Hello Everyone.

I know it has been a good minute but fear not I did not forget about you all. I hope you all enjoy this chapter as well. Please let me know if you like chapters this size or if you would like bigger chapters. I have no qualms in writing bigger chapters. I will try to get a new chapter out at the very latest 2-3 weeks. More faster if the mood strikes ya know.

Chapter 3

Just as soon as Minato relays his message to the chunin he face plants the ground. Kushina sweat drops and Naruto rushes his father. "Tou-san, are you okay?!" Kushina Pulls Naruto back a little and explains, "Sochi don't worry. Your father just isn't used to making these long jumps. We have been gone for thirteen years. He is just tired is all."

Looking at his mother Naruto nods. One Chunin leaves to go relay the message to their Kage while the other watches the family at the gate. Having a couple questions of his own he walks up to Kushina.

"Um Kushina Uzumaki is it?"

Kushina looks towards the chunin, "Yes what is it?"

"I was just wondering if you really are Kushina Uzumaki and if that is Minato Namikaze. I mean the Elemental Nations heard of your deaths thirteen years ago and yet here you are like nothing happened."

Kushina smiles at this. "Oh don't worry or think about it to hard. It will most likely be explained later so just wait until then okay?" She asks in a sweet tone. The Chunin nods and walks back towards the gate. Naruto grabs his mother's hand to get her attention. "Kaa-san should we pick up Tou-san?"

Kushina looks at Naruto then back at Minato. She laughs a little bit and shakes her head, "No we will wait a bit. It will be his reminder to not rush things again." Hearing this Naruto nods his head and waits patiently.

*Raikage's Office*

Ay is sitting behind his desk going over some paperwork. He sets some papers down and looks up to the ceiling and lets out a long sigh, "I wish something would happen. Hell today is so boring I might even tolerate Bee's infernal rapping." While still looking at the ceiling he hears his door open and hears someone enter. "Lord Raikage."

Ay looks down and sees one of his chunin that is supposed to be at the gates keeping watch. "What are you doing here Motoi? This better be good if you left gate with just one guard."

Kneeling down in front of his Kage, "Yes Lord Raikage. You have three very important guests at the gates. They gave me a message to give to you."

"Very well then. Who are they and what is this message? I was not expecting any visitors of any kind for a while."

"I didn't believe him at first but they look just like them. They said their names were Minato Namikaze, Kushina Uzumaki, and Naruto Uzumaki. The message they wanted me to deliver is and I quote, "The red flash seeks towards the lightning to ward off its foes."

Hearing this Ay's eyes widen and his jaw drops slightly. After a few seconds he smiles widely and laughs. "This better be real or its your life Motoi. MABUI!"

Hearing her name Mabui steps into the Raikage's office, "Yes Lord Raikage?"

"Send for Bee. I want him in my office ASAP."

Bowing her head, "Yes Lord Raikage."

After she leaves, Ay turns and looks at Motoi. "Now Motoi take me to these guests."

"Yes Lord Raikage"

*Village Gates*

After a few minutes Minato slowly but surely gets back to his feet. He turns to look at Kushina, "You know Kushi-chan you could have picked me up." Kushina looks at him and grins, "I could have but then you wouldn't have learned your lesson now would you?" Minato sighs at this and looks down slightly to see Naruto chuckling slightly. He smiles and looks towards the gates.

Not long after Minato got up we see the Raikage, Ay walk up to the gates being escorted by Motoi. When Ay arrives at the gates he is absolutely dumb-founded when he sees a living and breathing Minato and Kushina. He quickly tries to dispel any genjutsu but quickly realizes that nothing is working. He then smiles and walks up the family.

"My my Minato I thought you were dead."

Minato turns around and smiles once more when he sees the Raikage standing before him. "It has been a long time, and yes you were right about me being dead. We can tell you more in your office if you would like."

Kushina nods her head, "Yes please Lord Raikage we have much to discuss."

Ay looks sternly at the both at the both of them and notices a young boy next to Kushina. "Kushina I take it that is your son beside you?"

Nodding once again, "Yes it is Lord Raikage. This is our son Naruto Uzumaki."

Naruto walks forward and bows to the Raikage, "Its nice to meet you."

Ay smiles and motions for them to follow him to the Raikage tower. As they are walking through the village Naruto is amazed about how active the streets are. What is also surprising to him is that many people are smiling and waving at them as they pass by. Ay decides to talk with Minato along the way, "So tell me Minato is what you said to my guards true? I need your honest answer before we get to the tower so I know how to go about this properly."

With a serious and calm face Minato looks towards Ay, "Yes it is we all will explain more once we get to a private room. We will explain everything then and only then."

"Very well Minato I will take your word on it then."

While Minato and Ay are talking Kushina notices that something seems wrong with Naruto, "What's wrong Sochi?"

Naruto looks up at his mother and then back at the people that they are passing by. "Nothing really Kaa-san. I'm just not used to seeing people smile at me or even wave at me. This is all new to me and I don't know how to feel about it."

Kushina frowns slightly, "Listen Sochi, everything is going to be alright now. I know you didn't say it but I can tell that you are on guard here. There is no need to be. The Raikage Ay and his brother Bee are very good friends of mine and Minato. There is nothing for you to be worried about here. Me and your father are here now, and we will protect you even if you don't want us to."

"I know Kaa-san but its just hard to accept all of this. Even with Kurama's help I don't see how I am able to handle all of this without freaking out."

Kushina smiles once more hearing Naruto talk about Kurama. "Kurama is very good at healing with his chakra and knows what to do. So its not really all that surprising."

Nodding his head and smiling a small smile, "Yeah I guess you're right. By the way Kaa-san. When we get to the tower how much are we going to tell them?"

"We will tell them everything that we possibly can. You don't have to explain your past in detail but a small sum up wont hurt. It will let Ay know what he needs to do to help."

Nodding his head once more The whole group being lead by the Raikage finally makes it to the Raikage Tower. They all walk inside and Ay informs Mabui that he shall not have any visitors except his brother later on until he says otherwise. Once he arrives at his office Ay motions for all ANBU to leave the office and building as well. Of course a few had to be drug out after having a heart attack or two after seeing Minato and Kushina alive and happy.

Ay sits down in his chair and motions for Minato and the others to sit as well.

"Alright Minato and Kushina I take it that you both have a lot to say and explain about this. You should already know what questions I want to ask, so I won't bother asking them all. Please go ahead and explain everything to me. I will hold my tongue until the end and ask any questions that you didn't answer already. Oh and one other thing we are friends. Please just call me Ay. Same for your son as well."

Smiling and nodding his head Minato looks back up, "Thank you Ay. What I told the guard at the gate is true once more. We would like to join Kumogakure if you will allow us. We weren't that happy in Konoha before and then they offered me the Hokage position. I accepted as a last chance for them. Me and Kushina died not to long after when she gave birth to Naruto here"

Interrupting, Kushina starts to get slightly pissed, "We placed all of our hopes in Sarutobi in raising our son, but it backfired tremendously. In a bit we will let Naruto talk and explain what he has went through. Once we got back and I heard only a little bit of what our Sochi went through I begged Minato for us to leave with Naruto but he wouldn't do so unless Naruto truly wanted to go. Not to long later once we reunited our Sochi practically begged us to take him away from Konoha."

Minato spoke up, "Once he told us that we left earlier today actually. We just got back today. I honestly don't know how to explain this but a sum up of how we are back is that the Shinigami has tasked me with killing four people that has found a way to escape death and avoid his grasp. We can go into details at a later time. I asked if Kushina could join me and he agreed. We have five years to get rid of these four people or the Shinigami will take us back to the afterlife. However if we do complete our mission he will allow us to stay in here like we have never died to begin with. Please go ahead ask some other questions on your mind as well."

Ay leans back into his chair crossing his arms and closing his eyes. After a few seconds he opens his eyes and looks at Kushina. "You were the host of the Nine-tails before your death. Who is the current host? I have and idea but I want to be certain."

"The current host is our son."

Closing his eyes once again, "I thought so." He opens his eyes once more and looks at Naruto. "Tell me Naruto are you close with the Nine-tails?"

Naruto looks up at Ay and nods his head, "Yes I am. He is my best friend and I won't let anyone take him away from me."

All three smile hearing this. Ay speaks up once more, "Glad to see that you befriended him. Don't worry we won't take him away from you or stop you from interacting with him. We have two other Jinchuriki here as well and they are loved by the people of Kumo. You have nothing to be worried about here. Now is there anything you can tell me of your time in Konoha? I won't make you tell me anything you don't want to talk about."

Naruto looks down and his bangs cover his eyes. "There is so much to say but I just can't say it."

Ay looks at him, "You don't have to say anything. Would it be alright if I guess as to what happened then? If I am wrong you can say so. You just need to nod your head. Will that be alright?"

Without looking up Naruto nods his head.

"Very well. Were you beaten by the villagers?" Nod. "Were you cast aside?" Nod. "Did any of the villagers attempt to kill you?" He nods once more, "More times than I can count and much much more."

"I see. I wont ask any further questions. I give you my word that things will be different here. I will see to it that they are." Ay then turns his attention to Minato. "Would you all be joining my shinobi forces? I will not make you, just thought I would offer."

Nodding his head, "Yes we all will. Naruto here was a genin when we left but I'm sure you are aware of that. We can discuss this more tomorrow if you would like. It is getting late and we would like to spend some time as a reunited family."

"Done and done." Ay reaches into his desk and fills out a paper. "Give this to Mabui on the way out she will escort you to your home for now until you all have decided on a place."

Thanking the Raikage Minato, Kushina, and Naruto all leave the office to meet with Mabui to get their temporary home. After sometime they arrive at a nearby hotel. Mabui gives them a key and tells them if they need anything at to come and see her. After thanking her the family went inside and decided to some bonding for the night and get some rest.

Not to long after they leave Ay leans back in his chair and exhales. "You can come in Bee I know you heard all of that."

Hearing this Bee opens the window and climbs through. He walks around the front of the desk and looks at his brother crossing his arms. "Is this for real bro?"

Nodding his head and smiling, "Indeed it is Bee I confirmed it along the way here. You know what this means right? Or have you forgotten our bet of a lifetime?"

All of a sudden Bee drops his head and sulks. "Yeah I know what this means. I will tone it down on my rapping but don't you dare expect me to stop fool, ya fool."

"That is probably the only time I will allow you to call me a fool with no repercussions. Now as to what I have in mind. I am going to put Naruto with you and Yugito. He will need your training and I think that either Minato or Kushina will want to work with you on that. How does that sound?"

"You give me number nine and all will be fine." He then looks directly at Ay with a serious tone. "He will need our help bro. We promised those two a long time ago we would."

Chuckling slightly, "I haven't forgotten Bee. Now go and get ready for tomorrow. I want you in here at noon. Bring Yugito as well so she can introduce herself as well."

Nodding his head, Bee then starts to talk with Ay about some things that he will help Naruto in and how he should go about training him in Kumo's ways. After a couple of hours of talking Bee leaves to go inform Yugito of their new teammate.

*Back in Konoha at the Hokage's Tower*

Sarutobi is sitting in his chair looking out the window at Konoha. "NEKO!"

Neko quickly appears and kneels before Sarutobi. "Yes Hokage-sama."

"Neko I want you to bring me Kakashi immediately."

"Yes Hokage-sama"

Neko leaves just as quick as she appeared. Once she leaves Sarutobi reaches into his desk drawer and brings out a blank scroll. He starts to fill it out quickly. He calls for a hawk and attaches the scroll to it. "Take this scroll to Jiraiya." As if the hawk could understand him it nodded and took off into the air. After a few Moments Kakashi walks into the room.

"You called for me Hokage-sama?"

"Indeed I did Kakashi. Please sit down we have much to discuss."

Once Kakashi takes his seat Sarutobi takes a puff off of his pipe. "Kakashi I will not corners with you. Naruto is gone. He has left the village. However do not worry. He isn't a nuke-nin or anything like that. He left officially and is being taken care of by two very important people."

Kakashi's eyes widen like saucers once he heard this. "Did Naruto betray the leaf? Who took him?"

Staring directly at Kakashi, "No Naruto did not betray the leaf in any way. This is for the best trust me. As for who took him, you do not need to concern yourself with that. I will work on getting you a replacement for your team but for the meantime you will work with what you have."

Looking down at the floor Kakashi speaks in a quiet voice, "We really let them down didn't we. I especially did. I should have done more but I didn't."

"The blame is not yours alone Kakashi. I messed up as well. We will get what we deserve in time unfortunately. You can just write out your mission report of wave and send it to me later. I know that it was complete. You are dismissed."

"Hai Hokage-sama." Kakashi leaves the office and Sarutobi turns to look out once more towards Konoha.

'I hope you all live happy lives. Naruto I am very sorry for what I have done. I hope you grow to be a fine shinobi, and I also hope to see you again soon.'

*In a White Void*

We see Kami sitting on her throne with her eyes shut. She is in deep thought. After a few moments she opens her eyes and smiles.

"I know exactly what to give Naruto-kun. Since Shin-kun gave him two gifts it is only appropriate that I give him two gifts as well." She waves her hand and a silhouette of Naruto appears before her. She reaches her right hand into his chest and closes her eyes for a few seconds. Afterwords she takes her hand out and smiles. "There that should do it for the first gift. Usually the only the females of the Uzumaki get that kekkei genkai but I think he deserves it. He is going to need it after all. Now for the second gift."

Kami claps her hands and a silhouette of another man and a woman appear before her. "Good looks like they are awake." She then pokes both of their foreheads and takes a step back. After a few seconds Both figures start to move and look around. They don't recognize the person in front of them. The man tries to speak but finds out that he can't.

"You can't speak just yet. I haven't allowed you to. But I do know what you are going to ask. I am Kami. You can believe it or not that's your choice, but look around. You are in my domain at this moment. You can even look at yourselves and notice that your not fully here. I just grabbed your consciousness and brought it here temporarily. As to why you are both here, well I have a request of you." She snaps her fingers. "You two can now speak."

"You cannot be Kami. For I am god and no one else."

Kami chuckles slightly "You really got to drop that facade Nagato. What would Yahiko think huh?"

Nagato remains quiet and stares at Kami. The woman decides to speak up, "If you are truly Kami-sama then why are we here?"

Smiling, Kami crosses her arms, "Like I said I have a request of you two. Simple as that."

Nagato takes a step forward. "And what kind of request do you have for us?"

"Simple really. There is a young Uzumaki out there I want you to help out. He has a very difficult future for him and could use all the help he could get. You and Konan would be very helpful in training him."

Hearing that there is another Uzumaki alive Nagato's eyes widen and Konan covered her mouth in shock. Nagato looks up and closes his eyes.

Taking this moment Kami decides to tell the truth to Nagato. "Nagato the path you are going is a dark one. You and Konan both don't deserve to go down that path. Let me help you both. I know that you are both wanting peace between the nations. There are a few ways to get it however the path your going down will only lead to needless bloodshed."

Nagato opens his eyes and looks at Kami for a few minutes. Konan grabs him by the shoulder getting his attention. He turns to look at her, "Nagato lets fully hear out her offer. It's not to late for us. Please. She is telling you the same things I have said before. As much as it pains me we have to let Yahiko go and strive for the peace we all longed for when he was with us. I know you regret not being able to save him. I do to but we have to let it go. We have the chance to help someone else. And they are even related to you. Please." As Konan was talking tears starting come down both hers and Nagato's face. Nagato wipes away the tears from Konan's face and brings her in for a hug. While hugging her he turns towards Kami.

"What do you request of us Kami-sama?"

Smiling brightly at what she was watching. "Like I said I want you to help another Uzumaki. His name is Naruto Uzumaki. He is the Jinchuriki of the Nine-tails. He will need allies for the late future. I wont reveal how far into the future though."

Nodding his head, "I will help Naruto Uzumaki then. I give you my word Kami-sama."

Konan raises her head and looks towards Kami as well. "I will help as well. Please let us atone for our sins."

Kami smiles and shakes her head. "You two have done nothing to atone for. I thank you very much in this endeavor. As a token of my thanks I have a gift for the both of you. Konan I have doubled your chakra capacity. You were very good yes, but you blew through chakra to easily with some of your techniques. Nagato I have fully healed you and will prevent your health from deteriorating from the overuse of the rinnegan."

Both Nagato and Konan separate and bow towards Kami. "Thank you Kami-sama. We won't let you down."

"Good I have high hopes for the two of you. I will also give you both a warning. This is a one time thing though."

Nagato stands back up straight and looks at her, "What is it Kami-sama?"

"Do not trust the man with a orange spiral mask. I know he is already in your group. What you tend to do from here is up to you."

Konan decides to speak up before Nagato, "We will leave the Akatsuki and go help Naruto. Hopefully wherever he is at they will accept us."

"Ah no need to fear Konan. You and Nagato will be welcomed. I will see to it. Naruto is in Kumogakure as of this moment. I suggest wait about a week or so before you head that way."

Hearing this both Nagato and Konan bow once more.

"Its time for you two to get back. I will be watching you two as well. Please don't let me down." After she got done speaking Kami waved her hand and Nagato and Konan were gone.

"Well that should do it for now. Naruto-kun should be fully prepared when the time comes. Now I need to go talk to Shin-kun so he can inform Minato and Kushina about their arrival."

With this Kami fades away to go visit the Shinigami.
