After a few days of nothing, Beast Boy and Terra were finally going to properly meet up and hang out like they did before the betrayal and Terra's apparent death.
Beast Boy kept up his new exercise routine and now he looked a bit better than he did when he last saw Terra. He talked to Raven and Cyborg about what he should say to her and how he should explain certain things about their previous relationship. He even started to help Robin get out of his comfort zone and embrace the nudist life, but the furthest Robin was willing to go right now was being in nothing but his boxers.
But now, Beast Boy was ready. He was ready to continue the relationship that both gave him joy and internally destroyed him.
Beast Boy transformed into a hawk before leaving the Titans Tower and finding the location Terra wanted to meet him at. It took him around 15 minutes, but he eventually found her at the abandoned theme park the two went to on the night they first went out on a date together. The night of the betrayal.
Beast Boy quickly transformed into a dog once he touched the ground and he and Terra looked at each other before Beast Boy said, "Hey! What's up? Um, am I the only one who feels weird about being here?"
"Nope, I feel the same way. This place was the turning point the first time we dated. What happened here on that night is something I'd wish to forget. How I broke your trust. How I made life worse for you. I… I'm really ashamed about it." said Terra.
"Terra, don't be ashamed. That was in the past. Slade is gone. He won't control you anymore and now we can rewrite that night. We can actually have a really awesome date." said Beast Boy.
"You're right. Although, going on a date with you in this form is going to be pretty awkward." said Terra.
"What? It's not like I have much choice. I can't just walk around town in my normal form unless I wanted to be a social pariah." said Beast Boy.
"But this place is abandoned, so it's not necessary to be in your animal form." said Terra.
"Well, you do make a point." Beast Boy said before turning back into his normal, nude form.
"I see you've worked out." said Terra.
"Oh, I'm glad you noticed. I've getting more into shape recently." said Beast Boy.
"I like it. So, ready to have some fun?" asked Terra.
"You bet I'm ready!" Beast Boy said before he grabbed Terra's hand and the two walked into the amusement park together.
And for the next few hours, Beast Boy and Terra had a blast at the amusement park. They basically repeated what they did on their last date minus Slade's involvement. They went on all the rides, particularly the roller coaster and the Gravitron, and not once did Beast Boy's nude state affect him or Terra in the slightest. Instead, he felt free. Free from crime fighting, free from the emotional pain caused from Terra's betrayal, and free from feeling like he needed to hide who he was. It was the best Beast Boy had felt in a long time.
The very last ride Beast Boy and Terra went on was the Ferris Wheel and while on the ride, the two made conversation.
"So, you had a good night?" asked Beast Boy.
"Yes, I had a great night with you. Going back here turned out to be a great decision." said Terra.
"Yeah, it was. So, we're officially doing this, huh?" asked Beast Boy.
"It seems like it. I've never had a long-term relationship with anybody before." said Terra.
"And neither have I." said Beast Boy.
"Well…how do you want to do this?" asked Terra.
"I guess we take things slow. We go to some places for fun, talk about our deepest secrets, and do some more physical things later down the line." said Beast Boy.
"Physical, huh? Would kissing be fine right now?" asked Terra.
"Sure. Why not?" Beast Boy said before he was interrupted with a sudden kiss from Terra and mere moments later, Beast Boy accepted the kiss and the two locked lips until they decided to get off the Ferris Wheel.
"So, I'll see you next time?" asked Beast Boy.
"You bet. I'll see what's the best time for us to do something again. If you have any ideas, let me know in advance." said Terra.
"Alright. Sounds like a plan." said Beast Boy.
The two shared another kiss before Beast Boy transformed into a hawk and flew off towards Titans Tower.
When Beast Boy got back to the Tower, he was greeted with the visual of Robin's nude form, as he seemed to look comfortable being au naturel. Or at least he was, until Beast Boy saw him, and he quickly covered his crotch.
"Dude, can you give a warning first?" asked Robin.
"Sorry, dude. Flew over my head. I see you've gotten comfortable being in your birthday suit." said Beast Boy.
"Well, it helps that no one's around. Or WAS around before you came in." said Robin.
"Again, sorry about that. You know, since we're the only two here right now, you want to chill out and talk?" asked Beast Boy.
"About what?" asked Robin.
"Anything and everything, I guess?" replied Beast Boy.
"Sure, why not? It's not like I got anything better to do right now." said Robin.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Yeah, for the 2nd time with this story, it took a stupid amount of time to make another chapter. This is mainly due to school, work, and updating a ton of stories over the past year. I seriously hope it doesn't take me another year to make another chapter, but the next chapter will be a direct follow-up to this one, as Robin and Beast Boy will talk about various things together. Also, I'm working on older stories and newer stories (those newer stories being a Kasai rewrite and a Danny Phantom story, both will be lengthy and more serious than most of my work).
