After making the phone call, it didn't take long for Terra to arrive at Titans Tower and while it was strange for the Titans to see Terra in the flesh again, their main focus right now was to get her to talk to Beast Boy.
"Where is he?" asked Terra.
"In his room. He won't let any of us in, so we thought you would have a better chance. He trusts you more than anyone." said Cyborg.
"And if anything happens, let us know. We're really worried about him." said Robin.
Terra nodded and walked to Beast Boy's room. She knocked on the door and Beast Boy responded with, "Go away!"
"Beast Boy, it's me." said Terra.
"Terra?" asked Beast Boy.
"Yes, it's Terra. Can I please come in?" asked Terra.
Several seconds of silence went by before Beast Boy said, "Sure."
Beast Boy unlocked the door and allowed Terra inside and she saw him holding a pillow and looking emotionally distraught. And it broke her heart.
The two then sat down on Beast Boy's bed and Beast Boy asked, "How did you know?"
"Robin called. He told me what happened, and I came here as fast as I could." said Terra.
"Well, I'm glad you're here but…Terra, I don't know what to do. I was totally exposed. Now, everyone's going to see me as a naked freak." said Beast Boy.
"I've never thought that way about you. And your friends haven't either." said Terra.
"I know that but what about my fans or other superheroes? They're never going to look at me the same and things are just going to be so weird now." said Beast Boy.
"While I can't say everyone would easily accept your lifestyle, I believe a good amount of people will look past it and still see you for the hero you are. I seriously don't think this one incident is going to ruin you forever." said Terra.
"You really believe that?" asked Beast Boy.
"I do. And no matter what happens, I'll be by your side, just like how you were always by my side." said Terra.
"Thanks, Terra." said Beast Boy.
"Now, are you ready to talk to the others? They're quite worried about you." said Terra.
"Sure." Beast Boy said before he and Terra left his room and went into the living room, where the other Titans were.
Instantly, Beast Boy was bombarded with his friends asking him if he was okay and Beast Boy responded with, "Guys, I'll be fine in a few days but...I'm just really worried right now."
"BB, no matter what happens, no matter what people say, we'll still be with you." said Cyborg.
"But what if this affects your reputations too?" asked Beast Boy.
"Honestly, if being friends with you means sacrificing our popularity, so be it." said Robin.
"Beast Boy, being friends with you is more important than whatever opinion the public has about you." said Starfire.
"And it's going to take something CATASTROPHIC for us to not be around you and I don't think you're capable of pulling that off." said Raven.
"Thanks guys." Beast Boy said before everyone enveloped him in a group hug.
"And who knows, maybe things won't be as bad as you think they'll be." said Robin.
"Yeah. I'm sure other heroes will be more accepting of you than the general public." said Cyborg.
"I hope so." said Beast Boy.
For the rest of the day, Beast Boy was able to take his mind off the situation by playing video games with Robin and Cyborg. And while he wasn't sure what would happen in the future, he was grateful that he still had his friends and girlfriend.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter. Man, I have a nasty habit of dropping this story for long periods of time, but I have my reasons. I had to not only finish college, but I had to work on stories that I was generally more interested in writing. And yes, this chapter was short, but I didn't think it needed to be too long. The next chapter will deal with the Justice League's response to Beast Boy's nudism. Also, I'm working on a ton of stories so stay tuned for more updates.
