Hello everyone. You see I went on vacation the last four days and couldn't work on anything major, so when I had some free time I made this chapter. And I'll be getting back to work on the next chapter today. Now onto Side Story 5.

Side Story 5

Vacation Pokemon Style

Republic City Air Temple Island

Everyone, but Asmai was outside the Air Temple, tired after a hard day's work in the blazing heat. "Why did we... think letting… Lin and Iroh... teach us... was a... good idea?" Lucas asked everyone having a hard time breathing, as they all laid down in some shade, trying to cool off. "Well... we were... in a rut... with Mako and Bolin. No... offence…" Zoey said to everyone. "None... taken." Bolin said to Zoey.

Then Asami walked to everyone. "Ruff day everyone?" Asami asked everyone. "Yes… what's new...?" Lucas asked Asami. "Well nothing new. I just learned I have to sell my family summer home on Ember Island." Asami said to everyone. Then everyone suddenly got a burst of energy and sat up. "Summer home on Ember Island?!" Korra asked Asami.

"Yeah we used to go there for a few days during the summer. It has a private beach. My dad even uses it for private parties. But that was before my mom died." Asami said to everyone. "Sorry." Korra said to Asami. "I have an idea!" Lily said to everyone. "What is it?" Korra asked Lily.

"Before Asami sells her summer home, let's use it. Let's have some summer fun. We can even invite Dakota to join us." Lily said to everyone. "Good idea, but how will we get away from our teachers?" Zoey asked Lily. "We'll ask them. I'm sure they will approve it." Lily said to everyone.

They did not. And now they were all in Korra's room. "I guess we're not going on a vacation." Bolin said to everyone. "No, we are still going." Lucas said to everyone. "But they said no." Bolin said to Lucas. "Forget what they said, we're all teens and it's summer. It's time we act like normal teens and have some fun." Lucas said to everyone.

"Great speech Lucas. But how will we get there?" Korra asked Lucas. "Did you forget we have a pilot and four flying Pokemon. We all pack light, and it shouldn't be a problem." Lucas said to everyone. "What about Dakota? We can't leave him out." Lily said to Lucas. "Then call him on the radio and tell him to meet us there. Will leave in a week. Asami, can you get some people to clean it before we get there?" Lucas said to Lily and asked Asami.

"Sure. I can do that." Asami said to Lucas. "Good now keep this between each other. We don't need Tenzin and the others don't need to know about this." Lucas said to everyone. "Our lips are sealed." Bolin said to Lucas. "I believe that if anyone but you said that." Lucas said to Bolin, before they started to move around.

Future Industries Airfield

A week later early in the morning, everyone was at Asami's Airfield with a plane ready to go, with each having a full backpack on their back, and with Dragapult, Garchomp, Altaria, and Golurk out with them. "Okay so we got everything and our Pokemon in their Pokeballs. So we're ready to go?" Lucas asked everyone. "Yeah, but won't Tenzin notice we're gone? Mako asked Lucas. "I already took care of that. I told Tenzin that we're going to have a training week. It took me a while to convince him. But he believes me." Lucas said to everyone.

"Then if everything is set let's get this vacation started." Asami said to everyone. "Bolin you take Garchomp." Zoey said to Bolin, as the trainers got on their Pokemons backs, at the same time Asami got into the pilot seat, and Korra and Mako got into the back seat. "Okay." Bolin said to Zoey, before getting on Grachomp's back, all the while Grachomp was making a noise that sounded like complaining. Then once everyone was ready they took off.

Ember Island

After flying for half the day, taking rest stops for the Pokemon, they made it to Asami's summer home. It had a similar look to the other buildings on the island, but it was pretty large, not as large as her mansion but still big enough for all of them.

Lucas and Bolin were the first to land. They then used their earthbending to make a runway for the plane. A few minutes later the rest of the group landed. "What kept you all." A voice said to everyone. Everyone turned to see Dakota standing behind them. "Dakota!" Lily said to Dakota, as ran and hugged him. "Hey Lily." Dakota said to Lily, returning the hug.

"Hey Dakota. You made it." Lucas said to Dakota. "Got here a few hours ago. You gotta check this place out." Dakota said to everyone, as he led them through the house.

There was a game room, a large dining area, lots of rooms, a nice beach, and a lush green area behind it. "Man, Asami you got quite the summer home here." Lucas said to Asami. "Yeah it will be sad when I have to sell it." Asami said to everyone. "Then let's make some great memories before that." Korra said to Asami. Asami nodded and they all went to the kitchen to make a feast. They talked, ate food, did food tricks and had a blast. They were at it until it was late. After that they went to bed.

The next morning Lucas was the last to walk up. "Man, what a night. So Dragapult, really for some fun?" Lucas asked Dragapult as he got up. But he didn't get a response. Lucas looked around and noticed everyone was gone. "I guess they all started their fun without me. But where's Dragapult? I thought the two of us were going to have fun together?" Lucas asked himself. Maybe the other how's where he is." Lucas said before leaving the room.

As Lucas walked through the house, he heard a pinging sound coming from one of the rooms. Lucas then walked into the room, to see Bolin playing ping pong with Rillaboom, with Chesnaught watching them with a chalkboard next to him with a R and B on it, with 10 marks under the R and nothing under the B.

"I see Rillaboom is ruling." Lucas said to Bolin. "Just wait, I can still win this." Bolin said to Lucas before serving the ball. Only for Rillaboom to hit it and make it pass Bolin. "Chesnaught." Chesnaught said to Bolin, as he placed another mark under the R making it 11.

"I doubt that Bolin. But have you seen Dragapult? Lucas asked Bolin. "No, I've been trying to beat Rillaboom." Bolin said to Lucas, as he severed another ball, only for Rillaboom to get another point. "Then I'll leave you to it." Lucas said to Bolin, before leaving the room.

Lucas then heard some rushing in another room. He opened the door to see the room covered in ice, cold air, with Vanilluxe and Ninetales playing. "Guess Dragapult isn't in here." Lucas said before closing the door.

Lucas then made his way outside, as he looked for the Dragapult. He noticed Orbeetle, and Decidueye sleeping in a tree. And Volcarona, and Toucannon eating fruit in another tree.

After passing them he made his way to the beach passing Golurk, who was sleeping on the edge of the beach. And noticed Coalossal and Haxorus in a small pool that was steaming, probably from Coalossal.

He then noticed Asami and Zoey in red swimsuits and sunglasses, sunbathing, with Serperior, Meowstic, Zoroark laying next to them. Lucas then walked to them. "Morning." Lucas said to everyone. "Well look who's up." Zoey said to Lucas, lifting up her sunglasses. "Hey Lucas what's up?" Asami asked Lucas, as she lifted up her sunglasses. "Have you seen Dragapult? We were going to play darts, but I can't find him?" Lucas asked them. Zoey and Asami looked at each other.

"Sorry Lucas, we haven't seen him today, but maybe the others have seen them. They should still be in the water." Asami said to Lucas. "Well thanks then." Lucas said to Asami, before leaving them, letting them get back to sunbathing.

Lucas then walked to the water where he saw Korra in a blue swimsuit, Mako in a red swimsuit, Dakota in a blue swimsuit, and Lily in a white swimsuit, splashing each other with water, with Garchomp and Dragalge swimming in the water helping Lily and Dakota splash Korra and Mako. "Hey not far." Korra said to Lily and Dakota. "We never said we couldn't use pokemon to help." Dakota said to Korra.

"I hate to interrupt you love birds, but have any of you seen Dragapult?" Lucas asked everyone, interrupting them. "No. Grapploct is under the water, but Dragapult isn't here." Korra said to Lucas. "Well, any idea where he is?" Lucas asked them. "Well Toxiricity did lead a group of pokemon into the backyard. So try there." Korra said to Lucas. "Thanks Korra." Lucas said before he turned around.

"Wait before you go. Can you ask Grapploct to help us?" Korra asked Lucas. "Sure. Grapploct, can you give Korra and Mako a tentacle?" Lucas said to Korra and asked Grapploct. "Grapploct." Grapploct said as he burst out of the water and splashed Lily and Dakota. "Thanks Lucas." Korra said to Lucas, before Lucas left, and they got back to their fun.

Lucas made his way to the backyard. And after looking around he heard Toxiricity guitar sound. He followed it to find Toxiricity rocking it out, with Lycanroc banging on a fallen tree, with Altaria and Chandelure dancing around. "Hey everyone, sorry to interrupt, but have you seen Dragapult?" Lucas asked them. But they all shocked their heads no. "Then do you know where he is?" Lucas asked them. But again they shook their heads no. "Okay then sorry for interrupting you all." Lucas said to them, before leaving and making the Pokemon get back to partying.

On the way back to the house, Lucas heard a galloping sound. Lucas turned his head to see Gogoat, and Zebstrika running towards them. "Oh Gogoat, Zebstrika, exploring the land?" Lucas asked them. They nodded yes. Then Lucas had an idea. "Hey if you two have been exploring the land, do you know where Dragapult is?" Lucas asked them. They nodded yes. "Then can you take me to him?" Lucas asked them. Gogoat then got down and allowed Lucas to get in her back. "Thanks Gogoat." Lucas said to Gogoat, as he got onto her back, and they took off.

A few minutes later they were by a different part of the breach, where Lucas finally found Dragapult, who was staring at the water. "Thanks Gogoat and Zebstrika." Lucas said to them, as he got off Gogoat. Then as Lucas walked to Dragapult, Gogoat and Zebstrika took off.

"Hey Dragapult. So this is where you have been." Lucas said to Dragapult. "Dragapult." Dragapult said, nodding yes. "So what are you looking at?" Lucas asked Dragapult, as he looked at the water. Lucas then noticed a few seashells in the water. "Oh, I get it. While waiting for me to wake up, you went on a fly and saw the shells shining in the water, and got hypnosis by them?" Lucas asked Dragapult.

"Dragapult." Dragapult said, looking away from Lucas. "Hey, it's nothing new from you. So how about we forget darts, and go seashell searching instead?" Lucas asked Dragapult. "Dragapult." Dragapult said liking that idea. Then the two of them started to look around, finding a few interesting shells.

Later that night, everyone was sitting around a campfire talking about their day. "I knew this vacation was worth it." Lucas said to everyone. "Was it?" A male voice said to them.

Everyone then turned around to see Tenzin standing behind them. "You all are in big trouble." Tenzin said to everyone. "Still worth it." Everyone said before they grabbed their stuff and left with Tenzin, who was mad with all of them.
