Hello everyone, sorry for the long wait, but writing 5 big chapters takes a long time, plus dealing with many things doesn't help with the writing time. Now if you haven't heard, my Trainer Of Vesperia is finished, and I started Violet Iron & Scarlet Beast; The Abyss Riders. My new Tales of the Abyss Story, which had a cameo in chapter 39 of Trainer Of Vesperia.
Now I based Violet Iron & Scarlet Beast off Kamen Riders, and I don't own Kamen Riders/ Pokemon/ Or Tales of The Abyss. This is all for fun, and I couldn't resist a Kamen Rider theme for my Gen 9 OC, and these Abyss Riders are my idea, I didn't base them off any Kamen Rider form the series, if they sound like a Kamen Rider from the series, then I didn't know, I only know W up in terms of Kamen Riders.
Now before we start, just know I wanted to do this chapter for a while, so I hope you like it, and fair warning, this chapter does get violent. So here's part 11.
Book Change Part 11
The Ultimatum Vs The Clone
Ba Sing Se
Not long after the Earth Queen's death, the city was encased in madness, with people raiding and looting everything they could see. Running out of the castle was Mako, Bolin Mason, Scorbunny, and Numel came running out of the palace, with Mason's Pokeballs back on his person.
"I can believe it. The Upper Ring is in chaos." Mako said to everyone, as they noticed some people talking to a guard. "Don't try to stop us. We're taking back what's ours." A man said to the guard. "Stop you? I'm gonna join you. I know where the good stuff is." The guard said to the men, taking off his helmet, and leading them into the palace.
That's when a looter passed Mako, Bolin, Mason, and their Pokemon. "Should we do something?" Bolin asked everyone. "Considering that the force meant to stop this is joining in on the madness. I doubt we can." Mason said to Bolin.
"This also isn't our battle. We have to deliver Zaheer's message to Korra immediately." Mako said to everyone, as he started to walk, with the other following him. "Right. Okay. Find Korra, Deliver message. Yeah, this should be easy. We just gotta get out of the city and get to the desert, then somehow find her in the vast expansive wasteland that goes on for thousands and thousands of miles." Bolin said to everyone, before sighing.
"This isn't gonna be easy." Bolin said to everyone. "Impossible is more like it. How are we going to do this?" Mason asked everyone. "We need an airship." Mako said to everyone, as they ran to the Earth Queen's airships. They got onto the last one that wasn't stolen, and found a bunch of people stripping it for parts.
"Excuse me, may I have your attention please?" Mako asked all the people, getting their attention. "I'm with the Republic City Police, and I need to commandeer this airship to help the Avatar." Mako said to the people. But they ignored him and got back to stripping the airship. "Well that went well." Mason said to Mako.
"Let me give it a shot." Bolin said to everyone. "Hey, the Queen;s gold is on the third floor of the palace! Second door on the right!" Bolin said to the people. The people got excited and left the airship in a matter of seconds. "Nice work Bolin." Mason said to Bolin. "You just gotta know how to talk to them." Bolin said to everyone, before they ran to the controls.
That's when the people took everything that wasn't nailed down. "They took everything. I mean, who rips out a transmission radio?" Mako asked everyone, holding up the radio wires. "Some folks just do not have respect for other people's property. Now let's steal this airship!" Bolin said to everyone, before he started to turn the airship on.
"You know how to fly this thing?" Mako asked Bolin. "Technically speaking? No. But, come on, how hard can it be?" Bolin asked Mako, as a monitor broke. "That does not fill me with confidence." Mason said to Bolin, as Bolin started to fly.
But he flew straight down into the ground, and it scrapped as it moved forward, making the people around them scream and run away. "Up! Up!" Mako said to Bolin. "I don't see any "up" button. I see levers and switches." Bolin said to Mako. "Your lower right side." Mason said to Bolin, making Bolin turn to his lower right. "Oh, there it is." Bolin said, as he made the airship go up.
They flew over the city in the night sky, with parts of the city set blazed by fires. "This is… this is…" Mason said, looking out a window, with a scared look on his face, and unable to finish his sentence. "The whole city is falling to pieces." Mako said, as he looked out a window. "Mako, our family's down there." Bolin said to Mako. "Move over." Mako said to Bolin, pushing Bolin out of the driver's seat.
"We're getting them out." Mako said, as he started to drive the airship. "Oh, you think just because you dated Asami, you know how to fly this better than me?" Bolin asked Mako. "Yeah." Mako said to Bolin, as he moved to his family apartment. Their Mason lowered the back ramp, and Bolin jumped out of the airship, and moved down to the apartment.
"Bolin? What are you doing here?" Tu asked, as everyone noticed Bolin getting into the apartment. "I came to get you guys out. This whole block is about to go up in flames. Come one, Mako and I have an airship on the roof." Bolin said to everyone, trying to lead everyone out, but no one followed him. "We can't. Grandma won't go." Tu said to Bolin.
"This place is my whole world. I will not leave. Oh, but I'm so glad my little Bolin has come back to visit. Sit down. Would you like some tea?" Yin asked Bolin, as she tried to make Bolin stay with them. "Grandma, we don't have time for tea." Bolin said to Yin, as the fire reached their door.
"Mom, please." Chow said to Yin. "No. I can't abandon the place where I raised my family. It's my home." Yin said to everyone. "Grandma, there's one thing that Mako and I have learned from all our years on the street. It doesn't matter where you go. If you have family with you, you'll always be at home." Bolin said to Yin, making Yin have tears in her eyes. But this didn't change her mind. "I'm not going." Yin said to Bolin.
"Fine! You leave me no choice." Bolin said to Yin, picking her up, and lifting her over his shoulder. "We're rolling out!" Bolin said to everyone. "Wait." Yin said to Bolin, before getting the picture of the Earth Queen. "Okay, let's go." Yin said to Bolin.
That's when everyone got onto the airship. Mako made the airship fly away, right as the place went up in flames. After that Bolin took the driver set, and flew them all out of the raging inferno that was once ba Sing Se.
"Thanks for getting us out of there. I mean, I probably could have handled it myself if you guys didn't show up, but thanks." Tu said to Mako and Bolin. "Is he always like this?" Mason asked Mako and Bolin. "Probably, we don't know him well." Bolin said to Mason, as Yin hung up the picture of the Earth Queen. "May she rest in peace." Yin said to the picture, as mako walked to her.
"This Airship is nice. Is it our new home?" Yin asked Mako. "No, grandma, I'm not sure where we're gonna take you. But right now, we need to find Korra." Mako said to Yin. "Did something happen to the Avatar?" Chow asked Mako. "I'm afraid so." Mako said, pulling out a map.
"Her airship went down somewhere in the desert. She was coming from a military base near the Misty Palms Oasis and heading to Ba Sing Se. if we retrace her route back to the base, we should find the wreckage." Mako said to everyone.
The Desert
Mako, Bolin, Mason, their Pokemon, and all the people with them, were flying on the flight path of Korra's airship, looking for the wreck, going well into the morning of the next day. After a long time, Tu found the wreck. "Guys, it's the wreckage. I found it." Tu said to everyone, getting their attention. Mako walked up to Tu. "There." Tu said to Mako.
"That's a Ba Sing Se airship, all right. But where's the rest of it?" Mako asked everyone. "Maybe buried. This is a desert, things tend to get buried fast in environments like this." Mason said to everyone, as he and Bolin moved to Mako and Tu's side. "I don't know, but there are some tracks." Bolin said, as they noticed the trailer the others left behind. "Looks like some luck is finally on our side." Mason said to everyone, as they followed the tracks.
Misty Palms Oasis
They followed the tracks to the Misty Palms Oasis, and landed the ship. Well, crashing it, to be more precise, almost hitting Zuko's dragon in the process. "See? I told you landing is hard." Bolin said to Mako, as everyone was in a crash position.
After exiting the airship, they all stood in front of the ice block in the middle of town with the spirits playing on the ice. "Spirits." A woman from the family said, as Bolin stood in front of everyone.
"Okay, guys, we think Korra and the others found her way back here. Now let's split off into teams and scour the town." Bolin said to everyone, as Lucas walked up to Bolin, with Pabu on his shoulder. "Hey Bolin." Lucas said to Bolin.
"Hey Lucas, we'll need you and Pabu's help too. Now just give me a second while I-." Bolin said to Lucas and Pabu, before gasping. "Wait. Lucas? Pabu? Pabu!" Bolin said, taking Pabu from Lucas, and spinning around with Pabu. "It should worry me, you're more excited to see Pabi than me." Lucas said to Bolin.
"Why is Bolin hugging that big rat?" Yin asked Mason. "That's his pet." Mason said to Yin. "Ew. Now he's kissing it." Yin said, as Bolin gave Pabu some kisses. "I'm never gonna let you go again." Bolin said to Pabu. "Ah hem." Lucas said to Bolin. "Oh, good to see you too Lucas." Bolin said to Lucas.
"Guys, look out! Giant dog-beast thingy!" Tu said to everyone, making everyone run away, as Naga came running up and tackled Mako to the ground. "Okay, all right, Naga. It's good to see you too." Mako said to Naga, as Naga gave Mako some licks. "Ahh, stop. You're licking my mouth." Mako said to Naga, getting Naga off him, as spitting.
That's when Korra, Zoey, Asami, and their Pokemon came running up to them. "Asami! Korra! Zoey!" Bolin said to them. "You guys are okay!" Mako said, as he and Bolin ran up to them, with Bolin hugging Asami, and Mako hugging Korra.
"Good to see you're all okay." Mason said to Zoey, as he gave her a handshake. "More or less. Getting out of the Desert was a bit of a hassle." Zoey said to Mason, as she broke the handshake, at the same time the guys broke the hugs.
"Sorry, I was just-. It's so good to see you." Mako said to Korra. "It's really good to see you too, all of you." Korra said to the guys. "Good. you guys aren't dead." Lin said to the guys, as she, Zuko, Tonraq, and their Pokemon came out of the building.
"Don't get all mushy on me, Chief. Tonraq, Sir." Mako said to them. That's when Bolin moved up to Zuko. "Oh, my gosh. It's Lord Zuko. I can't believe it." Bolin said to Mako, before whimpering. "Uh, forgive my brother." Mako said to Zuko, pulling Bolin back away from Zuko a little. "We're just really honored to meet you, sir." Mako said to Zuko, before he and Bolin bowed to Zuko. Zuko returned the bow. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well." Zuko said to them.
Yin then walked up to Asami. "You must be the Avatar. Mako told me so much about you. You are even more beautiful than I imagined." Yin said to Asami, making Asami nervous. "Uh, actually, that's Asami. This is Avatar Korra." Mako said to Yin, bring Korra over to her.
"Korra, this is my grandma, Yin." Mako said to Korra, with Korra holding out a hand. "You are very muscular for a woman." Yin said to Korra, looking at Korra's arm. "Uh, thanks. You too?" Korra said to Yin. "What lovely young women. Mako, why aren't you dating any nice girl like them or that Zoey girl?" Yin asked Mako, making things awkward for them.
"Well now we know where Bolin gets his awkward making skills from." Lucas said to everyone. "Uh, so what happened to you three? Where have you been?" Asami asked Mako, Bolin, and Mason. "We were captured by Zaheer and taken to Ba Sing Se. We were there when the Earth Queen was overthrown." Mako said to everyone. "We saw the city set ablaze and it was total chaos." Mason said to everyone.
"What? How did you escape?" Korra asked them. "We didn't." Mason said to Korra. "Zaheer let us go." Mako said to Korra. "Why would he do that?" Korra asked Mako. "Because he wanted us to find you and deliver a message." Bolin said to Korra. "Zaheer is headed to the Northern Air Temple as we speak. He said he's gonna wipe out the New Air Nation and everyone in it, unless you turn yourself over to him." Mako said to Korra, making Korra freak out a little.
"Zaheer's threatening innocent lives, just to get to us." Korra said to everyone. "He's insane." Lucas said to everyone. "He could be bluffing." Tonraq said to everyone. "He's already taken out the Earth Queen. I don't think he bluffs." Mako said to everyone.
"We need to radio Tenzin, Dakota, Lily and warn them that the Red Lotus is coming." Korra said to everyone. "I agree. Unfortunately, we don't have a radio on the airship." Mako said to Korra. "There's a portable radio in the jeep, but the signal will never make it to the Northern Air Temple." Tonraq said to everyone.
"We need to get to a place that has a strong radio transmitter." Lin said to everyone. "So where would be the nearest one?" Lucas asked everyone. "The Metal clan will have one." Lin said to everyone. "Let's go. We'll radio Su on the way. Hopefully she can get a hold of Tenzin at the Air Temple by the time we get to Zaofu." Korra said to everyone. After that, they all got onto the airship, and rushed to Zaofu as fast as they could.
Zaofu
Once they all reached Zaofu, they were greeted by a very worried Su. "Did you have any luck getting through to Tenzin, Lily, Or Dakota?" Korra asked Su. "No one's answering. What if Zaheer is already up there? I should never have let Opal go." Su said to everyone. "It's going to be okay, Su." Lin said to Su, playing an arm of Su's shoulders. "I hope so." Su said to Lin.
After that, they all moved to the radio room, and tried to reach the Northern Air Temple. "We have a strong signal, but no one's answering." The man working the radio said. "I can't just sit around here while a madman is on his way to the Northern AIr Temple. We have to do something." Korra said to everyone.
"I'll ready my airship. With the full force of the metal clan security backing us, we can take them." Su said to everyone, before leaving. "We'll never make it up there before Zaheer." Mako said to everyone. "It's not like we have a lot of options at the moment." Zoey said to Mako.
"There might be another way to stop him. It's a long shot, but Zaheer is always meditating into the Spirit World, and I know exactly where he goes: Xai bau's Grove. If I could find him there, maybe I could somehow trap him." Korra said to everyone. "We can't protect you in there. I don't like it." Lin said to Korra.
"I'll be fine. I have to try." Korra said to Lin. "I'll watch over her as she meditates." Asami said to everyone. "So will I." Lucas said to everyone. "And I'll join her in the Spirit World." Zoey said to everyone. "I guess in the meantime, Mako, Mason, and I will stay here and try to get through to the Temple." Bolin said to everyone. "We'll help Su ready the airship." Tonraq said to everyone. "I'm going to take a nap." Yin said to everyone, as everyone split up.
Outside under a tree, while Asami, Lucas, and all their Pokemon watching them Korra and Zoey meditend into the Spirit World.
Spirit World
Once they entered the Spirit World they found themselves in Xai bau's Grove. "Zaheer, come out! Face me! Leave the airbenders out of this." Korra said. But nothing happened. "I don't think he's coming." Zoey said to everyone. "You were saying." Korra said to Zoey, getting ready for a fight as someone came out of the fog. "Please don't hurt me, Korra. I'm just an old man." The someone said, as Iroh came out of the fog, with two Pokemon following him.
One was a teal tea cup which looked like it had a face, yellow lines on its top and bottom, a handle that was made of purple tea, a chip missing, and a little purple tea that looked like it was leaking out.
The other one looked similar to the tea cup, but was in broken teapot, with the inside being a glowing it, with the lower part a sick orange color and upper part a purple color, purple liquid stubby legs, and a purple liquid spirit sticking out of the top of the teapot with the broke lid as a hat.
"Iroh! It's an honor to meet you, oh Dragon of the West. To what do we owe the honor of you and your Pokemon Sinistea and Polteageist." Zoey said to Iroh, bowing to him. "Please, no need to be so formal. I'm just Iron here." Iroh said to Zoey.
"But what are you doing here?" Korra asked Iroh. "I was just out searching for a new Teapot to add to my collection after giving my new friend Polteageist one of my teapots, but instead I found you and your friend." Iroh said to Korra, before laughing a little. "In the Spirit World, you always seem to find something you didn't know you were looking for." Iroh said to everyone, with Korra having a sad look on her face.
"You look troubled." Iroh said to Korra. "I am." Korra said to Iorh. "We have bad things happening back in our world." Zoey said to Iroh. "Sit." Iroh said to everyone. Everyone then took a set.
"What is on your mind?" Iron asked Korra. "There's a maniac on the loose, and he's threatening to destroy the new air nation. I don't know what to do." Korra said to Iroh. "Yeah this is madness, and not even we know what to do." Zoey said to Iroh. "Just because you are the Avatar and experienced a lot doesn't mean you will have all the answers." Iroh saud to everyone.
"I know many Avatars have needed guidance, but I'm the only one since Avatar Wan that can't get help from my past lives. I wish I could talk to Aang." Korra said to everyone. "Why not ask Arceus?" Zoey asked Korra. "They want him. All so this is so they can draw him out. I can't risk getting him involved in this." Korra said to Zoey.
"You know, Zuko and Aang were close friends." Iroh said to everyone. "Lord Zuko, of course." Korra said. "Yes, my nephew. Their relationship started off a little rocky." Iroh said to everyone. "Rocky isn't the world I would pick for how it started." Zoey said to Iroh. "But they grew to become lifelong friends. Best friends." Iroh said to Korra. "Thank you. Thank you so much. You're right about the Spirit World. We came here looking for someone else, but I'm glad we found you." Korra said to Iroh, before she and Zoey left.
Zaofu
Back in Zaofu, Asami, Lucas, and the Pokemon were waiting for Korra and Zoey to come back, and got bored. That's when Korra and Zoey woke up. "Did you find Zaheer?" Asami asked Korra and Zoey. "No, he wasn't there. But there's someone we need to talk to." Korra said to Asami, before leaving, "Come one Lucas." Zoey said to Lucas, as they, and their Pokemon, went after Korra.
Korra led Lucas, Zoey, and their Pokemon to meet Zuko, who was getting his dragon ready for a trip. "Your leaving? Aren't you coming to the Air Temple with us?" Korra asked Zuko. "I'm sorry, but I can't. I'm going back to the Fire Nation. If it's true that the Red Lotus is targeting the nation's leaders, I need to protect my daughter." Zuko said to Korra.
"I understand, you have to keep the Fire Lord safe." Korra said to Mako. "She's right. Your place is with your daughter. We can not ask a father to abandon his child in this time of chaos. All we ask is that you both stay safe." Lucas said to Zuko. "Thank you." Zuko.
"But before you leave, I was wondering if you could help us with something." Korra asked Zuko. "I was often Aang's council, and I'd love to be yours." Zuko said to Korra. "That's just it, you knew Aang better than anyone. I was wondering if you knew what he might do if he was in my situation." Korra asked Zuko.
"Hmm, rebuilding the Air Nation was Aang's biggest dream. He would be beside himself with joy with what you've done, and if he accomplished that goal, he would have sacrificed anything to protect it." Zuko said to Korra. "So he would give himself up to save the Air Nation?" Korra asked Zuko.
"I don't know for sure. The airbenders might have been closest to Aang's heart, but as the Avatar, he was concerned with people of all nations. No one knew better than Aang that in times of turmoil the world needs its avatar the most." Zuko said to Korra, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Thanks. Your uncle was right. It was helpful talking to you." Korra said to Zuko.
"Wait, you spoke with my uncle?" Zuko asked Korra. "Yes, in the Spirit World. A couple of times actually, while Dakota, Lily, and Zoey met him once." Korra said to Zuko. "Sounds like I need to take a trip to the Spirit World and meet him." Lucas said to everyone, with Zuko giving all of them an odd look.
That;s when Mako and Scorbunny came running up to everyone. "Guys, we got through to the Air Temple." Mako said to everyone. "Let's go!" Lucas said, as everyone ran to the radio room.
In the radio room, Bolin was talking to the radio, and was having a hard time. "What's wrong?" Zoey asked Bolin. "Who is this?" Meelo said over the radio. "Never mind." Zoey said to everyone. "I told you, it's Bolin!" Bolin said to Meelo. "Bolin's not here right now, can I take a message?" Meelo asked Bolin. "No, I'm not looking for Bolin, I am Bolin! Ahh, Look, I need you to find your dad." Bolin said to Meelo.
"He's outside with the bison. Did you know we found a whole herd full of baby bison?" Meeli asked Bolin. "No. A whole herd, really?" Bolin asked, making everyone groan. "Have they forgotten why we're calling them?" Mason asked everyone. "Maybe." Zoey said to Mason, as Korra took the radio from Bolin.
"Meelo, this is your commanding officer. Go get your dad, now." Korra said to Meelo, in a commanding voice. "Yes, sir." Meelo said, saluting and running off to get Tenzin. "Come on. Come on." Korra said, as they waited for Tenzin. "Hello, this is Tenzin." Tenzin said over the radio, making Korra feel a little better.
"Tenzin, listen to me carefully. Zaheer is on his way to the temple. He's coming for the airbenders. You have to get everyone out of there immediately. Drop everything. Leave now!" Korra said to Tenzin. "Oh, no." Tenzin said, "What? What is it? Tenzin! Tenzin, what's happening?" Korra asked Tenzin.
Northern Air Temple
"It's too late. He's here." Tenzin said, as he looked outside and saw an airship outside with Zaheer and P'li standing by the door. "What is it, daddy?" Meelo asked Tenzin, with Noivern growling at Zaheer and P'li. "We need to get everyone out of here. Stay close to me. Noivern make sure you protect Meelo." Tanzin said to everyone, before they all flew out of the room.
Meanwhile, Dakota, Lily, Bumi, Kai, and their Pokemon were watching the airship move around the temple. That's when Tenzin, Meelo, and Noivern landed next to them. "What's going on, Tenzin?" Bumi asked Tenzin. "It's Zaheer. Round everyone up. We need to get to the bison and evacuate immediately." Tenzin said to everyone. This made everyone scattered.
Kai, Dakota, and their Pokemon ran to some people practicing airbding motions. "Guys, we have an emergency. We're evacuating the temple. Come on." Kai said to everyone. "No time to waste! Let's move people!" Dakota said to everyone, as they started to move.
But that's when a burst of lava appeared in front of the way out. "Look out!" Kai said, as they all used their bending to jump back and away from the lava. That's when they noticed Ghazan standing above the exit.
Back in another room where Kya, Opal, their Pokemon, and a few airbenders were meditating, when Bumi, Lily, and their Pokemon ran in. 'It's Zaheer. We have to leave." Bumi said to everyone. That's when everyone ran outside.
But once they got outside, Ming-Hua grabbed Opal, and held an ice blade at Opal's throat, making Opal scream. "No one's going anywhere, or she gets it." Ming-Hua said to everyone, making everyone stop, with the Pokemon growling at her.
Back with Tenzin, he and his family were running, when Zaheer appeared in front of them. "Good, the entire family is here." Zaheer said to everyone, as Tenzin and Noivern got in front of everyone, and Noivern growled at Zaheer. "Don't try anything or the other airbenders will pay." Zaheer said to Noivern, making Noivern growl loader.
Zaheer, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan forced everyone into the temple barracks, with the Pokemon forming a circle around all of them, trying to protect the airbenders, all the while growling at Zaheer, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan. But the Pokemon knew that they could attack with Zaheer, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan crazy bending tricks, and the threats of those tricks getting unleashed on the airbenders. So they just stayed on defense and growled, for now.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet a true airbending master, and the first reincarnation of the first airbending teacher." Zaheer said to Tenzin and Lily. "Given how you're perverting our ways, it's no pleasure at all." Lily said to Zaheer. "Well now I feel insulted. But here." Zaheer said to Lily, tossing her Rotom Phone to her. Lily took her Rotom Phone back, but didn't say thanks, only gave him a mean look. "What is it you want from us?" Tenzin asked Zaheer.
"Nothing at all. In fact, if everyone cooperates, most of you will all walk out of this situation unharmed." Zaheer said to everyone. "Most. That's not exactly reassuring or good." Dakota said to Zaheer. "What are you doing here?" Tenzin asked Zaheer. "I want Korra, and I'm tired of chasing her." Zaheer said to Tenzin.
"You're using us as Leverage?" Tenzin asked Zaheer. "Yes." Zaheer said Tenzin. "I will never let you get to Korra." Tenzin said to Korra. "Unfortunately, you don't have a choice." Zaheer said to Tenzin.
That's when everyone heard a crash. They looked up to see the airship flipped upside down and crashed onto the top of the building. That's when Mewtwo appeared in between Zaheer, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan and the everyone else, while holding P'li upside down by her leg.
Mewtwo then threw P'li at Zaheer, stunning Zaheer. Then before Ming-Hua and Ghazan could react, Mewtwo used his psychic powers to send them flying into Zaheer and P'li. Then he used his psychic powers to send them all flying through a wall.
"Sorry I'm late." Mewtwo said to everyone. "Mewtwo what are you doing here?" Tenzin asked Mewtwo, before they noticed Zaheer, P'li, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan get up. "I'll tell you later. I'll distract them back, get your people out of here!" Mewtwo said to Tenzin, before floating over to Zaheer, P'li, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan, and teleporting away with them. "You heard him. Let's go!" Tenzin said to everyone, as they started to evacuate the Air Temple.
Meanwhile Mewtwo teleported himself, Zaheer, P'li, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan to a nearby cliff, with two large rock walls on the sides, with a way out the back, and a long drop over the edge. Mewtwo floated over the edge, as Zaheer, P'li, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan stood up.
"I guess this is as far as I can take four people in a flash." Mewtwo said, as he noticed the Air Temple was still in view, but was still a good distance away from them. "Why are you getting in our way?" Zaheer asked Mewtwo. "Are you really asking me after what you tried to do to the Airbenders?!" Mewtwo asked Zaheer.
"No I mean. Why are you getting in our way? You should be helping us. After what you did to the Earth Queen and Republic City President, I know we're on the same side. We both think the world would be better off without leaders." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "Don't mistake my annoyance with those two to be the same as your madness." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"But you're something truly free. You were not born of Arceus, but of men who were not bound by order. You are truly free. So why are you working for a tyrant like Arceus?" Zaheer asked Mewtwo.
"So you know of my origins from Lily's Rotom Phone. And while it is true I wasn't born like many other Pokemon, but rather from humans who weren't bound by rules or laws. But there's something you may not know." Mewtwo said to Zaheer. "And that is?" Zaheer asked Mewtwo.
"I killed them all. They never thought of me, or of what they were making. Upon my birth, I was confused on why I was alive, for what purpose was I born. The humans that made me told me that I was only alive because they wanted to go beyond the laws of their science. They then started talking about making another one of me, a better one, right in front of me. I was just a test for them. Confused by my birth, and not knowing who I was. I let out my power. They tried to contain me, but that only angered me. In a rage, I destroyed everything, setting things on fire, crushed things, and trapped the humans inside. Then I left the place of my birth, as it exploded, destroying everything, including all of the humans and their data." Mewtwo said to everyone.
"But you were free. You had no laws or anything to hold you back." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "I didn't feel free. I felt lost. I flew for a long time not knowing anything. That's when exhaustion got to me, and I fainted and crashed. When I woke up, I found myself in the company of some forest Pokemon. Not knowing them, and them not knowing me, we both got scared and moved away from everyone. That's when an Alakazam walked up to me. After calming me down, Alakazam started to teach me many things." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"So it was an Alakazam that ruined you." Zaheer said Mewtwo. "That Alakazam didn't ruin me. He taught me to live, to control my powers, and many other things, including the vale of life. After a few months poachers came into the forest to hunt my friends. But I quickly stopped the poachers. And while I could have killed them, I spared their lives, and turned them into the authorities." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"Why would you support order when you're free?" Zaheer asked Mewtwo. "Because Alakazam taught me it was the right thing to do and it was my choice. I could have killed the poachers, but I choose to be better than them and turn them in. Doing that lets me have an audience with Arceus." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"Is that when he forced his will on you?" Zaheer asked Mewtwo. "Arceus rarely forces anything on anyone. Sure he made a few of us for work. But all we do and how we do it is our choices. To Arceus, that's freedom. To live as we want to live. My DNA is proof of that. When he made Pokemon instead of making every single Pokemon, he made a lot of Pokemon called Mew, and told Mew to live as they wish. This was how all Pokemon came to be, not by forcing them, but by letting them be free to live and make their own choice." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"But he still made others so he wouldn't have to do anything, and controlled them like a tyrant." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "He made others because he knew someone who was the life itself would do a better job of spreading life then he would. It wasn't about being lazy or a tyrant. He was just doing the best he could." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"If he's so great? Then why does he let moronic presidents and tyrannical queens live?" Zaheer asked Mewtwo. "I asked him that myself. Why did he let bad people and Pokemon live? His answer, balance and understanding. For how can we know a good human without knowing a bad one. In other words, we can judge the Earth Queen as a horrible person when compared to other queens that are currently alive or long dead."
"So we agree that the Earth Queen was a horrible person." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "Yes, but what you did was wrong. Do you know what you did for the people of Ba Sing Se?" Mewtwo asked Zaheer. "We gave them freedom." Zaheer said to Mewtwo.
"Yes, I'm sure the screams of the dying and suffering are great freedom calls." Mewtwo said to Zaheer. "We freed them from the suffering of the Earth Queen." Zaheer said to Mewtwo, making Mewtwo laugh.
"Do you really think you freed them from suffering? You made it worse. Without any roles and order, the people of Ba Sing Se have gone mad. And in that madness, homes were burned down, with people in them. People were kidnapped by other people. Some were killed for petty reasons. In the end you didn't free them from the Earth Queen. You just spread the Earth Queen's tyrannicalness throughout the city. If you truly wanted to help free the people, then you should change the government, not kill it. Because of your actions an even worse government will take the place of the Earth Queens' government." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"Then we'll overthrow that government as well." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "Then you'll spend all our life on a pointless cycle of Anarchy and Tyranny. Something Arceus told me after we met was, Freedom without Law is Anarchy, and Law without Freedom is Tyranny. And every time you remove the law, anarchy will rain, and since you forced the scales like that. Then Tyranny will grow to take control of the madness you made." Mewto
"That's just the lies of Arceus." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "Then tell me. How long will it be before your friends stab you in the back? After all, they're here because this is your plan. You use order on them. If you think freedom can only come from when all order is gone. Then please start your mission, by killing your friends. After all, so long as two people are around, someone will be in charge, and order will remain." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"Enough talking! He's stalling us." Ming-Hua said to Zaheer. "Of course I'm stalling. All I have to do is distract you all long enough for everyone to escape. And if I bet you all, then we can put an end to this madness right now." Mewtwo said to everyone.
"I'd rather not fight you. After all, I wish for you to join us." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "Did you not listen to my story? If you haven't, then here's my response to your invitation. Swift!" Mewtwo said to Zaheer, as he let out a fury of yellow stars.
This made Zaheer, P'li, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan scatter, dodging the stars. P'li then tried a combustion blast at Mewtwo. But Mewtwo's eyes glowed pink, and the combustion blast turned around, and hit right under P'li, sending P'li rolling.
"Please don't tell me that's all you have. I thought you four were some big shot benders?" Mewtwo asked them, as he floated a little bit over the land. That's when Ghazan tried to make a lava burst under Mewtwo's feet. But Mewtwo's eyes glowed pink, and a pink outline appeared on the lava, keeping the lava from bursting, no matter how hard Ghazan tried to force it.
"Psystrike!" Mewtwo said, as he made purple rocks of psychic energy. Mewtwo then flung the purple rocks at them, with only a few of the rocks hitting them, making the groan a little.
Ming-Hua then charged at Mewtwo, with her water tentacles turned into ice scythes. Ming-Hua swung her ice scythes at Mewtwo, and while Mewtwo dodged most of the edge of the ice scythes, he allowed Ming-Hua to get a few scratches on him.
Then Mewtwo's eyes glowed pink, and a pink out appeared on Ming-Hua. Ming-Hua was then sent flying into one of the rock walls. "Honestly, I was hoping for a bit of a challenge from the four most dangerous criminals of this word." Mewtwo said to everyone. "Says the freak covered in scratches." Ghazan said to Mewtwo.
"Recover." Mewtwo said, as he glowed green, and all of his scratches faded away. "I allowed Ming-Hua to hit me. To show you my healing trick. Knowing I can heal from anything you do and can easily control everything you do. Do you surrender?" Mewtwo asked everyone.
"Never! Everyone, attack at once!" Zaheer said to everyone, as they all fired an air burst, a spinning lava blade, water spikes, and a combustion blast at Mewtwo. "Swift!" Mewtwo said, as he made a fury of stars. A few of the stars hit the attacks heading for him, and break them, the rest head for them. All of them raised their arms to block the stars from hitting their faces. The stars then hit everyone, making small explosions, and knocking everyone back again.
Zaheer then fired a few air bursts at Mewtwo. But they had no effect on Mewtwo. "I'm used to flying in harsh winds and racing Flying Types, so you'll need more than some wind to beat me. Psystrike!" Mewtwo said to Zaheer, before making rocks made of psychic energy and flung them at Zaheer.
Zaheer then used some fancy airbending to dodge the rocks. While that was happening, Ming-Hua whipped some ice shards at Mewtwo. Mewtwo noticed the ice shards at the last second, and while he stopped most of them with his psychic powers. One of the ice shards hit Mewtwo in the side, making him drop the other ice shards.
Mewtwo then pulled out the ice shard, leaving an open and deep cut. "Recover!" Mewtwo said, as he crushed the ice shard. Mewtwo glowed green and the wound closed.
"I'm going to make you pay for that. Psychic!" Mewtwo said to Ming-Hua, as his eyes glowed pink, and a pink outline appeared on Ming-Hua. Mewtwo then made Ming-Hua fly all over the place, crashing into the rock walls and into the ground multiple times.
P'li then fired a combustion blast at Mewtwo. But Mewtwo moved Ming-Hua into the path of the combustion blast, and let Ming-Hua take the hit, breaking her free of Mewtwo's Psychic and sending Ming-Hua flying.
"Looks like you all want to play as well. Psychic!" Mewtwo said, as his eyes glowed pink again. This time a pink outline appeared on everyone but Ming-Hua, and Mewtwo made them all fly all over the place, even hitting Ming-Hua as he made them fly past her.
Mewtwo then slammed everyone together and stopped his Psychic. "Will you all finally surrender?" Mewtwo asked everyone. "Never." Ghazan said, as he made a few lava blades and threw them at Mewtwo. "Swift." Mewtwo said, as he made a fury of yellow stars. Mewtwo's stars and Ghazan lava blades collided in the middle, and Mewtwo stars won the collison.
Mewtwo's stars then hit Ghazan, ending Ghazan to one of the rock walls. Looking at the rock wall, Ghazan had an idea. Ghazan signaled to Zaheer, and by trading looks, he got the idea. Zaheer then signaled Ming-Hua and P'li and they understood what to do.
P'li then fired combustion blasts at Mewtwo, at the same time Ming-Hua tried to water whipped Mewtwo. Dodging this, Mewtwo moved back, and kept moving back until he was near the rock wall. That's when Ghazan lavabended the rock wall, causing the rock wall to break apart, with a very large rock falling on Mewtwo, and with the water whipping and combustion blasts from Ming-Hua and P'li, Mewtwo could move.
This caused the rock to fall on him, with a few of the smaller rocks causing a dust cloud to form around Mewtwo. "That got him." Ghazan said, as everyone moved to each other's side. "Are you sure?" A voice asked Ghazan, as the dust cleared.
That's when everyone noticed Mewtwo was fine, with his eyes glowing pink, and a pink outline on the large rock making it float. "You think you're the first humans to try and crush me with a giant rock?" Mewtwo asked them, before making the large rock spin, and he threw it at them.
Everyone scattered, dodging the large rock, as he slammed into the other rockwall, making it shatter and rain down on them for a few seconds. "When will you learn that you can't beat me? Just give up on your crazy plains and face justice for your crimes against order." Mewtwo said to everyone. "We won't give up." P'li said to Mewtwo.
"You know your attacks are useless on me. All I have to do is stall you in order to win against you. So what's the point of you trying to win?" Mewtwo said to everyone. "Because we're both playing the game of stalling." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "Huh?" Mewtwo asked Zaheer.
Back at the Air Temple everyone was running through the temple, and they were almost at the bisons, with Tenzin, Bumi, Kya, Lily, and Dakota leading the way. "We're here. Everyone get into…" Tenzin said to everyone, but stopped talking when a large metal ball fell right in front of them.
Before they could say anything or react, the metal ball exploded. The burst of the metal ball exploding sent Tenzin, Bumi, Kya, Lily, and Dakota flying, giving them some burns and knocking them out.
"Dad!" Jinora said, as she tried to run to Tenzin's side. "Look out!" Kai said, as he pulled Jinora back. That is when more metal balls fell down, and exploded around them. Kya, and Jinora looked outside to see a large group of airships in the air above them, and a bunch of men wearing red robes and hoods with armored shoulders and gauntlets.
Then some men from the airships then started to throw more metal balls down. The metal balls exploded all around them. This made the Pokemon roar and fly up, and were ready to fight.
But that's when the men fired metal nets at the Pokemon, and once the Pokemon were trapped in the nets, the net let out a surge of electricity, burning the Pokemon and knocking them out.
While that was going on, Jinora, Oliva, and Kai grabbed Tenzin, Bumi, Kya, Lily, and Dakota, and pulled them into the hallway everyone was taking over in. "Are they okay?" Pema asked, as Olivia gave them a very quick look over. "They're alive. Luckily they just took the force of the blast, so I don't think they're in serious danger. But no doubt they're in a lot of pain. They need medical help." Olivia said to everyone.
"We have to get out of here." Kai said to everyone. But that's when some of the metal balls exploded outside. "It's too dangerous- we'll never make it. To the tables with all these explosions." Pema said to Kai, as everyone watched as the metal ball kept falling, and the Pokemon were getting caught and zapped.
Back with Mewtwo, he saw all the airships attacking the Air temple. "So this is what you were talking about?!" Mewtwo asked Zaheer, getting mad. "Of course. I knew the flock would be a problem, so I had to make sure we had something to handle them. We just got her first." Zaheer said to Mewtwo.
This made Mewtwo squint his eyes in a rage, as his eyes glowed pink. A pink outline appeared on Zaheer, and made fly to him. Mewtwo then held a hand on Zaheer's throat, as he kept his psychic up. "I've met a lot of horrible humans. But you, you are the worst human in existence." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
That's when P'li moved behind Mewtwo, and fired a combustion blast. And this time the combustion blast bit Mewtwo in the dead center of his back, forcing Mewtwo and Zaheer forward, with Mewtwo having a big and nasty burn on his back.
After they finished rolling, Zaheer recovered first, and air kicked Mewtwo in the chin, making Mewtwo roll again. When Mewtwo started to slow down, Ghazan made a lava puddle in the spot Mewtwo was heading. Lucky Mewtwo stopped rolling right before the lava puddle, but unlucky the back of Mewtwo's left hand landed in the lava puddle.
Mewtwo let out a scream, as he clenched his left hand. That's when Ming-Hua watered, whipped his leg, and then sent him flying into one of the rock walls. "Recover!" Mewtwo said, as he glowed green and tried to get up. But all Recovered did was null most of the pain.
"Swift!" Mewtwo said, as he fired yellow stars, but without his left hand he wasn't able to make that many stars. This time when Zaheer, P'li, Ghazan, and Ming-Hua countered attacked, their attacks won, and a few ice spikes and lava blades managed to hit Mewtwo, but only scratched him a little. "Recover!" Mewtwo said, as he glowed green, trying to get some strength back, all the while breathing heavily.
Back with the airbenders, Kai was done doing nothing. "I can't wait any longer." Kai said to everyone, taking a glider. "Wiat, what are you doing?" Jinora asked Kai. "Whatever I can." Kai said to Jinora, as he ran out.
"Get to the bison! Get out of here!" Kai said to Jinora, as he flew up. Kai then knocked a few of the metal balls out of the air, making them fall away from the other airbenders. This gave the other airbenders a chance to run to the Bisons.
Getting annoyed with Kai, the men forced fire on Kai, and threw a lot of metal balls at Kai. And while Kai was able to dodge most of them, one of the metal balls was heading right for him, and he couldn't dodge it.
That's when Murkrow got in front of Kai, and took the hit from the metal ball. Then the metal ball exploded, and the force of the explosion caused Kai and Murkrow to fall out of the sky and into the mist far below the temple. Jinora saw this. "Kai! No." Jinora said, with her eyes getting teary.
Noticing what the airbenders were doing, the men threw the metal balls between them and the bison, causing a lot of explosions. All the explosions scared off the bison. With the bisons gone, the airships moved in, to capture the now trapped airbenders.
Back with Mewtwo, Mewtwo was losing ground, and was forced to the edge of the cliff. The pain from the lava and combustion blast made it hard for him to focus. "Psystrike!" Mewtwo said, as he made purple rocks of psychic energy. Mewtwo then flung the rocks at everyone.
Zaheer, Ming-Hua, P'li, and Ghazan dodged most of the rocks, but each still got hit by one of the rocks. This forced them back a little. "Recover!" Mewtwo said, as he glowed green, still trying to regain his strength and null the pain he was in.
But while he was recovering, P'li fired a combustion blast at Mewtwo. "Psychic!" Mewtwo said, as his eyes glowed pink, and he made the combustion blast turn and hit the ground. The explosion caused a dust cloud to be formed.
Then from the dust cloud, Ming-Hua water tentacles came out, and grabbed Mewtwo. Ming-Hua forced Mewtwo to the ground with his belly laying on the ground. The second he hit the ground, Ghazan stomped his foot, and caused a burst of lava to appear under Mewtwo.
This caused Mewtwo to scream in pain, as his chest was covered in very nasty burns, and he was sent flying over the edge of the cliff. Zaheer, P'li, Ghazan, and Ming-Hua listened, as they heard tree branches breaking from under the cliff.
A few minutes later Zaheer, P'li, Ghazan, and Ming-Hua moved to the bottom of the clift, which was a small forest. While walking through the forest, they found a very scratched up Mewtwo, with nasty burns on his back, chest and left hand, laying on his chest.
"Re…Cov…Er…" Mewtwo weekly said, as he glowed green. And while that took care of the scratches, the burns remained, and Mewtwo was too weak to move. That's when Mewtwo noticed Zaheer, P'li, Ghazan, and Ming-Hua.
"What are… you waiting for…? This is… what you… want right…? To… kill… one of us…? Just… get it… over with…!" Mewtwo said to Zaheer. "I don't want to kill you. You just didn't see the truth about what we're doing." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "Truth…! Don't make… Reshiram… laugh." Mewtwo said to Zaheer.
"I'll see in time. Once we kill Arceus you'll join us." Zaheer said to Mewtwo, making Mewtwo weakly laugh. "You… can't… beat… Arceus…" Mewto said to Zaheer. "We beat you." Zaheer said to Mewtwo. "
"With tricks… and cheap… shots… Arceus … won't… fall… for that… His… power… unmatched… and… unstoppable…" Mewtwo said to Zaheer. "We'll see about that." Zaheer said to Mewtwo, before P'li punched Mewtwo in the face, knocking Mewtwo out.
As the sun started to set, Kai and Murkrow were out cold, alive but out cold, and handing off a tree. That's when the baby bison Kai befriended came up and licked them, waking them up. "Whoa!" Kai said, as he noticed where they were.
The baby bison turned his back to them, letting Kai and Murkrow know they could get on. And once they got themselves out of the tree, they did just that. "Thanks, buddy. Yip-yip." Kai said to the baby bison, making the baby bison fly off into the distance.
