FIFTEEN
Ame: Part V
This is going from bad to worse. If my ninjutsu isn't going to work, dealing with these three will be even harder. If I keep fighting like this, I'll be killed, even if I am in Sennin mode. They are that strong.
"Jiraiya-chan, we ought to retreat for now…" Pa stated.
"Right…" Jiraiya agreed.
With a puff of smoke, Jiraiya and the two frogs disappeared.
Somewhere in the pipes, Jiraiya snaked his way through, trying to think up a plan.
"Why're we runnin'?" Ma asked.
"I've been analyzing' the Rikudou boys and tryin to come up with a plan, " Pa explained, " I need a little more time to think. They may look different but they all have the same eyes."
"Even if one of them is Nagato, there is no way three people would have the Rinnegan," Jiriaya thought out loud, "What does this all mean? Which one is the real Pein?"
"Findin' the real one ain't the problem here," Pa said, "The problem is that no matter how impossible it seems, we are up against three people with the Rinnegan."
"Right," Jiraiya agreed, "And Naruto may step in at any moment. Then we would be completely screwed."
"What do you mean, Jiraiya-boy?" Ma asked.
Jiraiya shook his head, "never mind that."
"What?" Pa pushed.
"I'll explain later," Jiriaya explained, "Pein… what is he?"
"I dunno yet," Pa replied, "But give me enough time, I'll have him figured out."
"All three of them share the same field of vision. They can see from each other's vantage point," Pa continued to explain, "That's one of their eye's powers."
"What does this mean? What does it do for them?" Ma asked.
"Well basically, its like sitting in a security both and watching from three different cameras. You can see everything the camera's see all at once," Pa explained, "SO if one of them can see the target the others can as well, even if it ain't directly in their line of sight. That's how they are attacking and defending with such perfect timing. Their field of vision is three times a normal person's, unlike the Byakugan, they can cover each other's blind spots without forming any seals or using any chakra. That's one hell of a combination."
"What do you suppose we do?" Jiraiya thought out loud.
"Split them up," a voice called ahead of them.
Jiraiya skidded to a stop and focused on the figure in front of them. Whatever it was started heading in their direction. Finally the man came into view and Jiraiya's eyes widened in shock at the man standing before them.
"Naruto-boy?" Pa confirmed in shock.
"When all of them are together, they are too strong for anyone to beat, they have no weakness," Naruto explained as he continued to walk towards his old sensei with calm, emotionless face and his hands behind his back, "But one on one, you can defeat them. But make sure not to leave any bodies, seal them or it will come back to haunt you."
"Naruto, why are you helping us?" Jiraiya asked in suspicion.
"Let's just say, Pein is in the way," Naruto smirked as he came to a halt several feet away from the white haired man, "Take care of him would you?"
"What else do we need to know?" Jiraiya pushed for more information.
"They know they are at their weakest when they are separate, so they will stick to combination attacks. Taijutsu will not work nether will ninjutsu. Genjutsu can work," Naruto explained face unchanging, "Only three of them are out now, but there are six Peins total. They call themselves the Six Path of Pein. Each one retains one of the powers of the Rinnegan. The Fat one is Preta Path, he absorb any type of chakra like ninjutsu. The first one you faced with the ponytail is Animal path; he has the ability to summon any type of animal. The one with long hair is the Human path, he has the ability to read minds and yank the soul out of bodies. The three others are the Asura path, which is the ability to summon mechanized amour on the body, the Naraka Path, which uses King of Hell for Interrogation and Restoration. And the last one and the one you should be most afraid of is the Deva Path. This is the ability to use attractive and repulsive forces on objects and humans."
"But how can six people have one of the Rinnegan powers each?" Jiraiya questioned.
"Those six aren't each there own; they are controlled by one person. Taking down the bodies won't take down Pein," Naruto clarified, "You have to take down the real Pein."
"Where is the real Pein?"
"The highest room on the tallest tower in the center of the village," Naruto finished up, "That's all the information I can give you."
"That was enough," Jiraiya nodded then turned to leave.
"Wait," Naruto said, "You're injured. You won't be able to take down Pein today. You're not nearly strong enough. It will take all of Konoha to defeat him. Go back. Give Tsunade-baa-chan the information and come up with a strategy."
"You're telling me to give up?" Jiraiya narrowed him eyes.
"No," Naruto shook his head, "I'm telling you to get stronger first."
Jiraiya took a deep breath, "How do I get out?"
"Send those two home first," Naruto said as he pointed to the two frogs on his shoulders, "Then mask your chakra and follow me."
"I'll explain everything later," Jiraiya nodded to Ma and Pa. The two frogs disappeared with a puff of smoke, and then Jiraiya turn towards the young blonde.
"Why should I believe you, Naruto? Why should I follow you?" Jiraiya questioned, "How do I know you aren't going lead me right into a trap?"
Naruto sighed; he had to be expecting something like this after everything that happened so far. He knew exactly what he was going to do. Naruto reached into his cloak and pulled something out and tossed it to his old sensei. He knew that once the Sannin saw it, he would believe him. The white haired man glance back and forth between his former student and the object tossed at him.
"How did-?" Jiraiya started.
"How did I get it? Or how did I know?" Naruto finished for him.
"Both," Jiraiya narrowed his eyes.
"My father left that for me," Naruto turned away from his former sensei in shame, "Along with a lot of other things. He and mom prepared it for me in case anything were to happen to them."
"Naruto…" Jiraiya started then glanced down at the three-pronged kunai with the yellow seal.
"I do know who my parents are, Jiraiya but it doesn't change anything," Naruto growled as he went to glare at the white haired man.
"But why? They gave their life for you and the village!" Jiraiya yelled.
"I don't care about that fucking village anymore!" Naruto yelled back.
"What?" Jiraiya stood stunned, "For years you said you would protect that village and prove your existence to them. What changed?"
"Nothing changed. The village has hated me since the I was born and I finally realized that they weren't going to change those feelings," Naruto shook his head.
"What are you talking about? The villagers were starting to come around," Jiraiya tried to reason with the blonde
"Yeah, just in time for the council to practically hand me over the Akatsuki," Naruto mumbled as his back faced towards his sensei once more.
"Now that's the second time I've heard something about the council. Want to explain?" Jiraiya pushed.
Naruto sighed and turned fully around, "Danzo was informed that the Akatsuki were sending their best men to obtain me so he and the other council members negotiated with them. In the end they decided that the Akatsuki could have me if they would have mercy on Konoha if a war would start. But they also knew Tsunade would never go for something like that so they did it behind closed doors and that's how everything played out the way it did."
"That's… that's impossible," Jiraiya stuttered, "The council would never do something like that!"
"Oh, but they did."
"And when you were told this, it gave you a reason to stay with the Akatsuki instead of coming back," Jiraiya presumed.
"Essentially," Naruto shrugged.
"But Naruto, you know that no one else in the village would have done that!" Jiraiya tried to reason with the blonde again.
Naruto shook his head, "I've made my decision. It's time for you to go. We better get going before Pein finds us."
Jiraiya sighed in defeat, "Alright."
Naruto took of down one of the pipes, while Jiraiya followed. The pair zigzagged their way through the under ground pipes. Naruto would double check every now and then that Jiraiya was still following him. After a while Naruto slowed to a stop just outside the exit to the village.
"This is a far as I can go," Naruto explained without looking at his former sensei, "If I go any farther, Pein will know. Follow this down and it will lead to the large lake surrounding the village. Leave the same way you came."
"Thank you, Naruto," Jiraiya nodded, then took off down the pipes.
"Sensei," Naruto called.
Jiraiya stopped and turned around.
"Take care of Pein," Naruto stared with intense and dark eyes, "I'll take care of the rest."
Jiraiya was about to take off when Naruto spoke again, "One more thing."
"What?" Jiraiya snapped.
"Don't tell anyone," Naruto narrowed his eyes.
Jiraiya's only response was a quick nod and then continued on his way back to the village. He had a lot of explaining to do and a lot of information to give. He was going to have a long talk with a lot of people. But first he needed to focus on getting back to Konoha.

Tsunade was sitting at her desk filling out paper out subconsciously, when the door to her office squeaked open just a little bit. She looked up but found no one there. Dropping her head back down, she dismissed it as the wind or something. Then suddenly a little toad leaped on to her desk. Tsunade raised an eyebrow before smirking. There was only one guy that would travel by toad. She shooed the toad of the desk, before it opened its mouth to reveal a hand followed by the rest of the body of Jiraiya.
"Jiraiya, you're alive," Tsunade stated.
"You make it sound like you're surprised," Jiraiya pouted.
Tsunade shrugged, "Were you able to get much information?"
"Yes, a lot that I need to share with a lot of people," Jiraiya dropped his head.
"About Naruto?" Tsunade confirmed.
"Yes," Jiraiya nodded.
"Alright, I'll summon everyone," Tsunade said solemnly.
