Hello everyone this Chapter is my one of my longest Chapter i wrought for any of my stories, and I hope you like it.
Now on to part 8.
Book Spirit Part 8
Arceus Tale Of The Beginning Pt 2
The Unknown Island
The fire sages and Decidueye were watching Korra, and Dakota, with worried looks on their faces. The only one not worried was the elderly woman. "Should we pull them up?" A sage asked the elderly woman. "No. Arcues has connected them with their deepest and forgotten memories. They must confront their past together if they are to move forward." The elderly woman said to everyone.
"Decidueye dec dec decidueye?" Decidueye asked the elderly woman. "I know it's hard for you to sit here and do nothing. But all we can do is hope they survived their ordeal.
The Ancient Past
The Human and Spirit realms are headed toward annihilation, if not extinction, and it's all your fault." Raava said to Wan. "Wan what have you done." Scarlett said to Wan, as they all lowered their heads. "I'll tell you what he's done. He showed why humans don't belong in the Wilds. He interfered in the business of spirits." Raava said to everyone, making everyone raise their heads.
"I disagree with that Raava. We all live in the Wilds and there has been every little trouble with us." Jacob said to Raava. "I've learned from my friends. That this world is home to all of us, and what happens here is everyone's business." Wan said to Raava. "Thanks to you, this world may cease to exist! I only hope I can track down Vaatu before it's too late, or before he finds out." Raava said to Wan. "He who?" Scarlett asked Raava. "It doesn't matter." Raava said to Scarlett.
"Let us help you." Wan said to Raava. "Yeah it's the least we can do for you." Layla said to Raava. "I don't want your help. Don't interfere with me again, Humans." Raava said to everyone, before she left. "That could have gone much better." Jacob said to everyone. "Let's get moving." Wan said to everyone. "Okay." Gene said as they all started to walk.
A few hours later everyone was on the back of the creatures they were riding, when Wan stopped in the middle of a path of a bamboo forest. "What is it Wan?" Scarlett asked Wan. "There something in the trees." Wan said to everyone. Everyone then turned their heads to the tree. "Strange I don't see anything." Jacob said to Wan. "Wait I see something. A group of males with baskets. There over there." Jacob said to everyone as he pointed to the left.
Soon everyone started to move through the bamboo forest. They sound found themselves in a clear and found people that looked like male versions of Layla flying in the air and had oragage robes that covered all about one arm, and red robes for pants. "I can't believe it, they're air users." Wan said to everyone. "That means we're probably close to my Lion Turtle." Layla said to everyone. "Let's go say high." Wan said as he, Mula, and Charmeleon jumped forward.
"Hello everyone." Wan said to the air users. All the air users screamed and ran away. "Wait! I'm friendly!" Wan said to the air users. "Don't take it personally the people of my Lion Turtle prefer to run when something happens to them. But they should be fine once they get to the Lion Turtle." Layla said to Wan. "Then let's go to the Lion Turtle." Wan said to everyone before he took off with Mula and Charmeleon. "Wan, wait that way is a..." Jacob tried to say to Wan, but too late Wan was gone. "...cliff." Jacob said, finishing his sentence.
"Sceptile can you go get Wan, before he falls off the cliff." Scarlett asked Sceptile. "Sceptile." Sceptile said before he ran after Wan.
Meanwhile Wan, Mula and Charmeleon chasing after the air user, not looking at the path ahead of them. But then when they noticed the cliff, and Mula stopped with Wan getting thrown off, and Charmeleon holding onto Mula. Then Sceptile appeared out of the forest and grabbed Wan and the edge of the cliff. "Thanks Sceptile." Wan said to Sceptile, as Sceptile pulled him and Wan up. "When are you going to learn to wait for us?" Jacob asked Wan. "Probably never. So Layla where your Lion Turtle?" Wan said to Jacob and asked Layal.
"Turn around." Layla said to Wan. Wan then turned around to see a Lion Turtle like the one he was from. The major difference was that this Lion Turtle had more nature on it then the one Wan is from. Everyone but Layla and Meganium had looks of wonder in the eyes. "Pretty cool isn't it?" Layla asked Wan. "Pretty cool? It's amazing. A flying Lion Turtle." Wan said to Layla, as they noticed the Lion Turtle taking away the air power of the people they just saw.
"I have to get over there." Wan said to everyone. "I'll go with you." Gene said to Wan. "Me two." Scarlett said to Wan. "It's my old home. So I'll go too." Layla said to Wan. "Well I'll stay here." Jacob said to Wan. "Come on you don't want to see Layla's home?" Wan asked Jacob. "Need I remind you. Blind man, flying Lion Turtle, I don't know about you, but that just sounds like a bad idea to me. Besides, someone has to stay here with Mula and the creatures. Remember they can't fly and I doubt they can get up there." Jacob said to Wan.
"Far point." Wan said to Jacob. "Now how are we going to get up there?" Gene asked everyone. "How far away is the Lion Turtle?" Jacob asked everyone. "About a few huts away." Scarlett said to Jacob. "Okay, then your welcome, or sorry if I kill you." Jacob said to everyone. "Wait what! Jacob what are you going to DOOOOOOOOOO!" Scarlett said to Jacob, before she started to scream, after Jacob used the earth to kick them into the air, causing everyone to scream.
But Jacob didn't send them high enough into the air, and they missed, lucky they were able to grab some vines that were dangling from the Lion Turtle. "YOU MISSED!" Scarlett yelled to Jacob. "SORRY." Jacob yelled. "Come on let's go." Layla said as they started to climb the vines. Soon all of them made it to the city, and it wasn't that much different from the homes they had back in the village, just smaller in the size of the forest it was a part of.
The people of the Lion Turtle looked at Wan, Gene, Layla, and Scarlett, with cousity looks. As Wan, Gene, and Scarlett, looked around, and noticed spirits living with them, but not creatures. "Wow." Wan said to everyone. "Yeah as you can tell, a lot of the basic things for our village is based on air users culture." Layla said to everyone. Wan then noticed a group of men meditating and ran to them. Everyone else then started to follow Wan.
"Hi, how are you? I'm Wan. and these are my friends." Wan said to the group of men, as he noticed everyone walking next to him. The group of men looked at Wan with a curious look. "I'm sorry to interrupt, I was just excited to be here." Wan said to the group of men. "Where did you come from strangers?" One of the men asked everyone, as a spirit landed on his shoulder. "A far away village. Our friend here wanted to see the place the rest of us were born." Gene said to the group of men.
"Yeah for the past two years I've been living among the spirits, creatures, and people who call the Wilds home, and I wanted to see where all the wonderful people I know comes from." Wan said to the group of men. "Yeah so I want to show him what it's like to live as an air user." Layla said to the group of men. "Then all of you please sit with us. We would love to hear your travels." The man with the spirit said to everyone. But then the spirit on the man's shoulder turned black and became violent and attacked Wan.
Wan ducked and the spirit missed him. Then everyone noticed the rest of the spirits in the city turning balck and becoming violent. Soon everyone in the city was running around screaming as the spirits started to attack. Then a shadow appeared above them. And everyone looked up to see Vaatu above them, but now he was larger and had more streamers.
"Vaatu." Wan said to everyone. "It looks like Raava was right about him." Scarlett said to everyone. "So we meet again, Human." Vaatu said to Wan. "Why is the great Spirit of Darkness here but not his other half?" A male air user asked everyone. "Uh, I'll explain later." Wan said to the man. "Wait, if they know that Vaatu was the Spirit of Darkness, why didn't you?" Scarlett asked Layla. "Hah hah, I may or may not have ignored every lesson about spirit history and insead daydreamed of being an air user. Hah hah." Layla said to Scarlett, making Scarlett slap her hand into head.
Then once Scarlett lowered her hand, they all ran to the middle of the city. "Leave these people in peace. They've done nothing to harm you." Wan said to Vaatu and the sprites. But that did nothing. Then a black spirit attacked the group. "I get the feeling that they don't care what these people did." Gene said to Wan. then the group noticed a black spirit attacking a woman and her child.
Wan wasted no time and fire blasted it away. This got the attention of the other spirits. Soon everyone used their elements to push the spirits back, with Gene using water from a nearby broken jar. At first they were all standing back to back, but as the dark spirits started to attack the people again, they split up to protect the people.
Meanwhile in the trees Raava was watching this, though her size was smaller than when she left. Soon Raava charged at Vaatu. "Be gone." Raava said to Vaatu, as she rammed into Vaatu. This made everyone crack a smile. Then Raava came and drove the black spirits away. "How are you feeling since our split, Raava? I've never been better." Vaatu said to Raava, showing off his body. "When Harmonic Convergence comes, I will destroy you, then I'll destroy him, and I will rule over everything forever." Vaatu said to Rava, before he and black spirits left.
"Well he's got a big ego." Scarlett said as everyone let out a breath. "I told you all not to interfere." Raava said to Wan and his friends. "I had to do something." Wan said to Raava. "We all had to." Layla said to Raava. "Yeah these people were in danger, we couldn't turn a blind eye to that." Gene said to Raava.
"Great Spirit of Light, we thank you for your help. But how did you become split from Vaatu?" A male air user asked Raava. "Ask him." Raava said to the man. Then everyone looked at Gene. "She means Wan." Gene said to everyone, as he pointed to Wan. "It wasn't my fault. Vaatu tricked me into freeing him. I'd take it all back if I could." Wan said to everyone. "It's too late for that. Now that Vaatu is free. He is turning other spirits dark. The more spirits he turns, the stronger he becomes." Raava said to everyone.
"And by turning you mean that whole spirits turn black and wild, thing we just saw?" Gene asked Raava. "Correct." Raava said to Gene. "Wait. if he's getting big and you're getting smaller." Wan said to Raava. "As Darkness grows, Light fades." Raava said to everyone. "Oh no." Layla said as she covered her mouth. "I'm sorry for endangering your village, but I promise to set things right." Wan said to the people of the Lion Turtle. "How?" A male air user asked Wan. "Yes how?" A new voice said.
This new voice was gentle and commanding and came from everywhere. "Oh no." Raava said as three portals in the shape of a triangle opened in the sky above them, a pink one, a blue one, and a black one. Soon three very large dragon-like creatures came out of the portals. each giving off a powerful and intimidating vibe, and all looking completely different from one another.
Then a gold portal appeared in the middle of the three, and a white deer-like creature with a gold ring with four green crystals in it around the middle of its body appeared and this creature gave off a vibe that was even more powerful and intimidating then the first three put together.
"Arceus, why are you, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina here?" Raava asked the creatures, as the creatures moved to Raava. "Why do you think? Vaatu is free. I told you last time, if he ever got free again I would not show mercy to either of you two." Arceus said to Raava. "It's not my fault Arceus. It's this Human's fault. He severed the connect you made." Raava said to Arceus, as she pointed one of her streamers to Wan. Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina all looked at Wan.
"So this is the Human that messed everything up." Arceus said as he got a close look at Wan. "Please Arceus, let me kill this Human." Giratina said as he got close to Wan. "Wait before you do anything, let me at least tell you my idea." Wan said to Arceus. "Fine, tell me what is your plan to clean up the mess you've made?" Arceus asked Wan. "We need to meet up with my friend Jacob first and explain what's going on. Then we have to talk to the Lion Turtle." Wan said to Arceus. "Fine, but if you tried to run or attack us. You'll be dead in seconds. Am I clear." Arceus said to Wan. "Yes." Wan said to Arceus before they all started to move.
A few minutes later they all meet up with Jacob and the creatures with him, with everyone looking at Jacob, even the Lion Turtle. "So let me get this straight." Jacob said to Wan after Wan finished explaining everything. "Vaatu getting stronger, Raava getting weaker, and if you don't come up with a good idea this floating white creature that I can't see, is going to kill you?" Jacob asked Wan, summarizing what Wan told him. "Pretty much." Wan said to Jacob.
"Well you're dead." Jacob said to Wan. "JACOB!" Scarlett yelled at Jacob. "What?! I can't see him, but I can feel the power coming off him." Jacob said as he pointed to a random direction. "I'm over here." Arcues said to Jacob, floating in a different direction. "Anyway what idea do you have that won't end with him killing you?" Jacob said to Wan, as he again pointed to a different direction. "I'm not there either." Arcues said to Jacob.
"Anyway Wan what's your idea?" Layla asked Wan. Wan then turned to the Lion Turtle. "Great Lion Turtle I ask that you grant me the power of air so I can defeat Vaatu before it's too late." Wan asked The Lion Turtle, surprising everyone. "That's your idea, using both air and fire." Gene said to Wan. "Wan I don't think you can use both air and fire." Layla said to Wan.
"She's correct. You already carry the power of fire. No human has ever held two elements at the same time." The Lion Turtle said to Wan. "The Lion Turtle is Correct. You Humans lack the bodies needed to control more than two elements." Arceus said to Wan. "I'm not like other Humans. I can learn to do it." Wan said to Arceus. "I doubt you can." Arceus said to Wan. "Hmm, perhaps. But to do so, Raava must hold the power for you until you master it." The Lion Turtle said to everyone.
"Actually that could work." Arceus said to the Lion Turtle. "Master Arceus and ancient one, why would I do that for a human? Especially one who's caused so much trouble?" Raava asked Arceus and the Lion Turtle. "Raava, please, I can't let the world fall into chaos because of my mistake. None of us can defeat Vaatu alone, but together we have a chance." Wan said to Raava. "You may be right." Raava said to Wan.
"I think this is perfect. You and this Human will work together to stop Vaatu." Arceus said to Raava. "Arceus are you sure that we should leave Vaatu to this fool and Raava?" Palkia asked Arceus. "This is a Human and Spirit problem. Let them fix it." Arceus said to Palkia. "Raava you will hold the power of Air for this Human, understood." Arceus said to Raava. "Understood. I will help this human by holding the power of air."
"Arceus if I may be so bold as to remind you. Time is running out. This Human doesn't have the time to learn how to probably use the air element." Dialga said to Arceus. "We can teach him." Layla said to Dialga. "We wait?" Jacob asked Layla. "Yeah, I'm a pretty good air user if I do say so myself. And for the past two years Scarletts has been teaching Wan how to be a fire user. So I think it's only fair that the rest of us help him learn the elements." Layla said to Arceus.
"Layla why are you dragging me into this?" Jacob asked Layla. "Think about it if Raava can hold the elements for Wan, then we should continue on our trip to see the other Lion Turtles. And while we're there Wan can pick up the other two elements." Layla said to Jacob. "I think that's a fine plan." Arceus said to Layla.
"I have a few questions. One can Raava do her "hold the extra elements" for more than one person?" Jacob asked. "At the moment, yes. But as Raava gets weaker, it will get a lot harder to do it. It may get to the point where Raava can't do it." Arceus said to Jacob. "Okay and since this is Wan's idea, he can be Raava's partner. Second question, what's the point of having Wan have all four elements. After all minus Wan the four of us got all the elements so why get the others?" Jacob asked.
"Vaatu is a creature of chaos, being unpredictable may be the only chance you all have to win." Arceus said to Jacob. "Okay, last question, Is there any else that we can do that doesn't involve facing a giant, growing, dark spirit." Jacob said, making everyone look at him. "I can't see, but I know you're all looking at me."
"Let me simplify this for you Human. Your opiations are. 1 die now, or 2 die later." Arceus said to Jacob. "In that case I am all for this plan." Jacob said to Arceus.
"Good. Now hear me Human. You and your friends have until Harmonic Convergence is over to defeat Vaatu. Fail and your plant is bust. Win and the world keeps spinning. Do we have a deal?" Arceus asked Wan. "Deal and thank you. I know that all of us will restore balance to the world." Wan said to Arceus. "We'll see. Now come you five, this is a Human and Spirit problem." Arceus said to Wan and the creatures with him and his friends, before he Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.
"Charmeleon char char charmeleon." Charmeleon said to Arceus. This made Arceus turn to Charmeleon. "You dare disobey me?" Arceus said to Charmeleon, getting closer to Arceus. "Charmeleon." Charmeleon said to Arceus nodding his head yes. "Do you all feel the same?" Arceus asked the other creatures there. They all nodded yes. "Fine then you all will share these Humans and this Spirit fate." Arceus said to the creatures before he, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina disappeared into their respective portals. "Well that went well." Gene said to everyone.
After Raava got the power of air everyone started to move, with them riding their rides. "What's this harmonic thing Vaatu and Arceus were talking about?" Wan asked Raava. "Harmonic Convergence. That is when Vaatu and I must battle for the fate of the world in more ways than one." Raava said to Wan. "What do you mean?" Layla asked Raava. "You see our plant is like an island in the middle of a lake with thousands of rivers connected to it. Since I won the last Harmonic Convergence that lake and rivers have been one of peace and light, but if Vaatu wins that lake and rivers will become toxic and poison the cosmos." Raava said to Layla.
"Is that why Arceus wants to destroy our planet?" Gene asked Raava. "Yes. he is the master of creation itself. And if Vaatu wins Harmonic Convergence, then our planet will be no different then a disease. One that he must destroy to save the cosmos." Raava said to Gene. "I got a question? Doesn't Vaatu know he will be destroyed if he wins?" Jacob asked Raava. "He knows. He just thinks that Arceus is bluffing and that winning Harmonic Convergence will give him the power to defeat him and spread his darkness." Raava said to Wan.
"How long do we have until Harmonic Convergence?" Wan asked Raava. "About a year in your time." Raava said to Wan. "Then we better start training." Wan said to everyone.
A few hours later everyone stopped and got off their rides. Then Scarlett and Wan practice fire for a bit. "Okay that's enough practicing with fire. It's time for your first air lesson." Layla said to Wan. "Right, so how's this gonna work?" Wan asked Raava. "The only way for me to give you the other element is to pass though your body and combine our energies." Raava said to Wan. "Great. So you've done this before." Wan said to Raava.
"No. this has never even been attempted. It is very dangerous." Raava said to Wan. "That's what they said about living in the Wilds, and we survived that, and made a home of it. I'm ready. Give me the air." Wan said to Raava. Raava said nothing, and moved into the sky. Raava did a few spins before passing through Wan, making a blinding light. When Raava was done, Wan fell to his knees. "Wan you okay?" Layla asked Wan.
Wan said nothing and stood up. Wan performed the same maneuver he did for casting fire, and this time a burst of air came out of his hands. "It feels completely different." Wan said to everyone. "How?" Layla asked Wan. "I can't explain it. It's just different." Wan said to Layla. "Raava, if you and Vaatu have the same fight every 10,000 years, why hasn't one of you destroyed the others?" Wan asked Raava.
"Practice Wan, Raava can explain while we practice." Layla said to Wan, before the two started to practice air using. "Back to Wan's question, why haven't you destroyed Vaatu?" Gene asked Raava. "He cannot destroy light any more than I can destroy darkness. One cannot exist without the other. Even if I defeat Vaatu in this encounter, darkness will grow inside me until he emerges again. The same will hold true if Vaatu defeats me." Raava said to everyone.
Wan then stop practicing. "That doesn't sound so bad. Even if Vaatu wins, you'll come back." Wan said to Raava. "Normal yes. But now that Arceus knows about us, he will not allow Vaatu to spread his darkness for 10,000 years. If Vaatu wins, everything will be erased from existence." Raava said to Wan. "We got to the other Lion Turtle." Wan said to everyone. They all nodded in agreement, and started to leave, with Wan and Layla riding Torterra practicing their air element as they traveled, with Jacob riding Mula.
After they travel to the other Lion Turtle and learn the other elements Wan asks Raava some questions as Wan's friends start to teach him how to use the elements, and with Layla drawing their forms down on a scroll, before putting it with the other completed scrolls. "Why is there so much conflict between Humans, Spirits, and Creatures in the first place?" Wan asked Raava.
"This physical world is where Humans come from. Spirits come from another realm. At the North and South Poles, the two realms intersect. Over time, more and more spirits have drifted into this world. This made both Humans and Spirits violent towards each other, each trying to drive the other one away. This fighting is what drew Arceus attention. To stop it he sent the ancestors of the Creatures you all have with you. At first both Humans and Spirits didn't think that these Creatures were anything important. But we were wrong. Quickly they defeated both Humans and Spirits." Raava said to Wan.
"How?" Wan asked Raava. "These creatures have the power of both the Physical and Spirit realms. They can Physically hurt Humans, and powers that allowed them to hurt Spirits. This drove the Spirits into the Wilds and the Humans onto the back of the Lion Turtles for protection. And over time Humans have lost touch with each other." Raava said to Wan.
"Most people think they live in the only human city in the world." Wan said to Raava. "Most Humans think only of themselves, no matter how many are around." Raava said to Wan, as she passed through Wan. "The people of our home would beg to differ, Raava." Jacob said to Raava. "Wan I got to ask. How does it feel to have Raava past through you?" Layla asked Wan.
"I feel an incredible rush of power." Wan said to Layla before he started to raise a large rock. "Good Wan, now break the rock and send it flying." Jacob said to Wan. Wan then did a punching motion and knocked off the top, then stomped his foot sending the lower part up into the air, Wan then kicked it and sent the lower part flying. "I feel like I'm changing. The more we practice, the stronger I become." Wan said to Layla "Alright that's enough. Let's move on." Scarlett said to everyone, as they started to move.
Days passed, and they all trained getting ready for the battle. During one of these training practices Charmeleon started to glow blue. Soon Chameleon became taller than Wan, his scales were back to its light orange color, the horn on his head became two, and moved the side of his head, but the most amazing thing that happened to Charmeleon was that he gained wings with an orange back, and a light blue front.
"So Gene what do you think Charmeleon's new name should be?" Wan asked Gene. "This time I got something that will blow your mind. We'll call him Charizard." Gene said to Wan. "I don't think that sounds as cool as you think it does." Wan said to Gene. "Shut up." Gene said to Wan, before he started to walk.
Time passed again and they were almost home. "Okay everyone refresher course on the singles for the creatures." Scarlett said to everyone as they kept moving. "Scarlett can't you come up with a better name for what these creatures can do?" Wan asked Scarlett. "Like what Power, or maybe you want something silly like Moves?" Scarlett asked Wan. Wan said nothing.
"Good. Now be quiet. The signals for Sceptile are Leaf Blade, Quick Attack, Double Team, and Leaf Storm. The signals for Torterra are Razor Leaf, Leaf Storm, Earthquake, and Synthesis. The signals for Meganium are Petal Blizzard, Magical Leaf, Petal Dance, and Solar Beam. The signals for Venusaur are Solar Beam, Seed Bomb, Vine Whip, and Synthesis. Finally the signals for Charizard are Air Slash, Flare Blitz, Inferno, and Dragon Breath." Scarlett said to everyone.
"I still think these signals sound silly. I mean come on Vaatu it's going to be scared by a signal called Petal Dance." Jacob said to everyone, with his feet kicked up onto Torterra's rocks. "Oh, like your idea of Leaf Storm will strike fear into Vaatu." Gene said to Jacob. "It's still better than your Vine Whip idea." Jacob said to Gene.
"Now boys, be nice we're almost home. I want everyone to be in a good mood for when we get there." Layla said to Gene and Jacob. "Fine." Jacob said to Layla, as he jumped off Torterra's back. Once his feet touched the ground, a face of horror appeared on his face and he stopped moving, with everyone walking past him. "What is it Jacob?" Scarlett asked Jacob, as they all stopped and turned to Jacob. "It's gone." Jacob said to everyone, confusing them. "What's gone?" Wan asked Jacob.
"The Village. It's gone, I can't see it. I can't see anything." Jacob said to everyone. Fear then took over everyone, and they all started to run. Soon they made it to the top of a cliff that overlooked the Village. There they saw their village completely burned away. All that was the Village was now nothing but ash and the very land was all burned. "No." Layla said as she ran into the ashes of the Village. Soon everyone then followed Layla.
Soon they all entered the village and with tears in their eyes. Soon Layla, Scarlett, Gene, and Jacob fell to their knees. None of them got up or even moved. They just stayed on their knees letting despair and hopelessness enter their hearts. Wan didn't know what to say, but then he felt something by his feet. Wan looked down and noticed four acorns, unburned and alive. Wan then had an idea and picked up the acorns.
"Come on guys we can't give up. Not after all we've done." Wan said to everyone. "Why not? Even things we want to protect is gone. We have nothing to fight for." Gene said to Wan. "We can fight for the future. Our homes may be gone, but when we look around. I don't see a single body. Our people are alive somewhere." Wan said to everyone. "But what about our homes, they're all burned down. It's all gone." Jacob said to Wan. "Not all of it." Wan said as passed the acorns around, giving each one an acorn.
"We may not get back, our old home. But we will make a new one, and these four acorns will be a part of it." Wan said to everyone, as they looked at the acorns in their hands. They all then gripped the acorns. "Your right Wan. but First let's find our people." Scarlett said as they all started to get up. "Let's all split up and look around. Raava, can you fly around and keep us all informed on what the others found." Layla asked Raava. "I will." Raava said as they all went their own ways, with them going with their partner creature.
While Looking around, Raava flew to Wan. "Anything Raava?" Wan asked Raava. "The others have found nothing." Raava said to Wan. Then Wan started to sniff the air, he smelled smoke. Wan then headed in the deaction the smell was coming from with Raava, Charizard and Mula following him. Wan then found himself overlooking a small village. There people were using fire to cut down and burn the forest around them. Wan then moved to the village.
Once he made it to the village the people of that village turned to Wan, Charizard, Mula, and Raava. "A spirit and monster." A village said before launching a fire blast at Raava and Charizard. But Wan used air to block the fire, and stood in front of Charizard and Raava. "Easy there, fellas. We're friendly." Wan said to the villagers. "I can't believe it. Wan?" a man said to Wan, as he walked forward. "Jaya! What are you doing out here?" Wan said as he realised that this man was his old friend Jaya.
The two shared a hug. "Ha ha. You inspired us. One we hear you survived out in the Wilds, we decided to try it too." Jaya said to Wan. "Where's Yao? Did he come with you?" Wan asked Jaya. "Yes, but sadly he didn't make it. We- lost a lot of good men along the way." Jaya said to Wan, with a sad tune in his voice.
"So why were you protecting this spirit and monster?" Jaya asked Wan. "This is Raava and my partner Charizard. Don't worry. She's not like the dark spirits you've probably run into. And Charizard may look mean, but I wouldn't be here without his friend ship." Wan said to Jaya.
"Dark spirits? What's the difference? We throw fire at any spirit or monster we see around here. Just like they attack any man." Jaya said to Wan, making Charizard and Raava mad. "You have no idea what you're doing! You are only making things worse." Raava said to Jaya. "You sound just like these traitors." Jaya said to Raava. "What traitors?" Wan asked Jaya.
"You see there was this village. The people there tried to make us like them saying that we could all live in peace. But they were fools. They were slaves, taking care of the spirits and monsters that lived with them. Doing everything they could to make the spirits and monsters happy. I tried to tell them that they didn't need to live like that, that if they joined us we could set them free like you did for us. But they chose to stay slaves. So we had to free them by burning down their village. We hoped it would have joined us when it was all burned down. But they didn't and I haven't seen them since." Jaya said to Wan.
"You burned down our home!" Wan said before blasting Jaya with a burst of air. Jaya then went flying into a tree. "What was that?" Jaya said as he tried to regain his focus. "You attacked my home, attacked my people, and hurt my friends." Wan said to Jaya. "The spirits are coming back!" A man said, making everyone turn their heads. "Let's wipe 'em out this time." Jaya said to his people as he got up. "We'll burn down this whole forest if we have to." Jaya said to his people as they all started to move.
"What happened to you? When did you become so violent?" Wan asked Jaya. "You showed me we could change the world if we just stopped being so afraid. Now we're doing it." Jaya said to Wan, as he started to leave. But Wan stopped him. "And what difference is there between Chou the Elder and you." Wan said to Jaya. "I'm nothing like Chou the Elder. I'm trying to free the humans, he just wanted to control us, the same way those people wanted to be controlled by Spirits and Monsters." Jay said to Wan as he got free and left. "This isn't what I had in mind. And this isn't true freedom." Wan said to Jaya, not that Jaya was listening
Soon Jaya, his people and a group of spirits, led by Aye-aye, charged at each other. Soon they all stop, with Jaya and his people lighting their fires. "Get out of the forest, Humans, or pay for your crimes with your lives." Aye-aye said to Jaya and Jaya's people.
"Wait." Wan said as he, Raava, and Charizard moved to the middle of the two groups. "We can resolve this peacefully." Wan said to everyone. "Stinky? You came back. And is that Charmeleon, my has he grown. Are they others with you?" Aye-aye asked Wan. "It's good to see you again Aye-aye. And the others are around." Wan said to Aye-aye. "You, Charmeleon, and Raava are just in time to help us clear these tree-killing. live-ruining, fire-lover out of here just like the old days. Or you can help us destroy their lives the same way they destroyed the lives of the Village." Aye-aye said to Wan.
"You are the one who's getting cleared out. And it's you who destroyed those lives, by forcing them to be your slaves." Jaya said to Aye-aye. "There's no need for violence. I know there must be a way to work out a compromise." Wan said to everyone. "You have a good heart, Stinky. But these fire tossers aren't like you. And you weren't here to hear the cries of fear, when they burned down the Village." Aye-aye said to Wan. "Spirits like him killed our friends and enslaved those people. I can't let them get away with that." Jaya said to Wan.
Soon storm clouds appeared above their heads. Then thunder cracked and an image of Vaatu appeared in the storm clouds. Then a wicked laugh filled the air, soon the spirits started to become wicked and monsters' version of themselves. "We are Protectors of the forest. We won't let you burn it down, like you did the village." Aye-aye said to jaya, with a twisted voice.
"It's Vaatu. He's growing stronger, using their anger to turn them to his side." Raava said to Wan, before Jaya, threw a simple small fireball at Aye-aye. Aye-aye easily dodge it. "Wipe them out!" Aye-aye said to the spirits. Soon both sides started to charge. But Wan would not allow them to fight. He used the power of air to push the spirits back and to stuff out the fire of Jaya's people.
"Stop, please!" Wan said to everyone, as he used the power of air to push everyone back, trying to keep them from fighting. But it wasn't working. "Raava, we need to combine our energies. Maybe then we'll have enough power to stop this." Wan said to Raava. Raava said nothing and possessed Wan. Wan then started to glow white Wan then made a tornado and jumped up into the air with all four elements circling around him.
"Enough! You need to stop fighting now before you destroy each other." Wan said to everyone, demistaing the power he had. The energy from that power was enough to turn Aye-aye back to his normal from. "Stinky, w-what happened?" Aye-aye asked Wan. "He's controlling all four elements." Jaya said to everyone. "Wan, I have to leave your, or I'll destroy you." Raava said from inside Wan's head, letting only Wan hear her. "No. it's working. If you leave, the fighting will start again." Wan said to Raava.
But she couldn't, soon Wan and Raava split villently, knocking the both out. Charizard then flew up and grabbed them, getting them out of the way before the two groups started to fight again. Charizard then landed on a hill nearby with both Wan and Raava still out cold. Charizard then looked at the fighting and at Wan and Raava. He knew that this wasn't what his friend wanted, that he was the only one that could stop this.
Then three streams of energy came out of Wan and entered Charizard, Charizard then started to glow blue again, as flames engoughed him. And whether this energy came from the energy Raava left in Wan or from Wan himself, Charizard did not know or care. Cause he felt a power that he never felt before.
Soon the flames died down revealing Charizard's new look. This time Charizard had black scales with light blue scales in the front of his body. Two black spicks with blue tips grow out of his shoulders, his changed shape, and gained a spick on end of each of his wings, the horns on his head, becasme pointy with a blue tip, and his tail flame became blue, and two streams burst out of Charizards mouth.
Charizard looked at himself, before cracking a smile. Wan then opened his eyes to see Charizard in his new form. "Charizard." Wan said, wondering if that was really Charizard, before passing out again. Charizard then jumped into the air. Soon red fire engulfed Charizard, then the fire turned a bright blue. Then Charizard flew at the group of Humans and Spirits, like a meteor falling from the sky. With ease he cut through both groups, making both groups turn to Charizard.
Charizard then opened his mouth, and a large burst of teal energy came out of his mouth. Charizard then spun around and sent a few Human and Spirit flying. "Get him." Aye-aye said to the spirits. "Kill the monster." Jay said to his people. "Charizard." Charizard said as he flapped his wings. Then a gust of blade like winds burst out of Charizard's wings. Each wind blade, slashed threw both Humans and Spirits, these blades made the Spirits disappear and left multiple deep cuts on the humans.
This didn't scare both groups, and then the spirits soon dogpiled on Charizard. But Charizard easily threw them off him, and started to bite a few of the spirits, as other spirits slashed and whipped Charizard. Soon Charizard had wounds all over his body, but he kept fighting. Jaya and his people took this chance and fired multiple fire blasts at Charizard. Charizard notices this and fires a large stream of blue fire from his mouth. The fire snuffed out Jaya and his people's fire, and moved like a snake.
The flame did not stop there. The flame went past the humans burning them with the heat that was coming off it. Then the fame started to go through Jaya's village. In seconds that village was ablaze. "CHARIZARD!" Charizard roared in victory. This made all the Humans and Spirits run for their lives. But Charizard would not let one of them go. Charizard then flew up and grabbed one of the Humans, and lifted the Human into the air. That Human was Jaya.
Jaya had a look of fear in his face, as flames gathered in Charizard's mouth. But then Charizard locked eyes with Jaya. and realized that this isn't what Wan would have wanted. Charizard then flew down into the ground and put Jaya down. Charizard then roared at Jaya, before turning around and walking away. But Jaya didn't start running. He got a fireball ready and took a step forward, stepping on a twig. The sound of the twig breaking, caused Charizard to turn his head towards Jaya, right before the fire ball hit Charizard in his left eye, burning it out.
"CHARIZARD!" Charizard roared in pain, shaking his head. As he shook his head, he noticed Jaya getting ready for another attack. This time Charizard dodged Jaya's attack, and would show him no mercy. Charizard fired another stream of fire, hitting Jaya directly, and sending Jaya flying off into the distance. Charizard then changed back to his previous form, and fell to the ground, the injuries knocking him out.
Hours later Wan woke up on a bed of leaves, in some thick woods. Then he noticed Layla, Gene, Jacob, and Scarlett looking at him. "What, what happened?" Wan asked everyone. "We were hoping you could tell us?" Gene asked Wan. "I found my old friend Jaya." Wan said to everyone. "Jaya, what was he doing out here?" Scarlet asked Wan. "He thought that humans could live in the Wilds if they used the power of fire." Wan said to Scarlett.
"Then what happened?" Layla asked Wan. "He and his people have been attacking Spirits and Creatures for a while now. And a group of spirits led by Aye-aye decided that they had enough. They came to attack Jaya's village. But me and Raava tried to stop him, but Jaya and his people wanted to fight. Raava entered me and we were able to push them back. But only for a few seconds. I blacked out after that. But I opened my eyes for a few seconds and saw Charizard, but he was all back instead of orange." Wan said to everyone.
"That would explain what happened to Raava, but not Charizard." Gene said to Wan. "What are you talking about?" Wan asked everyone. No one said anything, but Gene pointed to his side. Wan turned his head and saw Raava, who was the size of a human arm, laying a leaf bed next to him. And near her was Charizard, covered in wounds and breathing heavily, while sleeping. Wan got up and moved to Charizard, kneeling down in front of Charizard.
Wan then placed a hand on Charizard's back, feeling Charizard breathing. "This is my fault." Wan said to everyone, as he placed his head on Charizard's head. "No it's not Wan." Layla said to Wan. "Yes it is. Jaya said he burned down our home, because of the stuff I've said and done. This is all my fault. Vaatu's freedom, our home destruction, Charizard's pain, and the loss of our people. It would have been better if I never was born." Wan said to everyone.
"That's not true Wan. you're an amazing person." A female voice said to wan, a female voice that Wan, hasn't heard in almost a year. Wan then turned around to see all the people from the village looking at him with concerned looks on their faces, all their creatures and spirits with them. With Joy in the front, with Mula next to her, and a small baby in her arms, wrapped in a pink blanket.
"They're all okay." Wan said to everyone. "We found them scattered around the area, before we found you four." Jacob said to Wan. "But how come those spirits haven't turned dark like the other once. I saw Aye-aye turn into a dark spirit?" Wan asked everyone.
"Don't know the spirits around us have been peaceful, while the other ones have been wild and crazy, lately." Jenny said to Wan, as she moved to the front of the people. "Wan you're one of us, and we stick together even in troubling times like this. None of use blame you for any of this. And I know you'll fix everything and make a home for us all. One where we can raise our little ones, in peace." Joy said to Wan, showing Wan her baby, letting Wan see that it was a little girl that was only a couple months old and had the same hair color as her mother.
"Wan you have made a few mistakes, but you're still our friend. Your still family." Layla said to Wan. Wan then cracked a smile. "You're right. You four and our creatures are my family. And everyone in my village is my friend." Wan said to everyone. "Those… are kind... words… Wan" Raava said to Wan, drawing the attention of everyone. "Raava." Wan said to Raava, as he picked her up.
Then Jenney walked towards Wan. "Here it's one of the few things we were able to save when we lost our village." Jenny said to Wan, as she held out a teapot, that had a red top, and handle, a white bottom, and a black spout. "Thank you Jenny." Wan said as he took the teapot. Wan then put Raava in it. "We need to get moving." Wan said to everyone.
"Okay, but Charizard will have to stay here." Gene said to Wan. "What no we need him." Wan said to Gene. "Wan, Charizard is to hurt. He needs time to recover. If he leaves with us, he will die, whether that be on the way there or during the battle." Gene said to Wan. "I know it's hard Wan, but he has to stay here." Scarlett said to Wan.
Wan then placed a hand on Charizard's head. "We'll be back Charizard. Get well." Wan said to Charizard. "I'm sorry everyone, but we need to go." Wan said to everyone. "We understand Wan. We'll be waiting for you to get back." Jenny said to Wan. "Take care of Charizard." Wan said as he, and the others mounted up. "We will." Joy said, as Wan and the others started to leave. As the left, the villagers all wayed goodbye, with Wan turning his head to look at Charizard for what may be the last time.
They traveled for days and reached the South Pole Spirit Portal. "We're almost there." Raava said to everyone as she stuck her head out of the teapot, revealing her tiny form with only four streamers left. "Then it's almost time."
"I was wrong about you all. I had no idea that humans were capable of such nobility and courage, and not just from one human but from a whole village of them. I'm sorry that we do not have much more time together. I would have loved to help you rebuild your home, and be a part of your family." Raava said to everyone.
"Let's not give up before the battle's even begun. Who knows what will happen? After all, this is my first Harmonic Convergence." Wan said to Raava. "Yeah no matter what happens, we'll face it as a family." Layla said to Raava.
Soon they stood in front of a pillar of energy that was shooting up into the sky that was surrounded by a forest despite it being in the middle of a frozen wasteland. "This the Southern Portal to the Spirit World. Here Vaatu and I will do battle once again at the place where the two worlds meet." Raava said as they all entered the portal. On the other side the energy flow turned from going up to going down. Then everyone took in the sight of the Spirit World.
The place was covered in sharp rocks that were sticking up, with a dead tree in the middle of it, and another pillar of energy shooting up on the other side of the area. Then out of that other pillar of energy Vaatu appeared. "Are you ready for our final battle, Raava?" Vaatu said as he flew to everyone, showing off his giant mutiny streamer form.
"Thanks to our friend separating us, I think this time I may be rid of you once and for all. And when you're gone Arceus will be next." Vaatu said to Raava. Then everyone dismounted and took a few steps forward, leaving Raava in the teapot, and on Mula's back. "Before you get to her, you'll have to go through us." Wan said as he and his friends stood their ground, and stood tall.
"No, Human, nor Creature can stand against me." Vaatu said to Wan. "Haven't you heard the legends? We're not just Humans and Creatures, and I'm not a regular Human anymore." Wan said before everyone started to fire their element attacks, with Wan using fire. Vaatu just flew in the air, and moved like a serpent doging everyone's attacks.
"Meganium / Venusaur, use Solar Beam." Layla and Gene said to Meganium and Venusaur. "Meganium / Venusaur." The two creatures said as their flowers started to gather light. Soon two intense beams of light burst out of their flowers, Vaatu was only able to dodge most of the beams, but the beams still scratched him.
Vaatu then slammed into the middle of the group sending everyone flying in different directions. Vaatu went after Wan. "I lived 10,000 lifetimes before the first of your Human kind crawled out of the mud. And I will not let these creatures bet me again." Vaatu said before his red turned purple and fired a beam of pure energy at Wan. This sent Wan flying.
"Sceptile / Torterra use Leaf Storm." Scarlett and Jacob said to Sceptile, and Torterra. "Sceptile / Torterra." the two creatures said before, Sceptile's tail and Torterra's tree started to glow green. Then two storms that were made out of leaves burst out of the tail and tree. This trapped Vaatu and gave him a few cuts. But Vaatu easily broke free. "It was I who broke through the divide that separated the plane of spirits from the material world!" Vaatu said to everyone, before firing another energy beam, this time it lasted longer, and hit everyone.
"So all of this, the humans isolation, the spirits distrust towards humans, even the creatures coming, it's all because of you? Why?" Gene asked Vaatu. "To hate me is to give me breath. To fight me is to give me strength. But those creatures tried to stop me from gaining power. But now I have all the power. Now fools prepare to face oblivion!" Vaatu said as he charged up another beam, but this time everyone used their bending to get out of the way of that attack.
"We'll see about that, Sceptile used Quick Attack." Scarlett said to Vaatu, and Sceptile. "Sceptile." Sceptile said as he ran at Vaatu at high speed. Sceptile slammed into Vaatu. "You think that will do anything to me." Vaatu said to Sceptile. "Sceptile use Double Team and get out of there." Scarlett said to Sceptile. "Sceptile." Sceptile said as he turned into multiple copies and started to run away, with Vaatu using his streamers as whips.
"Raava. The only way to win is together." Wan said to Raava. Raava then left the teapot, and entered Wan. Wan then distaracted Vaatu, by using air to lead Vaatu, while the other fired element attacks, and called out signals. " Venusaur uses a Seed Bomb." Gene said to Venusaur. "Sceptile use Leaf Storm again." Scarlett said to Sceptile. Meganium use Petal Blizzard." Layla said to Maganium. "Torterra use Razor Leaf." Jacob said to Torterra.
"Venusaur / Sceptile / Meganium / Torterra." The creatures said, as multiple large green glowing seeds came out of Venusaur's flower, a storm of leaves came out of Sceptile's tail, a blizzard of muty color petals spined out of Meganium's flower, and a few razor sharp leaves coming from Torterra's tree.
All the attacks from both Humans and Creatures were able to scratch Vaatu, Wan took this chance to land a major hit on Vaatu and used his earth power to send him into the air. But even with all the damage, Vaatu still had more than enough power to not only whip Wan away, but whip everyone away. Vaatu's attack knocked everyone but Wan off their feet. Wan wasted no time and got back to fighting. Wan was able to blast vaatu with Water and Fire attacks, breaking a little bit of Vaatu off. Wan then jumped into the air with three large rocks with him.
Vaatu dodged two of the rocks, but one hit. Vaatu tried to swat Wan out of the sky. But he missed. But then when Wan touched the ground, he fell to his knees and started to shake, violently. "I have to leave you. If I stay any longer you will die." Raava said to Wan, only letting Wan hear her. "It doesn't matter. If you leave me now, Vaatu will win. Then Arceus will destroy our planet. We have to finish this together with everyone." Wan said as he started to charge at Vaatu.
Vaatu fired another beam of energy at Wan, but Wan dodged him, and landed a fire blast on Vaatu's back. But Wan then fell to his knees again, and Vaatu used his streamers to grab everyone. Vaatu then slammed everyone into each other, before blasting them with another energy beam, sending them flying towards the Southern Spirit Portal. As they laned the acorns that Scarlett, Layla, Gene, and Jacob, had fallen out of their pockets. They all then grabbed their acorns with their right hands.
Vaatu then showed up and pinned everyone to the base of the Southern Spirit Portal, while the humans had their backs to the ground, and the creatures were on one of their sides. "The Harmonic Convergence is about to begin. The Era of Raava and Arceus is over." Vaatu said as the energy of the portals connected and formed a yellow arch that was overflowing with energy. Vaatu then turned his attention away from everyone.
"Everyone tuche the portal, it's our only chance." Wan Whispered to everyone. "Let's do it." Scarlett said as all five of them touched the portal at the same time, with Gene, Layla, Jacob, and Scarlett using their right hand with the acorns still in their hands, and the creatures placing a part of them on their partners hands. Then Wan started to glow light blue as energy came from the portal, and the others glowed green, with energy coming from both the portal and their creatures.
Vaatu felt this and removed his streamers, and turned to see Wan, body covered in light blue energy, and the other humans all covered in green energy. Once they were all free they stood up, and took a step forward, only to land on their knees. Then four streams of blue energy from Wan came out of his heart and connected with the hearts of Jacob, Scarlett, Gene, and Layla. Then the streams of energy stop leaving a light blue spot on Gene, Jacob, Layla, and Scarlett's heart.
Then all five of them let out a yell releasing a blinding white and green light, forcing vaatu back. When the light faded, Vaatu saw the land had changed. What was once a barren field with rocks sticking out of it, was now a field of grass with vines wrapping around the rocks, and vines covered in flowers wrapped around the dead tree. He also saw that the humans' eyes were glowing, Wan was white, while the others were green. "We are all bonded forever." Raava said, her voice echoing in everyone's head.
Wan then started to use every element one after another, dealing some major damage to Vaatu. Jacob then slammed his hands into the ground and the grass under Vaatu shot up, like a thousand needles, all cutting through Vaatu. This made Vaatu Goan in pain. Vaatu tried to blast them with another energy beam, but Layla raised her hands to the sky, this made the grass around them taller then they were.
They used this tall grass to dodge Vaatu's attack and hide. While hiding Scarlett ran around grabbing a few blades of the tall grass and made it hard, and straight as a spear. Scarlett then tossed the grass spears, all from a different spot making Vaatu wonder where she was. With Vaatu distracted, Gene started to grow the vines that were on the rocks by waving his arms in a serpentine wave. Once they were long enough Gene waved his hands at Vaatu, launching the vines, and wrapping the vines around all of Vaatu's streamers trapping him in place.
"NO!" Vaatu yelled as he tried to break free. But it was too late. Wan started to wrap vaatu in a ball of air cutting off the streamers that had the vines connected to Vaatu. Once the ball was complete, Wan then made ringes of the elements, starting with earth, then air, then water, finally fire.
Wan then started to move, and pushed Vaatu, with everyone following Wan. Soon everyone was in front of the dead tree. Then Wan air blast Vaatu into a hole in the tree, and the others made some vines grow over the hole. Soon a blinding light over to the land. When the light died, everyone saw Vaatu, trapped in the hole with a red-purple energy sphere, with four giant vines over it, with the vines having, white, red, blue, and orange flowers on it.
"It's over Vaatu you lose." Jacob said to Vaatu, as everyone's eyes turned back to normal. "This is your prison now. And I will close the portal so no human will ever be able and release you." Wan said vaatu. "And we will make sure of it." Layla said to Vaatu, as they started to walk towards the Northern Spirit Portal. There Wan made another sphere of energy around it, as Layla and Gene planted their acorns right next to the portal. Soon they placed their hands where they planted the acorns and raised it high into the sky.
Soon two large trees started to grow, with Layla's tree glowing white, and Gene's tree glowing blue. Then Layla and Gene raised one of their hands up and their other hand downs, and then roots that were blowing blue and white wrapped around the portal.
After that they moved to the Southern Spirit Portal and Jacob and Scarlett grew their trees, with Jacob's tree glowing orange, and Scarlett's tree glowing red. But before they closed the portal, they needed to gather the spirits and help them home. Soon all the Spirits were traveling to the Southern Spirit Portal.
Not only the spirits were traveling. It was also the people of the village, who wanted to say goodbye to their Spirit friends. And their partner creature and Charizard joined them as well, wanting to be there for their friend, both Humans and Spirits. As the spirits left, Wan gave a speech to the people of the Village.
"The Spirits must stop fighting with Humans and return to their home in the Spirit World. We will teach men to respect the spirits." Wan said to everyone. Soon all but one spirit was home. The last spirit was Aye-Aye. "Goodbye Aye-aye if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here today." Wan said to Aye-aye. Aye-aye said nothing, he just bowed at Wan. Wan gave Aye-aye a bow, before Aye-aye went home. Once he was gone, Wan closed the portal, and even though the trees were in the Spirits world, Scarlett and Jacob could still feel their trees, and perform the same motion that Layla and Gene did. Soon red and orange glowing roots wrapped around the portal.
"Well it's over. We did it." Layla said to Wan. "And I couldn't have done it without all of you." Wan said as he and his friends. "Yes you all have done well." A voice said. Soon everyone looked up to see Arceus, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina flowing above them. "Arceus why are you here?" Wan asked Arceus. "You all won and closed the Spirit Portals. I'm here to congratulate you." Arceus said to Wan.
"Thanks, but I have the feeling you're here for more than that?" Wan asked Arceus. Arceus closed his eyes and nodded yes. "With the Humans and Spirits divided again, in ways that will prevent them from fighting again. There is no need for my kind to be here. It's time for all creatures to return to our home world." Arceus said to everyone. "Wait you mean we're losing Meganium and the others?" Layla asked Arceus. "Yes." Arceus said to everyone.
"Isn't there anything we can do to keep them here?" Jacob asked Arceus. "No so long as those Portals are closed we will not be a part of this world." Arceus said to Jacob. "And it's too dangerous to open them. So I guess this is goodbye." Gene said to everyone.
Wan then watched as everyone, both Creature and Human hugged each other to the best of their ability. It was sad for the Creatures, because these people were their family. But it was even harder for the Humans. They lost their homes, their Spirit friends were gone, and now their partners, which many have had for years or was born with, were leaving them too. Wan couldn't let his people suffer any more because of his choices.
"Arceus can I ask you something?" Wan asked Arceus. "Yes you can." Arceus said to Wan. "Is it possible to take everyone, but me, here with you when you travel back to your world?" Wan asked Arceus, surprising everyone. "You dare ask Arceus to take your filth kind with us. I should kill you this second for even su-." Giratina said to Wan, getting closer to Wan, but was interrupted by Arceus. "I would be happy to take them with us." Arceus said to Wan, surprising everyone. "WWWHHHAAATTT?!" Everyone that could speak, but Wan and Arceus yelled, even the creatures let out a roar of confusion.
"Arceus you can't be serious." Dialga said to Arceus. "Diaga's right. Humans are dangerous, violent, and they destroy everything they touch." Giratina said to Arceus as he moved away from Wan. "While that is true for most humans. It's not for these humans. They have spent years living in peace with Spirits and Creatures. When strangers entered their lands, they tried to teach them, and when those strangers started to attack them, they chose to run, not fight. And instead of cutting down the Wilds to make their homes, they build their homes into the Wilds." Arceus said to Giratina.
"True, but how do you know that they won't betray us?" Palkia asked Arceus. "Did you forget about the Spirits with them? Even when Vaatu's darkness turned all the Spirits into Dark Spirits. The ones around these Humans didn't change, they stayed in their light form. I'm sure it will be fine." Arceus said to Palkia.
"Here me Humans. I'm Arceus, the one who created everything. I offer you all a home on my planet. Where adventure and happiness awaits you all. And you get to stay with the Creatures, that you have connected your heart to." Arceus said to everyone. Soon everyone had happy looks on their faces. "Thank you Arceus ." Wan said to Arceus.
"You can't be serious. Humans are nothing, but trouble. They will only bring ruin to our kind." Giratina said to Arceus. "Or being out power that not even I knew we had." Arceus said to Giratina. "What are you talking about?" Scarlett asked Arceus. "Let me show you." Arceus said as an image of Charizard in the black form he was in when he battled Aye-Aye and Jaya's groups.
"I guess you weren't imaging Charizard transforming. But if he did transform, how or why did he change back?" Gene asked Arceus. "I don't know, but it's amazing. I'm used to knowing everything, but this, this surprised me. I believe that both of us, Humans and Creatures, can make something beautiful. What do you all say?" Arceus asked everyone. "We're in." Layla said to Arcues, as everyone then shook their head in agreement.
"Good, but before we go, know that our plant energy flow is different from yours. The power of the elements will become dormant and you will not be able to use them." Arceus said to everyone. "For a new home I think we can live without the elements." Jacob said to Arceus. "Are you sure? You use the earth element to see." Wan said to Jacob. "True, but I can always use a stick." Jacob said as he held out his hand and made a tree branch grow into his hand. Jacob then broke the branch off and made it a walking stick.
"I will miss this Plant power though. But who cares, adventures and a new home awaits for us Wan." Jacob said to Wan. "I'm afraid Wan must stay here." Arceus said to everyone. "What? Why?" Scarlett asked Arceus. "Wan and Raava, are one in the same, he must stay here." Arceus said to everyone. "But that's not fair. You give all of us a home in your world, but why not Wan?" Layla asked Arceus. "I'm sorry, but he needs to stay." Arceus said to layla.
"Then I guess we're staying too." Gene said to everyone. "Agree." Scarlett, Jacob, and Layla said to everyone. "No, our people need all of you. After all they need some Trainers like you four with them" Wan said to everyone. "Trainer, I like that title. But what about you? You'll be here all alone." Scarlett said to Wan. "I know, but it's for the best." Wan said to everyone. "But you won't be alone." Arceus said to Wan. "What?" Wan asked Arceus. "If Charizard wants to. He can stay with you." Arceus said to Wan.
"Charizard." Charizard said nodding his head yes. "He said yes." Arceus said to Wan. "Thank you Charizard." Wan said to Charizard. "Then let it be known Wan will stay here and keep the peace between Humans and Spirits with Charizard. While all of you and the Creatures you love will travel to my world and live among the Creatures you have bonded with." Arceus said before he started to glow a lind yellow light.
Soon everyone from the village, and every creature on the plant had a yellow outline and few into the sky. "Bye Wan will miss you." Jacob said to Wan, as he waved goodbye. "We'll never forget you." Gene said to Wan, as he waved goodbye. "You'll always be a part of our hearts." Layla said to Wan, as she waved goodbye. "And no matter where we are or how much time passes. We will always be a family!" Scarlett said to Wan, as she waved goodbye.
Wan said nothing, as he waved goodbye to everyone he ever knew, with a smile on his face and tears in his eyes. Everyone turned into balls of light and flew off into the night sky. Once the light had faded from view, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina started to leave, with Giratina giving Wan a mean look.
Soon only Wan, Arceus, Charizard and Mula were left. "You know three years ago Moltress came to me and told me about a human that was living change. I didn't believe him. But now I see, I was wrong. Your ideas have not only a forest, but two worlds. So what will you do now?" Arceus asked Wan. "I will be the bridge between the Human and Spirit worlds, and pray that my people are happy in your world." Wan said to Arceus. "And I'll be watching you, wondering what you're going to do next. But know this should you ever need your friends again. I will send them to help you." Arceus said to Wan, before he left.
Once he, Mula, and Charizard were alone, they all started to head to the Lion Turtle Wan was born on. On the way to the Lion Turtle Wan stopped at the forest his people hid in before leaving, and looked and thought about them. As he did, he noticed something by his feet. It was a bag. And in this bag was all the scrolls Layla drew of them practice with the elements. Wan took them so he could remember Layla and the others.
After that Wan made it to the Lion Turtle. But once he got there, he noticed that all the people that lived on the Lion Turtle were not on it, but standing in front of it's head. Wan moved his way to the front of the people with Mula and Charizard. "Great Lion Turtle what's going on?" Wan asked the Lion Turtle. "The world is entering a new age. Our time protecting mankind is over. We will no longer give Humans the power of the elements." The Lion Turtle said to the humans before leaving.
"Different Groups of people must learn to live together. This is the mission I made for myself. To use Raava's light spirit to guide the world towards peace." Wan vice said, as time passed. Showing battles, Wan hiding Layla's scrolls all over the world, and so much more.
But then came Wan's last battle. He was old, his hair all grey, wearing armor, and sitting next to an earth disc, with Charizad next to him, his head lying on Wan's lap. Charizard was covered in scars, and had two rock spikes piercing through his stomach. Charizard's tail flame was dieing down. "Charizard thank you for being my friend and standing by me." Wan said to Charizard, as he gave his oldest friend some pets. "Charizard." Charizard said to Wan, cracking a smile, before he let out his last breath, at the same time his tail flame died.
"I'm sorry Raava, I failed to bring peace. Even with Vaatu locked away, Darkness still surrounds Humanity. There wasn't enough time." Wan said to Raava, as he closed his eyes. "Don't worry. We will be together for all of your life times. And we will never give up." Raava said to Wan. "You got that right Raava." A voice that Wan though he never hear again said.
Wan used what strength he had to open his eyes, and saw Jacob, Gene, Layla, and Scarlett standing in front of him looking like they were when they were young, and all of them were glowing and had a green outline. "Scarlett, Jacob, Gene, Layla what are you all doing here?" Wan asked them. "Were waiting for you. After all, what kind of friends would we be if we went on ahead of you?" Jacob asked Wan. Wan said nothing he just cracked a smile. "Now come on. We all have work to do in our worlds." Scarlett said to Wan.
"Will I see you all again?" Wan asked everyone. "No, we will be born to our world, while you stay here. But we will always be friends, even if worlds and lives apart." Gene said to Wan. "So Wan, ready to go another round?" Layla asked Wan, as she stretched out a hand. Wan then reached for the hand, and as his physical hand fell to the ground, his spirit hand grabbed Layla's hand. Layla then helped Wan up, pulling his soul out of body, making Wan look like he was his young self again.
"We'll see each other again." Wan said as they started to break apart. "Count on it." Jacob, Gene, Layla, and Scarlett said to Wan, before completely fading away. Then the sound of five babies crying filled the air.
Eastern Air Temple
Lily started to get up wondering what that dream was, and why did she suddenly have it now. "Lily you okay?" Olivia asked Lily as she walked past Lily. "Uh yeah. Just a word dream." Lily said to Olivia, as she got up and walked to Olivia. "Want to talk about it?" Olivia asked Lily. "Nah, it was just a word dream." Lily said to Olivia, as they started to move.
Republic City Streets
Scarlett started to wake up in Mako and Bolin's apartment, when she noticed that she had a blanket over her. She turned her head to see Mako asleep in a chair across her. Zoey then got up and placed the blanket on Mako. "Thanks Mako." Zoey said to Mako, knowing that he couldn't hear her. Before getting back to work.
With Lucas he started to get up, with Bolin in the room, flexing his muscles in the mirror. "Well this dream keeps getting wired." Lucas said, getting Bolin's attention. "Lucas, you're awake." Bolin said to Lucas, as he gave Lucas a pat on the back. Lucas felt a pit of pain. "Well felt that. So this isn't a dream." Lucas said as he rubbed the back.
The Prime Dimension
All the legendaries and Dakota watched as Korra's eyes flashed white for a second. "I remember. I remember everything." Korra said to everyone. "Good. Now you know the story of the First Avatar and the First Trainers. Even though your story was forgotten by the people of both worlds." Arceus said to Korra.
"Arceus can I ask you a few questions?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Yes you can." Arceus said to Dakota."And that power Wan had with Charizard was Mega Evolution. Wasn't it?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Yes, a primal form of it. One that doesn't need a Mega Stone or Key Stone for it to work." Arceus said to Dakota.
"And those four with Wan, that was me, Lucas, Lily, and Zoey?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Yes." Arceus said to Dakota. "And their last names where, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, do that mean…?" Dakota asked Arceus.
"That those Regions were named after you. Yes. you see, after Humans started to live in our world. The call of adventure alored some of your people. Your and Lily's past lives traveled across the sea and found the Kanto and Johto regions, while Zoey's past life traveled the sea and found the Hoenn region. And Jacob stayed in Sinnoh, where it all started for the Human race. Of course that wasn't what they were called at first, but they were named after you four after your deaths." Arceus said to Dakota.
"I need a minute to process this." Dakota said to everyone. "That's not all you four have done. Though your memories of your time with Wan were gone. You still had them in your heart." Arceus said to Dakota.
"Now that you mention it, what was the blue spot on everyone's heart?" Korra asked Arceus. "That was the Avatar's connection to the Trainers. You see Korra, that connection is a life line. It allows the Avatar to live a long life, by having the Trainers, who have peaceful and safe lives, keep you alive when you all do something stupid. But over time the Trainers die and then the Avatar dies last." Arceus said to Korra.
"So wait, you're telling me that before Korra dies the rest of us have to die first?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Correct. You see every time the Avatar lives in danger your soul is used to keep her alive, but sometimes you have to give it all, this makes you four die first. But there is no pattern of which Trainer dies first, just the four Trainers before the Avatar. Then you all are born again at the same time." Aruces asid to Dakota. "Great those go my chance to live to my 30th birthday." Dakota said to everyone, as he crossed his arm. "Well at least we know why we all share the same birthday." Korra said to Dakota.
"That doesn't make me feel better." Dakota said to Korra. "Arceus could you tell Dakota more of what he and the others did for your world?" Korra asked Arceus. "Sure. Tell me Dakota does this sound familiar. A powerful person that uses multiple types, protected by four people that are masters of a single type. Who are they?" Arceus asked Dakota. "That sounds like the Elite Four and the Champion." Dakota said to Arceus. "What else?" Arceus asked Dakota.
Dakota then started to think. "Wan, Jacob, Gene, Layla, and Scarlett." Dakota said to Arceus. "Correct. You see while you four weren't the first. The Elite Four and Champion system is something you invented, you also made the Gym and Trail systems." Arceus said to Dakota. "Really." Dakota said to Arceus. "Yes, after all doesn't this sound familiar. A group of friends traveling and learning something from those who were the master of the elements?" Arceus asked Dakota.
"Wan and his friends, traveling to the other Lion Turtles." Dakota said to Arceus. "Correct. And that's not all you also made something for Korra's world." Arceus said to everyone. "And what was that?" Korra asked. "The basics of bending." Arceus said to Korra. "What?" Korra asked Arceus. "You see during his lifetime, Wan hid the scrolls Lily's past life made around the world. He trusted the air scrolls to the Sky-Bisons, the fire scrolls to the Dragons, the water scrolls at the North Pole, and the earth scrolls to the Badger-Moles. In time humans found these scrolls and in time, learned how to be benders." Arceus said to Dakota.
"That's so cool. No wonder you four can change your bending like you did with your water whip." Korra said to Dakota. "Wait a minute. The last thing You said to Wan, was that if he needed us, you would have sent us to help. So why didn't you send us to help Avatar Aang?" Dakota asked Arceus. Arceus sighed.
"That's complicated. You see as time passed the closed spirit portals, made Pokemon like Necrozma and Eternatus, and those who are related to them. And with Humans, Kyurem split and made Zekrom and Reshiram. But even after all that Korra's planet has done for us in improving or changing our planet. Most Legendary Pokemon didn't care about it. By the time of Avatar Aang, I was the only one watching. But then Aang disappeared and I stopped watching. But then a problem appeared so I looked for Aang. When I found him, he was still frozen, and I saw something that haunts me to this day and is the reason I was forgotten and hated by the people of Korra's world." Arceus said to everyone, as he lowered his head.
"You mean the 100 Year War." Korra said to Arceus. "Yes. I admitley brought this up with the rest of the Legendaries, but they were all angry. Saying that we should destroy the planet if not just the Fire Nation, let it pay for its crimes again life. But I still believe in the Avatar. But how could I help. I agreed with the Legendary Pokemon that this war torn world was no place for our kind and we would not send them to help." Arceus said to everyone. "What about us, why couldn't you send us?" Dakota asked Arceus.
"You four was dead." Arceus said to Dakota. "What?" Dakota asked Arceus. "As I told you earlier. Your four die first, then the Avatar follows. But Aang froze himself, for a 100 years. While he stayed young and perser in the ice. Time took you four." Arceus said to everyone. "So us dieing was the problem that appeared." Dakota said to Arceus. "Yes. you see every now and then Vaatu's darkness that's in the humans hearts would come out and cause trouble, but you four are always able to stop it or turn it. But it gets worse the longer you four are dead." Arceus said to Dakota.
"So the darkness of the Teams and the craziness me and Lucas had to deal with was actually Vaatu's dark energy that we left unchecked." Dakota said to Arceus. "Correct." Arceus said to Dakota. "But Giratina said that it was my fault how?" Korra asked Arceus. "Well for one Giratina is always looking for a reason to kill you. Every time one of your past lives mess up, he demanded we should kill you and have your soul trapped with Vaatu. But for why he said you're responsible for the Teams and the craziness. Is because I wouldn't allow a rebirth." Arceus said to Korra as he looked at Giratina.
"A rebirth?" Dakota asked Arceus. "You see Aang had lived past his time. He should have been dead like the rest of you. But he was the last Airbend on his planet. I failed to be there for his people when they needed me. I wouldn't fail him." Arceus asid to Dakota. "Wait what do you mean on the last airbender on his plant?" Korra asked Arceus. "You see like your world Korra, there are benders in my as well. But unlike you it's like a hidden trick. One that sleeps." Arceus said to Korra.
"So there are other airbenders in your world?" Korra asked Arceus. "Yes there is enough to repopulate the Air Nation." Arceus said to Korra. "That's so cool. How do we find them?" Korra asked Arceus. "Look for the people that are masters of Flying Type Pokemon or those that love Flying Type. They will be the easiest airbenders to find." Arceus said to Korra. "What does Flying Type have to do with it?" Dakota asked Arceus.
"You see while bending is dormant on my planet, you can not resist your element. Most of the time this makes a person's favor one type, like your friends Lana, Kiawe, Oivia and Hapu, all four of them are dormant benders. With Lana being a waterbend, Kiawe a firebender, and Hapu and Olivia are earthbenders." Arceus said to Dakota. "Ah Arceus you were telling them the story of Aang." Dialga said to Arceus.
"Oh right. Where was I? Oh right. With you four dead and we all agree not to send Pokemon. And I would not end him just to reset the circle. So I did the next best thing I could do. I placed your souls into Aangs." Arceus said to Dakota. "What? How? When?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Did you forget I'm Arceus, I can do anything. And when, it was. When Aang's soul was out of his body when Roku called him to his temple." Arceus said to Dakota.
"But how was placing the souls in Aang going to help him?" Korra asked Arceus. Arceus said nothing, but he opened another portal. In it was a young Aang, Katara, and Sokka hanging out by a river, practicing waterbending while Sokka was cleaning their sky-bison toes. "So like this?" Aang said as he made a giant title wave. "Aang!" Sokka said as he got washed off their sky-bison. Then the portal closed.
"You see Aang needed to win the war before the end of the summer, to help speed along his training. I bastily gave the power of two benders per element. This accelerated his training allowing him to learn everything faster and easier than the Avatars that came before him. But then we had a problem." Arceus said to everyone. "What problem?" Dakota asked Arceus.
"You see during a battle in Ba Sing Se the former Fire Nation princess Azula shot Aang with lightning. With the five souls in him. Aang was going to live, it would have taken some time for him to recover. But he would have been ready when he needed to be. But in fear of losing him, Katara used spirit water. It gave her admitted results in confirming he was alive, but it scrambled the souls. This blocked Aang's Avatar state." Arceus said to everyone.
"But Aang was able to use his Avatar state." Korra said to Arceus. "Yes by having his souls fuse with the others. You see Aang soul started to take in the souls of the others, freeing his Avatar state, but damaging the other souls." Arceus said to Korra. "What do you mean damage?" Dakota asked Arceus.
"You see thanks to that spirit water and Aang living his life. The five souls were on the edge of becoming one. So when Aang died I grabbed the soul before it was reborn and spent days trying to seperate them in a way that would allow them to live separately. But unfortunately the only way for the five souls to survive being separated was by letting the Avatar keep the bending." Arceus said to Dakota.
"What do you mean keep the bending?" Korra asked Arceus. "Korra do you know why you could bend three elements while you were still a very little kid, while Avatars like Roku and Aang could only use one?" Arceus asked Korra. "Cause I'm amazing." Korra said to Arceus. "No. Cause you still had the bending power of Lucas, Zoey, Dakota, and Lily. but since Aang was already a master of air. Lily bending was asleep. That is why you had such a hard time with Airbending, not only because it was your spiritual opposite, but also because it was asleep." Arceus said to Korra.
"So Korra had our bending. Then how can we bend now?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Your bending is a part of your body, but you can't gain energy the same way a normal bender would. You all can gain energy from bond with Korra. That friendship you all have with her is how it works. But you need to give your bending a jump start before it could work. Which is what happened on the day Amon died." Arceus said to Dakota.
"We had hoped that the battle with Amon would not only unlock your regular bending but also your plantbending." Xerneas said to Dakota. "Plantbending? You mean those tricks our past lives did with the grass during that final battle?" Dakota asked. "Yes. you see much like the Avatar is the only person who can bend all four elements. You four are the only one with the plantbending power." Arceus said to Dakota.
"But how can we both a regular bender, and a plantbender?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Plantbending is tied to your spirit, while you're bending is tied to the energy in your body, plantbending is tied to the energy in your spirit. But that's all I know about it. You made it right before you had to leave. So not even I know what you can do with it." Arceus said to Dakota. "Then happened to it? Why can't we do it? Did Korra get it as well?" Dakota asked Arceus.
"No you four have your plantbending. But the damage to your souls has buried it deep. It will take some time before it will come out. But we don't have time. Vaatu is coming and you need to fix what you have broken if you want to stop him." Arceus said to Korra. "Why?" Korra asked Arceus. "Cause of your pride, you cracked your bonds with our friends. These cracks are hurting them." Arceus said to Korra. "What do you mean hurting?" Korra asked Arceus.
"For Dakota, his bending is leaching away his strength, this is why he was on the verge of passing out when he helped you battle Eska and Desna. For Zoey the more she firebends the more angry she gets soon she will become a beast, for Lucas he's worried about you and get more worried every time he uses his earthbending, which he uses to fine you, and finally Lily everytime she airbends it hurts her, their no physical damage, but she feel it." Arceus said to Korra.
"But… I… I just… I can't…" Korra said to Arceus, not knowing what to say. Arceus sighed. "Everyone please leave me and Korra alone." Arceus said to the legendary Pokemon. They all nodded and left. "Dakota please go back to the Physical realm." Arceus said to Dakota. "Okay, but how?" Dakota asked Arceus. "Here let me help you." Arceus said as touched Dakota, Dakota then flashes yellow and disappeared.
"Now where alone so tell me why can't you fix your bonds?" Arceus asked Korra. "How can I face them? I said such hurtful things to them. I even hurt Lily just cause she was telling me what to do." Korra said to Arceus. "Do you know why Lily was telling you what to do?" Arceus asked Korra. "Because she forgot that we saved the city together." Korra said to Arceus. "No cause she knew Vaatu was coming. While you were getting healed by Katara, Lily and the others met with Giratina, and he told them that there was still a battle to come. Lily was only trying to help you master Airbending, not those air punches you do." Arceus said to Korra.
"So Lily was just trying to get me ready. But why didn't they say anything?" Korra asked Arceus. "That is something you have to ask them. But I know whatever you choose to do, where you go. Sooner or later, you will have to face Lily and own up what you've done. And if you need motivation, know that our original deal is still on. Which is that if Vaatu wins, your planet loses. Now it's time for you to go." Arceus said to Korra and touched Korra, making her disappear like Dakota.
The Unknown Island
Back at the Unknown Island Dakota as the first to wake up. He was still in the water with Korra. Then Korra shot up with her eyes glowing white. "Welcome back." Dakota said to Korra, as everyone above them looked down at them. "Do you know who you are?" The elderly woman asked Korra. Korra and Dakota then looked up. "My name is Korra. I'm the Avatar." Korra said to the elderly.
Soon the two of them got out of the water. "Well now that we're all better, we have to get going." Korra said to Dakota. "Your right, but how? Decidueye is the only Pokemon I have. And I get the feeling there isn't a radio here." Dakota said to Korra. "I think I can help you with that. Follow me." The elderly woman said to Dakota and Korra. The two and Decidueye then followed her.
"We've been raising this herd of air bison since the 100 Year War. I never thought I'd be able to present one to the Avatar." The elerdly woman said to everyone, as they exited the temple and found themselves standing in front of a herd of sky-bison that was grazing. "Thank you for all your kindness. I wonder how long me and Dakota have been away." Korra said to the elderly woman.
"That I cannot say, but you do not have much time left. The Harmonic convergence is only weeks away." The elderly woman said to Korra. "I have to close the Spirit Portal. Before that happens." Korra said to the elderly woman. "So we head back to Republic City. After all the Southern Spirit Portal was covered in Zoey's and Lucas's roots. We'll need them to help seal it." Dakota said to Korra.
"Maybe, but even if we get them. Getting to the Southern Spirit Portal will be hard. My uncle will have it protected with a small army. We can't fight our way in." Korra said to Dakota. "You don't want to fight?" Dakota said to Korra, with a shock look on his face. "Why do you sound so surprised?" Korra asked Dakota. "Need I remind you that we met after you challenged Amon to a fight." Dakota said to Korra.
"Dakota." Korra said to Dakota. "Okay, okay. But seriously. If fighting isn't your plan. Then what is it?" Dakota asked Korra. "We closed the portal from inside the Spirit World." Korra said to Dakota. "That could work, but I do have to mention one thing. You still struggle with your spiritual side. So how are you going to get to the Spirit World?" Dakota asked Korra. Korra then sighed.
"We need to go see Tenzin." Korra said to Dakota. This surprised Dakota. "You do know that means that you'll have to face Lily, fight?" Dakota asked Korra. "Yes." Korra asked Dakota. "Are you ready to face her?" Dakota asked Korra. "No." Korra said as she lowered her heads. "Well do you know where they are?" Dakota asked Korra. "Yes. They should be at the Easter Air Temple by now." Korra said to Dakota. "Good, that means you have some time to think about what you're going to say when we get there. Now let's pick out a sky-bison." Dakota said as they moved to the herd.
As they looked around the herd, Korra's attention fell to one young sky-bison, that was big enough to carry Korra, Dakota, and Decidueye, that was smelling some flowers. Korra walked to the sky-bison. The sky-bison noticed Korra but it didn't move. Korra then placed one of her hands on the sky-bison, and a flash of Lily smiling appeared in her head.
"Dakota let's take this one." Korra said to Dakota. "Why that one?" Dakota asked Korra. "I got a good feeling about this one." Korra said to Dakota. "Okay then let's go." Dakota said to Korra.
Soon they all got on the young sky-bison and took off. "Dakota, can I ask you something?" Korra asked Dakota. "Well since you have me riding this sky-bison, high in the sky, with no way to escape. Yes." Dakota said to Korra. "Why didn't you guys tell us, you knew about Vaatu Arceus said you all knew there was a battle coming. So why didn't you tell me?" Korra asked Dakota. "First we didn't know the problem was Vaatu. But the reason we didn't tell you was caused we didn't know when would be a good time. And when we learned about it was, when you were in pain from what Amon did to you." Dakota said to Korra.
"You still should have told me." Korra said to Dakota. "Yes we should have. But look at it from our prospective. If we told you about a big battle. You would have rushed off without completing your airbending training, to certain doom. And we cared about you. We didn't want to lose you. But we did. By you pushing us away." Dakota said to Korra. "I didn't push you away. You all left me. You all lost faith in me" Korra said to Dakota.
"We never, ever lost faith in you. But you lost faith in us." Dakota said to Korra. "I didn't." Korra said to Dakota. "Yes you did. You believe a stranger over us. A stranger that insulated your home the second he landed. The only reason you believed him over us was because we told you what we thought, while he told you what you wanted to hear." Dakota said to Korra. "That's not true." Korra said to Dakota.
"Yes it is. You put more faith in him then in the people you call your father and siblings." Dakota said to Korra. "But still Dad should have told me the truth, about his past, and for keeping me locked up in the south." Korra said to Dakota. "Have you thought about what your father must have felt?" Dakota asked Korra.
"What are you talking about?" Korra asked Dakota. "I mean look at it from his eyes. I tried to protect my home, only to destroy it. It would be no different than you burning down Republic city while trying to stop some criminals. And then when he finally gets a new life and has a family, his daughter, his only child, is chosen to fight the problems of the world risking her life. How would you feel?" Dakota sacked Korra. "Scared. Of both losing her, and her repeating my mistakes." Korra said to Dakota.
"Good now tell us how do you think the four of us felt these past few weeks?" Dakota asked Korra. "If I was Lucas, I would be worried that Korra would never come back, that I would never see her again. For Zoey, I would be angry, cause Korra has been ignoring me, when I try to tell her something is wrong. For you. I would feel disappointment, cause Korra placed her pride above everything else. And for Lily, I would be in a lot of pain. After all, the person who I tried to help, who I was looking out for, who made me laugh and smile, attacked me, cause she didn't like me trying to help her." Korra said to Dakota, before crying a little bit.
"What have I done." Korra said to Dakota, as she lowered her head. "You made mistakes, but it sounds like you are finally owning them." Dakota said to Korra. "And what does that mean?" Korra asked Dakota. "That it will take time for me to call you Sister again, but I'm willing to try and mend the bond if you are." Dakota said to Korra.
Korra then stopped crying. "I'd like that. After all, I'm going to need my friends to help save the world." Korra said to Dakota, holding out a fist. "You know it." Dakota said to Korra, as he gave her a fist bump. When the two fist met, their eyes glowed white and green for a second. "Huh I guess that means my bending is fixed?" Dakota adi as he looked at his hands.
"Then that's one down, three to go." Korra said to Dakota. "Yes, but Lucas and Zoey, will be the easy ones. The hard one will be Lily. so I'll ask again. Are you ready to face her?" Dakota asked Korra. "Yes." Korra said to Dakota, as they looked towards the horizon.
