Hello everyone, very sorry for the wait. School work has been killing me, and I've had a hard time getting more than a couple hours of writing in a day.
So here's part 9.
Book Change Part 9
The Normal type Stake out
The Barrens
After following Aiwei trail they found themselves on the edge of a small clay made town. "Aiwei's definitely been through here. Nice tracking, Girl." Korra said to everyone, as they stopped at the city entrance, as she patted Naga.
"Let's ask around. Maybe someone's seen him." Mako said to everyone. "Let's ask around the bar first." Zoey said to everyone, as they got out of the car, and went into a bar, leaving their Pokemon outside.
Once inside Bolin saw a picture of him on the wall. "Ooh, look, they have movie poster of me. Must be big Nuktuk fans. Yeah. I should go over and say hello." Bolin said to everyone. But was stopped by Zoey slapping Bolin in the back of his head. "That isn't a movie poster. It's a wanted poster. And it's not just you. It's all of us!" Zoey said, turning Bolin to see the posters for him, Mako, Asami, Korra, Lucas, Dakota, Lily, and Zoey.
"Wanted by her majesty, The Earth Queen, for crimes against the kingdom. I'm guessing this is because we took her airbenders." Mako said to everyone. "They weren't hers to keep." Korra said to everyone. "In either case, I won't worry about that." Lucas said to everyone.
"Why?" Korra asked Lucas, as they noticed Lucas looking at the other wall. "Because Mewtwo is worth more than us." Lucas said to everyone, as he moved, revealing a wanted poster for Mewtwo. "Wanted for attacking the Earth Queen, and causing mass destruction. Reward… Whoa!" Asami said, reading the poster, and looking at the massive reward.
"Considering the Earth Queen put a reward like that for Mewtwo, and practically nothing for us, only a fool would go after us." Lucas said to everyone. "But what about their soldiers?" Mason asked Lucas. "Considering that the ones meant to help Korra, Asami, and their Pokemon with bandits, ran away at the sight of bandits. I don't think we'll have any problems with them." Zoey said to everyone.
"Uh, guys." Asami said, as they noticed everyone in the bar looking at them. "We should get out of here." Asami said, before they all left the bar, with Korra waving her hands in a "I'm watching you" way.
Zaofu
Back in Zaofu, Lin and Meowth were looking for everyone. "Where is everyone? Me and Meowth have been waiting to leave for half an hour." Lin asked Su, as she and Meowth walked up to her Bronzor. "And good morning to you too, Lin, Mewoth. Now, don't get mad. Korra's fine. I'm just waiting to hear if she tracked down Aiwei yet." Su said to Lin.
"What? You let Korra go? I thought we were on the same page about this, and then you stab me in the back?" Lin asked Su, getting angry. "Oh, don't be so overdramatic. You can't control the Avatar's every move." Su said to Lin. "I can try." Lin said, before stomping off, with Meowth following them.
The Barrens
In the desert, Naga was leading them through the barrens. Then stopped in front of a large rock. Korra then moved the rock, revealing Aiwei's car. Naga then nudged Korra. "Oh, Sorry. I forgot to bring treats. But good girl." Korra said to Naga, petting Naga's head. "This is why I always have some treats on me." Lucas said, pulling out a treat and feeding it to Naga.
Naga licked Lucas out of thank you, and hit Korra with her tail as she walked away, making Korra sigh. "This must be Aiwei's jeep. He can't be far." Asami said to everyone. "I think I know where he is." Zoey said, pointing to a nearby town. "If I'm right about where we are on this map, that's the Misty Palms Oasis." Mason said to everyone, looking at a map.
"Bolin and I will investigate The Misty Palms Oasis and see if he's holded up there." Mako said to everyone. "Yes, I love it when you talk like a cop." Bolin said to Mako. "I'm coming too." Korra said to Mako. "No. You, Asami, Lucas, Zoey, Mason, and the Pokemon wait here in case he comes back. Besides, we don't want to call too much attention to ourselves." Mako said to everyone.
"All right." Korra said to Mako. "Ooh. Mako, Mako, Mako, we should wear disguises and pretend we're going undercover. That way, no one will recognize us. Police work is so exciting." Bolin said, laughing a little. That's when Zoey hit Bolin in the back of his head. "Just put some hoods on, and no back stories. This isn't a movie." Zoey said to Bolin.
"You heard her. Let's just find Aiwei." Mako said to Bolin, giving Bolin a yellow poncho, and some goggles. "You're both no fun." Bolin said, as he and Mako put the pincho and goggles on, and started to walk to The Misty Palms Oasis.
A few minutes later, Mako and Bolin were in the town, with the spirits, a few people and Vibravas on the roofs watching them walk in. They stopped when they saw a man use a brom to get some spirits out of his place. "Shoo. Human customers only." the man said to the spirits. That's when a Vibrava landed next to the spirits, they got on it, and Vibrava took them away.
"Let's see if this guy knows anything." Mako said to Bolin, as they walked to the man. "Excuse me, sir. We're looking for a man about 60, balding, wearing glasses and a long green robe." Mako asked the man. "And he's got this weird piercing that goes from his nose to his ear. Freaks me out." Bolin said to the man.
"Yeah, sure. Sounds like a guy who came in last night. I told him I had the best drinks in the earth kingdom, and he called me a liar." The man said to Mako and Bolin. "That's him. Any idea where he is now?" Mako asked the man. "No, afraid not. But he was right. My drinks are terrible." The man said to Mako, before going inside.
Back with the others, while everyone was digging through Aiwei's car, with Korra and Treecko looking at the city. "Are you okay?" Asami asked Korra. "I'm just frustrated. What does Zaheer want with me? What's his plan?" Korra asked everyone. "We'll figure it out. We always do." Zoey said to Korra.
"And I think I found a clue." Asami said to everyone, as she pulled out a piece of paper. Everyone gathered around Asami, with Korra taking the piece of paper. "Xai Bau's Grove, sundown. This must be where and when Aiwei's going to meet Zaheer." Korra said to everyone, before Asami pulled out a map from the car.
"All right, Xai Bau's Grove, where are you?" Asami asked, looking at the map. But that's when sprists landed on the map. "Go away. I'm trying to find something." Asami said to the spirits, showing them away.
Back in town, Bolin was waiting outside, when he noticed a spirit. "Well, aren't you a cute little-" Bolin said, reaching out a hand, but stopped when the spirit bit his finger. "Ow! Hey!" Bolin said, before sucking his finger. That's when Bolin noticed a man looking at him. The man then tapped a woman, making her turn to see Bolin.
Then Mako walked out of a building. "No luck here." Mao said to Bolin. "I think there might be a couple bounty hunters over there who recognize me." Bolin said to Mako, as the man and woman started to walk to them. "We've been made. Let's lose 'em." Mako said to Bolin, before they started to run, with the man and woman following them.
They ran behind some crates, losing the man and woman. "Okay, I think we're clear. We should head back to Korra before someone else recognizes us." Mako said to Bolin, as Aiwei walked past them, Bolin noticed him, and Bolin pulled Mako to the wall.
"We could, or we could follow Aiwei instead. Look." Bolin said to Mako, pointing to Aiwei. That's when Mako noticed Aiwei. "All right, play it cool. Follow me lead." Mako said to Bolin, as he and Bolin started to follow Aiwei.
They followed Aiwei to an inn, and watched him go into a room. "Keep an eye on him. I'll go get Korra." Mako said to Bolin before leaving.
After a bit, Mako made it back to the others. "We found Aiwei hiding in an inn." Mako said to everyone. "That's great." Korra said to Mako. "We found something too. It looks like he's going to meet Zaheer at Sundown. At a place called Xai Bau's Grove, But I can't find it anywhere on the map." Asami said to Mako, handing him the paper.
"We think it's some kind of code for a different location, but we still can't figure it out." Zoey said to Mako. "I think it's time we call Su for back up. If he's meeting with Zaheer then we'll need help." Mason said to everyone.
"No! Let's go bust Aiwei's door down and finally get some answers." Korra said to Mason. "No, once Aiwei knows we're on to him, we lose our advantage. I say we stake out his room, and when he leaves for this meeting, we follow him." Mako said to Korra. "And he'll head us straight to Zaheer." Korra said to everyone.
"But shouldn't we call and let Su know about this?" Mason asked. "No. Now come on." Korra said, dragging Mason away, and everyone returning their Pokemon to their Pokeballs.
Soon they were all at the front desk of the inn, with Naga, Pabu, Treecko, Fennekin, Scorbunny, and Numel outside playing with some spirits, and Vibrava. "Good afternoon. We like a room on the ground floor across from 10, please." Mako asked the old lady maining the front desk. "Forget it. Last time a bunch of teenagers came in here, they trashed the whole room." the old lady said to Mako.
"We found you." a very tough male voice said. That made everyone turn around to see the man and the woman chasing Mako and Bolin earlier showed up. This got everyone, but Mason, ready to fight.
"Hey, no bending in here. Take it outside." the old lady said to everyone. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. We're not here to fight you. We're here to meet Nuktuk." The man said to everyone, as the woman pulled out a movie poster. "We're your biggest fans. Could you make it out to Lily and Macao?" the woman asked Bolin, holding a pen.
"Uh, I'd be happy to. Always love meeting my fans. Lucas, can you have Grapploct come out?" Bolin said to the woman and Lucas. "Uh, sure." Lucas said, letting out Grapploct.
Bolin and Grapploct then started to sign the poster, with the woman getting too close to them, making Bolin and Grapploct nervous. Then the woman took out a doll of Bolin and Grapploct in their Nuktuk movie costumes. "I made this Nuktuk and Noble Water Spirit doll for you two." The lady said to Bolin and Grapploct.
"Aw, it's cute." Bolin said, still nevroused. "Grapploct." Grapploct said, not like this. "Why didn't you tell me your friend was a movie star? I'd be happy to rent you any room in the inn." The old lady said to everyone. "We'll just take the one across from 102." Mako said to everyone. "But that room is too small for the seven of you." the old lady said to Mako. "Trust me. It'll be perfect." Mako said to the old lady.
A few minutes later, they were all in a cramped room, with Grapploct back in his Pokeball. "I'd just like to state for the record that this room is not perfect." Bolin said to everyone, not happy with this, and getting hit by Naga's tail. "Naga!" Bolin said, spitting out some hair.
Meanwhile Korra, Mako, and Zoey were looking out the room's window, and saw Aiwei looking out his window. "There he is." Korra said to everyone. "I thought stakeouts were supposed to be exciting. This isn't at all." Bolin asked everyone, trying to walk around the room.
"Only at the end, for now it's the long waiting waiting game." Zoey said to Bolin, before Bolin noticed the drawers in the room. "Ooh, I wonder if there's any snacks in here." Bolin said, as he looked through the drawers. And he found a Pai Sho game.
"Hey, look! A Pai Sho Board. Mako, you want to play?" Bolin asked Mako. "Kind of busy here, bro." Mako said to Bolin. "I'll play." Asami said to Bolin. "Oh, well… No offense, but I learned street Pai Sho from Shady Shin, and I am pretty good, so it wouldn't really be a fair game." Bolin said to Asami.
"So? I learned to play from my dad, the diabolical genius. I'll destroy you." Asami said to Bolin. "And I'm pretty good. I'm sure I can bet both of you, and Tenzin teached me a few things." Lucas said to Bolin.
"Well, it looks like we have ourselves a Pai Sho-down." Bolin said to everyone. "And to make it far, Mason will play, so it's a four player game." Lucas said to everyone. "I'm what?" Mason asked, as Asami, Bolin, and Lucas set up the board, and Numel, Fennekin, Treecko, Scorbunny, Pabu, and Naga watched them.
"Ladies first." Bolin said to Asami, when the board was ready. Asami made her move. Bolin made his move. Then Lucas made his move. Mason then made a move. Then they all took a turn again. But when it hit Asami's turn, she had to think about it. "I don;t want to rush you, but let's speed things up a bit." Bolin said to Asami.
"Why? This game is all about slow, methodical strategy." Asami said to Bolin. "No, it's not; this is a fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat game of chance. Don't think just go." Bolin said to Asami. "Tenzin taught me that Pai Sho is a calm game, where you go with the flow." Lucas said to everyone. "But Su taught me that Pai Shi was a game of tricksters and traps, where you trick your opponent into defeating himself." Mason said to everyone.
"I don't know what Shady Shin, Tenzin, or Su taught you all, but it wasn't Pai Sho." Asami said to Bolin. "Oh, really? I think our friend mr. rule book might disagree with you." Bolin said, pulling out the roll book from the drawers.
"The origins of Pai Sho date back over 10,000 years. It's a game of both strategy and chance, where you have to go with the flow, and set traps." Bolin said to everyone, reading the book. "So we're all right?" Mason asked. "Wait, how could it be both?" Bolin asked. "Let me see that." Asami said, taking the rule book.
"There have been countless variations of Pai Sho through the centuries, and each culture has its own rules and variations of the game." Asami said, reading the rules. "That's no help at all. Korra, as the Avatar, You need to standardize these Pai Sho rules." Bolin said to Korra.
"Okay. I'll put that on my to-do list. Right after "bringing back the Air nation, figuring out what to do with all the Pokemon, and taking down the group that tried to kidnap me." Korra said to Bolin. "That's cool. Whenever you get to it." Bolin said to Korra. "Assuming we do find Zaheer, what then?" Mako asked Korra.
"Then I make him talk." Korra said to Mako. "I doubt that will happen." Zoey said to Korra. "Why?" Korra asked Zoey. "He was locked away for 13 years, Korra, and never broke. I don't think a little bending is going to intimidate this guy." Mako said to Korra. "You have a better idea?" Korra asked Mako.
"Yeah, we spy on them. If Aiwei and Zaheer don't know they're being watched, they'll talk freely. Then we'll know who they are and what they want." Mako said to Korra. "That's just like Pai Sho. in order to defeat your opponent, you first have to know your opponent." Bolin said to everyone, reading the book.
"Then I guess I know you pretty well. I won." Asami said to Bolin. "Against him maybe, but in winning against Bolin, I win against all of you." Mason said, as he made his move, betting everyone. "What?" they all asked, before goraning. "Like I said, I just had to set a trap for you all."
"All right, all right. You know what? That was just a fluke. Best two out of three." Bolin said to everyone. They played a few more games, with Asami and Lucas winning a round. But then Mason won again. "Looks like I won the game." Mason said to everyone. "Oh, come on! Best four out of seven." Bolin said.
They played even more, with Asami, Lucas, or Mason winning the rounds, Bolin winning none of them and asking for more rounds. All the while the animals and Pokemon watched them play. And Korra, Mako, and Zoey watched Aiwei's room. This was how it was for the rest of the day.
Then, as the sun started to set, Bolin was finally on the edge of winning. "Looks like you're on the ropes this time." Bolin said to everyone. "I can't believe it. You might actually wing this one." Asami said to Bolin. But that's when Pabu came down on the bord, with the dolls in his mouth, and ruined the game.
"No, Pabu! Why?" Bolin asked, as he laid on the floor and Pabu distorted the doll that looked like Bolin. "Do you want us to really answer that?" Lucas asked Bolin. "Please don't." Bolin said to Lucas.
"If you are done with your games, we have something to talk about." Zoey said to everyone. "And that is?" Lucas asked Zoey, as everyone stood up. "It's almost sundown. Why hasn't he left yet?" Korra asked everyone. "Maybe he slipped out when you weren't looking." Asami said to Korra. "No, me and Zoey, just saw him peeking out the window 15 minutes ago. It's in our logbooks." Mako said to Korra, as he and Zoey held up tiny books.
"I'm going over there." Korra said, leaving the room. "Korra, wait. You're gonna blow our element of surprise." Mako said to Korra. "I don't think she cares." Zoey said to Mako, as they all went after Korra.
They went after Korra, but it was too late, Korra kicked open Aiwei's door. "It's over Aiwei. Where's-. What?" Korra said, before noticing Aiwei meditating on the bed. That's when everyone else entered the room.
"That's a weird way to nap." Bolin said to everyone, looking at Aiwei. "He's not sleeping. He's meditating. Wait. Asami, Lucas, Zoey, Mason, those spirits were trying to tell us something earlier. Xai Bau's Grove isn't on the map or some code because it's not in the physical world. It's in the Spirit World." Korra said to everyone.
"That would be a good place to meet. This way, there is no chance of anyone finding either side, and no chance of being listened to." Zoey said to everyone. "I'm going in after him." Korra said to everyone. "I'll go with you." Lucas said to Korra, as they sat on the bed.
"We'll watch him in case he wakes up. Be careful." Mako said to Korra and Lucas. "Let's do this." Lucas said, as he and Korra said to meditate.
Spirit World
A few seconds later, Lucas and Korra were in the Spirit World, in what looked like a grove of autumn trees. "So this is the Spirit World. I gotta say, this place is better than the portals." Lucas said to Korra. "Come on." Korra said, as she started to move, with Lucas following her.
A few minutes later, they found Aiwei standing by a tree. Korra tried to ambush Aiwei, but that's when Lucas pulled her behind a tree. That's when Zaheer showed up. "What happened back in Zaofu? You told me we wouldn't have any problems getting the Avatar and the others. And yet, P'li was hurt, my staff was destroyed, and we barely got away. Because of you we've all been compromised." Zaheer said to Aiwei.
"No, any evidence was destroyed when my library burned." Aiwei said to Zaheer. "Where is your physical body now?" Zaheer asked Aiwei. "At the Misty Palms inn. But there is no need to worry. I was not followed." Aiwei said to Zaheer. "You left a loose end." Zaheer said to Aiwei.
"I assure you no one knows anything about us." Aiwei said to Zaheer. "No, you are the loose end." Zaheer said to Aiwei, grabbing Aiwei. "Zaheer!" Korra said, making Zaheer notice her. "Well there goes our cover." Lucas said, before Zaheer and Aiwei disappeared. "And Zaheer." Lucas said.
Zaheer and Aiwei then reappeared on the edge of the fog of lost souls. Zaheer tossed Aiwei into the fog of lost souls, before disappearing. But after Zaheer disappeared, Aiwei glowed dark Blue, and broke apart into particles, disappearing as well.
Zaheer appeared in front of Korra and Lucas. "It seems Aiwei was mistaken. He was followed." Zaheer said to them. "That's right. We knew he'd lead us straight to you. So what did you do with him?" Korra asked Zaheer. "He'll be spending eternity in the fog of lost souls, which just leaves the three of us." Zaheer said to everyone, as took a step.
"Don't move Zaheer. You're gonna give me some answers." Korra said to Zaheer, getting ready to fight. "There's no need for aggression. None of us have our bending, and I'm not going anywhere. I'll answer whatever questions you two have. You two deserve that much." Zaheer said to Korra and Lucas, before sitting down.
"What's that catch?" Lucas asked Zaheer. "No catch. What would you two like to know?" Zaheer asked Korra and Lucas. "First off, who are you people, and why do you keep trying to take me?" Korra asked Zaheer. "We are part of a secret society dedicated to restoring freedom not only to the world but the cosmos. We are the Red Lotus." Zaheer said to Korra and Lucas.
"Red Lotus? Are you related to the White Lotus?" Korra asked Zaheer. "We are what the White Lotus should have been, but after the Hundred year war, The White Lotus lost its true purpose. Its members came out of hiding and openly served the Avatar. They became nothing but glorified bodyguards who served corrupt nations, so a great man named Xai Bau broke from the White Lotus and began his own society." Zaheer said to Korra.
"That's a great story, but it doesn't explain why you tried to take me when I was a kid." Korra said to Zaheer. "Or what, you mean by "should have been"?" Lucas asked Zaheer.
"To understand that, you must know that while most White Lotus nowadays don't know this. But before the hundred years war, the White Lotus were actually Arceus followers. Keeping the peace in secret for him. But then the hundred war started and their faith was shaken. The White Lotus let things happen, believing it was Arceus' will. The white lotus could have ended the war shortly after it started, but with no Avatar or word from Arceus, they did nothing." Zaheer said to Korra.
"And the kidnapping of Korra?" Lucas asked Zaheer. "That was Unalaq's idea." Zaheer said to Lucas. "What? My uncle was part of the Red Lotus?" Korra asked Zaheer.
Unknown location
Meanwhile in a cave in the middle of nowhere, Ming-Hua, Ghazan, and P'li were waiting for Zaheer to come back. "Avatar Korra. Trainer Lucas. Misty Palms Inn. Find them." Zaheer said, with his soul still out of his body. "You two go. I'll stay here and make sure Zaheer's body is safe." P;li said to Ming-Hua and Ghazan, before Ming-Hua and Ghazan left.
Spirit World
Back in the Spirit World, Korra and Lucas were sitting, listening to Zaheer. "I met your uncle when I was a teenager after we had both joined the Red Lotus. We Learned about Raava and Vaatu and how Avatar Wan foolishly severed them, disrupting the balance of the world forever." Zaheer said to Lucas and Korra.
"Avatar Wan wasn't foolish." Korra said to Zaheer. "To be fair he did make a mistake, and from what I saw, it wasn't that crazy for Wan to think Raava was bad. She did have a nasty attitude towards him, and Vaatu was begging for help." Lucas to everyone. "He was trying to restore balance after that." Korra said to Zaheer.
"He closed the portals, severing humans from spirits. Even you realize the error in his ways." Zaheer said to Korra. "Wan did what he thought was right. Plus in his time, humans and Spirits keep trying to kill each other." Lucas said to Zaheer. "So all along, you and my uncle planned to use me to open the portals and release Vaatu? That's why you tried to take me when I was a kid?" Korra asked Zaheer.
"Yes, and with members of the Red Lotus as your elemental masters, we could've taught you so much." Zaheer said to Korra. "I doubt that." Lucas said to Zaheer. "And you say that why?" Zaheer asked Lucas.
"Because the spirit portals were wrapped in roots, and I saw Korra try to burn them, and they just healed themselves. Plus from what Eska and Desna told me, the roots fight back. So you couldn't open the portal even with all your crazy bending. And I don't think Arceus would have let you get away with kidnapping Korra. After all he's the one that ratted you out, and that's why they were ready for you. Even if you got Korra, Aruces would have taken her way, maybe to our world, and out of your reach." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"So Arceus would have stood in our way of training the Avatar. "Sounds like you wanted to brainwash me so I do whatever you wanted." Korra said to Taheer. "No, Korra. All I wanted was to show the Avatar a better path for the world." Zaheer said to Korra.
The Misty Palms Oasis
Back in the Inn, everyone was waiting, when Mako noticed something outside. He focused and saw Ming-Hua and Ghazan outside. "Uh, I don't know how, but Water Arm Lady and Lava guy found us." Mako said to everyone. How? Asami asked. "I just said I don't know how." Mako said to Asami. "I think I have an idea how." Zoey said, looking at Aiwei.
"Korra, Lucas, come on, wake up." Bolin said to them, shaking them. But nothing happened. "What do we do?" Asami asked everyone. "Get Korra out of here." Mako said to Asami, putting Korra's body on Naga.
"And Lucas?" Zoey asked Mako, as Asami, Treecko, and Fennekin got on naga's back. "Take him and go with Asami and Korra. Keep them safe" Mako said to Zoey. "Fine. And with Asmai, Korra, Treecko, and Fennekin riding Naga, Zebstrika, we need a ride." Zoey said, letting out Zebstrika, and getting on his back with Lucas. "Bolin, Mason, Numel, Scorbunny and I will hold them off." Mako said to everyone. "Why do I always get the short straw." Mason said, as they got ready to fight.
Then Mako opened the door, and Nage and Zebstika bolted out of the room, getting Ming-Hua's attention. "The Avatar and the others." Mong-Hua said, as she got ready to attack. "Guess this is happening. Aggron, come out, and use Earthquake to shake things up." Mason said, as he let out Aggron.
"Aggron." Aggron said, stomping his foot, causing the ground to shake, making Ming-hua and Ghazan fall to the ground. Then Mako and Bolin fired a fire blast and a rock wave at them, making Ming-hua and Ghazan jump back and stand up. Ghazan then turned Bolin's rock wave into Lava, making a splash, and making them all jump back.
"Just how dangerous can they be? Aggron. Clear the Rock from your body and become pure mighty Steel. Mega Evolve!" Mason said, as he touched the Keystone, as three beams of energy flowed out of the key stone. "AGGRON!" Aggron roared as three energy beams came out of the white and grey core attached to the base it's tail. The three energy beams connected and made Aggron glow silver.
Aggron started to grow, becoming even more massive, with the horn on his head flipping up, his bumps on his shoulders grew longer, and blades popped out of his wrist. Then the light faded, showing off his new very thick silver armor. "Oh, This is going to be interesting." Ghazan said to everyone, getting excited.
Spirit World
Back in the Spirit World, Korra and Lucas were still talking to Unalaq. "If my uncle came up with a plan to abduct me when I was a kid, why wasn't he caught?" Korra asked Zaheer. "He wasn't with us that night, and he covered up his involvement afterwards." Zaheer said to Korra.
"So he betrayed you just like he betrayed me." Korra said to Zaheer. "Yes, he allowed me and my friends to remain imprisoned while he pursued his own selfish goals. Unalaq becoming a Dark Avatar was never part of our mission." Zaheer said to Korra. "Your mission no. But it's definitely his." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"And what is your mission exactly?" Korra asked Zaheer. "I want what you want, to Restore balance to this world." Zaheer said to Korra. "I don't think our ideas of balance are the same." Korra said to Zaheer. "Are you sure about that? You kept the spirit portals open, but why stop there? Bringing back the spirits back should only be the beginning." Zaheer said to Korra.
"What do you mean?" Korra asked Zaheer. "The idea of having nations and governments is as foolish as keeping the humans and spirit realms separate. You have to deal with a moronic president and a tyrannical queen. Don't you think the world would be better off if leaders like them were eliminated?" Zaheer asked Korra.
"So you want to kill everyone on the planet?" Lucas asked Zaheer. "No, just the leaders of nations!" Zaheer said to Lucas. "I'll say it again. You want to kill everyone." Lucas said to Zaheer. "Why do you keep saying that?" Zaheer asked Lucas.
"Because for someone who talks about balance, he clearly doesn't know how it works." Lucas said to Zaheer. "Then tell me how it works?" Zaheer asked Lucas. "Good and bad, positive and negative, and joy and pain. We can only truly know good, positive, and joy, after knowing bad, negative, and pain. This means, while the Earth Queen and President Raiko might be headaches, we can only see if they were truly bad or good, when whoever takes their place next does something." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"What if there is no one that will take their place." Zaheer said to Lucas. "That's why I said, your plan is to kill everyone. There will always be someone that will take the throne that is leadership. For example, if you kill the Earth Queen, chances are, someone just like her will rise up, conquer the Earth Kingdom, and it will be because the people are sick and tired of living in the madness you gave them." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"Korra what do you think?" Zaheer asked Korra. "I mean, I don't really agree with what they've done, but taking out world leaders isn't the answer." Korra said to Zaheer. "It wasn't too long that the airbenders were nearly all whipped out thanks to the Fire Lord's desire for world dominance. True freedom can only be achieved when oppressive governments are torn down." Zaheer said to everyone.
"Once again, you're wrong. True freedom isn't the ability to do whatever you want. It's the ability to choose." Lucas said to Zaheer. "And removing governments will do that." Zaheer said to Lucas. "Wrong. With governments gone, what's stopping me from kidnapping a bunch of ladies and locking them up, using them for fun. Or from me killing everyone I see for silly reasons. In those cases I take the freedom of others for no reason then me being a monster." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"You're lying." Zaheer said to Lucas. "I'm not. Without someone setting laws, madness and culity rain, not freedom. Sure the governments need to change, but killing the people in charge is not the way to freedom. Only to madness and death." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"Lucas is right. That won't bring balance, it will throw the world into chaos." Korra said to Zaheer. "Exactly. And when that happens. Arceus will reveal himself, and we can finally kill him." Zaheer said to everyone. "Kill Arceus!? Are you mad!?" Lucas asked Zaheer.
"Why do you want to kill Arceus?" Lucas asked Zaheer. "The natural order is disorder. Arceus keeps things in the state he commands, not allowing new things to grow. Do you know who once said "new growth cannot exist without first the destruction of the old"? Zaheer asked everyone. "No." Korra said to Zaheer. "The Wise Guru Laghima, an airbender." Zaheer said to Korra, surprising Korra.
"So a random guy knew some Kalos philosophy, big deal. It's not like you know what that means." Lucas said to Zaheer, surprising Zaheer. "And you do?" Zaheer asked Lucas. "More or less. It is true that sometimes a tree must fall for new things to grow. But there's a difference between a tree falling naturally and you cutting it down." Lucas said to Zhaeer. "Meaning?" Zaheer asked Lucas.
"Meaning that if you destroy a government, you'll cause a lot of damage before there's even a little bit of good. But if the government falls apart naturally, then it was just it's time. Look at the Fire Nation, even after Aang won against the Fire Lord the war could have still gone on, but the new Fire Lord chose to let it end, ending its war government in the process. But if we ended the war your way, with killing everyone who could have sat on the Fire nation throne, it would end with the Fire Nation going on a rampage, because no one can tell them to stop fighting, and in the end, ending the Fire nation is the only way to stop them. In both cases the governments fell, but your way will lead to much more pain then the natural way could." Lucas said to Zaheer.
The Misty Palms Oasis
Back at the inn, Mako and Scorbunny were running around on a roof, dodging Ming-Hua's attacks, leading to them jumping off the roof. "Scorbunny use Quick Attack." Mako said, as he fired a fire blast. Min-Hau countered Mako's fire blast, making a steam cloud. "Scorbunny." Scorbunny said, as he moved at high speed, and hit Ming-Hua in the head. But that only gave her a headache.
Ming-Hua fired a water claw at Scorbunny. Scorbunny dodged and moved to Mako, where Ming-Hua attacked them with a few more water whips. But Mako and Scorunny doged Ming-Hua by jumping off the roof. Ming-Hua followed them.
With Bolin and Numel, they were having a hard time blocking or dodging Ghazan lava attacks. "Numel use Flame Burst." Bolin said to Numel, firing a rock wave. "Numel." Numel said, as he fired a small burst of flames at Ghazan. But Ghazan turned Bolin's rock wave into lava, snuffing out Numel's Flame Blast. "We can't beat this guy. It's like I'm giving him ammo, and Numel's attacks aren't getting snuffed out" Bolin said, as he formed a rock wall, blocking Ghazan's attacks.
"We need a game changer." Mason said, before looking around and noticing the metal pool ladder. "Maybe." Mason said, as he metal bended the pool ladder up, broke it apart, reforged it into a few rough metal balls, and started to spin them.
Mason then bend the metal balls, moving around like comets, hitting Ghazan and Ming-Hua, covering them in scratches. Ming-Hua and Ghazan used their bening to force Mako, Bolin, Scorbunny, and Numel back. "How annoying." Ming-Hua said as she fired a few ice spikes at Mason.
But Mason made the metal ball hit the ice spikes, and the metal balls broke the ice spikes. "Aggron, Earthquake again." Mason said to Aggron. "Aggron!" Aggron said, stopping his foot. But Ming-Hua and Ghazan stood their ground. Then mason made the metal balls hit Ming-hua and Ghazan, heard, leaving brush.
"They're not bad." Ghazan said, as he lava bend a burst of Lava from the ground, metaling most of the metal balls. "Not good. Aggron, use Aceral Ace then use Heavy Slam." Mason said to Aggron, as he made the metal balls swarm around Ming-Hua and Ghazan like flies.
"Aggron." Aggron said, as he disappeared, and reappeared behind Ghazan, hitting Ghazan, and making Ghazan crash into Ming-Hau. Aggron then jumped up, and came crashing down on them, making a crater. Aggron then jumped out of the ceater, leaving a very bruised and hurt Ghazan and Ming-Hua laying in the crater.
"Nice work Mason!" Bolin asked Mako. but before Mako could respond, Ming-Hua was able to weave her water whip to Mako and Scorbunny, freed one of their feet, and threw them into a room. That's also when they got up. "Oh come on! That should have stopped them!" Mason said
Then Ghazan tried to make the ground under Aggron and a good cunch of the ground around him turned into Lava. "Aggron, return!" Mason said, returning Aggron to his Pokeball, before the lava burst. But before Mason could let Aggron out of his Pokeball, Ming-Hua froze him in a block of ice.
Bolin noticed this, and tried to trap Ghazan in rocks. But Ghazan not only turned the rocks into lava, but tossed lava rocks at Numel and Bolin. And while Bolin was able to dodge the lava rocks, Numel was hit and was sent flying into a wall.
Bolin then jumped into the water, trying to avoid the lava rocks. And while that part worked, being in the water made it easy for Ming-Hua to bend a water bubble around, trapping Bolin.
"Go get the Avatar and her friends. I have these three and their creatures under control." Ming-Hua said to Ghazan. Ghazan said nothing and went after Korra, Asami Zoey, Lucas, and their Pokemon. Ming-hua then used her waterbending to raise Mako, Bolin, Mason, Scorbunny, and Numel into the sky, and unfroze Mason's head, and let Bolin breathe from the water bubble.
With Asami and Zoey, they were riding off, when two stone pyramids appeared around them, trapping them, then one massive stone pyramid appeared around them, completely trapping them.
Spirit World
Back in the Spirit World, Korra and Lucas were still talking to Unalaq, with Unalaq getting annoyed with Lucas talking back to him. "You know, being locked away from so many years, I was beginning to lose hope, But when I awoke with Airbending, I knew I would be the one to destroy the old ways and plant seeds for a new world to flourish." Zaheer said to everyone, standing up.
"Sure, I hear the blood of innocent people is very rich in minerals. I'm sure all the very bad people that you hate will love the world you'll make for them." Lucas said to Zaheer, getting under Zaheer's skin. "Will you stop insulting my beliefs?!" Zaheer said to Lucas. "Hey, you're the one who's goals don't match your ideas. Don't blame me." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"Zaheer, please, as an airbender, you could help make a positive difference in the world instead of destroying it. And trying to kill Arceus." Korra said to Zaheer. "Yeah, why do you want to kill him anyway?" Lucas asked Zaheer.
"How long have we bowed to Arceus' rules? He does nothing but sit on his throne like a tyrant and he's weak like one. I'm sure that me and my friends can easily kill a beast like him." Zaheer said to everyone, causing Lucas to laugh out loud very loudly.
"What's so funny?" Zaheer asked Lucas. "You! You think you and your three friends can beat Arceus. Oh that's so funny." Lucas said to Zaheer. "So you don't think we can beat that weakling?" Zaheer asked Lucas, as Lucas stopped laughing.
"Don't confuse lazy with weak. Arceus may not be active like the others. He may not always tell us everything, like how Unalaq was a friend of yours and that he planned the kidnapping. And he does things we don't agree with. But Arceus is no tyrant. He made the other Legendary Pokemon so things could be better. He made every Pokemon have a role in nature, but gave them the freedom to live how they want to. And when we needed him, he was there for us. Tell me Zaheer, while rotting in your cell, where were your friends, where was your chaos. You got out because of luck, not because you're some chosen one." Lucas said to Zaheer.
"Despite being brainwashed by Arceus, you're both very smart young adults, Korra and Lucas. With You Lucas being quite the philosopher for an Earthbender. But you must realize that once change begins, it cannot be stopped. Even by the Avatar and her friends." Zaheer said to them.
"How many times are you going to be wrong Zaheer? You haven't changed anything yet, and what makes you think you'll bring anything good with your chaotic ways." Lucas said to Zaheer.. "Both of you enough with your philosophical mumbo jumbo. I want to know one thing. If you do capture me, what are you gonna do with me?" Korra asked Zaheer.
You'll have that answer soon enough. The Red Lotus should have you two, and your friend Zoey by now. See you in the Physical world." Zaheer said to Lucas and Korra. "I wouldn't count on it." Lucas said to Zaheer, before Zaheer disappeared. "Zaheer!" Korra said, as she ran to the spot Zaheer was standing.
"We best get back, be ready to fight." Lucas said to Korra. "Right." Korra said to Lucas, before they disappeared.
The Misty Palms Oasis
They returned to their bodies, to find themselves locked up in a small room, in a very tied up straight jacket. "Well, look who's back." A voice said to them. That's when they noticed Zoey in a straight jacket like theirs, with A stone cap around their Pokeballs, Treecko, Zebstrika, and Fennekin in stone cages, and Asami hands chained to the ceiling.
"Zaheer, you trick us. Let us go! Asami, Zoey, are you and the Pokemon okay? Where's the rest of the Red Lotus?" Korra asked everyone. "What's the Red Lotus? And Zaheer didn't capture us. The Earth Queen's forces did." Asami said to Korra.
"Yeah, they ambushed us. Locked us up in these things before we even knew what hit us." Zoey said to everyone. "Where are we?" Korra asked everyone. "I'm not sure. Some camp by the desert. They're taking us back to Ba Sing Se." Asami said to everyone.
"Well giving what we just learned. Escaping her will be easier than Zaheer." Lucas said to everyone. "What are you talking about?" Zoey asked Lucas. "Well, that is a tell. But to sum it up into a few words. Zaheer is a crazy man." Lucas said to everyone.
Unknown location
Meanwhile in a cave in the middle of nowhere, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan returned, with Mason, Mako, Bolin, and their Pokemon, tied up with Mason's Pokeballs still trapped in ice. "The Earth Queen's army snachted up the Avatar and her friends. Before I could." Ghazan said to Zaheer.
"But we figured you could find a use for these three." Ming-Hua said to Zaheer. While Zaheer's face didn't show it, he was mad. Mad that Lucas was right about him not seeing them when they woke up. "Load them in the truck. We're taking a trip to Ba Sing Se." Zaheer said to everyone, with a commanding voice.
