The passage of time flowed swiftly, carrying with it almost half a dozen years of tranquility and growth for Krillin and Fasha. These years had been filled with both joy and challenges, all contributing to the creation of a loving and united family. Their journey on this distant planet had taken unexpected turns, leading to the nurturing of their adopted son, Tamotsu, and the joyous birth of their little daughter, Mugi. Together, they had forged bonds that ran deep, anchored by their shared experiences.

Life on the planet had remained peaceful, free from the threats of Saiyan attacks or the tyranny of Frieza's family. This calm allowed Krillin to explore the world, embrace his role as a family man, and, of course, engage in training with his wife, his adopted son, and now, from time to time, his energetic little girl.

Krillin had once toyed with the idea of growing out his hair, but Fasha had quickly vetoed it, making her opinion known with her characteristic straightforwardness. He respected her wishes, understanding that it was a minor concession to maintain harmony in their relationship.

During his explorations, Krillin encountered the planet's original inhabitants. These beings were kind but markedly different from both the Tuffles and the Saiyans. Although they couldn't unravel the mystery of their shared racial similarities, they did confirm that the Tuffles were not the planet's original inhabitants. This revelation hinted at the existence of an unknown origin race, a tantalizing mystery.

Returning home from one such exploration, Krillin's ears caught the sounds of combat before his eyes could see it. He witnessed Fasha engaging in a sparring session with their adopted son, Tamotsu. The preteen, showing remarkable growth, was still relatively short, a reflection of his complex genetic makeup that included Tuffle DNA. His hair was a short, dark lavender, and his inky black eyes sparkled with youthful determination. Although he resembled both Fasha and Krillin, his uniqueness was a testament to their bond and the love they had for their son.

Krillin's gaze shifted to his daughter, Mugi, who shared her mother's dark hair and captivating violet eyes. She was a cherished treasure, embodying the connection between the Saiyans and the Tuffles. She had also prompted Fasha to take a temporary break from her training, a testament to the significance of their daughter in their lives.

His eyes then settled on Fasha, his mate, and his heart swelled with affection. She had become an indispensable part of his life, a woman who challenged him, supported him, and brought endless joy into his world. Krillin watched her spar, marveling at her strength and resilience. She was, in his eyes, one of the most powerful women he had ever encountered, rivaling even Android 18.

As the spar concluded, Mugi noticed Krillin's return first and rushed over to him, her face lighting up with delight. He scooped her up into his arms, chuckling at her enthusiasm. "Daddy's back, indeed! Did Daddy find anything interesting on his trip?"

Krillin grinned, handing Mugi a small stuffed plant toy he had acquired from the planet's native inhabitants. "Well, I didn't find any groundbreaking discoveries, but I did bring back a little souvenir for you."

As Mugi beamed at her new toy, Fasha's voice chimed in playfully, "Krillin, you better not be spoiling our daughter."

Krillin laughed, and then turned to Tamotsu, who had approached them. "Tamotsu, this is from Uncle Pepino. It's a homework assignment for you to work on. You'll be fixing circuit boards. Once you're done, I'll teach you the Kamehameha wave and some other tricks."

Excitement lit up Tamotsu's face as he received the assignment, reminiscent of Krillin's own childhood. "Thanks, Dad! I'll make sure to finish it quickly."

Mugi, always eager to catch up with her older brother, asked innocently, "When will Daddy teach me the Kameka wafe?"

Fasha chuckled, ruffling Mugi's hair. "Not until you're older, sweetheart, and Daddy approves."

Suddenly, their peaceful moment was interrupted as a powerful presence entered the planet's atmosphere. The newcomer's strength was impressive, though not on par with Krillin's or Fasha's. Curiously, it was a lone Saiyan—a rarity. Krillin and Fasha shared a glance, wondering what had brought this unexpected visitor.

"Fasha, Mugi, inside now," Fasha commanded firmly. "We'll be back shortly with a meal or a treat. Just stay inside. Tamotsu, keep an eye on her. Your father and I have some business to attend to."

With their daughter safely indoors, Krillin and Fasha took to the skies and soon arrived before the Saiyan, who bore an uncanny resemblance to Goku.

"Bardock, what the hell are you doing here? Are you looking for trouble? Because if you are, you won't be leaving here alive," Fasha warned, her tone laced with authority.

Bardock, who had once been her commander, met her gaze. "With your power level, I doubt it. You've gotten soft here with these weaklings. How did someone with your power level defeat Vegeta? What kind of trick did you use?"

Fasha smirked, her confidence unwavering. "Oh, you want to see it, huh? Krillin, order me to show him our full power."

Krillin nodded, and Fasha unleashed her energy, her power level soaring past 100,000 and then 500,000, causing Bardock's scouter to explode. "Now you see, idiot. And his power is still slightly higher than mine."

Bardock was visibly taken aback by Fasha's incredible strength and the revelation that their offspring had even more potential. "I didn't come here to fight. I came to ask for your help. Our world is under attack by an evil tyrant who has already assaulted our troops on the frontier worlds. We need your help to stop this creature. You're the only ones who stand a chance. You spared us once; not helping would be the same as killing us yourselves. Besides, you know you'll have to fight him someday anyway."

"Says the man who abandoned me and didn't speak up for me. I have a family to look out for, and my mate has a planet to protect," Fasha retorted, bitterness lacing her words as she recalled her past.

"I have a family too. I need your help to protect them—Gine, Raditz, and little Kakarot as well," Bardock revealed.

Krillin, intrigued by this revelation, questioned, "How old is Kakarot now, and does he look just like you?"

Bardock answered, "He's three years old now, and yes, he looks exactly like me."

Krillin's heartstrings were tugged, and he made a decision. "We'll help. We'll prepare and be there within a week. Go back and inform your king. We do this not for your race but for your son and the man he could become."

Both Fasha and Bardock were surprised by this unexpected act of compassion. "Fine," Bardock replied cautiously. "But don't betray us."

As Bardock departed

to convey the news, Fasha turned to Krillin with curiosity. "Krillin, why does his son matter to you? You've never met him before. What's going on?"

Krillin gestured for them to head home, promising to explain everything along the way. The next saga—the Cold Family Battle Arc—had begun, and they were stepping into uncharted territory.
