Starco vs Parenthood Introduction - These chapters can be read separately but they are all connected. It's always the same Star & Marco, same kids, same world.

This chapter includes my entry from the September 2021 r/StarVStheForcesofEvil Writing Contest and expands on it to make a full story. The theme was 'Mewni Harvest' and the entry ended up winning. Part 1 takes place during the 'Sad Teen Hotline' episode while Part 2 starts the first night after 'Cleaved'. Most post-cleave series would make this their first chapter but I like doing things my own way. Note that any text in italics belongs to either Star or a new special character.

Favs, reviews, and constructive feedback are all really helpful. Thanks!

Chapter 30 - First Night

Part 1 - Little Balls of Rage

.

Star Butterfly was flying, but not the usual riding through the air on top of a small cloud flying. No Star Butterfly was flying, golden wings fully extended and fluttering away as her glowing butterfly form soared through a cloudless bluish-pink sky. Having complete freedom she couldn't stop herself from trying to have as much fun as possible. First there were barrel rolls, then loopy-de-loops, and finally for some next level amusement the teenager went to the edge of space just to see the twinkle of her home dimension's stars.

"I should do this all the time. Just me, the world, and...and...and this would be so much better if I had someone else here."

As the former princess descends a magical compact mirror appears in one of her six hands. With just a thought her favorite childhood troublemaker appeared on the screen.

"HEY GIRLFRIEND! WHATCHA DOING TODAY?"

"Hey Pony. Just out flying. I was thinking of checking out the foliage. You in? Marco said he's busy so I'm kinda flying solo. Flying solo, ha! Get it."

"NO GO B-FLY! ME AND KELLY ARE GOING TO EARTH FOR PUMPKIN-SPICE LATTES, APPLE PIE, AND SOME AUTUMN FESTIVAL THING WHERE THEY SHOOT PUMPKINS OUT OF A CANNON. I DON'T KNOW WHAT ANY OF THAT EARTH STUFF IS BUT MARCO TOOK KELLY OUT TO DO IT LAST WEEK AND SHE SAID IT WAS THE BOMB."

The former princess frowned. "Aw-man. Marco never takes me out to do autumn stuff and I thought I was his bestie. Is Marco going too? Can I come?"

"I DON'T KNOW B-FLY. I THINK KELLY MIGHT BE TRYING TO DATE THE TURD AGAIN. PLUS AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE MEETING TOM TODAY? ISN'T DRAMA-DEMON BACK FROM VISITING ALL THOSE DIMENSIONS?"

She let out a sigh. "Yeah, I forgot Kelly likes Marco. The dumb old Blood Moon Curse messed up his chances with Jackie but at least it won't get in his way with Kelly. He must be way happier now not being forced to think everything I do is adorable. And I'm never going to be lonely because-ahh...I have Tom. Yeah, I should go see my boyfriend Tom."

"BYE-BYE B-FLY! SAY HI TO HORNS FOR ME!"

.

Several flying corkscrews later Star is above an immense forested valley. Looking down she sees trees ranging in color from brilliant gold to blood red to bright orange flames. After finishing her final dive she hovers over an empty field where a suit wearing half-demon greets her with a sly smile.

"Hey Starship, you almost look like you know what you're doing up there."

Not sure exactly how to take his comment, the former princess lands pretending it's a compliment. "Thanks Tom and welcome back. Sorry again that I didn't go on that big trip with you."

"Don't worry about it Starship, I'm just glad to be back and I have some important news to share. While I was traveling I figured out how to fix us."

"Fix us? Like, what needs to be fixed about us?"

The young demon adjusted his suit as he spoke. "You know, making sure we're both happy as a couple. I'm thinking since you're not cursed to like Marco anymore, we should make sure you're always going to like me."

"-Really-? I mean, I like you now and I TOTALLY don't want to get cursed again."

The young demon gave her a smile. "No-no, I'm not going to do anything like that. Instead I'm going to change myself."

"Ahh, how are you going to do that?"

"Another demoncism but way better. This time we're gonna get them all out at once."

The former princess tapped her finger on her mouth as she thought about what he was suggesting. "I don't know Tom, that looked really painful last time and you don't get all mad like you used to. Are you sure that's what you want? Remember when I said you could improve yourself even with those little guys inside you?"

"I remember Star but this is something I want to do. Think of it as the direction I want us to go in together. I just need a little help."

"Direction together...well, if you're sure. Alright, what do you need me to do?"

"I'm going to plant myself in this field and when the demons are all out you need to harvest them."

"Wait-what? That's crazy."

The half-demon prince was already stepping into a shallow pit and began pulling dirt around himself. "Demon magic Star. Just harvest them all as quick as you can, if you don't get them all in time it'll be too late."

"I don't know Tom. I kinda have a bad feeling about this. Don't you think-"

Before she could finish he was gone and the hole he had laid down in was completely filled with earth. Looking around, the expanse of flat dirt reminded her of the cornfields in the spring, right before seeds are planted. Not sure what was supposed to happen, the magical girl used four of her hands to summon baskets since she figured she'd need to put her boyfriend's demons somewhere safe.

As soon as the wicker containers appeared the ground burst open with vines, stalks, and even small trees. All around were thousands of small ripe three eyed balls of anger. They hung from each plant, often hiding amongst the leaves.

Star the Underestimated didn't think she could do it. Even with wings and six arms there were too many. Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she thought about what would happen if she didn't pick every one in time. "Marco, I need you! Please help me! We have to save Tom!"

Instead of her best friend, Spider With a Top Hat appeared. Next Star's narwhals floated to her followed by a herd of warnicorns. Soon all of the Mewman girl's magical creatures ran back and forth emptying each plant of their dark crop. After several minutes the summons gasped for air but Star was happy. The harvest was in and the work complete. The only remains amongst the shriveled vines were hundreds of baskets all overfilled with small balls of rage.

"Tom, we got them all! Tom? Tom!? Are you okay!?"

Frantically the former princes searched the area where she thought the half-demon had been planted. Then out of the corner of her eye she spotted her red horned headband lying next to a crack in the earth. "I'm coming for you Tom! Hold on!"

Reaching with all six arms, each in the ground up to her shoulder, she finally felt a hand. Then a leg. Thinking something was wrong she drew on all of her magical strength to pull at her boyfriend until finally his body rose to the surface, but it wasn't the Thomas Draconius Lucitor she expected. Instead her arms held the Marco she remembered from the 'Abs Dimension'. He was thirty and wearing tattered clothes that barely covered his muscle bound chest. Her dark-haired friend looked the same as he did the day when they saved Mariposa and Meteora from the same dimension where her bestie had spent all those years earning his scissors.

The former princess smiled while wrapping her arms around him. "I got you Marco Diaz...I-"

Her joy evaporated when she realized that he was cold, too cold. Star placed her best friend down while brushing the remaining dirt away from his face. He wasn't breathing. Not sure what to do, the teenager leaned over to kiss the man-child hoping that it might somehow bring him back to life but for her and the safe-kid that she loved, she knew it was too late. It had been too late for a long time now. Much too late.

.

Star sat up with tears in her eyes. It took a moment but once her brain stopped panicking she realized that she'd been sleeping on the Diaz's living room couch. Looking over to the TV she saw that it was still on.

"Oh yeah...Travel channel...two-hour special...best fall destinations. No wonder I had such a weird dream. I...I should go check on Marco...make sure he's okay. I-"

Before she could stand she remembered, Tom was sleeping in Marco's room. The same Tom who broke up with her yesterday. The same Tom who said they were going in different directions. The same Tom who needed a best friend and she knew the reason why it was never going to be her.

The former princess reflected on the nightmare while the events from the day all came crashing to the front of her brain. It was clear that Star needed to talk to her forever-bestie but for now she would have to settle for someone else.

"Call Pony Head."

From her compact mirror came only static.

"Huh. Call mom?"

Again static.

"Why would...forget the dream. Portals not working and now this? Something big is going on. I don't know what or why but this is bad. I need to tell Marco!"

.

.

Part 2 - Break Time

"And that was the dream I had before I ran up to your room last night."

It's the first evening in the newly cleaved world and the sky is filled with stars and moons all getting used to their new home. On a hill overlooking the patchwork landscape the two teenagers lie in the grass trying to wrap their heads around what exactly happened. Star is on the left, Marco is on the right, and their shoulders are pressing up against each other. Without either noticing their closest hands have entwined.

"Star...that was...wow...that was some dream."

"That wasn't too weird, was it?"

"No-no! I just didn't realize that you thought about me that deeply. I was pretty sure with everything that happened today I would never be surprised again...but yeah, kind of surprised. Plus pumpkin-spice lattes? That's complete nightmare material right there."

"On one hand I'm embarrassed telling you but I want you to understand what's been going on in my head for...well...for a while now. I don't get it all but maybe my brain thought I missed my chance for us to ever be you know, together-together. Maybe that's why things went the way they did?"

"Like I said before, it doesn't matter wha-"

The young couple's conversation was interrupted by the noise of car horns in the distance. When the beeping finally stopped there was a series of angry yells all coming from the other side of the hill.

"Should we go see what happened?"

"No-no-no. Unless the sky is actually on fire we're taking a break. No going anywhere. No talking about magic. No talking about worlds. No talking about anything crazy. Since that portal exploded we've saved people from cart and car accidents, we've rounded up pig-goats and we've redirected a herd of warnicorns. Then we explained to a family of giant monsters why they shouldn't use split-level ranches as sofas. Throw-in everything else that happened today from tennis balls, to Mina, to monsters, to dealing with my mom, and then magic, I'm tired. Maybe we can help more people later but for the next few minutes you and I are totally on break. And while we're breaking, we should keep talking about...you know, important stuff."

"Alright. It would be good to clear our minds before we figure out how we're gonna fix all this. Maybe get something to eat? My inner clock got all thrown off with how dark it got right after the portal exploded but according to my watch it's just past our normal dinner time."

"Do we have any more pudding?"

"No but I have my fanny pack and I normally keep two emergency corn bars in there. Do you want one?"

Star tried to hold back a yawn but completely failed. "EEEUUUAAAAHHHHHHH-AAAAAAHHHH. Yes please. Pre-dinner snack."

"Give me a second, the pack got all turned around." Marco fished around under his hoodie before pulling out two crunchy compressed food products. "So I have 'original' corn flavor annnnnd...ew, 'new ogg-berry'."

"I'll take the ogg-berry."

"I can't stand the off strawberry-mango taste that lives in your mouth after. I thought I got rid of these."

"Well, I kinda like ogg-berries."

After ripping open wrappers the couple stares up at the moons while munching on their respective bars. As they chew Marco checks the time on his phone to see if it matches his watch. He can't help but notice all the missed message notifications but he does his best to ignore them.

"I take it back, I don't like this. It's like the worst parts of the fruit concentrated into some sort of super-yuck-biscuit. People should be locked up for making food that tastes this gross. Please tell me that you have mints or gum on you."

"Sorry Star."

"-Bleck-. It's like my tongue has become the place where berries go to die."

Marco started feeling around to see if he had anything that might help. "Oh hey, guess what's in my pocket."

"Are we playing that riddle game like in that little person book you gave me?"

"The Hobbit? Did you actually read it?"

"Well, part of it. I got bored on this date with, anyway I stopped reading after they got lost in the woods. So you know, the wizard in that story was lame and who travels that far without dimensional scissors? Magic is so much more-more-" The former princess let out a sigh. "Sorry, I broke the no talking about magic rule."

"It's fine Star."

"In your pocket, is it something from the Tavern at the End of the Multiverse?"

"I did take it from someone there but I'm not sure how it ended up back in my hoodie."

"Is it one of those cute little drink umbrellas?"

"No."

"Marco, I have no idea."

"Wait, now that I think about it this might count as talking about magic."

"Do you pocket some of that liquid from the Magic Dimension?"

"I still have the wand." The young man pulls the bat winged 'Marco Wand' out of his hoodie pocket and holds it high above them.

"THE WAND! GIMMI-GIMMI!"

"Are you sure? I don't want to break any rules?"

"This is way more important! This is about getting that awful taste out of my mouth! Super-important!" Without pause Star grabs her family heirloom and begins licking the circular center the same way she had done so many times back when the magical conduit was hers. "MMmmmm...Marco-Marco-Marco...super awesome nacho sauce! Why didn't you tell me that your wand tasted this good!?"

"Star! That's been bouncing around in my hoodie for a few hours now, there's no way that's clean. Also I thought you said the wand tastes like candy."

"Marco, it tastes different every time it changes. Mmmm. Mine was candy but this, this is triangle food dipping awesomeness. Mmmm. So much better than that corn bar taste."

"It's weird that it still has a taste even when there's no more magic. So what did it taste like when your mom had the wand?"

"Mom is also on the list of things we're not talking about but I'm sure it tasted like stuffy old-" Star shook her head. "-I-I need to stop. I keep telling myself I need to forgive her."

"If it really tastes that good do you think I can give it a try? Corn bars are a lot better when you have them with something else."

"Here, we can each take a wing."

While still laying on the ground the two turned toward each other until they were both close enough to have the tip of a wing in their mouths. While enjoying the flavor they began to stare into each other's eyes. The spicy cheese taste lingered on their tongues as they slowly moved until their lips were just about to-

~ Space unicorns! Soaring through the stars! ~

The startled boy immediately fumbled for his phone. "AARH! HELLO!"

"... ... ...!"

"Oh hey! Are you okay? Is anyone hurt?"

"... ... ... ...!"

"Listen, Star and I can fill you in once we have more details but yeah, we think we know what happened. For now if you see anything weird it's probably from Mewni, just say 'hi' to it if it talks. Most of the monsters are pretty friendly."

"... ... ..."

"Yes, I'm fine."

"... ... ... ..."

Star watched her bestie as he talked. When she had his attention she mouthed the word 'Jackie?' He responded by shaking his head and mouthing back 'Mom'. "Look on the bright side, if Mewni is in the backyard the next time you want a vacation you're already there."

"... ...!"

"The news says it's like this all over the whole world. Got it. We were hoping it was just Echo Creek but that makes sense with the moons and sky being so different."

"..."

"Yes. I'm happy to say that Star is right here with me. We're just taking a break."

"... ... ... ...!"

"Giant in a Speedo? Yeah, he might look scary but that's just Meteora's dad. Listen, I know you want me to go over everything but...ah, Star and I have some things we need to talk about before we can get into details."

"... ..."

"No-no, we'll head over tonight assuming things haven't moved around too much. Worst case we'll be there in the morning. From here I can see what I think is our neighborhood. Just don't stay up, get some sleep. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be a crazy day for everyone."

"... ... ..."

"Love you too mom. When I get home I'll tell dad it's safe to leave the shed. Oh, I almost forgot. Is Janna okay? Was she able to restart her heart?"

"... ..."

"Great. She's a little weird but she's a good friend."

"... ...?"

"Ah, you want to know if anyone got hurt?" He looked back over to bestie after repeating his mother's question. "Well, we think Star's magic is gone. She's not happy about it but she's doing okay right now. There are also some friends that we might not be able to see again but we're pretty sure they got home safe."

"...?"

"We...ah, we did lose Glossaryck a-and-um a good friend of mine that I don't think you ever met. She was kind of a mentor to me."

"... ..."

"Thanks. I think I'll be okay. We'll talk about this later."

"... ... ..."

"Alright, bye mom. Love you."

"... ..."

After ending the call Marco puts his phone into a pocket before settling back down on the ground next to his mess-up twin. Star gives him a moment to think but eventually decides that she needs to break the uncomfortable silence.

"I-I'm really sorry about Hekapoo."

"I keep thinking I should have hugged her goodbye or something. It's weird, for knowing they weren't going to survive they didn't seem sad or upset. H-poo was never super emotional but I know she had feelings that she hid inside. I wonder if she was scared but keeping it from everyone?"

"Either way, l know it must hurt losing a friend."

The young man gave her hand a squeeze as he replied. "It does but I don't know what I would have done if I lost you."

"I don't know what I would have done either."

"..."

"..."

"Star, can we end our break early? I'm not ready to go out and see people yet but I have a lot of thoughts that I need to get out. Then after, we should go over what we're going to tell everybody."

"Talking about thoughts and feelings falls under best friend stuff so I'll allow it. I'm just going to warn you, I'm totally exhausted right now. I might do more listening than talking. Is that going to be okay?"

"Totally fine. Actually if you're tired do you want to talk first? Today was awesome and...really traumatic. I'm sure you have lots of things going on in your head that you need to get out."

"Hmm, you might get more than you can handle."

"I can take it Star. It can't be any weirder than that dream."

The former princess took a moment to prepare herself. Looking over at her bestie, Star lost herself in his eyes for a moment before turning her attention back to the night sky. "Right now I think I'm feeling every emotion out there. Happy we're together, scared about what we did to our worlds, disappointed in my mom, mad about all the townspeople who agreed to help Mina, sad about Glossy and Hekapoo, proud knowing we saved the monsters, in awe because this new sky looks amazing. There are more emotions right?" She paused as a small yawn escaped her.

"Jealousy. Desire. Hunger. I think contempt is one too."

"So maybe not all of the emotions but a lot of them. For being jelly...well, I'm sorry I thought it was Jackie who called just now. I-ah, I don't know why I went there."

"Whatever you're feeling right now, it's fine. After what you went through today there's nothing you should feel sorry about and hey, I was using her skateboard. Are you feeling anything else?"

"For other emotions, desire since I kinda wish I could still cast spells right now. I'd start with something to clean us up and then maybe get us home for dinner. When you first said you had the wand I thought about trying to use it but I can tell just by the feel, all the magic is gone."

"Sorry Star."

"Hey, it's alright. For how much I'm going to miss magic it's still not the biggest feeling in me. If I was going to pick the one emotion that is hitting me the hardest it would be disappointment in my mom. I'm forgiving her because she apologized and she's my mom. She did seem really sorry after but...yeah, I always thought parents were supposed to know better." While nuzzling her head against Marco she closed her eyes. "Having you with me, that's the best feeling out of all of them. It was a weird wild day but I'm totally glad it ended with you and I being together."

"Yeah."

"I still want to eat more but is hunger really an emotion? Anyway, maybe I didn't have more than you could handle. How about I stop and you tell me what you're thinking."

The former knight took a few seconds to calm his thoughts before jumping in. "Instead of talking about emotions, I have some questions that I need to ask and some ideas I want to share."

"Go ahead. Hit me with that big brain of yours karate-boy."

"To start, you know how I feel about you, and-well I was thinking about how we've been sharing a room on and off. Until you can Narwhal Blast again c-can we keep doing the room sharing thing or at least live in the same place? I mean, I hope I'm not being too forward but what if we weren't together and someone showed up to attack you? I know you're fine fighting stuff without magic but I'd feel a lot better if we weren't apart. You know what I mean? If that's a problem and you wanted some space I'd completely understand but-"

"Marco, it's fine. That's what I want too. We'll figure out a way so we can keep being roommates or something. You know, I've been meaning to thank your parents for letting me live with you guys this past month. Truth is I really didn't have a plan for going anywhere else so I'd like to keep staying with you if they're okay with it. Also you're probably right, we might have made some new enemies today and I like the idea of you having my back." Star hummed sleepily before continuing. "I'm thinking we head to your parent's place in the morning and maybe you'll finally let me sleep on the air mattress."

"Nope, you take the bed. I'll sleep on the air mattress."

Star's sleepiness was now clearly evident in her voice. "...I knew you were going to say that. Sure, I'm too tired to argue with you."

"Great. Next I want to say y-you were amazing. You saved not just the monsters Mina rounded up but also all of the monsters they would have hunted down. It would have been a massacre. With enough time it could have turned into a monster genocide maybe."

"...yeah, it would have been really bad."

"Something I didn't like, you're mom and Eclipsa made ending magic your decision. I know they showed up to help but it still seems weird to me that they both let a single fifteen year old make a universe altering decision on her own. I want you to know that when we talk to people about what happened we're going to say it was OUR decision, you and me. That way if anyone is mad or upset they'll need to take us both on. Does that work for you?"

Star smiled at him before replying back in a soft tired voice. "...if that's what you want. Star the Underestimated and Marco the Overprotective, we did it tooogeeetheeer."

"Also amazing, you were ready to give up everything to be with me."

"...yeah you doff, I said that I love you. Plus I got to the top of the magic well and realized that I wouldn't have anyone to steal hoodies from if we weren't together."

Marco gave her hand a squeeze. "I'll buy you a few if the mall didn't get cleaved with Forest of Certain Death or something dangerous like that."

She gave a toothy grin before whispering her response. "...nope, stealing yours. Can't stop me."

"So what is really worrying me, what are we going to tell our parents when we get back? 'Hey mom and dad, after I told Star that I love her we got stuck in the magic dimension and by accident we might have cast a spell that made it so we can always be together. You're all good with that right?'"

The young woman just giggled. "I know this is super serious but it sounds really silly when you say it like that."

"Now that I think about, we should be happy that we didn't end up magically glued together or maybe wrapped up in unbreakable tape."

"How about you make all the plans for telling our parents? While you do that I'm going to lie here with my eyes closed for a minute. Just for a minute."

"Remember that dog from Mewni who was living on Earth and wouldn't give your wand back? If ending magic put her back on Mewni I wonder if bringing the worlds together brought her and that older woman back together again too? Maybe there's going to be other people who are happy we merged worlds?" Before he could speak again Marco let out his own silent yawn. "I might be slowing down too. I'm also feeling tired."

As Marco replayed the day's events in his head he lifted up his shirt and pressed into the spot where he'd been stabbed by the dark millhorse. Once satisfied that there were no remnants of a wound he pulled the front of his hoodie back down and began searching the sky for some hint of Earth's or Mewni's old constellations. "It's weird, I thought I got hurt but the magic fixed me. Maybe it fixed problems in both worlds, we just haven't figured it all out yet?"

"...that would be nice."

"What I don't get is the timing. How did magic merge our worlds AFTER it was destroyed? Did magic move through time to make the dimensions merge? Glossaryck did say he knew the future, could he move through time? I wish he was around so I could ask him. Not that I would get a real answer but it gets me thinking, if magic could move through time did he really go down with the ship? Couldn't he just show up whenever?"

Star replied back in a half-asleep voice. "...maybe. Magic is weird."

"So if that's true and magic can time travel, I don't see why it couldn't just come back on it's own. Another idea I had, I wonder if we can fix the merge by using the Severing Stone to separate the dimensions? There would still be no magic but it might put everything else back the way it was, we just have to be sure you and I are both on the same side after. You think a dimension would be too big for the Severing Stone?"

"...hmm?"

"You know what else is weird? If Glossaryck was powerful enough to see the future, shouldn't he have been powerful enough to end the spell that enchanted the Solorians? Or couldn't he have taught you a counter spell ahead of time? Or maybe warn your mom that her undoing spell wouldn't work? The more I think about it, the magic being destroyed is totally what he wanted. Maybe the worlds together like this was also part of his plan?"

Marco noticed that Star's grip on his hand had gone limp and she was beginning to make soft snoring sounds. Looking over he saw his best friend curled up next to him asleep. The young man smiled as he studied her face. A day's worth of battles had covered her in dirt and grim but at that moment he didn't want her to look any other way.

"My adorable lifelong post. When we first met you were a -magical princess from another dimension- and now...now you're a -normal girl from my dimension-. One thing that's never going to change is that we're still going to go on adventures. Lots and lots of adventures, you and me together." As he closed his eyes he snuggled closer. "Don't worry Star Butterfly, you'll always have me. It was never too late."

Eventually the sounds of distant car horns fade as the newly cleaved world settles in for sleep.

.

.

"AAAAHAAAAHHAAAA!"
"AAAAHAAAAHHAAAA!"

The two teens shot up from their grass bed in a panic followed by Marco immediately turning off the alarm on his watch. The sun had just finished rising, giving the besties more than enough light to clearly see each other. Star was still a mess from the day before but to add to it her hair was now going in all different directions. Various leaves and twigs entwined within helping to complete the look. Marco was in a similar state but his clothing had fared far worse. Not only were there rips and tears in his jeans, a blood stained hole in the center of his t-shirt clearly showed where he'd been stabbed.

"Marco! Did you have a-"

"Crazy dream?!"

"Yeah! Really crazy dream!"

"We shared a body?!"

"The right half of me was you!"

"Two-heads?!"

"We got cleaved!"

The two stared at each other stunned as their hearts raced. With no movement around them other than the grass being blown by the occasional breeze they sat there contemplating what might have happened. After a minute the tension subsided and with a smirk Marco began to point out the foliage that was caught in his best friend's hair. She responded with a playful punch to the arm before they helped each other up.

"It was just a dream Star. Are you ready to do this?"

"Yeah, just a dream. Come on Marco, let's go make everything right."

I tried to weave in a bunch of threads that I might need in future chapters and I also wanted to touch on how Star felt about Tom. Bonus, I added the introduction to my original Starco series 'Ever After' (you'll see it under my profile). If you end up reading it, be easy on me. That was my first fan fiction writing. You'll likely also notice that not everything between the two series line up perfectly but hey, dreams are weird.

Some interesting recent events, a few weeks ago mono1472 started creating some short comics loosely based on early SvP chapter ideas. Currently he's posting them on Reddit & Tumblr. Did I really make that many abs jokes back then? Mono, thank you for drawing these! I'm very flattered that something I've written has been inspiring.

So we're at Chapter 30. I never thought I would get here when I started. I have been slowing down but I still have some SvP stories left in me. I hope you all enjoyed this one, please let me know what you think in the comments. - Olin
