RFtheGreat: I think they have made him better in the new season TBF, he feels more like his TDWT character, and it helps having Chef be the counter to him. Obviously given his hatred for Ezekiel his more sadistic personality does tend to show itself, hence threatening Lauren's home and lying to him about bringing him back in TDWT.
That was the plan! It helped having Zee be introduced at this point as he just helps keep things chill, rather than the conflicts from previous chapters. As for the moment with Lauren, the best part of that was that neither of them even realised what was going to happen, and even now Ezekiel's still clueless to it, Lauren on the other hand is beginning to realise which has already come into play with her fighting against Chris last chapter.
For the returning characters showing up at the Playa soon, let's just say a few of them have been mentioned before in the fic, and about Izzy and Lauren, that would be pure chaos, and why not both XD. Thank you for the positive comments, I'm really flattered, and I'm glad this story is still good enough to keep you interested. =D
Chapter Thirteen
Chris McLean smirked at the pair standing in front of him, taunting them one last time with his signature smile after he'd repeatedly beaten Ezekiel into the ground verbally and threatened Scary Girl into backing off. Satisfied with the results but slightly concerned that Scary Girl would attack him for threatening the circus she called 'home', he retreated from the lobby, beginning to head back to Camp Wawanakwa in order to see how the current challenge was progressing.
Ezekiel glared at the door where Chris had just left as Caleb and Wayne let go of him, the pair satisfied that a fight would no longer break out after the host had left.
"What an asshole." Ripper scoffed, the others nodding in agreement, actually siding with the Alpha Male for a change.
Damien looked over towards the duo of Lauren and Ezekiel, the pair both stood silently glaring towards where the host was last spotted. He could understand their position in all of this, and despite seeing glimpses of it already during his brief time on the island, Damien could finally see what the other contestants were on about in regards to Chris McLean, the man was an absolute psychopath.
He stared silently as Lauren quietly seethed, her creepy smile stuck in place however her eyes alight with fiery anger. Usually Damien couldn't see what Ezekiel saw in Lauren, usually when the duo interacted she was usually trying to either scare him or maim him, claiming she found Damien's screams "delicious…".
However in this case he sympathised with her, hearing that her home was being threatened by Chris was a shock, but it made him realise that 'Scary Girl' was in fact human like the rest of them.
Sure it was different being raised somewhere like that, and Damien was positive that this probably partially explained why Lauren was the way she was, but to him seeing Lauren's anger towards what Chris was doing was reassuring, that she wasn't what the rest of them thought she was going to be, a serial killer in the making…
He looked at Ezekiel afterwards, like with Lauren the sympathy was there for him, he'd heard from the others about Ezekiel's tragedy on Total Drama World Tour, how he'd lost his humanity on the plane, and he had heard about Ezekiel's frequent nightmares about the time spent as an animal used for the shows entertainment.
It was inhumane what had happened to Ezekiel, and at times it felt almost like a completely different person to the person Lauren had found on Boney Island.
Whatever happened on Boney Island it seemed to have helped him mentally, both of them really, as Lauren had felt more likeable ever since she'd made her way to the resort with Ezekiel in tow. Lauren still had her moments where she'd completely freak him out, and he still thought she was extremely creepy, however those moments were starting to become less and less frequent.
Scary Girl still freaked him out, but Lauren…
He could find himself being friends with Lauren, given enough time, he'd become friends quite quickly with Ezekiel after all and the Feral Homeschooler had freaked him out the first couple times they'd seen each other.
His inner thoughts were eventually cut off when a hand tapped his shoulder, turning around Damien was confronted by Zee, the Hockey Bros having disappeared with Caleb and Ripper still sitting on the sofas looking at the trio who were staring into space.
"You okay man? You seemed a little out of it." Zee asked him.
"Me? Yeah I'm good, just thinking about what Chris had said." Damien replied.
"Yeah dude, that was not cool of Chris to do…" Zee said, looking slightly downcasted, but quickly perking himself back up with another soda.
"I feel bad for them. Ezekiel doesn't deserve any of this, and Lauren? I can't believe he'd threaten her like that just because she'd brought him here to recover…" Damien said quietly, although the three others in the room who weren't lost in their own thoughts could still hear him quite easily.
"Hard to believe it almost made me feel bad for Scary Girl." Ripper responded, shrugging his shoulders as he continued to drink from the can Zee had given to him.
"Where did Wayne and Raj go anyway?" Damien asked them, finally noticing who was now missing from the lobby.
"Oh them, Wayne figured that the girls would want to know about what Chris had done so him and Raj went to go look for them, not that I think Axel would care too much… or MK for that matter." Caleb explained.
Damien looked back over towards the pair, both Ezekiel and Lauren still being lost in their own thoughts, he walked up towards Ezekiel in order to see if he was okay, tapping him on the shoulder just as Zee did to him.
"Uh, Ezekiel… You okay?" Damien asked.
Ezekiel glanced over at him slowly, his bloodshot eyes full of fear and anger towards the Host. "I can't b-believe what he's d-doing eh…" He eventually responded, stumbling over his words due to the shock of what had happened.
"I'm sorry man…" Damien said quietly, placing a hand on Ezekiel's shoulder. "You don't deserve to be treated like this by him…"
Ezekiel smiled gratefully at Damien, seeing Zee give him a thumbs up from behind as well as a small nod from Caleb, before he looked back towards Lauren, frowning once more.
"N-Neither does she…" Ezekiel whispered to himself, barely being picked up by Damien.
"Do you want us to stay and help or would you rather have some privacy?" Damien asked Ezekiel, glancing at the still silent Lauren, before looking over at the others.
"I'm cool with either man, your choice dude…" Zee said, looking over at Ezekiel and smiling, taking another sip of his soda.
"Whatever…" Ripper muttered disinterestedly whilst Caleb just shrugged in response, however both of them stood up ready to leave the room if needed.
Ezekiel looked over towards Lauren, the Scary Girl still standing there, almost in a trance. "I'd like it if you guys left this to me eh…" He said after a while, flashing a small smile towards the others.
"Fair enough, we'll be outside if you need us." Damien responded, holding the door open for Ripper, Zee and Caleb to walk outside. "Good luck man…" He said to Ezekiel, flashing him a small smile before leaving.
"Think they're going to be okay?" Zee asked once the four guys were outside by the pool.
"I don't know dude…" Damien responded, looking back towards the door to the lobby where the two were presumably talking.
"They'll be fine." Ripper said disinterestedly, sitting down on one of the deck chairs, "They'll probably be making out by the end of this anyway."
"You really think they're an item?" Caleb asked in disbelief.
"No!" Ripper smirked, "But it makes you think doesn't it."
"He has a point." Zee agreed, pondering the situation.
"Really, you're agreeing with him?" Caleb asked Zee in shock.
"Yeah man, you didn't talk to her much while we were on the island, she seems like a different person around him." Zee responded, smiling.
"To be fair Caleb, she does seem pretty protective of him sometimes, I mean she did pick a fight with Axel because she threatened him over his Zombie like appearance." Damien said.
"And she's risking that circus she calls a 'home' being sued by Chris just to protect him, and when have you ever seen her attack him like she did the rest of us, if all of this doesn't scream that Scary Girl likes Ezekiel then I don't know what would?" Ripper explained to the others.
"And she did fix up his battered clothing as well and make him that wig, plus didn't Wayne and Raj say that Lauren chased them because they walked in on what they had assumed was 'making out'." Damien followed up on Ripper's points. "Look, I'm as shocked as you are that this could be true but she does seem to be doing a lot to help him. More than I would've expected from her anyways considering what she did on the island."
Caleb pondered all of this information, still doubting that it was the case even with all of the evidence pointing towards it, eventually he sighed, "Man he's going to be in some shit dealing with her if you're right." He conceded.
"Hey I could be reading way too much into this, you guys just made it more convincing." Ripper argued, still smirking.
Caleb sighed once more, turning to head towards the gym, "Look I'm not going to go back and forth with this, just let them be whatever they want. I'm gonna go find the others." He said to them, beginning to walk off.
Damien and Zee waved him off as Ripper just sat back in his chair before glancing at Zee, "Got anymore of those soda's?" He asked Zee.
"Sure man." Zee threw him another can.
"...And that's everything I'm aware of, anything else and you'll probably have to ask the pair when you see them." Chef finished explaining.
The remaining six contestants all glanced at each other, still in complete shock about the situation as a whole. Someone had been stuck here for years and it had taken Scary Girl of all people to rescue them, more confusing for them was finding out from Chef about the strong friendship the pair had apparently developed in the small time frame since her elimination several days ago.
The video had been something Chef had to largely skim over, not having been present for that confrontation therefore he didn't know the full reason as to why Axel and Scary Girl were fighting, only that Ezekiel was somehow involved in it from what the video had shown of the aftermath.
Ezekiel ran over to Lauren and Damien, crouching down to meet her at eye level whilst the others went to calm Axel down.
"W-What happened Lauren?" Ezekiel asked with concern evident in his voice, hands placed on her shoulders.
Lauren looked away slightly embarrassed, "I overheard what she was saying to you." She admitted.
"What?" Ezekiel responded as Damien looked on confused.
"When you were going to the medical room, I overheard her threatening you and I wasn't gonna let her get away with it…" She admitted, slightly reddened from embarrassment.
"This true Zeke?" Damien questioned him, Ezekiel nodding slowly in response.
"Y-You didn't have to fight for me L-Lauren, I'm used to it a-anyway…" Ezekiel said to her, feeling bad that she'd gotten into a fight because he didn't stand up to Axel straight away.
She smiled softly at him, pulling him into a hug which he accepted immediately. Damien looked shocked at this, as did the others watching from across the room.
Chef sighed deeply, starting to feel more exhausted from this situation regarding Ezekiel and Lauren, the Cook just wanting to get on with the challenge.
The four hour mark for the challenge was fast approaching and Chef really hoped that Chris was going to be back soon for the next offer, since he could tell that some contestants were slowly starting to lose it.
He heard the sound of a jet ski approaching the island, and turned around to see Chris parking up at the Dock of Shame, two of the interns waiting for him to put away the vehicle so the dock was clear in time for the elimination ceremony.
Chef breathed a sigh of relief, he still didn't quite know how Chris was going to respond to this, however the challenge was still fortunately ongoing so Chef was counting on the contestants being too busy trying to win the challenge to try and continue to pester either of them with questions until after the challenge was over, but by then Chris will at least be fully informed on what had gone on here while he was at the Playa.
"Listen up!" Chef shouted over to the contestants, "Chris is going to be back here soon, I'm sure you guys still have a lot of questions about what's happening over at the losers resort, but I'd appreciate it if you waited until after the challenge!"
"Fine by me! Freakshow or not I don't plan on being eliminated anyway!" Julia responded, smirking with confidence.
"Same here, the competition is still here to win after all!" Bowie agreed, beginning to focus once more on winning now that he knew his boyfriend was actually okay, a large part of him being relieved that Ezekiel was of sound mind so no one was getting hurt.
He was competitive and would do anything to win the competition, but Bowie wasn't a bad person like Julia portrayed herself as, any damage he'd caused to other people was only in interest for the game, like he'd done with eliminating Caleb on the first day.
The other female contestants still looked slightly concerned about things, however between Millie trying to keep Priya coherent now that she was slowly beginning to tire out from their training before the challenge, and Emma's ongoing feud with Chase overriding any sense of concern about what was going on at the resort.
Chase on the other hand just smiled and shrugged, taking the news about Ezekiel and Lauren in stride as he just saw the potential for his channel having people like those two around.
He glanced briefly at Emma when she stopped glaring at him, wondering how his stream was gonna be when the two of them got back to the beach house after the season ended, not realising that Emma was still extremely pissed off at him.
Eventually Chris had made his way back to the beach where the challenge was taking place, he only spared a quick glance towards where the contestants were, slightly disappointed that no one had been eliminated while he was gone but content that he hadn't missed much.
That was until he turned to Chef Hatchet in time to see his tired glare towards him.
"Chef, dude… How's things gone while I was occupied with the losers." Chris asked, grinning smugly, only for that smug grin to drop completely with Chef's next words.
"They know…"
Chris's eyes widened slightly, glancing once more at the contestants with slight annoyance. "What do you mean 'they know'..." He asked once more, venom in his voice.
"It's what I said, they know about Lauren bringing Ezekiel to the resort." Chef explained, "Julia saw the video of that fight on her phone, Priya and Millie already knew about it as well."
"Great, just great…" Chris fumed, "First I had to put those two in their place, now I'm gonna have these losers breathing down my neck about it as well."
"Chris…" Chef muttered angrily, a dangerous glint entering his eyes. "What did you do to them?"
"I wasn't going to have some creepy goth threaten me over how I run this show, especially when it comes to someone like Ezekiel. So I threatened to sue her little circus." Chris responded, crossing his arms and glaring off in the direction of the Playa Des Losers.
"Are you crazy!" Chef boomed angrily, picking Chris up, the latters eyes widening in fear. "Chris man, you're not in the position to be doing things like this, not after the series nearly got cancelled after Pahkitew Island flopped. Do you want to go back into therapy? Because I won't think twice about informing the producers about what you're doing to them if this keeps up and that's where you'll be sent considering you clearly haven't changed a bit!"
Chef went on and on, shouting at Chris the whole time about how reckless and stupid he was being about the Ezekiel situation, the contestants not quite hearing what was being said but smirking at seeing Chris getting chewed out by somebody.
"Alright alright jeez…" Chris complained once Chef was finished, brushing his shirt off when the cook eventually let go of him. "I never said I was going to do it, it was just to get them to take this seriously."
"Neither are you Chris, you can't keep letting this grudge against Ezekiel cloud your judgement." Chef responded, crossing his arms and glaring at the host, although he was no longer shouting at him.
Chris sighed in slight annoyance, "Look, we'll talk about this after the challenge, for now can we just focus on that."
"Fine… but you do need to listen to me Chris." Chef muttered, before glancing at the contestants, them starting to bicker with each other once more now that they'd lost their entertainment from Chris being shouted at.
"Whatever." Chris dismissed his last comment. "So then, what's the timer saying anyway…" He asked Chef.
"We're coming up on the four hour mark." Chef responded.
"Really? Think it's time for our next attempt at getting them out of the challenge?"
"Already covered Chris." Chef grinned, placing a bunch of burgers and fries onto the table.
"Alrighty then, let's get to it then." Chris grinned, the Ezekiel and Lauren situation temporarily put to the back of his mind, the only thing that currently mattered to the host was making sure the ratings for his show were skyrocketing.
Chris quickly took one last look at the contestants on the poles before beginning the next section of the challenge, seeing how exhausted several of them were starting to get.
"You're four hours in campers, and I don't know about you but I'm getting a little peckish." Chris started, grinning towards Chef as he patted his stomach.
Once he was sure that the others were gone, Ezekiel stepped forwards towards where Lauren was standing, extremely nervous about what he was going to say to her.
He was extremely grateful towards her for defending him against Chris when he verbally attacked him, and a large part of him wants nothing more than revenge against the man who exploited his decaying humanity for ratings, something he was sure Lauren would be one hundred percent behind given what he said to her as well.
But that's why he was so nervous about this, he was extremely grateful towards Lauren, but this time she's hurting herself in the process to do so. Attacking the place she calls home just because of him being around, Ezekiel had no idea how to respond to it.
However, seeing Lauren looking so miserable beat out Ezekiel's fear of talking to her about it, as he hated seeing her look like this, so he called out to her.
"Hey Lauren? A-Are you okay eh?" Ezekiel asked her softly, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Lauren stiffened, having completely zoned out after Chris left the room and forgetting that other people were with her when this happened. Her head tilted slowly, facing the Feral Homeschooler, her smile shaky but still there, her eyes however were telling a completely different story.
Her pale blue eyes were completely filled with a mixture of fear, sadness and anger, fear of what was going to happen to her home, sadness towards Ezekiel and the situation he'd been put in because of her curiosity, and anger towards the man who had been using his instability for his own amusement.
"I'm fine Zekey." She smiled creepily, unsure if she was even convincing herself with that one.
"Lauren…" Ezekiel frowned, seeing how affected she was getting, he grabbed her free hand and gently guided her over towards the couches, sitting next to her after setting aside the skull that Lauren still held in her hands and began gently rubbing one of her shoulders as the Scary Girl started to vent.
"He shouldn't be doing this, I know he has issues with you and I can't stand him because of it, but to go so far as to attack my home over it!" She said, voice slowly raising and becoming more ominous as she continued.
"I u-understand being angry with him…" Ezekiel agreed with her, "And I won't l-let him do that to you eh…"
"How though!" She turned to him, her eyes beginning to water slightly, "Zekey I know you want to help me like I've been helping you, and I really appreciate it, but he's looking at putting my home out of business!" She shouted at him, before curling up slightly. "Everyone I know won't have anywhere to go… I won't have anywhere to go…" She muttered quietly, beginning to sob slightly, her purple eyeliner beginning to smear causing a small purple streak to mar her pale features.
Ezekiel said nothing in response, only holding onto her as Lauren began to let her emotions out, he'd never seen her so emotional in the time he'd known her, so he knew that this was serious.
The only thing that Ezekiel could do was just let her get it out of her system, maybe then they could figure out a way of getting through this without Chris torturing them further.
Eventually the sobbing began to quieten down, Lauren looking up at Ezekiel who looked at her patiently, a small comforting smile on his battered face.
"I'm sorry, I'm not trying to blame you at all…" She started before getting cut off.
"I know… It's that b-bastards fault eh." Ezekiel responded quietly, "We'll get t-through this Lauren, we just have to lay low now don't we? That's what he said."
Lauren stayed quiet for a moment, before eventually responding. "Yeah, but what about that video, what if something else gets put out about us that just pisses him off further."
"They won't do that a-again…" Ezekiel replied slowly, glaring off towards the stairs leading up to where the contestants' rooms were. "I'm positive they won't, they won't risk it…"
Lauren followed his gaze slowly, looking slightly confused, "You know who did it?" She asked him.
"Yeah, I r-remember everyone who was in the room at the time eh…" Ezekiel started. "Caleb and Damien w-were trying to hold you and Axel away f-from each other, Nichelle had come to warn me and the Hockey Duo a-about what happened, so it wasn't them. Ripper and Zee hadn't a-arrived yet either, so that only l-leaves one person unaccounted for eh…" Ezekiel explained.
"MK…" Lauren said slowly, her eyes widening at the realisation, before she scowled. "Oh when I find her she's gonna wish I used that jackhammer on her…" She stated, her eyes twitching as her smile stretched out almost unnaturally.
"Lauren…" Ezekiel's hand reached out to her once more, clutching her shoulders and pulling her into a hug, Lauren's eyes widening in surprise as a large blush covered her face. "It's okay eh, the o-others will keep an eye on her, MK won't be a p-problem."
"Zekey?" Lauren asked him.
"Yeah?" Ezekiel responded softly, eventually seeing Lauren slowly move her head up to face him, her face still bright red and her smile beaming at him.
Lauren didn't respond for a few moments, but she'd briefly pondered on those thoughts once more, the ones about her comforting Ezekiel, of protecting him from Fang, from Axel, from Chris.
Of how she was beginning to realise that at some point she had started to actually like him to the point where she didn't want to see him hurt like she did everyone else.
She stared into his bloodshot grey eyes, wondering if he'd thought the same thing about her at all. She looked into them and saw nothing but warmth and affection for her, so she ended up doing something extremely impulsive even by her usual standards.
Ezekiel looked into Lauren's pale blue eyes, seeing the negative emotion from before having dimmed significantly, instead being replaced by something a lot more positive. Before he could think or comment on her feeling a lot better, Lauren quickly leaned in towards Ezekiel, closing her eyes and quickly pressing her lips onto his.
Ezekiel's eyes widened briefly in shock and surprise, not expecting this at all from the Scary Girl. However he quickly found that he didn't mind in the slightest, closing his eyes and returning the kiss.
The two of them were briefly lost in their own world, the problems Chris had caused the pair having been completely forgotten. That was until a voice interrupted them…
"Hey guys, you've been in here a while, is everyth…" Damien started, opening the door back into the lobby to check on the pair, only to trail off when he saw the two kissing on the couch nearby.
"Oh my god…" Damien whispered in shock as Zee and Ripper poked their heads through the door.
"Huh… nice." Zee simply stated, taking a drink from his soda as Ripper started laughing, alerting the two who promptly separated, bright red from embarrassment.
"See! I told you guys that something would happen!" Ripper shouted, smirking at the wide eyed Damien.
"Guys! Do you m-mind eh!" Ezekiel shouted over to them, glaring furiously at Ripper in particular.
"Sorry man, we just wanted to see if you two were okay." Damien apologised, "We'll leave you guys alone now, right Ripper." Damien said, glaring at the Alpha Male who just shrugged.
"Fine by me. This is too funny though!" Ripper laughed, leaving the room. Zee and Damien shot the pair one last apologetic look before leaving as well, leaving Ezekiel and Lauren sat there, still completely embarrassed from being seen like that.
Ezekiel eventually turned to her, coughing slightly. "So uh… that just h-happened eh." He smiled slightly, trying to lift the tension from the room.
Lauren smiled in response, the blush not quite leaving her pale face. "Y-Yeah…" She eventually responded.
"So… how long have you felt like that?" He asked Lauren.
Lauren rubbed her arm sheepishly, "I only realised a short while ago, but probably since our trip to the Fun Zone back on Boney Island." She said, smirking at the mention of their brief visit to that abandoned resort in particular where they fought off Fang.
"Oh?" Ezekiel looked slightly surprised, blushing once more.
"You're not mad are you?" Lauren asked him, flashing her creepy smile at him once more.
"No… Not really." Ezekiel replied, smiling back at her. "Just surprised, that's all."
Lauren grinned slightly, leaning onto his shoulder suggestively, "Then you wouldn't mind doing that again?" She said grinning from ear to ear.
Ezekiel just laughed, "Only if Damien and co don't interrupt us this time." He joked, prompting Lauren to giggle madly in response before kissing him once more.
"Look we're going to meet at the lake and take a boat over to the losers resort, we'll stay a couple of days and be out before the end of the season ok?" Sierra said into the phone.
"Fine by me." A male voice responded through the phone, a female voice following soon after, "I hope you know what you're doing with this?"
"Bridgette it's fine, Chef already gave us permission, if anything I should be asking you guys, are you gonna be okay talking to him after everything?" Sierra responded.
"We're all good here Sierra!" Geoff's voice replied enthusiastically. "Bridge never really held a grudge on the dude, we just didn't want to be attacked that's all."
"I can't exactly blame you, there's a few people who've refused to go because of Ezekiel's actions in All Stars." She said, rubbing her head sheepishly with her free hand.
"I'm aware of that…" Bridgette replied dryly, "Gwen and Courtney both phoned me and went on separate tangents on why they're refusing to go because of that episode after you messaged them."
"Wait, they're back on good terms?" Sierra asked excitedly.
Bridgette sighed, "Yeah, although sometimes I wonder why considering they're so different. It's just Duncan and Courtney again except with no relationship problems." She responded, sounding somewhat defeated mentioning the 'friendship' between the two.
In the background Cody could be heard shouting happily, causing Sierra to smile widely, "Oh! Looks like Codykins managed to get someone else on board. Look I'll see you two soon okay!"
"Yeah dude." Geoff replied happily.
"Sure, we'll see you guys soon." Bridgette responded neutrally.
The call quickly disconnected as Sierra ran over into the other room where Cody was talking. "What's happening Cody?" Sierra called over to him, seeing him in a video call with a familiar looking redhead.
"Huh?" Cody responded confused, turning around as he removed his headset and quickly spotting Sierra approaching him. "Oh Sierra! Izzy's agreeing to go, and apparently Owen's gonna tag along as well!" He replied to her happily.
"That's great!" Sierra shouted, looking over at the screen where Izzy waved happily to her. "Are we all set to go then?" She asked the tech geek.
"Yeah, Izzy was the last person I was informing about the situation considering how close they were." Cody responded, Izzy attempting to talk to them however not reaching either of them due to Cody having removed his headphones. She could be seen on the screen making wild motions with her arms, miming snapping the cord connecting his headset to the computer.
"Uh Cody, your headset?" Sierra told him, pointing towards the screen showing Izzy's increasing annoyance at being ignored.
"Oh crap!" Cody quickly realising and disconnects the headset from the computer, the sounds of Izzy gnawing on a cord quickly filling the room.
"Yah take that you stupid wire." Izzy says in between chewing sounds.
"Izzy?" Cody says confused whilst Sierra just giggles at her antics, quickly alerting the redhead to their presence once more.
"Oh! Hi Sierra, long time no see!" Izzy shouted enthusiastically.
"Hey Izzy, you ready to head to the resort tomorrow?" Sierra asked her.
"Yep Yep! I asked Big O and he's coming as well. Noah refused the sourpuss, claimed he was spending time with his 'imaginary girlfriend Emma'..." Izzy responded, rolling her eyes at the mention of the Ridonculous Race contestant that Noah was currently dating.
"You do know that he's not lying right?" Cody asked her, receiving a raspberry in response from the crazy girl.
"Yeah Yeah whatever! Either way I'm ready to see Ezekiel again soon." Izzy replied.
"Cool! We'll see you soon then?" Sierra said, ending the call for Cody as Izzy waved goodbye on the screen.
Cody turned to Sierra after Izzy had been disconnected, looking exhausted, "I forgot how tiring it was dealing with her…" Sierra just laughed in response.
Night time had once again descended on the Playa Des Losers, the contestants were once again standing on the docks waiting for the newest eliminated contestant to show themselves at the resort.
Nichelle and Axel stood next to each other again, this time with Wayne and Raj talking to them, the latter two sending teasing glances towards Ezekiel and Lauren after having been told by Ripper about the scene he and the other guys had walked in on.
Caleb and Zee were stood talking with MK, half making conversation with her and half keeping an eye on her now that people were clocking in on the fact that MK had released that video of the fight, having caused more problems for them as a result.
Ripper sat by himself at the edge of the dock, drinking another soda that Zee had given him, occasionally glancing at the others only to be glared down by Lauren, the Scary Girl holding hands with Ezekiel whilst the Feral Homeschooler was talking to Damien.
Eventually the Drone of Despair landed once more, carrying Chase, who was crying out in pain at the claw restricting his hand which was holding a single slice of pizza. The claw released him once he was over the dock, sending him tumbling painfully to the ground.
"Aw man… Chris didn't even let me keep that pizza…" Chase complained as he slowly got up, holding the single slice that he'd managed to hold onto, wolfing it down once he noticed he still had it.
"So I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that Bowie's going next, since there's only him left against four girls." Ripper guessed, not noticing some of the glares from the others, Lauren in particular.
"Dude, just stop talking…" Damien said.
"I mean he isn't wrong, although I can see Julia going the second she loses another challenge." Chase defended Ripper, who smiled appreciatively at him.
That's when Chase looked over towards the others, noticing Ezekiel standing with Lauren and Damien. "Dude, so Chef and Julia were right after all, he is here?" Chase gasped in shock.
"Wait, Chef told you about him? And how does Julia know?" Zee asked him.
"That video of Axel and Scary Girl fighting…" Chase responded, not noticing the others glaring at MK at the mention of the video that she released.
"Anyways, I have a proposition for you two in particular." Chase grinned, walking over towards the couple of Ezekiel and Lauren.
"Eh?" Ezekiel said confused as Lauren quirked an eyebrow.
"I'm looking for a way of spicing up my stream, and you two would be perfect for it. We could call it 'Three Guys, A Scary Girl and a Feral Guy in a Beach House'." Chase asked them, grinning confidently thinking that they would snap it up.
Ezekiel and Lauren just looked at each other for a moment, convinced that this guy was crazy for even considering that, before Lauren grinned maliciously, turning back to Chase and saying, "Over your dead body!" in a sickly sweet voice, Ezekiel chuckling as Chase's expression morphed into slight panic.
"My… What?" He said, backing away slightly at the now giggling Scary Girl.
"Dude, you'd have a better chance convincing Emma to get back with you, just drop it…" Damien told him, only for Chase to regain his confident grin at the mention of Emma.
"Oh that… we're already back together." He bragged, drawing a lot of shocked attention towards him.
"Wait what?" Zee said, approaching him, "But I thought she hated you for lying to her?"
"She did, but she couldn't resist my charms forever!" Chase bragged, beginning to dance, only for Axel to push him into the water.
"Get over yourself…" She stated simply, drawing a laugh from Lauren despite their animosity towards each other.
The night eventually ended with them all heading back into the resort, Ripper escorting Chase due to him being the only person willing to tolerate him at that moment. Little did they know about what was still to come in the build up towards the season finale.
End Chapter
Author's Note: Yeah I threw all caution to the wind with this chapter, and made Ezekiel/Lauren happen. I'd constantly built up to it since the third chapter and since people were on board with it I've made it official. Can't wait to see the replies to this one XD. Oh and the last part with Chase was inspired by a post by Patwhit on the Total Drama Reddit involving Lauren and Chase, their drawings involving Lauren are a masterpiece.
There's a couple more contestants I've yet to reveal who's gonna be joining them at the Playa Des Losers, however you won't have much longer to wait to see who they are, they'll start showing up from the next chapter as we head into the final three episodes of the reboot.
Also we hit over 50k words on , so hyped about that one! Because of reviews adding to the word count on this means AO3 hasn't quite reached that yet but it definitely will next chapter, there's still several chapters left as well so I can't wait to see just how far this fic goes.
