73- Sisters
Summary: During the summer, El has been begging Mike for her to meet Holly. Now, it's finally happening, and the two of them might even form a sisterly bond.

El bounded up the front steps of the Wheelers.
Before she could ring the doorbell, the door opened.
El looked down and saw the tiny face of Holly Wheeler.
"Hello." El spoke.
Holly just stared at her.
El swallowed. She'd been wanting to meet Holly for a while now, but not like this.
"Um, I'm El. Mike's girlfriend." she introduced herself.
Holly eyes widened.
Then, "Ellie!" she cried and tugged on her hand.
El smiled and followed the 5-year-old into the house.
Mike was at the dinner table when she walked in.
"Mikey! Look who's here!" Holly squealed.
Mike looked up from his cereal bowl.
"El!" Mike jumped up and gave her a hug.
El returned it.
"Hi Mike." she spoke.
"Mikey! Can she play with me?"
Oh right.
The 5-year-old.
"Uh." Mike looked towards El.
"Yeah! Yeah, I can!" El told Holly.
Holly cheered and ran off to the living room.
El was about to follow when Mike caught her arm.
"El! Are you sure? She can be a bit of a handful."
"Yeah! Mike, I've been asking you to meet Holly all summer!" El scolded.
"Really? I don't remember that." Mike squinted.
"Maybe because you kept wanting to make out with me." El smirked and headed to the living room.
Mike chased after her and stopped in the hallway.
"I thought you liked making out!" he hissed.
"So what do I do again?" El asked.
"Silly Ellie!" Holly giggled. "You pour the tea for all of the guests, do a toast, and don't forget your pinky finger!"
El was dressed in a pink scarf with a silver tiara perched on her head.
Holly was in a similar outfit, but her scarf was purple, and she had long gloves to match.
El picked up the tea pot and poured the "tea" into the five teacups.
The three other guests were Berry, Tiger, and Pups.
"Now we toast!" Holly squealed, holding out her cup.
El clinked her cup against Holly's.
Both sipped their tea, pinkies out.
Suddenly, Holly gasped.
"I'll be right back. Stay here!"
Holly ran out of the room while El waited.
As she waited, El took off her tiara and admired it.
Holly soon was back and El placed her tiara back on her head.
El noticed that Holly was carrying a boom box.
"Let's dance!" Holly cried and pushed play.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun filled the air.
Holly started skipping around the living room, singing to the lyrics.
El stood still for a moment, not knowing what to do.
Holly stopped and looked at her. "Come on!" the girl grabbed her wrists and pulled her around the living room.
El giggled and started jumping up and down.
The two girls danced to the entirety of the song, collapsing on the couch once it was done.
Holly looked over at El, grinning.
"I love you, Ellie!"
El felt a swell in her chest.
"I love you too."
"Let's go, Mike!" Max called as she entered the Wheelers with the rest of the Party behind her.
"I'll be down in a sec!" Mike yelled back.
"He better hurry, we got to get to the arcade." Dustin muttered.
It had been two weeks since El met Holly and every time El was over she would play with the girl at least once.
Speaking of which, the Party could hear somone running.
Holly cruised around the corner and screamed, "Ellie!"
El picked up Holly and twirled her around.
"Hey Holly!"
"Here to play?" Holly asked, hopeful.
"Sorry, no. We're going to go to the arcade." El told her.
"Can I go to the arcade?"
El shook her head. "Sorry."
Holly pouted.
"Tell you what. I'll play with you after I get back. Sound good?"
"Yay! Even tea party?"
"Even tea party."
Holly grinned and wriggled out of El's arms.
She turned and ran down the hall, just dodging Mike as he came down the stairs.
"Watch where you're going, Holly!" he called after her.
All he got in response was a giggle.
Dustin looked at El. "I didn't know you and Holly were close."
El shrugged. "I've gotten to know her a bit."
"You were acting like siblings." Will observed.
No one could get further into the subject because Max then turned and asked Mike, "You ready?"
"Yeah, just need to grab my shoes."
Everyone groaned.
"You guys go ahead. We'll catch up." El suggested.
Lucas raised his eyebrows.
"Fine, just no making out. You better be walking with us to the arcade in 5 minutes." Dustin warned.
The couple nodded.
The Party left and Mike and El were submersed into comfortable silence.
"So, I actually wanted to talk to you about Holly." Mike told her as he shoved a foot into his shoe.
"Oh? What about her?"
"I just wanted to let you know that..." Mike hesitated.
"Yes?"
"You guys are really cute. I'm glad you get along." Mike admitted.
"Really?" El asked.
"Yeah, you seem good for each other."
"Well, thank you, Mike." El smiled. "Should we get going?"
Mike sighed and nodded.
"Unless you want to..."
"No."
"But I thought you liked to-"
"Let's go, Mike."
