Summary: Mike introduces Will and El to Eddie.

Will started to bite at his fingernail.
El noticed and smacked his hand away from his mouth.
Will sighed. Ever since El learned about bad habits, she'd been dead set on getting rid of his bad habit. Biting his nails when he was nervous.
And right now, he was nervous.
Will and El were about to meet Eddie Munson.
The guys were always telling stories about Eddie. How Eddie did this cool thing in the campaign, how Eddie stood up to people, how Eddie was such a great dungeon master.
And while Will was excited to meet him, he was also jealous. Every time the boys talked about DND, he got a pang in his chest, reminding when none of the guys wanted to play DND last summer. And how Will promised that he wouldn't play DND in California. And here they were, a part of the Hellfire Club.
But he knew he shouldn't take that out on Eddie.
So, when he followed Mike into Eddie's hospital room, he decided to be nice.
"Hey, Mike!" a guy with long, curly hair greeted. "Nice to see you!"
"Good to see you too." Mike told him. "I brought some friends along. Eddie, meet El and Will. El and Will, meet Eddie."
Eddie grinned at the siblings. "Nice to finally meet you guys. I've heard a lot about you."
El quietly responded, "Nice to meet you too." while Will told him, "We've also heard a lot about you."
It was quiet for a moment, before El spoke up. "So, you do DND?"
"Yeah, I'm the dungeon master!" Eddie said with some flare.
Then, he turned to Will. "I heard you've been the dungeon master for a while as well."
Will blushed and nodded.
"Well, dude, I'd love to write up a campaign with you one time. You know, get together, compare notes."
"Yea- yeah! I'd love that." Will stuttered.
Eddie smiled, then turned to El.
"So, you have superpowers?" he asked.
El shyly nodded.
Eddie's smile stretched wider. "That's so cool! You'll have to show me some time."
"I can show you now," El whispered. "If you'd like."
Eddie raised his eyebrows. "Sure!"
El nodded, then concentrated on a bag of chips that were on a table.
The bag then started to float across the room and soon it landed on Eddie's bed table.
Eddie looked at El with wide eyes.
"That was so cool!" he cried out.
El blushed.
"Thanks."
Eddie's hospital phone rang.
Eddie looked at it in surprise, then answered it.
As Eddie talked on the phone, Mike inched closer to Will and El.
"He's great, isn't he?" Mike asked.
"Yeah, he's friendly." El told him.
Will nodded in agreement.
Eddie hung up the phone.
"That was Max, asking if you guys were here. Apparently, she wants to talk to El for a minute." he told them.
El nodded.
"Alright, I'll head down there. It was nice to meet you, Eddie." she said.
"Nice to meet you too." Eddie said.
"I'll go with you." Mike told El, then the two of them left the room.
The two dungeon masters watched them go.
"So, Will. What has your favorite campaign you wrote?" Eddie asked.
"Umm," Will though about it for a moment. "There were a lot of great ones. Probably the one I wrote last summer though."
"Oh, yeah?" Eddie asked. "What did the others think of it?"
"Oh, uh," Will stammered. "We never got the chance to play it. I wrote it the week of the whole Battle of Starcourt."
Eddie furrowed his eyebrows.
"But it's been almost a year since," he pointed out. "Wouldn't you have time to play after?"
"Well, it was a bit hectic the couple months after with the move and everything. And whenever we visited, we either didn't do a campaign or we did another one that one of the others worked on." Will explained.
"Why not one of yours?" Eddie asked.
"Oh, I didn't have the materials in California. I had donated all of my stuff before moving."
"Why?"
Will shrugged. "I'm not completely sure. I think it was because I wouldn't find people who played and would just have to play with the guys. I even promised that I wouldn't get a part of a DND club when I was gone."
"Wait, wait," Eddie stopped him. "Did the others make this promise?"
Will broke high contact with Eddie. "Uh, well Lucas and Dustin didn't, Mike did. But it was kind of for everyone I guess."
Eddie was stunned.
"Oh man," Eddie dragged a hand across his face. "I'm sorry."
"Why are you sorry?" Will asked.
"Because the guys are in Hellfire and-" Eddie started.
"Stop. I don't blame you for that. I mean, you seem like a really cool dungeon master and I'm glad the guys are a part of your club."
"Really?"
"Yeah, for sure." Will told him. And he was right. Sure, it hurt a little when the guys told him stories and he wasn't able to be a part of them, but now that he was back, they'd be able to create more memories.
"Sweet!" Eddie exclaimed. "You know, it was really cool meeting you, Byers."
"Yeah," Will smiled. "Yeah it was."
