EDIT 11/20/22: Edited to fit plot development

Sonic, Tails, and Manic arrive at the Medical Hospital and ask about their sister. They are told that her condition is stable but they refuse to allow them to see her.

"What do you mean we can't see her?" Manic demanded.

"I'm sorry, I'm under orders not to allow anyone in at this time."

"Who's orders?"

"My superiors. I'm sorry, really." The doctor then walks away. Manic isn't done with him and tries to call out to him.

"Hey-"

"Leave him be, we'll get in somehow." Sonic interrupted.

"But why wouldn't they let us see her?"

"Maybe it's because they know she is royalty and doesn't want anyone near her for safety." A new voice announces.

They all turn their heads to the doors to see the newcomer. Sonic and Tails see a familiar time traveler.

"Silver!" they both announce.

"Sonic, you have a family you never told anyone about?" Silver questions.

"Yeah… Look its a long story and if I'm going to have to explain it over and over why don't we get the others first."

"Uhh… Sonic, Who is he?"

"Oh! RIght. Manic, this is Silver, he is a time traveler. Silver, this is- Oh wait, you already know don't you? Heh- Wait, How did you know?!"

"Yeah! Me and Sonic only just found out today! We never told you, how do you know?" Tails questioned.

"That's why I'm here. One moment everything was normal, the next, Eggman took over the entire world!"

"Robuttnik actually won?!" Manic screamed.

"Silver, what happened? Does this have something to do with my siblings finding me first?"

"It wasn't good. Everything was gone, replaced with machines and buildings…"

It was a dark night and cloudy night, there was nothing but robots and badniks alike everywhere. Silver was sneaking through the alleyways between buildings, avoiding any attention from the patrols. "What has happened here?! There is no way Eggman could've done this!" Silver thought to himself. He reached what looked like a monument of the doctor himself followed by 4 glass cases at the bottom in something like the city center. There were plagues on each one and had 3 small objects inside but one had something bigger. Silver had to get closer to see what they were. Once there was an opening, he was finally able to understand them. The first thing he saw in the case was some kind of broken necklace shaped like a guitar with the plague below.

'Sonic The Hedgehog' The bold top text read… 'This monument is to show the brilliance of my successful takeover of Robotropolis, Sonic's so-called home.'

"Robotropolis? Sonic's home?"

'In this case lies the powerless tool Sonic used against me. He was completely unmatched with the power I gained beforehand, thanks to his meddling siblings.'

"Siblings?! He had Siblings?"

Silver moved over to the case to his left which showed another medallion. The same condition, though it was the shape of a keyboard.

'Sonia The Hedgehog' - The sister to Sonic. Without him, she was weak and easy to overpower. She didn't stand even the smallest of chances.'

Then, the next…

'Manic The Hedgehog' - The brother to Sonic. This overconfident little rodent thought he could beat me as well. With or without his powers and those ridiculous insults he said. It made his defeat even more sweet for me and seeing the others' reactions was priceless.'

"Oh Chaos…" Silver thought. He moved to the final case which didn't have a medallion, but a broken crown of gold.

"Queen Aleena The Hedgehog"

"Q-Queen?!" Silver yelled. Silver caught himself before he said anything else and looked around to find that a few bots heard him and converged towards him. He had to get out of there, he couldn't get caught. He needed to go back and warn Sonic and question him about his real past.

"And that's basically it… I couldn't catch much on the plate, but besides the name all I saw was 'Mother,' Mobotropolis,' and 'Captured.'" Silver ended.

Everyone in the room was silent, Sonic and Manic were the most stunned. Manic however was starting to break down with tears growing in his eyes.

He slowly walks backwards, "S-So that's it? We-We are destined to fail?"

He falls to the floor, "We all lose to him and there is nothing we can do?"

Tails goes to help the green hedgehog before he breaks down even more but notices the blue one starting to glow a similar aura from before.

"U-uh oh, Sonic?" Tails asks.

He lets out a big sigh before it fades away, calming himself while startling Silver.
"I'll explain later."

"Uh, Sonic? Your eyes…"

The green hedgehog and young fox took a quick glance at Silver, then their brother.

"Not now, Silver. But it's nice to see you again after so long…" He spoke, still having his back towards his brothers.

They both give each other a confused look, After so long? What does that mean? Tails was going to ask him, but he started walking away down the corridor to the patient rooms.

"Sonic, Wait!" Tails calls out.

Sonic stops dead in his tracks, "Don't worry, I'll be back."

Slowly turning his head, he reveals his signature smile with a side glance. But there was something different that caught Tails by surprise. Just as Silver said, his eyes were no longer his. They were the same bright purple eyes as the ones he saw just hours ago. Manic saw this too, but couldn't come up with the words to say anything. Sonic looked down the corridor and started walking away, no one stopping him this time. After he left, there was nothing but silence besides the doctors and nurses working around them.

"Can someone please fill me in?" Silver asks.

The two snapped back to their senses before looking at him.

"Oh, right… Well, it kind of went like this…" Tails replied.

He and Manic then explained everything that happened within the past several hours. He was struggling to understand but after a while he was able to understand. Now, there is only one last question to him.

"So… it sounds like she gave more than just her power. Maybe a telepathic link as well… So, does that mean she is in control when Sonic's eyes are that color?"

"I don't know, it's possible." Tails answers.

"So this is another trick to watch over us. Huh, mom?" Manic says to himself.

Silver and Tails just said nothing. They just looked back to the same corridor Sonic, or Aleena, walked away to.
