The morning after I was rescued, Korra wouldn't leave my side. She piled plates in front of me and I dug in happily. "This food is so good." I said happily. "Thank you so much, Pema, you didn't need to…but I am starting to feel a little more like myself.

"We're so thankful you're home safe." Pema said, standing. She walked over and took my empty plates.

"Let me help." Asami requested, standing and moving to help the pregnant Air Acolyte.

"Yunoh, I realize you've been through a lot, but I need to know everything that happened." Tenzin said. I took a deep breath.

"Well, the first thing you should all know…is Tarrlok is lying about who he is." I stated. "He's Yakone's son.

"It all makes sense now." Lin realised. "That's how Tarrlok was able to Bloodbend us without a full moon."

"But how did you escape?" Tenzin asked. "And where's Tarrlok?" I tensed a little.

"I uh…" I started softly. "Before I escaped…Amon showed up. I don't know what happened, but I think he took Tarrlok's bending."

"What?" Tenzin demanded. I nodded a little.

"I don't know how he found us, but…he almost got me as well."

"This is very disturbing news. Amon is becoming emboldened. Taking out a councilman, almost capturing the Avatar...I fear Amon is entering his endgame." Mako then stood and walked out.

"Yunoh, why don't I give you a quick healing session." Korra suggested.

"Sure." I agreed with a small nod. The two of us stood and headed to the bathroom. As Korra filled the tub, I stripped to my undergarments. I got in the chilled water when it was full enough. The entire bath shone a pale blue as Korra bent the water around me to finish healing me. I sighed gently and leaned back in the bath.

"I am really glad you're safe." Korra said gently. "I was really worried about you."

"I know." I turned to Korra as I spoke. "But, I'm alive."

"Look, I know this isn't the best time to ask something like this, but it's been something that I've noticed…do you…like Asami?" My eyes widened and I flailed in the bathtub.

"What?!" I sputtered. "Me…uh…Asami?"

"I see the way you look at her." Korra finished healing and lent on the edge of the bathtub. 'It's the same look Mum and Dad give each other."

"The…same way you look at Mako, yeah?" Korra looked away and flushed. I smiled a little. "It's ok, Korra, I won't tell anyone."

"I think Asami knows. I uh…I kissed Mako."

"Korra." I groaned. "Kissing someone who's already dating?"

"I know, I know, it's bad." Korra put her hands over her face.

"It's ok." I assured. I then sighed. "Look at us, the Southern Water Tribe girls in love with Fire Nation Natives." Korra chuckled.

"Come on." Korra said, standing. "Let's head back, you don't want to get all pruney." Before I could fully get out of the tub, I heard faint explosions. Korra and I shared a nervous look before I quickly changed back into my clothes and we rushed outside to meet Lin, Mako, Bolin and Asami not too far behind. "We heard explosions. What's going on?"

"Republic City is under attack." Lin stated. I put my hands over my mouth.

"No…" I breathed.

"What do we do?" Bolin asked. It then clicked…this was my job. This was my call. I took a deep breath, straightening.

"Ok." I started, my hands falling and turning to my Team Avatar. "This is the plan. We're heading into Republic City to check out the situation. Once we do recon, we come right back." Korra's face steeled, and she nodded. We got onto a boat and headed to Republic City. When we got off, Mako tied it to the dock to stop it from floating away.

"Where did you say you parked the car?" Asami said.

"Oh, a nice resident from the Dragon Flats Burrows drove it and parked it…" I pointed to the car that was parked off to the side. "There you go." We approached the car, which had a multitude of tickets pinned under the wipers. Bolin grabbed them and inspected them.

"How are we going to pay for all these parking tickets?" Bolin wondered. Mako then grabbed the tickets from his brother's hands, balling them up and setting them all aflame to the horror of the Earthbender.

"Relax, the city is under attack." Mako said. "The police have more important things to worry about." Asami closed the trunk of the car, slipping on an electrified glove.

"This will come in handy." She said. Korra got in the back seat, followed by Bolin. Asami got in the driver's seat, but then when Mako went to take the passenger side, Asami gave him the stink eye. "Why don't you sit in the back?" She wondered sarcastically. "With Korra."

"I think I will." Mako then hopped in the back. I slid into the passenger seat and closed the door. Asami started to drive through the city.

"Are you ok?" I asked Asami softly.

"I'm fine." She muttered. I nodded before leaning back in my seat. We headed towards the RCPD, only to notice that it had been overrun with Mecha Tanks…new and improved. "Watch out!" I warned as Bolin stood. "Some of them have officers with them!"

"Got it!" Bolin said. He created a ramp for the car to race up.

"Jump!" Asami shouted. That's what we did, before the car could launch, we bailed, and let the car crash into one of the Mecha Tanks. While Mako and Bolin took on a pair of them, Korra and I started to focus on another. Korra brought water to it to disable it, while I then used my Earthbending to knock it off kilter and sent it crashing to the floor. Mako was struggling with another Mecha Tank, but Tenzin appeared and sent it up into the air. Once all of the Mecha Tanks and Equalists were dealt with, I approached Tenzin.

"Are you ok?" I asked woridly.

"I'm fine." Tenzin assured. "Thank you kids. Another moment later and I would have been on my way to Amon."

"Uh…guys?" Mako called. "Look." He pointed through the city, where we could see Air Temple Island…and an Equalist Air Ship nearing the peaceful dwelling.

"Come on!" Korra encouraged. "We have to get back to the Island!" Tenzin pulled a whistle from his robes and blew it. Oogi showed up, and we all got on him.

"Yip Yip." Tenzin called, snapping Oogi's reigns and the Sky Bison took into the air, heading towards Air Temple Island. When we landed, we saw a group of chained Equalists being led toward the basement by some White Lotus sentries.

"Dad!" Jinora exclaimed, racing up to her father with her siblings. Tenzin got off Oogi and embraced his children. We followed after him.

"Oh, thank goodness you're all right!" Tenzin sighed.

"We caught the bad guys!" Meelo stated from Tenzin's shoulders. Tenzin then turned to Lin who was standing around.

"You let them fight? Do you realize what could have happened?"

"I would have been toast if it weren't for your kids." Lin said as she folded her arms. "You should be proud. You taught them well. Go on, be with your wife." Tenzin then walked off with his children. "So, what happened on the mainland?" We explained to her what we had done, but before anyone could say anything, Bolin saw something in the distance.

"Airships!" He exclaimed. I turned and saw that indeed, more Airships were heading toward the Island.

"I'll go get Tenzin." I said softly. I headed inside, pausing when I saw Tenzing cradling his newborn baby. "Tenzin." I started, stepping forward. Him and his family looked to me. "I'm really sorry…but there are more Airships heading to the island."

"Everything's not gonna be fine, is it, Daddy?" Ikki asked softly. Tenzin handed his baby to Pema and followed me out of the temple to the courtyard, watching the Airships come closer.

"What do you want to do, Tenzin?" Korra asked.

"I need to protect my family, and get them as far away from this conflict as possible" Tenzin stated. "If Amon got his hands on my children…I hate to even think of it."

"If you're leaving, then I'm going with you." Lin told him.

"But-" Lin lifted her hand.

"No arguments. You and your family are the last Airbenders. There's no way in the world I'm letting Amon take your bending away."

"Thank you, Lin." Tenzin then turned to me. "Yunoh, I want you to leave this island and hide for the time being." He said.

"Are you sure?" I asked softly. Tenzin nodded.

"I sent word to the United Forces. They will be here soon. And once my family is safe, I will return. With the reinforcements, we can turn the tide in this war."

"Be paitent." I confirmed. "Wait for the right opportunity to strike." Tenzin set a hand on my shoulder.

"You're learning well." With the help of the Air Acolytes, Tenzin and his family were ready to leave. Tenzin and I shared a short hug before he left. "Stay safe, Yunoh."

"I've got Korra, Mako, Bolin and Asami with me." I told him with a smile. "I'm the safest Avatar in the world. You should be safe as well."

"Tenzin, if we're leaving, we'd better do it now." Lin said from Oogi's saddle. Tenzin Airbent himself onto Oogi's head, grabbing his reigns.

"Oogi, Yip Yip." Tenzin ordered. Oogi lifted into the sky and flew into the distance. More Equalist Airships then arrived, cables shooting into the ground near my friends and I. The White Lotus Sentries ran to block us from the attack.

"Go!" One ordered. "We'll hold them off."

"Thank you." I said gratefully. "Everyone! On Nuki and Naga!" I raced up to my Polar Bear Dog and hauled myself onto her saddle, racing down and grabbing Asami's arm to pull her up next to me. Saria curled up around my neck. "Let's go Nuki." I encouraged. Nuki let out a small roar as she bounded after Naga, which held Korra, Mako and Bolin. As we headed through the Island, Bolin let out a shout.

"Moustace Guy!" He cried. Indeed, the Lutenient had lept down to try and attack us. Naga jumped up and batted him away.

"Nice one Naga." Korra complimented. We dove into Yue Bay, Korra and I creating a bubble around our Polar Bear Dogs and our companions, swimming underwater to avoid suspicion. We eventually did make it to Republic City, and climbed into a large sewer pipe, big enough to hide us. I stood at the end of the hole, my eyes welling with tears at the island that was now overrun with Equalist Airships. I felt a hand on my arm, and turned to see Asami.

"Yunoh?" She said softly. "Come on, we shouldn't be exposed like this." Asami wrapped her arm around me and lead me deeper through the sewerage pipe. I just hope that we weren't to late to save the City when reinforcements arrived.
