Kitten Found with a Big Black Problem
Doug is seen in the basement of his house fixing up the Chaos Emerald scanner which took a while since the parts are really hard to come by and ordering them would be a bit more than what he can buy with his allowance, but he can still make do with the leftover parts that no one uses anymore.
"Okay, I think I got it fix now." Doug believed as he puts down the blow torch.
Doug took a deep breath and press the button that turns on the scanner, waited for a moment hoping that it would work and then the green screen came up on beeping of the two Chaos Emeralds that are here as he took them out of the vault to make sure it works.
"Yes, it works! Who's the genius, I'm the genius! The one and only Doug the Fox Genius!" Doug cheered.
"I take it you finally fix that little do-hacky?" Lev asked as he walks down.
"Indeed, I have. Working perfectly and now we can get back to finding those Chaos Emeralds." Doug answered as he put the two Chaos Emeralds back in the vault.
"And just in time too, the girls came over to introduce this stray cat they found." Lev mentioned.
Doug and Lev went upstairs seeing Lolirock with Amaru, Carissa and Lyna as Nathanial is petting the cat white cat in Iris's arms on the head, and the little purple creature is glaring at the white kitty for some reason.
"So, where exactly did you find this little guy?" Nathanial asked.
"We found him droning in the lake and it was lost, we couldn't find anything on his collar meaning we couldn't find the owner." Iris explained.
"Aw, poor little guy. Must have been abandoned by the family who used to own him." Nathanial felt bad for a little kitty.
"I know what that's like, me and Praxina were abandoned by our own parents when we were little." Mephisto stated as he walks up to the kitty.
"So, what's his name?" Lev asked curious.
"Bogan, Talia came up with the idea." Auriana answered as Talia blushed.
"That's Ephedian for adorable, right?" Doug asked.
"Correct, glad to see you've been working on your Ephedian tongue from our last lesson." Lyna impressed.
"Don't you worry, you're in safe hands." Mephisto assured as he reaches his hand to Bogan.
But suddenly Bogan hisses at Mephisto and slashes right onto his finger leaving a small cut making the guy flinch in the small pain and suck on his finger.
"He scratched me." Mephisto whined.
"Bogan, no! Mephisto is our friend." Auriana scolded Bogan who just looks away.
Amaru didn't like what Bogan just did and jumps onto Mephisto's shoulders glaring and hissing at the white kitty, giving him threats to never hurt his friends like that but Bogan just lick his paw which upset him even more as he want to jump at the furball until Lev grabs him.
"It looks like the little dude isn't taking a liking to Bogan being with you girls." Lev noticed as he held Amaru in his arms.
"Yeah, he started acting jealous because we've been giving Bogan more attention than him." Lyna said.
Lev looked at Bogan a bit more than notice that he glares back at the boy for an instant before looking all cute again, but the former thief saw that and have a suspicious feeling that there might be something more about this cat.
"I think you should take that cat to the animal shelter just to make sure." Lev narrowed his eyes at Bogan.
"Oh Lev, don't tell me you're scared because of what happened to Mephisto?" Auriana teased.
"Just being caution of things that doesn't like me." Lev said.
"Sheesh, drama queen much?" Lyna rolled her eyes.
"Takes one to know one." Carissa mocked as she and Mephisto laughs earing a glare from Lyna.
"Well, we got to get back home and do some rehearsing." Iris said as she gave Nathanial a quick kiss on the lips.
Lev notice how Amaru is still glaring at Bogan with a soft angry growl thinking he is still angry for the cat and his instincts are telling him that something is definitely up with that cat.
"I don't think Amaru want to spend the night with Bogan under the same roof, maybe he should stay with us for the night." Lev suggested.
"Really? Are you still feeling jealous, Amaru?" Talia asked only getting a respond of him looking away with his eyes close.
"I'm guessing that's a yes." Nathanial shrugged.
"Guess we'll be seeing you tomorrow then." Auriana said snuggling her cheek onto Amaru before the girls said their goodbyes and left the house.
(Nighttime)
Lev is seen just exiting the bathroom after finishing up with brushing his teeth and stretching his arms a bit, then saw Amaru looking all sad staring out the window, mostly thinking about the princesses being with Bogan more than him and feels like there is something bad about that cat.
"So, would it make you happy that I also noticed how strange that cat was?" Lev asked sitting next to him, Amaru smiles in response.
"Yeah, I don't know what's the cat that gets me feel intense, but for some reason Bogan is reminding me of one bad cat. Badder than any cat." Lev tried to think of what that could be.
Amaru looked at him confuse of what could this thief turned hero possibly be talking about.
"Yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but I just know that cat isn't normal." Lev stated.
"You're telling me." Mephisto said walking up to them.
"I know I used to be a bad guy and all, but did it really have to scratch me like that?" Mephisto asked.
"Does your finger still hurt?" Lev asked.
"No, it's fine now, but that Bogan cat freaks me out the same way Banes does." Mephisto said feeling shivers down his spine.
"Wait, did you say Banes? I feel like I heard that name before?" Lev said.
"Well, yeah, Banes the big cat monster that is always by Gramorr's side as his right-hand man, or cat in this case." Mephisto mentioned.
Amaru started having some thoughts if that Bogan cat maybe connected to Banes in some way though he's not really sure how, but it's definitely a possibility that can't be ignore and will check on Bogan first thing in the morning.
"Now that I think about it, the way he looks at me with those eyes is really like Banes whenever he gets angry along with Gramorr." Mephisto remembered that look in Bogan's eyes.
"Now I'm really curious to see if that kitty really is cute and cuddle on the outside." Lev stated.
"We better get some sleep and talk to the girls in the morning." Lev said as they went to sleep on their beds.
Amaru took one last look at the night sky thinking about the princesses hoping they'll be okay with Bogan with them before going to sleep.
(Morning)
Amaru is seen walking toward the front door thinking about heading back to Iris's home as he couldn't wait for another minute away from them.
"Hey Amaru, heading out already?" Nathanial asked as Amaru looks at him nodding.
"Well, you should at least get some breakfast before going. Can't start the day without a full stomach." Nathanial pointed out placing a bowl of breakfast for Amaru.
Amaru felt his stomach growling thinking the blue-haired boy is right and decided to have breakfast first, then head back to Lolirock.
After eating breakfast, Amaru thanked Nathanial and head out of the house on his way back the Lolirock girls running as fast as he can.
But suddenly he is nearly blasted by a crystal blast making roll on the ground.
"Aw, going back home already?" Priaxina asked sarcastically as she floats down to him.
"Bet you were feeling lonely now that you're not the favorite anymore, but don't worry, I have just the spell for that." Praxina smiled evilly and performed one spell that knocked Amaru unconscious.
She places Amaru inside a basket with a letter she wrote that is sure to keep Amaru from those idiotic goody princesses and those weirdo boys long enough for the "Plan" to be complete, she flew to a house and rang the doorbell before hurrying on out of the scene.
Soon, a little girl with answers looking around seeing no one is there until she saw Amaru who just woke up but very confuse and is picked up by the girl and look at the letter.
"Please give me a home." The girl read the letter before looking back at Amaru who smiles.
"Oh, you're so sweet like bubblegum! Hey, I'll call you bubblegum, and my name is Lizzie." Lizzie introduced herself.
"I'm so not allow to have a pet, so you got to be super quiet." Lizzie said and the now "Bubblegum" nods as they enter the house.
"Good, that spell has erased his memories. Now the rest is up to you, Banes." Praxina smirked.
(Iris's Home)
"Amaru never came here?" The boys shocked as well as Lyna and Carissa.
"No but hearing you boys say that makes me worry." Iris said.
"You don't think he ran away, do you?" Auriana worried.
"No, something is definitely up because we all know he's smarter than that." Doug pointed out.
Mephisto saw Banes again giving him the scary glare making the red-haired guy flinch.
"H-Hey, how about I go search for him. I'm sure he's around here somewhere." Mephisto volunteered.
"We'll go too." Lyna said for herself and Carissa who didn't mind.
"Me too, and I also picked up on his unique energy signature." Doug said from his watch.
"Me and blue boy still stay here with Lolirock in case he comes here." Lev said making a quick look at Bogan.
(Sunny Bay Park)
Doug, Mephisto, Carissa, and Lyna arrived at the park where the tracer on Doug's watch said he is currently at though they don't see him until they spotted a girl walking with a purple-furred familiar creature and she even called him Bubblegum.
"Is that really Amaru?" Carissa puzzled.
"My tracer says that's him." Doug said.
"Then does he look like he forgotten himself like he was hit by a spell-OH!" Mephisto realized.
"Praxina must have wiped Amaru's memories with a spell and took him away." Mephisto informed his group.
"Then we better help him." Lyna said as they run to Amaru and Lizzie.
(With Lev)
Lev looks closely at Bogan who is staring a little intensely back at him, the black-red hair teen couldn't help but feel this cat may have something to do with Amaru's disappearance.
"Lev, quiet staring at Bogan like that. You're going to make him uncomfortable." Talia scolded.
"Oh, I'm sure he doesn't mind." Lev said without taking his eyes off of him.
"Well, he needs his breakfast." Talia kneeled to pour the cat food into the bowl, then just as Bogan cuddle to her bracelet something strange happens.
"What the…?" Talia gasped.
Lev eyes widen and the others came in when they heard Talia shout to see that Bogan is somehow draining the magic from Talia's bracelet.
"Okay, that is freaky!" Nathanial freaked out a bit.
"I can't get away!" Talia tried to pull away but couldn't for some reason as Bogan just smiles evilly with the dangerous eyes.
That is when Lev realize what is up and quickly blitz to kick the cat away and outside though landed perfectly on the wooden stairs.
"Lev, did you have to kick Bogan that hard?" Auriana asked shock.
"That is NOT an earth cat." Lev said as he ready himself.
Then "Bogan" started to spike a dark purple aura feeling the evil coming off from it and after a moment, it concealed itself into a big purple crystal then shatters revealing his true form to be Banes.
"Isn't that the big bad cat we saw back with Gramorr?" Nathinal asked shock.
"Yeah, Banes is feared to be a powerful animal with dark magic and said to be second to Gramorr, if not just as strong." Lev quickly informed the others.
"Then we got a bad kitty to put down." Nathanial pounded his fists together.
"Princess of Ephedia!" Iris chanted to transform, but nothing happens.
"Iris, what's wrong?" Nathanial asked worry.
"I don't know, it's like I don't have enough magic to transform." Iris confused.
Everyone started dodging Banes dark crystal attacks while Auriana and Talia tries to transform too but like with Iris nothing is happening as they realize why.
"Gramorr must have transformed him to steal our magic." Iris said as they are now standing on a frozen-made platform.
"Then the behave on Mephisto yesterday was Banes being angry at him for leaving Gramorr." Lev mentioned.
"Lev, if we make it out of this alive, I just want you to know that I'm sorry for doubting of suspecting Bogan." Auriana apologized.
"Apology accepted, and I will be expecting of a date after this." Lev grinned making Auriana blush.
"Focus on battling the big cat right now." Nathanial reminded them.
"Chaos Spears!" Lev fired several energy spears, but Banes suddenly absorbed the spears.
"What? Did you see what it just did?" Lev asked shock.
"Guess it must have been prepared for that." Nathanial stretched his legs.
"Irisi, give me a good kick." Nathanial said before performing a charge up Spin Dash Attack.
Iris ran up to Nathanial and kick him as hard as she could sending him toward Banes though he clashes it with his own head being push back a few feet, but the black cat creature sends the blue blur boy flying into the air and teleports above to smack him down with his paws sending Nathanial into the water.
"Nathanial!" Iris feared.
"HAHAHA! This is the end of the line for you!" Praxina laughed getting their attention.
"Prepare to be destroy!" Praxina prepared to unleash a powerful crystal blast.
"I don't think so!" Mephisto punched her from the back sending her flying several feet.
Praxina turns around seeing her traitorous brother, the weird smart guy, and the other two princesses though shocked to see that Amaru is with them too.
"What?" Praxina gasped.
"Found him with a little girl, and now the tide has turned." Doug commented.
"Amaru, go help the princesses. We'll take care of Praxina." Carissa said.
Amaru nods and make his way to the three princesses with Lev and Nathanial as he quickly set up the arena.
"Glad to have you back, furball." Lev smirked as Amaru smiles back.
Banes fire a dark magical blast to sent them all to Hell, but Amaru took the blast and absorb the powers he has stolen within then gave them back to Iris, Talia, and Auriana as they transformed into their Princess form.
"You're in for it now." Nathanial glared.
Banes roars charging in while Amaru does the same charging up with his own magic power and the Chaos power he still has from Lev, they clashed their heads together creating a shockwave before pushing each other back which left an open of Lev to teleport in front of Banes for a kick to the side. Nathanial blitz attack on all sides making Banes angry as he tries to attack the boy though was a bit distracted for Iris and Talia to strike him with crystal knuckles, but Banes withstood that and smack them away. Auriana tries to trap him with her ribbon weapon on his legs, but Banes toss her around and slams her to the ground.
"Amaru, with me." Lev said.
The two come together and channel their Chaos energy into one an energy ball bigger than the two of them.
"Chaos Ball!" Lev shouted as he and Amaru threw the ball at Banes.
Banes caught the ball in his paws trying to push it back, but the power is too great, and he is the one getting push back then it exploded as everyone thought that would do him in, but shocked when they see Banes still standing with some scratches on himself.
Banes roar in anger making the heroes think he wants to fight again, but Banes just turns around and leaves.
(Gramorr Castle)
Banes returns to Gramorr's side and then shared half of the Chaos energy he managed to absorb before his defeat while keeping the other half with himself.
"Yes, Banes, I do believe today did went well for us." Gramorr smirked under his mask.
(Lolirock Backstage)
The girls thanked Amaru for coming back as they gave him the love and attention he deserves while the boys are glad that he was well, then Lizzie came back.
"Hey, I brought back Bubblegum's basket." Lizzie said, setting it down and hugs Amaru.
"Thanks again for finding the little furball, I can tell he really grown into you." Lev said as Amaru cuddle with Lizzie.
"You're welcome. And it's nice to know I can Bubblegum whenever I want, it's almost like having a pet of my own." Lizzie excited.
Amaru smiles thinking about hanging out with this girl wouldn't hurt every once and a while as he giggles.

Banes almost got away with trying to destroy the princesses and the boys if not for Amaru coming in at the last minute to help save the say, and it looks like he found a new friend to hang out with.
