Cody never hated Chris McLean as much as he did right now.
It's been a year since World Tour and now Cody has returned for the All Star season of Total Drama in Camp Wawanakwa.
Originally he did not plan on going to the season but eventually Sierra and even Heather convinced him to come back and he was already regretting his decision.
You see, Chris decided it would be a fun idea to put the contestants in a helicopter and chuck them out into the ocean along with pulling a prank that Feral Ezekiel would be joining.
Now everyone was at the shore and dripping wet, when Chris walked over with the robot behind him.
"Greetings old friends." Chris smirked.
Heather then coughed up a starfish and threw it to the side, "I am NOT your friend."
"Awwww, does somebody miss her honey bunny?" Lindsay asked sweetly as she cupped Heather's face before it flashed to a look of disgust.
"Who? Alejandro? As if!" Heather shoved the blonde off of her, "I'm glad he isn't back! I'm over that loser anyway."
"You're over Alejandro? Ha! That'll be the day." Leshawna smirked mockingly from in front of them.
Cody stiffened at the mention of the Spaniard before asking worriedly, "Is Alejandro returning? There's an odd number of contestants. I mean there's seventeen of us after all."
"Chillax, Alejandro's not available for this season right now." Chris rolled his eyes, "You act as if he did something heinous and heart shattering towards you."
Cody's eyes widened when he heard that before Sierra immediately spoke up with a smirk, "Well shoving someone into shark infested waters can make you hold a grudge."
Sierra winked at Cody in a reassuring manner and Cody was thankful she stepped in, Sierra was one of the few people who Cody told about his encounter with Alejandro and she had been extremely supportive over the whole ordeal, it also helped when it came to boundaries. The only other contestants who knew about Cody's first time were Trent and Noah.
"We've got a lot of big changes for this season. For example, the island is now toxic waste free." Chris said happily.
"Good, I don't need my looks being messed up by some toxic goop." Anne Maria smirked.
"I've also upgraded your accommodations." Chris smiled as the robot then wheeled in a TV showing the old cabin, "Losers still have to sleep in a crummy old cabin."
Cody and the rest of the contestants were not happy with this news before the TV zoomed out to show a Spa Hotel, "But the winners get to stay in the McLean Brand Spa Hotel. Complete with hot tubs, air conditioning, and twenty four hour massages."
That got Cody and the others excited before Chris revealed the next big news, "This season, I will be putting you in teams based on your past performances. Heroes versus Villains."
Chris soon called out the names of the villains' team, "Heather, Duncan, Lightning, Jo, Courtney, Scott, Sierra, and Gwen. You are now all the Villainous Vultures!"
"What?!" Gwen and Courtney asked at the same time, "Why am I here?!"
"Simply put, the whole love triangle situation put all of you in an equal footing when it came to morality. Given the whole infidelity and abuse, this was inevitable." Sierra explained with hyperactivity.
"You don't seem shocked to be on the villains' team." Heather raised an eyebrow.
"What I did to Cody was pretty controversial. I'm not too shocked." Sierra admits sheepishly.
"Okay. Mike, Zoey, Cameron, Brick, Anne Maria, Leshawna, Lindsay, Cody, and Owen. You're all now the Heroic Hamsters!" Chris said happily.
"Alright Hamsters! We're gonna own this game!" Leshawna smirked proudly.
"Wait a minute." Lightning narrowed her eyes, "They have nine players to our eight, that ain't fair."
"I needed the extra seat for the Ezekiel prank." Chris shrugged nonchalantly but a glare from Lightning made him groan, "Fine. You can have the robot."
Chris pressed a button that allowed the robot to wheel over to the villains' team.
"I thought that robot could talk." Duncan raised an eyebrow.
"Meh. The communication chip malfunctioned while I was gone." Chris shrugged.
Suddenly Cody saw the robot turn over towards him, making the geek feel really uncomfortable. Heather seemed to notice this and slammed her fist onto the robot's head.
"Hey toaster! Quit gawking at the geek and pay attention!" Heather snarled.
"This year's challenges are all nods to classics from the past, but with harsh new twists to make this the toughest Total Drama season ever!" Chris said happily as he turned on the TV, "Your first challenge: find the key to the spa hotel and you'll do it in an o-mage the Total Drama's first ever challenge cliff diving into water infested with ravenous sharks. Once you dive into the water, try to avoid the sharks long enough to snag a key, and choose wisely, only one of those suckers are the real deal assuming you live long enough to reach dry land, a teammate will drive you to the hotel in one of the baby carriages from season three's race through Central Park."
As Chris said this, some interns were demonstrating how to do the challenge and after seeing that, Chris walked onto a jeep, "First team to unlock the spa door wins, and someone from the loser team will be going home tonight, meet me at the base of the cliff in 15 minutes, chop, chop."
"Wait! Shouldn't we change into our swimsuits first?" Mike hollered out.
"Sorry. No time." Chris called back.
Soon the teams began heading to the cliff together and Cody saw the robot following him as he tried to walk with his team much to his annoyance.
"Do you mind?!" Cody grumbled in annoyance as he glared at the robot before it began heading towards the villains.
"Are we sure that robot doesn't belong to the stalker girl or something?" Anne Maria snarked.
"Sierra's actually mellowed out after World Tour." Cody told the hairsprayer.
"I figured as much." Cameron spoke up, "She hasn't exactly been clinging herself onto you as we expected."
"Hey Cody, Brick, and Anne Maria, what brought you guys back?" Owen asked happily.
"I decided I could try another shot at winning a million dollars. After all, Total Drama was usually a good test of endurance for me." Brick smiled fondly.
"I just want a fair try again after I was robbed of winning Revenge Of The Island over a fake diamond." Anne Maria said bitterly.
"Wouldn't you have just been voted off in another episode though?" Lindsay asked, oblivious to social cues as always.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Anne Maria narrows her eyes angrily before Zoey immediately breaks up a potential fight.
"Okay, break it up. There's no telling what would have happened if Anne Maria hadn't quit." Zoey told the two girls.
"So Cody, how come you came back?" Mike asked the geek, trying to defuse the situation.
Cody felt all eyes on him, and his first thought was about how he didn't want to come back at first due to what the end of World Tour put him through, making him freeze up before speaking up, "Sierra and Heather were both coming back and I figured I might as well join."
"I didn't know you were friends with Heather." Leshawna raised a curious eyebrow.
"Eh, we're decent enough friends." Cody shrugged off.
After making it to the base of the cliff, Chris had explained that each team would need a designated driver to push the carriages for their teams. Brick and Jo immediately volunteered for their team, their rivalry as intense as ever and everyone else ran to the top of the cliff to prepare for today's challenge. It turned out that Fang was also in the water much to Scott's terror.
The challenge started out simple and straightforward. Lightning and Leshawna were the first to jump for both teams, and while Jo and Brick were heading to the Spa Hotel, Cody spotted Sierra walking over to Gwen and Duncan.
"You know, a lot of my blog readers were really mad about you guys hooking up, but other than the cheating, I can say that love is love." Sierra smiled at the punk couple brightly.
"Just like you and your Cody-Wody I imagine?" Duncan smirked mockingly.
"Actually, I've been trying to get over that." Sierra said happily.
"Oh yeah, Cody did mention that to me. How come you made that decision?" Gwen asked curiously.
Sierra turned to look at Cody awkwardly before explaining, "Certain events made me realize I shouldn't try and force anything on him."
Gwen and Duncan didn't question that and after that, Duncan was next to jump and soon afterwards, Brick had also returned with Leshawna.
"For Tyler!" Lindsay screamed joyfully as she was next to jump, though she was quickly slowed down by sharks chasing her which did hinder her efforts at getting a key.
To no one's surprise, neither of them got the right key in the end, the next ones to jump were Mike and Gwen, well… they more or less took a tumble after Mike went into an incoherent mess after Zoey kissed him on the cheek. Speaking of which, the red head ended up saving them by using Mike's necklace to fling rocks at the sharks' noses.
Afterwards, Zoey and Courtney were next to jump, nothing much of note happened other than them skillfully dodging the sharks.
Once they went, Anne Maria and Sierra took a leap, and both of them were able to take out the sharks with their bare fists which was definitely impressive. Still didn't get a key though.
Once Cody took a head count of who was next to jump, he realized it was between him, Owen, and Cameron on who to jump and Cody definitely knew those two were more scared of sharks than he was.
Well, the sharks were busy reeling so he decided to bite the bullet and jump off. He quickly got a key and swam off to head to the heroes' carriage.
"Hurry before we lose our lead." Cody cried out before Brick nodded and began pushing the carriage as fast as he could.
It didn't take long for Jo and Heather to catch up, with the former pushing of course.
"Give it up dampy pants. Our team definitely has you beat." Jo smirked at the cadet.
"Negative!" Brick hardened his gaze at the tomboy, "We will not give up until we get that hotel!"
"You both realize this is purely luck based, right?" Cody asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Don't bother." Heather rolled her eyes.
Once they reached the hotel, both he and Heather tried their keys and big surprise, the keys didn't work.
After that, they began heading back to the cliff and once they got there, they saw that Lightning and Scott had accidentally back slammed into the robot as Lightning tried to pry the dirt farmer off a rock. The robot immediately tumbled off the cliff and into the water.
"So long and good riddance." Heather smirked, and Cody couldn't help but feel weirded out by the whole situation, meanwhile Cameron had already gotten in the carriage and been pushed away by Brick.
Suddenly a massive explosion sent the sharks flying in the air and from the skies Cody saw something that made his eyes widen in horror.
He was all disheveled but he easily recognized who was in the air, it was Alejandro.
"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!"Heather cried out in shock while Cody just stared wide eyed and mouth agape at Alejandro as he landed at the sandy ground, it wasn't until he had promptly fallen over had Cody snapped out of his stupor.
Jo immediately took Alejandro and carried him bridal style to the carriage but he didn't miss the surprised look Alejandro gave him, almost as if he were analyzing him to see if he was really there.
Cody quickly turned away, something that Heather raised an eyebrow at, but thankfully didn't comment on.

Alejandro was pleasantly surprised when it turned out he had gotten the right key to the Spa Hotel. This meant that the villains had won the challenge, much to the heroes' dismay of course as they would now have to vote someone off. He enjoyed the shocked looks Cameron and Brick gave him when they showed up to see that they had lost.
However, he was certainly surprised when he saw Cody competing this season. He hasn't seen Cody since the final challenge of Total Drama World Tour and if he was honest, he wasn't sure if he would ever see him again. He knew things were bound to be awkward between them, they shared a very intimate moment after all but for now, he was focusing on relaxing in the Spa Hotel bed in the boys' room, which wouldn't be so hard if Duncan, Scott, and Lightning weren't being so loud.
"Dude, you totally almost screwed us over today." Duncan was currently chastising Scott over his cowardice in today's challenge.
"It's not my fault that the mutated shark has a stupid grudge against me." Scott scoffed furiously.
"All you had to do was sha-jump off the dang cliff! It's not that hard!" Lightning said angrily.
"Easy to say when you weren't almost devoured by Fang!" Scott said defensively, "Besides, at least we have a functioning teammate now!"
Alejandro couldn't stand to listen to those brutes arguing anymore and quickly got on his hands and began walking off, yes, his hands, he was a gifted balancer and his legs were asleep so this was the best way he could move.

Cody's head was reeling as he sat on the bottom bunk of the loser cabin, he couldn't believe that Alejandro was really back. He was prepared to compete this entire season without having to be reminded of him, but no, Total Drama loves to mess with him.
"Uh, Cody!" Cameron tapped him on the shoulder.
"Huh- what?!" Cody snapped out of his daze.
"We were asking you for your input on who should leave tonight. I was thinking of Lindsay for slowing us down." Brick explained to the geek.
"And I figured Owen should leave for not jumping." Mike added his two cents.
"You have the most experience with these two, who do you think deserves to go?" Cameron asked curiously.
Cody figured this was a decent distraction from his current dilemma so he decided to contribute to the discussion, "Lindsay should probably go. Owen may not be the smartest but he's shown more challenge prowess than Lindsay."
"Fair enough. I'll keep that in mind when making my vote." Mike nodded.
"Cool, I'm gonna go get some fresh air." Cody replied before exiting the cabin to clear his head, he didn't need to be spacing out with everyone else around.
Once he left, Cameron, Brick, and Mike all shared awkward glances.
"What's up with him?" Brick asked in concern.
"Beats me. He was like this ever since Alejandro showed up." Mike shrugged.
"You guys don't think something serious happened between Cody and Alejandro, do you?" Cameron asked curiously.
"Maybe he's just afraid Alejandro will dominate the game again." Brick suggested.
"I don't think we need to worry about that. I'm pretty sure Alejandro's social game is pretty poor after season three." Mike told the boys.
"Yeah, that might be it." Cameron shrugged, though he couldn't exactly fight the feeling something more was going on with Cody and Alejandro.
Meanwhile, Cody was walking along the island to clear his head, he definitely needed to clear his head after nearly making a fool of himself back at the cabins. He just needed to clear his mind and not think about-
"I assume your teammates are annoying you too?" A familiar Spanish voice was heard behind Cody.
It's official, the world hates him.
Cody turned behind him to see Alejandro was there walking on his hands.
"What are you doing here?" Cody leered angrily at the Spaniard.
"Getting some fresh air from my teammates. I swear, they can be so ignorant." Alejandro rolled his eyes.
"Well, I'd take ignorant over flaky." Cody narrows his eyes.
"I take it you're still upset?" Alejandro asked curiously.
"Oh no, being used as a fling only to be ditched was so fun, you should try it sometimes." Cody smiled sarcastically.
"Cody, allow me to explain-" Alejandro spoke up before Cody interrupted.
"No! You know what, I don't want to hear it." Cody glared angrily at Alejandro, "You ditched me after you had your fun with me and I'm probably not the only one you played around with."
"I haven't been intimate with anybody on this show except for you." Alejandro tried defending himself but Cody just laughed bitterly.
"Oh wow, I feel so special." Cody rolled his eyes, "Do me a favor and stay out of my way."
Cody began walking off furiously, unaware of the concerned look in Alejandro's eyes.

It was now elimination time, Cody had already voted and was sitting next to Owen on a stump, the others doing the same of course.
"Welcome to the first elimination ceremony! How do you like the new peanut gallery, eh? Now the winners can watch the opponents give someone the boot before they head to the spa hotel for a deluxe dinner!" Chris smirked as he gestured to the Villainous Vultures sitting in some bleachers causing them all to cheer.
"Before we start, I need one winner to volunteer for a special reward." Chris said happily, causing Lightning to immediately skid forward.
"Ha! Lightning!" Lightning boasted proudly.
"Great! Your reward is spending the night in exile on Boney Island with all the hungry wild animals!" Chris said.
"How is that a reward?" Lightning asked incredulously.
"Because the McLean invincibility statue is hidden somewhere on that island, find it and it's yours." Chris explained as he held up a wooden carving of his face.
"Oh of course now you mention it." Scott rolled his eyes.
"This year, you all got to vote by placing an x on the 8x10 photo of the person you want to eliminate. Now we will be seeing who you all chose to eliminate." Chris smirked before tossing marshmallows to the safe campers, "Leshawna, Zoey, Mike, Cody, Anne Maria, Brick, and Cameron."
"Owen and Lindsay, you both didn't contribute much to your team today. Owen didn't jump while Lindsay was too busy being chased by sharks." Chris smirked, reeling up the dramatic tension, loving the concerned faces in Owen and Lindsay.
"The last marshmallow goes to…" Chris began as Owen and Lindsay's fear increased before tossing the marshmallow, "Owen."
Owen immediately caught the marshmallow with his mouth much to Cody's happiness, seeing as his friend was still in the game.
Once Lindsay was announced eliminated, she had to take the newest elimination device the Flush Of Shame which was a giant toilet. She got some goodbyes from Owen, Leshawna, and Zoey before being flushed.
After that, Cody immediately headed for the cabin and decided to crash for the night, today brought some tension and unpleasant surprises and memories. He would rather just try and socialize with his teammates tomorrow.
