I believe I made a mistake near the end of the previous chapter. I hope this remedies it~!
Velvet and Makoto return to their seats. "By the way, I noticed that you didn't use those two cards you set face down near the beginning of our duel… Why?" Velvet brought up to Makoto.
"...Vel. I'm gonna be honest. I kinda forgot about them~!" Makoto answered.
"You… forgot about them?" Velvet repeated before slamming her palm to her face and sighing. "I should've lost, and you just HAD to forget at the…! Ugh…" She groaned.
"I know… My memory stinks…" Makoto deflated in her seat.
"...What were your two set cards?"
"They were both Fire Formation cards. Tensen and Tenken…"
"And they do… what exactly?"
"Tensen increases a Beast-Warrior type monster's Attack Points by 700 while Tenken negates the effect of a Beast-Warrior but renders them immune to other cards and effects except its own. And while they're on the field, they each give an extra 300 Attack Points to each Beast-Warrior type monster on my side of the field."
"...Makoto. If I was an enemy of the school, you would've had your soul stolen."
"I know…"
"Or worse, you could've actually turned into a card."
"I know…!"
"Or even worse, YOU COULD'VE DIED."
"I know, I know, I know, I know, I know!" Makoto repeated in irritation. "I know I could've had ALL THOSE THINGS done to me, but COME ON! I couldn't help it! I'm a stupid squirrel girl! Just admit it!"
"Makoto…" Velvet let out, seeing her tears. "...You're not stupid. You just… get caught up in the moment, that's all. I'm sorry for raising my voice a little… I'm just worried about you."
"...I know… And I'm sorry for making you mad." Makoto apologized.
"I'm not mad." Velvet shook her head. "Just remember next time, okay?" She asked, petting Makoto's squirrel ears. Makoto could only sniff then nod.
Makoto Nanaya. Velvet Crowe. A Squirrel-type Beastkin, a human with more than one animal trait, and a human turned into a Therion, a demon that eats other demons. These two were shunned by society because of what they are. Makoto was shunned for looking even a little bit like the Faunus, the race causing terrorism in Remnant. Velvet was shunned for becoming a demon that can consume anyone, regardless of what race they are, believing that if they are not careful, they could be eaten by Velvet's left arm. Makoto, however, eventually found friends in Tsubaki Yayoi and Noel Vermillion. These two would be her first friends of the human race. With Velvet, however, she became a Therion because of a sudden and horrid event. She has been lonely ever since. After attending the school, Makoto and Velvet warmed up to each other and unexpectedly became fast friends. The two represent the light and darkness of their friendship.
Two names were flashing right next to Mako and Rindo's names before they suddenly stop. "The next two duelists are… Sayaka Maizono against Miu Iruma." Satsuki announced. Two more young ladies, one with long blue hair and one with long blonde hair arrived.
"Get ready, little miss idol. I'm about to rock your pretty, little, fragile world!" The blonde haired lady, Miu, boasted.
"Hehe~ I look forward to that, but not just yet, Miu~" The blue haired lady, Sayaka, replied before the two draw their cards and pull out their Duel Disks.
"The talking has been terminated. It is now time to…!"
"DUEL!"
SAYAKA LP: 4000
MIU LP: 4000
"I have an L for my card." Sayaka said.
"How appropriate. I've got an A. But for your sake, I'll let you go first~" Miu replied.
Cue: Discussion -BREAK- (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc)
"I'll start this duel by summoning Live*Twin Lil-La!" Sayaka accepts as she summons a young lady in a white and blue outfit.

"Now, I'll use her effect! When Lil-La is Normal Summoned and I control no other monsters, I can Special Summon a Ki-Sikil monster from my hand or deck! So come on out, Live*Twin Ki-Sikil Frost!" She commanded as she summoned a young pink haired lady in an outfit for the frosty weather.

"Open! Circuit that leads to hearts! Summoning conditions are two monsters, one of which includes a Ki-Sikil monster! Go, Ki-Sikil Frost and Lil-La!" She ordered as the two went into the arrows pointing down and pointing right. "Link Summon! Show your smile! Link 2: Evil*Twin Ki-Sikil!" She exclaimed, summoning an older, yet more evil version of the Ki-Sikil monster.

"Wow. And here I thought you had the hots for the lucky guy. Turns out you're into girls~" Miu teased.
"What? What makes you think that?" Sayaka blinked.
"Oh, just the fact that I heard a little rumor~" Miu shrugged. "I heard that girls that play that deck are actually attracted to girls more than boys~"
Pause Song
"...Miu. You should be ashamed of yourself." Sayaka scolded.
"WHAT ARE YOU, MY MOM!?" Miu shouted indignantly.
Resume Song
"I'm activating Ki-Sikil's effect! During the Main Phase, if I do not control a Lil-La monster, I can Special Summon one from my graveyard! This also prevents me from Special Summoning monsters from the Extra Deck except Fiend type monsters. Come back! Live*Twin Lil-La!"

"Open again! Circuit that leads to hearts! Summoning condition is two monsters, including a Lil-La monster! I'm sending Lil-La and Ki-Sikil to the Link Markers!" Sayaka continued, sending the two to an arrow pointing down and an arrow pointing left. "Link Summon! Appear! Link 2: Evil*Twin Lil-La!" She exclaimed, summoning a more demonic version of Lil-La

"Now for her effect! When she is Special Summoned while I control a Lil-La monster, I can draw one card! Open one more time! Circuit that leads to hearts! Summoning condition is two or more monsters, one of which includes an Evil*Twin monster! Go forth, Evil*Twins Ki-Sikil and Lil-La!" Sayaka ordered as the two went into four arrows after separating themselves into spirals of power. Those spirals went into an arrow pointing up, an arrow pointing left, an arrow pointing down, and an arrow pointing right. "The fragile workings of a clock begin to run, monotony and apathy infect from afar! Depravity beckons! Link Summon! Let your despair awaken! Link 4: Evil*Twin's Trouble Sunny!" She chanted, summoning two ladies, one short and one tall. The short one has spiraling blonde hair while the tall one has silver short hair.

"I place one card face down and end my turn." Sayaka stated, doing so.
"Okay, you ain't getting away with what you just said, bitch." Miu growled.
"Well? I'm waiting." Sayaka provoked Miu.
"Oh, now you're just asking for it! I'll GLADLY give it to ya! I draw! I'm summoning Appliancer Breakerbuncle!" Miu started as she summoned a carbuncle that looks like the end of a circuit breaker.

"Next, I'm activating the Spell Where Arf Thou?!" Miu exclaimed, showing a Spell that features a kid looking for his dog. "Since I control a level 1 monster, I can add another level 1 monster from my deck to my hand! I'll add Appliancer Socketroll! Next, I'm activating Machine Duplication!" She continued, showing machines getting duplicated on the Spell she just activated. "This allows me to Special Summon two more Breakerbuncles!"
"Before you do that, allow me to chain Maxx C! By discarding this card, each time you Special Summon a monster, I get to draw one card!" Sayaka interrupted before the Breakerbuncles are summoned, allowing her to draw a card.

"What the hell…!? Whatever! Open! Circuit that leads to my desires! Summoning conditions are two Appliancer monsters! I'm sending two Breakerbuncles to the Link Markers!" Miu declared, the two going into the arrow that points down and left and then the arrow that points down. "Link Summon! Link 2: Appliancer Celtopus!" She exclaimed, summoning an octopus that has the properties of an extension cord.

"Next, since I control an Appliancer monster, I can Special Summon Appliancer Socketroll!" Miu kept going, summoning a troll that looked like a socket.

"I then Special Summon Jester Confit!" Miu told her, summoning a jester standing on a ball.

"Keep it coming…"
"Oh, I will! Appear again! Circuit that leads to my desires! This time, the conditions are two effect monsters! I'm sending my last Breakerbuncle and my Jester Confit to the Link Markers!" Miu kept on going, sending Jester and Breakerbuncle into the top and bottom arrows. "Link Summon! Appear, Link 2: Codebreaker Virus Swordsman!" She commanded as she summoned a cybernetic man wielding a dangerous sword.

"When Virus Swordsman is Special Summoned and co-linked, I can Special Summon Codebreaker Zero Day from my hand, deck, or graveyard to a zone that my Celtopus points to! Come on out, Codebreaker Zero Day!" Miu ordered, summoning a cybernetic-like superhero.

"Jackpot~"
"You wish. Any other day, it could've been. Open again! Circuit that leads to my desires! Summoning conditions are two or more monsters, including a Codebreaker monster! Virus Swordsman and Zero Day, you know what to do!" Miu growled, sending the two into three arrows: One at the top, one at the bottom, and one at the right. "Come forth! Link 3: Codebreaker Virus Berserker!" She shouted, summoning a cybernetic berserker.

"Wow, you're actually giving me too much."
"That's what she said."
"...Really?"
"When Virus Berserker is summoned and co-linked, I can Special Summon up to two Codebreaker monsters from my hand and/or graveyard to zones that my Link Monsters point to! Zero Day, and Virus Swordsman, welcome back!"
ATKs: 1800 and 2300 respectively.
"I draw for that…"
"Virus Berserker's effect! During the Main Phase, I can destroy Spells and traps up to the number of Codebreaker monsters I control that are linked! I control three, but I'll make due with just one. Your face down card!" Miu smirked, destroying Sayaka's face down card. "Open for the fourth time! Circuit that leads to my desires! Summoning condition is two or more Warrior monsters! I'll send Virus Berserker and Zero Day to the Link Markers!" Miu declared, sending Berserker to the bottom arrows and Zero Day to the right arrow. "Battle on! Link 4: Gouki the Powerload Ogre!" She exclaimed, summoning an ogre with powerful fists.

"Another draw for me…"
"Open one more time! Circuit that leads to my desires! Summoning condition is one Appliancer monster! Go, Socketroll!" Miu ordered, sending Socketroll into the top arrow. "Clean house! Link 1: Appliancer Laundry Dragon!" She called forth, summoning a dragon shaped washing machine.

"With all these cards in my hand, I bet I can defeat you when my turn comes~!" Sayaka boasted.
"...You serious? You're screwed THIS turn!" Miu counter-boasted. "Laundry Dragon attacks Trouble Sunny!"
"What are you doing? Trouble Sunny has too much power compared to Laundry Dragon!" Sayaka told Miu.
"Please. Neither player takes any battle damage from battles involving Laundry Dragon. What's more, if Laundry Dragon battles a monster while it's not co-linked, that monster is destroyed after the battle and you take damage equal to its Attack Points!"
Trouble Sunny destroys Laundry Dragon, but Laundry Dragon's clothes that were inside of it suddenly turn into needles and rain down on Trouble Sunny.
"I'll chain Trouble Sunny's effect! By tributing it, I can Special Summon 1 Ki-Sikil monster and 1 Lil-La monster! I Special Summon my Evil*Twins!" Sayaka declared, summoning the two Evil*Twins, avoiding Laundry Dragon's effect.
ATKs: 1100 each
"And now for their effects! Ki-Sikil allows me to draw one card! And when Lil-La is Special Summoned while I control a Ki-Sikil monster, I can destroy one card on the field! I'll choose Celtopus!"
Lil-La strikes lightning onto Celtopus, destroying it. "Gh! Whenever an Appliancer Link monster that is not co-linked to Celtopus is destroyed by battle or a card effect, I get to draw a card! Not that I'll need it~ And now it's time to battle! Gouki the Powerload Ogre attacks Evil*Twin Ki-Sikil!" Miu grunted as Powerload Ogre went to attack Ki-Sikil. "Oh, and before I forget, Powerload Ogre gains 200 Attack Points multiplied by the combined Link Rating of every other Link monster I control! Virus Swordsman is a Link 2, therefore, Gouki gains 400 Attack Points!"
PO ATK: 2800 + 400 = 3200
Powerload Ogre destroys Ki-Sikil.
ATK DIFFERENCE: 3200 - 1100 = 2100
SAYAKA LP: 4000 - 2100 = 1900
"Virus Swordsman attacks Lil-La! I then play the Quick-Play Spell Rush Recklessly!" Miu smirked, showing a Spell that features a charging warthog. "This card increases the Attack Points of a monster on the field by 700! I'll choose Virus Swordsman!"
"Oh no!" Sayaka gasped in realization.
VS ATK: 2300 + 700 = 3000
Virus Swordsman cuts Lil-La in half, making her explode and making Sayaka scream in defeat.
ATK DIFFERENCE: 3000 - 1100 = 1900
SAYAKA LP: 1900 → 0
WINNER: MIU IRUMA

"Whew… Be glad. I actually gave my all to beat you in that one turn." Miu complimented.
"Guh… To think my idols could be beaten so easily…" Sayaka grumbled.
"You actually did pretty good, all things considered. Just not good enough~" Miu taunted as she went to her seat. Sayaka sneers at her before going to her seat.
"Next time…!" Sayaka swore to herself. "Next time, you're going down…! I swear it!"
Two names appeared next to Velvet and Makoto's names. …Which, now that I think about it, made me realize as I'm writing this, I'm thinking this was a mistake…
"Mina Ashido will now face Cloud Strife." Satsuki stated. A pink haired young lady with equally pink skin, black eyes with yellow irises and twin lightning bolt-shaped horns walked to the stage along with a man with spiky blonde hair.
"I can't wait to show you my best desserts~!" Mina exclaimed happily.
"Hmph." Cloud huffed.
""Hmph"? Is that all you have to say? Just "Hmph"?"
"Not really." Cloud shrugged. "Just that your desserts will crumble."
"Oh, it is ON!" Mina growled excitedly as the two pulled their Disks out.
"I hope you two get along regardless of who wins or loses. Either way, it is time to…!"
"DUEL!"

"The letter on my bottom card is… M!"
"B for me. Which means I get to decide who goes first."
Cue: Let the Battles Begin! (Final Fantasy VII REMAKE)
I'll go first. I'll summon Sage With Eyes Of Blue!" Cloud started as he summoned a man with white hair and blue eyes.

"When this card is Normal Summoned, I get to add a level 1 Tuner monster from my deck to my hand. I'll add Buster Whelp the Destruction Swordsman. Next, I'll set a card. Open! Circuit that leads to power! Summoning condition is a level 1 monster! I'll send my Sage to the Link Marker!" Cloud declared as he sends the Sage into the bottom Link Marker. "Appear! Link 1: Linkuriboh!" He shouted, summoning an adorable cybernetic creature.

"You have a Linkuriboh!? Why didn't you tell me~!?" Mina squeed in joy.
"This is exactly why…" Cloud sighed.
"Oh, I get it~ You're shy, aren't you, Cloud~?" Mina teased.
"What…!? No! Gh… Whatever! I end my turn." Cloud finished his turn.
"Deny it all you want, but I'm revealing it all in this duel! My turn! I draw! I'll start my turn by summoning Madolche Mewfeuille!" Mina begins as she summons a cat accompanied by a Mille-Feuille.

"Now I'll use its effect! When Mewfeuille is summoned, I can Special Summon another Madolche monster from my hand!"
"I'll chain the trap Prologue of the Destruction Swordsman." Cloud interrupted, showing a trap card that features a powerful dragon slayer facing off against a dragon. "By sending a Destruction Sword card and a Buster Blader from my deck to the graveyard, except Prologue, I can Special Summon Buster Dragon from my Extra Deck or graveyard. However, when I do, it's destroyed during the end of the next turn. Come forth, Buster Dragon!" He commanded as he summoned a black dragon with white feathers.

"While Buster Dragon is on the field, all monsters on your side of the field become Dragon-type monsters. This'll be important, so keep that in mind."
"I'll be sure to do that as I Special Summon Madolche Messengelato with my Mewfeuille's effect!" Mina exclaimed as she summoned a young messenger stopping by a gelato-shaped mailbox.
ATK: 1600
"When Messengelato is Special Summoned, I get to add a Madolche Spell or Trap from my deck to my hand! Now I'll activate the Field Spell Madolche Chateau!" Mina continued as she summoned a chateau filled with all kinds of desserts. "Now for Chateau's effect! As long as this card's on the field, all of my Madolche monsters gain 500 Attack Points! Power up, Mewfeuille and Messengelato!"
ATKs: 500 + 500 = 1000 and 1600 + 500 = 2100 respectively.
"Battle! It pains me to do this, but I must do it so the truth comes out! Mewfeuille, attack Cloud's cute and adorable Linkuriboh!"
"I'm activating Linkuriboh's effect. By tributing itself when a monster attacks, your monster's Attack Points are reduced to 0 until the End Phase!" Cloud told her as Linkuriboh disappears.

"Gah. I set one card face down and end my turn." Mina stated.
ATK: 0 → 1000
"My turn. I draw! I'll place a card face down then use Buster Dragon's second effect! Once per turn, if there's a Buster Blader in my graveyard, I can Special Summon him!"
"Nuh-uh, no way! I'm activating the Counter Trap Madolche Nights!" Mina denied, showing a trap with the image of a bunch of Madolche monsters inside a castle at night. "When a monster's effect is activated and I have no monsters in my graveyard, your monster's effect is negated!"
"Tch. Fine. I'll Normal Summon Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman!" Cloud began as he summoned a white furred creature accompanied with a sword.
LV: 1
ATK: 400
"When Normal Summoned, I get to add one Destruction Sword card from my deck to my hand except Buster Whelp. Before that happens, I'll chain Linkuriboh's effect! By tributing a level 1 monster, my Buster Whelp, I can Special Summon him back to the field! Before THAT happens, I'll chain the effect of my Destruction Sword Memories from my graveyard! By banishing it from my graveyard, I can Fusion Summon Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman from my Extra Deck by banishing materials for him from my graveyard. I banish Buster Whelp and Buster Blader! Almighty dragonslayer, fuse with the sword-wielding dragon and bring enemies to their knees! Make them howl and hollow! Fusion Summon! Appear now! Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman!" Cloud roared as he summoned a powerful dragonslayer with white and blue armor wielding a magical sword.

"Now, since I tributed Buster Whelp for the effect of Linkuriboh, Linkuriboh special summons itself!"
ATK: 300
"While Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman is on the field, all of your Dragon type monsters are switched to defense position. And don't forget that Buster Dragon treats all of your monsters as Dragon type monsters!" Cloud declared as Mewfeuille and Messengelato cower and switched to defense position before Buster Blader's roar.
"That may be, but Madolche Chateau increases their Defense Points as well as their Attack Points!" Mina told him.
DEFs: 300 + 500 = 800 and 1000 + 500 = 1500 respectively.
"With Buster Whelp's effect, I add another Prologue of the Destruction Sword to my hand. I then switch Buster Dragon to Attack Position."
ATK: 1200
"Battle! Buster Blader attacks Madolche Mewfeuille!" Cloud proclaimed as Buster Blader charged at Mewfeuille.
"Not my cute kitty! A-At least I won't take any damage from this battle! A-And besides, attacking with Buster Blader first is a big mistake! Buster Dragon can't take down Messengelato~" Mina boasted.
"It doesn't have to." Cloud said.
"Huh?"
"Buster Blader can inflict piercing battle damage. And what's more, he gains 1000 Attack and Defense Points for each Dragon-type monster you control or in your graveyard. Furthermore, your Dragon type monsters cannot activate their effects." Cloud stated. "There are currently two Dragon type monsters on your field thanks to the effect of Buster Dragon."
BBTDDS ATK: 2800 + 2000 = 4800
"Oh. That's just enough, isn't it…?" Mina asked in dread. "Uh…"
SLASH
Before Mina could protest, her Mewfeuille was cut in half before it exploded, causing her to scream in defeat.
ATK/DEF DIFFERENCE: 4000 - 800 = 4000
MINA LP: 4000 → 0
WINNER: CLOUD STRIFE

Mina skidded from the explosion to a halt before falling to her knees, the crowd massively impressed by Cloud's OAK (One Attack Kill). "Oh… Dang it…!" She exclaimed as she hung her head in shame. Cloud walks to Mina and offers a hand up. "Oh…" She let out before chuckling. "And they say chivalry is dead~" She flirted before taking his hand up.
"Couldn't let you just sit there in shame." Cloud said. "That's all." He grunted before leaving for his seat.
"Yeah, keep telling yourself that~"
