'What's All Might like as a teacher?'
'What was he wearing?'
Ziuku and Bakugo were assailed by the pack of ravenous vultures that were journalists.
'Get the hell out of my face before a blow you to the moon.' Katsuki yelled diplomatically.
'Don't mind Kacchan, we just have to get to class in time.' Izuku pushed Bakugi away from the fight he wanted to start.
They rushed through the gate, the UA barrier slamming shut behind them.
'Alright Class today you have to pick a Class President and a Vice. I don't really care how you do it or who you pick, just get it done by the end of the period.'
All the students started clamouring, trying to yell louder then the others.
'Everybody stop this nonsense at once' Iida yelled over the din.
'We should have a vote. Everyone has 2 votes, they can't be for the same people and you can't vote for yourself. I trust all your Heroic spirits to honour that.'
There were a few grumbles but eventually everyone agreed.
Yaoyorozu ended up being elected President while Iida was made Vice.
'I thank you all for voting for me, I will do my best to help you all wherever I can.' Yaoyorozu said.
Midnight shortly arrived to teach Modern history and classes carried on through the day. Mic's English class was fairly bland, even with his constant tangents about bands and music.
'Hey Midoriya come sit with us' Kirishima called, indicating his table where Ashido, Kaminari and Bakugo sat.
'Maybe tomorrow Kirishima, I want to ask Yaoyorozu some questions about her quirk.' Izuku deferred and sat down with Asui, Yaoyorozu, Jiro and Shoji.
'So Yaoyorozu, have you found anything you couldn't create?' He asked
'Well biological material is tricky, I'm sure with sufficient time I could work it out.'
'Well have you thought about making theoretical particles? You could single handily change the world of science as we know it.'
'I have considered that but the risk is too much. What if those particles are unstable? I could become a nuclear bomb. It would only take a single mistake.' She finished solemnly.
'But what about your quirk? What are the items you make made of?' Bouncing back to her usual happy self.
'I'm not sure, I've tried to take small samples but anything that breaks the item's integrity makes it shatter.
Their conversation was interrupted when an alarm rang out 'ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS CODE: 3, ALL STUDENTS RETURN TO YOUR HOMEROOMS' a mechanical voice sounded out. As the message looped the students began to stampede towards the door uncaring of anyone in their way. Soon Midoriya felt the crush of body's force him into the window.
Glancing out he saw the press storming onto the grounds, their teachers waiting to meet them.
'It's just the press', he tried to yell over the storm of students, but he couldn't get enough air, he was being crushed. Suddenly he was just a little child again and he was suffocating.
'Midoriya snap out of it' Yaoyorozu empower as she shook him. Looking up with bleary eyes he saw her standing above him, using her tall body and what looked like a taser to protect his collapsed form.
'We have to tell them, it's just the press.' Izuku spoke with a rasp.
'I hear you Midoriya, but how?'
The crush of students continuing further into the hallway suddenly noticed a glowing green teenager float through the air with a megaphone in hand.
'EVERYBODY STOP' He screamed, 'It's just the press. Stop panicking and calmly go to your class.'
Looking down he saw a lot of bashful faces, he tried not to glare at them, but he probably did.
'Good work Midoriya' Yaoyorozu said as she made her way through the dispersing crowd.
'Someone had to do it, it wasn't that special' Izuku deferred.
'Well I think it was pretty Heroic, and please call me Momo,' she said with a faint dusting of pink on her cheeks.
'Oh, sure Momo, as long as you call me Izuku.' He said as they walked back to their homeroom.
The next morning Aizawa announced an off campus training session that would take place after lunch. The students gossiped excitedly about what they could be doing, struggling to focus on their morning classes.
Finally they loaded onto the bus, wearing their hero costumes, they quickly turned to theorising about what they could be doing.
'Maybe it'll be rescue training, I heard Thirteen runs a class.' Jiro proposed.
'I love Thirteen' Uraraka said with stars in her eyes.
'Thirteen is great, they have the single highest number of rescues over their career, they even beat out All Might. Though that's mostly because of the Earthquake eight years ago. I heard she rescued over three thousand people over the course of a month.' Izuku blurted.
Uraraka, if possible, lit up even brighter,
'I hope it's them' with her fingers crossed.
Arriving at a dome shaped building that towered above them, they were greeted by the sight of a rather cuddly looking figure in a spacesuit.
'Ohmygod ohmygod OHMYGOD', Uraraka yelled, almost fainting from excitement.
'Hello all welcome to the USJ OR Unforseen Simulation Joint, I am Thirteen. Today you will learn to use your quirks to save people. You must always be aware of the power of your quirks, take mine for instance. I have the power Black Hole, which let's me suck up and destroy rubble easily. It is very useful in rescue situations, but if I were not careful enough I could easily suck a person in, killing them instantly.' At this Bakugo turned away glaring at his feet before glancing at Izuku's arm.
'I implore you all to consider the danger of your quirks and to always use them in the safest way possible.' Finishing her spiel to polite applause.
Aizawa briefly talked to Thirteen over to the side before returning to the front.
'OK class were going to split you...'
He trailed off as a prickle of danger filled the edges of his awareness.
'Hey Teach, is that part of the lesson?' Kirishima asked pointing to the purple black cloud that was filling the central area of the USJ.
'No It's not. Those are villians. Kaminari, Jiro try to contact the school and police. Iida get to the school, you're the quickest here. Everyone you have authorisation to use your quirks non-lethally for self-defence. Everyone else, get outside if you can and stick together.'
The cloud spat out dozens of grungy looking figures, followed by a hulking brute with dark blue skin, a beak for a face and an exposed brain. After the abomination stepped a light blue haired figure who was covered in dismembered hands. Finally the cloud collapsed into itself forming the rough shape of a man.
'Greetings students of UA, we have come with a simple goal, To kill All Might. Where is he on this afternoon. We believe that he was meant to be here.' The cloud spoke conversationally, with all the emotion of someone discussing the weather.
The students felt a shiver run down their spines at the deep voice.
'Everyone stay together' Aizawa ordered as he jumped down the stairs, raising his goggles over his eyes. He began to dismantle the thugs with efficiency, bashing one into another with his capture scarf.
With a blink the cloud man vanished and reappeared looming above the students. In a flash Bakugo launched an explosion into the form above him. The smoke cleared to reveal the slightly shrunken form of the cloudy figure.
'Students stand back' Thirteen ordered as they approached the figure. Opening the caps on all their fingers they began to suck in the cloud, trapping it within the vortex.
The cloud spat out small portals behind the students which began to suck in everything around themselves. The students unable to resist the pull were flung towards the portals, unable to avoid being intercepted by seperate portals.
For Midoriya all he could see was blackness for a split second. Then he felt the direction of gravity shift as he plummeted towards the lake below. He quickly grabbed the harness within his costume with Ultrahand, hovering in the air he was able to spot another green figure crash into the water.
He flew towards the target, peering into theory water below him, he could make out a dozen shapes also closing on the location of the splash. He tried to dart through the air even quicker until he saw a muscular man with a shark quirk fly out of the water with a rapidly growing lump on his head.
Following this figure Asui leapt 10 metres out of the water, peering at her surroundings. Before she could fall back into the water to the waiting shadows beneath, Izuku raced in catching he with his normal arm and carried them to the ship in the middle of the lake.
'Thanks for that Midoriya, it seems they sent us all to different parts of the USJ probably to kill us all.' Asui remarked dryly.
'Yeah it seems like it, I guess they didn't know what our quirks are though. I mean why would they send someone with a frog quirk to a lake?'
'My thoughts exactly. We should focus on getting back to the entrance and regrouping.'
'I didn't notice anyone else fall into the lake, so I think it's just us. What do you say we fry these chumps?' Izuku asked as he summoned a shock emitter.
With a nod from Asui, Izuku activated and dunked the emitter into the lake. The water filled with sparks before the shadow he had seen slowly floated to the surface.
'I think we need a better vantage point, hold onto me Asui'
'Just call me Tsu' she said as she hung onto his back.
With a click of his fingers Izuku felt his costume's harness lift him into the air back to the point where he had started falling from. It seemed to pause at the location where he was teleported, he quickly used ultrahand to suspend themselves in the air.
Gazing around at the USJ from the sky Izuku and Tsu were able to see a large sheet of ice covering the rockslide zone (probably Todoroki), Aizawa still fighting within the courtyard, a number of their class still standing at the top of the stairs and saw a bright flash from the ruins zone (definitely Bakugo).
'I think we should scout the other areas, we're close to the entrance now, so if we travel counter-clockwise we'll be able to check every zone.'
Tsu nodded to the idea and they quickly started flying towards the mountain zone. Izuku noticed the muscle strain as he carried another person. While Ultrahand was uncaring of the weight, the harness he wore was beginning to cut off circulation to his legs.
As they approached they heard the sounds of flesh meeting steal and for a moment worried that their classmates might be faring worse then themselves. A bright flash of lightning made them realise who had arrived here. Coming around the corner they noticed fourteen villains collapsed on the ground as a dumb looking Kaminari stood in the middle next to a grey mound.
'Weh'
'Good work sparky' Jiro said as she peeked out from under the insulation blanket.
'Hey guys, is everyone OK?' Izuku asked as he came to a landing, shaking his legs to return the blood flow.
'Oh Izuku, yes we're doing fine. I'm not sure how we're going to get Kaminari here back to the entrance though.' Momo remarked.
'Well I might have something for that, just give me a second'. He proceeded to summon a few fans, a glider, a control stick, a couple of batteries and a rocket.
Sticking it all together he unveiled his creation.
'Will that hold us?' Momo looked sceptical.
'What are you talking about? Of course it will.' He pointed to the clearly unaerodynamic wing with six fans attached to the back.
'I'm going to keep checking the other zones, I can make vehicles like this to get everyone back quicker. You should take Kaminari and head back. The batteries might not last very long so head straight there.
He had to argue a bit more but eventually was able to convince them to step aboard.
'Now Momo be careful when you grab the stick, the rocket will launch you up quickly to get off the ground but once it shatters you'll have to co took the fans. It's pretty intuitive so you shouldn't have too much of a problem, just try to slow yourself before you land.'
Steeling herself she counted down, Tsu and Jiro clutched tightly to the front of the wing and Kaminari.
'3,2... 1'
The tiny rocket propelled them into the air 35 metres up, almost scraping the dome, the fans switched on and the improvised plane began to soar towards the entrance.
Turning away Izuku lifted himself up and began to fly into the next zone. The icy rockslide zone was covered in villainous ice sculptures as he darted through the air. However hard he looked though he couldn't see any sign of Todoroki. He assumed that he would be able to handle himself and darted on into the fire zone.
It wasn't long before he saw a shadow snap out from above to deliver a kick to the head of one of the villians walking the street. Izuku following the shadow as it darted onto a rooftop found Ojiro, panting and sweatstained.
'Oh Midoriya, am I glad to see you. We have to get out of here, these guys are never ending. I swear I've knocked the same guy out three times already.'
'You've done well Ojiro, here take this' Izuku summoned a hoverbike into existence with Auto build before attaching two batteries to it, this should be able to carry you back to the entrance. Everyone is regrouping there, I'm just going to help get the others out.'
Nodding exhaustedly Ojiro mounted the bike and lifted into the air flying towards the giant doors of the USJ, which Izuku now noticed were cracked open. Filled with hope that Iida had been able to escape and get the message out, Izuku continued on.
The Squall zone was filled with tearing wind and blistering rain but more then that it was filled with monstrous screams. Quickening his pace Izuku saw a giant figure that seemed to drink in the light all around it, the only was the notice it was the rain bouncing off its solid form
'HAHAHHAA ISN'T THIS GREAT FUMI, IM THE STRONGEST. WE SHOULD JUST STAY LIKE THUS FOREVER.' The form cackled, Forcing Izuku to realise that this was Dark Shadow.
Summoning the first thing that came to his mind, three lights pierced into the figure causing it to shrink away. The monstrous form of Dark shadow continued to recede until it revealed an exhausted looking Tokoyami.
'My Thanks Midoriya, the darkness within me had battered my control, bolstered as it is by the lack of light' Tokoyami spoke as he grabbed Dark Shadow in a choke hold.
'I will ensure he is kept under control.'
Unnoticed by either of them Koda stuck out from behind a neighbouring building.
'Thanks for your help Midoriya, that was really scary'
Neither of the teens notice the voice and jumped when Koda waved his hand between them.
'Ah Koda, don't sneak up on us like that. Let us know when you're coming, jeez.'
Koda signed back a quick sorry.
Izuku quickly convinced the duo to head back to the entrance aboard the plane he had made earlier, with two less fans.
The ruins zone looked just what he expected it to look like. Unconscious bodies of villains were strewn everywhere, Izuku didn't bother looking for Bakugo Knowing he would be alright.
Having completed the loop Izuku started to fly towards the entrance. As he passed over the plaza however he saw the fallen body of his teacher, the beastly creature looming over him. Before he could arrive a blast from both sides hit the creature, one of ice, one of fire.
Bakugo and Kirishima stood to one side while Shinso and Todoroki stood to the other.
'What do you noobs think you're doing? Your level is far to low to try to defeat out tank.' The Hand man said.
The creature in a blur rushed towards Bakugo, Kirishima threw himself in front hardening his body as much as possible. His body was flung back a hundred metres only being stopped by a tree that splintered under the impact.
'Hey that's my cannonball dammit. DIEEEEE' Bakugo yelled as he unleashed one of his largest explosions point blank into the crwatures face.
The creature blinked before backhanding Bakugo sending his skidding across the plaza, landing in the lake on the other side.
Seeing this, Izuku dropped to the ground at the edge of the plaza and started summoning every weapon he could manage. He didn't bother with cannons, clearly if Bakugo's explosions didn't work, his weaker ones wouldn't.
He also summoned a construct head and homing cart, he had never been able to get them to focus before, but if this didn't read as enemy he didn't know what would.
With a quick punch the construct activated and began to slowly advance on the creature. In the mean time the monster had been getting progressively closer to Todoroki who kept spamming walls between them to slow the beast down.
The light show as the lasers, flame throwers, ice throwers and shock emitters lit up was amazing. The creatures skin started to boil as the weapons began to cut into the flesh, the smell of burnt meat filling the air. The creature seemed confused at what to do, this wasn't what it was ordered to kill, but it hurt it.
'Hurry up already Nomu, kill the kids.'
It's decision made for it, it continued to rush Todoroki, shattering his shields quicker and quicker. The lasers continued to pierce into the back of the creature, finally the flame and ice were within range. The charred smell got worse and worse as the creature's left leg froze and its right begn to get melted down to the bone.
Todoroki seeing this launched a rasor sharp spear of ice while the monster was off balance, punching through its torso and out its back. The creature slumped on the spike, filling the teens with joy.
'Nomu stop wasting time, break that candy cane.'
The Nomu clawed itself forward pushing the spike further in before with a flex shattering it. Shards of ice scattered everywhere as the hole in the Nomu's chest began to close. The homing cart then reached the creature, the shock emitter poked into the beast's leg and everyone present could see the muscles tense beneath the skin, threatening to burst free.
With a boom the Nomu launched back as every muscle in its body contracted, impacting into one of the tall buildings within the ruins zone. Everyone paused for a second to come to grips with what had just happened. Using this time the Hand man darted forward, quicker then the construct head could track, he laid his hand on the construct. Instantly the seperate components began to shatter, with a ripple of green sparks there was nothing left.
'NOMU, Get back over here.' He ordered with a yell.
The creature soon appeared, leaping through the air, only to be intercepted by a comet in the shape of Bakugo. Forgoing his larger explosion he instead made a tight tunnel with one hand, forming an improvised cannon with the other.
'AP SHOT'. The tightly compacted shockwaves cut through the creatures defences and muscles.
Instead of the controlled landing the creature tried to do it instead began to flip and tumble in the air. With a thud and a puff of dust it cratered into the ground of the plaza.
Izuku peered closely at the creature, noticing it getting back up, he also noticed that the creature was wearing pants thankfully. He snapped his fingers, and the creature was lifted back into the air returning back to the hole it had made in the ruins zone.
'What the hell is that Hacker?' The Hand man asked.
The three teens surrounded the hand man, ready to attack. Before they could however they heard a shriek as a net crashed into the villain.
Momo from the top of the stairs had fired a cannon at the villain. The Villain, who had fallen under the force of the blow, merely laid a hand on the net and it flaked away into nothingness.
Perturbed by the deadly seeming disintegration quirk on display, the teen nodded to each other and attacked.
Bakugo stayed in the air, raining down small explosions, Todoroki continued to send spike of ice and Midoriya picked up chunks of rubble and swung them at the villain with great force.
The Hand man Tsked and deftly evaded all of Bakugo's attacks. As the spikes of ice neared he touched them decaying them before they could do any damage. Before Izuku's boulder could be introduced to the villain head, Nomu reappeared in a blur of movement and caught it.
With the table's turned on them the teens began to backpedal, retreating from their foes until they clustered together.
From the stairs the cannon barked again as this time a fully fledged cannon ball slammed into the Nomu
And dropped harmlessly to the ground.
'Nomu, kill these brats', now moving at a speed they couldn't track, the Nomu struck Todoroki, who appeared covered in ice, sending him into the base of the stairs. Nomu then grabbed both Midoriya and Bakugo around the neck, with one meaty fist each. Nomu screeched in their faces, as Izuku felt himself begin to black out.
Izuku click his fingers, the Nomu slid back to where it had been before but didn't relinquish its hold. Before it could fly away it kicked its feet into the ground and resisted the pull. Bakugo also continued to fire a barrage of pellets into the creatures chest, to no effect.
'NEVER FEAR, BECAUSE I AM HERE' Came the booming voice of the symbols of piece. The shattered remains of the door crashed into the fountain in the middle of the plaza. No one present had seen such a look on the sometimes goofy hero. His eyed were shaded and menacing, and his dominating power was palpable.
'YOU'VE MADE A MISTAKE BY TARGETING MY STUDENTS VILLAIN.' In a blur he zig zagged between all the half unconscious lowlifes. Knocking them out fully and leaving them all in the recovery position. He stopped briefly at Aizawa's side, then returned him to the base of the stairs out of danger.
In the span of three seconds he had done all that and landed a mighty blow in the creature's face, it's grip slackened and both teens felt themselves get whisked away, they came to sitting next to Aizawa.
The beast's head, which had bent back from the blow, snapped back towards AllMight, it's Crazed eyes focused entirely on his tall form. With a screech the beast leapt at AllMight, unleashing a flurry of blows that shattered the sound barrier.
AllMight, not to be outdone, met each blow with one of his own.
'HA you fool, Nomu has been designed to kill you. It's shock absorption mean that nothing you can do can harm it.' The Hand man mocked.
'AH, SO ITS ONLY ABSORBTION. THAT MEANS IT HAS A LIMIT, LET ME SHOW YOU WATCH PLUS ULTRA MEANS VILLAIN.'
The titans blows accelerated quicker and quicker, the floor began to shatter where they stood. The shockwaves from the blows shook the entire dome, keeping everyone else back. Gradually the beast was being pushed back though, AllMights form was letting him land more blows as he forced the creature flat onto its back.
Nomu, not to be outdone, fought like a trapped animal, using its beak and claws to try to rip the hero apart.
'You're going to die AllMight' the Hand man yelled as he jumped into the fray. AllMight had to fight on two fronts, he used deflections on the man's wrists to avoid contact with his hands.
Beginning to be overwhelmed AllMight was forced back a step, his foot however didn't find solid ground. It plunged into a shadowy portal below, Nomu capitalising on the stumble grabbed Allmight around the torso, bending him back.
AllMight's lower body was sticking out of a portal above the Hand Man within arms reach.
'It's an honour to be the end of a legend' the cloudy figure spoke.
'Say goodbye Allmight, your era of piece is over' as they reached up to lay a hand on the heroes leg.
Izuku and Bakugo came flying across the plaza, stood shoulder to shoulder on top of a rocket sled they unleashed dual attacks. Izuku grabbed the hand on the villains face shoving him back, Bakugo sent tight explosions into the Achilles tendon of the Nomu. This culminated when the sled smashed into the apparent leader, jackknifing his body.
With that disturbance Allmight forced himself back upright. He lifted the Nomu and slamdunked the body onto the leader. Unable to stop himself the leader reactively put his hand out, turning the Nomu to dust.
'No No No No, you cheated. You can't use friendly fire. You didn't win, I'm going to kill you' the leader screamed in hysteria scratching his neck till it bled
'Young Tomura, it's over. We should retreat for now', the cloud spoke as it recollected itself.
With a grunt he walked into the portal.
