There was a highly guarded building on the outskirts of Konoha, from the outside it only looked as a single-floored house but in reality it hosted many things underground including including an infiltration-proof meeting room. In that room there is a rectangular table and a total of five people sit around it. Naruto the Hokage and Gaara the Kazekage sat facing each other, the leader of the Land of Iron and the leader of the grass village sat on the left side while the leader of the waterfall village and the leader of the rain village sat on the right side. The grass village had newly joined the alliance feeling threatened from Iwagakure. All the leaders' advisers had come with them and stood near their respective village's leader.

" So, what shall we do for the moment?" Starts the lord of the land of Iron.

" Our best option is to attack first and with lightning speed, bring them to our knees and sue for peace on our terms." replies Gaara.

" It's not as simple as that lord Kazekage." saying this The leader of the land of Iron takes a map from his advisor and spreads it on the table for everyone to see.

" This red line you see on the border of the land of fire and the land of Earth," The lord continued, " Is a defensive line built by Iwa that is almost impenetrable. There are tall and thick walls defended by thousands of shinobi and filled with special traps exclusive to Iwa and some being from Kumo, that means we don't know what lies there and thus an assault attack will be a suicide plan. I suggest we take out the smaller villages of their faction first and then move on to the bigger ones. Besides my spies have told me that Iwa and Kumo plan to extend the defense line into Kumo's territory so we must act quickly."

" You are certainly wise lord of the land of Iron, but you should also know that we will be giving them just extra time to build the defense line if we ignored them, I have seen the efficiency of earth release users from Iwa and I can say the time provided to them in this plan will suffice to complete the defenses." the leader of the hidden grass village spoke.

And as such debate and discourse continued amongst the leaders with their advisors interfering time to time when felt the need, at last Shikamaru Nara of the hidden leaf proposed a plan that was agreed upon by all. It was as such -

" Our immediate responsibility shall be to eliminate the opposing faction in the hidden rain village." It had been that Amegakure was in a civil war for many years between a usurper and the original leader, the original leader supported the leaf while the usurper supported Kumo. eliminating the opposing faction meant the whole power of Amegakure will be on the leaf's side.

" We should but also send some teams to sabotage the defense line preparations and one team to go and cause some trouble in either of the opposing villages to direct their attention there so that they won't be able to mobilise for a while."

This plan had been proposed by Shikamaru Nara and thus one objected it.

" What? there is a war going on?" Boruto znd Sarada both shouted together after hearing the news their sensei Konohamaru and told them.

" Yes indeed, we are in a war against Kumo, Iwa, Kiri and several minor villages. We have also been assigned a mission." Konohamaru said.

" What? we are already being deployed to the front lines?" questioned Boruto, but to his relief Konohamaru told him that thd mission was to take a sealing scroll to Sunagakure which will be used in the resealing of the one-tailed Shukaku.

Alright the real action will start in the next chapter.

I looked at the Naruto world's map and thought for a while, then it occured to me that the factions were unfair. So I have planned to add a few more minor villages to the side of Konoha in the future, come on man Kumo has two other great nations and several tailed beasts on it's side. I plan to involve real strategy in this and not just pure action, Kishimoto had a golden opportunity to make some Game of thrones stuff in Naruto with this world but he ignored it, I won't.
