Authors Note: Ok this one will be an interesting one and is a small pet project, only cause the crossover is with a show probably not well known. This will be between Ben 10 and R.L Stines the Haunting Hour. I thought of this for many reasons :
It is paranormal and supernatural, stuff which Ben has done on a daily basis. It will be fun to see how Ben deals with some of these weird situations, some of which he dealt with himself.
Ben is a hero, but the interesting thing about putting him in this dilemma is for some of these people, It is going to take more than Ben just going hero to save the day. Some of these people found themselves in these situations due to their own actions, and while they probably did not deserve the fate that had fallen upon them, He will have to help these people change for the better if they want to avoid their dark fate.
Similar to the two above points, Ben is a hero and will try his best, but some of this stuff he has not dealt with before. He has dealt aliens mainly, human criminals and the occasional magic user. He has not dealt with legit werewolves, mummies, ghosts( and I mean real ones, not alien ones like the alien werewolf, mummy and Ghostfreak). So seeing how Ben handles this will be fun.
Also with this you get to choose what order Ben helps these people and how he helps them, and if he succeeds or if everything goes as in the canon story. Now lets get started! This will just be an introduction chapter but it is where the first choice will be made.

Ok here we go, we are starting at the end of the summer in the original Ben 10 series when Ben wakes up in a strange place and meets Fate Herself to allow him to help these people.
No ones P.O.V.
Ben stirred, groaning as he woke up from his slumber. When he opened his eyes and looked around, He jumped up and was startled that he seemed to be on a floating platform in an endless black void.
''Where am I?! I was just in the R.V. and was taking a nap after we dropped off Cooper?'' Ben asked startled. He remembered the events just prior to his nap. He and his family plus a kid they met named Cooper who was a grandchild of a plumber and a friend of Ben's grandpa Max, had just stopped the Negative 10, a 10 person group of some of Ben's enemies , Lead by the leader of the Forever Knights, The Forever King. They had just dropped Cooper off a few hours ago when Ben, who was exhausted by the fight decided to snooze off for a bit. Now he was hear in some strange void.
''I don't know what this is, is it the Null Void?'' Ben asked himself, referring to the alternate prison dimension where the most dangerous alien criminals were kept. But to Ben this didn't seem like it, as the null void at least from the one time he was there had floating rocks and a few strange creatures living here. This was nothing but a black void. Ben decided to talk around and get some bearings, seeing if he could find anyone or anything in this place
After a few minutes of walking with nothing, Ben heard the sound of static. He turned and looked all over, his hand raised above the omnitrix in case any threat was here. But he was shocked when multiple Static T.V. screens appeared. Their blue glow lightened up the darkness. Ben did not know what to make of this
''What the—'' was all Ben could say before the screens, dozens of them if not hundreds showed scenes, and if Ben had to say some were rather horrifying and gruesome to watch. He saw some people die, and some by horrible means. Some of them were just kids like him! He saw different things, Ghosts, Witches, Werewolves, and even some aliens.
''What is this?!'' Ben questioned in horror. Was this some sick twisted horror show or were these real events that were happening. Before he could process anymore, a voice startled him out of his stuper.
'' You will find out Young Ben '' a female voice said. Ben turned and saw a tall female with red hair, a long slender blue dress and black flats. Ben was shocked by the appearance of this woman, and not knowing if she was threat, he raised his hand to the watch but she waved her hand
''Calm down Ben I am not an enemy, rather an ally, one that needs your help I might add'' she said. Ben was skeptical but seeing as she didn't attack when she could have easily when he was asleep and he wasn't restrained, he decided to trust her for now, but he had some questions
'' Ok then but first some questions, like who are you and was it you who bought me here?'' Ben asked. She just smiled at that
''Right to the point I love that. To answer your second question, Yes I did bring you here, for something very important, and as for the first…. I am the personification of Fate'' she told Ben. Ben was confused by that
''Fate?'' He said confused. She laughed at that a little. A hero but he was still a child so of course he would be confused.
''Fate, Destiny, whatever you want to call it, I am that. I am what controls People's fate and destiny, and how their lives go, well mostly there are something's that happen that I do not control'' she said. Ben now had an understanding of what she was saying but that still did not explain why he was here
'' Ok that explains that but why did you bring me here? What is so important that you need me?'' he asked her. She went from smiling to serious. She pointed to the screens
''I bought you here to see what you have seen already, on the screens'' she said. Ben was shocked and turned to look at them. He remembered the horrible images. He looked and her and gulped
''You mean all those are real people and all those bad things happened to them'' He asked, nervous for the answer. Fate did not even say anything, she just nodded her head sadly.
'' It is how fate is young one, things are set in stone to happen in a certain way most of the time'' she said, then paused, ''however there is always a moment where things could have changed, been different but these people were too late. Some even bought these actions on themselves. While the crime they did in no way equals the punishment they received, It was fate it happened to them due to their actions'' She said. Ben was just sad hearing this. That is when she smiled
''That is why I bought you here, Ben Tennyson. I have watched you since you found that watch months ago, which actually was not apart of my doing. It was one of those rare accidents that happened. I was surprised by it, and am happy to see all the good you have done with it, despite a few bad things'' she said, frowning slightly. Ben could only smile sheepishly at that. He regained his composure and decided to ask
''Ok so these people have suffered horrible fates, what does that have to do with me'' He asked Fate. She smiled and says
'' I want you to help them'' She said. Ben was shocked by this
'' You want me to help them, why?'' he asked, even though he should know the answer to that. She just laughed a little at Ben's innocence and put a tender hand on his shoulder and looked him in his bright green eyes
''Because you're a hero who would do anything to save people, despite the odds being stacked against you and not even knowing what dangers you face, that is an admirable quality , which is why it makes you good to help these poor souls'' Fate said. Ben smiled at that and that is when decided to help
''Ok I'm in, let's do this!'' He said excited. Fate smiled at his eagerness to help others.
''Glad to hear it Ben'' she said smiling, though then her face turned serious and grim, which startled Ben.
''Ben, I do have to tell you one thing. You will only have one shot at save each of these people, if you fail, their fates are sealed, even the ones whose fate is death'' she warned, ''Also if you are killed in any of these encounters, I do not know if I can ever bring you back'' she warned. This shook Ben to the core a bit, but he was still determined to help, as that is what a true hero does. Ben smiled at her
''I know the risks, but I will still take on this mission, as that is what a true hero would do'' He said, smiling proudly. Fate smiled at him, knowing she picked the right person for the job.
'' Ok then, well what I shall do is very simple, I will pull up sets of three, and you pick which order you want to help them, but you will have to complete one set before starting the next'' she said. Ben nodded in understanding, and as he did, she pulled up three random photos, all female and older than him, being in their teens. Fate looked at Ben
''Ok Ben, choose your first mission'' She said. Ben walked up and looked at the photos with the names. He stopped at one and chose
''I choose…..
Ok it stops here, this is where the first choice is made by the viewers
