage. Then, still hiding behind the background, Lucas returned Orbeetle. "Ginger, you're safe." Bolin said to Ginger, before he kissed her, surprising Ginger.
"Cut." Varrick said, making everyone stop. "There's no kiss in the script." Varrick said as everything moved back to how it was a few minutes ago. "Bolin how many times are we going to have to do this scene? I have more important things to do." Lucas said to Blin, as he let Orbeetle out of his Pokeball. "Orbeetle." Orbeetle said as he used Psychic to hit the back of Bolin's head.
"Sorry, I just kinda lost myself in the moment. It just felt so right." Bolin said to Lucas, making Ginger sit up in discuse. "It did, huh? Grapploct may have sent Orbeetle flying, but the drill was still moving towards her. Meaning your girlfriend's about to die, and instead of stopping the drill, you kiss her." Varrick said to Bolin.
"Bolin you're wasting my time. Can you please follow the script." Lucas said to Boolin. "Wait a minute. Maybe that will work. Yes! It's genius! Everyone takes five. Except for you Zhu-Li. Grabs the tweezers. I've got some neck-hair issues to resolve." Varrick said to everyone, making Lucas slap his face with his hand.
Bolin then moved towards Ginger. "So… that kiss. I liked it. And it seemed like you liked it too." Bolin said to Ginger. Ginger just sighs, in discussion. "You're confusing Ginger the actress with Ginger the character." Ginger said before she started to leave. "Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm tally getting, like, a weird vibe from you right now. It's like, a minute ago, when we were shooting, you were into me, but now you're not." Bolin said to Ginger, making Ginger stop and turn to him.
"That's because Ginger lves Nuktuk, Not Bolin." Ginger said to Bolin, as she turned away from Bolin and started to move. "But Nutuk IS Bolin I'm a hero." Bolin said to Ginger, as Ginger left him. Bolin then sighed. "Bolin, you need to get your head on straight." Lucas said to Bolin. "What are you talking about?" Bolin asked Lucas. "Once again you got hit by an Attract. But this time it's not from a Scolipede like Eska. it's from a Liepard that will gladly rip your face off." Lucas said to Bolin.
"Ginger's not like that." Bolin said to Lucas. "How would you know that? You barely know her." Lucas said to Bolin. "And what? You do?" Bolin asked Lucas. "Yes I do. Back in Galar I had a lot of girls like Ginger knocking on my door..." Lucas said to Bolin, but was interrupted by Bolin. "Then why are you telling me she's bad. You lived the dream. You had a lot of pretty girls like Ginger. That must have been awesome." Bolin said to Lucas.
"Except every single one of them. Like Ginger. Was only interested in my title and my popularity. They never once care about me. They just want me to be their trophy boyfriend. And that's what Ginger wants. A boyfriend that will make her look good. She doesn't care who." Lucas said to Bolin. "That's crazy Lucas. I can tell that there's a spark between me and Ginger." Bolin said to Lucas.
Lucas then slapped his hand into his face again. "You know what. I had hoped you would have learned your lesson about blindly jumping into a relationship with a stranger, after what happened with Eska. But it seems you haven't." Lucas said to Bolin. "Now, if you excuse me, I have more important things to do then, make this joke of a movie with you." Lucas said to Bolin, as he took off his shoes.
"Goodbye, and if you need me I'll be walking in the city. Orbeetle, Grapploct return." Lucas said to Bolin, as he returned his Pokemon to their Pokeballs, his shoes in his hand, and left, leaving behind another trail of blood. Not that either of them noticed it.
The Sea
Back on the ship, Asami, Mako, and Zoey were looking at Ping's feet, which had an extra toe on each foot. "And that's why they call me Two Toed Ping." Ping said to everyone. "Because you have two extra toes." Asami said to Ping. "That's right. And there was already a Twelve Toed Ping on the south side." Ping said to Asami. "Mako for the fiftieth time. Can I please throw him overboard?" Zoey asked Mako.
"Wait, guys. Do you hear that?" Mako asked everyone. "I didn't hear anything." Asami said to Mako. "No." Ping said to Mako. "Ah! What's taking so long?" Mako said to everyone. "You just gotta relax, like me. Maybe try taking your shoes off." Ping said to Mako. "No something wrong. We should have been attacked by now." Zoey said to everyone. "I'm gonna check it out." Mako said to everyone, as he started to leave them.
While Mako was walking he heard Shin and his boss talking. "So how long do we have to stay out here?" Shin asked the boss. "I told you, it's gonna be a few hours. What do you have a hot date?" The boss asked Shin. "Actually, I do. And I wanna look my best. I gotta shower and save. I have a whole routine, okay?" Shin said to the boss. "Well, your date's gonna have to wait." The boss said to Shin.
"She's not gonna be happy about that." Shin said to the boss. "Too bad. We were paid to keep Mako and the dames distracted for a few hours, so that's what we're gonna do." The boss said to Shin. "See, This is why I never get dates." Shin said to the boss.
This surprised Mako. Mako went as fast as he could, while being as quiet as possible to Asami and Zoey. Then when Mako got in sight of the girls, he signaled them. While Ping was picking his toe neals, the girl moved to Mako. "What is it?" Zoey asked Mako, questly. "I just overheard Shady Shin and Viper. We've been double-crossed. We have to get off this ship." Mako said to everyone. "Let's find my Pokemon first." Zoey said, as they started to move.
As they did they ran into the gangsters. "Where do you think you're going?" The boss asked Zoey, Mako, and Asami. "Throw you Viper." Zoey said as she and Mako fired a wave of fire at them, forcing them back. "Go, I gotta find my Pokemon." Zoey said to Mako and Asami, helping them into a speed boat.
"Get 'em!" Viper said to his men. "Zoey watch out." Asami said to Zoey. "Just go." Zoey said as she did a fire spin kick, knocking back the gangsters and cutting the ropes to the speed boat. Asami then took the wheel of the speed boat and took off.
"You really think you can handle us?" Viper asked Zoey. "I don't have to handle you. I just have to avoid you." Zoey said to Viper. As she went over the side and used her firebending to get herself onto the next level. "After her. I want those beasts for myself." Viber said to his man as he gave chase.
"Where are they?" Zoey said as she ran through the ship. Then on the front of the ship she found all her Pokemon in nets, trying to get out of them. "Sorry deme. But your pets are mine now." Viper said to Zoey as he and his men surrounded Zoey. "They will never obey you." Zoey said to Viper. "Well see about that. Get her." Viper said to Zoey and his men. Zoey said nothing, she just growled.
Then, as one of the gangsters was about to strike Zoey. She dodged him, and her hands burst into flames, in the shape of claws. Zoey then slashed across the chest of the gangster that was attacking her. "AAAAAH!" The gangster yelled as he fell backwards, revealing to the other gangsters a burn claw mark that went deep into the gangsters skin. With the flame claws still burning, the gangsters back up a few feet. "I've had it with this sting. I've had it this war. And I've HAD IT WITH ALL OF YOU." Zoey said as she lunged forward.
Soon Zoey started to slash throw the gangsters, like a wild beast. And while the gangsters tried to fight back with punches and bending. Zoey dodged all of their attacks and landed some good hits on the gangsters, defecting all but Viper, who was on his butt trying to crawl away from Zoey, who was slowly walking towards him. "Now deme, I'm sure we can work something out." Viber said to Zoey.
Zoey then grabbed Viber's jacket with her hands still on fire, setting Vipers jacket on fire. "Tell me who paid you to distract us and why?" Zoey asked Viper. "I don't know. It was just some guy in a hood. He said all we had to do was keep you distracted for a few hours." Viper said to Zoey, getting scared since he was on fire. "Distracted for what?" Zoey asked Viper. "I don't know. He just said keep them on the boat I swear." Viper said to Zoey. "Then you're useless." Zoey said before she slashed viper's right eye with her flame claw. "AAAAAH!" Viper said as he covered his right eye.
Then Zoey let him go, allowing Viper to roll around on the deck, in pain and to put out the fire. Zoey then moved to her Pokemon. And the gangsters that could still move backed away in fear. Then with her flame claws Zoey easily cut through the net and freed her Pokemon.
Then her flame claws disappeared. "All of you return." Zoey said as she returned everyone but Golurk. "Come on Golurk, let's go find the others." Zoey said as she hopped onto Golurk's back. "Golurk." Golurk said as they left. Leaving the gangsters to treat their burns.
A few minutes later Zoey made it to the speed boat Asami, and Mako was in. Zoey then jumped off Golurk and landed in the back of the boat. "Zoey you made it." Mako said Zoey. "Of course I made it, don't tell me you doubted your partner? Golurk return." Zoey asked Mako as she returned Golurk to his Pokeball. "A little bit. But I'm glad you're okay." Mako said to Zoey.
"Me two. But what was that all about?" Asami asked everyone. "Someone paid the Triple Threats to keep us distracted." Mako said to Asami. "Distracted? Form what?" Asami asked everyone. "Viper had no idea. But I think I do." Zoey said to Asami. "What? Oh, no." Asami said to Zoey as she realised what she was talking about. "Asami gets us back to the docks." Zoey said to Asami. Asami then steered the boat into the direction of the docks.
Republic City Docks
When they got to the docks Asami opened the doors of the warehouse where all of Asami stuff was in. but once Asami turned on the lights. Then noticed everything was gone. "Wherever paid the Triple Threats stole everything." Mako said to Asami. "I'm ruined." Asami said to Mako. "And it's all your fault." Zoey said as she slammed Mako into the door, with her left hand. "Zoey calm down." Mako said to Zoey. "No!" Zoey said as her right flame claw appeared and pointed her index finger at Mako.
"This is your fault. You just had to ask gangerters for help. You had to go into Lin's office and intertaigating, making her think that we're fools. And it's my fault for driving her away." Zoey said to Mako, turning off her flame claw, and putting Mako down. Zoey then started to leave. "Zoey where are you going?" Mako asked Zoey. but Zoey said nothing, she just kept walking.
"This can't get any worse." Mako said as he got up. "It can. My company… it's over." Asami said to Mako. "No it's not. We should check out your other warehouse. Maybe they didn't have time to hit them all." Mako said to Asami. "You don't understand. Everything I had was in here." Asami said to Mako. "We have to search the place for evidence. If we can find a lead..." Mako said to Asami.
"Mako… it doesn't matter anymore." Asami said to Mako. "I can figure this out." Mako said to Asami. "Just stop. It's over. Our friends are all scattered. I lost everything. And I give up." Asami said to Mako. "Well, I'm not giving up on you." Mako said to Asami. Then with tears in Asami's eyes, Asami kissed Mako on the lips surprising Mako. Asami then realized what she did and stopped the kiss. "Sorry, I-." Asami said to Mako, but was interrupted by Mako.
"Uh… It's- It's okay. Um… Anyway… I gotta run. I'm gonna find out who did this. And I know just who to ask. But first I have to find Zoey." Mako said to Asami, as he left Asami.
Republic City Air Temple Island
Mako then walked around until the sun started to rise, and found Zoey punching a rock that was covered in burn marks. "Zoey are you okay?" Mako asked Zoey. "No." Zoey said to Mako, as she continued punching the rock. "What's wrong?" Mako asked Zoey. "I'm mad that we were tricked. That we failed Asami. That Lu and Gang are turning us into jokes. And I'm mad that Korra made us choose sides." Zoey said to Mako, as she stopped punching the rock. "There are no sides." Mako said to Zoey.
"Yes there is. Korra made it clear. It was either what we thought was right or her. And we choose to do what we think is right." Zoey said to Mako, turning towards him. "So you want to find her?" Mako asked Zoey. "No. I may be mad at myself for how I acted towards Korra. But that still doesn't mean I forgave her for trying to force Republic City into the war that me, Korra, and Lucas started." Zoey said to Mako. "We all started that war." Mako said to Zoey.
"No you didn't. It was because the three of us opened that damned Portal. All to help the South. Well I guess it did help end the South." Zoey said to Mak, crossing her arms. "Look I'm not the best with feelings, but if up for it. I have something you can take your anger out on." Mako said to Zoey. Zoey then cracked a smile.
Republic City Streets
In the streets Mako and Zoey found Ping. And Zoey Slammed him into a wall a few times. "Easy Tigress. Hey Mako. Uh, you two aren't mad about last night, are you?" Ping asked Zoey and Mako. "Mad would be an improvement." Zoey said to Ping. "Who hired you to double-cross us?" Mako asked Ping. "I don't know." Ping said to Mak. "Zey said your boss doesn't know. But I bet you do know." Mako said as he firebend a small intense flame dagger.
"And you're gonna tell me." Mako said to Ping. "And if you don't I could use a test dummy for my claws. Still figuring out how they work." Zoey said as she lit up her right hand and placed it on the wall, leaving a burn scratch mark. "So are you going to talk or we're gonna have to change your name to "No Toed Ping."?" Mako asked Ping. "Or "No Face Ping."?" Zoey asked Ping.
"Really, I don't know. You have to believe me. We never met the guy who hired us." Ping said to Mako and Zoey. "You expect us to believe that?" Mako asked Ping. "After you all left the hideout, some mook in a hood showed up and said his boss would pay us to keep you distracted. We'd never seen him before and we ain't seen him since. Come on, Mako, you know how these deals work. Please I would never lie to you with my lucky toes on the line." Ping said to Mako.
"I believe him." Zoey said to Mako, letting Ping go. "Why?" Mako asked Zoey. "Is it because you know I'm an honest man." Ping said to Zoey. "No. It's because you are a chatterbox and never shut up. So you're probably telling the truth." Zoey said to everyone. "Fine Get out of here." Mako said to Ping pushing Ping back a few feet. Ping then ran. "Got any other ideas?" Zoey asked Mako. "I got one more." Mako said as he started walking with Zoey following him.
Some time later Mako, and Zoey made it to Bolin's movie set. Where they found Bolin sitting in a chair, eating popcorn. "Bolin, have you seen Varrick around?" Mako asked Bolin. But Bolin didn't say anything, because he was chewing some popcorn. "BOLIN TALK NOW!" Zoey Yelled lighting the rest of Bolin's popcorn on fire. "My popcorn. What's your problem Zoey?" Bolin asked Zoey.
"My problem is while you have been playing around. I've been up all night and we want to talk to Varrick. Now answer or Nuktuk next sense will be him being ambushed by firebenders." Zoey said to Bolin. "Man what's with you and Lucas. You two on edge. You all need to relax." Bolin said to Zoey. "Bolin, where's Varrick? We need to ask him something." Mako asked Bolin.
"Hmm. Can't say that I've seen him. But I've been kinda busy, you know, rehearsing for my big scene. There's gonna be some crazy "Pyrotechnics." That movie speaks for explosions." Bolin said to Mako and Zoey. "We need Nuktuk on set. Running explosion scene." A crew man said to Bolin.
"Or sometimes we just call them explosions." Bolin said to everyone, as he got up. "Anyway, wish I could stand around here and chitichat, but you know, I gotta go shoot my big scene." Bolin said to them as he left. "Oh yes where would your comity be with their half nacked star." Zoey said to Bolin with an annoyed tune in her voice.
Then everyone got in place for Bolin's scene. "Okay, the set is clear. Camera's rolling. And… Action." the director said as a belled rang. "Ginger, Stay down! I'm coming for you." Blin said before he started to run. As Bolin ran, explosions followed. And Mako and Zoey notice something familiar about those explosions. "You thinking, what I'm thinking?" Zoey asked Mako. Mako then nodded yes.
Soon the two of them moved to a guy that was prepping some explosives. "How did you rig those explosions to go off like that?" Mako asked the man. "It's so cool we really want to know." Zoey asked the man, faking a smile. "I know it's neat it's it. It's a Varrick industries exclusive. Here, check it out." The man said to Mako and Zoey, as he handed Zoey a detonator. Then Mako and Zoey looked at the detonator and noticed it was the exact same detonator they found.
"The explosions use a remote detonator." The man said to Mako and Zoey. "Varrick." Mako said to Zoey. "Come on we have to tell Asami and Lucas." Zoey said as they left the move set.
Republic City Warehouses
Zoey and Mako moved as fast as they could to the main factory of Future Industries. "Asami, I think I know who set us up." Mako said to Asami, as Mako and Zoey burst into the office. "And you'll never believe who it is." Zoey said to Asami, as they noticed Asami, Lucas, and a third person, sighing papers. Then the third person turned the chair and revealed it's Varrick.
"Hello, Mako and Zoey." Varrick said to them. "What are you doing here?" Mako asked Varrick. "He just saved my company. Varrick Bought a controlling interest in Future Industries, and made Lucas the Vice President of both Future industry and Varrick Global Industries. Isn't that great?" Asami said to Mako and Zoey. "Yep, I like to think I'm always there to stand up for the little guys. Especially if those little guys can help this guy become a bigger guy." Varrick said to Mako and Zoey.
"I'm surprised that you would be a Vice President Lucas?" Zoey said to Lucas. "It wasn't planned. We were arguing about this contact all morning and wasting my time. Finally I told him the only way I would sign this is if he made me Vice President of both companies. Both Asami and Varrick agreed and here we are now." Lucas said to Zoey. "One big company family." Varrick said as he pulled Asami and Lucas to his sides, in a group hug.
"So what were you saying Mako, Zoey? You think you know who hired the Triple Threats?" Asami asked them. "Yeah, and I'm really close to proving it." Mako said to Asami as he looked at Varrick. "And when we prove it. He's going to pay for everything he's done." Zoey said to Asami, as she looked at Varrick. "We'll fill you in later." Mako said as he and Zoey left. "That was odd." Lucas said as he looked at Varrick.
An Unknown Island
On an unknown Island Dakota and Korra washed up on shore. Dakota was the first one to wake up, coughing up some sea water. "Well at least we're on dry land." Dakota said before he went to check on Korra. "Oh good you're still alive." Dakota said to Korra, as he felt a pulse on Korra's neck. Dakota then took a seat looking at the ocean.
"Okay Dakota think. You're on an unknown island. There's something wrong with your bending. You don't have any Pokemon and have no idea where Decidueye is. Plus Korra out cold." Dakota said listing everything. "You know saying that out loud doesn't help." Dakota said to Himself.
"Decidueye." A voice behind Dakota said. Dakota then turned around to see Decidueye standing behind him with the people in the fire sage robes. "Decidueye? I that you and are those Fire Sages?" Dakota asked Decidueye. "Decidueye." Decidueye said nodding yes. "Who are you?" A male fire sage asked Dakota. "I'm Dakota and this is Korra." Dakota said as Korra started to wake up.
Everyone then looked at Korra. then Korra's eyes open in shock. "Get away from me!" Korra said knocking everyone back with an air kick, and getting up. But she was still too exhausted to stand, and drop to her knees. "It's okay, we're here to help you, Avatar Korra." The male fire sage said to Korra. "Who's- Who's Avatar Korra?" Korra said to the fire sage.
Korra's words surprised everyone. "That's you. Your Korra." Dakota said as he kneeled down to Korra. "What happened to you two? How did you two end up on our island?" the male fire sage asked Korra and Dakota. "I… Don't know. I can't remember anything." Korra said to the sage before she passed out.
"I got you Korra." Dakota said as he caught Dakota. "I know Decidueye must have been in pain when he got here. So there must be a doctor or someone on this Island that can help." Dakota said to sages. "This is. First let us go fetch a gurney for the Avatar." The male fire sage said before he and another of the sages left Dakota, Korra and Decidueye. "Hand on Korra. You're going to be alright." Dakota said to Korra, as he laid her down in the sand.
